Netflix star and medium Tyler Henry has cancelled his upcoming US tour dates after being rushed to hospital to undergo emergency brain surgery
Netflix star Tyler Henry’s upcoming tour dates have been quietly cancelled after the medium was rushed to hospital for brain surgery. The 29-year-old clairvoyant is best known for hosting Life After Death with Tyler Henry on Netflix as well as E! show Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry.
In November, Tyler underwent emergency brain surgery after doctors found a “recurring cyst and welling” on his brain. It came after he had surgery to remove a cyst on his brain in May.
His husband Clint Godwin wrote on Instagram at the time: “Over the past month, symptoms of swelling slowly returned. Tyler’s medical team decided that another surgery to address the recurring cyst and swelling was the best option.
“Today, Tyler underwent his third brain operation and is recovering well tonight! A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who has taken a moment to think of Tyler and our family over the past couple days.”
While Tyler was due to begin a tour across the US to do live audience readings, the first two dates in December have now been cancelled. Tickets can no longer be bought for performances on 12 and 13 of December in Brooks, California, with the venue marking the event as “cancelled”.
Over the years, Tyler has given clairvoyant readings to many stars – from Amber Rose, Carmen Electra, Megan Fox, Bobby Brown, to Alan Thicke, Monica Potter and Kristin Cavallari.
Back in May, Tyler updated his fans after the surgery on a colloid tumour near the centre of his brain. He wrote on Instagram: “Brain surgery was a success! Great prognosis, incredible staff, and I feel so thankful to be surrounded by my family.
“I’ll be on bed rest for a month and look forward to getting back to doing readings.”
Tyler added: “For those of you who connect with me virtually, not much will change as far as private reading giveaways and group readings, right now I’m just on the mend.
“For those curious, I had a colloid tumor near the center of my brain and thankfully most of it has been removed! (The tumor, not my brain… that is). This isn’t my first rodeo with this and I have so much to be thankful for.
“I’ll see ya’ll very soon with lots of thought-provoking subjects and of course, readings. Thank you all so much for your support.”
Fans shared messages of support in the comment section, with one writing: “Nice to see your smile. So glad all went well. Sending love!” Another commented: “Tyler! You Earth Angel, so grateful you’re ok and doing well. Sweetest smile.”
