JENNIFER Lopez’s marriage to Ben Affleck was a “publicity stunt” engineered to revive her star power, her first husband has claimed.
The Latina pop diva, 57, wed actor Ben in 2022 — exactly 20 years after the superstar couple infamously called off their first wedding.
But in an exclusive interview, Cuban-born personal trainer Ojani Noa, 52, said: “That marriage was a publicity stunt. She needed people to talk about her again.”
Jennifer married Ojani in February 1997, following a whirlwind romance.

Ojani, who lives in Florida, has said the seeds of her diva behaviour were sown long before she became a household name.
He said: “She was emotional when I did romantic things and insecure about her acting.”
Ojani scoffs at the carefully manufactured working-class narrative, alleging that the Jennifer he met had lived a remarkably comfortable, middle-class life.
And he says the Jennifer he knew was a “sweet naive young woman”.
He said: “She was working on a TV show at 18. She had money and her mum was a teacher. She is a fake.”
The Sun on Sunday revealed yesterday how Jennifer’s marriage to Ojani ended after he accused her of cheating on him with her ex, disgraced rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Diddy was convicted last year of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
