A close source told The Sun on Sunday the actor, 30, welled up because the big day was so “charged with emotion”.
“All the rumours before were just encouraged to keep people off the scent and make sure the day was just about them and their closest friends and family.
“At first they [the couple] were annoyed that Law Roach had said that, but then they embraced it.
“They laugh about it now and he was actually at the wedding this week and they were all loving life.
“It was an incredible day full of love and charged with emotion.”
Meanwhile, Tom was seen driving the Jag, with Zendaya his passenger, in South West London on Friday — suggesting the motor may have been a wedding gift.
SLUMPED in a chair in his hotel room, eyes blood-shot and his mood low, comedian Mo Gilligan is a shadow of his normal self.
His mission — to eat only fried chicken for 28 days in a bid to discover what it does to our bodies — had at first sounded like a fast-food dream come true.

But the challenge quickly took its toll, piling weight on the happy-go-lucky entertainer, sending him into a depression, increasing his chances of developing diabetes and leaving him barely able to recognise himself in the mirror.
Addressing the camera in his dimly lit room, a visibly broken Mo says: “I’m eating this food and I don’t feel like myself.

“I look in the mirror and I don’t look like myself. I feel so low.”
Mo, 38, has teamed up with Netflix for a new special, Big Chicken: A Fast Food Conspiracy, which echoes Morgan Spurlock’s 2004 documentary Super Size Me, in which he munched only McDonald’s grub for a month.
In one harrowing scene from Mo’s documentary, he breaks down in tears as he struggles with the physical and emotional effects of his diet.
During the show, he travels to visit so-called food deserts where grub is limited and pop-up takeaways are the only option.
Chicken is often seen as a healthier alternative to a burger. But in reality, more and more natural and artificial flavourings and preservatives are being added to fried poultry, which can lead to dire health consequences.
Some has even been found to contain dimethylpolysiloxane — an ingredient used in kids’ silly putty and the manufacturing of condoms. Mo tells the film: “I’ve met a lot of experts over the last couple of days.
“You know, one of the ingredients, they also put it in condoms for lubrication. Who knew that went into a burger? So many things go into it that are artificially engineered to give you a better experience and get you to come back for more.”
Speaking exclusively to The Sun ahead of the show’s release on Wednesday, Mo said he felt it was crucial for viewers to see how far the TV experiment pushed him — even when he desperately wanted to switch the cameras off.
He explained: “Being paid to eat fried chicken sounds like the dream. In my head I was like, ‘Well, I like eating fried chicken, I want to know more about it’.
“But it quickly turned into a nightmare.”

Mo — who is a judge on ITV’s The Masked Singer with regulars Maya Jama, Jonathan Ross and Davina McCall — continued: “Look, I do a job that’s very front-facing and in the public eye. I’d be lying if I said I don’t care about my image, especially if I’m eating fried chicken every day.
“Eating the food was something that I was a bit self-conscious of, but also knowing that in the space of a few days, I went from a large in my T-shirt size to an extra large because of what I’m eating.”
Mo underwent a medical assessment before and after the TV experiment.
Over the 28 days, he gained 1½in around his stomach, felt his mood skydive and saw his chances of developing diabetes increase. But despite no longer fitting into some of his clothes, Mo insists he will not use fat jabs as a quick slimming fix.

Shockingly, one spicy chicken sandwich from US chain Popeyes, which came to the UK in 2021, contains a massive 142 ingredients.
Health Professor Laura Schmidt said: “These companies are doing everything they can to make it cheap, make it convenient and to make it taste irresistible. If you see 45 ingredients and they are chemicals you don’t recognise, it is probably ultra-processed.”
She added: “Natural and artificial flavours. That’s the question mark, as it’s a bunch of chemicals they don’t have to list and those chemicals may not be regulated as there is a loophole in the federal regulation in the US. Even in Europe, when they go to regulate a chemical additive, they ask the company to prove it’s safe. In the US they don’t. The companies decide what is safe. These foods promote chronic disease. This is the big concern for our health.”
Mo, who has been touring America, insists that if anything, doing the documentary has made him more committed to his fitness.
But the comic — who played football when he was younger and now enjoys running — stressed that, regardless of your diet, nobody needs to go to extremes to benefit their health.
He reveals: “I do love my fitness, man. I love it, especially because I travel a lot on tour.
“All I need is a gym, some equipment and some gym shoes. I think when it comes to exercise, people think you must be doing a 5k. But you don’t have to be totally extreme to lose weight. As I learned, a ten-minute walk can burn calories.”
Sales of fried chicken have exploded since the 1960s.
In the UK, we spend an incredible £12million on it every day.
Britain now boasts more than 6,000 fried chicken shops, with London Road in South London having some 20.
In comparison, Tesco has 3,010 stores and Sainsbury’s has 1,485. In the doc, Mo says: “I only remember one chicken shop growing up.
“Now, one road alone has more than 20.

“In central London, you have your more gourmet ones, something from the US. Then the further you go out, they don’t even have names any more.
“DFC, MFC, we know the FC is fried chicken, but what is the M?
“PFC. What is that? Perfect Fried Chicken? . . . I have no idea.
“This bird is big business.”
Big Chicken: A Fast Food Conspiracy has been created by documentary maker Louis Theroux’s team.
And Mo is proud of showing his emotions on film.
He said: “I think men do need to be more comfortable speaking about how we feel in the moment as well with our other friends, other guys.
“It will definitely break the silence. As men, we need to speak up and be like, ‘I feel low in myself’ or, ‘I don’t look how I want to look’ or, ‘I don’t feel how I want to feel’.
“It’s really important for me to be my authentic self on camera.”
And he insists he is not making a concerted effort to crack America.
He says: “When I think of America, I always say they are great at exporting entertainment and fast food. I’m quite fortunate that I’ve had three Netflix specials and they go all around the world.
“So if it lands me in America, I’m here for that. But if it takes me to Australia or Africa, it’s equally good for me.
“I’m really fortunate I’ve been able to tick off doing all the things I wanted to do and some of the things I never thought I would be able to do as well.
“Now, being in this space and making hopefully an impactful documentary . . .
“I really enjoy this subject and seeing where it goes and telling it to the rest of the world.”

Adam’s mum Caroline, his brothers and aunt were then barred from his and Holly’s December wedding.
The tearful star blamed the feud in part for his poor performance in the pool at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, which end today.
Triple Olympic champion Adam got two individual bronzes and a silver in the mixed 4x100m medley relay.
He told The Guardian: “It’s hard because I know how hard I’ve worked.
“I know the s**t I’ve been through, which is no fault of my own. It does take a toll.”
Holly, expecting her first child with Adam, who has a son from a previous relationship, said online: “It’s not been an easy journey . . . we will keep going, through the good and the bad together.”

Adam vowed to get back to his best for the 2028 LA Olympics and to shake off his Commonwealth Games experience “very quickly”.
Meanwhile, Caroline, 60, from Uttoxeter, Staffs, said she will “always support” her son “from afar”.
BLACK Sabbath’s Tony Iommi last released a solo album more than two decades ago.
And now, as he finally announces a new record, From The Dark, he reckons it might take just as long to get presented with his MBE.

The legendary axeman was in the Actress & Bishop boozer in his native Birmingham to celebrate the album’s release when asked when he’d be going to Buckingham Palace.
Tony was made an MBE in the King’s birthday honours last month, for his services to music and charity. But he joked: “I’d forgotten about that. They have probably changed their minds now.”

From The Dark, out on October 23, is Tony’s first album since 2005’s Fused, when he teamed with former Deep Purple, Sabbath and Trapeze singer and bassist Glenn Hughes.
Queen’s Brian May plays a guest solo on Death Wake, and the blistering lead single, the upbeat but punchy World Alone, confirms why he earned the nickname The Master Of The Riffs.
That moniker’s all the more impressive when Tony reminds us that he lost the tips of the middle and ring fingers of his fret hand as a teen, while working in a sheet metal factory in the city.
He recalled: “I went to different doctors and they said, ‘You might as well give up and find another profession’.”
So he made replacement fingertips. He said: “I got a Fairy Liquid bottle, melted it down into a ball and then got a soldering iron and made a hole in it, so it fit on my finger.
“I tried to play and it slipped off. I had to find a material that would grip the strings like skin, so I cut one of my old rocker leather jackets up, and it worked.”
Iommi fans are in for a treat with From The Dark — which has eight tracks, with two additional songs, Scent Of Dark and Deified on the deluxe version.
It was two years in the making, with Tony enlisting Jorn Lande on vocals, bassist Becky Baldwin and Robbie Williams’ longtime drummer Karl Brazil.
The pair exchanged text messages the night before Ozzy died. He said: “I didn’t expect him to go overnight. It was a hell of a shock.”

On returning to work on the record, Tony added: “We’ve done it casually really, because there was no pressure.
The album is steeped in his home city’s history. He said: “The whole record is designed around Birmingham. The T-shirts have been made in Birmingham, the merchandise has been made in Birmingham.”
In front of a small group of guests, with Frank Skinner taking on the interviewing duties, Tony unveiled the dystopian video for World Alone, which was filmed in Cornwall.
“I hate doing videos, I’ve never liked them,” he said.
“This one is more like a film and I am in it but not wanting to be.”
Despite his reticence at getting in front of the cameras, it sounds likely Tony will return to the stage.
Asked whether fans will hear him play the record live, he smiled and said: “You may do.
“Anything’s a possibility.”
MARS FINAL AT WEMBLEY
BRUNO MARS brought the curtain down on his six huge Wembley Stadium shows with a low-key bash at a Mayfair private members’ club.
My moles tell me the singer hosted the do at George on Mount Street, arriving with his entourage at 1am.
A source said: “Bruno shut down an area inside George to celebrate his six Wembley gigs.
“He only invited a handful of people to join him and kept it very casual and chic. There was a great atmosphere though, and Bruno was the life and soul of the party.
“He was blown away by the reception to his Romantic Tour from British fans and was grinning from ear to ear.
“It’s been huge for him to play six headline shows there and he’s ready for a break before he heads back out in the US.”
It’s little wonder Bruno is ready for some time off.
He’s been on tour for four months now and, after three weeks away, he’ll get back to it with dates in the US and Asia, eventually finishing in Japan on January 28.
Tate shapes up for comeback

TATE McRAE gets fighting fit for her comeback as she prepares to release new music.
The Canadian pulled on her skintight workout clobber and pumped iron for an Adidas Originals Sport campaign.
It comes ahead of a return to the stage this weekend, almost nine months after her last concert.
Tate will headline the Osheaga Festival in Montreal on Saturday, and Lollapalooza in Chicago the following night, as teasers on social media suggest she might debut new songs.
Previous album So Close To What became her most successful yet when it peaked at No2 in the charts last year.
But with her star power continuing to rise, I’m sure she’s got her sights set on turning the next record into a chart-topper.
BTS SNUB GRAMMYS IN PROTEST
K-POP megastars BTS are boycotting the Grammy Awards after an Asian-only category was introduced.
The group won’t submit any of their music to be considered for any awards at the 2027 ceremony, in protest over the change.
In a statement, they said: “We have decided not to enter the Grammys this year.
“I hope that music can be heard and loved for what it is, rather than being divided by region or language.”
The Grammys last month announced the Best Asian Pop Music Performance award, where songs must contain “meaningful use” of an Asian language.
But many have criticised the move, saying it pigeon-holes artists from that region.
BTS, whose latest album Arirang is largely in English, had been expected to rack up several nominations after it became one of 2025’s best sellers.
It’s Olivia RodLego

OLIVIA RODRIGO has recreated her latest album cover in Lego form – and will hide versions of the record around the world.
She posed in this plaid mini-dress at a pop-up event in Los Angeles, where it was revealed 333 toy-brick vinyl versions of You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love will be available.
The album is in the UK Top Three for a sixth week.
Olivia and Lego will drop clues on social media, hinting at record shops where fans might be able to get the special versions.
I expect to see them popping up on eBay for astronomical sums any day now.
SHANIA’S LACK OF VISION
IT doesn’t sound like Shania Twain is very likely to compete at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2027.
Her native Canada will be joining for the first time. But asked if she’d be tempted to give it a go, she said: “It hasn’t entered my mind. It’s a fair question, though. I don’t know what my pull would be for that, but I would certainly be curious to see how that comes together. There is a lot of talent there.”
The contest will take place in Bulgaria.
But Shania has enough on her plate, having released album Little Miss Twain, which looks like entering the Top Five on Friday.
She’s also planning 30th-anniversary celebrations for her album Come On Over.
Ruben’s hol alone

RUBEN Dias has made sure everyone knows he’s one of football’s most eligible bachelors, following his split from Maya Jama.
The Manchester City defender broke up with the Love Island host at the end of April.
Three months on, and following his appearance at this summer’s World Cup with Portugal, he has jetted off on a lads’ holiday to Ibiza.
Judging by the photos of his rippling six-pack he shared on Instagram, Ruben got his mates to take thirst trap pictures for him while they were there.
But hinting that he’s still not totally over the split with Maya, he captioned the post: “Feelings on silent.”
With pictures like this, there will be plenty of people offering him a shoulder to cry on.
MACCABEES ALBUM
THE Maccabees are working on their first album since 2015, after reuniting last year.
They have been playing fresh tunes during live shows.
Asked if an album was any closer, singer Orlando Weeks told Radio X: “We have some songs, and we have one we’re really confident about and we’re enjoying playing.
“That’s the aim – to try and do it, make it good enough, and then it’ll happen.”
lMILEY CYRUS’ rocker fiancé Maxx Morando popped the question on holiday in Japan last autumn.
He told Wonderland mag it happened in “this little outer garden”.
Maxx added: “She was taking videos, and was turned away. I got on one knee and tapped her on the shoulder.”
EDDIE MARSAN is to play Harry Redknapp in a film about one of football’s most incredible stories, I can reveal.
The actor, a Spurs fan, will put his allegenices to one side when he takes on the role of the West Ham favourite when he was their assistant boss in 1994.

West Ham were struggling against non-league Oxford City in the pre-season friendly when Steve was told to put on a kit and prove he could do better . . . and did.
A source said: “Eddie has been cast as Harry in Halftime Hero and will be filming his scenes in the coming weeks.
“As a huge football fan, Eddie knows this tale well and to take on such a prominent part in a film about such a huge moment in the game is hugely exciting for him.”
Like me, Sherlock Holmes actor Eddie is a Tottenham fanatic, so it will be a dream role to play Harry, who went on to manage Spurs years later.
It’s just a shame he’s going to have to wear a West Ham coaching kit to do it.
I revealed last month that Ridley’s production company was working on the film about Harry’s famous game, which has become part of football folklore.

Steve could be heard heckling striker Lee Chapman and repeatedly branded him a “donkey” for his poor performance.
Harry went into the stands and got him to play, with Steve going on to score and helping West Ham to a 4-0 win.
The historic moment was never caught on camera, so now Anson, Eddie and Ellie Bamber — who plays Steve’s girlfriend — are bringing it to life.
Harry has spoken fondly about the wild episode over the years, admitting he told the stadium announcer that he was bringing on a “great Bulgarian” called “Tittyshev”.
Steve previously said: “It was the greatest moment of my life.
“After that, I was exhausted.
“I was on 30 cigarettes a day back then.
“I had a couple of cigs and a couple of beers in the first half.”
Good on you, Steve.

The ex-boybander, who quit the group in 2014 to lead a quieter life, was seen enjoying a peaceful afternoon in a park in Cheshire on Monday.
He now has a successful property portfolio and has declined offers to rejoin the group.
And judging by how zen he looks here, I can’t say I blame him.

KAIA GERBER and Homer Gere looked like proper Hollywood stars at the premiere of new Disney+ thriller series The Shards – maybe because of their A-lister parents.
Kaia’s supermodel mum Cindy Crawford wed Homer’s old man, Richard Gere in 1991, although the golden couple divorced four years later and went on to have kids with new partners.
Now, their actor offspring are appearing opposite each other in the Shards, which launches next week.
Speaking on the red carpet, Kaia said of Homer: “I’d never met him but I was really, really excited to meet Homer and he’s such a wonderful actor, my god.
“This is his second thing he ever did and he has this confidence and charisma – he’s so magnetic to watch.
“He made my job much easier because of how talented he is.”
Looking forward to tuning in.

IT’S tee time for golf nut Niall Horan ahead of his Dinner Party Live Tour.
The ex-One Direction singer hit the greens at Royal Lytham & St Annes in Lancashire before the AIG Women’s Open this weekend.
He will soon be heading out on the road, kicking off his tour at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on September 22.
But the long spells playing shows across the UK, Europe, Australia and North America until next May won’t stop him hitting the greens.
He said earlier this year: “It’s Niall’s golf tour with music, especially in the States.
“Florida is great.
“There’s so much good golf in Florida, and we’ll hit random places in Ohio.
“If we do 30-something shows, I’ll try to get in ten rounds.”

ELLIE MUSIC OF LOVE FOR HER BEAU
Ellie Goulding’s new record will feature at least one song about falling for Beau MinniearCredit: Getty
IT has been dubbed her “divorce album” but Ellie Goulding’s new record will feature at least one song about falling head over heels for her new beau, called, err, Beau.
I first revealed their romance last July when I told how she had jetted off to Italy with actor Beau Minniear, when they stayed at the Four Seasons in Florence together.
Now Ellie, who gave birth to their daughter Iris in March, has written a song about how she was swept off her feet by him during the trip to that very hotel.
On the track, titled 4 Seasons, she sings: “Daydreaming, faint feelings, f**k around at the Four Seasons. I think that I might be falling in love with you.
“I need it, wanna keep it. We mess around, put the damn key in. I think that I might be falling in love.”
The song will be on her sixth album, I Know Too Much, which will be released on September 4.
And from what I’ve heard so far, it’s going to be another brilliant record.
The hit film was accompanied by Prince’s album and song of the same name, with the projects being released in 1984.
The news of the stage musical was announced on the 42nd anniversary of its release and will launch next spring.
ARIANA SUES SONG HACKERS

ARIANA GRANDE has understandably seen red and filed a lawsuit against hackers who leaked unreleased tunes.
The Thank U, Next singer has alleged that two unidentified hackers broke into devices from people she had worked with to get songs and footage of her which was sold for “significant sums of money” on the dark web.
Legal papers have been lodged in Los Angeles to try and unmask those responsible.
The documents claim: “In 2023 alone, 45 unreleased songs belonging to Ms Grande were hacked, stolen, and leaked.
“Since her music debut in 2011, hundreds of similar leaks have taken place.”
And it sounds like Ariana, whose new album Petal will be out on Friday, won’t stop pursuing them until they’re in prison.

Andros launched a website last month charging fans to watch the film Trojan Souls — The Greatest Album That Was Never Made.
But the legal team from George’s estate has now lodged a case against him at London’s Intellectual Property and Enterprise Court, claiming its rights have been breached.
Furious Andros, 63, said the legal claim was “a case of sheer greed”.
On George, he said: “Yes, we fell out, but we loved and cared for each other deeply, and I find the baseless claims and the constant attempts to erase me from history both disrespectful and, frankly, a bit desperate.
“The film belongs to me.
“Trojan Souls belongs to me.
“They’ve opened Pandora’s Box.
“They won’t want me on the stand.
“I know way too much.
“Bring it on.”
Andros’s film shows the making of tracks for Trojan Souls: The Voice of Reason, a collaboration album with global superstars.
Pop fans are being asked to pay £4.99 for 48 hours of access to the 90-minute video online.
Tribe Media is also selling £19.99 VIP tiers, promising access to never-before-heard recordings of George’s unreleased songs from the record.
Andros shot the video using a camcorder given to him by Sony while they were in Japan on George’s Faith tour.
Andros said: “First and foremost — my brother in arms, my best friend, George Michael to you, Yog to me — would turn in his grave knowing what Russells (the estate’s lawyers) are attempting — and spending his money to do it.”
Andros and George were estranged before the star’s death on Christmas Day, 2016, but had been planning to reconcileThe pair had a close friendship for decades after their fathers moved to the UK from Cyprus together in 1953Credit: Getty
He went on: “It is well known Yog and I were working on Trojan Souls through my record label, Hardback Records.
“The film I have released was shot by me, with Yog’s full approval.
“This was a home video leaked over 30 years ago.
“It kept resurfacing on YouTube.
“So I decided, if you can’t beat them, put the film out myself, since others were already profiting from my home video.”
The legal case lists Andros and Tribe Media, the production house distributing the film.
The claimants are Robobuild Limited and Big Geoff Overseas Limited, the holding companies George used to manage royalties and world tours.
Andros and George were estranged before the star’s death on Christmas Day, 2016, but had been planning to reconcile.
But Andros had spoken to his pal on the phone in the final weeks of his life.
The pair had a close friendship for decades after their fathers moved to the UK from Cyprus together in 1953.
Most of the one-hour 24-minute film shows George playing the piano, performing vocals with backing singers, grabbing a bass and talking to producers about his track list in an LA studio.
George lost interest in the album when his then-partner Anselmo Feleppa’s health declined.
Anselmo, who suffered from Aids, died in March 1993.
George never completed the album.
It can take up to two years for a case at the court to reach trial.

She has also had a difficult love life, getting married to Migos rapper Offset in 2017, and having four kids with him before they separating in 2023.
A source said: “Cardi is one of the most in-demand rappers in the world and is also one of the most interesting.
“She has lived her life in the public eye to some degree. But there’s a lot that she’s never opened up about, and this is her chance.
Cardi, who wore this eye-popping pink catsuit and matching hat, has quite a backstory, so I’m sure it will be riveting viewingCredit: GettyCardi released her long-awaited second album Am I The Drama? last year and then went on a tour across North AmericaCredit: Instagram
“Next year will mark a decade since she released her major-label debut single Bodak Yellow and so there’s a documentary in the works which will mark that.
“There’s a lot to talk about and she wants the public to see who she really is, because she often feels misunderstood.
“It’s expected to air on a big streaming service like Netflix, but the deal is still being hatched out.”
Cardi released her long-awaited second album Am I The Drama? last year and then went on a tour across North America.
And I won’t be surprised if we see her back on stage at British festivals next summer.
KOJO: LADIES RULE

Kojo Funds has worked with acts ranging from Wizkid and Tion Wayne to Kano and Bugzy Malone since bursting on to the music scene a decade ago.
But the British singer has saluted the work ethic of top women in the industry and says they have inspired him.
His biggest chart hit to date is 2017 collaboration Finders Keepers with Mabel, and has also worked with Raye on a 2018 track called Check.
Kojo said in an exclusive interview: “Female artists who are operating at that level take their craft seriously. Put effort into what you’re doing, don’t do it anyhow.
“They’re very hard-working, I respect them for that. The work ethic… that’s the kind of thing I took from them.”
Kojo’s new single How Many will be on his EP Hello It’s Me Again, which is out on August 21.
And one person who’s bound to be giving it a spin is Cardi B.
Recalling how the US rapper discovered his music, he said: “Her first time in London, she went to a club and they were playing my music.
“Dun Talkin’ came on and she saw how people were hyping her up while she was moving to it.
“The next morning, she’s on Instagram singing it, with her hair messy, a little bit tipsy.”
They’ve since performed together and hung out, so I’m hoping a collaboration with her is on the cards next.

The World Cup anthem will be her third chart-topper if she can hang on to the lead until Friday.
But if Rein Me In can clinch it, it will become the longest-running No1 of all time, with 19 weeks at the top.
ROMCOM TOO TOUGH FOR CHRIS
Christopher Nolan says there’s one genre that’s too hard for him to tackle – the romcomCredit: Getty
OSCAR-winning director Christopher Nolan says there’s one genre that’s too hard for him to tackle – the romcom.
The man behind movies such as Oppenheimer, Interstellar and The Dark Knight would be “terrified” at the prospect of making one.
The Brit whose new epic The Odyssey is No1 at the box office, explained: “I think doing a romcom would be incredibly difficult.
I love watching those movies. But no, I think people who direct comedy, people who do comedy . . . that’s one of the hardest things in the world, to make people laugh that way.
“If I show a film to people and maybe they don’t respond to bits of it, I’m like, ‘Ah, they don’t get it. Whatever’. There’s no hiding behind that when you do comedy, so I would be terrified.”

Zara’s latest feet

THERE was no chance of Zara Larsson getting cold feet about her latest brand deal with these slippers.
She wore the funky footwear – designed as giant feet in flip flops – while reclining on a sofa as part of a campaign for re-sale site Depop.
Zara put 30 pieces of clothing from her own wardrobe up for sale, and they sold out almost straight away.
She said: “I’m not particularly sad about releasing anything of mine into the world because I know I’m gonna get many more beautiful things back. Fashion is fun in that way.”
Given all the designer brands desperate for her to wear their clothes, I am sure she has plenty of options.

DANNY DYER and Ray Winstone are teaming up again, two decades after appearing in TV film All In The Game.
The hardmen, pictured together in 2006, have been cast in UK crime thriller Going Under, which is due to hit cinemas next spring.

It will follow Ray’s gangster character Riley and his right-hand man Don, played by Danny, trying to pull off one final deal.

CHARLI XCX is ready for our fourth heatwave of the summer – and has stripped off to prepare.
She shared this photo of her wearing a bra and sunglasses on Instagram, just as it was revealed there will be a picture of the singer going on display at the National Portrait Gallery in London.
A 2024 photo of Charli in a white crop top, which was taken by Harley Weir and used to promote her album Brat, has been added to the gallery’s collection and will be in its History Makers Now space.
Senior curator Brandei Estes said: “We are delighted to acquire this striking portrait of Charli XCX, which captures one of the defining cultural figures of her generation.”
WILD Child actress Emma Roberts has tied the knot to afellow screen star Cody John.
Emma, who appeared in American Horror Story and is the niece of Hollywood A-lister Julia Roberts, wore a Monique Lhuillier dress, and told Vogue: “I’ve been married in a movie before, and I tried out wedding dresses for that, which feels so weird. Now, it’s the real deal.
“I wanted it to feel very vintage-inspired.”
The couple started dating in 2022.
LIZ & BILLY LOVE BIRDWATCHING
LIZ HURLEY has revealed the secret to her romance with Billy Ray Cyrus is a shared love of birdwatching.
She said: “We’ve been together nearly 18 months, but we spend the vast majority of our time in the countryside, whether it’s in England or Tennessee.
“We like doing the same things, which some people would think is a little odd. We like bird watching. We’ve got binoculars, we’ve got long lenses.”
The relationship has been especially good for her son, filmmaker Damian, who has been able to meet Billy’s superstar daughter Miley.
Liz added on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live in the US: “When he was a young teen, he used to love all her music. I used to have to watch her music videos like Wrecking Ball a zillion times with him, so we were very familiar with who she was, and I knew I was going to like her, and I do like her.”
JENNIFER Lopez’s marriage to Ben Affleck was a “publicity stunt” engineered to revive her star power, her first husband has claimed.

Ojani, who lives in Florida, has said the seeds of her diva behaviour were sown long before she became a household name.
He said: “She was emotional when I did romantic things and insecure about her acting.”

Ojani scoffs at the carefully manufactured working-class narrative, alleging that the Jennifer he met had lived a remarkably comfortable, middle-class life.
And he says the Jennifer he knew was a “sweet naive young woman”.
He said: “She was working on a TV show at 18. She had money and her mum was a teacher. She is a fake.”
JENNIFER Lopez’s first husband squared up to Sean “Diddy” Combs in a blazing row after the rapper had an affair with his wife, The Sun on Sunday can reveal.
In a world-exclusive interview, Ojani Noa — the original Mr J-Lo — claims he confronted the disgraced star in a terrifying Hollywood bust-up.

Ojani also tells for the first time how Diddy threatened superstar Jennifer — now 57 — and verbally abused the singer at her own home, leaving her “in fear for her life”.
Cuban-born Ojani married J-Lo in 1997, a little over a year after a passionate whirlwind meeting but they split 11 months later as Jennifer’s hunger for global fame took over.

Jennifer then started officially dating Diddy, now 56, in 1999 but the toxic couple finished their tumultuous relationship in 2001.
Ojani, a 52-year-old personal trainer living in Florida, today discloses for the first time the explosive moment he stepped in to protect his ex-wife from the Bad Boy Records founder.
He recalls: “It was the year she dumped him.
“We were still friends and we had decided to start over again.
“Everyone makes mistakes and deserves to be forgiven once.
“She had tried to dump Diddy before and he had threatened her and her family.

“He turned up to her assistant’s birthday party in Los Angeles — which Jennifer had thrown for her — and everyone was shocked.
“I went over to him and told him to leave and he told me to back off. He asked me who I was, to which I replied, ‘F*** you’. I told him he had slept with my wife.
“Jennifer got in between us. She said he would leave but he didn’t.
“I got upset with her and at the end of the night she got in his car and left.”
The dramatic showdown at the party was only the beginning of a terrifying campaign of intimidation.
Ojani says that a few weeks later Jennifer — who has always remained notoriously tight-lipped in public about her dark history with Diddy — called him, “terrified” after the rapper turned up at her Los Angeles home and began screaming her name.
He reveals: “She said she was scared and afraid so I instantly left work and came over.
“When I got there it was pitch black and I couldn’t see anyone, so he must have been hiding. As I drove in he started shouting and telling her he knew I was inside.
“That’s when I fronted him up. Jennifer was on the balcony and told me not to as she was worried.
“She told me he had guns but I told him that I would f* him up.
“She said she was going to call the cops but a neighbour must have called them as they turned up and Diddy ran away.

“She had said to me before that he could do bad things. But I told him to his face that he was a coward.
“That’s why he was always with bodyguards with guns because anyone could take him one on one.”
Ojani arrived in the US illegally aged 15, after making the perilous 90-mile trip from his home in Cuba to Florida with six friends on a homemade raft.
Washing dishes at Latin pop singer Gloria Estefan’s Miami restaurant, Larios On The Beach, the ambitious 22-year-old worked his way up to become head waiter.
It was there that he first locked eyes with Jennifer, then 27. The pair hit it off immediately and Ojani packed up his life to move to Los Angeles to be with her.
He famously asked her to marry him with a diamond ring during the crowded wrap party for her breakout film Selena.
Lucrative offers came flooding in from every corner of the entertainment industry, including a multi-million-dollar record deal from Sony music mogul Tommy Mottola.
But that meteoric rise to the top was the moment things started to unravel between the newlyweds.
Ojani says: “Everything was great and we were so in love.
“I was in charge of launching a nightclub in LA called The Conga Room which was part-owned by Jen, while she went off to make her debut album — On The 6 — in New York and Miami. That was when Diddy was drafted in to help produce several tracks.
“They knew each other way before the media reported they did.
“She started hanging out with Diddy more and more, and I started seeing her less and less.
“Then the rumours started. I still had a lot of friends working in Miami hotels who would call to say they had seen them hanging out and leaving together.
“She would tell me it was just work. But then a picture appeared in the US magazines of her sitting on Diddy’s lap at the pool of Miami Beach Hotel. We started to fight really badly as I knew she was cheating on me.”

Desperate for answers, Ojani took a six-hour flight from Los Angeles to Miami to sneak past security into Jennifer’s luxury hotel suite.
He waited for hours to challenge her face-to-face.
“She was on her own,” he said.
“But she was shocked I was there.
“I told her again she was cheating and we got into a massive fight.
“The next morning she went to the studio and I went back to Los Angeles. She rang me and said I couldn’t do that again.”
As the marriage crumbled, Jennifer’s public relations machine was working overtime to present a picture of domestic bliss to the world.
Ojani says an appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show, where a beaming J-Lo told millions of viewers that she was “happily married”, was the final straw.
“We went to the Oscars and she was using me so she could pretend to everyone that everything was OK. It wasn’t. So we got divorced.”
ARE you a stinky food smuggler or perhaps a brazen barefooter? Because how you behave while on your flight this summer could reveal a lot about your personality.
New research by Booking.com has found that two-thirds of Brits treat the aeroplane cabin as a home-from-home, with a tenth admitting they kick off their shoes and go barefoot.
Choosing to hog both arm rests is a daring decision, but it says a lot about you according to psychologist Emma KennyMore than four million people are due to fly from British airports this monthCredit: Getty
Major bugbears included passengers eating smelly food, watching films without headphones, leaning over fellow travellers to take photos of the sky, and doing manicures.
Among the biggest pet peeves for people – whether it’s on a plane or on public transport – are space hoggers and ‘manspreaders’.
If your seat is in the middle and you take up both armrests, you may irritate your neighbours, but Emma says: “You probably have a strong sense of what you consider fairness.
“Many people believe the middle seat has earned both armrests, so if you confidently claim them, you’re likely someone who values unwritten social rules.
“Just remember there’s a difference between quietly claiming your space and elbowing your neighbours into submission.”
BAREFOOT BRIGADE
Those who sneakily take off their shoes and socks during flights have attracted anger from the public
Reddit threads consistently cite this as one of the most disgusting cabin behaviours and some passengers have even uploaded photos of the so-called ‘barefooters’.
Speaking about those who did this, Emma says: “Comfort is clearly your priority.
“You probably become so relaxed in your surroundings that you momentarily forget you’re still sharing the space with hundreds of strangers.
“It’s less about being deliberately inconsiderate and more about becoming so comfortable that your social awareness quietly checks out.”
BLACK COFFEE BORES
Your choice of drink, whether it’s a boozy tipple or a hot drink says a lot about you
If you shun the delights of the cabin crew’s trolley and prefer to order a simple black coffee, then this flight is not your first rodeo.
Emma says: “If you order black coffee you’re probably a seasoned traveller who sees flying as a practical part of the journey rather than the start of the holiday.
“You tend to be organised, forward-thinking and focused on arriving feeling your best.
“Black coffee drinkers often give the impression of someone who’s done this many times before and has their travel routine down to a fine art.”
SEAT STICKLERS
Those who book the same seat time and again like routine, Emma saysCredit: Getty Images
Do you always book the same seat every time you fly?
Emma says: “You’re probably someone who likes routine, predictability and being in control of your environment.
“Knowing exactly where you’ll be sitting removes one more decision from the journey, helping you feel organised and relaxed.
“It’s a habit often seen in people who like planning ahead and minimising unnecessary stress.”
MOVERS AND SHAKERS
Some daring passengers skip reserving a seat entirely and hope a kind fellow flyer will let them switch seatsCredit: Getty
However, if you tend to skip the seat reservation, and hope others will swap so you can sit with your party, it means you’re a glass half-full kind of person.
Emma says: “You’re probably optimistic and naturally spontaneous, with a tendency to believe everything will somehow fall into place.
“While that flexibility can be one of your strengths, it can also mean expecting other people to accommodate plans you didn’t make in advance.
“It’s a classic example of assuming everyone shares your relaxed approach, which is very rarely the case.”
CHATTY NEIGHBOUR
Being sat next to chatty passenger isn’t always the dream scenarioCredit: Getty
If you are always up for a good chinwag with the person sitting next to you, it says a lot about you.
Emma adds: “You’re likely highly sociable and energised by conversation.
“For some people, talking also helps reduce anxiety and makes unfamiliar situations feel more comfortable.
“The trick is recognising when your neighbour is equally chatty, or when they’ve put their headphones on for a very obvious reason.”
SEATBELT TWITCHER
Those who quickly unfasten their seatbelt before the sign instructs are positive people
It isn’t easy being constrained in the seat for long periods.
And if you’re someone who unbuckles before the seatbelt sign goes off and talks through the safety presentation, then you are probably optimistic by nature.
Emma says: “You’re probably experiencing what’s known as optimism bias, the belief that nothing is going to happen because nothing ever has before.
“Familiarity can make us complacent, but experienced travellers know that paying attention to the safety briefing and waiting for the seatbelt sign to switch off before unbuckling is a small habit that can make a big difference.”
BACKPACK BASHER
‘Bagpack bashers’ are laser-focused people according to EmmaCredit: Getty Images
If you’re the passenger who keeps your backpack on right until you get to your seat, then you are very goal focussed.
Emma says: “You’re probably so focussed on reaching your seat that you lose awareness of what’s happening around you.
“Psychologists call this attentional narrowing, we become so focussed on one goal that we overlook how our behaviour affects others.
“Unfortunately, the people you’ve accidentally whacked with your backpack are usually very aware of it.”
JUST ONE LAST CALL-ERS
Refusing to end a phone call until the last moments shows you’re a ‘sharing’ person
Some passengers find it difficult to switch off and insist on making one last Facetime call, or filming a TikTok video before take-off.
Emma says: “You probably enjoy sharing experiences as they happen.
“You’re someone who likes documenting life and bringing friends and followers along for the journey.
“The challenge is remembering that not everyone wants to be an extra in your travel content.”
AND…RELAX-ERS
Nervous flyers may go for a boozy tipple to take the edge off flyingCredit: Getty Images
A quarter of Brits drink alcohol in the airport and one tenth admit to ‘getting drunk’ mid-air, according to a survey for the Institute of Alcohol Studies.
Emma says: “For many people, the holiday begins the moment they clear security, so ordering a beer, wine or G&T is all part of switching into holiday mode.
“It often reflects someone who enjoys marking occasions with little rituals and embraces experiences rather than simply getting from A to B.
“For nervous flyers, though, it can also be a way of taking the edge off pre-flight anxiety, although alcohol isn’t the best remedy for that.”
KATY PERRY is on tour across Europe and her No1 groupie – former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau – has been a regular at her shows.
I can reveal he has spent his whole summer following her around on tour, and even brought friends to Europe to spend time on a yacht in between her concerts.

The superstar headlined the famous Isle of MTV concert in Malta on Wednesday — Europe’s largest free concert — and he was there cheering her on.
And we will soon be hearing a lot more from Katy, as I’m told she’s almost completed work on her eighth album, which has been inspired by moving on from long-term partner Orlando Bloom and finding love again with the politician.

That might be a surprise after the recent release of her singles Bandaids and Watch It Burn, which were written early last year and on which she gave Orlando both barrels. But now she’s done with writing break-up songs, telling the Unfamous podcast: “I know the next step I’m going to take.
“Watch It Burn, actually I didn’t need to do a whole EP of this feeling. But I needed to touch it and circle it.
“And now I’m moving on and I’m going to be writing something that is going to represent what I’m feeling now.
“I have to process it. This is my therapy.
“This is my art.”
Wednesday’s concert attracted a crowd of 30,000 fans to Il-Fosos Square for the 18th year of Isle of MTV Malta, staged in partnership with Malta Tourism Authority.

Justin was seen bopping along to her biggest hits from the lighting tower, and she called out to him three times from the stage.
Before singing I’m His, He’s Mine, Katy, who was wearing a vintage costume she wore for an MTV VMAs advert in 2009, gushed: “I’m gonna dedicate this one to my boyfriend.
“I love when he comes to my shows, it always makes me so happy.
“I love you, baby.”

My insider said: “Katy is the happiest she has ever been now that she’s with Justin and she wants to reflect that in the music.
“The end of her relationship with Orlando was one of the hardest things she’s been through but she doesn’t want to dwell on it with the music.
“It’s about owning who she is and holding her head high.
“Justin feels like her soulmate and it’s been really inspiring for her.
“Most of the new album was recorded at the beginning of the year.
“The title Scorpio Bitch was discussed for the album but that’s likely to change as she doesn’t want to come off as too spiky.
“The album is almost done, she’s really proud of what she’s been working on.”
On stage, she was like an excitable, giddy teenager as she called out to him.
So I imagine it will be her most loved-up record ever.
IF you missed out on the chance to see Katy Perry on tour over the past year, you’ll soon be able to catch up on two of her live shows.
Her huge Isle of MTV Malta show will air on MTV on September 18 – showcasing her Out Of Office summer show, which she also performed at Blenheim Palace and Cardiff Castle earlier this month.
But that’s not all. Katy’s concert film The Lifetimes Tour: Live From Paris – recorded during her previous tour last year – is coming to 150 UK cinemas on September 2.
The two-hour film features footage of her singing her biggest hits as part of one of her most ambitious tours ever, plus there’s exclusive backstage footage included.
The tour reached more than one million fans during 91 shows in 23 countries, and raised almost £82,000 for the Music Venue Trust in the UK.

TOM HOLLAND is finally moving forward with his Fred Astaire biopic – but said he’s filled with “dread”.
Five years after revealing he’d be playing the actor and dancer, the Spider-Man star has started rehearsals and is determined to do all the dancing himself.
Speaking on US telly, Tom, who is currently on the promo trail for both The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, said: “What I love about my job is the challenges. We have Fred Astaire next. As soon as I finish these tours, I’m diving back into the dance studio.
“I did my first few rehearsals recently and it both filled me with excitement and absolute dread because I’ve got so much work to do to try to do Fred proud.”
He added he has “a desire to use no doubles” and shoot the dances in one shot as Fred would have done.

JOANNE HAS VAPE ESCAPE
Joanne Mcnally started vaping in the Celebrity Traitors castle, meaning producers had to interveneCredit: Getty
The comedian admitted puffing on an e-cig during filming, which meant producers had to intervene, as it can’t be shown on air.
She admitted: “I remember we were chatting, having a real deep and meaningful.
“And they cut filming. They’re like, ‘Joanne, you can’t vape in the castle’.
“I was really into this conversation, pulling on this vape. Because you feel relaxed in the castle.”
Asked if she forgot the cameras were there, she told the Bottom’s Up podcast: “Totally. And I always thought that was horses**t when I’d watch Big Brother before.
“I was like, ‘As if you could forget the cameras were there’. But you do, actually.”
I hope it doesn’t lead to her being smoked out when it airs in the autumn.
BURLESQUE The Musical’s UK tour will not open at Woking Theatre tomorrow, with the week-long run being cancelled just 48 hours before it was due to start.
The show starring Corrie’s Faye Brooks, has been plagued with a series of issues and is now scheduled to launch on August 6 at the Sunderland Empire. The London run has been postponed to 2027.
HEEL AND BACK FOR JACOB
JACOB ELORDI has revealed he broke both heels earlier this year.
The 6ft 5in actor said he “jumped off something” and suffered the painful injury – forcing him to withdraw as a juror at Cannes Film Festival.
Speaking on US TV the Wuthering Heights star said: “I broke both my heels earlier this year. I jumped off something.”
It happened as Nate Jacobs, his character in Euphoria, was having his toes and fingers cut in graphic scenes on the show.
Jacob, who is dating Kendall Jenner, added: “I was in a cast and a moon boot at the same time Nate was getting his digits cut off.
“Everyone thought it was hilarious, like, ‘Oh, method acting!’ I was like, ‘Yeah, I cut my f***ing toe off.’”
OASIS DOC GETS VENICE PREMIERE

The brothers, plus writer Steven Knight and directors Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern, are all expected to attend the event which starts on September 2.
Cameras followed Noel and Liam on last year’s worldwide sell-out stadium run, which saw them performing to millions of fans across 41 dates.
The documentary features revealing interviews and the first tentative meeting between the once-warring siblings.
Last year at Venice, docudrama The Voice Of Hind Rajab received the longest standing ovation in the festival’s history – with people clapping for 23 minutes and 50 seconds. Surely, Oasis can beat it.
DESTINY’S CHILD are gearing up to release a new album of unheard remixes, says Beyonce’s dad.
Mathew Knowles, who managed the girl group during their original run, said the project, will feature a collaboration with Missy Elliott. He said: “We have remixes that have never been released and we’ll be putting those out soon.”

This statement, as we all now know, never materialised. Because that’s how conmen like Lee operate: over the resulting four months he lied, scammed, obfuscated and wormed his way back into her affections.
Time and time again he has dismissed the seemingly never-ending allegations against him as a scurrilous and damaging pack of lies.

Katie, in her misguided loyalty, has sucked it up, and let him back in. But today I am going to lay bare the damning Lee Files: past recordings, voice notes, messages and shameless untruths.
Unverified rumours of a gay affair, allegations of more people cheated of their hard-earned savings, a forthcoming appearance on Piers Morgan’s global YouTube show, horrific allegations of mental and physical abuse from former partners, mental health fakery and what really happened with the couple’s new dog, Dubaii: all shall be revealed.
My hope, in so doing, is to expose this man for the pathological liar he really is – and ensure he never, ever hurts another woman (or man) again.
Lee, a source tells me, has left Katie no choice but to consult a divorce lawyer.
She is also, I can confirm, refusing to return to Dubai. And with Lee locked-up, with travel ban, a reunion any time soon seems unlikely.
For Lee, literally and metaphorically, there is no coming back.
“I’VE got a statement drafted, I’m ending it,” Katie Price told me of her fledgling marriage to Lee Andrews.

Time and time again he has dismissed the seemingly never-ending allegations against him as a scurrilous and damaging pack of lies.
Katie, in her misguided loyalty, has sucked it up, and let him back in. But over the next 1,500 words I am going to lay bare the damning Lee Files: past recordings, voice notes, messages and shameless untruths.
So, where to begin?
Lee and I have history as anyone familiar with this sorry saga may remember.
The “multi-millionaire businessman” persuaded me to “invest” £1,000 in his latest (non existent) project, promising a £4,000 return. Needless to say those funds never arrived.
After my piece ran, and Lee first emerged from Al-Awir prison, he sent me a series of messages insisting the money was still on its way (LOL). I told him not to bother paying me back as my bank, HSBC, had refunded me.
Clemmie awoke with a flurry of messages from Lee after describing him as a ‘bad man’ and ‘sociopath’After Lee left Al Awir prison, he insisted the money Clemmie ‘invested’ was still on the way but HSBC had already refunded itCredit: AFP
Our early exchanges post-prison – to recap, I had earlier joined the model, 48, in trying to hunt down Lee in the UAE – were cautious.
We sent one another “disappearing messages” on WhatsApp, both nervous the other might release them.
When I filmed an Instagram video describing Lee as a “bad man” and a “sociopath”, I awoke to a flurry of seething messages from him saying: “Clems you are not allowed to discuss a persons case files publicly it comes with 3 years sentence and 200k fine (sic).
“The UAE authorities will arrest you for this. And the facts are wrong on this bill oh dear clemmie what have you done. I have to make a police case for this now.”
I am still awaiting that lawsuit.
In response to my disclosure that Lee had had a hair system fitted – aka a toupee – he added: “And you can’t discuss a person’s appearance online.”
From here, I clawed things back and we went on to start chatting again more regularly.
He sent me photos of his shackle marks and hand cuff ties – things people had mocked online in the wake of his claims he’d been taken at gun point to a black site – and said he’d had a hard time in jail.

This I believe.
And on 15th July, unfortunately whilst I was having Botox shovelled into forehead, I missed two calls from Lee in Al Awir prison.
It was utterly bizarre. He left me a voice mail: “Obviously I think you know where I am. I want to run something past you.” He thanked me and signed off. To this day, I have no idea what he wanted.
Anyway, I honestly didn’t know if I would ever release this dossier, and even now, there is a part of me that feels enormous guilt.
Because Lee can be funny, charming, interested and interesting. It is hard not to like him, on a superficial level, and I can understand how and why so many women have fallen for his charms.
I have, though, since spoken to an anonymous account online, going under the name Chaos Corner, who claims to know someone personally conned by Lee.
They have posted several damning videos about his past behaviour, and much of the evidence stacks up. There is, after all, no smoke without fire.
I have also chatted at length to his brilliant ex-fiancee, Alana Percival. She is an incredibly courageous and powerful woman, and the first to come forward with allegations – and proof – concerning her ex’s treatment of her, and other women.
She has subsequently set up a support group for women who have been hurt by this man, using her voice for good, and gaining hundreds of thousands of supporters online in the process.
She tells me: “Based on my own experience, I believe Lee is a dangerous, sick and deeply harmful person. I believe he should be held accountable through the proper legal process.
“My hope is that no one else has to go through what I went through and that anyone who has experienced trauma through him or his actions, abuse or manipulation, feels able to find their voice when they’re ready.
“That’s why I don’t judge Katie at all. Unless you’ve lived through that kind of manipulation, it’s incredibly hard to explain the hold someone can have over you.”

Over the past five months we have witnessed, in real time, the car crash of this marriage. Like rubber-neckers, we haven’t been able to get enough.
But, as the love-loving mum of five has always reminded me, this is HER life we are all gawping at. And only she can call time on this marriage.
It is, though, a sorry state of affairs that has left Katie teetering on the brink of losing public support, something she should be basking in off the back of her recent hit four-part documentary.
But as she herself said in our interview earlier this year, “never underestimate The Pricey”.
Kate is canny. She has, I can reveal, ALL the receipts of Lee’s lies, and WILL deploy them in a court of law should she need to.
Lee may have hoped to take a pretty penny from this marriage – but I doubt he will get one.
She has also NEVER paid for his release from jail contrary to public opinion.
And whilst Lee has garnered something of a celebrity status himself – flogging personalised Cameo videos for around £30 a pop – no TV network would dare to platform him with so many serious allegations hanging over him.
Indeed, a few weeks ago he was in talks with Piers Morgan to undertake a lie detector test. Piers confirmed they were in talks, but on Wednesday told me he had pulled the plug, describing Lee as “dangerous to deal with”.
He is dangerous I fear – which is why I am now blocking him across all forms of communication. I do not wish for his wrath or recrimination.
Doubtless Lee will feel I have betrayed his trust. And, yes – I have.

But, then again, this is a fraudster, currently holed-up for the third time in 10 months, and someone who took to Instagram on June 2nd to tell his 150,000 followers that his mental health had taken a battering after being relentlessly trolled 24/7.
This, I can now reveal, is yet another blatant lie. And one, for me, that crosses a line.
“Obviously you know I am not depressed,” he told me in a voice note.
“That’s there to get my legal side up, to get my doctor to sign me off. Do not repeat that!”
Well, I’ve repeated it, because it makes a mockery of those kind, decent folk genuinely battling daily with mental health struggles.
Elsewhere, despite his endless wealth brags, a source tells me a brief £300million partnership he obtained with the UAE Royal Family Offices was terminated after representatives sent in accountants to check Lee’s financials.
He had pledged a bond of around £10million, but when they checked his accounts, it is claimed, found only 27 Dirhams sitting there.
Lee, naturally, will likely deny this – and given he is in prison I am unable to put this historic allegation to him.
But then again, he denies all allegations.
Including a slightly surreal one earlier this week, in a post by Chaos Corner which purported to show loving text messages between Lee and another younger man.
Screenshots of the WhatsApps, in which he promised to leave Katie to be with this anonymous chap – homosexuality is prohibited in Dubai – also showed a credit card with Lee telling the man to treat himself to something nice.
The owner of the account sent me the telephone number of Lee given to them – and it matches the one I have.

I can reveal Katie put this latest twist in the tail to her husband on the phone on Tuesday night – and he adamantly rejected them.
Another recent dispute came over ownership of the couple’s Pomski whom they rescued from a pet shop, and named Dubaii.
Katie paid for the seven month-old pup, but Lee assured her he had sorted care for the poor animal after he got banged-up once again.
When she couldn’t get hold of her best friend, Katie contacted Lee’s ex, Dina, who runs an animal rescue sanctuary, to take him in.
Lee also told Katie he had paid for Dubaii to be flown back to the UK.
Surprise, surprise, he had not.
More lies from a man who makes Pinocchio’s nose seem miniscule.
Even in own sister, Kelly, who has been a rare voice loyally supporting him, seems to have turned against him.
Family friend Becky Smith bravely posted on Facebook: “Kelly Andrews and I just want to take a moment to speak the truth.
“Recent information shared by Chaos Corner has brought forward evidence that has left us both shocked. We are the first to admit when we’re wrong and now that there is proof, we feel it’s important to acknowledge that. (It is) incredibly painful for the family.”
Latest unedifying accusations over a recorded video call – released on Chaos Corner, supposedly show Lee scamming an American man out his late mother’s inheritance. Again, Lee will presumably claim this is AI and untrue.
Lee’s litany of lies, should I detail them in full, would take me way over my word count.
But, in short, he’s bragged about a cameo on EastEnders (denied by the BBC), being arrested for espionage (reality: fraud), a sex tape (never filmed), arms dealer (he posed with a paintball marker), an interview by wife Katie on live stream on June 25th (been and gone), a boxing match in York on July 27th (he is still in prison and has a travel ban), returns to the UK (see: aforementioned travel ban), home ownership (rentals), gifts (a Ferrari “bought” for his wife who has a driving ban), adopting his wife’s five kids (he has not). And I will eat my mortar board if he has a PhD from Cambridge University.
In short, this is a man who wouldn’t know the truth if it smacked him around the hair piece.
He has hurt far too many people… must never be allowed to hurt again. Katie, if you’re reading this: get out. Now.
Last night Lee was unavailable for comment, and Katie declined to comment.
IT was 15 years ago today that the shocking news broke that Amy Winehouse had died, aged just 27.
She had released just two albums during her eight-year career, but her massive success and larger-than-life character meant her death sent shockwaves around the world — and today her impact on culture is more apparent than ever.

In music, fashion and art, she has inspired an entire generation of artists. British music is being dominated by women whose sound, style and brand is packed with references to the late superstar.
In recent weeks rapper Cardi B and actress Zendaya have been spotted dressed like Amy, with her trademark beehive hairdo.

Thank you!
And one artist who is frequently compared with Amy is Raye, who, much like the late singer, has become a celebrated industry darling, thanks to her brassy Motown influences and brutally truthful lyrics.
But Raye feels the weight of comparison more than most, and said: “I’m aware that what she did is irreplaceable and inimitable.
“Amy did it so well that no one can ever do what she did. And, God rest her soul, she gave her whole life for us to enjoy the music that she left behind.”
Like Amy, Raye went to South London creative arts academy The Brit School, whose starry former pupils also include Adele and Olivia Dean.
Raye recalled her years at the school, and how she would walk down the corridors and see photos on the wall of alumni such as Amy and say: “That’s gonna be me one day.”
Amy’s star certainly burned brightly, but all too briefly. Her body was discovered at her home in Camden, North London on July 23, 2011, by her security guard Andrew Morris.
Toxicology reports later revealed her blood alcohol content was five times the legal drink-drive limit, and the coroner’s report stated her “sudden and unexpected” death was caused by misadventure due to alcohol poisoning.
Amy had battled drug addiction for years, inspiring her 2006 single Rehab, but she had got clean from illegal substances before she died.

As a fiercely unapologetic woman in the music world, she blazed a trail for a new way to be an artist — and for future star Lola Young, who was just ten years old when Amy died, she was an inspiration.
The One Thing singer carries a gritty London identity similar to Amy’s and produces familiarly confessional lyrics.
She is even managed by Nick Shymansky, the same industry executive who guided Amy’s career during her breakout success.
After Amy, he swore he would never manage another artist, but was so won over by Lola’s talent — and subtle similarities to Amy — that he decided to take her on, and she has since sold millions of records.
When Amy found fame in the Noughties the music landscape was dominated by indie and processed pop, but she forged a new path with her neo-soul, Sixties pop and jazz sound — and now that sound is everywhere.
Olivia Dean’s easy-listening collection The Art Of Loving is on course to be the biggest-selling album in the UK this year, despite the fact it was released last September.
And even more recently, British newcomer Sienna Spiro has followed Amy with her vintage aesthetic and her breakout single Back To Blonde — mirroring Amy’s 2006 album and single Back To Black.
It is paying off, as last week Sienna shot to No2 in the charts with her debut album Visitor.
The impact of Back To Black, Amy’s second album, was felt worldwide. With classic songs such as Rehab and Tears Dry On Their Own, it became the fifth best-selling album of the 21st century so far, shifting 20million copies.
Amy sang about toxic co-dependency, addiction, dating disasters and her flaws, all in graphic detail, then wrapped them up in palatable and catchy songs.

It was all the more interesting for listeners, as her tumultuous personal life, including a rollercoaster relationship with her boyfriend and then husband Blake Fielder-Civil, and her drug use, became front-page news.
The saga taught lessons to youngsters such as future superstar Billie Eilish, who saw the tragedy unfold as she was growing up in California.
She said: “The things that inspire me about Amy are also the kind of things that are sad about it.
“You knew she wasn’t doing anything that she did for attention or in a weird, fake way because from what I gather, she didn’t really want that s**t, you know.
“It showed me that she was kind of raw for what she was creating, and she wasn’t trying to be anything she wasn’t, because she didn’t even want to be that.
“She changed a whole generation of music. Everyone, when listing off the people that inspired them, Amy Winehouse is always in that list.
“Everything about her, she just mixed a whole bunch of stuff together, and created the most beautiful things.”
And it’s not just female fellow stars who are Amy’s admirers.
Mark Ronson, who produced her Back To Black album and co-wrote the song of the same name, has credited Amy with his entire career.
Accepting the Outstanding Contribution to Music prize at February’s Brit Awards, he said his multiple chart-topping collaborations with other artists would never have happened if it wasn’t for her.

He said: “I realised on the way here that on Thursday, March 6, it’ll be 20 years to the day that Amy Winehouse came up to my studio in New York City. We went upstairs and talked for four hours and that night we wrote Back To Black, and that day changed my life for ever.”
Mark has since gone on to sell millions of records by working with superstars such as Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and Miley Cyrus.
But he added: “I know the music I made with Amy is the reason any of them know who I am anyway. That’s why I’ll always treasure her voice, her talent, our bond, all of it.” And this month The Rolling Stones have celebrated Amy’s legacy by covering her song You Know I’m No Good on new album Foreign Tongues.
Guitarist Keith Richards said: “Loved the song. Always thought that Amy was a sad story in many ways, but she was one of the best to come out of England, and probably had so much more potential.”
Such was her star power, she shared the stage with the Stones at the 2007 Isle of Wight Festival, covering the Temptations’ Ain’t Too Proud To Beg, just four years after releasing her debut album Frank.
Street artist Pegasus was a close friend of Amy’s and launched his career on the day she died.
He has since become famous for his stencilled portraits of the singer, such as his “Fallen Angel” mural near Camden Lock, close to where they used to hang out.
Pegasus, whose real name is Chris Turner, told The Sun: “Amy was one of those people who come along every so often, makes a massive impact, unfortunately isn’t around for long but leaves a lasting legacy.
Her light will always shine bright. Her unique style, her love for the greats, like Etta James, Billie Holiday and Nina Simone, introduced and inspired a generation of artists that came after her.
“I am always seeing bits of Amy everywhere and it makes me so proud.”

But he then got a cease-and-desist letter from the ’80s hitmakers, named after lead singer Jon Bon Jovi, saying the tag was too similar.
Engineering fitter Andy, of Rotherham, South Yorks, has been in the band for six years but was worried about the costs of tackling the Livin’ On A Prayer stars in court.

Andy said they claimed a tribute band name had to be at least 20 per cent different.
He said the exchange took place around three years ago and was resolved after several emails.
Andy was allowed to keep rocking Bon Jovi classics with his band – and at solo shows – under the ‘One Jovi’ name.
But he now releases his own songs under the tweaked moniker ‘Mr One Jovi’.
Andy insists it has not soured his love for the band, whose music he first discovered as a teenager.
He said: “It didn’t affect the way I feel about them.
“I remember listening to them when I was 14 and just absolutely loving it.”
Andy is now stepping out of Jon Bon Jovi’s shadow and chasing chart success with original music of his own.
JADE Thirlwall has split from Jordan Stephens after six years as a couple.

But The Sun has learned they separated earlier this year, although are still close.
A source said: “Jade and Jordan had a very serious and loving relationship but recently they have had some frank discussions about their future and have decided to separate.

“It’s not been an easy time but they’ve both been throwing themselves into work.
“Their friends adore them as a couple and are really hoping they get back together but it’s still very raw at the moment.”
They have also not been photographed together for several months – with their last red carpet appearance as a couple being at February’s Brit Awards where they partied until the early hours.
Neither have posted about each other on Instagram since mid-March, and Jordan recently wiped all of the TikTok videos they made together from his profile.
When asked in June about progress on her second album, she hinted at her heartache.
She told The Fader: “I’m just writing stuff. Whatever I’m going through at the minute, like privately, I’m sort of putting pen to paper.
“I think this is the exciting phase or the experimental phase, where you don’t know what it’s going to be yet.”

The Sun first revealed they were dating in 2020 after they went on a series of socially distanced walks during the Covid lockdowns.
The Shout Out To My Ex singer said she “slid into his DMs” after a friend suggested they would be a good match, and they had dates on video call.
She explained: “It was through a friend. I slid in the DMs. I’d been doing this for quite a while. I kept getting pied left, right and centre.
“Jordan and I did a few Zoom dates in lockdown. We made a joke and said it was business and put suits and ties on and asked each other questions. I did the full shebang, a full suit.
“Then we had a socially distanced date in Greenwich park, apart from each other just chatting.”
Jordan recently took over as co-host of the popular Miss Me? podcast with Miquita Oliver, replacingLily Allen.
Fans had noticed he hasn’t spoken about Jade on the podcast for several weeks.
He had a successful career as one half of pop duo Rizzle Kicks from 2008 to 2016 before relaunching the group in 2024.
As a musician, Jordan also worked on her debut album That’s Showbiz Baby! which was released last year.
Jade said at the time: “I actually really didn’t want to date a musician. I’d done it previously; it never works out well. But it’s amazing now. We write together.
“He’s on my album; I’m on his. Jordan’s on the backing vocals for Headache.”
She is currently on a festival tour which will see her spend August travelling across America, Japan, Ireland and the UK.

The alarm was first raised during an attack on July 16 by a concerned neighbour who heard screams of agony as the Pocket Bully, Pablo, gripped onto Jackiey, 68, leaving her requiring medical treatment. The fire brigade was also called out.
But just four days later the dog struck again, in a more severe attack. Freddy had returned to help his frantic gran before he, too, was launched upon by Pablo.

There are now questions over whether the dog could face questions over safety – following a growing concern over illegally bred dogs including the now infamous XL Bully which has since been outlawed – and is a similar sort of animal to Freddy’s.

SHAKIRA’S performance at the Super Bowl 2020 halftime show was plagued by backstage tensions with her Latina co-star Jennifer Lopez.
But today, the South American She Wolf singer is howling with delight as she dominates music charts around the world following a show-stopping performance at the World Cup Final.
Shakira was paid an eye-watering £15million for her incredible World Cup performanceCredit: The Mega AgencyThe Colombian popstar, who burst onto the scene in the nineties alongside J-Lo, was watched by 1.5billion viewersCredit: Getty
Colombian beauty Shakira, 49, pulled off the ultimate performance, wowing 1.5billion global viewers at Sunday’s mega gig.
The mum-of-two, who is worth £224million, celebrated her success by sharing snaps of herself with Beyonce, Jay Z, David Beckham, BTS, Tom Cruise and Anya Taylor-Joy.
Elsewhere, her rival J-Lo was left washing away her woes after she was pictured in a bathtub on a day out with her sister.
It came after she sang at an intimate gig for Dolce and Gabbana in Sicily last week — a much less extravagant showcase than Shakira’s.
Insiders say J-Lo was licking her wounds after being desperate to land the World Cup gig herself, 12 years on from her stellar performance at the 2014 tournament in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
To add insult to injury, her latest movie, Kiss Of The Spider Woman, was branded a box office flop.
As one music insider said: “J-Lo practically dismissed Shakira as some sort of backup singer at the Super Bowl, but how the tables have turned.
“Naturally J-Lo would have loved her chance to shine on the world stage again.”
Rumblings of a feud between the pair first began in February 2020.
The American football body, the NFL, had booked Shakira and J-Lo to co-headline the prestigious Super Bowl half-time show, a slot that has attracted the likes of Michael Jackson, Prince and Beyonce.
Fans went wild for Shakira as she sang hits including Whenever, Wherever and Hips Don’t Lie, and J-Lo belted out her bangers On The Floor and Love Don’t Cost A Thing.
The critics lapped it up, calling the concert “electric” and the “sexiest half-time show in memory”.
But behind closed doors, Jennifer, 56, was said to be unhappy that she had to share the stage.
In her 2022 Netflix documentary Halftime, a furious J-Lo raged behind the scenes. She blasted the joint performance as “the worst idea in the world”, with her manager Benny Medina adding: “It was an insult to say you needed two Latinas to do the job that one artist historically has done.”
Shakira celebrated her World Cup triumph with selfies with stars including David BeckhamCredit: InstagramBeyonce and Jay-Z even wanted a selfie with ShakiraCredit: Instagram
J-Lo made it very clear she felt she had deserved the 12-minute slot to herself.
Fans also spotted a difference in how the artists shared promotional photos on Facebook in the weeks before the event.
While Shakira’s snaps featured both Latina artists, J-Lo’s were of herself.
Despite J-Lo’s very public comments, her rival has been more discreet, though she has hinted at tensions. Shakira, who released her first album aged 14, confessed: “It wasn’t an easy show to put together.
“There was a lot of work behind it, a lot of stress. But it was one of the highlights of my career.”
Fast forward to now and the tables have turned for the stars, who both burst on to the pop scene in the mid-Nineties.
Shakira’s infectious World Cup anthem with Burna Boy, Dai Dai, has taken the world by storm, triggering a chart frenzy the likes of which J-Lo has not experienced since 2011 when On The Floor — her collaboration with Pitbull — went to No1.
Minutes after her hip-shaking performance of the track at the World Cup Final, it was riding high at the top of Spotify’s chart, handing the star her biggest streaming day ever — and the biggest streaming day in US Spotifyhistory to boot.

Shakira has pledged to donate all royalties from Dai Dai to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
A music insider said: “Shakira’s numbers are astronomical. She is dominating every single music chart on Earth. It’s quite the achievement for any artist, never mind one who turns 50 next year.”
What’s more, the singer’s phenomenally successful Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran (Women No Longer Cry) tour was officially 2025’s highest-grossing global trek and the most lucrative tour of all time by a Hispanic artist.
To top off her reign, Shakira is heading back to Europe this autumn for a 12-arena residency across September and October in Madrid.
It will be at a brand new, specially built venue dubbed the Shakira Stadium.
An insider added: “Having a literal stadium built in your name in Spain is one hell of a mic drop. You can’t buy that kind of triumph.”
It has been a different story for J-Lo, who was forced to cancel her This Is Me . . . Live tour in 2024 amid reports of weak ticket sales.
She said in a statement she was “heartsick and devastated”.

What makes this triumph even sweeter for Shakira is it was born from the ashes of heartache. Both stars have endured devastating public splits.
Spanish media reported she discovered his infidelity when she returned to their Barcelona mansion and noticed someone had been eating her strawberry jam — a spread that her hubby loathed.
Instead of moping, Shakira — who has sons Milan, 13, and Sasha, 11, with her ex — marched straight into the recording studio.
She teamed up with Argentine producer Bizarrap to release a ruthless diss track that mercilessly mocked Pique and his new, girlfriend, Clara Chía Marti, who was in her early twenties at the time.
In an obvious dig, she sang: “I’m worth two 22s. You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo. You traded a Rolex for a Casio.”
Shakira also proudly declared in the lyrics: “Women don’t cry any more, they cash in.”
J-Lo and Ben rekindled her early noughties flame but it sadly ended in divorce againCredit: GettyIn 2022, Shakira’s 11-year relationship with Spanish football legend Gerard Piqué, 39, came crashing downCredit: Getty
And cash in she did. The song shattered several GuinnessWorld Records, rocketed her career to new heights and proved that hell hath no fury like a Colombian pop goddess scorned.
J-Lo, took a different approach. After three failed marriages — to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd and Marc Anthony — with whom she has 18-year-old twins Max and Emme — J-Lo rekindled her early Noughties romance with ex-fiancé Ben Affleck in 2021.
Bennifer 2.0 tied the knot in 2022, and Jen became so hopelessly obsessed with their “fairytale” that she self- funded a cringe-inducing, £15million musical film, This Is Me . . . Now: A Love Story.
J-Lo’s recent cinematic efforts have not fared any better.
While she was once the undisputed queen of the romcom, with movie hits including The Wedding Planner and Maid In Manhattan, her recent films have failed to set the box office alight. In fact, 2024 sci-fi flick Atlas was widely panned, while last year’s Kiss Of The Spider Woman lost millions, leaving Hollywood insiders questioning J-Lo’s bankability.
Even a recent return to romcom in Netflix’s Office Romance scored a measly 49 per cent on movie review website Rotten Tomatoes.
While recent professional endeavours may have struggled, J-Lo is the ultimate comeback queen.
And her £300million business empire, including the booming JLo Beauty line, proves she is a formidable force.
So while Shakira is enjoying global adoration, it would perhaps be foolish to write J-Lo out of Hollywood quite yet.
ECO-conscious pop superstar Ed Sheeran has installed a £20,000 root cellar in his sprawling mansion’s garden.
The singer, 35, has set up the trendy structure near his vegetable patch to keep the produce cool.

The cellar is partially dug into the earth and covered by an earth mound for insulation — making it look like a Hobbit hole from Tolkien’s fantasy tales.
It uses the earth’s natural insulating qualities to keep contents at a cool 8C to 15C without electricity and can be used to store veg, cheese and wine.

The cellars, which can hold 3,000 litres, are a growing trend among celebrities, including US actress Jennifer Garner. Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow also had the high-end Groundfridge on her Goop brand’s gift guide.
Ed’s model features solarpowered ventilation and lights up when opened, just like a fridge. It costs £15,500 plus installation fees.
JESY Nelson says she “can’t stop crying” over her “bittersweet” victory to test all babies in England with SMA – knowing it came too late for her twin daughters.
The groundbreaking rule change comes as the former Little Mix star faces fresh heartache over her one-year-old kids, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, whose latest test results sparked concern following treatment for the muscle-wasting disease.

It’s feared the girls will never be able to walk after a late diagnosis of the life-threatening condition Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1.
In her new Prime Video show, Jesy Nelson: Life Changing, the singer breaks down in tears over the guilt she carries and worries her children will blame her, when they’re older, for not spotting the signs sooner.

Jesy told The Sun: “I know it’s not my fault, but when I watch back videos of when I brought them home and they were kicking their legs, I realise now that over the course of a month, they just stopped.
“That’s the part where the guilt kicks in because I don’t understand how I didn’t see that. Why didn’t I spot that?
“But when I left the neonatal ward, I was constantly told to check their temperature, make sure you’re monitoring their breathing and there was so much other stuff that I was looking out for because they were premature babies.
“I just honestly didn’t focus on the movement of their legs.
“Thank God for my mum, because God knows what position I would have been in if she hadn’t spotted it.
“That will probably never leave me. I’ll be honest, I don’t think it ever will. But I really hope as they get older, they understand how flipping amazing they are because they are the most resilient little girls I’ve ever known.

“I’m literally in awe of them. Even with what they have to endure every day, they are the happiest babies.”
At Ocean and Story’s most recent three-month review at St Ormond Street’s Children’s Hospital, doctors warned Jesy the girls were not responding to treatment the way they had hoped.
She said: “Unfortunately, some of the numbers have gone down. We had a long discussion and there’s a possibility they may have to go back on treatment, which is just heartbreaking.
“I constantly battle between manifesting they’re going to defy the odds and trying to come to accept that that may not happen.
“It’s a really weird position to be in because you you think ‘well, if that doesn’t happen, am I just going to feel heartbroken for the rest of my life?’
“Then you worry, if I accept it, am I also manifesting that?”
She added: “I don’t ever want them to feel any less than or feel like it defines them. I really want them to know how special they are.
“I want this to be their little superpower.”
Speaking candidly, Jesy admits the success of her campaign for a breakthrough rule change – adding screening for spinal muscular atrophy to the NHS‘s newborn blood spot test – was a tough pill to swallow.
Every year 50 babies born with the condition will now find out they carry the genetic condition at birth. It means they can be given treatment before nerves and muscles are damaged beyond repair.
Jesy said: “I’ve not stopped crying, I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I just keep going through waves of emotions. I’ve had an outpouring of messages from families within the SMA community.
“It’s just a real weird one because obviously there’s a lot of mixed emotions. I think for people dealing with children that have got SMA, who got diagnosed too late, feel it’s almost a bit bittersweet.

“It’s a tough pill to swallow to know that, yes, this change is amazing and I really don’t want to take anything away from it, but if only this had been here for our children.
“It’s just sad because so many families have campaigned about this for years.
“So yeah I’ve going through a real mix of emotions, but ultimately I am super proud. I’m ridiculously proud and cannot wait until our children are old enough to tell them they’ve played a massive part in change.”
Her new Prime Video doc is released on Friday, July 17.
The 60-minute episode shows the moment Jesy finds out her daughters’ diagnosis and her grit and determination to launch her campaign.
While a phased rollout will begin in October 2026, Jesy’s fight continues to raise awareness of the condition because the screening won’t be available in other parts of the UK.
“I hope as many people as possible see the documentary because I wanted to raise as much awareness as I could about it and the signs to look out for.
“As amazing as the rollout is, Northern Ireland and Wales are still not part of the heel-prick test, meaning many babies will still be undiagnosed and not treated in time.
“I’m just praying that if they watch this documentary, they will spot the signs early enough, take them to the doctor and get them treatment.”
Jesy Nelson: Life Changing will be available exclusively on Prime Video on July 17.
Spinal Muscular Atrophy: Signs and symptoms
Spinal muscular atrophy is a disease which takes away a persons strength and it causes problems by disrupting the motor nerve cells in the spinal cord.
This causes an individual to lose the ability to walk, eat and breathe.
There are four types of SMA – which are based on age.
Type 1 is diagnosed within the first six months of life and is usually fatal.
Type 2 is diagnosed after six months of age.
Type 3 is diagnosed after 18 months of age and may require the individual to use a wheelchair.
Type 4 is the rarest form of SMA and usually only surfaces in adulthood.
What are the symptoms?
The symptoms of SMA will depend on which type of condition you have.
But the following are the most common symptoms:
• Floppy or weak arms and legs
• Movement problems – such as difficulty sitting up, crawling or walking
• Twitching or shaking muscles
• Bone and joint problems – such as an unusually curved spine
• Swallowing problems
• Breathing difficulties
However, SMA does not affect a person’s intelligence and it does not cause learning disabilities.
How common is it?
The majority of the time a child can only be born with the condition if both of their parents have a fault gene which causes SMA.
Usually, the parent would not have the condition themselves – they would only act as a carrier.
Statistics show around 1 in every 40 to 60 people is a carrier of the gene which can cause SMA.
If two parents carry the faulty gene there is a 1 in 4 (25 per cent) chance their child will get Spinal muscular atrophy.

Speaking about Mending: Busted, Breaking and Getting Better, out on October 8, Matt said: “For a long time, I wasn’t sure I’d ever be able to tell this story, or even if I should.
“But over the last few years, I’ve realised that talking honestly about addiction, recovery, family and everything I’ve learned along the way might help someone else.

“This isn’t a book about having all the answers. I definitely don’t.
“It’s about learning that recovery isn’t a finish line, life doesn’t suddenly become perfect, and that we’re all still figuring things out as we go.
“Writing it has been one of the hardest and most rewarding things I’ve ever done, and I honestly can’t wait for you to read it.”
Just four weeks before his marriage to Emma Willis in 2008, Matt checked into rehab, and despite a relapse in 2016, he’s now been sober for almost nine years.
He’s a brave man, and I’m looking forward to reading his book.

WANT A BLUE PETER BADGE LIKE HARRY? YOU JUST HAVE TO ASK

HARRY STYLES said it was one of his proudest achievements when he was given a Gold Blue Peter Badge to mark his record-breaking run of 12 shows at Wembley .
But I can reveal that the Beeb has now resorted to giving the famous accolade away on freebie websites in a desperate bid to keep the younger generation tuning in.
Once a prized possession, Blue Peter badges used to be given out strictly on merit.
However, an online listing reads: “The BBC are giving away free Blue Peter badges to anyone aged between five and 15.
“The badge allows you to gain free entry to over 200 attractions. Just send Blue Peter a letter explaining why you’d like one. That’s all.”
I understand it’s a sign of the times, but it seems a bit bleak to give it away for next to nothing.
BRITAIN’S Got Talent winner Sydnie Christmas joined American legend Gloria Gaynor for an unlikely collaboration on her 1979 hit I Will Survive at Boogie- town Festival in Surrey at the weekend.
Sydnie said: “I didn’t want it to end. Her love and passion consumes you.
“In that moment, nothing else mattered but the love of music.”
PUB MICK: IT’S CRAWL OVER NOW

The global rock icon, whose band The Rolling Stones are on course for their 15th No1 album on Friday with Foreign Tongues, joined an Irish folk group at The Half Moon pub where he sang Handsome Molly with them.
Explaining how it happened, he told the Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend podcast: “I had dinner at an Oxford college and then one of the students who I was talking with said, ‘I play mandolin. I’m going down the road to play with an Irish band. Do you want to come?’.
“I said, ‘Sure’, and I took a couple of people I was with and the provost of the college, who took his gown off.
“The band was doing fiddle pieces and the guy joined in with his mandolin, but no one was singing so I thought, ‘Well, here’s an opening. This is my chance for pub crawl singing’.”
I don’t think you’ll ever have to revert to that, Mick.
Kerry’s all gold

The actress wore this quirky metallic gown at the opening of stage production The Whoopi Monologues in New York.
Things really are going swimmingly for US star Kerry, who appears in the show penned by Sister Act’s Whoopi Goldberg.
The one-woman comedy turn debuted on Broadway in 1984, starring Whoopi herself, pictured with Kerry at the opening.
Speaking on US TV’s The View about the original hit, Kerry said: “Whoopi has been such a groundbreaker – a trailblazer and an inspiration for so many of us.
“Throughout my career, this show became a bonding place with other actresses. I would meet them and we would talk about how it impacted us and our idea of what was possible.”

IRON MAIDEN have sold a stake in their publishing and master music rights, name and image to the Pophouse Entertainment company run by Abba’s Bjorn Ulvaeus, with massive plans to expand their legacy.
The big-money deal with Bruce Dickinson and the group was announced yesterday and comes after the firm partnered with other acts including Tina Turner and Kiss.
It will mean the band can pursue new creative ventures, including the filming of their Run For Your Lives tour for a “major cinematic project” as well as “developing a digital universe centered around” their mascot Eddie.
It’s exciting news for fans of the band, given Pophouse is the founding investor in Abba Voyage.
Perhaps Iron Maiden will be returning to a stage, in digital form, soon.
