‘Masterpiece’ series deemed so good viewers binge all episodes and start again

The drama series has been labelled the “greatest TV show of all time” and viewers simply can’t get enough as they binge all the episodes, only to start from the beginning again

Tracking down a new TV series to watch isn’t always straightforward. It largely comes down to your preferred genre, but thanks to streaming platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime, there tends to be a fresh release practically every week.

Now viewers are claiming this drama series is so brilliant they’re watching it from beginning to end, then starting it all over again. Someone took to Reddit pleading for a TV show that is ’10/10 from start to finish’. They said: “Like a show where every single season is perfect and there are literally zero skippable episodes. For me it’s honestly Stranger Things, the vibe and the soundtrack just never get old. I’m actually rewatching it right now these days to be honest. What show is an absolute masterpiece in your opinion? Looking for something new to binge watch.”

While plenty of suggestions were put forward, scores of people couldn’t help but rave about Chernobyl.

When somebody brought up the drama series, one viewer chimed in: “Couldn’t agree more. It’s in my top 10 and possibly the greatest ever.” Another added: “Literally came here to say exactly this.”

A third person posted: “Watched it a few days ago – I binged the entire mini-series in one go and the only thing I could think when it finished was ‘Freaking AWESOME series… I want to watch it again’.”

Where to Stream Chernobyl 2019 and Inside the Meltdown Documentary Series

Chernobyl is a historical drama TV mini-series which revolves around the disaster of 1986. First launched in 2019, this version, which has been labelled the “greatest TV shows of all time” on numerous occasions, boasts a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an impressive 9.3 out of 10 stars on IMDb.

Upon its release, it garnered widespread critical praise for its performances, historical accuracy, atmosphere, tone, screenplay, cinematography, and musical score.

This year meanwhile, Chernobyl: Inside the Meltdown arrived as a TV mini-series featuring survivors speaking publicly for the very first time.

It chronicles the nuclear power plant catastrophe, the Soviet cover-up and present-day consequences as it interweaves with the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

The 2019 series, starring Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsgard, and Emily Watson, is available to stream on NOW TV. In April, the multi-BAFTA winning production was made free-to-air on Sky Mix and Sky Atlantic to commemorate 40 years since the disaster.

Chernobyl: Inside the Meltdown, released in 2026, can be streamed on Disney Plus. Further series exploring the disaster are also available, including the documentary What Happened on Chernobyl, which can be found on BBC iPlayer.

But for her latest holiday, the former Towie hunk didn’t join his new girlfriend.

Soaking up the sun, Olivia showed off her enviable figure in the tiny bikini.

The plunging two piece also revealed her long legs and toned tum.

Then in March, following her marriage split, Olivia admitted she was trying to move on from her ex-husband.

“Yes, I’m dating,” wrote Olivia.

“Yes, I’m getting up every single day even when I have cried all night to film the shows I love filming, record my podcast, record my radio show, shoot campaigns and somewhere in there TRY to move on.”

Since then, Pete and Olivia haven’t been able to keep their hands off each other.

The smitten couple were recently spotted snogging in Saint-Tropez.

The pair are yet to officially confirm their romance, but have been snapped out on several cosy dates.

Olivia’s new romance came straight off the back of her painful split from Bradley, with Olivia accusing him of “cheating”.

The former couple first met in 2015, dated for three months, and then went their separate ways.

Olivia then went on Love Island in 2017, met Chris Hughes, 32, but they soon split, and Liv reunited with Bradley.

The footy star proposed two years later, and they tied the knot in 2023.

Meanwhile, Pete is famous for his Lothario reputation and has dated a string of beauties – including Maura Higgins, 35, Megan McKenna, 33, and Chloe Sims, 44.

Vogue Williams admits ‘one of the worst’ parenting decisions live on Loose Women

Vogue Williams appeared as a guest panellist on Loose Women on Monday, where she made a candid admission

Vogue Williams made a candid confession during the latest instalment of Loose Women.

The 40-year-old Irish TV personality appeared as a guest panellist on the ITV daytime show on Monday (July 6), joining Charlene White, Coleen Nolan, and Jane Moore.

The panel swiftly turned their focus to England’s FIFA World Cup victory over Mexico in the early hours of the morning. Jude Bellingham scored twice in 98 seconds to put England ahead, before Julian Quinones pulled one back for Mexico just three minutes before the break.

The drama continued, as Jarell Quansah was shown a red card after 54 minutes for a high challenge on Jesus Gallardo, with both sides subsequently converting a penalty each.

While chatting about the match, Vogue confessed that she and her husband, Spencer Matthews, had made “one of the worst” parenting decisions that morning, reports the Irish Mirror.

She said: “I did not stay up but my husband decided to watch it with the kids this morning and it was not as harmonious as your house [talking to Charlene].

“One of the worst decisions we’ve ever made, because we have such small ones and they all get a turn. So, my son was throwing a wobbly that he hadn’t had his turn on the TV while they’re trying to watch it. So, it wasn’t great this morning actually.”

While Vogue found watching the match with her young children, Theodore, Gigi and Otto, rather testing, Charlene had quite a contrasting experience with her eight-year-old son, Alfie.

“We were all very excited about it so Alfie wanted to stay up and [I was like], ‘Absolutely not, you’re eight years old,'” she explained.

“But what we did is he woke up at six so he could watch the whole thing, [and] if there was loads of extra time and penalties, he would have time to watch that before going to school. So, all phones were off. The TV was definitely on iPlayer to make sure they definitely didn’t suddenly see the result, and he was really excited on the sofa at 6am.”

Meanwhile, Coleen revealed that she had attempted to stay up until 1am, but drifted back off to sleep upon discovering the match had been pushed back by an hour.

“I thought, ‘I can’t do it,’ so I kind of fell back to sleep,” she said, before disclosing that she had watched the entire second half.

“They were just unbelievable… It was so exciting, what a match,” she added.

Elsewhere in the episode, the stars opened up about the difficulties they’ve encountered after their children flew the nest for the first time, with Vogue expressing her anxiety about the prospect of her own kids eventually being old enough to move out.

“Even the thought of them going is just heartbreaking to me. I want to be the mum with the house that everyone wants to come to and they all want to spend time with us,” she said.

Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 12.30pm

Amy, who was on MAFS in 2024, has been documenting the whole process by filming herself both before and after the surgery.

On Day 2 of her recovery, Amy took to TikTok and exclaimed: “OMG, I’ve woke up this morning and I literally can’t go for breakfast looking like this. What am I gonna do guys?”

In the video, Amy jokingly tried on various disguises as she tried to limit how bad she looked.

Then with her hoodie and dark sunglasses hiding some of her face, she made her way down to breakfast.

BBC Gardeners’ World Adam Frost details garden refusal ‘I couldn’t do it’

Gardeners’ World star Adam Frost has been a familiar face on the BBC show for years, but there is one garden design request he simply can’t bring himself to carry out.

Adam Frost has disclosed he knocked back one individual’s gardening request.

BBC favourite Adam Frost, who has featured on Gardeners’ World since 2016, revealed there’s one peculiar item he cannot stand in people’s outdoor areas.

Making an appearance on the most recent instalment of Sunday Brunch (July 5), he chatted with Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer regarding his new podcast alongside Caitlin Moran.

Yet during their chat, Tim pointed out that Adam harbours a loathing for outdoor chess boards, with the BBC presenter confirming this.

He responded: “The massive, plastic chess sets. You go to a hotel, or even people put them in their garden!”

“They pave a huge area, and they have these plastic chess pieces that slowly change colour. Really, kids just use them to attack each other.

“If you want to play chess in your garden, buy a board, a set, take it out into the garden around a table with a nice drink. Civilised. Don’t do that plastic, no.”

While Tim suggested it’s an ‘immersive experience’ having the pieces exceptionally oversized, Adam was swift to dismiss this, reports the Express.

He continued: “That’s not immersive! How is that immersive? No. It’s a complete and utter waste of space.”

When swimmer Mark Foster queried whether it might resemble a form of artwork in a garden, Adam appeared utterly bewildered by the notion.

The Gardeners’ World presenter went on: “I can remember, first doing a landscape job very early on when I had a small landscape company and someone wanted me to lay a checkerboard paving pattern in their back garden.

“I refused, very politely. I just couldn’t do it. It’s just a no.”

This follows Adam’s candid reflections on the bittersweet nature of relocating, which took place towards the end of last year.

The BBC presenter recently returned to his previous home, which has since been taken over by a new couple.

Adam described the conflicting feelings that come with leaving behind a cherished garden as he said: ” I walked around with them [the new couple] and they are absolutely loving it.

“And I think that’s a great thing to hold on to, is the fact that maybe you’ve just left somebody else a whole load of joy.”

Sunday Brunch airs on Sundays on Channel 4 from 10am.

‘Seductive’ Netflix drama based on bestseller to star James Bond hopeful

Call Me by Your Name fans need to watch this “sexy” upcoming Netflix drama.

A “magnificent and sexy” Netflix drama is poised to star two Hollywood icons.

Book and film fans were captivated by Andre Aciman’s Call Me By Your Name, and now another of his bestselling novels is being transformed for television.

Aciman’s 2017 work Enigma Variations centres on “Paul, a man remade by the lovers who ignite and undo him across six transformative years”.

Netflix further describes it as an “intimate yet sweeping portrait of masculinity, sexuality and modern love.

“And in a world of endless choices, it asks the question: will we know when we’ve found the one?”

Taking the lead role as Paul is none other than Aaron Taylor-Johnson, renowned for 28 Years Later, Kicka**, Nosferatu and Nocturnal Animals.

Taylor-Johnson has also remained consistently amongst the bookmakers’ top picks to be cast as the next James Bond, alongside other contenders such as Callum Turner and Jacob Elordi.

He’ll be appearing opposite Alicia Vikander, celebrated for The Danish Girl and Tomb Raider, who plays Claire, one of Paul’s principal love interests throughout this period.

An official launch date hasn’t been revealed yet, but the Netflix adaptation is anticipated to mirror the books by being set across multiple locations including Italy, New York and New England.

Enigma Variations was hailed as a “magnificent living thing” by The New York Times Book Review, which added that “Aciman writes arousal so beautifully”.

The book has also garnered enormous praise from readers, with one commenting on Good Reads: “This book is staggeringly beautiful. Powerfully emotional, haunting, frank in its sexuality and its romanticism, this is a book about love, infatuation, longing, and lust.”

Another agreed that the “book blew me away”, while a third added: “Evocative, poetic and hopelessly romantic, Andre Aciman has written a cerebral narrative of love undefined.”

Actress playing convicted murderer Tracie Andrews wants to confront her on TV

EXCLUSIVE: Former Hollyoaks star Emma Rigby says she’d like to ‘sit down’ with Andrews and discover what she is willing to admit to, 30 years after the crime

The actress who plays Tracie Andrews in a new drama about the 1996 “road rage” killing of her fiancé Lee Harvey has revealed her desire to interview the convicted murderer about what really happened.

Emma Rigby, best known for her role as Hannah Ashworth in Hollyoaks, said: “I would love to make a documentary following a sit down between the two of us. I have so many questions for her. She has never told the truth on camera, it would be interesting to see what story she would tell now.”

Emma, who also starred in BBC1’s Prisoners’ Wives, was seven years old at the time of Lee’s death and knew nothing about the case before being approached for the role. To prepare, she watched many documentaries and read the book Pure Evil by Lee’s mother Maureen., played in the drama by The Witcher’s Jo Marriott.

An “avid consumer of true crime”, Emma she found Andrews’ psychology to be “fascinating” – but struggled to find one iota of sympathy for her. “The most chilling moments are when we used transcripts of what Tracie actually said,” she explained. “Her tone is terrifying and her lack of remorse is extremely sad. Tracie is the very definition of chilling. Her behaviour is shockingly unbelievable.”

The 90-minute drama, Suspect: The Road Rage Killer, will show how Tracie, then 27, was so desperate to find fame as a model, that she enjoyed being centre of attention at the press conference – even though she would quickly expose herself as a suspect rather than a witness.

“Tracie has many facets, her wanting to be on camera was one of them,” Emma says. “It was important to show how Tracie’s demise was essentially giving the camera too much.”

She said that playing her meant getting right into her head, where she found no redeeming features. “I can believe that in her way she loved Lee, and relate to a toxic situation masquerading as an all-consuming love, but this does not extend to sympathy for her actions,” Emma said. “The more I consumed, the more horrified I became. Each new detail that emerged was more shocking than the last, it makes for a gripping drama.”

Thirty years ago, Andrews was found covered in blood next to the body of her fiance Lee on a dark country lane near to their home in Alvechurch, Worcestershire. She was later found to have stabbed him in the neck and chest 42 times during an argument as they drove home from a local pub. The crime was pre-meditated, as she had hidden a knife inside her boot.

Having murdered the man she was due to marry, Andrews concocted a story about a road rage incident and said that Lee had been killed by a man in another car with “starey eyes”. But this unravelled when she contradicted statements she’d already made at the televised press conference.

The actress has struggled to understand how Andrews can have launched such a frenzied attack on bus-driver Lee, 25, who she claimed to adore. “I can believe that in her way she loved Lee, and relate to a toxic situation masquerading as an all-consuming love, but this does not extend to sympathy for her actions,” Emma said.

After being given a life sentence for murder, Andrews served the minimum 14 years before being released in 2011. Now living under the name Jenna Stephens in a southern coastal town, she married bouncer and dad-of-two Phil Goldsworthy in 2017. Two years after she was jailed Andrews, who had a history of violent attacks on her partner, admitted to killing Lee, but insisted it was done in self-defence.

Emma, 36, said it was shocking how little remorse Andrews showed over what she had done. “The key element is Tracie’s apathy – which is offset by her complete conviction to come out on top, whatever the cost.”

The actress said she’d loved getting her teeth into the meaty role, and hopes it will lead to more challenging parts being offered to her. “I hope it will reveal a whole new dimension to what I can do,” she said. “Tracie is my first onscreen role playing a real person and is someone many people are familiar with, due to the iconic press conference. I wanted to give a raw and very real performance,” she explained. “As an actor I had the most enjoyable time playing Tracie; I really loved the grit.”

‘Mesmerising’ period drama on BBC iPlayer fans say is ‘exquisite’

An ‘exquisite’ period romance adaptation is available for free on BBC iPlayer and fans say it’s the best version of this classic tale

The iconic tome has been adapted many times over the years – could this be the best?

BBC iPlayer is currently hosting a “masterpiece” adaptation of a much-loved classic novel, available for just one more month. Having aired on Sunday 5th July on BBC Two, the 1943 adaptation of Charlotte Brontë’s Jane Eyre can be streamed on the platform for the next 29 days.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest novels ever penned, this enduring story follows a young woman who, after losing her parents at an early age, is dispatched to a harsh boarding school. A decade on, she takes up a position as a governess to a young girl, the ward of the mysterious and imposing master of Thornfield Hall.

Little by little, she finds herself falling for her unpredictable employer, all while beginning to unravel his deeply buried secrets.

Helmed by Robert Stevenson, best known for directing Disney’s much-cherished Mary Poppins, this underappreciated Gothic romance from Hollywood’s golden age features Joan Fontaine as Jane and Orson Welles as Mr Rochester.

Film enthusiasts have long maintained that it stands amongst the finest screen adaptations of Brontë’s novel ever committed to film. It’s an absolute must for viewers who have lapped up recent period romances such as Wuthering Heights and The Other Bennet Sister, or are eagerly anticipating the forthcoming versions of Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice, reports the Express.

One glowing 10/10 review from an IMDb user declared that, while other renditions of Jane Eyre are equally stunning, fans should “see this to be fully satisfied”.

“This is simply an exquisite film,” they continued. “Film-making at its best in every respect; and while not as letter-perfectly definitive as the 1983 miniseries, I feel it is overall the best, truest version of JANE EYRE.”

Another film enthusiast commented: “While not staying completely true to the book, this is still the best version of Jane Eyre ever made.

“Joan Fontaine is plain but still beautiful and Orson Welles is absolutely powerful and alluring. The chemistry these two share is on screen phenomenal.”

As if that weren’t sufficient, they added: “The scene where they kiss is the most powerful and most beautiful kiss I have ever seen.”

Someone else declared it “A masterpiece!” and wrote: “Magnificent is the only word that can be applied to this remarkable film. It represents Hollywood’s ability to make the occasional brilliant movie when all aspects of the film-making craft come together in such talented union.

“I first saw this film as a very young child, and it gripped and enthralled me then as it still does all these years later. Romantic, gothic and mesmerising, it is as near faultless as it is possible for any movie to be.”

And one final admirer went even further, gushing: “In my opinion, this is the best movie ever made. It’s sweet and romantic, and true to the book. Joan Fontaine is great as the title role, and I think this is Orson Welles in his finest performance.”

Period drama enthusiasts should make certain this gem is at the top of their watchlist before it ceases to be available free of charge at the month’s end.

Jane Eyre is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.

‘Minions & Monsters’ tops the box office with lower-than-expected haul

The Minions took over theaters this weekend as Universal Pictures and Illumination’s “Minions & Monsters” won the top spot at the box office, though with a lower-than-expected domestic haul.

The animated movie, which follows the Minions’ takeover of Hollywood, took in $61.4 million in the U.S. and Canada for the five-day Fourth of July holiday weekend, according to studio estimates. That haul was lower than analysts’ expectations for a domestic opening of about $68 million. The movie’s three-day total was $36.4 million.

But the Minions performed well internationally, bringing in about $85 million. In total, “Minions & Monsters” made $159.9 million worldwide on a production budget of about $85 million.

The film is the latest in the powerhouse franchise that began with “Despicable Me” in 2010. Across its previous six installments, the “Despicable Me” and “Minions” franchise has made more than $5.6 billion at the global box office. The last movie, 2022’s “Minions: The Rise of Gru,” made more than $940 million worldwide.

“Minions & Monsters” marks the lowest opening for the franchise. Part of the issue could be timing — the box office can be negatively affected when the Fourth of July lands on a Saturday, said Paul Dergarabedian, head of marketplace trends at Rentrak.

Walt Disney Co. and Pixar’s “Toy Story 5” came in second at the box office this weekend with a domestic three-day gross of $31 million. Angel Studios’ biopic “Young Washington” ($20.8 million), Warner Bros. and DC Studios’ “Supergirl” ($9.6 million) and Universal’s “Disclosure Day” ($6 million) rounded out the top five, according to Rentrak.

The haul for “Minions & Monsters,” coupled with the strong holdover performance of “Toy Story 5,” proved again that family films are making a dent in the summer box office.

“Toy Story 5” has now brought in a total of $764.3 million worldwide, and last month, Universal, Illumination and Nintendo’s “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” crossed $1 billion at the global box office, becoming the first film of any kind to do so this year.

The rest of the summer theatrical lineup is also expected to bring in audiences and push domestic box office totals closer to pre-pandemic figures. Next week, Disney will release its live-action “Moana,” followed by Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” and Sony Pictures’ “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”

To date, the summer box office is now about $2.3 billion, a nearly 12% increase compared with the same period a year ago, according to Rentrak data. Compared with pre-pandemic 2019’s numbers, however, it is still down about 7%.

TV’s Gary Stevenson sets out plan to tax the super rich in new Channel 4 show

The trader-turned-campaigner argues that drastic steps need to be taken to close the UK’s huge wealth gap

Millionaire trader-turned-inequality campaigner Gary Stevenson is proposing a 2% annual tax on all those who have wealth above £10million in the UK.

The TV presenter will set out his argument in a Channel 4 programme in which he explores the growing concentration of wealth in Britain. He says that the UK’s poorest billionaire, with a wealth of just £1billion, makes £50 million a year in passive income at a rate of just 5%. That is nearly £1million every week, without getting out of bed.

And Gary, 40, argues that if nothing changes, the concentration of wealth at the top will only accelerate. “If this continues, it is inevitable that the billionaires and the super-rich will own a larger and larger share of the real wealth of this country, meaning other groups in society, the working class, the middle class, and the government will progressively own less and less.

“If we do not do anything about this system then very, very quickly the billionaires will own everything, and you will own nothing.”

In the UK, the richest 56 people have equal wealth to 27million people. In 2025 alone, the average billionaire grew their wealth by £231million. Meanwhile wages, in real terms, are lower than they were almost 20 years ago and the average student debt in England has soared from £3,200 in 2000 to £53,000 today.

Taxing wealth rather than income is not a new idea – Norway, Switzerland and Spain already have wealth taxes. Under his proposal, a person worth £11 million would pay £20,000 in tax a year, while some one worth one billion would pay £20 million.

Some estimates suggest that this system could raise £24billion annually, enough to fund the NHS, build affordable housing or cut taxes for workers who are on lower incomes.

A poll of 4,142 British adults found that 75% of the public support a wealth tax along with many experts. Gabriel Zucman, Professor of Economics, tells Gary: “There is a problem in our tax systems which is that the very rich have lower effective tax rates than the rest of the population.”

But there are plenty of billionaires, aristocrats, tax experts and finance influencers who argue against it. In the programme Reform party donor and billionaire entrepreneur Bassim Haidar – whose wealth is growing at around 12% a year, says that if it happened, he’d sell his businesses and quit Britain. “I would exit completely. Yeah, even if I sell them at a loss, I don’t care, cause it becomes a matter of principle. Wealth is mobile, so I’ll walk away. And listen, I’ll take a hit for one year, that’s fine. But then I’ll go, and I’ll never come back.”

Gary, who grew up in Ilford, east London, the son of a postman, thinks Haidar is scaremongering. “Rich people generate the majority of their income from owning assets. Your house, your supermarket, the farms that grow your food, the power plants that create your energy,” he argues. “Many wealthy people own assets which are fundamentally fixed to this country.”

He also discovers wealthy people who are quite happy to give a bit more. Julia Davies, who made her fortune building an accessories business and is a member of a group called Patriotic Millionaires, is one of them: “We’ve got to stop normalising this idea that it is normal to try and avoid contributing to public services and infrastructure, if you can massively afford to do that. I’m a millionaire, I’m not going anywhere. Why would I uproot myself and my family just to avoid contributing a bit more?”

The couple are already parents to daughter River Rose, who was born two months before they got married in April 2024.

Nick gained fame through his appearances on The Bachelorette and as The Bachelor himself, with him meeting his wife through Instagram years later.

The happy news comes after Nick revealed that Natalie suffered a third devastating miscarriage last year on his podcast, The Viall Files.

Natalie was absent from the episode, usually featuring alongside her husband during recording.

Nick addressed Natalie’s unusual absence, saying: “As you can see, Natalie is not with us.

“There’s no really easy way to talk about this…”

He then got candid with his listeners as he revealed the heartbreaking news.

“Sadly, Natalie experienced another miscarriage. It is her third this year, our third this year…

“There’s no really good way to say it, it f**king sucks.

“She’s obviously at home resting, healing, both physically and emotionally.”

Natalie first suffered a miscarriage in January 2025, before enduring a second pregnancy loss just two months later.

Nick explained to his listeners: “When it happens the first time, the doctors and everyone kind of acknowledge that, while terrible, this is that something that can happen.

“And everyone’s just… don’t freak out, there’s nothing wrong, it sadly can be a part of this process.”

Nick went on: “And then it happened the second time, you know, obviously we have a lot of amazing blessings in our life, first and foremost being River, minus like some morning sickness and things like that, we were very lucky to have a fairly easy pregnancy…

“Really no complications, which was such an amazing blessing.

“Despite what’s going on right now with us, our doctor keeps reminding us that that is the best sign of our future ability to grow our family.

“But right now obviously there’s a little bit of uneasiness. It’s far less normal to have two and three back to back.

“Now we’re kind of in that very scary process of running tests and finding out more about ourselves, and it’s like this weird thing of like you want them to find something, but you don’t want them to find something.

“Because if they find something, you don’t know what that means. We’re in this kind of very uncharted territory of fact finding. Which sucks.”

Nick also said: “I really just wanted to be transparent with you guys ’cause I know she wasn’t there yesterday, people started to notice, and we’re already getting messages with like a lot of concern.

“So overall, Natalie is doing OK physically and healing and she’s OK in that respect and emotionally, we’re currently dealing with that.”

‘Outraged’ Love Island fans make same complaint minutes into Movie Night

The Love Island villa welcomed Movie Night as secrets were exposed, but viewers ‘spotted’ a problem

It didn’t take long for fans to flock to social media with their complaints.

Fresh drama erupted in the Love Island villa on Sunday evening (July 5) as the notorious Movie Night descended upon the ITV2 reality programme.

The twist enables the Islanders to assemble in the garden and view a giant screen displaying video footage from across the series. It’s during this event that private discussions are laid bare and startling romantic encounters are completely unmasked.

It provides the contestants with an opportunity to uncover whether their partners and romantic interests have been wholly honest, and discover what fellow Islanders have been remarking about them while they were away.

This year’s Love Island Movie Night sparked especially heated rows, particularly for the boys who stayed faithful following Casa Amor yet still snogged and chatted up the bombshells.

The selection for the Movie Night footage featured scandalous headings such as ‘The Affair’, ‘Mamma Mica’, ‘The Princess Jasmine Diaries’ and ‘Samraj Like It Hot’, reports OK!.

It was ‘The Affair’ that thrust Jasmine and Lorenzo’s developing bond into the limelight, leading Kavan to announce, “It’s all there, the affair is clear”. Yasmin also wasted no time in telling Lorenzo, “You don’t have a leg to stand on”.

Mica was next to appear on the big screen, and she promptly faced criticism as the islanders witnessed her burgeoning romance with Samraj unfold. The jaw-dropping scenes left Priya doubting everything as she confessed to other islanders, “I look like a mug all the time.”

‘Samraj Like It Hot’ once more placed Mica and Samraj at the centre of attention, courtesy of their developing romance. As Mica tried to justify herself, Priya remained unconvinced and said, “That’s so dishonest of you.”

Yet Mica and Samraj weren’t the sole islanders to come under fire as Kavan drew parallels between his and Jasmine’s situations following their choices during Casa Amor.

Immediately standing her ground, Jasmine told Kavan, “I did not do the same thing”, which didn’t land well, and the friction escalated.

Despite all the expected fireworks, some Love Island fans grumbled as the ITV programme broke for adverts just minutes into Movie Night.

Heading to X, one Love Island fan exclaimed: “Hydration break and ad break at the exact same time, alright man #loveisland.”

A second stated: “A break!? Seriously!? #loveisland #loveislanduk”, while a third chimed in: “BREAK ALREADY?? #loveisland.”

“Break after break after break, this is why there’s so much unused footage, mate #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK,” commented one viewer.

“AFTER A 10MIN AD BREAK?! ANOTHER ADVERT?!!! ITV R U TAKING THE P*** ?? @ITV #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK,” asked another, while another echoed the sentiment: “Did we not just come back from a break?! #loveisland #loveislanduk.”

The stylist, 62, filmed herself swiping through profiles of prospective suitors, declaring that she was having a blast doing so.

“I’ve just joined Hinge for the day to see what it’s like,” she told her followers, before asking: “What do Keir Starmer, Macron, the new leader of Hungary – I can’t remember his name, I’m sorry – and the chancellor of Germany all have in common? They’re all five foot seven!”

Trinny explained that as a taller woman she’d be “cool” dating a shorter man, but that she prefers a bit of height.

“I’m somebody who might be with a really short man and that’s cool, but because I’m five foot 10, it’s challenging,” she said, before reciting some of the blurbs of the men she was perusing.

“My love language is touch. Mmm, a bit creepy!” she said of one.

“The way to win me over is eggs in the morning – so he expects me to cook for him every morning? Eh, sorry, mate!” she said of another, swiping firmly off his profile.

Trinny then appeared to strike gold with a gentleman named Rupert.

“Rupert, oh, Rupert!” she squealed, before reciting his bio: “Dating me is like being treated properly and never being uncertain about where things stand.

“I won’t yoga but I will carry your mat. Probably pick you up and take you for coffee. Fun, honesty, food and warmth.”

Impressed with Rupert’s spiel, Trinny remarked: “That’s rather sweet. He lives in Kensington. I’m sorry, that’s interesting. Is anyone interested in Rupert yet?”

She was overjoyed to learn he was six foot seven.

During the video, Trinny’s daughter Lyla, 22, entered the room and scolded her mother.

“You actually can’t do that. You can’t be mean about people on the internet!” she berated her mum.

“I’m not being mean. We’re just having a girl’s chat,” Trinny insisted, before turning her attention back to Rupert.

“Should I just say ‘where would you take me for coffee?’” Trinny pondered, before typing her first message to Rupert and hitting send.

“I’ve done one! I’m in the game!” she exclaimed.

It comes three years after her last romance ended, with Trinny and her millionaire ex Charles together for 10 years.

Charles, 82, is an art collector and the former husband of TV chef Nigella Lawson. He was seen shortly after splitting from Trinny on a lunch date with model Lady Martha Sitwell, 45.

Chris Stapleton and Chaka Khan celebrate America’s 250th at the L.A. Coliseum

In New York, the Brooklyn Bridge went up in flames briefly during a fireworks display. In Washington D.C., stormy weather delayed a grievance-filled speech by President Trump.

And here in Los Angeles? On Saturday night, tens of thousands of Angelenos joined voices peacefully at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum to sing along with Chris Stapleton as the country star compared a lover to Tennessee whiskey.

A unifying cultural figure beloved by both liberals and conservatives, Stapleton was the headlining act at a Fourth of July benefit concert that also featured Smashing Pumpkins, Chaka Khan, Maren Morris and Queen Latifah. (I’d be surprised if those five names had previously appeared together in the same sentence.) The show, with tickets priced at $17.76, was presented by America250, a bipartisan commission that Congress created in 2016 to plan celebrations for the country’s 250th birthday; proceeds went to Feeding America, which calls itself the largest domestic hunger-relief organization in the United States.

“No politics — just purpose” is how America250 Chair Rosie Rios described the night in remarks from the stage, and it wasn’t hard to interpret the distinction she was seeking to draw between her group and Freedom 250, Trump’s rival semiquincentennial initiative that organized Saturday’s windblown event on the National Mall (not to mention an earlier concert by Vanilla Ice that was called off due to the threat of rain).

But here’s the thing: Compared with the president’s celebration, where he complained about his treatment by the justice system and suggested we should refer to his current term as his third, the show at the Coliseum really did feel like a politics-free zone — the somewhat rare occasion these days when folks from different walks of life come together just to listen to music and drink overpriced micheladas.

Said Stapleton not long into his set: “I won’t waste time talking.”

America250’s success was hardly a sure thing. Despite the relatively low price, tickets moved slowly in the weeks before the concert; one guy I talked to Saturday told me he’d paid six bucks for a discounted pass. Yet to my eyes the Coliseum was close to full by the time Stapleton came on.

The country singer was as solid and soulful as always, snarling gently through “Bad as I Used to Be,” then trading loving harmonies with his wife, Morgane, in “Millionaire.” He closed with “Tennessee Whiskey,” of course — a trusty yet somehow un-shopworn piece of Americana that’s earned a place on the shelf next to Ray Charles’ “Georgia on My Mind” and Willie Nelson’s “Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground.”

Smashing Pumpkins was perhaps a stranger fit for an explicitly patriotic event — “The world is a vampire,” frontman Billy Corgan sneered in “Bullet With Butterfly Wings” — yet the band sounded sharp and punchy in the ’90s alt-rock hits that have brought zoomers and even Gen Alpha kids into its audience.

Billed not inaccurately on the concert’s poster as “the legendary Chaka Khan,” the 73-year-old funk doyenne flexed her vocal chops in jammy renditions of “Ain’t Nobody” and “Tell Me Something Good” and got people hoisting their drinks for “I’m Every Woman.” Morris, who’d flown in from New York after attending her pal Taylor Swift’s wedding on Friday night, made an improbably smooth segue between her and Zedd’s synthed-up “The Middle” and the rustic “My Church.”

As the show’s host, Queen Latifah dispensed uplifting thoughts about American idealism throughout the evening but also got a slot of her own to do her classic “U.N.I.T.Y.” with help from a rambunctious drum line. It’s an unapologetic message song about demanding respect, and what was moving about hearing it here is that nobody seemed put off by that idea.

I’ll wave a flag for that.

The mum of Travis Kelce admitted she can’t reveal too much, but offered a glimpse into the Madison Square Garden nuptials that unfolded in New York City.

Speaking to Macy’s during their 50th Fourth of July Celebration, Donna, 73 said: “I really can’t say a heck of a lot except it was magical, man!

“Magical!” she then repeated, as she burst out into a smile, clearly having fond memories of her son and superstar daughter-in-law’s special day.

Guests have been totally tight-lipped since the ceremony, which saw them asked to sign NDAs ahead of the blockbuster event, which was attended by 1,000 guests.

In further new details, the reception is said to have turned into a “game’s night” of sorts in the evening, with guests taking home luxury raffle prizes.

Among the party favours were Cartier watches and designer handbags, as reported by TMZ.

The biggest prize up for grabs, however, was a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle with the license plate “JUST&T MRD”, according to an insider. The classic car is a replica of the one they were spotted in on their first date.

The source revealed that guests “were invited to play games throughout the evening, earning raffle tickets for a chance to win an array of prizes.”

After 16 full-length albums, a batch of brutal breakups, and a record-breaking world tour, Taylor, 36, locked down her prince charming in what guests have called a “deeply moving” ceremony just 10 months after the couple announced their engagement in August 2025.

The pair chose actor-comedian Adam Sandler to officiate the proceedings while also ditching the traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen.

Instead, members of their families were by their sides with the groom’s brother and former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce as best man and Taylor’s brother Austin as her man of honor.

The news of this detail quashed fan speculation about who might be chosen to assist the bride down the aisle, such as Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid.

Eagle-eyed Swifties also thought they had caught a glimpse of the bridemaids dresses when Taylor’s childhood best friend, Abigail Anderson, and Laura Kruk, the fiancée of New York Giants wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster, stepped out in the same $795 gown, but it seems this was purely coincidence.

In another unusual wedding detail, Swift reportedly walked down the aisle to a strings rendition of one of her own songs while Jason and Kylie Kelce’s daughters scattered petals.

At around 7:30pm, Travis, 36, and Taylor’s marriage was confirmed with huge purple screens reading “JUST&T MARRIED!” lit up outside Madison Square Garden, roughly an hour after Taylor’s SUV was spotted pulling into the venue.

Both the bride and groom were dressed in Christian Dior, it was later confirmed by Taylor’s PR.

It comes after friends insisted Brooks is not in a relationship despite her and actor Taron, 36, being spotted out for a romantic dinner earlier this year

Instead she is said to be focusing on her role in the upcoming Baywatch reboot.

A pal told TMZ: “Brooks is totally single right now. She’s been going out on dates and having fun, but her main focus is Baywatch.

“Brooks is currently filming both Baywatch and Love Thy Nader in LA right now. Her main focus is on work.”

And Brooks is determined to let people know she is still on the market, telling the outlet: “I’m just single, having fun, always.”

In March an insider said of Brooks and Taron’s romance: “She likes hanging out with him. She’s just enjoying it for what it is, but she’s definitely into him.”

They added that she found him “very charming with his British accent”.
