A NEW theme park is set to open next year – but it isn’t your average attraction.
The theme park will be the world’s first luxury theme park and is set to open in autumn, next year.
Called BON (Beauty of Nature) Luxury Theme Park, the luxury-based theme park will be located at VidantaWorld Nuevo Vallarta in Nayarit, Mexico.
Nayarit benefits from warm temperatures year round, including 21C averages in the winter months.
In total, the park will feature 23 attractions, themed environments and entertainment.
Found in Vidanta – which is usually a member-only resort – the park will have two new hotels, BON Hotel and Jungala Hotel, as well as a new Cirque du Soleil show.

However, during the first year it is open, only guests staying at the VidantaWorld Nuevo Vallarta Hotel will be able to access the park.
There will be rollercoasters including Izari’s Flight, Speed of Light and Ashara: Goddess of Fire.
Visitors will also be able to ride on a water flume ride known as Toca Tambo Falls.
And there will be a new Cirque du Soleil show called LUDO as well, with a water-themed dinner show, with acrobatics and next-gen effects.
It will be in a $200million (£150million) custom built 696-seat theatre, with its own wrap-around aquarium.
In addition to the Cirque du Soleil show, there will be a number of experiences available at the park, such as The Crater Experience.
There will be a number of immersive lands too, such as BON Plaza, Fantasy Gardens, Empire of Light, Land of Legends and the Cirque du Soleil Zone.
According to VidantaWorld, there will also be “epic pools, and championship golf—including Greg Norman’s Vidanta Vallarta (home of the PGA TOUR Mexico Open)”.
Visitors at the park won’t go hungry either, as there will be 25 spots to grab a bite to eat including Mexican restaurants and international cuisines.
For example, Azami will offer fresh sushi and poke bowls and at Tacoco, guests can grab Mexican favourites.
Of course, a theme park isn’t complete without shops and BON will have 16 including BON Boutique, Artesanias and a Candy Shop.
VidantaWorld commented that “VidantaWorld intends to deliver thrills without the lines and hassles, entertainment wrapped in nature, culinary excellence typical of premium cruises and incredible beaches without the parking lots and traffic”.
Michel Beuffe, COO for VidantaWorld said: “VidantaWorld truly is ‘the best of all possible worlds’ because soon, families will no longer have to choose between a luxury beach resort vacation, a theme park destination or a mega yacht experience.
“At VidantaWorld, you can have it all.”
The first phase has already opened, which is BON Hotel at VidantaWorld Nuevo Vallarta.
The hotel is fully made up of suites, which feature separate lounges and kitchenettes.
Jungala Hotel is then an all-suite luxury retreat set within the resort’s tropical landscape.
Each of the one-bedroom deluxe suites include a separate living area and kitchenette.
The hotel is also very close to the Jungala Aqua Experience, which is home to Latin America’s longest lazy river.
Elevated walkways will also connect guests to different parts of the resort.
On December 16, the Cirque du Soleil show LUDO (latin for ‘I play’) will open.
In autumn next year, BON Luxury Theme Park is then due to open fully to the public.
In total, VidantaWorld Nuevo Vallarta spans across 2,500 acres on the coast between the Sierra Madre Mountains and the Pacific Ocean.
