OLIVIA Attwood has revealed the ‘real reason’ why she was cuddling Pete Wicks in those cosy yacht pictures from last year.

The former Love Island star, 35, was seen pictured looking very close to Pete, 37, while lounging on a boat in Ibiza in August 2025.

Olivia and Pete went public with their relationship in March this year.

And it comes after she split from her ex husband Bradley Dack, who she tied the knot with in 2023, in January 2026.

In the most recent episode of the Olivia’s House podacst, the ITV star and pal Mark Johnson discussed the trip, and the pictures of her and Pete.

“Okay, let’s talk to my listeners about the yacht pictures with Pete,” Olivia said.

“Because there is a funny story here. Just as a subtext, okay I was obviously leaning back on him like on the yacht, but nothing happened.”

Mark then told her: “Tell the whole story!”

Olivia continued: “But the pictures, the actual came back was funny, right? So I am lent back on him and whatever…”

Mark chimed in: “Yeah, but let’s go first, when that woman dunked you! Do you remember? Rebecca is her name. She dunked. Do you remember?

“She slipped drunk and dunked you.”

Olivia confessed that she didn’t remember and Mark explained: “What the hell? You were getting out off the board, you know that board, where you jump? Do you not remember? Where were you?!”

“Did she give me concussion?! Because I don’t remember,” Olivia told him.

Mark continued: “So when you were getting out of the water, you know when you get in that board bit.

“You were getting out and she was rotten, fell down the stairs, slid and dunked you.”

Olivia asked: “So is that why he was cuddling me?”

Mark told her: “Yeah so when you were getting out, you were crying, and I was laughing.”

“I remember hitting my head, but I thought I hit it inside,” Olivia confessed.

Mark said: “No. It was when you got dunked under the water. And you were crying. I don’t see you cry at all.

“So I thought it was funny!”

Olivia then went on to explain the other part of the story.

She said: “Our friend Megan Elliot, who we love, we adore her. She is my second sister. She is my blood, my family.

“But love her, sometimes, she is a couple of sandwiches short of the whole picnic. Sometimes she comes out with things, we go “Oh, shut up, Megan!”

“So anyway, she goes, we’re in the middle of the ocean, right? And not posted anything for days.

“There’s a catamaran, so if you don’t know what a catamaran is, it’s one of those boats that has two bits, and then the middle bit is like, it’s a weird boat.

“She goes, “Someone is taking pictures of us off that boat! I saw a flash, it was massive.”

“And we go “Shut up, Megan!” We were all taking the p**s. Someone is taking pictures of us. Who do you think you are? Jennifer Aniston?!

“We were actually mocking her for it. And then she was like “No I swear!” We carried on about our business, next day we’re at the pool and I’m so hungover, I think I’m going to die.

“I’m on the back. I’m on the bed, and she comes in and she goes “Told you.” And then she was going all like “I told you, I told you”.

“She’s scrolling through and she goes “I knew it, I knew it. I saw…”

“She had her t*ts out.”

TV star Olivia had kept tight-tipped about her romance with Pete after being pictured snogging the hunk and leaving a hotel together after the Brits.

But in March, in a statement accusing her ex Bradley of cheating on her multiple times over their 10-year relationship, Olivia admitted she’s trying to move on.

“Yes, I’m dating,” wrote Olivia.

“Yes, I’m getting up every single day even when I have cried all night to film the shows I love filming, record my podcast, record my radio show, shoot campaigns and somewhere in there TRY to move on.”

Since then, the pair haven’t been able to keep their hands off each other.

They were spotted smooching on a sun lounger while on Nikki Beach in St. Tropez.

Olivia and Bradley first met in 2015, dated for three months, and then went their separate ways.

After Olivia went on Love Island in 2017, and split from ex Chris Hughes, the pair got back together in 2018.

Bradley proposed to the star in 2019, and they tied the knot in 2023.

Meanwhile Pete has dated the likes of Maura Higgins, Megan McKenna and Chloe Sims.

Sam Thompson could not hold back the tears as he was snapped hugging his best friend Pete Wicks‘ and seeming rather emotional. The pair were in town for the TRIC (Television and Radio Industries Club) Awards with a host of other celebs.

Sam, 33, and Pete, 37, won Best Podcast for Staying Relevant. After cinching the award, Pete and Sam stepped outside with Pete holding onto a cigarette as Sam could be seen having an emotional conversation. During the chat Sam was gesticulating wildly and then wrapped Pete in an embrace, resting his head on his best friend’s shoulder.

Sam’s face was red and slightly puffy, suggesting he’d been rather moved by emotion during the awards ceremony.

A representative for Sam told The Mirror after the awards: “Sam and Pete were absolutely thrilled and very emotional to have won Best Podcast Award at the TRICS for the second year running.

“Staying Relevant is such a passion project for them so to receive such a special accolade twice felt all the more special. Happy tears were flowing from the whole team.”

After winning the awards, the Made in Chelsea star sent a chair flying as he jumped around in excitement and bounced around the table. Accepting the prize, he said: “That’s mad! Wahey!” He then accidentally swore as he said: “No! I just didn’t wanna say the word f***, oop!”

He then clapped his hand over his mouth as Pete brushed off the moment, saying: “Don’t do that!”

The duo shared the moment they won on Instagram in a hilarious video captioned: “SECOND YEAR IN A ROW BABY. Thank you Relevanters for every single vote, we wouldn’t be here without you. As Sam would say, we are a community (sorry @p_wicks01 ) See you next year @tricawardsuk.”

This isn’t the first time Sam has been snapped crying on Pete’s shoulder during at the TRIC Awards, but previously the star wasn’t shedding tears of joy.

Pete was snapped comforting Sam in 2024 as Sam visibly shed tears while in the smoking area after the awards. Addressing his tears, Sam later revealed on his podcast that he had heard some bad news. “Firstly, there’s no way of getting around it, I had actually received some bad news, so I actually was really sad, I’m not going to lie about it, but I was.”

“I wasn’t crying though, I wasn’t actually crying. I just want to let everyone know that now,” he added. “There was a paparazzi shot which said ‘Sam Thompson crying after THAT argument with girlfriend Zara’, after the Soccer Aid thing. They linked both of them together.”

Sam continued: “There’s a few things here, I was really sad, and Pete being my best mate, he took me outside and the beauty of it was that Pete said we can’t go out the front because there were a lot of paps there. So, we went through the back. I let it go, I let it all out. I’m literally head-butting Pete’s shoulder – I’m literally caressed into his armpit.

“He’s being such a good mate and saying he’s always there for me and I’m feeling really sorry for myself. I thought, ‘at least nobody is going to see this’, but little did I know that later that day the pictures were everywhere.”

It’s unclear why Sam was emotional on this occasion, but it could have been tears of happiness after clearly being full of joy during the event. Sam is also now dating model and DJ Talitha Balinska, 25, with the pair frequently posting about one another on social media.

The 16th offering from the photo dump saw Liv snap a mirror selfie where her eyes appeared puffy and again, she pouted and looked downcast.

But despite some people alarmed by the lack of Pete appearing in the post, others spotted a sign that all might be well between the pair.

During a recent episode of his podcast Staying Relevant, which he co-hosts alongside his best pal Sam Thompson, Sam probed Pete about being spotted with Olivia at Heathrow airport.

Sam asked: “Do you like to go to the airport frequently when you’re not flying?”

Pete replied: “Yeah when I’m around. I bumped into a few people I know and that. It’s just one of those things sometimes I like to go to the airport to get my coffee, there’s a really good Cafe Nero there.”

Former I’m A Celeb star Sam argued that Heathrow was quite a way from Pete’s home but appearing to use a clever euphemism for Olivia he said the “coffee is worth it.”

Talking of Olivia and Pete’s pap pictures, Sam joked: “You looked really happy to be there.”

Sam then tried to get Pete to confess his love for Olivia, but he failed.

He said: “I love girls. No, no not loads of girls, I love girl… Do you love girl, Pete?”

THE London Marathon always sees a host of celebrities run alongside the general public, but it didn’t get off to a great start for Harry Judd.

The pair are raising money and awareness for the National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS), after Daddy Pig’s son George was diagnosed with moderate deafness.

Daddy Pig also ran the London Marathon in a special episode of Peppa Pig, which aired last week.

Earlier in the day, Sebastian Sawe and Yomif Kejelcha created sporting history as they became the first people to run a competitive marathon in under two hours.

Kenyan Sawe, 29, trod new ground in track and field as he crossed the finish line of the London Marathon along The Mall in an incredible time of one hour 59 minutes and 30 seconds.

It was an astonishing performance, achieving something that few thought was ever possible.

If that was not astonishing enough then second-placed Kejelcha of Ethiopia – running his first marathon – also dipped under the magical two-hour mark as he ran 1:59:41.

It comes after the new couple have just returned from a secret getaway to the South of France.

The pair, who were also spotted on a romantic dog walk, were seen collecting their luggage from the baggage carousel at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport in the South of France on Sunday. 

Former Love Island star Olivia, and podcast co-host Pete flew Business Class on British Airways from London’s Heathrow to Nice. 

An onlooker said: “They were seen at the gate and they were very loved-up and cuddling each other. 

“They were trying to keep a low profile by wearing baseball caps. 

“They were kissing at the gate and couldn’t keep their hands off each other. 

“They were sitting in Business Class together. 

“At the luggage carousel they were cuddling and kissing and headed off together.” 

Olivia and Pete were spotted snogging just weeks after she revealed she had split from her long-term boyfriend Bradley Dack.

The Sun revealed earlier this week that they headed away together as any potential budding romance continues to heat up.

Olivia and Pete usually host their own Kiss FM radio show together on Sundays but were absent from the programme this week as they jetted off on their secret holiday.

The Sun revealed how the pair enjoyed a three-night break at the luxury Lily of the Valley hotel in St Tropez – costing £1,000 a night.

Eagle-eyed fans mused how they had spotted Pete’s trademark glasses on the table in one of Olivia’s social media pics from the trip

It led one fan to remark to The Sun: “It seems they tried to keep it all under wraps but seeing Pete’s glasses in the background of Olivia’s snaps appeared to give the game away.”

The Sun has contacted reps for Olivia and Pete for comment.

Sparks first began to fly between the pair at this year’s Brit Awards, according to insiders.

Having attended the ceremony together, Pete was spotted taking a pizza back up to a hotel room at 3am where he and Olivia were both staying.
