Sen. Lindsey Graham preliminary cause of death revealed

Sen. Lindsey Graham, the prominent Republican from South Carolina who served in the Senate for more than two decades, died after suffering an aortic dissection, his office said Sunday.

Graham died unexpectedly Saturday night, his office announced, shortly after he had returned to Washington after a trip to Ukraine.

In a statement, his spokesperson said a preliminary report from the medical examiner for the District of Columbia found that the 71-year-old senator died of aortic dissection due to arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease. With aortic dissection, a tear occurs in the wall of the aorta.

According to the Mayo Clinic, aortic dissection is not very common, and its symptoms may be mistakenly attributed to other health conditions. It usually affects men in their 60s and 70s. If the blood from the dissection travels outside the artery, the condition is often fatal.

A former military lawyer who reached the rank of colonel in the Air Force, Graham ran for the Republican nomination for president in 2016. Initially a cutting, vocal critic of then-candidate Donald Trump during the election, Graham became one of the president’s staunchest allies after Trump’s election.

“Senator Lindsey Graham, one of the greatest people and Senators I have ever known, is dead!” Trump posted on his social media platform, Truth, on Sunday. “He was always working, and was a true American Patriot.”

Graham was known as a C student in high school, and was the first member of his family to attend college. His mother died while he attended the University of South Carolina, and his father died of a heart attack during Graham’s first semester of law school.

He served as a judge advocate in the Air Force, eventually becoming the chief prosecutor for the Air Force in Europe.

He was first elected to serve as senator for South Carolina in November 2002.

In a social media post on X, Vice President JD Vance described Graham as one of the most powerful lawmakers, and recalled an incident where he and Graham got into a shouting match over a funding bill for the war in Ukraine.

Later the same day, he wrote in the post, Graham was advocating for rail legislation that Vance supported.

“That was Lindsey Graham,” he wrote. “He fought like hell for the things he believed in, and he was just as willing to go to bat for you when it counted.”

Graham had been scheduled to appear on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday to discuss his trip to Ukraine. Instead, President Trump appeared in his stead, where he said the senator had been “like a member of the family.”

Trump called into several Sunday news programs to discuss Graham’s death, and said he had spoken to Graham on Saturday evening.

Trump told CNN’s Jake Tapper that the South Carolina senator had said he was “tired.”

Ross in Coronation Street’s sinister plan exposed as Cassie’s exit ‘revealed’

Coronation Street’s Ross Wilkes showed his true colours with Cassie Plummer on Friday ahead of her exit from the ITV soap, which is linked to Tyrone’s dad’s arrival

Ross in Coronation Street made his true feelings known on Friday as he blackmailed Cassie Plummer.

The new character, played by actor Ian Burfield, debuted on the ITV soap this week. He’s the long-lost father of Tyrone Dobbs, Cassie’s son.

Cassie failed to recognise Ross when she met him in the hotel bar, and drunkenly began flirting with him. It was Friday’s episode, after Cassie had recognised Ross’ name on his bar receipt, that we saw them come face-to-face again.

This time, it was the moment Ross met Tyrone, and Tyrone realised the newcomer was his father. Later in the episode, Tyrone had told Ross where to go as he did not need a father after 40 plus years without one.

Ross was gutted about this, but instead of trying harder, he turned nasty with Cassie. Bumping into her in the shop, Ross blackmailed her over their moment in the bar.

Threatening to tell Cassie’s partner Steve McDonald and Tyrone about Cassie making a pass at him, Ross told Cassie she needed to help him. He wanted Cassie to basically change Tyrone’s mind about not seeing him.

Obviously wanting a relationship with his son, instead of trying to get Tyrone onside he decided to force Cassie to convince Tyrone instead. Cassie was alarmed, and there’s possibly some stuff about Cassie and Ross’ past that we don’t know.

So with Cassie set to leave the soap this year, and it revealed Ross is linked to the exit, could be turn Tyrone against her? That’s not clear just yet, but what is clear is that Cassie is right to worry about Ross.

She was so rattled by him that she left the room when she and Tyrone were left alone with him. She couldn’t face it, and now on top of that she’s fearful Ross is going to expose her to Steve over the bar incident.

The way that Ross turned on her in the shop, threatening her, proves he’s not to be messed with. Spoilers for next week reveal that Cassie tries to warn people about Ross, saying he isn’t what he seems.

When Ross gets told about this, he takes action. Once again threatening her, it’s not long before Cassie has a decision to make as the blackmailing continues. So will Cassie confess to Steve, and will she be rejected by Tyrone if Ross continues to play games?

Coronation Street airs weeknights at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITV X. * Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on TikTok, Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads.

The couple’s wedding was kept well under wraps and it seems the honeymoon has been no different.

In a bid to keep the location locked down, it’s been revealed that Taylor and Travis took different planes and airports to reach their destination.

NFL star Travis and pop queen Taylor are keen to enjoy their “newlywed bubble,” a source told the Mail.

They claim the A-listers hunkered for a few nights together before jetting off on their lavish getaway.

Taylor and Travis were spotted at the ultra-exclusive Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana, in the days following their nuptials at Madison Square Garden, according to the Mail’s source.

The smitten couple have been seen in the resort before and it’s quickly become somewhat of a quiet and private place for them to spend time.

Over the July 4 weekend, Taylor’s jet was loaned to family friends, who were spotted at her bougie $30 million holiday home in Rhode Island.

Flight paths show her plane then return through Nashville before it finally landed at Bozeman International Airport in Montana – a stones throw away from the Yellowstone Club.

To be granted a membership at the club, guests must own property on the site and pay the initial eye-popping membership fee of approximately $500,000, plus the yearly cost of $78,000.

Yellowstone Club features jaw-dropping mountain views, multiple pools including an infinity, rustic yet modern interiors and 15,200 acres of land.

Travis and 14-time Grammy Award winner Taylor have been to the luxury hideaway multiple times over the past few years with no snaps of the pair inside the gates ever surfacing online.

Last July, there was chatter they spent Independence Day weekend at the retreat and it was later confirmed by Travis himself as he donned a Yellowstone Club t-shirt in an episode of his podcast.

The resort is so exclusive that no one can enter without an invite.

Bill Gates, Tom Brady and Mark Zuckerberg are known members of the club.

Travis and Taylor tied the knot in front of 1000 of their closest family and celebrity pals on Friday July 3.

It was announced to the world at 7:30pm as the words “JUST&T MARRIED” flashed up on screens around MSG.

Crail tied with Aldeburgh in Suffolk also scoring 80 per cent and then rounding out the top five is Southwold, scoring 78 per cent.

On the other hand, there were a number of towns that failed to impress including Clacton-on-Sea, scoring 48 per cent.

A number of more popular seaside towns also didn’t get great scores, such as Margate (53 per cent) and Newquay (55 per cent).

Both gained only one star for peace and quiet and two stars for value for money.

When speaking of Margate, one visitor commented how the town centre is “run down”.

Another added: “Margate is quirky and not overly commercialised. It’s got some great events and places to eat and shop. It’s still a bit rough around the edges but it knows it.”

On the other hand, down in Newquay, people commented how hen and stag parties had taken over, with another person commenting: “Newquay is a brash and overly busy seaside town.

“There are better beaches and towns nearby which are quieter.”

Famous for featuring in the TV sitcom series Gavin & Stacey, Barry Island also didn’t score well, scoring around 54 per cent.

One visitor said: “Unless you are a big Gavin and Stacey fan I’d give it a miss.”

Bognor Regis came in last place on the worst seaside towns list Credit: Getty

The lowest score though went to Bognor Regis, scoring 41 per cent with visitors commenting that it was “tired” and needed “major rejuvenation”.

Rory Boland, Editor of Which? Travel said: “The North East has emerged as this year’s favourite seaside spot, a reflection of its outstanding beaches and the fact that holidays here can be fantastic value for money.

“It also shows that there are special seaside towns in every corner of the UK.

“From Swanage to Plockton, Southwold to Conwy, you’ll have a great time in many of the country’s lesser-known destinations, and should save some money too.

The UK’s 20 BEST lidos revealed

IT’S no secret that the UK is becoming a nation of outdoor swimmers – especially when the weather heats up.

Now, the AA has revealed the very best of Britain’s lidos and outdoor pools from across the country.

The best lidos in the UK have been revealed by the AA Credit: Alamy

161 outdoor pools, lidos and tidal pools were ranked on factors like Google search popularity, review scores, social media engagement, local sunshine and temperature data for July.

Taking the number one spot was Brockwell Lido found in Herne Hill which earlier this year was saved from closure.

The lido which has an on-site gym and café received a score of 72.58 out of 100.

The AA said: “Taking the number one spot for another year, Brockwell Lido remains one of the country’s most beloved swimming destinations.

“Popular with families, fitness enthusiasts and sunseekers alike, it continues to stand out for its strong reviews, huge social media presence and year-round appeal.”

Coming in second place with a score of 67.18 is Stoney Cove in Leicestershire.

Rather than being your average outdoor swimming pool, Stoney Cove is a flooded quarry – it’s a popular spot for scuba diving and open-water swimming.

The AA added: “Stoney Cove has jumped from seventh place last year to second place and is one of Britain’s most distinctive outdoor swimming destinations.

“Best known as a world-class inland diving and watersports venue, the former quarry is spring-fed and attracts thousands of visitors every year.

“Its crystal-clear waters spanning 13 acres, excellent facilities and picturesque setting make it one of the UK‘s standout locations for adventurous swimmers.”

In third place was another London lido – Tooting Bec.

It’s the UK’s largest freshwater outdoor pool, lined by colourful changing rooms and it has a café and picnic area too.

Other London pools that made the list were London Fields Lido, Greenland Dock, Hampton Pool and Hampstead Mixed Pond.

Europe’s best cities revealed including the ‘Hawaii of the Med’… but it isn’t good news for the UK

“Something unusual to keep an eye out for is Florence’s wine windows – ordering a glass of vino through a tiny hole in the wall was created as a way to socially distance during the plague in the 17th century.”

Then in second place is Prague, in the Czech Republic – nicknamed ‘jewel in the crown of Europe’ – scoring 88.89 out of 100.

The Sun’s Laura Purkess said: “Salzburg, the home of Mozart and The Sound of Music, sits in Austria’s beautiful Eastern Alps.

“While most of us associate the Alps with snow- caps and skiing, this city makes an ideal summer holiday destination — and it’s affordable.

“If you’re a keen hiker, it’s relatively easy to get from the city centre into the mountains which are filled with stunning, tree-lined trails that take anywhere from 15 minutes to three hours to complete.

“Hardcore fans of The Sound of Music should swap the free walking tour for a proper guided one of the film sets that takes you to locations beyond the city centre, including Church Mondsee, where Maria wed the Baron.”

Porto, Portugal and Ljubljana, Slovenia – nicknamed the ‘green jewel of Europe’ – then followed to round out the top five.

Two spots in Spain featured on the list with Seville in 10th and Madrid in 13th.

A proposal to create a 100-mile floating network of pathways in Manchester has now made “significant” progress forward.

The concept – drawn up by CyanLines – was created with the aim “to connect Greater Manchester’s blue and green spaces into a high quality network of walking, wheeling and cycling routes” for residents and visitors.

The cyan-coloured walkways have been designed to snake along either side of the River Irwell, complete with jetties for rowing boats and cycle lanes.

The £100million scheme was first announced in September 2025 and was expected to be developed over the next 10 years.

Now, the project is now well within the first phase of co-design and agreement – including drawing up an investment case – according to co-founder, Tom Bloxham.

Backed by Manchester City Council, Labour leader Bev Craig also told Manchester Evening News that the plans are making ‘significant’ steps forward.

The project, also supported by the National Trust, is said to bring a host of benefits to the city, including better access to green spaces, more opportunities for businesses and healthier residents.

Four CyanLines pilot loops are currently being ‘proof-tested’ by the public, with more than 15 miles of paths plotted.

These routes include a trail from St Peter’s Square to Whitworth Park and the Irwell & Castlefield Loop.

Pete Swift, CyanLines project co-founder, said: “The routes will be the starting point, or spring board, for a whole plethora of CyanLines projects which will bring new opportunities for nature to thrive and to be enjoyed.”

“But the real Thailand is in the busy beach bars flogging happy-hour deals, tiny restaurants with garish tablecloths, and the constant thump of Thai boxing promotions from crackling loudspeakers.

In second place was the beautiful Maldives followed by the Galapagos Islands and Bali.

But in 13th place is the first and only UK island to make the list – Skye and the Hebrides.

The wild Scottish archipelago is known for mountainous landscapes, rugged coastlines and rare white-sand beaches.

Travel Reporter Cyann Fielding, who visited Eilean Shona – part of the Inner Hebrides – described it as a “real-life Neverland”.

She said: “Whilst there isn’t much to do on the island, it is the perfect retreat away from the modern world and the stresses of day to day life.

“The island has an endless amount of walks you can take, and a couple of mine included heading to the summit and to the opposite side of the island where I found Shoe Bay, with a white sand beach and crystal clear waters.

“And whilst exploring the island, make sure to keep an eye out for wildlife as birds of prey often circle overhead.

“In less than 24 hours I had completely fallen in love with the island.”

Other top islands close to the UK include Malta which is dubbed one of the ‘jewels of the Mediterranean’.

Its capital, Valletta, is one of the sunniest cities in all of Europe – it gets on average 3,000 hours of sunshine each year.

The Italian islands of Sardinia and Sicily which are a short flight away for Brits also got high marks.

One writer visited Paros last year and loved the island for its “beautiful beaches, traditional villages and a buzzing nightlife.”

She added: “One thing I loved about the island is that it has everything you want out of a holiday.

Oasis to play record-breaking six Knebworth shows & 12-night Etihad residency in 2027 as new gigs revealed after reunion

ROCKERS Oasis will be back on stage next year — including a 12-date residency at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.

They are also set to do a record-breaking run of six concerts at Knebworth.

An insider said: “Oasis’ schedule is booked.

“It’s 12 nights at the Etihad over six weeks starting in June.

“They will then play Knebworth six times over a three-week period in September.

“Dates could be added but for now that’s the master plan.”

DOC ‘N’ ROLL

First look at explosive Oasis doc about feuding Gallagher brothers’ reunion

DOMINIC MOHAN

90s are back with Oasis & TFI Friday – but are we ready for Blair’s return?

Brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher put their long-running feud behind them to re-form the band for the 41-date Oasis Live ’25 tour last year.

The band had split up in 2009 amid rows.

A source said: “Noel and Liam always planned for the tour to have a second run.

“There were discussions about announcing [it] during the World Cup because of the connection between Wonderwall and the Three Lions in this tournament.

“But they’ve settled on August.

“It’ll give the country something to shout about — whether we’re celebrating or commiserating.”

The Etihad is the home of Manchester City, the team the brothers support.

Oasis’ gigs at Knebworth will break the record for the most times an act has played there.

A 12-date residency at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester is on the cards Credit: Getty

Over their six gigs the band are set to play to 750,000 people.

They performed two shows there in 1996 to 250,000 fans.

A source said: “Knebworth is a special place for Noel and Liam.

“The shows in 1996 broke records as 2.6million people applied for tickets.

“It was the largest demand for tickets in British music history.

“They broke that with Oasis Live ’25.

“Now they’re going to become the only act to have played Knebworth six times.”

The shows would take the band’s tally to eight and Liam’s to ten — as he did two solo shows at the Hertfordshire venue in 2022.

The brothers could also play shows outside of England Credit: Unknown

Demand for the new Oasis gigs will be astronomical.

Noel, 59, and Liam, 53, are set to stick with the same line-up as their shows last year — including guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, 61, who had to take time off from the tour after he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

There is speculation there will also be shows outside England, including in Rome and Celtic Park in Glasgow.

The Sun has campaigned for the band’s 1995 anthem Wonderwall to become the soundtrack to England’s World Cup campaign.

BACK TO MAKE HISTORY AGAIN

By Dominic Mohan, who was at Knebworth in ’96

1996 was the apex of the 90s and at Oasis’s mythical brace of balmy tribal gatherings in the grounds of Knebworth House we collectively reached the shimmering zenith of that glorious year.

Some 250,000 of us congregated in England shirts, Clarks Wallabees, cargo pants and Adidas, breathtakingly bearing witness to a mesmeric moment in time, one of the greatest of our lifetimes.

The swaggering Gallaghers at their majestic peak, unleashing bombastic fury, power and snarling menace, in front of Euro 96’s recent heroes, Kate Moss, Chris Evans and Jarvis Cocker.

There were 7,000 on the guest list. Radio Supernova broadcast on 106.6 FM. The band’s hero – Stone Roses’ guitarist John Squire – even joining them for a noodle on Champagne Supernova.

“This is history,” Noel chirped. He was not wrong. Knebworth is Britain’s most revered musical destination, where millions have paid homage to rock gods like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and The Rolling Stones since 1974.

But this was peak 90s largesse. The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers and Manics came as support and we thought we’d never see the like of it again.

Yet now we will. Disciples hoped it would happen this joyous summer to mark the 30th anniversary but this will be worth the wait and light up 2027.

I always suspected the brothers couldn’t stomach the fact taunting nemesis Robbie Williams usurped them in 2003 with a trio of nights in front of 375,000.

But this six-night residency puts the record straight and is a jaw-dropping run unlikely to be beaten.

Scrap your travel plans. Dig out that bucket hat because this one’s on the bucket list. Prepare for Oasis heaven in ’27.

The best beaches in EVERY UK region revealed

THERE’S nothing quite like a day at the seaside – and just in time for the school summer holidays the best beaches across the UK have been named.

The UK’s 50 best beaches by The Times for 2026 have been revealed, including lesser known spots and family favourites – here’s the lowdown of the best spots in each region.

Summerleaze Beach in Bude is not only the best beach in the southwest but also overall Credit: Facebook

Summerleaze Beach, Cornwall

Not only did Summerleaze Beach in Bude, Cornwall win for the South West region but it was also named the best beach overall.

The Blue Flag-awarded beach is a popular spot for surfing but is also home to lots of facilities that make for a great family day out.

There’s the Bude Sea Pool for example, which is an outdoor swimming pool and you can also head to the harbour with boats bobbing up and down on the water.

Direct from the beach you can also rent kayaks and stand up paddleboards.

Shanklin, Isle of Wight

Shanklin Beach on the Isle of Wight won the title for the south.

Just an hour on the ferry from Southampton, the beach is in an old fishing village and still has the charm, with striped deckchairs sitting on the sand.

The golden sand beach stretches for over a mile and is loved by families for its calm waters.

Surrounding the beach are also a number of sandstone cliffs and you can also head along the Esplanade, where you will find ice cream parlours, cosy cafes and gift shops.

In addition to the deckchairs available for hire, you can have a go at paddleboarding and kayaking as well.

Cromer, Norfolk

Cromer on the Norfolk Coast is the best beach in the east of England Credit: Alamy

Cromer in Norfolk won the title for the east of England.

The white sand beach is backed by cliffs dotted with Victorian buildings and is a great spot for a beach day or even having a surfing session.

Make sure to head to one of the nearby cafes too to have a taste of local, fresh seafood.

Along the beach you will also find Cromer Pier which is over a century old and is Grade II listed.

The pier will soon undergo a £2.4million revamp too, which could include refurbishing the theatre.

Travel Reporter Jenna Stevens, who has visited the town said: “Cromer mixes old-school seaside town tradition with trendy places to eat and shop, meaning this is a staycation spot that will please the whole family.”

“Perched at the end of the pier is the Pavilion Theatre, which puts on shows from Beatles tribute acts to Mamma Mia-themed parties.

“Plus it’s well worth a visit to catch the Cromer Pier Show with dazzling guests with high-production singing, dancing and comedy.

“And in the lanes behind the seafront, Cromer has recently seen a wave of new vintage shops, cool cafes and quirky art galleries arrive.

“Pop into Grey Seal Coffee for a smooth flat white in a beachy, boho setting, or have a nosey in Cromer Artspace to admire local artists’ landscapes.”

Low Newton-by-the-Sea, Northumberland

Low Newton-by-the-Sea was then named the best beach spot in the north of England and is owned by the National Trust Credit: Alamy

In the north of England, Low Newton-by-the-Sea won.

Low Newton-by-the-Sea is a small fishing village that is almost entirely owned by the National Trust and is home to quaint cottages as well as its curving beach.

The beach is a popular spot for walks and investigating rock pools.

Though, it is also a great place for windsurfing if you are feeling a little more adventurous.

And don’t forget to check out the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle, which sit at the end of the beach.

When exploring the ruins, you’ll see amazing panoramic views of the coast as well.

Horgabost, Outer Hebrides

Horgabost Beach won in Scotland and you can even camp directly above the sand Credit: Getty

The winner in Scotland is Horgabost Beach, which stretches for two miles across Losgaintir Bay.

And if you want to enjoy the beach for longer, you can stay at Horgabost Campsite which is at the far end of the beach, sitting right above the beach.

The beach itself also boasts fine white sand, making it the perfect spot for a walk.

One recent visitor said: “Horgabost Beach is a serene slice of paradise on the Isle of Harris.

“The beach is just a short walk from the nearby campsite, making it super easy to reach.

“Once you arrive, you’re greeted by soft sands, clear waters, and a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding.

“Whether you’re strolling along the shore or just soaking in the views, it’s a beautiful spot that feels wonderfully remote yet welcoming.”

Others have described it as looking like the Maldives, thanks to the white sand.

Tyrella, Co Down

In Northern Ireland, Tyrella Beach was named the best Credit: Getty

When it comes to Northern Ireland, Tyrella Beach in Co Down won.

The beach is a dune conservation area, meaning its natural beauty remains largely untouched.

Stretching more than a mile long, the Blue Flag spot has clean waters as well as a flat beach ideal for picnics.

You can stay nearby as well, with a number of B&Bs and caravans looking straight onto the beach.

One recent visitor said: “One of the best beaches in the country.

“And there are nice walks through the dunes.

“The sea is great especially if it’s a bit windy. Then you get big waves coming in… great for jumping or diving through.”

Broad Haven South Beach, Pembrokeshire

Then for Wales, Broad Haven South Beach near Bosherston came out on top Credit: Getty

And finally in Wales, Broad Haven South was named the best beach.

At the beach you can expect clear water as well as rock pools full of sea life ideal for little ones to explore.

On most sunny days you’ll also see an ice cream van parked at the top of the cliff.

The low tide also makes it the ideal spot for little ones who like to paddle in the water.

At the western end of the beach you’ll also be able to discover caves and even an ‘island’.

One recent visitor said: “Lovely beach, National Trust car park costs £4 for three hours or £8 for all day and for National Trust members, it is free.

Nice flat beach with rocks at either end.”

Taylor Swift’s custom couture wedding dress revealed as fans call out Easter Egg

DETAILS from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s elaborate wedding have been revealed, including the custom dress the singer wore and who stood beside them on their big day.

The couple exchanged vows on Friday at Madison Square Garden in New York City in an extravagant ceremony.

The U.S. Sun obtained a press release from Taylor’s rep shortly after the nuptials, which revealed some specifics about the special occasion.

Both the bride’s and groom’s looks were created by Christian Dior Haute Couture, designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s, and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the newlyweds.

Their shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin, and Taylor wore Cartier jewelry, per the release.

Some fans had already suspected that Taylor would wear a Christian Dior gown after she appeared to drop an Easter egg during an outing in April.

GREAT GOWNS

A-listers dazzle at Taylor’s wedding with shock ex-BFF appearance after ‘feud’

Taylor stepped out with a buttercup yellow Dior bag from Anderson’s debut show in the spring, leading many to speculate that she’d chosen him as the designer for her wedding dress.

The “royal wedding” is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity.

The lovebirds also did not have the traditional bridesmaids or groomsmen; instead, Taylor’s brother, Austin Swift, served as her Man of Honor, and Travis‘ brother, Jason Kelce, served as his Best Man.

It was a day to remember for the pair and their guests, as comedian and friend Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony.

Screens outside The Garden flashed signs that read, “JUST&T MARRIED!” about an hour after the ceremony began.

Fans showed their love for the beloved couple, gathering outside the venue and singing Taylor’s hit song, Love Story.

The reception is currently underway, continuing the three-day wedding festivities with 1,000 guests in attendance.

Rumors previously circulated that Taylor and Travis had already tied the knot in a private ceremony in Tennessee.

However, The U.S. Sun exclusively spoke to a relative of Taylor’s before the ceremony, who assured that the NYC bash would be the couple’s first wedding.

It was previously believed that Taylor’s BFFs, Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid, were a part of the songstress’s bridal party.

It was also thought that Taylor’s childhood best friend, Abigail Anderson, would serve as her Maid of Honor.

Abigail made a major faux pas with her wedding ensemble when she was seen wearing the exact same $800 Sau Lee dress as Laura Kruk, the fiancée of New York Giants wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster.

Hundreds of other celebrity guests stunned in their “black tie” ensembles, including Ed Sheeran, Karlie Kloss, Bradley Cooper, Dakota Johnson, and Ellie Goulding.

Many of Travis’ NFL buddies and their wives also attended the big event.

The high-profile affair prompted a massive police presence, street closures, and parking restrictions around the venue.

The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed that some NYPD cops expressed their frustrations over the large-scale event taking place during a near record-setting heat wave and the July 4 holiday.

Police have also posted up outside of Taylor’s $50 million Tribeca compound, which served as the headquarters for the wedding day.

It doesn’t appear the chaos will die down anytime soon, as the festivities are expected to continue into the weekend.

No other public events have been booked at the venue until next week.

The study looks at everything from popularity on social media and travel trends to insights from the editorial team.

And coming in no.1 was Sri Lanka which was praised for “having it all”.

It said: “Whiling away blissful days beach-hopping along the 833-mile coastline is part of the charm, but Sri Lanka offers much more beyond the shore.

“Itineraries fill up quickly here, between the timeworn temples, colonial towns, misty mountains, and wildlife safaris in Yala National Park, home to tigers and elephants.”

I explored Portugal on a solo travel holiday and made friends along the way

The Sun’s Assistant Travel Editor Sophie Swietochowski recently visited and said: “It was the off-grid excursions that gave me a real sense of what this region was truly about – a half-day cooking experience was just my cup of tea.

“And one night, an elephant stepped out from some undergrowth and plods slowly into the oncoming traffic, where drivers pulled to a casual halt until the lumbering giant disappeared.”

However, the only UK island to make the list was the Isle of Mull in Scotland, coming in 23rd place.

Making the list for its “rugged coastline and unexpectedly white sand,” it added: ” It’s an island of contrasts – where highland cows bathe in the calm, crystal-clear sea, and foamy waters crash into basalt columns.”

The island has everything from the coloured houses of Tobermory, as well as dolphin and seal watching – and even fluffy highlands cows on the beach.

While Mull was the only UK island to make the list, the nearby Achill Island in Ireland came in 8th.

World’s most liveable cities revealed and LOADS are in Europe

THE MOST liveable cities in the world have been named – but the UK didn’t make the cut.

Monocle’s Quality of Life Survey has been running for nearly 20 years, looking at a number of factors into what makes a city loved by its locals.

This includes everything from safety and connectivity to green spaces and late night openings.

New this year is ” excitement, urban ambition and security,” when it comes to making a city great.

Sadly, none in the UK made the top 20, with the study citing London missing out as it doesn’t have the “security of certain mature markets“.

What did come out on top was the city of Tokyo in Japan.

Inside Soap Awards nominations revealed as ceremony makes major change

The Inside Soap Awards are back and they have announced a major change to this years’ event to mark the 30th anniversary

The Inside Soap Awards are back – and are making the move up North for the first time ever.

This year’s event will take place in Manchester and will be the only soap awards ceremony held this year.

Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks will all go head to head whilst Australian soap Home and Away has also been nominated as well as dramas like Casualty and Waterloo Road.

Up for nomination this year is the epic Coronation Street and Emmerdale crossover episode – Corriedale – as well as Nigel’s sad death in EastEnders, amongst other dramatic and heartbreaking scenes.

“The Inside Soap Awards are still going strong after 30 years, and we’re proud to be championing all the wonderful work the soaps produce day in, day out. Our readers are just as passionate and loyal now as they were back in 1996, with over 90,000 of them voting each year – and the Inside Soap Awards remain the only accolades of their kind to be voted for entirely by the true experts, the soap fans themselves,” Inside Soap magazine editor Sarah Ellis said.

To mark the awards’ 30th anniversary, there will be their very own Hall of Fame and the first inductee will be announced during the ceremony. She added: “The soap star who receives this prestigious accolade will be someone who’s been closely associated with the Inside Soap Awards since they began in 1996.

“In addition, fans will also be able to nominate their Soap Superstar of 2026, a person they feel has gone above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to providing entertainment.”

Voting opens midday on Tuesday 30 June, and the winners will be revealed in Manchester in September.

HARRY Styles is looking at New Orleans for his wedding to Zoe Kravitz, it can be revealed.

Pals close to the loved-up pair say they think the Southern US town could be a special spot to tie the knot and have researched venues.

Zoe’s famous musician dad Lenny Kravitz has long-standing roots in the town after buying his first home in the Louisiana town, which has deep ties to the blues music scene.

Back at home, the One Direction star, 32, and US actress, 37, this weekend enjoyed London’s heatwave and were snapped cuddling on a picnic blanket on Hampstead Heath.

They confirmed their engagement to close family and friends in April.

A source said: “Harry and Zoe might have a string of celebrity friends and a Hollywood lifestyle but their wedding won’t be like that.

“They’re a cool couple and want something unique.

“Zoe’s family ties to New Orleans, plus the town’s musical history, is making it a front runner and they’ve told pals that they’re looking at options for holding their big day there.”

Rock icon Lenny bought his first home in New Orleans in 1994 – a Creole cottage on Dauphine Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans, a block away from the town’s famous Bourbon Street.

Whilst Zoe grew up in Los Angeles with her mother Lisa Bonet, in her teenage years she spent more time with Lenny at his Miami estate and New Orleans cottage.

The Sun revealed snaps of Zoe with a huge diamond ring on her wedding finger in April.

Ex-One Direction singer Harry and Zoe, who played Catwoman in The Batman, have dated since August last year.

They went public with their relationship in Rome but have since kept matters private and not commented on their status.

Harry is said to have popped the question with a ring worth up to £500,000 and first sparked engagement rumours when he and Zoe flew to the Bahamas just after Christmas to stay in her dad’s home there.

A source said at the time: “If it wasn’t an engagement, then it was something that shows they are very much committed to each other.”

The biggest hotel guest faux pas have been revealed

NINTCHDBPICT001090639177

THE biggest hotel guest faux pas have been revealed – including jumping the breakfast buffet queue, washing undergarments in kettles and stealing from rooms.

Other frowned upon acts include reserving pool chairs with towels for long periods, leaving rooms excessively messy and being loud in the hallways late at night.

Smoking or vaping in hotel rooms is also considered a no-no, as are putting the incorrect number of guests on the reservation and leaving alarms or phones to ring without turning them off.

While not reading reviews when booking and not collecting or cashing in rewards points are also viewed unfavourably.

In response, Hotels.com, which commissioned the research, is offering holidaymakers £100 in ‘Hotels.comCash’ for future trips after staying for 10 eligible nights through its rewards programme.

Melanie Fish, travel expert and spokesperson for the global marketplace, which has also teamed up with William Hanson for a ‘Grand Etiquette Hotel’ guide, said: “Small tweaks can make a world of a difference.

“Taking the time to check reviews or making the most of rewards can turn a good trip into a great one, and help your travel budget stretch further, too.”

Researchers found the vast majority (90 per cent) consider themselves to be considerate guests – although 39 per cent think residents have become less respectful in recent years.

Other divisive acts include hanging damp laundry on the balcony, not leaving a review after staying and being rude to staff.

Sneaking extra guests in and constant public displays of affection around the pool are also frowned upon by hotel guests.

WILIAM HANSON’S GRAND ETIQUETTE HOTEL GUIDE:

1.    THE ART OF ENGAGING STAFF WITH DIGNITY – Treat every member of staff, from the cleaner to the manager, with genuine respect and an open ear.

2.    HALCYON HALLWAYS (AND THE VIRTUE OF SILENCE) – Corridors are not thoroughfares for celebration, but shared spaces requiring a degree of restraint.

3.    LIBATIONARY LESSONS – A well-enjoyed drink need not become a public performance. Moderation is key, particularly in shared spaces where one’s behaviour is on quiet display.

4.    ON BURNING EMBERS AND BETTER JUDGEMENT – Hotel rooms are designed for comfort, not combustion. Lighting a cigarette indoors undermines both the space and the experience for future guests.

5.    HOUSEKEEPING IS NOT AN ARCHAEOLOGICAL ACTIVITY – Keeping your space in reasonable order (not pristine, but certainly not chaotic) ensures that housekeeping can do their job efficiently.

6.    LAVATION GENTILITY – The kettle, charmingly utilitarian as it is, exists for hot drinks only. Incredulously, some people attempt to use it for laundry.

7.    BORROWING, OWNERSHIP, AND OTHER DANGEROUS ASSUMPTIONS – Hotels provide generously, but not without limits. Slippers and toiletries may accompany you home; larger items most certainly may not.

8.    MARSHALLING ONE’S MORNING REPAST – The breakfast buffet is not a free-for-all, but a civilised ritual governed by the simple act of queuing.

9.    THE FOLLY OF FLAG PLANTING BY TOWEL – Placing a towel on a sun lounger at dawn and vanishing until mid-afternoon is a practice best left unadopted.

10.   LOYALTY, AND WHY IT GETS ONE FURTHER – By consolidating bookings and collecting rewards, one quietly accumulates tangible benefits.

Those polled were also asked which nationalities they consider to be the gold standard for politeness – and which ones they perceive to be rudest.

Japanese tourists came top for being the most considerate, followed by Sweden in second place, with U.K. respondents placing themselves third.

At the other end of the scale, Americans are regarded as the most impolite, just beneath those from Germany, according to Hotels.com research conducted through OnePoll.

William Hanson said: “Better hotel etiquette doesn’t just benefit others, it can directly enhance your own stay.

“At the heart of my guide is the idea that small, thoughtful behaviours add up to big rewards: from a better night’s sleep and improved service to savings on future trips.”

TOP 20 BIGGEST HOTEL FAUX PAS:

  1. Being rude to hotel staff
  2. Being really loud (e.g., loud hallway conversations, blasting music late at night or early in the morning)
  3. Putting the incorrect number of guests on the reservation
  4. Becoming drunk and annoying other guests
  5. Not reading the reviews when booking
  6. Smoking or vaping in hotel rooms
  7. Not looking at the pictures when booking
  8. Leaving rooms excessively messy at check-out
  9. Washing undergarments or personal items in the in‑room coffee maker
  10. Stealing items you’re not supposed to from the room
  11. Jumping the queue at the hotel breakfast buffet
  12. Reserving pool or beach chairs with towels or personal belongings for long periods
  13. Playing music on a personal speaker at the pool
  14. Allowing pets at the table in the hotel restaurant
  15. Bringing children into the adults‑only pool
  16. Sneaking extra guests into rooms
  17. Walking through hotel hallways or common areas wearing only a robe or sleepwear
  18. Not collecting reward points when booking
  19. Not checking out on time
  20. Leaving rubbish or room‑service trays in the hallway

It originally opened in 2012 as a pop up pub for the Olympics, taking over Leyton Town Hall, and reopened in 2024 after a huge revamp.

And the Community Local Award went to Lord Southampton in London, which was praised for being a space for local groups.

Pub Design Awards judging panel chair Andrew Davison said: “In these troubled times, the pub still has a key role to play in our communities, and those who are working to conserve, repair and renovate them should rightfully be applauded.

“The Pub Design Awards recognise the extraordinary amount of effort, the imagination and design, plus high-quality craftsmanship which have gone into all of these projects”

Best dog-friendly pubs with beer gardens revealed as UK set to hit 30C this week

There’s nothing better than heading to a pub garden during the balmy UK weather, and the top nine have been named – and they’re the purrfect spots for you and your beloved dog

The UK’s best dog-friendly pubs with beer gardens have been named, and it comes at the perfect time ahead of a period of intense rays.

The UK is set to bask in balmy weather this week, with temperatures reaching a blistering 30C in some regions as we edge closer to the official start of summer. Set to be a scorcher, sitting in a beautiful pub garden under shade with your pooch and a refreshing pint in hand might just be the perfect way to enjoy the sun-soaked weather.

In a bid to help Brits find that sought-after beer garden, CAMRA, the UK’s Campaign for Real Ale, has revealed the top nine dog-friendly pubs with beer gardens across the UK, all of which serve up that desirable cask beer. From their Pub of the Year winners and Good Beer Guide participants, these are undoubtedly some of the best pubs to visit during the summer months, and they’re dotted across the nation.

First on their list is Tamworth Tap in the market town of Tamworth, Staffordshire, just 30 minutes from Birmingham. It boasts an historic courtyard beer terrace with sweeping views of Tamworth Castle and additional seating at the front, so you’ll rarely be short of a seat.

It’s dog-friendly until 7pm on Friday and Saturday, providing more than enough time to enjoy it’s pictursque views over a pint from the Tamworth Brewing Company. It was named Pub of the Year in 2022, 2023 and 2025, and was also featured in the Good Beer Guide this year.

The Bailey Head in the market town of Oswestry in Shropshire, named after the nearby remains of Oswestry Castle, also featured among the top nine. It offers a pavement garden at the front of the pub, proving to be the perfect people-watching spot, and has ever-changing beers to suit every punter’s taste.

It was named Pub of the Year in 2024 and featured in the Good Beer Guide for 2026, earning well-deserved recognition and a reputation as a beloved public house in the area.

Nestled in the small village of Aldworth is the Bell Inn, and while it was named Pub of the Year back in 1990 and again in 2019, it has still earned a position on CAMRA’s list. In a Grade-II listed building, it has traditional pub interiors and a sprawling back garden with picnic benches and further seating situated at the front.

The Travellers Rest in the village of Skeeby is another pub worth noting during the summer months. Featured in the Good Beer Guide 2026 and Highly Commended in the Pub Saving Awards 2023, the pub was brought back to life after being closed for 15 years, and offers a serene garden room and spacious garden with a selection of local cask beers.

For those living in London, the Antwerp Arms in Tottenham might be your next best pub, thanks to its Georgian building and charming beer garden that is a favourite among locals. It’s another featured in the Good Beer Guide this year, and serves up local beers from Redemption Brewery.

But with nine charming pubs to choose from on CAMRA’s list, there are plenty of choices, whatever your preference, and of course, your furry friend can tag along too.

Are Emmerdale and Coronation Street on tonight and when are they back? Schedule revealed

Emmerdale and Coronation Street are missing from the ITV schedules for two days this week, before returning to the channel amid the football coverage – while EastEnders is still on

Soap fans have found their Emmerdale and Coronation Street schedules all over the place this week.

With football taking over on ITV1 once more, the soaps are not airing in their usual time slots, or even on their normal days. EastEnders is also being hit by a schedule shake-up this week.

But EastEnders still airs on it’s normal days for this week, while Corrie is not on at all this Wednesday or Thursday. So when are the soaps on next?

For EastEnders fans, you will still get your soap fix on both Wednesday and Thursday. It’s a bit later than normal on BBC One though, airing for 30 minutes at 8:30PM, instead of 7:30PM.

As for Corrie and Emmerdale, fans will not get their next episodes until Friday 19 June. For once, both soaps will be in their usual time slots too.

So Emmerdale fans, your next episode will air on ITV1 at 8PM on Friday, followed by Coronation Street’s next episode at 8:30PM on the same channel. The episodes will also be dropping on ITVX that morning.

Of course with no episodes on Wednesday or Thursday, there will be no ITVX episode to stream on these days. But rest assured for this week, your next soap action is Friday.

Of course next week, it’s chaos again. Friday’s episode teases big moments ahead. On Corrie, Debbie Webster is trapped in a nightmare after the gun drama at the garage.

While she clashes with Tracy Barlow, an incident with a balloon leaves her terrified as she mistakes the noise of it bursting for a gunshot. Betsy Swain has some news for Lisa and Carla, which could tease an exit.

Sam Blakeman’s family rally around him, while he asks to see Roy Cropper. Maria Connor is suspicious of Gary Windass when he reveals he’s booked a holiday for the whole family.

She’s still assuming Gary and Sarah Platt are having an affair. Meanwhile, Kit admires the engagement ring he’s bought for Sarah.

As for Emmerdale, Lewis Barton gets kidnapped after preparing for a holiday with his love interest Vinny Dingle. As Lewis packs a suitcase and goes to make his way to the airport, a van suddenly pulls up near him.

Masked men jump out and Lewis is taken, and next week we find out who is holding him hostage. It’s all part of Kev Townsend’s return storyline, with more to be revealed.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX. Coronation Street airs weeknights at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITV X. * Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads .
