PLUCKED from obscurity and then dropped when fans lose interest, men in reality TV shows often fare worse than their female counterparts.
While women regularly earn a fortune from brand endorsements, the guys can find themselves struggling after they are no longer on our TV screens.

Now the untimely deaths of The Only Way Is Essex cast members Jake Hall and Jordan Wright within a few months of each other has raised fears that ITV is failing in its duty of care for former reality TV stars.
A TV insider told The Sun: “The tragic deaths of Jake and Jordan have raised some serious red flags.
“No one is blaming ITV but there is definitely a pattern which emerges time and time again on all reality shows.
“Measures were put in place a number of years ago but it doesn’t seem to be enough.”
Artist and designer Jake, who joined Towie in 2015, had been living in Spain.
He was found dead in a pool of blood in a villa in Majorca last Wednesday morning after he seemingly crashed through a window.
A police source said witnesses described Jake as “agitated”, possibly from “alcohol and other substances he may have consumed”.
He had a number of struggles in recent years, from losing his fashion brand Prevu to being hit with a restraining order by ex-girlfriend Misse Beqiri, a model and the mother of his eight-year-old daughter River.

Yet right from the start of his telly career, Jake was open about being uncomfortable with fame.
Shortly after his debut on Towie, Jake said on This Morning: “The privacy part has been quite difficult because everyone knows your life within days of being on the show.”
The former firefighter said: “I had an enjoyable career for six years before I resigned to pursue a life in the limelight of reality TV — a choice that left me hugely unfulfilled, stagnant and lost.
“People think it’s glitz and glamour but the truth is very far from public perception.
“I really struggled.
“When I left I lost a huge part of myself and my sense of purpose.”
Jordan returned to firefighting in 2023 but he struggled to settle and in December moved to Thailand where he was looking forward to a “very exciting year ahead”.
He shared his new life with his 21,500 Instagram followers, but in March was found dead face down in a drainage canal on the island of Phuket.

CCTV footage appeared to show Jordan pacing erratically outside a hotel before bolting out of the complex shortly before his body was found.
Unfortunately, the two deaths were not Towie’s first.
In January 2021, Mick Norcross took his own life, aged 57.
The Sugar Hut owner and businessman had joined the show with his son Kirk, who now runs a waste removal business.
Addiction has also taken hold of a number of cast members, including James Argent, who suffered two near-fatal overdoses at home.
Arg’s drug binges cost him his relationship with co-star Lydia Bright, his job on Towie and other high- profile TV work.
Last year he was in trouble after pushing his former Miss Sweden partner Nicoline Artursson down some steps on holiday in Spain.
He admitted an offence of gender violence and was given a six-month prison sentence, suspended for two years.

Jake and Jordan’s deaths sent shockwaves through fans of Towie and its stars.
Charlie King, who was on the show in 2012 and 2013, has faced his own demons since he left the programme but believes his fellow cast members must “take responsibility”.
He told The Sun: “Reality stars in general are seeking something — whether it’s fame, attention or validation.
“It’s a two-way street — stars want to appear on the shows for that lifestyle and experience, and shows need the participants.
“I can’t say Towie gave me the best support when I finished on the show.
“I remember feeling lost and redundant, trying to navigate a life post the show and still having eyes on me.
“It was hard.
“I missed the show deeply and all that came with it.
“I think access to a counsellor or therapy in those first months or years after appearing is always a good idea.
“But I also don’t think it’s fair to point the finger at these shows for how individuals live their lives after — we have to take responsibility.”
James Lock battled body dysmorphia and says he has spent around £100k on getting work doneCredit: InstagramFollowing his stint on Towie, Charlie King was diagnosed with body dysmorphiaCredit: Shutterstock Editorial
Charlie added that producers offer much better support for their on-screen talent these days and that ITV “isn’t afraid to pull out cast members if they think it’s getting too much or they need a breather, which is great to see”.
Following his stint on Towie, Charlie was diagnosed with body dysmorphia and had a botched nose job.
Other lads from the show have also gone under the knife in a quest for perfection.
Bobby Norris is now almost unrecognisable after having a full deep plane facelift, neck lift and lower eyelid surgery.
James Lock has also battled body dysmorphia and says he has spent around £100,000 on getting work done.
On rival ITV show Love Island, telly bosses brought in a revised set of welfare measures in 2021, including “comprehensive” psychological support, after former stars Sophie Gradon and Mike Thalassitis took their own lives.
Their relatives blamed a lack of support from the show for contributing to their mental anguish.
Love Islanders are offered a minimum of eight therapy sessions when they return home.
They also get advice on coping with their finances.

But unlike Love Island, Towie cast members often appear on the show for years at a time.
A number of its former stars, including Yazmin Oukhellou and Tommy Mallet, have praised the support they have received while on the show — but what happens when the cameras stop rolling?
A telly insider revealed: “When women finish on a reality show, brand deals, an influencing career and other avenues are open to them — but it’s very different for men.
“They can get club PAs but that involves late nights and lots of booze.
“Some people like Jake or Tommy launch a career in fashion, but many struggle to achieve the dizzy heights they once enjoyed.”
Women, meanwhile, have made millions off the back of Towie, thanks to very successful business models.
Former glamour model Sam Faiers owns global collagen brand Revive and is worth £9million, and Gemma Collins is now a huge TV star with £7million in the bank.
Lucy Mecklenburgh — famed for throwing drinks on cheating Mario Falcone — now owns a thriving fitness brand and shows off her happy life on social media.
But there have also been a number of male Towie successes too.

These days he is worth at least £10millon thanks to a lucrative reality TV career, savvy personal branding and business ventures.
Another success story is Tommy Mallet, who launched luxury footwear and apparel brand Mallet London and more recently Ctrne trainers.
Tommy, Joey and Mark are living up to Towie’s theme tune The Only Way Is Up — and fans will hope there will be more men from the show who enjoy similar success.

She gave the cameras a sultry pout as she posed for snaps.
Maura looked very glamourous, opting to have her makeup glowy and bronzed and finished with a nude pink lipstick.
The Irish star – who is heading for theDancing With The Starsballroom – told Vulture that she won’t be returning to Fiji for the upcoming eighth season.
She said: “You won’t. I’ve done it for three years, and they’ll always be family to me, but I think it’s time to try something different.

Jedward star John Grimes has revealed that the Celebrity Ex On the Beach was put under security lockdown after the building was stormed by curious fans wondering what was going on

Jedward star John Grimes has revealed that the Celebrity Ex On the Beach villa was put under security lockdown. The former X Factor contestant, who shot to fame alongside his twin brother Edward on the ITV talent show in 2009, can currently be seen taking part in the fourth series of the Paramount+ hit, which began airing in March.
The former Celebrity Big Brother star, 34, filmed the show alongside Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan as well Toby Aromolaran and Curtis Pritchard, both of Love Island fame, and Towie’s Dani Imbert amongst a host of others, but this is one of the very rare times he has appeared on-screen alongside his twin.
The programme, which sees famous faces staying abroad and beginning relationships only for their former flames to get involved, is all filmed in Tenerife and John has now explained all about the fan intrusion that all took place in the sunny location. He said: “People knew the location of the villa.
Speaking to The Sun, he continued: “Fans and people in the local area were trying to come into the grounds. Things kept happening. It was the only lit up place in a desolate area, so people were like, ‘What’s that? Let’s try to get in…’ Producers were like, ‘We’re trying to film a show.’ Security stopped anyone from getting in!”
John, who alongside his twin, enjoyed hits with tracks like Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby) and Lipstick after finding fame on The X Factor, recently explained what it was like going solo for the reality show.
He said: “Every now and again there are some pre-judged opinions about me out there, but I think going on this show marks a new chapter because I did it on my own, away from Edward. It’s a different situation.
“I was just talking to [Edward] there on the phone. He was a huge supporter of me doing the show, as was Gemma [Collins]. She was very excited. At first, I was a bit kind of touch-and-go. I thought, “Oh, will I do this?”
The star, who was greeted by his ex-girlfriend Sarah Carragher during his time filming the series, also spoke of how he asked his brother for advice when he was approached to to the show.
“But obviously, I always confide in Edward and he was like, “Oh yeah, you should do it,” because you always end things on a neutral note with your exes. If they wash up on the beach, you possibly rekindle something, maybe start cleaning slates,” he added.
“I think it’s like, obviously, you take that risk going on the show. You don’t know who’s going to pull up, but the one that does pull up may say, “You know what, maybe I’ll give them another chance.” John recently revealed via social media that he and Sarah are back together, but the move was said to have angered bosses behind the scenes.
A source said: “John posting that he’s back with his ex was terrible timing as it makes his whole storyline on the show pointless. Cast were asked to keep a bit of mystery around who got back with their ex and who hooked up with who so people tuned in, but clearly John was so thrilled he just went ahead and posted without thinking.
“Bosses are fuming but it’s not like he did it on purpose. Sarah has been quietly telling her pals, as well as John, that she’s really nervous to be thrust into the spotlight and so John wanted to throw his support behind her all the way.”

Sharing snaps online, Olivia wrote: “I got this baby in Paris in Jan and today is her first day out,” before adding: “Taking her on an adventure.”
The former Love Island star is continuing her celebrations by jetting off to the US – taking her new handbag with her.
The £26k Hermès Birkin Olivia was travelling with appears to be a Birkin 30 in Rouge H leather with palladium hardware – one of the fashion house’s most sought-after styles.
Birkin bags are famously difficult to buy, with shoppers often facing years-long waiting lists and needing a strong purchase history with Hermès before being offered one.

Longtime friends and radio co-hosts Olivia and Pete were caught snogging in a popular bar in Soho earlier this year before jetting off to France on a secret holiday last month.
A source close to the pair previously told us they were “dating and enjoying their time together.”
In new pictures, Ross appeared to be thrilled to join them, flashing a thumbs up at a camera before getting into a waiting car. Other snaps showed his fellow soap legend Julie Hesmondhalgh jetting to the area ahead of filming.
Teasing what led to the Grant Mitchell star deciding to take part, an insider told the Sun: “He loves Traitors and thinks it’s a programme on another level, which is why he really wanted to take part.
“Ross loved the mix of psychological intrigue paired with some of the very physical trials that the group have to complete – both suit him perfectly.”
He is also reportedly hoping to appeal to a younger generation of viewers, who could be less familiar with his career so far.
“Plus he knows The Celebrity Traitors won’t just be watched by people who are familiar with his work, but by younger viewers who may be less familiar with Ross, and this opens him up to a whole new audience. He’s also a very BBC name and this is another big BBC show,” they added.
Joanne McNally, James Acaster and Joe Lycett were also named in the line-up, alongside social media content creator King Kenny, Love Island presenter Maya Jama and Romesh Ranganathan.
Industry actress Myha’la and Professor Hannah Fry rounded out the cast with Sharon Rooney, James Blunt, Sebastian Croft and Sharon Rooney.
While the gang have been all smiles so far while heading to Scotland, things will get very tense once filming kicks off and suspicion over the game sets in. Shortly after filming, the 21 celebs will be sorted into “faithfuls” and “traitors” as they battle it out for the charity cash prize.
It will be up to those faithfuls to weed out the sneaky traitors, who have been tasked with secretly killing them off in nightly visits to the turret.
Following the huge success of the first season, where around 15million people tuned in to see Alan Carr win the competition as a Traitor, fans have been eagerly-awaiting news of a second series, and have already predicted Michael, Richard and Miranda could be this year’s “big dogs ”.
The air date has not yet been announced, but the hit show is expected to return to screens in autumn.

But Maura, 35, reveals that some high-profile stars actually struggle to cope with her popularity and success.
She said: “My friends tell me that I need someone quieter than me.
“Some of my ex-partners didn’t like me overshadowing them — it was probably an ego thing.
“My friends keep saying that my next partner needs to let me shine and be who I am.”
The former hairdresser and grid girl showed she was not afraid to speak her mind on Love Island seven years ago.
Fans loved her and TV companies could not wait to snap her up.
She was soon signed for Dancing On Ice, and by 2024 she was starring on I’m A Celebrity.
Now she has cracked America, too.

She has just been announced as a competitor on Dancing With The Stars, the US version of Strictly, which follows on from her presenting Love Island USA and finishing runner-up on the American version of The Traitors in February.
It has led to her walking some of the biggest red carpets Stateside, including at the Oscars.
And her work there has seen her gain American friends, including fellow Traitors star and Melrose Place actress Lisa Rinna.
Maura recently went to Lisa’s home for an event and was blown over by the relationship she has with husband of 29 years, Clash Of The Titans and L.A. Law star Harry Hamlin.
Maura told Cosmopolitan: “Harry gave a speech, and I sat there thinking, ‘That’s exactly what I want’. He spoke about her with so much respect, and he adores her.
“I genuinely thought, ‘That’s the type of relationship I want. I want a man to let me be me and not try to dim my light’.”
It was during her stint on the fifth series of ITV2 reality series Love Island that she began her first high-profile romance, with Curtis Pritchard.
After leaving the villa, they dated for eight months but Maura says: “I feel like starting on Love Island is why everyone is so invested in my love life and wants to know whether I’m single or dating.”

It is probably also because there have been so many relationships with fellow celebrities.
Next came another ex-Love Islander, Chris Taylor, in 2020, followed by Strictly pro Giovanni Pernice in 2021.
At the time, friends said he had “never felt like this about anyone before”. But four months later it ended, leaving Maura reportedly “blindsided”.
Next came Towie lothario Pete Wicks. The pair split in February last year after a series of rows.
And on Valentine’s Day she was overheard telling a friend who asked where he was: “I don’t know, probably cheating”.
But the following month, she was caught in a cheating drama of her own — kissing married I’m A Celeb campmate Danny Jones, the McFly guitarist, at a Brit Awards after-party. He later apologised to his wife.

Maura then started to spend more time in America.
Now, the announcement that she will star in the new series of the US dance show cements her place as America’s Irish sweetheart.
But many people are now commenting on her accent, with American fans on social media joking about her saying, “tink”, instead of “think”.
Maura told Cosmo mag: “Everyone’s spelling it T-I-N-K! Even I’m doing it now.
“My Irish fans — they’re all DM-ing and making videos. I’ve seen a few Irish people get defensive and say, ‘You shouldn’t be doing this’.
“But look, if I’m OK with people making fun, then I tink it’s fine.”
After she landed the job on Dancing With The Stars she told fans: “I tink I’m very excited.” And she told American TV show ABC News how she “manifested” her appearance on the dance show.
She said: “I was asked to do Dancing With The Stars Ireland when I first came off Love Island. But around that time there was a lot going on.
Maura says she was previously tempted to do Strictly – but wanted to save herself for the US versionCredit: Rex FeaturesMaura says when she is feeling at her best she is ready to take on the worldCredit: Rex
“And then when Strictly came about I was very tempted because I always wanted to do a dance show.
“I dunno, like my sights were always set on Dancing With The Stars America and I didn’t want to do anything that would jeopardise that position.
“It’s something I’ve been manifesting. I’ve had it on my vision board for the past couple of years.
“And now it’s actually happening. I cannot believe it.”
Maura revealed that although she rarely cries, she was overcome with emotion when she landed the gig.
She said: “I don’t get like that about anything. I don’t think I’ve ever had a moment like that, but because I really wanted it . . .
“If I could get to the finale I’d be over the moon. Obviously I’d love to win. I’ve never won a show in my life.”
It does mean, though, that she will be spending more time in America — and less in the £1.25million home she bought last year in a gated community in Essex.
Maura was so excited when she got the keys that she set up her own Casa A’Maura Instagram — a nod to the Casa Amor villa on Love Island.
But since then she has barely been at the house and only posted twice — one picture of her bean bags in an empty lounge and a second of her cooking pasta, with Sex And The City playing on a TV in the background.
She previously revealed she has not had time to furnish it as she has not been home due to her hectic schedule.
As well as her TV career, Maura has also landed lucrative tie-ins with brands including Primark, L’Oreal Paris, Mac, Ann Summers, Victoria’s Secret and Uber.
Her face may be everywhere, but it has also come under scrutiny on social media, with some asking if she has had tweakments.
Others have commented about her weight loss since her days on Love Island.
Maura told Allure mag: “I have never in my life had cheek filler. If they’re talking about Botox, however, yes, I do get Botox.
“But the only filler I’ve ever had was lip filler, and I’ve not had it in years.
“I’ve had my teeth done. I had Invisalign when I came out of Love Island, and then I had bonding over my teeth, which obviously is going to change my face a lot.”
But one thing she is never without is a spray tan — something that will hold her in good stead as she competes for the glitterball as Ireland’s current hottest export.
She said: “When I’m tanned I feel good, and I’m ready to take on the world”.
Love Island presenter and Entrepreneur Maya Jama is heading in to the Traitors castle for the new series for Celebrity Traitors but she is pleading with fans to do this one thing…

Maya, who is currently on a break from filming Love Island, took to Instagram to react to the news of her being a part of the iconic TV game show, which will air later this year.
Posting the announcement on her Instagram Story, she said: “Secret’s out,” before pleading with fans with a hand over the eye emoji and said: “wish me luck”.
This message suggests that the star might not be the most confident, with the presenter herself unaware just yet whether she will be a goodie or a baddie in this game.
From then on, their objective will be to identify which participants are making nocturnal trips to the turret dressed in those distinctive hooded cloaks – selecting which remaining contestants will be murdered.
Also taking part is BBC presenter Amol Rajan, The Last of Us actress Bella Ramsey and comedian James Acaster – not to be mixed up with You’re Beautiful singer James Blunt, who has also signed up.
This comes after Maya recently admitted she “is ready to move on” from presenting, as she eyes up a new career in acting. Drama was actually the TV star’s first love, with Maya, 31, auditioning for Channel 4‘s hit teen series Skins when she was just 15.
Despite getting to the final stages, she didn’t make it into the cast, which launched the careers of the likes of Nicholas Hoult, Dev Patel and Daniel Kaluuya. And now the Bristol-born star, who is in a relationship with Man City footballer Ruben Dias, is ready to leave presenting to go back into acting.
Speaking to the BBC, Maya revealed she got “disheartened” after having to many unsuccessful auditions as a teen, leading her to give up on her dream. But now, after filming has wrapped for the upcoming release of the second season of Netflixcrime thriller The Gentlemen, Maya’s love for the art has been reignited.
She told the broadcaster that her “dream role” would be to play a villain, but she “naturally fell into presenting roles” after starting out on YouTube. After a few years on social media, she made the move to TV to co-host ITVgame show Cannonball, as well as MOBO Awards in 2017.
The year after she booked to host reality show The Circle and then ITV2 panel show Don’t Hate the Playaz. Of course, Jama’s big break came in 2022 when she replaced Laura Whitmoreas the host for hit ITV reality dating show, Love Island.
Maya added: “I always remember when I started being like ‘how on Earth am I going to get on primetime TV as a girl from Bristol doing YouTube videos’ – it seemed like a massive reach.”
She added: “I naturally fell into presenting when I was young because I got to be myself on camera and I’m interested in humans”, adding: “Now it just feels like the doors opened up again [to get into acting]”. Maya said she is “ready to do something else after presenting for so long.”
Maya reportedly plays the glam wife of a friend of lead character Eddie Horniman, alongside the likes of Vinnie Jones and Ray Winstone. She spent time in 2025 filming at Gloucestershire’s Grade II listed building Badminton House, which is Eddie’s home.
The TV personality soft-launched her new gig with the streamer on social media at the start of last year. She teased her followers on Instagram when she posted a snap of a cast list with the Netflix logo on it.
She also shared a peek of a Netflix script, and posted a photo of her and Skins star Kaya, who plays mob boss Susie Glass in the show. Further adding to the speculation around what is next for Maya, she posted a photo of a Netflix mug, with fans then certain she was working on something big.

The pair have been getting close over recent months, and a source tells The Sun that the smitten couple are “really happy” after making their romance official.
They revealed: “Mimii and Denzel are really happy together.
“She keeps a fairly low profile compared to a lot of the Love Island winners, so for her to hard launch him on her socials means she is definitely smitten.

She explained: “At the drs now as a follow up from my smear test the other day.

In the next picture, she explained that the cells actually didn’t have to be burned off in the end, but she did have to undergo more tests.

Sharing a mirror selfie from the bathroom following the appointment, Maya said: “So turns out I didn’t need the cells burned off but a mini biopsy to monitor the cells further.
“Again reminder to go in if you are putting it off.”
Cells are removed or “burned off” to stop them from developing into cervical cancer in the future.
Smear tests can determine whether any abnormal cells are present and whether this needs to be done.
The medical trip came as Maya had just touched down back home after a quick trip to Ibiza, with the star sharing that it was a “fun 24h” before returning home.
Before that, she spent a romantic few days in Italy with boyfriend Ruben Dias.
Maya shared an Instagram photo dump of the break to Rome, which included visits to the Sistine Chapel and the classical Vatican Gardens with with her Man City star boyfriend.
And she gushed about the trip to her three million fans, writing: “Can you tell I love it here?”

And she gushed about the trip to her three million fans, writing: “Can you tell I love it here?”
Maya, who, like Ant and Dec, is a pro at live TV, has now given her verdict on the huge on-air bust-up.
Taking to X/Twitter, the popular presenter, 31, shared a clip of the fallout between Ant and Dec and Jimmy, and penned: “Didn’t watch but from this clip alone (laughing emoji).
“This is why I love live tv so much and hosting the (Love Island) Aftersun show because barely any channels do it anymore out of fear of what can go wrong but people want real reactions and an edited show will never compete to the live experience!”
Showing her support for the I’m A Celebrity hosts, she added: “Ant and Dec I love you forever also.”

Though now Molly-Mae has hinted this pregnancy could be her final maternity journey.
In her new YouTube clip entitled A Week With Me and Prepping For My Baby Shower, she told how she had originally planned her celebrations to be an outdoor cinema event at her home.
Yet she changed things up after thinking she would be “dreading” it and feeling “anxious” about bringing friends together from different groups.
She said: “I thought no it’s just a lot, so I thought just swerve it basically.
“So I ended up swerving it – sorry I have really got verbal diarrhrea – but I also was like well this might be my last baby.
“I really want to do something to celebrate it”.
Molly-Mae then planned a baby brunch event in Manchester, with a jeans and a nice top dress code.
Though her family plans might have poured cold water on Tommy’s dreams of a bigger brood.
Previously, Tommy told a Love Island spin off show: “In 10 years’ time I’d definitely like to see myself married with kids; four kids, five kids, 20 kids – whatever.”
During the chat, Molly’s mouth then dropped open as she exclaimed: “FIVE kids?”
He smiled: “Yeah, I want an army of kids.”

From Love Island to a diamond ring and baby – we look at how Molly and Tommy have got to where they are today.
But the influencer refused to entertain the idea, and told him: “Well that’s not happening, we’re not doing five kids. Two, maximum.”
In another chat, he explained: “Apart from boxing, having a family is what I’m really looking forward to”.
Tyson admitted: “My love life’s thriving, I’m having sex at least four or five times a week.
“Paris, she is that ride-or-die chick. The woman’s been my wife for 20 years near on.
“Is she the luckiest lady on Earth? One hundred per cent.”

Olivia, who was wearing a £2k leather jacket from Magda Butrym, and Pete were snapped by a fan at the Broadwick Hotel in London’s Soho on Friday evening.
The fan said: “Everyone knows they’re dating now even though they’ve not confirmed it, but it was still surprising to see the PDA.
“It goes beyond the hand on arm and hugging we’ve seen from them in public since the pics of them kissing first emerged.
“They just looked like a normal couple on date night, holding hands.
Earlier in the day, Olivia and Pete looked equally loved up as they smoked a cigarette outside a London office.
The pair only had eyes for each other as they chatted happily together.
Olivia was dressed casually in a white tracksuit, as she enjoyed her new man’s company.
It comes after the new couple have just returned from a secret getaway to the South of France.
The pair, who were also spotted on a romantic dog walk, were seen collecting their luggage from the baggage carousel at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport in the South of France on Sunday.

Former Love Island star Olivia, and podcast co-host Pete flew Business Class on British Airways from London’s Heathrow to Nice.
An onlooker said: “They were seen at the gate and they were very loved-up and cuddling each other.

Olivia and Pete usually host their own Kiss FM radio show together on Sundays but were absent from the programme this week as they jetted off on their secret holiday.
The Sun revealed how the pair enjoyed a three-night break at the luxury Lily of the Valley hotel in St Tropez – costing £1,000 a night.
Eagle-eyed fans mused how they had spotted Pete’s trademark glasses on the table in one of Olivia’s social media pics from the trip
It led one fan to remark to The Sun: “It seems they tried to keep it all under wraps but seeing Pete’s glasses in the background of Olivia’s snaps appeared to give the game away.”
The Sun has contacted reps for Olivia and Pete for comment.
ZACH Noble’s fans have been left horrified after they spotted a concerning detail in his sweet post with pregnant girlfriend Ava Hirons.
The Love Island star, 28, took to Instagram on Saturday to share a series of pictures of the pair on holiday.

The couple are seen posing up a storm on a boat as they went scuba diving in the blue water and kicked back in the sea for the loved-up snaps.
However, in two pictures, Zach was spotted puffing on a cigarette, which left his fans concerned, especially since Ava, 24, is pregnant with their first child.
One person commented: “Smoking around her is crazy.”
Another Instagram user expressed: “Ok Zacahriah. How are you so into fitness and smoking. Noo not when your about to go into fatherhood. Just NO.”
Somebody else warned: “Second hand smoke is a thing, be careful.”
Yet another said: “I can’t believe people smoke in this day and age! It’s not like the old days when people didn’t know how harmful it is. You’re going to be a dad c’mon set a good example.”’
While a fifth concerned fan added: “Please don’t smoke around your pregnant girlfriend and especially the newborn.
“Second hand smoke can increase the risk of SIDS massively. Perfect time to try quitting.”
The pair announced they’re expecting their first child together in February as he shared a scan picture on Instagram and penned: “Incoming summer ‘26.”
The two had previously dropped many telltale hints that suggested they had a baby on the way.
On December 18, Zach took to his Instagram stories revealing to fans that he had just received the “greatest news.”
He wrote: “Just found out the greatest news I think I’ve ever received. God must be real. Time to grind like never before.”
That same day Ava, who is daughter of This Morning star Caroline Hirons, took to her own page to repost an Instagram reel about pregnancy fitness training.
She then went on to upload one of her staple TikTok videos of her dancing where a baby bump could be seen peeking out underneath her hoodie.
They announced they were expecting back in February
In the following days, the pair also both followed a host of parenting accounts.
Earlier this week, Zach and Ava announced their baby’s gender with a carousel of recent pictures to tell fans the happy news.
The first photo saw a stripey baby grow, hat, tiny shoes and 3D ultrasound pictures laid out on a bed.
In another snap, the couple cuddled up and beamed in delight.
They were both wearing black but Ava had her hair tied back in a blue scarf…
And, you might have guessed it, Ava and Zach captioned the post: “It’s a boy.”
Elsewhere, the former basketball player was spotted kissing Ava’s growing bump.
Their relationship was confirmed in October after the pair were caught by a TikTok influencer while having a stroll in London.
They solidified their relationship further by moving in with each other last month, in anticipation for the birth of their child.

For the first time ever, BBC will air the first ever full-length series of the show – six episodes filmed across six weeks – as the celebrities face a range of weekly business challenges set by the business mogul.
Competing for the chance to win a £100,000 donation to a charity of their choice, they will each be hoping to prove their business acumen and ultimately be crowned The Celebrity Apprentice winner.
There will be another change to this star-studded series – the boardroom will relocate to a London City skyscraper, providing a distinctive new setting for Lord Sugar’s final deliberations.
The full line up includes Alexandra Burke, actor Danny Miller, presenter Gethin Jones, dancer and presenter Jordan Banjo, journalist Kay Burley, actress and online personality Maddie Grace Jepson, presenter, podcaster and content creator Max Balegde, Gladiator Sheli McCoy, UK garage legend DJ Spoony, TV and BBC Radio 2 presenter Richie Anderson, comedian and writer Laura Smyth and television personality Toni Laites.
Lord Sugar said: “We’ve not done anything like this before, and it’ll be entertaining to see these 12 celebrities being put through six weeks of some brilliant business challenges. But just because they’re celebrities, it doesn’t mean they’re going to get an easy ride, especially when there’s £100,000 at stake for their chosen charity.”
Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment Commissioning at the BBC says: “This brand-new full-length series of The Celebrity Apprentice takes everything audiences love about the format and turns the pressure right up. This year’s celebrities arrive with strong reputations – but in the boardroom, status counts for nothing.
“They’ll be tested on leadership, teamwork and commercial instinct, and only those who can truly deliver will make it through. It’s bold, unpredictable and hugely entertaining – and viewers are in for a brilliant ride.”
Broadcast details for The Celebrity Apprentice will be confirmed in due course. The announcement comes after Karishma Vijay was crowned the winner of the BBC business show last week after an all-female final, which saw her battle it out for Lord Sugar’s coveted investment against Pascha Myhill.
Karishma, from Surrey, recounted the moment Lord Sugar told her she had won and would be receiving his £250,000 investment, and said: “I was so blown away, so shocked – but I kept it very cool. Then, I got in my car and I was screaming. It was just insane – I can’t believe I’ve gone and done it after not having watched the show, I feel like that’s so cheeky.”
Explaining his decision on the hit BBC show, Lord Sugar said: “As always, it was close competition in the final after two outstanding pitches by two brilliant young businesswomen. But Karishma really impressed me throughout the process and has proven why she deserves my investment. She’s a proper grafter and she’s got that entrepreneurial spirit that I always look for. The cosmetics industry is one I know a lot about, and I know our partnership will pave the way for a bright future.”
With its sunsoaked Californian desert setting, A-list celeb guests and top music acts, hip US festival Coachella might look like the dream destination when scrolling through the Instagram feed of one of the myriad of Love Island stars in attendance.
But while influencers are given the VIP experience, thanks to the brands who pay big bucks to take them there for free, the reality for normal punters can be a whole different story.

As the cult festival kicks off its second consecutive weekend in Palm Springs, social media has been awash with complaints from regular folk exposing the ‘truth’ about what it’s like to go there as a non VIP – and it makes for some pretty grim reading.
From nightmarish queues for cold showers, to hefty £3,000 price tags for three days at the event, various TikTok testimonials may make you think twice before booking for next year’s gig.
As someone who went as a normal person and not as an influencer, it was one of the worst concert experiences I’ve ever had,” TikTok user @lottiestars ranted in a recent social media video.
“Firstly, there’s no place for you to be dropped off. The festival is, like, really disorganised. So I remember we asked 20 different people: ‘Where do we go?’ and they they were like: ‘Oh, we don’t know’. And they actually worked for the event! So you’ll end up sitting in traffic for most of the time before you can find a spot and get dropped off.”
She added that when she then finally arrived, the event proved a nightmare for her pal who was disabled.
“You have another what feels like an hour long walk to actually get into the festival, you have to do is on this super dusty, bumpy, unpaved road, which was really hard for my friend because they were in a wheelchair… they kept getting knocked over and falling out of their wheelchair, so it was not like wheelchair accessible.”
Once inside the venue, Lottie alleged that the atmosphere was not enjoyable thanks to a myriad of influencers creating a stressful environment.
“Everyone’s vibe is really, really bad. A lot of people were pretty mean. They’re like, ‘No, you’re not coming this way and stuff, you can’t go through’ so it’s harder to work your way through the crowd or to reconnect through your friends.
“It’s not as easy to take cute pictures as you think. Literally, everyone’s taking pictures. It’s like a field of cow, but instead of cows, it’s people.”
To top it all, Lottie wrapped up her video by claiming she got sick from the notorious desert winds.
Tiktokker Lottie Stars described her experience as “terrible”Punters cover their noses to escape the dusty windsCredit: TikTok
She said: “I was so sick because during the daytime, it’s burning hot, and then at nighttime, it’s freezing cold, and the dust is really, really intense. Like, you’ll blow your nose, and they’ll be black dirt coming out of your nose.
“The third night, I couldn’t even enjoy the festival, and I probably was only there for like 30 minutes and I had to leave.”
And it seems this is far from a one-off negative review.
The Strokes fan @emilyjadebispo says her experience watching her favourite band was ruined by influencers who were only there to watch Justin Bieber and had no idea about ‘festival etiquette’.
She claimed: “The people around me who were there for Justin Bieber were f***ing insufferable. Oh, my God. It’s like they have never been to a festival before. They have no idea what it’s like that other genres exist.
“They are just completely unaware of any sort of concert etiquette at all. The people to my left, during one of my favourite bands sets, were talking the entire time saying: ‘I don’t even know who this is. What even is this? This is really honestly killing my vibe for Bieber.’”
For those who camp and aren’t holed up in pricey villas like the influencer crowd, some describe the experience as “endurance training.”

@huioyg3 said in one TikTok video: “Basic shower access has turned into a survival challenge, people are waiting in line for hours just to get a quick rinse, often with freezing cold water.
“To avoid this nightmare, some festival goers are spending hundreds of dollars on portable shower setups, building their own tents just to maintain a sense of hygiene.
“Another issue is making things worse, extreme heat. Phones are overheating, energy levels are dropping, and what’s supposed to be a fun four day experience is starting to feel more like endurance training.”
Of course, the biggest issue for many is how the festival impacted their wallet.
General admission tickets cost around $799 [£590] for three days, while VIP – which allows you to get closer to the stage and gives you a shuttle pass into the venue – will mean you shell out even more, clocking in around $1299 [£959].
“Coachella started as a low price event to protest against high cost events,” one music fan vented online.
“How are people affording this?” fumed another.
Some, however, claimed it was worth the price of VIP.
“It was 100% worth it We do get closer viewing to some of the stages. And honestly, when the big performers do come out, it gets super packed,” said tiktok user @noesilva
If you shun camping though, hotels can be extortionate due to high demand, as Noa explains.
“Next thing I spent money on was a hotel, which was the most expensive part. It was $2,300 [£1698] for three nights, and I know it sounds like a lot of money, but for me personally, I was not going to go camping.
And finally, you got to think of all the extra expenses that are probably gonna be happening during the trip, which is food, drinks, merch, like all the extra stuff that you’re going to be paying for, and realistically, that’s going to cost me around $500 [£370]. So in total, this trip is costing me around $4,000 [£2950].”
Another furious former Coachella fan, Nick Holiday, summed it up in a top-rated TikTok video.
“They’re charging $100 [£74]for one bite of caviar, four chicken nuggets and seven french fries. That’s honestly a crime against humanity.”

The 26-year-old, dubbed the “Candyman,” has owned sweet business, Sweet Delivery since 2019.
His business journey started in the back of his VW Polo, where he sold pick and mix out of pizza boxes in his local area, Hertford.
But now, it seems the TV star has faced a slew of backlash from fans who are simply not happy with the business’s customer service.
Taking to TikTok Sean was forced to apologise for his business’s mishaps.
He said: “Our customer service has been shocking. I sincerely apologise for this. Recently we’ve had a large amount of orders come through the door, where to be honest we had a system in place for our customer service but there was not enough time and effort put into that.
“However, I have got some exciting news we now have a dedicated staff member that will be working Monday to Friday on all your customer queries.”
Despite the addition of a new staff member, fans are still waiting to hear back on their orders.
Sean continued: “Now I know there’s some of you still waiting to hear back from us; I do kindly ask as annoyed as you may be please send us another email.”
The Islander then confessed: “If I’m being honest it’s been an eye-opener for myself to see how important customer service is. I do apologise to anyone being upset and frustrated that they haven’t received their order yet.
“I’m making a change and it’s going to be an amazing change moving forward.”

Fans in the comments of his apology video were very divided.
One fan penned: “Honestly this kind of accountability is really refreshing to see, and it’s clear you’ve taken the feedback seriously and put steps in place to fix things…”
Another fan wrote: “Are you for real! How can you not realise customer service is important it’s what makes and breaks a business.”
A third person said: “Well said Sean, holding your hands up is always the best way.”
Meanwhile, a fourth fan added: “I think you just blew up faster than you thought you would.”
Sean returned from the Love Island villa back in February and after a short break in Paris with his new girlfriend Lucinda Strafford, who he met on the show, he has been back to business.

Jack looked pleased with himself after he met with producers for a big project for a Channel 5 show.
He sported a retro look in an 1980s Sergio Tacchini tracksuit which caught the attention of a few passer by who stopped to take selfies with Jack.
Jack added a pair of aviator sunglasses to his look and black trainers.
He looked in a high spirits after spending the afternoon with bosses for a secret new telly appearance, which is yet to be announced.
Jack opened up on life post rehab as he took to Instagram.
He admitted that he’s currently homeless and is not sure where to go moving forward as there’s nothing “much left” for him in England.
He said: “In case anyone is wondering where I am, I’m staying a hotel with the dog. I’m just gonna reset and work out what to do and where I wanna live.
“Got my beautiful dog Elvis, without him I probably wouldn’t even be here to be honest.”
Jack has owned his black Cane Corso dog, named Elvis, since at least September 2022, when the dog was involved in a biting incident.
Despite legal trouble regarding the dog being “dangerously out of control” in 2022 and June 2024, Jack has expressed his attachment to the pet.

The second incident that occurred in June 2024 led to a suspended sentence for Jack in 2025.
Meanwhile, Jack’s relationship with his family hasn’t been the same since he returned home.
Jack added: “One thing they told me in rehab and it’s true, you’re not gonna walk out of rehab to a red carpet rolled out for you because it’s stuff you should have been doing anyway.”
He also thanked the staff from his rehab, saying “that level of kindness I wasn’t used to for a while, I found it quite alien.”
Jack remains optimistic and hopes to get back into TV, saying: “I’m gonna do my acting and get back into TV work, I’m gonna do all the things I said I was gonna do.”
Jack previously did a stint in rehab back in 2021, but relapsed before Christmas last year.
He spoke of the spiral back in January, he explained: “Since then I have done drugs, I have done laughing gas.
“I have been so drunk that I’ve kissed a woman over Christmas and don’t even remember doing it. I’m embarrassed, mortified. I feel like an idiot.
“I am a 33-year-old man. I should be settled down, married. Instead I need help.”
Jack first shot to fame on Love Island, where he won over the nation with his charm and went on to win the series.
