Loose Women

Loose Women axed from ITV schedules for weeks in major shake-up

Loose Women presenter Kaye Adams confirmed the ITV daytime show will be off air for several weeks.

ITV is undergoing a scheduling shake-up as Loose Women is set to be off air for several weeks.

During the programme on Friday, July 17, presenter Kaye Adams made an announcement and confirmed when the show would return.

The Scottish presenter was back on Loose Women alongside GK Barry, Oti Mabuse and Kelle Bryan, as they marked the end of the week, and the end of the programme for a short break.

Kate shared: “we’re done for the summer. We will not be gone for long though, we’ll be back in September. For now, have a fabulous weekend, a fabulous summer and we’ll see you very soon!”

The scheduling change follows a wave of budget cuts which impacted Good Morning Britain and Lorraine, alongside Loose Women.

It was revealed months ago that Loose Women would now only broadcast for 30 weeks rather than its customary 52, reports the Express.

During the shake-up, Lorraine Kelly’s show has been reduced to 30 minutes, and also operates on a seasonal schedule only.

The biggest change that faced Loose Women was the fact live audiences were scrapped, as well as several behind-the-scenes job.

Presenter Nadia Sawalha previously shared her devastation that warm-up performer Lee Peat was dropped, saying: “I am totally devastated by this fact, I can’t get over it at all. Not only because the audience is so important for the show, but also my dear friend Lee who I work with every day.”

Coleen Nolan also shared her concerns for the cast and crew, calling those redundancies “heartbreaking” and “devastating”.

Loose Women also relocated in January to a basement studio of a former private members’ club in Covent Garden, sharing the venue with This Morning and Lorraine.

Announcing the changes last year, Kevin Lygo, Managing Director of ITV’s Media and Entertainment Division, previously said: “Daytime is a really important part of what we do, and these scheduling and production changes will enable us to continue to deliver a schedule providing viewers with the news, debate and discussion they love from the presenters they know and trust as well generating savings which will allow us to reinvest across the programme budget in other genres.

“These changes also allow us to consolidate our news operations and expand our national, international and regional news output and to build upon our proud history of trusted journalism at a time when our viewers need accurate, unbiased news coverage more than ever.”

Loose Women star pays tribute to colleague after ‘sudden’ death

Loose Women star Judi Love was visibly emotional as she paid tribute to chef Dom Taylor.

Loose Women star Judi Love paid tribute to a colleague minutes into the ITV programme.

The comedian struggled to hold back tears as she was consoled by her co-stars.

Judi had returned to Loose Women following a brief absence, with fellow presenters Christine Lampard, Kelly Brook and Janet Street-Porter giving her a warm welcome back.

But she had some heartbreaking news to share with viewers. Judi began: “Life, highs and lows.”

She spoke about her recent tour, having sold out Hammersmith Apollo, saying: “That was amazing, it was such a beautiful night. As a comedian, that’s something that you dream of doing so actually doing it and selling out as a solo artist was phenomenal.”

She continued: “But life has its highs and it has its lows, and one of the lows that’s just only happened over the weekend is I lost a dear friend and a colleague, Dominic Taylor.”

Judi paid tribute to the “phenomenal” chef, who worked on her show, Our Table.

She said: “I remember first meeting him and tasting his food and it was amazing, it was a dream to work with him so when he said yes, that he would do my show, I was beyond happy,” reports the Express.

She added: “I just want to send my love to all of his close friends and his family, we’re here for you. We’ll never forget you, Dominic.”

Judi went on: “It reminds you to spend time with the ones you love and appreciate the small things so, it’s a beauty in the midst of all of that I’m back here with you.”

Tributes have been paid to TV chef Dom Taylor, who won Channel 4’s Five Star Kitchen: Britain’s Next Great Chef in 2023, after he passed away “suddenly”, according to a statement released by his team.

Their statement added: “Dom was a visionary whose bold, joyful approach to celebrating the Caribbean cuisine of his childhood brought a fresh and exciting voice to London’s restaurant scene.

“His passion, talent and generosity touched so many people, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him and experiencing his food.

“His passion, talent and generosity touched so many people, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him and experiencing his food.”

Among those paying tribute in the comments, Fred Sirieix shared: “So sad.”

One fan wrote: “I didn’t know Chef Dom Taylor personally, but the meal I had at The Good Front Room at the Langham’s Palm Court for my birthday was unforgettable. Hearing this news has truly shocked me. My condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and all the patrons who loved his work. May he rest in eternal peace.”

Another added: “Dom gave me my first ever job/job in the cheffing world and taught me so much. So sad to hear this news and sending lots of love to family, friends, and staff during this heartbreaking time.”

Vogue Williams admits ‘one of the worst’ parenting decisions live on Loose Women

Vogue Williams appeared as a guest panellist on Loose Women on Monday, where she made a candid admission

Vogue Williams made a candid confession during the latest instalment of Loose Women.

The 40-year-old Irish TV personality appeared as a guest panellist on the ITV daytime show on Monday (July 6), joining Charlene White, Coleen Nolan, and Jane Moore.

The panel swiftly turned their focus to England’s FIFA World Cup victory over Mexico in the early hours of the morning. Jude Bellingham scored twice in 98 seconds to put England ahead, before Julian Quinones pulled one back for Mexico just three minutes before the break.

The drama continued, as Jarell Quansah was shown a red card after 54 minutes for a high challenge on Jesus Gallardo, with both sides subsequently converting a penalty each.

While chatting about the match, Vogue confessed that she and her husband, Spencer Matthews, had made “one of the worst” parenting decisions that morning, reports the Irish Mirror.

She said: “I did not stay up but my husband decided to watch it with the kids this morning and it was not as harmonious as your house [talking to Charlene].

“One of the worst decisions we’ve ever made, because we have such small ones and they all get a turn. So, my son was throwing a wobbly that he hadn’t had his turn on the TV while they’re trying to watch it. So, it wasn’t great this morning actually.”

While Vogue found watching the match with her young children, Theodore, Gigi and Otto, rather testing, Charlene had quite a contrasting experience with her eight-year-old son, Alfie.

“We were all very excited about it so Alfie wanted to stay up and [I was like], ‘Absolutely not, you’re eight years old,'” she explained.

“But what we did is he woke up at six so he could watch the whole thing, [and] if there was loads of extra time and penalties, he would have time to watch that before going to school. So, all phones were off. The TV was definitely on iPlayer to make sure they definitely didn’t suddenly see the result, and he was really excited on the sofa at 6am.”

Meanwhile, Coleen revealed that she had attempted to stay up until 1am, but drifted back off to sleep upon discovering the match had been pushed back by an hour.

“I thought, ‘I can’t do it,’ so I kind of fell back to sleep,” she said, before disclosing that she had watched the entire second half.

“They were just unbelievable… It was so exciting, what a match,” she added.

Elsewhere in the episode, the stars opened up about the difficulties they’ve encountered after their children flew the nest for the first time, with Vogue expressing her anxiety about the prospect of her own kids eventually being old enough to move out.

“Even the thought of them going is just heartbreaking to me. I want to be the mum with the house that everyone wants to come to and they all want to spend time with us,” she said.

Myleene Klass reveals she’s turned down Hear’Say reunion AGAIN

MYLEENE Klass has revealed she has yet again turned down joining a Hear’Say reunion, as the band hits their 25 year anniversary.

It comes five years after the singer and TV personality revealed she had rejected re-joining her bandmates Kym Marsh, Danny Foster, Suzanne Shaw, and Noel Sullivan.

Back in December, Kym heavily hinted that the band would be returning in 2026 for a special performance.

However, Myleene, 48, has now confirmed she won’t be involved in that.

She said on today’s Loose Women: “I loved my time in Hear’say, I know it’s 25 years this year.

“Listen, they’ve had their discussions and I fully back them to go ahead and do a reunion.

Myleene said she isn’t ‘in a position’ to say yet to joining them, but will be there to support a reunion from the sidelines

“It’s not something I can commit to right at this moment. But you go and, you know, I’ll be front row – singing Pure And Simple!”

Myleene then admitted she wasn’t sure it was possible to recapture the magic of the band when it was first formed.

She said: “Generally speaking, I think it’s very hard to replicate the feeling of the first time.”

Hear’Say were put together on the talent show Popstars and in March 2001, their single Pure And Simple became, at the time, the fastest-selling debut single in the UK.

In December, Kym said of a reunion: “I always laugh and say ‘never say never’ about a Hear’Say reunion.

“We might pop up somewhere, just for a one-off performance down the line, to surprise everyone.”

Myleene was previously asked to take part in a Hear’Say reunion, revealing in 2021 that she had turned it down.

She said at the time: “There was definitely talk last year. Suzie came to my house just to have the discussion.  I said, ‘look at the minute, I have so much on’.”

Frankie Bridge reveals she’s been diagnosed with life-changing condition after Loose Women co-star spotted symptoms

FRANKIE Bridge has revealed she’s been diagnosed with ADHD after her Loose Women co-star Denise Welch spotted the symptoms and urged her to get tested.

The 37-year-old has previously been open about her battle with depression and anxiety and now she believes she’s found the “last missing piece” with her attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder diagnosis.

Speaking on her latest YouTube vlog, the former Saturdays star told her viewers: “I found out today that I’ve got ADHD.

“Denise was like, ‘I got diagnosed with ADHD and it’s completely changed my life – my depression and my anxiety is so much better’.

She was like, ‘let me put you in touch with [a specialist]. You can just see’. I was a bit like, ‘yeah, I mean, I could be’.”

The mum-of-two continued: “I’ve been battling with [the diagnosis] all day. Part of me is like, what a relief, because it does make sense to me.

“When I went on the call, I was not sure if this was going to really resonate with me. But by the end of it, I was like, ‘f***, it really does’.

“It’s kind of reassuring. Not that it makes excuses for it, but I can hopefully try and feel less guilt because I’m such a perfectionist, and all that is part of it.”

According to the NHS, those with ADHD are significantly more likely to experience depression and anxiety.

ADHD itself can cause emotional dysregulation, making individuals more prone to intense emotions and making it harder to soothe themselves when feeling down or worried.

The I’m A Celebrity star added: “Hopefully this is the last missing piece that is going to help.

“They do say with a lot of women, we’re not diagnosed ’til we’re a lot older, and by then, you’ve already dealt with depression and anxiety for a really long time.”

Her fans flocked to the comments section on YouTube to commend her on her bravery as some related to her diagnosis.

One penned: “I recently got diagnosed with adhd too and so much makes sense now.”

Another person said: “Awww love your vids. Love your vulnerability.”

While a third added: “Thanks for another great vlog and thanks for being you.”

Denise was diagnosed with ADHD herself in January 2023 after undergoing a series of intense tests.

Incidentally, Denise went to get tested after her Loose Women co-star Nadia Sawalha received her own diagnosis and saw similar traits in her.

Frankie has previously stated that she was “anxious from the womb” and experienced physical symptoms including stomach aches, night time panic and difficulty breathing.

Her depression began to manifest significantly when she was 15, coinciding with her first brush with fame in S Club Juniors.

In 2011, at the height of her success in The Saturdays, Frankie suffered a major mental health breakdown.

She voluntarily admitted herself into a private psychiatric hospital for treatment for one month.

It’s something the ITV star has continued to deal with on daily basis but has used her platform to help other people who are experiencing the same as her.

In March last year, she told her Instagram followers: “I have finally made it down to the gym. It’s taken me the whole day to actually get here.

What is ADHD?

ADHD, or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects how individuals focus, regulate their impulses, and manage their energy levels.

Symptoms depend on the type; inattention causes challenges with focusing, organisation and time management, hyperactivity causes excessive energy or restlessness, and impulsivity causes a person to act without thinking or struggle to wait their turn.

People can be predominately one type or a mix of the two and symptoms are varied and unique to individuals.

While living with ADHD is challenging, people often find unique strengths within their condition, such as the ability to hyperfocus on something they find interesting, problem-solving skills and creativity.

“My depression is absolutely kicking my a**e, and I’m so over it. You know when you just feel like you do all the things you’re told you’re meant to do, and then it just still always comes back?

“I’m just so bored of myself. It is so boring. You know when you just think everyone around me must just be so bored of it as well, and I just I’m over it.”

“But I’m here,” she added. “I’m going to try and do as much as I can in the gym, because I know it will make me feel better.

“Instead of just sitting around, eating s**t, which is what I’ve been doing all day, which only makes me feel worse and I know that, so I don’t know why I do it, but here we are back in the same old place.”

BBC viewers say the same thing minutes into Sir Rod Stewart’s performance

Sir Rod Stewart’s Glastonbury 2025 performance was rebroadcast on the BBC on Saturday night

Singer Sir Rod Stewart left BBC viewers distracted just minutes into his performance.

Sir Rod’s Glastonbury performance, originally broadcast in 2025, was reshown on Saturday evening. In a repeat episode of Rod Stewart at Glastonbury, audiences watched the rock legend once more commanding the Pyramid Stage on the festival’s closing day at Worthy Farm in 2025.

Joined by his band and multiple guest vocalists, he captivated festival attendees. Sir Rod, who has been forced to postpone numerous concerts recently due to health issues, left viewers thoroughly impressed by his performance.

One delighted viewer commented on X at the time: “80 years old. Just feel good throughout. What a star,” while another declared, “Rod Stewart still looks great at the age of 80. He’s still got it.”

Another admirer gushed: “All those eyes on Rod. He looks fabulous for his age.”

One supporter commented, “He deserves that crowd after all these years,” as another enthused, “Sir Rod Stewart… phenomenal! 80 years old and had us all in rapture. Best there is,” the Express reports.

Someone else continued, ” Wait – Rod Stewart 80, Ronnie Wood – 76, Lulu 76, thanks and massive respect for you all. Shows age is a number, but talent…. ageless.”

Back in 2025, Rod shared his enthusiasm ahead of Glastonbury and told Radio Times, “I’m really looking forward to it. And it is a different gig, it’s like when you’re playing a cup final, you’re trying to treat it like another game. But, of course, it’s not. It’s special. It’ll be glamorous, it’ll be sexy.

“And we’ve got a little orchestra coming on to play with us. And we may have some bagpipes.”

More recently, Rod has been forced to withdraw from several performances due to health issues. This week, Rod was also spotted with an oxygen tank, prompting worry amongst fans.

His wife, Penny Lancaster, said during an appearance on Loose Women that it “looked a lot scarier than it really was”. She told her co-stars, “He had to cancel a couple of shows prior to that because of a respiratory infection.

“He was recovering and well enough to perform. But he wasn’t aware that Salt Lake City, where he was performing, was way above sea level. So the altitude levels, just for your regular person, is a challenge. If you’re not acclimatised, like sportsmen would arrive before an event, a week before to acclimatise.”

She added, “Rod just flew in on the day of the show, wasn’t aware of this particular altitude. So he was already down on his juice because of recovering from his respiratory infection. And then he was also down another 17% of oxygen because of the altitude. So when he’s on stage, and of course, his two-hour show involves him running around, he doesn’t sit still for a minute, it suddenly hit him.

“But there are oxygen tanks at these particular shows for that reason, because even the young ones, if they’ve had a late night out before a show, they can suffer, and they do.”

Rod Stewart at Glastonbury 2025 is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.

Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford congratulates co-star on air after ‘exciting’ news

Ruth Langsford congratulated her co-star at the start of Monday’s live programme

The host of Loose Women shared some exciting news during the latest live show.

Ruth Langsford took the reins on Monday (June 15), where she was joined by Lisa Riley, Sue Cleaver and Brenda Edwards in the ITV studio.

At the start of the programme, Ruth celebrated Lisa after she received an MBE in the King’s birthday honours. The Emmerdale actress is being recognised for her extensive services to drama and to charity.

Opening today’s Loose Women, Ruth said: “After first appearing in Emmerdale as a fresh-faced Mandy Dingle over 30 years ago, our fabulous Lisa has been recognised for her extensive services to drama and charity in this year’s King’s birthday honours list,” before the room erupted into applause.

Ruth continued: “Round of applause! Fantastic, how exciting! We’re so thrilled for you. How did you find out? When did you find out? How did you feel when you found out?”

Lisa replied: “Honestly, Ruth, this weekend has been absolutely incredible. So, I found out sort of late February. I’d been away with Al [Benković, her partner], we’d had a four-day weekend away and I opened the postbox and there was a very posh envelope. And when I say posh, I mean posh.

“It had my name on it and it said [that it] was from the King, and I was like, ‘Come on, this is an absolute wind up!’ I thought I was being pranked. Lo and behold, I opened it and it said for drama and for charity.”

The star went on: “I’m very blessed I’ve been doing a job I love in a world where I’ve been employed, touch wood, all my life, and I’m so grateful for that. To be honoured and also for people who got in touch with me, that’s been the craziest thing this weekend.

“I’ve had messages from people, like directors that I’ve worked with when I was like 21, and they’re just genuinely over the moon. At work, we have a Dingle WhatsApp group and every single one of the Dingles were like, ‘Go on girl! You’re doing it for the family!’

“Of course, I’m the first person ever at Emmerdale to have got anything like this, so I feel a bit royal!”

Ruth went on to say: “We’re buzzing for you, and actually, it was lovely [for you] to have both things, drama and charity. We know you do a lot for charities, in your mum’s name in particular… You absolutely deserve it.”

Lisa then shared a standout moment from her career away from the Dales, with the star being “forever grateful” her role in BBC drama Three Girls, which dramatised the events surrounding the Rochdale child sex abuse ring.

On what she’ll be wearing to pick up her MBE, Lisa added: “The frock’s going to be amazing, yeah. I’m going to go colour, you know I will. I’ll be taking my family… We’re told that it’s seven months from announcement that I’ll be going, and you don’t know whether you’ll get Windsor or Buckingham Palace.

“Fingers crossed, I really, really want [Prince] William. Is that selfish? I’d love William!”

Ruth noted: “I think he watches, so Your Highness…,” with Lisa adding: “Remember William, I’m a Dingle as well!” Lisa ended the conversation by thanking her co-stars for being her “cheerleaders”.

Loose Women host confirms show to be dropped in ITV schedule shake-up

Loose Women has been hit with a sudden schedule change

Loose Women is set for a schedule shake-up.

Kaye Adams confirmed that the ITV hit show will be missing from the regular 12.30pm timeslot on Friday, June 5.

During Thursday’s (June 4) episode the TV presenter returned to our TV screens alongside fellow panellists Jane Moore, Oti Mabuse and EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy as they shared their opinions on the day’s trending topics.

Speaking at the end of the episode, Kaye revealed that the show won’t air tomorrow, however, she was quick to assure fans that they’ll be back in business on Monday (June 8) as normal.

She explained: “That’s it for today. No Loose Women tomorrow as ITV heads to the races but we will be back on Monday at 12:30. We will see you then.”

Loose Women will instead be replaced with the races. Viewers will see Francesca Cumani and Ed Chamberlin present live coverage of The Oaks from Epsom, plus the support races.

There will also be analysis from Jason Weaver and Adele Mulrennan, reports by Matt Chapman, Rishi Persad, Oli Bell and Mick Fitzgerald, and commentary from Richard Hoiles.

It comes after ITV’s shake-up that came into force at the start of 2026 when Loose Women was cut to a 30-week seasonal schedule.

Speaking about the cuts, Coleen Nolan previously told the Mirror: “The crew have become family. I’ve watched them grow. Some of our runners from back in the day are producers, married with kids. I’ve shared my life with them. They’re in limbo, not knowing what they’re going to do.”

She continued: “Loose Women isn’t ending, which I’m so thankful for, but it’s changing. It’s going to be very different in the respect of the size of the crew, but it’s still running. Which it should be – there isn’t another show that celebrates and supports all women of every size, age, whatever.

“But it’s heartbreaking to see some of my colleagues not knowing what they’re going to do. Many of them have young families and mortgages.”

Nadia Sawalha previously spoke out on the YouTube channel she shares with her husband Mark Adderley, saying: “Do you know what, at the moment, all of us on screen are in work and are proud of what we do.”

“But behind the scenes there are people that are really suffering, and what you don’t realise is when you attack the show you attack them, because you never see all the army of people behind the scenes and how hard they work.

“So to all my friends and colleagues behind the scenes who have just got a huge shock out of the blue, I’m so sorry. Mark knows how upset I’ve been at home about it. I just can’t bear it. So just be f****** kind to people. What people don’t realise at Loose Women is that we’re self-employed. Every contract is a new contract. I could be let go tomorrow.”

Loose Women airs weekdays from 12:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Soccer Aid’s GK Barry yelled at by Tom Grennan as she misses pass to dance with crowd

GK Barry was yelled out by a celebrity teammate during Soccer Aid after she ignored a pass to instead dance with the crowd just seconds into her time on the pitch

GK Barry appeared to leave a Soccer Aid teammate frustrated just moments into her time on the pitch. The Loose Women star was yelled at by Tom Grennan after she was too busy dancing with the crowd to see him pass her the ball.

The 26-year-old influencer, whose real name is Grace Keeling, was on England’s team at this year’s charity match and came on after replacing Tom Hiddleston in the 41st minute of the game. She quickly got the ball and passed it to Grennan, then turned to the crowd to celebrate, but missed Grennan’s return pass.

As Keeling celebrated, Grennan kicked the ball back to her and it rolled out of play. He appeared to yell something at her, gesturing to where the ball had rolled out of bounds, before turning his back.

Fans thought Keeling’s antics were “hilarious”. One said: “GK Barry in soccer aid is absolutely sending me”. Another added: “Literally love GK Barry so much”. A third said: “GK Barry is hilarious”. One called it an “all time soccer aid moment”.

Prior to the match, GK Barry sat down with Mirror to talk about Soccer Aid, particularly what her footballer girlfriend Ella Rutherford thought of it. “She’s really excited,” Keeling revealed. “I’ve never been one to understand football; I’ve never had the chance, but I feel like she’s loving telling me about it. She’s like ‘This is a corner’, and I’m like ‘OK’.”

Keeling joked that she and Rutherford were “swapping roles” and she was going to be “signing up to Portsmouth”. She also revealed how her girlfriend was helping her prepare for the match.

“I’m learning how to dribble,” she laughed, adding: “Learning what goal is ours that we have to shoot in. Ella’s got me on a high protein diet, which is hell – I’ve been doing a lot of that, a lot of eggs, a lot of mince, it’s disgusting but I’m hoping that will make me automatically become a footballer.”

As for advice on how to be on the pitch, Keeling says she’s noticed Rutherford is “very good at stopping people getting the ball”. But Barry is a “wuss”. “Her main thing is, you need to control the ball,” she explained, adding: “I get scared – if I’ve got a six-foot man coming towards me trying to get the ball, he might have to have it.”

Despite her excitement for Soccer Aid, Keeling joked it wasn’t her “bag”. She said: “Because I’ve watched Ella do it i sort of maybe kind of know what to expect a little bit, that’s what I’m telling myself.” But, the thought of 60,000 people attending is giving Grace the fear.

“I have a thing, I forget how to walk if I think someone behind me is looking at me,” she said, adding: “I do fear that I may skip onto the pitch or something like that. But it should be exciting, it’s the biggest thing I’ve done.” And despite being terrified she may embarrass herself, that doesn’t matter for Keeling as she’s taking part in an “amazing” event.

And Keeling admits that aligning herself with such a positive cause is “nice” for her due to the ages of her audience. “I think it’s amazing to tie in with that,” she said, adding: “Our team, there are so many types of people in different bits of the industry, so the amount of people we’ll be able to bring in and donate to the charity is amazing.”

Loose Women star exposes ‘touch and go’ health problem moments before live show

A Loose Women panellist spoke about her health problems after rushing for help before the live show.

Loose Women panellist Jane Moore has revealed she rushed to medics for help before a live show.

The panellist joined Christine Lampard, Judi Love and GK Barry on Friday’s programme, where the presenters were discussing dentist appointments.

At one point after a break, Christine teased: “Do you fear losing your teeth as dentists warn they’re overwhelmed?” before jokingly adding: “Jane is here to tell us all about nearly having to rush a dentist onto the studio floor, that was only a couple of weeks ago… it was touch and go, wasn’t it?”

Laughing it off, Jane explained that she had turned up to the studio one morning, and as she was eating, a tooth “fell” into her mouth.

“I thought, ‘What the hell’s that?'” she went on, saying the others had been laughing at her during their morning meeting.

Jane continued: “So I then had to get on a bike and go to the dentist in the middle of the meeting, he was on holiday!

“Anyway, it was a whole thing, so I came back with the tooth, got some gummy stuff and literally put it in.

“People might have noticed – I’m normally quite gobby – [but] I barely said a word. I thought, if I say anything slightly emphatic, my tooth is going to go!”

She added that her loose tooth resulted from receding gums, and she’s now waiting to get it properly fixed after a temporary solution.

This comes after fellow ITV star Kate Garraway made an emergency dash to a dentist after her teeth fell out moments before Good Morning Britain.

She later took to Instagram to explain she’d had an “unfortunate collision” resulting in two front teeth getting cracked.

She said: “Letting you in on the horror behind the scenes on Monday’s show…

“After an unfortunate collision with a taxi window at the weekend I cracked my two front teeth caps.. of course. They then fell out just before going on air.

“All I can say is it’s hard to appear young and cool in front of a whole new team of trendy producers when you are reduced to gluing your teeth on with denture fixative at three in the morning!!!”

Kate continued: “An emergency trip to the dentist means now I have a temporary set of fake teeth … but they are soooo massive.

“Just hoping they hold for @gmb tmrw from 6am with @richardmadeleyofficial – glue at the ready!”

Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Judy Finnigan ‘sleeps in separate bedroom’ to Richard Madeley as he admits ‘you don’t mess’

Richard Madeley has been married to fellow TV presenter Judy Finnigan for almost 40 years, but the couple have been sleeping in separate rooms due to one particular reason

Richard Madeley has revealed the heartfelt reason behind why he sleeps in a separate bedroom from Judy Finnigan. The 69 year old Good Morning Britain presenter shot to stardom alongside Judy during the 1980s when the couple fronted ITV’s This Morning, before launching their own show, Richard and Judy, on Channel 4.

The pair first crossed paths in 1982, while both were married to different partners, but their romance flourished and 39 years ago today (November 21) they tied the knot in Manchester. They share two children, Jack and Chloe Madeley, while Richard is also stepfather to Judy’s two eldest sons, Dan and Tom Henshaw, from her previous marriage.

Richard and Judy, who turns 78 today (Saturday, May 16), ran from 2001 to 2009 before declining ratings led to its cancellation by television channel Watch. Judy later became a regular panellist on ITV’s Loose Women while Richard joined Good Morning Britain. However, a decade ago, Judy made the major decision to step back from television – which has resulted in them sleeping separately.

And Richard says his wife is “really enjoying” her break from the cameras. Meanwhile, he continues presenting GMB alongside journalist Susanna Reid. Though he recently took time off from the programme, informing followers he was “operating at 80 per cent” after contracting Covid.

Hosting ITV’s flagship morning programme means early rises for Richard. With GMB broadcasting from 6am, he regularly retreats to the spare room so his wife can enjoy a few extra hours of sleep. The beloved presenter lifted the lid on their bedtime arrangements during an appearance on Kate Thornton’s White Wine Question Time podcast.

He explained: “When I’m doing Good Morning Britain I sleep in the spare room. I do probably sleep a little bit better in bed with Judy but I’m okay on my own.” When asked whether he’d consider waking Judy up early instead, he added: “I wouldn’t think of doing that to Judy. Apart from anything else, Judy and her sleep, you do not mess with,” reports the Manchester Evening News.

Kate revealed that fellow early-morning broadcaster Amol Rajan claims he “sleeps better” with his wife beside him — meaning the couple, who have four children all under the age of seven, must rise at the crack of dawn whenever he presents the Today programme. Richard quipped: “Amol Rajan’s wife must be a saint.”

He added: “We did This Morning, but the difference between me and Amol there is that Judy and I would get up at the same time. The alarm would go off, we’d both get up and roll into our jeans, get in the car, and drive to Liverpool to do the show, and then when we were in London, drive down to the Southbank.

So we went to bed at the same time and woke up at the same time.” Richard and Judy first crossed paths in the 1980s while working on separate Granada TV programmes. Richard recalls hearing that Judy was “dicing [an executive] into small cubes with her tongue” following his “something sexist” remark. Speaking to the Guardian in 2014, he said: “I thought, wow – I’m going to marry her.”

Richard has recently disclosed that Judy initially harboured doubts about his capabilities as a stepfather. Speaking to Busted’s Matt Willis on the On the Mend podcast, Richard revealed that Judy made clear she came as a “three-pack” alongside twins Dan and Tom. To thoroughly assess his feelings about the relationship, Richard jetted off to Greece for some soul-searching.

He spent a fortnight in the Mediterranean nation reflecting “quite deeply” on his future, though the tale would eventually reach a happy ending. Richard explained: “So, I went off on my own. I went off to Greece for two weeks on a kind of a solo holiday to think about it, because I didn’t want to rush – well, I wasn’t rushing – but I didn’t want to make that mistake.”

Richard says the period apart from Judy helped him recognise that he was “quite comfortable” taking on a role in the boys’ lives. He added: “I didn’t want to say airily and with super-confidence, ‘Oh, yeah, it’ll be fine. You know, I’m happy to be a stepfather’. I needed to know that I could deliver and that I meant it.”
