TORONTO — Addison Barger hit a walk-off single in the 11th inning and the Toronto Blue Jays extended their season-best winning streak to seven by beating the Angels 4-3 on Saturday.
George Springer added a two-run home run, his fifth in five games, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. had three hits for the Blue Jays, who won their second straight in extra innings. Toronto won 4-3 in 10 innings Friday.
Barger, who broke his bat over his thigh in frustration after striking out against Kenley Jansen to send the game to extra innings, gained a measure of redemption when he lined the winning hit to right field off Angels right-hander Ryan Zeferjahn (5-3).
Toronto’s Braydon Fisher (3-0) pitched two shutout innings for the win.
Blue Jays right-hander Max Scherzer gave up two runs and five hits in four innings, the shortest of his three starts since coming off the injured list last month.
Scherzer threw 72 pitches, 46 strikes.
Angels outfielder Jo Adell opened the scoring with a bases-loaded walk in the first, but the inning ended when Barger caught Jorge Soler’s fly ball in right field and threw out Mike Trout at home plate. The outfield assist was Barger’s sixth.
Barger’s RBI single off Jack Kochanowicz tied the score in the bottom of the first but Adell restored the lead with a sacrifice fly in the third.
Nathan Lukes walked to begin the third and Springer followed with a 413-foot homer to straightaway center, his 16th.
The Angels tied it in the seventh on Nolan Schanuel’s two-out single off rookie Lazaro Estrada.
After throwing a ball to Logan O’Hoppe on his first pitch of the second inning, Scherzer struck out the side on nine straight pitches.

TORONTO — Myles Straw scored the winning run on a throwing error by pitcher Sam Bachman in the 10th inning, and the Toronto Blue Jays extended their winning streak to six games by beating the Angels 4-3 on Friday night.
Straw, the automatic runner, scored from second when Bachman fielded Ernie Clement’s sacrifice bunt and overthrew first base.
Bachman (1-2) entered in the 10th and walked leadoff hitter Nathan Lukes, putting runners on first and second with nobody out for Clement.
Chad Green (3-2) worked a scoreless inning for the win.
Jo Adell tied it for the Angels with a three-run homer in the seventh.
Andrés Giménez drove in the first run with a single for Toronto in the sixth. Giménez advanced to third on George Springer’s single before leaving with an ankle injury.
Giménez tweaked his left ankle covering second base on a steal Wednesday and did not play Thursday. He was scheduled for an MRI.
Blue Jays left-hander Eric Lauer set down his first 12 batters before Adell doubled to begin the fifth. Adell was initially called out trying to advance but the Angels challenged and the call was overturned following a replay review.
Giménez hit Adell in the face trying to tag him out at second. Adell was treated on the field and remained in the game.
Toronto’s Will Wagner doubled to open the sixth and advanced on a sacrifice before scoring on Giménez’s hit.
José Fermin replaced Angels starter Kyle Hendricks after Springer’s single. Bo Bichette hit an RBI single and another run scored when shortstop Zach Neto bobbled Addison Barger’s grounder for an error.
Mike Trout and Taylor Ward chased Lauer with back-to-back singles to begin the seventh, and the Angels tied it when Adell greeted reliever Nick Sandlin with his 19th homer.
Key moment
Bachman’s high throw sparked a celebration at home plate as Toronto improved to 30-16 at home.

The iconic New York jazz club Blue Note announced Tuesday the opening slate of shows for its long-awaited Los Angeles location, which includes Robert Glasper, Charlie Puth and Killer Mike. After delays caused by construction and permitting in the wake of L.A.’s January fires, the venue will open its doors in mid-August with local favorite Robert Glasper christening the new venue Aug. 14 and 15.
Located in Hollywood on Sunset Boulevard and Ivar Avenue, the celebrated jazz institution is rolling out a roster of A-list artists in jazz and other genres. Following Glasper’s two opening shows, Grammy nominee Alex Isley will headline Aug. 16 and 17.
The first month is particularly stacked, as the team behind the Blue Note is taking the responsibility of introducing the ethos and the way they do shows to an L.A. audience very seriously.
Like the New York Blue Note location (the brand has clubs around the world, including in Napa, Tokyo and Honolulu), artists will be doing two shows a night. Both Blue Note Entertainment President Steven Bensusan and Director of Programming/Talent Buyer Alex Kurland have emphasized that the L.A. location will reflect a local vibe, including in the acts they book.
Among the first run of shows will be a heavy slate of local artists, including Terrace Martin with guest Kenyon Dixon Aug. 19 and 20, Braxton Cook Sept. 9 and 10, Kamasi Washington Sept. 30 to Oct. 5 and Oct. 7 to 12, Keyon Harrold Nov. 18 and 19 and many more.
The rest of the released schedule, which runs into 2026, features a stellar array of jazz luminaries such as Branford Marsalis Oct. 21 and 22, Esperanza Spalding Sept. 2 to 7, Ravi Coltrane Aug. 28 to 31, Kenny Garrett Sept. 11 to 14, Cimafunk Nov. 20 and 21, and a Lady Blackbird residency multiple dates.
Also sticking to the Blue Note ethos, there is a healthy dose of musicians from a variety of genres, such as Charlie Puth Oct. 16 to 19, Andra Day Nov. 28 to 30, Killer Mike Sept. 19 to 21, Slum Village Oct. 20, Ben Folds Dec. 11, Mayer Hawthorne Aug. 25 and more.
BONNIE Blue has been slammed for “promoting rape culture” and labelled “vile” after revealing her sickest ever sex stunt.
The adult ‘star’ has already hit headlines with previous desperate stunts including apparently breaking the world record by sleeping with 1,057 men in just 12 hours.

She then challenged Spring Break ‘barely legal’ college boys to see who could give her the best orgasm – with a pledge to pay for the tuition of the ‘winner’.
But now Bonnie has announced her most depraved stunt to date, immediately sparking disgust from people online.
She revealed her next challenge during an interview on Kat Baker’s podcast – leaving the interviewer lost for words as she did so.
“What challenges do you have next?” Kat asked Bonnie during their conversation on The Kat Baker Show.

With Bonnie replying that she’s called it “Bonnie Blue’s petting zoo”, and said it will be taking place on June 15.
Explaining the sickening idea, she said that she’s going to be naked and tied up in a glass box, which would be “open for the public” to do basically whatever they want to her.
When Kat asked “where” the box was going to be, Bonnie continued that she’ll be in “the centre of London” but “in a house”.
“Oh ok, because I was thinking like David Blaine,” Kat said, referring to the U.S. illusionist’s stunt in 2003, when he was confined in a transparent glass box, suspended 30ft over the River Thames, for 44 days.
While Bonnie said that she’d love to be in the box on the back of a lorry, with the abhorrent sex acts performed on her as she travelled through London, she mused that it was “probably illegal”.
Making the planned event even more repulsive, Bonnie told Kat that she wanted to beat her own record by “doing 2,000”.

Unsurprisingly, the comments on the Instagram video of Kat and Bonnie’s conversation took aim at the abominable plan – and even questioned the 26-year-old’s mental state to have come up with such a vulgar concept.
While another insisted she was “promoting rape culture” – which Fabulous Digital writer and rape survivor Kate Kulniece agreed with, as she said Bonnie’s latest stunt ends up “pushing victims like myself deeper into the abyss of trauma”.
“Her twisted antics are damaging impressionable young teenage boys – half of whom have been exposed to pornography by the age of 13.
“These very same boys will grow up thinking this is normal, this is what women want – and what we’re here for.”
In the comments on the Instagram post, one person insisted Bonnie has “no soul”
Sometimes I wonder if Satan is actually Bonnie in disguise
Instagram commenter
“She has no soul,” one wrote, while someone else called Bonnie an “attention craving sicko”, and another said she’s the “most disgusting in the world … by far”.
“Her value as a woman is so low that she is offering her entire body for free,” someone else sighed.
“And we’re ok glorifying prostitution on media platforms for kids to see….? I genuinely think the future’s done,” someone else wrote.
“Sometimes I wonder if Satan is actually Bonnie in disguise,” another slammed.
Why Bonnie Blue MUST be banned from social media
By Kate Kulniece, Fabulous Digital writer and rape survivor
When it comes to sex, I like to consider myself open-minded – and non-judgemental.
But the vile, attention-seeking OnlyFans porn star Bonnie Blue makes me sick to my stomach.
When the 26-year-old first hit the headlines with her gruesome stunts in March 2024, I’ll admit – I didn’t pay much attention to her.
But as the challenges became more perverted and she eventually bedded over 1,000 men in just 12 hours, I became not just disappointed – but angry.
Her most recent – and most disgusting – stunt to date, of being tied up in a glass box for men to fulfil their sick desires, is wrong and worrying on so many levels.
The number of rapes being reported to police are at a record high, with a shocking 1 in 4 women, 1 in 6 children and 1 in 18 men falling victim to this horrific crime.
It’s an alarming rise and many believe, as I do, that the sexual assaults are fuelled by access to toxic online culture – with Bonnie seemingly leading the way with her vile sex marathon stunts.
As a young woman who is a survivor of two rapes – aged just 13 and 23 – and who has been sexually harassed on countless occasions, I feel sick and enraged.
In a society where sexual abuse, violence against women and misogyny have become a widespread pandemic, we should ban people like Bonnie from social media.
Her foul and obscene challenges, which are becoming worse every time, are a slap in the face to millions of rape survivors like myself.
Not only are her videos a constant reminder of the trauma and pain that was forced upon us, but she also teaches perverts that women are a piece of meat – and nothing else.
Despite repeatedly insisting she empowers women, Bonnie promotes a culture in which women are passed around by men like toys.
She also plays into the narrative that our husbands, fathers and sons can’t control their sexual urges – or shouldn’t have to.
As a vocal multi millionaire, Bonnie may think this is all harmless fun, paying her many assistants to keep her out of real harm’s way.
But in reality, the sex-insatiable Bonnie is promoting dangerous rape culture and pushing victims like myself deeper into the abyss of trauma.
Her twisted antics, and those of rival Lily Phillips and Aussie OF star Annie Knight, are damaging impressionable young teenage boys – half of whom have been exposed to pornography by the age of 13.
These very same boys will grow up thinking this is normal, this is what women want – and what we’re here for.
There are countless things I look forward to, but the day the sick content creator finally gets banned from platforms cannot come soon enough.
However, someone else questioned why Bonnie was even being allowed to speak.
“Why the f**k is she being given platforms like podcasts and broadcasts to act like she is some kind of trailblazer or icon?” they raged.
“She is sitting there saying her next challenge is to be tied up in public so people can touch her and another woman is sitting across from her acting like that is something worth clapping for.
“That alone is disgusting and degrading…
“This is dragging us backwards.
“And any woman who claps for this kind of behaviour has failed as a woman.”
“Never been so revolted in my life,” another agreed.
Even more shockingly, there were also some comments from monstrous people saying they were keen to get inside the box with Bonnie.
“I’ll be in the box,” one boasted.
“See you there,” another added.
As a third questioned: “Are girls welcome to join in too?”
Domestic abuse – how to get help
DOMESTIC abuse can affect anyone – including men – and does not always involve physical violence.
Here are some signs that you could be in an abusive relationship:
Emotional abuse – Including being belittled, blamed for the abuse – gaslighting – being isolated from family and friends, having no control over your finances, what you where and who you speak to
Threats and intimidation – Some partners might threaten to kill or hurt you, destroy your belongings, stalk or harass you
Physical abuse – This can range from slapping or hitting to being shoved over, choked or bitten.
Sexual abuse – Being touched in a way you do not want to be touched, hurt during sex, pressured into sex or forced to have sex when you do not consent.
If any of the above apply to you or a friend, you can call these numbers:
Remember, you are not alone.
1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men will experience domestic abuse over the course of their lifetime.
Every 30 seconds the police receive a call for help relating to domestic abuse.

Born in May 1999, Bonnie – whose real name is Tia Billinger – grew up in a small Derbyshire village, and attended the Friesland School in the village of Sandiacre.
She has two half-siblings – a sister and a brother – who have always remained out of the public eye.
She never knew her biological father, and considers stepfather Nicholas Elliott her dad.
Bonnie also became something of a dance star in her local area, and competed in the British Street Dance Championships alongside her sister back in 2015.
She also had a part-time job at Poundstretcher as a teenager.
After school, she began working in recruitment.
In October 2022, Bonnie married Oliver Davidson, who she had started dating when she was just 15.
Once they were married, they moved to Australia, where Bonnie continued working in recruitment.
However, it was in Australia that she decided to pursue a different line of work, and tried her luck as a ‘cam girl’ – crediting Oliver for giving her the confidence to enter the adult entertainment world.
She quickly made a name for herself in the industry, and was soon making £5,000 a week.
But while her work life was going from strength to strength, her relationship was crumbling, and she and Oliver split after almost a decade together.
She moved over to OnlyFans following her cam girl success, and once again found fame on there.
She quickly became a favourite on the site, especially thanks to her “niche” of sleeping with young male students – such as when she bedded 158 students during Nottingham Trent University’s freshers week in September 2024.
Bonnie is now estimated to be worth £3 million, and makes around £600,000 a month on OnlyFans.
Her family are also supportive of her work, with mum Sarah Billinger even claiming she’s her daughter’s PA, and helps clean up after Bonnie’s events – as well as handing out condoms to young clients.
In January 2025, Bonnie claimed to have broken the world record for the most amount of sex in 12 hours, after apparently sleeping with 1,057 men from 1pm to 1am at a secret London event.
Bonnie opened up on how she was banned from Forest’s ground on the Only Stans podcast.
She said: “I recently went to a Nottingham Forest game. Well, I attempted to.
“I put on my socials, ‘hey boys, I’m going to be at the game, I’d like to film with you afterwards’.
“I turn up at the football game and the gate security was like, ‘you are permanently banned from the ground’.
“I thought when they asked me to go to the side, ‘maybe they’re upgrading my tickets, maybe they want to escort me to my seat, this is quite nice, it’s a good service’.
“They asked to see my tickets, I showed them and they took them off me, saying, ‘we’re escorting you off the premises’.
“Apparently they don’t discriminate against sex workers but I was banned because I was a sex worker.
“I was going to encourage them (the players), give them a good time. I also think if I’m entertaining the supporters it’s less people drinking so I’m actually doing something good for their health.”

The Caribbean may be out of your budget this year, but if you want a beach break that’s a little closer to home, you might want to consider this stunning UK destination
Would you visit this beach? (stock image)(Image: Getty Images/Westend61)
If you’re looking for a beach getaway on a budget, you might want to consider this UK destination that ‘looks like the Caribbean’ thanks to its white sand beaches and vibrant blue water.
Located on the Isle of Harris in Scotland‘s Outer Hebrides, Luskentyre Beach is hailed as one of Europe’s most beautiful shorelines. It is one of Harris’ largest stretches of coast and also one of the most jaw-dropping shorelines, even earning it a spot among the UK’s top beaches as per the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards. People who live on this remote island are proud to call it home, especially when they can enjoy the beach year-round – often without crowds of tourists.
A woman named Caz took to TikTok to show off the beach’s beauty in a video, leaving viewers wondering if they’re looking at Scotland or a much sunnier destination.
“Scotland? Or the Caribbean?” Caz wrote on the video before sharing clips of her and her friends enjoying a day at the beach.
The video included shots of them all diving into the crystal-clear water and playing football on the shore.
Content cannot be displayed without consent
The Isle of Harris has been basking in a spell of good weather, boasting sun-soaked days with warmer temperatures in the run-up to summer.
This welcome change has allowed residents to spend time on their beach ahead of the busy tourist season in the peak of summer.
The video capturing these sunny scenes garnered over 2.5million views in just three days, prompting some viewers to fantasise about enjoying the beach themselves.
However, some remained sceptical about the location of the beach, as they couldn’t quite believe it was right on their doorstep.
“This is not Scotland,” one person said, while another asked: “Where the hell are you finding beaches like this in Scotland.”
Nevertheless, the doubts were quickly put to rest by several people who had visited Luskentyre themselves. These visitors were quick to share their own experiences of the beautiful beach.
“Luv Luskentyre beach it’s gorgeous xx,” declared one fan, while another added: “Scotland! I live in Scotland and me and family went there at one point! Gorgeous place!”
“Just remember, that water is cold enough to send you into shock if you’re not careful,” said another. Meanwhile someone else chimed in with, “Might look like Caribbean but temp is far from it.”
According to Hidden Scotland, late spring and summer are the best times to pay a visit to Luskentyre beach. At this time of year you will get the warmest weather, vital for any successful beach day. The ‘lingering light’ at this time of year also creates beautiful views of the surrounding landscape that are hard to beat.
Holidaymakers have been left bitterly disappointed after P&O Cruises pulled the plug on a 35-night Caribbean cruise aboard the Ventura – just weeks after another cruise was scrapped.
The Ventura was cancelled out of the blue(Image: Getty)
The long-haul voyage, which was due to set sail on January 4, 2027, has been cancelled due to what the cruise line is calling “operational reasons.”
It follows the recent axing of a 14-night trip on sister ship Iona, which had been scheduled to depart on August 30, 2026.
In an earlier cancellation, the BBC reported on how cruise passengers hit out at P&O Cruises after two voyages scheduled for October 2025 aboard the Iona were scrapped to make way for a refit.
The cruises, both due to depart from Southampton, were pulled from the calendar, with the company citing the need for maintenance work.
Guests were offered full refunds along with on-board spending credit as an incentive to re-book another trip.
But many said the gesture didn’t go far enough – especially when they discovered that like-for-like holidays on different dates came with a hefty price hike.
In an email sent to passengers affect by the recent Ventura cancellation, P&O said:
“Due to operational reasons, we’re sorry to inform you that your cruise, departing 4 January 2027, is no longer going ahead.
“We understand this news is disappointing and would like to apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.
“To avoid you missing out on your holiday, however, we’ve automatically transferred you to an alternative cruise, G701, on board Iona.”
Frustrated passengers have since taken to Facebook to vent their anger and sadness over the abrupt change, with many saying they were looking forward to the now-cancelled voyage.
“On occasion, it is necessary to change an itinerary from the one previously published and we are very sorry that Ventura’s 35-night Caribbean itinerary departing January 04 2027, has been cancelled.
“Where possible, we are pleased to offer affected guests to transfer to Iona’s similar Caribbean sailing across the same dates.
“Ventura will now offer three new itineraries, which go on sale on June 04, 2025.”

Nanjizal Beach in Cornwall’s far west was ranked the second most secluded beach in the world by Sunsail, with the team analysing factors including accessibility and online searches

Cornwall’s Nanjizal Beach, nestled just south of Land’s End, has been named the second most secluded beach in the world by Sunsail. The team at Sunsail analysed factors such as accessibility, online searches, connectivity, noise and amenities to determine which beaches were the most secluded.
Beaches with fewer social media searches are considered less exposed, with experts concluding that “the less people likely to know about them”. Similarly, beaches with poor phone service also scored highly in the ranking – offering visitors a chance to truly “switch off”. “Each beach has been ranked against these factors and given a score out of 17,” the report explained.
“The lower the score, the more secluded and remote the beach is.” Due to its remote and largely inaccessible location, Nanjizal Beach remains one of the UK’s most untouched beaches, reports the Express. However, with the rise of Instagram, it’s slowly gaining popularity among those keen to capture a unique photo.
Most of the time, the beach is usually only frequented by walkers on the coastal path. One of the intriguing features of this beach, however, is the colour of its water.
Cornwall Beaches describes the ever-changing nature of a local beach: “Situated at the end of a short, shallow valley, the beach changes from year to year.
The beauty of the Song of the Sea cave at Nanjizal(Image: Alison Taylor Photograpy via Getty Images)
“Sometimes the beach is a pretty boulder-strewn cove, whilst at others there is plenty of golden sand stretching right across the bay. One thing is constant though – the unusually clear blue water.”
The beach draws attention not just for its shifting sands but also for its intriguing caves, with the most famous being “Song of the Sea”. This cave is a natural wonder, bathed in light and home to an emerald lagoon.
Visitors can gaze out at the Atlantic from the far end of the cave, while also admiring the striking rock formation known as the Diamond Horse.
For those keen on visiting Nanjazil Beach, it’s crucial to prioritise safety. It’s advised to check tidal schedules and aim for low tide, as the beach significantly shrinks when high tide comes in.
To get to the beach, you can follow the coastal path from Land’s End, with Nanjazil lying about a mile to the south. Alternatively, park your car at Porthgwarra and enjoy a one-mile walk to this coastal gem.
