A MARRIED At First Sight honeymoon takes a disastrous turn tonight when a bride piles on the pressure days after her wedding.

They got off to a bad start at the reception when Leisha pummelled him with questions about his life.

In a preview clip for tonight’s show, Leisha and Reiss fail to see eye-to-eye again as they discuss what the future holds for them.

During a boat trip, Leisha asks her husband: “Do you visualise me in your future?”

But her need for reassurance doesn’t go down well.

An annoyed Reiss throws an epic strop and responds: “I can’t cope! You’re too much.

“I don’t need pressure yet, it’s so early.

“I don’t like it. I know you’re saying you want to see the real me you aint going to find that out over night.

“You know I’m a closed book. If you’re constantly pressuring me you’re just going to keep me closed.”

Leisha replied: “It’s just the lack of questions, it makes me feel you don’t really care about me.

“I know you fancy me. Do you want to know are we going to have a future together.”

He replied: “You want to know do I want a wife, to have kids, to settle down. Yes, yes, yes.”

He then dealt the hammer blow, adding: “I don’t know if that’s what I want with you after knowing you three days.”

Speaking to the camera away from his wife, he later vented: “I can’t believe Leisha just ask me that, is she joking?! F hell.”

AWKWARD RECEPTION

After the pair exchanged their wedding rings and said their vows, the registrar declared: “Leisha and Reiss, it’s my huge pleasure to proudly announce you husband and wife.”

The new couple awkwardly leaned in for two kisses on the cheek before stepping back from one another.

Their guests looked on with confused looks on their faces as they clapped for the pair.

It wasn’t the only awkward moment on the E4 show, painter and decorator Reiss struggled as Leisha and her bridesmaid fired a series of questions at him.

During their wedding reception, Leisha asked her new husband: “What’s your exes been like?”

Reiss explained that his ex girlfriends have been “all different”, saying he focuses on a “connection”.

Leisha asked: “Do you get a lot of attention?,” to which he replied: “No, not really.”

Speaking to the camera away from her husband, Leisha said: “I’m so happy with how things are going with me and Reiss.

“It’s in my nature to ask these questions, so I’m just going to keep asking them and I truly want to get to know him to his core.”

Looking uncomfortable, Reiss was then quizzed by the bridesmaid, who asked: “So how many exes have you had?”

Reiss said he’s not one for dating apps and has been longing to be in a relationship.

He said: “Four exes, luckily I’ve never actually dated a psychos.”

They then asked if jealousy on his behalf had caused the relationships to end, which he insisted was not the case.

But the interrogation didn’t stop there. The bridesmaid then asked if he would like kids and Reiss replied: “100% yeah.”

This prompted Leisha to then press him on what he would call his child.

Reiss quickly replied: “Frankie,” which Leisha agreed was a good name.

Speaking in her confessional, Leisha said: “Him telling me he wants kids is a massive turn on for me, I’m ovulating.”

While Reiss felt very differently, saying the the camera: “It started off as a grilling, there’s a lot to take in.”

Budget airlines like RyanAir and EasyJet notoriously make last-minute checks at the gate – sometimes resulting in extra fees for those who are slightly over the limit. But one woman has revealed a clever trick for sneaking in extra clothes – and it’s all in her bra.

Chelsea Dickenson was flying home from Lisbon with Wizz Air who only allow a tiny 40 x 30 x 20cm cabin bag for free.

And while she managed the outbound flight fine, she wanted to try out the clever hack for her return journey. Just before her flight, she bagged herself a giant bra – that was not her size – for less than £5 from a local shop.

“I’d never seen anyone use a bra for this purpose. And the logic was solid: airlines weigh and measure your bag, not your body. My coat pockets had been carrying overflow snacks and chargers for years, so why not give my chest a piece of the action too?,” she told the Metro.

After making it through security, she headed straight to the toilets to get changed into her bra – surprisingly fitting a lot of clothes inside.

“On the day of my flight, I wasn’t about to stroll through security looking like I’d got a Portuguese breast enlargement – this was about getting through the scales and bag sizers,” she explained.

Chelsea stuffed the bra with her gym kit, a bikini, and a fishing vest. But one thing she hadn’t prepared for was the intense heat the extra padding would provide.

“It was like a private heat wave,” she wrote. Her boyfriend James also found the sight amusing.

At the gate, the flight attendants didn’t bat an eyelid and let them board the plane smoothly. But while it worked, she admits she wouldn’t do it again and would opt for less invasive options.

Our Yorkshire Farm stars Amanda and Clive Owen split in 2022 but they continue working on their TV shows together

Amanda Owen said her ex Clive Owen was “still annoying” as she opened up about their separation.

The Our Yorkshire Farm stars called time on their relationship in 2022 following 22 years of marriage, yet they’ve carried on collaborating on television projects whilst co-parenting their nine children.

However, Amanda – known as the Yorkshire Shepherdess – confessed to Hello! magazine that the duo continue to get under each other’s skin, reports the Manchester Evening News.

She remarked: “What am I supposed to say, ‘We get on like a house on fire?’ Well, if we did, we wouldn’t want to separate, would we?

“He’s still the same annoying old Clive that he always was. I’ve seen him just now, and he’s still annoying – I annoy him, and he annoys me.”

The couple haven’t pursued divorce proceedings, with Amanda highlighting the complexities involved.

“How would we even divide that up?” asked the celebrity. “It’s tricky when businesses and families are so intertwined.”

Amanda and Clive rose to fame through television series Our Yorkshire Farm, which was launched in 2018 and spanned five seasons.

The show, which documented the couple’s lives at Ravenseat Farm, proved enormously popular with audiences.

Last year the stars returned in a new series, collaborating on Channel 4 programme Our Farm Next Door.

The series chronicles Clive and Amanda as they restore a crumbling farm in the Yorkshire Dales, with the help of their five children – Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clementine and Nancy.

Both celebrities discussed their split during the programme, with Amanda stating that whilst they’d endured an “incredibly hard” period they had “got through it”.

Clive admitted that it had been “a strange few years” for them, adding: “We are now in a place where although we are not actually together, we are still in business together, we still have these kids together.

“It’s a crazy situation but it isn’t – it’s the most sensible thing for everybody to do,” he said.

BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty couldn’t contain her irritation discussing the recent spike in water bills, as she spoke out on what she perceives as unnecessary wastage.

On the Saturday episode (July 12), Naga and fellow presenter Charlie Stayt welcomed Andy White from the Consumer Council for Water to chat about homeowners possibly switching to smart meters, with the promise that it could lead to significant financial advantages for some.

The water guru impressed on audiences that households with more bedrooms than occupants could find themselves a bit richer by opting for a smart meter, though he cautioned that there’s quite a backlog, and the transition wouldn’t be immediate.

While Andy was optimistic about the potential savings from exploring smart meter options with water providers, Naga shared her own opinion aimed at viewers who might be squandering water.

Andy mentioned that some individuals were now taking shorter showers to cut costs on both water and electricity. This prompted Naga to interject with a robust piece of advice, reports the Express.

She didn’t mince her words, telling fans: “And don’t leave the tap running when you’re brushing your teeth,” which Andy supported with a firm “Absolutely,” as Naga further added: “It winds me up no end when people do that.”

“It’s pointless,” agreed Andy, to which Naga echoed: “Pointless,” before expressing gratitude towards him for his insights.

On the programme, the conversation shifted to dire warnings about “extreme wildfires in Scotland“. Charlie introduced the topic: “An extreme wildfire warning is in place across Scotland as temperatures continue to soar this weekend.”

Naga elaborated on the situation: “The Scottish fire and rescue team is urging people to be cautious after tackling multiple incidents over the last few weeks.”

The presenter emphasised the need for extra caution in Scotland, adding: “Including large wildfires that burned over four days in the north of Scotland. No one was injured but a large area of countryside has been badly affected.”

Garry Mackay from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service appeared via video link to give a live update. He described the “unusual” conditions in Scotland, with high temperatures, strong winds, and no rain.

He informed viewers about the “significant” wildfires his teams had recently battled in rural areas, which he said were a “drain on their resources” and posed a “challenge” for the firefighters.

With the forecast predicting even hotter weather over the weekend, he called for the public and communities to remain alert and extremely careful with anything involving a “naked flame”, including “cigarette ends and having open fires”.

This year’s game is held at Old Trafford after previously being held at Stamford Bridge. Soccer Aid was also held at Old Trafford between 2010-2018 as well as most recently in 2023.

However, other venues have also been used in the past such as Wembley, Stamford Bridge, City of Manchester Stadium and London Stadium.

Soccer Aid was first launched in 2006 by former Take That star Robbie Williams and Jonathan Wilkes. It initially took place every two years but is now an annual event.

Females were first allowed to play in the game in 2019 and it is the only mixed-sex match officially sanctioned by The Football Association. 2020 saw the event held behind closed doors due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The track characteristics have the opposite effect on championship leaders McLaren, whose car is the best in the field at managing tyre temperatures.

As a consequence, McLaren have been struggling to make it operate at its best in Montreal.

Championship leader Oscar Piastri is third on the grid behind Russell and Verstappen but his team-mate and title rival Lando Norris could manage only seventh, admitting that he had made two mistakes in the final session of qualifying.

Norris said: “I think we can go forwards anyway, but not a lot. You know, it’s not like we’re easy one-two, like we have been on other tracks.

“It’s just very low grip, first of all is one of the bigger things. And therefore the car balance just never comes together as much as what it does in other tracks.

“Probably just low grip and some of the kerb-riding and bumps, which just hurts us, it seems, more than some others.”

Norris was using a revised front suspension layout that was designed to increase the feel from the front axle of the car, the lack of which the Briton believes is important in the flip in form between himself and Piastri between last year and this.

Norris said it was “tough to say” whether this had improved the feeling coming from the car.

“This track, everything just feels different,” he said. “So I think it’s something we’ll have to wait and see on the next few races through Austria and Silverstone and so forth to understand and maybe back-to-back tests between them both.

“It’s nothing that I’ve felt just yet. But it’s more that when you go to a new track, it’s hard to remember everything perfectly relative to other tracks. So we just need a bit more time to understand if it’s any better or not.”

Piastri stuck with the old layout, saying: “It’s not an upgrade. It’s a different part. It changes some things, some things are better, some things are worse. I have been happy with how the car has been this year.”

Team principal Andrea Stella said: “From Lando’s point of view, there were no downsides. If anything, despite the result that we had in Q3 with Lando, pretty much right away, Lando has actually been competitive, especially compared to Oscar throughout the weekend.

“So we think that the experimentation of the front suspension is a successful one, and it’s a preference, it’s a set-up option in a way, that might be even different across drivers depending on their requirements from a driving point of view.”

The BBC presenters were slammed for talking over the official Eurovision hosts, Hazel Brugger and Sandra Studer.

While Eurovision fans were thrilled by the latest batch of offerings at the semi-finals on Thursday night (May 15), they were less than impressed by the ongoing commentary made by BBC presenters Rylan Clark and Scott Mills.

While 16 countries battled it out in Switzerland, for one of just 10 spots in Saturday’s Grand Final, viewers took to social media to accuse Rylan and Scott of “talking over everything” and making it harder to enjoy the show. One person watching the song contest at home took to the internet to hit out at the presenters, fuming: “If the BBC One commentators would just shut up now and again, Eurovision would be much more enjoyable instead of talking over top of everyone.”

Another chimed in, adding: “Jesus Christ. Scott and Rylan wait for the bloody song to finish before you start the insane chatter.” While the cheeky duo are known for their light-hearted banter, not everyone was in the mood for their running jokes tonight.

One X user pleaded: “I beg commentators to let us watch the show and stop talking OVER EVERYTHING (and yes I’m looking at you Marty, Rylan and Scott).” A fourth aimed their protest directly at the BBC figures, exclaiming: “C’mon Rylan and Scott, let us hear what they are saying!”

“Why are Rylan and Scott talking over the presenters?” another fan asked bluntly, in reference to the UK broadcasting team speaking over the official Eurovision hosts Hazel Brugger and Sandra Studer.

However, some viewers defended them, saying they prefer to hear Rylan and Scott’s thoughts on the performances over those of the official hosts. “In stitches at Scott Mills and Rylan tonight,” one fan tweeted. “Brilliant commentators and PLEASE keep talking over the hosts.”

Earlier in the night, viewers also weighed in on Hazel Brugger’s fashion choices, making fun of her glittery sequined dress which they compared to early 2000s CDs and a fish from the cover of a children’s book.

Tonight’s performance kicked off with Australian singer Go-Jo performing his eccentric song Milkshake Man. This was followed by catchy tunes from Ireland, Latvia, and Armenia.

Viewers seemed especially obsessed with Lithuania’s performance, which involved a wind machine and flying debris on stage. The ten countries that made it through to Saturday’s final have been announced, and they include Armenia, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, and Malta.

Unfortunately this means that Australia, Czechia, Georgia, Ireland, Montenegro, and Serbia will be sent home without a trophy. Several Eurovision fans correctly predicted three of the losing nations ahead of tonight’s performances.

Internet sleuths guessed that Georgia would be eliminated because their song was less powerful than the pieces composed by other countries. One also said that the singer representing Ireland sounded too “nervous”, which would cost her points.

Country-pop trio Remember Monday are representing the UK this year, and took to the stage for the first time tonight with their theatrical entry What the Hell Just Happened? The song captures the chaos of the morning after a night that has gone off the rails. They are already guaranteed a spot in Saturday’s Grand Final as part of the ‘big five’, which includes Italy, Spain, France, and Germany.

The Eurovision Grand Final will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
