VIC Reeves has stepped out with wife Nancy Sorrell following a health scare that reportedly saw him rushed to hospital after collapsing at a friend’s wedding.
The 67-year-old comedy legend was reportedly taken away by paramedics after falling ill during the celebrations.
But he was back on his feet as he posed alongside Nancy on the pink carpet at the 2026 Sky Arts Awards at the Roundhouse in London.
Vic, whose real name is Jim Moir, is said to have suffered a medical emergency at a pal’s wedding in Poole over the weekend.
The comedian had been celebrating at the Hotel du Vin when he allegedly collapsed in front of worried guests.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, a source at the event said: “Vic was telling jokes and entertaining people – and obviously everyone was hitting the bar as the party went on just as you’d expect.
“But suddenly it appeared to take a bit of a turn for the worse – there was a commotion in the middle of the group and staff were being asked to call for an ambulance which turned out to be for Vic who wasn’t looking at all well.
“It all happened very quickly.
“The next thing he was being wheeled out by paramedics. It all seemed to shift from lots of laughter to serious concern pretty fast.”
He had been attending the wedding alongside wife Nancy Sorrell, 52.
Vic has previously revealed he has an inoperable benign tumour that left him completely deaf in one ear.
He previously told Adam Buxton on his podcast how he hates having to have his MRI scans.
“The last time they put me in one I said ‘get me out of here quick’,” he said. “I just couldn’t do it, so I ended up having to pay for it, but they got my head which is all they wanted.”
Acoustic neuromas grow on the nerve used for hearing and balance, which as well as causing hearing loss, can result in unsteadiness and a sensation of moving or spinning.
They tend to affect adults aged 30 to 60 and usually have no obvious cause, although a small number of cases are a result of a genetic condition.
