A scenic train trip across Scotland has been named the best in Europe according to a new study. The journey offers impeccable views of some of the country’s most iconic vistas and natural landmarks.
Conducted by FruityKing, a recent study analysed the rating data of thousands of passenger reviews to determine which European train lines offer the most scenic routes for travellers. The analysis revealed that the Kyle Line had the highest average passenger rating, scoring 4.72 out of a possible 5.
The Kyle Line runs from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh. Inverness makes for the starting point of multiple great day trips, including a full-day trip through the Isle of Skye, which you can find via TripAdvisor.

The Kyle Line costs £32 to ride and accompanying children can travel for a mere £1 return each, with up to four children allowed per adult. The line crosses some of the most awe-inspiring and remote landscapes in the Scottish Highlands.
Passengers can comfortably enjoy panoramic views of misty mountains including Ben Wyvis in Easter Ross, the Torridon Peaks in the Northwestern Highlands, and the famous Loch Luichart Estate.
Travellers interested in exploring more under-the-radar destinations along the line can also consider a stop in Duirinish. Trainline has highlighted the town as one of the most underrated, isolated destinations on the UK rail network.
A spokesperson for the ticketing app told the Mirror: “The penultimate stop on the Kyle line, the UK’s most remote yet underrated railway, and with only 17 passengers booked via Trainline in the last year, Duirinish is frequently overlooked.
“This quaint township provides insight into crofting, a practice unique to the Highlands, with the opportunity to spot Highland cows thanks to a nearby dedicated tour.” While you’re there, you can get off at the market town of Dingwall for the Far North Line for more distinctive mountain range views and the Torridon Peaks.

The journey from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh takes roughly 2 hours and 40 minutes, so you can return back to Inverness on the same day.
The passenger review study listed the Isle of Man Steam Railway as the second best train journey in Europe, earning an impressive average rating score of 4.71 out of 5 based on 1,327 reviews.
Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways and West Somerset Railway were also highlighted as top train lines in the study.
As well, Switzerland’s Bernina Express made the list with an average passenger rating of 4.67. The renowned route traverses the Swiss Alps through staggering and stunning mountain passes.
If you’ve been dreaming of a Scotland trip but haven’t had the budget for it, this cheap new route operated by the ‘Ryanair of trains’ might make your plans a reality
Lumo has announced a new route to Glasgow(Image: PA)
You could soon find yourself on a train from London to Scotland for a complete bargain.
Budget-friendly rail company Lumo has just announced a new line going straight from London King’s Cross to Glasgow Queen Street, which promises to be “fantastic value” for customers.
Lumo has previously been dubbed the ‘Ryanair of trains’, drawing comparison to several budget carriers due to its cheaper tickets, baggage limits and lack of first class.

The all-electric company already runs a direct line between Edinburgh and King’s Cross with one-way tickets costing as little as £49 if you book in advance (which can be even cheaper with a railcard).
The extension of the existing service, which has been approved by the ORR, will see Lumo provide two northbound services and one southbound service between London King’s Cross and Glasgow Queen Street on weekdays. They will also provide one in each direction on Sundays.
At present, the only direct rail service between London King’s Cross and Glasgow is by Avanti’s West Coast line, where an off-peak single ticket can cost as much £133, while passengers can see themselves paying out £208 in peak times.
Meanwhile, Lumo’s current Edinburgh-London service hovers just under or over the £50 mark for single tickets, depending on when you travel. While they haven’t set an exact fare for the Glasgow-London tickets, Lumo’s website promises passengers “fantastic value tickets, that don’t cost the earth or your wallet”.
Richard Salkeld, head of communications and partnerships at Lumo told Metro that most of its customers are travellers who want to journey between London and Glasgow but can’t afford extortionate rail prices.
He explained: “Lumo is an open-access operator, which means we take full commercial risk for running the services. We don’t get government or public subsidiary — we take on the risk and have to be confident that we can make it work, all while complementing the existing services that already run.
“Glasgow is somewhere we’re looking forward to serving, and we’re confident we can make it as successful as our London to Edinburgh route.”
Given that Lumo’s route between London and Edinburgh comes in at £49, with Glasgow’s stop coming after, customers can likely expect the tickets to be somewhat more expensive.
While Lumo does not call itself as a budget service, Consumer site Which? claims that the company’s prices and services can be compared to low cost airlines like Ryanair and Easyjet, due to the cheaper tickets, lack of first class carriages, no buffet cart, and baggage limits.
The Espresso Siena will run between the capital Rome and Siena, winding across the pretty hills of Tuscany along the way. Servies are limited and only scheduled until the end of this month

A vintage train brought back from the 1970s will take to the rails once again.
Italy has launched a series of revamped vintage trains in recent years, and now another glamorous locomotive will join the fleet. The Espresso Siena will run between the capital Rome and Siena, winding across the pretty hills of Tuscany along the way.
While the Espresso express will immerse passengers in a vintage railway experience, the train’s Gran Confort first-class carriages have been meticulously restored and brought up to modern standard.
In terms of 70s-style features, the train has plush blue velvet seats, giant panoramic windows and funky 70s wallpaper that clads the carriage partitions. The corridors are also panelled in wood.

“Imagine settling into an armchair, enveloped by the retro charm of the carriages, as the landscape gently transforms outside your large window. Let your gaze wander among the lush vineyards that produce fine wines and breathe in the air filled with history and ancient traditions,” tempts Treni Turistici.
“The Siena Express is not just a means of transport, but a real journey into the soul of Tuscany. It is a unique opportunity to slow down, connect deeply with the beauty of the landscape, and savor the most authentic essence of this region. An experience that nourishes the soul and provides unforgettable memories.”
If you fancy experiencing a nostalgic journey on the Espresso Siena, you’ll need to book quickly as the route is only running for a limited time. Fondazione FS and FS Treni Turistici Italiani are running the service together just until the end of the month.
The service will run for three weekends in the autumn. It will travel from Rome to Siena on 27 September, 4 October and 1 November, departing at 7.42am from Roma Termini station and arriving in Siena at 1.20pm. The return journeys from Siena will take place on 28 September, 5 October and 2 November.
Siena sits in the centre of Tuscany and is distinguished by its medieval brick buildings and its rich art history. In the middle of the city is a fan-shaped central square, Piazza del Campo, which is the site of the Palazzo Pubblico, the Gothic town hall, and Torre del Mangia.
It is known for the Palio di Siena, a horse race held twice each year, on 2 July and 16 August. Ten horses and riders, bareback and dressed in the appropriate colours, take each other on for the glory of the city’s wards. The race is a particularly thrilling spectacle due to the closeness of the racing horses to the crowds of spectators.
The Tube strikes are due to come to an end on Thursday, September 11
The RMT walkout has severely disrupted travel in London for days(Image: GETTY)
The RMT walkout has brought London public transport to a standstill since Sunday, September 7 and is due to end on Thursday, September 11. However, certain routes and lines will still be affected into the early hours of Friday morning as service returns to the TfL Underground network.
On Thursday, September 11, there is limited service on the Tube as well as the DLR. The Central, Northern and District lines were partly running on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday according to the Guardian. More information can be found on the TfL website.
The Elizabeth Line, London Overground and tram network are still operational but extremely busy and unable to stop at certain stations shared with the Tube network.
The Underground network endured five days of disruptions forcing commuters to find alternative routes(Image: GETTY)
The DLR has seen disrupted services on September 9 and September 11 due to strikes in a separate dispute. On Friday, September 12, the DLR and Elizabeth line are expected to have normal service but there will still be no service on the Tube until 8am.
While some disruptions are expected as the service returns, the TfL predicts that all lines will return to normal by late morning on Friday, September 12. However, as the Tube strike comes to a close, strikes are planned to begin on bus services operated by First Bus.
If these go ahead, it will affect services in west, northwest and southwest London from 5am on Friday, September 12 until 5am on Monday, September 15. The RMT walkout disrupting the Tube lines this week was due to a dispute over pay and conditions.
Including a reported demand for a 32-hour working week according to the Telegraph. The union claimed management had refused to seriously engage with their demands.
It also raised concerns over pay, fatigue management and extreme shift patterns faced by its members. It said: “Management’s dismissive approach has fuelled widespread anger and distrust among the workforce, who voted in overwhelming numbers to take strike action.”
Throughout the strike, commuters have turned to buses, bikes, walking and even boats on the Thames to get where they need to be. This in turn has triggered some congestion on London’s roads but it’s businesses that are believed to be paying the price for this strike.
Centre for Economics and Business Research predicted the strike would deliver a £230million blow to the London economy in research carried out for The Standard. It estimated around 700,000 working days would be lost as it affected the three million passengers the Tube usually serves on a daily basis.
Certain routes are still expected to be disrupted for hours after the strike ends(Image: GETTY)
However, the thinktank expects this number to be millions higher due to indirect impacts from the strike. For example, retailers, bars and restaurants receiving a noticeable fall in customers. No talks have reportedly taken place during the strike to resolve the dispute as of Wednesday.
TfL reported around the strikes: “Since the ballot was undertaken, London Underground has offered a 3.4pc pay increase in the ongoing pay discussions. Members of the RMT at London Underground have not had a say on the final pay offer, with the 3.4pc pay increase a figure in line with offers accepted by RMT in recent pay discussions across the rail industry.”
Claire Mann, TfL’s chief operating officer, added: “We are disappointed that the RMT union has announced strike action. We regularly meet with our trade unions to discuss any concerns that they may have, and we recently met with the RMT to discuss some specific points …
“We welcome further engagement with our unions about fatigue and rostering across London Underground, but a reduction in the contractual 35-hour working week is neither practical nor affordable.”
Trains may become available for residents and visitors in Jersey, making a return after nearly 100 years – and it means transport across the island may be easier than ever
Railways in Jersey stopped in 1936 but they could come back(Image: Getty Images/iStockphoto)
It might be easier than ever for Brits to travel to this popular UK holiday spot – as trains may become available in Jersey for the first time again since 1936.
There haven’t been trains in the largest Channel Island in nearly a century, but Jersey Western Railway (JWR) are hoping to bring them back making it easier for people travelling around to the island.
JWR has expressed interest which will provide “affordable, comfortable and sustainable transport for Jersey”, and the trains will follow most of the same original routes.
The proposed idea will make it easier for visitors to travel around the island(Image: Jersey Western Railway)
It would run from its capital St Helier with branches to both La Corbière and the airport. Then in the long run will roll out a dedicated beach service, a direct service from Trenton Square to Jersey Airport, and even a steam train.
There will be free passes for the over-65s and people with a medical or mobility issues, but while there are no solid plans in place, according to the BBC, Alexander Sparrow, founder of JWR, said if the plans were backed, trains would run every seven-and-a-half minutes with a journey costing £4.90.
The Jersey Western Railway service website is encouraging people to express their intrest in a bid to get the trains back. The website reads: “There is only one person in the Government that can approve this on the Island. The Infrastructure Minister. They need to see the interest and wish for the railway to return.
“With your responses, we can prove that Islander’s and Tourists alike, wish for this service to return and restore a bit of Jersey’s History in the process too!”
The old railway service was first opened in 1870 and ran between St Helier and St Aubin with hourly services which were then increased to half-hourly. Then came the launch of a second railway three years later known as Jersey Eastern Railway which took people from St Helier to Gorey Pier.
Bus services then launched which is what is believed to end the popularity of the trains as these buses were operating further and cheaper. The Jersey Eastern Railway closed down in 1929 and the Jersey Railway ended in 1936. However there are still two trains that run, known as Le Petite Train.
The minature trains operate on a small scenic path across St Aubin Bay and runs seven days a week. It can accommodate up to 60 people and is a great attraction for tourists to see the island – however it’s not a commuters journey.
The railway tracks are still there, but have been made into a walking and cycling route instead and visitors can walk or cycle from St Aubin to La Corbière through tree lined track to take in views of St Owen’s Bay and La Corbière Lighthouse which is at the end of the route.

Trains could soon return to the island of Jersey for the first time in 89 years.
The railways of the largest Channel Island have been mothballed since 1936, when Jersey’s extensive bus network outcompeted the train services operating at the time.
Now one company wants to make them available to travellers again. Jersey Western Railway (JWR) has announced plans to bring back trains to provide “affordable, comfortable and sustainable transport for Jersey”.
On a website recently set up to promote the proposals, Jersey Western Railway calls on the public to sign a petition and put pressure on the Infrastructure Minister, the “only …person in the Government that can approve this on the Island. They need to see the interest and wish for the railway to return.”
The firm plans to run the new railway down “a majority of the original Jersey Railway track bed”, which includes a branch to the Airport and Corbière. Particularly exciting for holidaymakers is that JWR wants to provide a dedicated beach service.
“Want to hit the beach but don’t want to get your car sandy? We aim to provide dedicated beach trains to reach your desired beach! You relax, and we do the tidy up!” the website reads.
The train company said there will be free passes for the over-65s and people with a medical or mobility issue.
Alexander Sparrow, founder of JWR, told the BBC that if the plans were backed, trains would run every seven-and-a-half minutes. A journey across the island would cost £4.90.
Jersey’s rail history began in 1870, with a train service that operated between St Helier and St Aubin. It was followed by the Jersey Eastern Railway three years later, which took passengers from St Helier to Gorey Pier.
The two lines lasted for about 60 years, when the bus services on the island outcompeted them.
Just off the coast of Normandy, France and with a flight time of approximately one hour from airports including Birmingham, London and Manchester, the island makes for an ideal destination for a long weekend, or if you’re after a summer staycation.
Despite being the largest of the Channel Islands, Jersey is actually very small in size, measuring just 9 miles by five miles.
Jersey’s slow rolling breaks are the perfect spot to both learn to surf and for experts to hit the waves. You can book a surf lesson as a group or individually with Splash Surf School, located at the original home of surfing in Jersey in St Ouen’s Bay.
Visitors can go well beyond the beaten track and explore the coastline with daily coasteering sessions from Grève de Lecq to be guided through gullies, caves and tunnels to discover secret beaches. Jersey Adventures runs sessions as well as a whole host of other adventurous activities.
The island is home to two famous castles – the medieval Mont Orgueil at Gorey and the 17th century Elizabeth Castle, set on a tidal island in St Aubin’s bay.
Both come with plenty of spots to admire the island views and take in the centuries of history. For more recent history, the island tells the story of the WWII German occupation with bunkers scattered around the island as well as the famous Jersey War Tunnels.
A woman has shared a video of the “most scenic” train route in the world, which travels through the snowy Swiss Alps and has floor to ceiling windows for passengers to enjoy the views – but the price has floored people

Trains are a fantastic mode of transport for people, offering a more eco-friendly alternative to flying or driving, and providing passengers with the chance to take in the stunning scenery along their route. Experiencing the natural beauty of a foreign country can be an awe-inspiring adventure, as there’s always something new to discover when you’re exploring unfamiliar territory.
This is why a particular train journey through the snowy Swiss Alps has left people amazed. The train features floor-to-ceiling windows, offering passengers an unparalleled view of the breathtaking landscape. Eveline, a holidaymaker who regularly shares her train travel experiences on social media, has dubbed this Swiss route “the most scenic train journey in the world.”
One look at her footage and it’s easy to see why. “Want to ride the most magical train in December? Then now is the time to book! It sells out fast!” she captioned a TikTok video where she showed off her scenic train journey.
The clip offers viewers a glimpse of Eveline’s perspective from the train, featuring panoramic views of the snow-covered Swiss Alps as the train winds its way through the mountains, even passing through tunnels carved directly into the rock.

“POV: it’s December and you took the train from Switzerland to Italy,” Eveline wrote on the video as she continued to show the interior of the train, which featured floor to ceiling windows for passengers to fully take in the surroundings they were travelling through.
She went on to reveal: “This is the Bernina Express and it will take you on a scenic ride through glaciers and palms, parts of the route is an UNESCO heritage.”
The railway connects the Swiss Alpine city of Chur with Tirano in northern Italy, making numerous stops on its way. The full trip lasts approximately four-and-a-half hours, though travellers enjoy endless entertainment simply by gazing through the windows at the spectacular snowy peaks they pass.
During the winter months, passengers also journey through snow-covered woodlands resembling a perfect winter fairy tale. The complete four-and-a-half-hour rail experience costs around 66CHF (£61) per person for economy seating, or 113 CHF (£104) for premium class accommodation.
However, Eveline explained you can easily cut this expense in half by disembarking at one of the intermediate stations. “Or travel with an interrail pass and then you only need to book a seat for 32 CHF in first class,” she said.
Travellers must ensure they purchase tickets from the correct website, otherwise they risk boarding a “normal” service without the panoramic windows.
People were quick to express their awe in the comments, with many expressing a keen desire to experience the train journey.
“Omg this is a dream,” one individual commented, while another exclaimed: “Omg, this is like a movie.”
Another shared their personal experience, saying: “Me and my hubby travelled on the Bernina Express last month it was stunning. Window shopped in St Moritz – such a beautiful part of the world and not far from Italy.”
One person offered some advice, writing: “I did this and it was stunning, but don’t pay so much for the Berninia – just get the normal train. The Bernina was just and the end of our normal train carriage, so it was a lot cheaper!”

McGregor, 37, has been putting in the work on the Thai pads during his recent stay in Italy and has since started sparring.
Footage of the former two-division champion trading heavy leather with two young sparring partners started doing the rounds on social media last weekend.
McGregor didn’t take it lightly on his training partners for the day, throwing some full-pelt shots their way.
The Dubliner’s apparent refusal to take it easy on the youngsters annoyed several MMA fans, one of whom wrote on X: “Hmmm. Not a good look for McGregor.”
Another said: “Still an embarrassing show. He is such a shell of his former self.”
And another said: “Bullying young fighters.”
One remarked: “Embarrassing, TBH.”
Another chimed in: “McGregor beating up 12-year-old kids – what a downfall.”
He was set to make his grand cage comeback last June against Michael Chandler but withdrew from the Sin City showdown after breaking his left pinky toe.
McGregor took a major step towards returning to the cage late last month by re-entering the UFC‘s drug testing pool.

One American traveller has given her verdict of a luxury steam train trip to Bath, however there was one thing about the experience that had her online following stunned – the price of it.
Influencer Eryn Krouse took a trip on a British steam train adventure via the Belmond British Pullman service. The luxury vintage train carries passengers all over the country, including on a special day trip to ‘Historic Bath’. However, her fans have been left slack-jawed at the cost of a trip aboard the historic train.
The British Pullman is so fancy, it requires its own dress code that passengers must adhere to while enjoying four-course meals and bottomless brunches.
The train doesn’t just carry travellers to their destination, but whisks them back through the decades. This magnificent train provides sumptuous journeys throughout the nation, including visits to grand historical properties like Highclere Castle and Burghley House.
Excursions depart from London Victoria and sweep guests through Britain’s glorious countryside, showcasing varied terrain and breathtaking panoramas.
The compartments are absolutely remarkable, with travellers relishing every element, especially the Cygnus, designed by filmmaker Wes Anderson. Food lovers are treated to a feast as every train package features mouth-watering cuisine, from a five-course meal accompanied by champagne to delicate pastries and fragrant teas.

Passengers must follow a rigorous dress code, and can participate in various special activities on the train including a Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea or a Murder Mystery Lunch. The service also ventures to the West Country on a distinctive ‘Historic Bath’ expedition, which is where one social media star travelled on the 1920s-style locomotive.
Content creator Eryn Krouse, originally from Southern California, filmed her journey on the British Pullman during a day trip to Bath. The social media personality revealed the excursion had “been on my bucket list for a while”.
Eryn and her friend were treated to a “beautifully set up” table and a brunch that kicked off with a Bellini, which she said was “kept full” by the attentive staff. The journey to Bath offered stunning views of “lots of lush, green countryside with beautiful flowers, quaint farmhouses and tons of cows and sheep”.
After savouring a “yummy” main course of smoked Scottish salmon with caviar, an English muffin and a poached egg, she took time to explore the cabin cars – including the one designed by Wes Anderson. Eryn noted that “even the bathroom is stunning” before she and her friend ventured out to explore Bath.
They had around two-and-a-half hours to wander around the city, visiting the Roman Bath Museum and Jane Austen Museum before returning to London. Once back on the train, she found her table prepared for an early dinner service featuring a lavish four-course meal.
She shared: “Our four-course meal started off with yet another champagne toast and a bottle of rose. This fried haddock ball was probably the most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted.
“The bread was warm and fresh and I definitely helped myself to seconds. The main course was this lamb, beautifully presented. I’m not the biggest fan of lamb, but I enjoyed it anyway.
“Then a cheese selection followed by a rhubarb pie was served and we got back to London full and very sleepy. It was an incredible experience and worth every penny.”
However, social media users were left gobsmacked by the hefty price tag of £620 per passenger. One user gasped: “Gosh that’s super expensive!”
Not all trips come with such a steep price, with a solo table starting at £560 for a trip to Bath in April 2026.
The thrilling murder mystery lunch begins at £485, while some journeys can rocket up to a staggering £1,280 per passenger for a private compartment for two.
This scenic railway journey through the Cambrian Mountains has been named in the top ten percent of attractions worldwide in the 2025 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards
This stunning train journey takes travellers to one of Wales’ most iconic tourist attractions(Image: Media Wales)
A breathtaking railway journey in Wales has been hailed as one of the world’s top tourist attractions. The Vale of Rheidol Railway in Ceredigion has earned global acclaim, landing a spot in the top ten percent of attractions worldwide in the 2025 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards, which are entirely based on visitor reviews and ratings over a 12-month period.
The scenic trip begins at Aberystwyth and takes passengers deep into the heart of the Cambrian Mountains, ending at the iconic Devil’s Bridge. This Welsh gem is actually three bridges built atop each other, towering over the Mynach and Rheidol streams.
The railway itself boasts a rich history, having been in operation for over 120 years since its opening in 1902. Initially built to serve local communities and transport goods like lead and timber, it now enjoys a reputation as one of the most picturesque railway journeys for all ages, reports Wales Online. Meanwhile, a warning has been issued to Brit tourists planning all-inclusive holidays to Spain.
Railway travellers rave about the impressive views of Devil’s Bridge(Image: Media Wales)
The line spans a modest 12 miles and it takes about an hour to reach Devil’s Bridge. Once there, you can enjoy a snack or a hearty meal and a pint at the Hafod Hotel, which offers stunning views of the valley below from its seating area.
Visitors can then embark on two different walks: a brief stroll beneath the bridges offering the chance to witness the cascading water up close, and a lengthier, more challenging trek deep into the Rheidol gorge where spectacular views of the 300ft Mynach waterfalls await.
The Travellers’ Choice Awards rely on authentic feedback, with only a limited number of attractions earning this prestigious recognition annually. “Being recognised by the people who travel with us is what means the most,” said Llyr ap Iolo, general manager of the Vale of Rheidol Railway.
“Whether it’s their first visit or their fiftieth, we aim to make the experience special every time. This award reflects the hard work and passion of our staff and volunteers, and we are proud to share it with them.”
The Vale of Rheidol Railway boasts an exceptionally impressive TripAdvisor rating of 4.6 out of five stars, based on nearly 1,400 reviews. One traveller declared he was “absolutely amazed at how good it is”, whilst another described it as a “lovely experience with incredible views”.

A recent visitor penned: “Absolutely wonderful experience on this railway. We paid a little extra to travel first class and it was well worth it. Travelling in a 1920s cabin was so nostalgic and humbling. The station was immaculate in every way. Even the WCs were immensely clean. The pride the staff took in every aspect of the train itself was clear to see – even the chimney on the engine was gleaming.”
Another visitor gushed: “A brilliant afternoon spent on this quaint steam train. From start to finish, spectacular views. Devil’ls Bridge was excellent along with the Devil’s Punch bowl. The museum entry which comes with the train tickets was very good. A must do activity if you’re in Aberystwyth.”

Grahame Morris, the MP for Easington said: “I’m delighted to share that the Office of Rail and Road has confirmed that Grand Central Trains will begin stopping at Seaham Station from December 2025 to December 2026. [There will be] four stopping services per day in each direction.”
Home to roughly 21,500 inhabitants, Seaham is a bustling harbour town along the Durham Coast, boasting award-winning hotels, an extensive array of cafés and breathtaking clifftop vistas.
Seaham Beach features a combination of rocky and sandy shoreline, extending roughly one mile along the town’s coast, from the harbour wall to the northern edge of the settlement. Seaham is famous for vibrant sea glass – manmade glass that was previously discarded at sea before being tumbled and shaped by the water over several years and eventually washing ashore.
A visitor said on Tripadvisor this past April: “Lovely beach with beautiful coloured pebbles and sea glass. There are car parks along the seafront – only cost £3 for the whole day. Town is within walkable distance and has a number of good fish and chips shop. Bell’s fish restaurant has plenty of seating inside when the weather’s cold. There’s also a market. Great for a relaxing day out.”

The news emerges as UK rail regulators approved extended track access rights for Grand Central’s current operations through to 2038. The trains will be manufactured at Hitachi’s Newton Aycliffe plant, the company’s British manufacturing hub.
Arriva officially submitted an application to the UK Office of Rail and Road, the appropriate authority, to broaden its Grand Central operations into Lincolnshire from 2026. The operator is also pursuing approval for plans involving two additional daily return journeys between Bradford and London, plus an early morning and late evening return from York to London, along with connections to Seaham, which would mark the town’s first and only direct link to London.
Morris added: “Although the approval is currently for a one-year period using 5-car trains, I’m confident that these services will be well-used by residents across our community.
“This means that our constituency will now have direct rail links to York and London, alongside increased capacity to local destinations such as Sunderland and Hartlepool.”
“[Isak] is still our player. He’s contracted to us,” he added.
“We, to a degree, control what is next for him. I would love to believe all possibilities are still available to us. My wish is that he stays, but that’s not in my full control.
“We have not received a formal offer for Alex, from any club.”
Isak scored 27 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions for Newcastle last season.
Howe’s side lost their third match of pre-season on Wednesday with a 1-0 defeat by a K-League XI.
They face fellow Premier League outfit Tottenham at Seoul World Cup Stadium on Sunday.
Majorca is known for its beaches, nightlife and sunny weather, but one woman decided to try something a little different by riding a vintage train through the Spanish island
A tourist was mesmerised by the views from a vintage train ride in Majorca (stock photo)(Image: Eduardo R via Getty Images)
Majorca is one of Spain’s stunning Balearic Islands, renowned for its pristine beaches boasting crystal-clear waters, secluded coves, and vibrant nightlife scenes, particularly around hotspots like Palma and Magaluf. The island’s sunny and warm climate consistently attracts British tourists seeking the perfect European summer getaway.
Lauren Jade abandoned life in the UK to embrace full-time travelling and is currently exploring Majorca in Spain. She documents her journeys across social media platforms and has created detailed travel guides to help fellow adventurers in planning their overseas escapades. The 30-year-old Brit recently shared a TikTok video showcasing an experience her viewers might not have discovered.
Lauren brought her viewers along as she went on a journey aboard a historic wooden train from Palma to Sóller.
She was completely mesmerised by the breathtaking scenery throughout the hour-long ride, including views of the magnificent Serra de Tramuntana mountain range.
At the beginning of the video, the globe-trotting content creator appears completely stunned as she gazes through the carriage window, with her mouth open and a hand pressed against her cheek.
In her post’s caption, she penned: “Majorca’s BEAUTIFUL train ride. This is the Palma to Sóller train and it traverses through the incredible Serra de Tramuntana mountains, citrus groves and tunnels carved by hand.”
Lauren captured the spectacular scenery as she travelled past the towering peaks and green woodlands, absorbing nature’s magnificence.
The railway’s official website characterises the journey as “an hour-long journey that takes you to another time and another Majorca”.
The travel influencer continued: “It’s a 1-hr journey on a vintage wooden train that has been running since 1912(!) and it’s still one of the most scenic ways to explore inland Majorca.
“It’s perfect if you’re not renting a car as Sóller is one of the MUST visit places in Majorca you simply can’t miss.
“It drops you right in Sóller town – where you can explore and then hop on the vintage tram to Port de Sóller (which I highly recommend).”
Content cannot be displayed without consent
Sóller sits near Majorca’s north west coastline and is frequently dubbed the ‘Valley of the Orange Trees’ thanks to the stunning citrus orchards that surround the town, forming a significant part of both its heritage and economy.
The town is also well-known for its centre, boasting beautifully maintained historic buildings and the charming heritage tram that Lauren highlighted.
According to the official website, the Palma to Sóller train features lacquered wooden floors, walls and ceilings, alongside traditional sash windows, ornate gilded light fittings and leather-and-metal seating.
Passengers can adjust their seat positioning to face either towards or away from their travel companions, depending on the journey direction.
First-class carriages offer enhanced luxury with comfortable sofas replacing standard seating.
Lauren advised her TikTok followers to choose the left-hand side when departing Palma for the “best views.”
She also suggested purchasing tickets in advance online, warning that services become particularly crowded during the summer months.
The video has attracted more 60 comments, with one user, a seasoned visitor to Majorca, confessing: “Wow I didn’t know about this and have been so many times!”.
They continued: “Defo on my list Thanks for sharing.” Another user enthused: “Absolutely one of my favourite trips! Should be on everyone’s list to visit.”
Filled with scenic vistas of lush countryside, sugar-like beaches and crystal-clear waters, this short but impressive train journey has been crowned one of the country’s best
This 53-minute train journey will put your morning commute to shame(Image: Getty Images)
Idle along one of England’s most picturesque stretches of coastline on this stunning train journey that costs less than a tenner. The UK’s railways aren’t perhaps the first thing that springs to mind when you think of sugar-like beaches and crystal-clear waters. Plagued by constant delays, last-minute cancellations and insufferably busy carriages, many Brits only hop on board a train if they have no other choice.
However, if you look hard enough, you’ll find a slew of enchanting routes that snake through lush countryside before rolling past miles of soft golden sands and beach huts. The Riviera Line from Exeter to Paignton is no exception, and urgently needs to be added to your bucket list.
This breathtaking route has unsurprisingly been named the best in the UK(Image: Getty Images)
Featuring 12 stops altogether, the train departs from Exeter St Davids, making its way down to the River Exe before hugging the coastline until you reach Teignmouth (this is the most scenic section of the line, so make sure you reserve a good window seat). From here, you’ll head back inland to Newton Abbot, edging close to Dartmoor National Park before heading back to shore for the final three stops in Torre, Torquay and Paignton.
Touted as the ‘family hub of the English Riviera’, exploring Paignton or staying overnight is well worth the effort. You’ll have a long stretch of pristine beach right on your doorstep, along with a promenade, traditional pier, colourful beach huts and even palm trees. Here, you’ll also find rows of arcades, thrilling rides, mini-golf courses and the acclaimed Paignton Zoo.
As previously reported, Paignton is about to become even more attractive following the council’s approval of a huge £14 million regeneration scheme. Described as a ‘once-in-a-generation opportunity’, the proposal, which has secured the backing of the Torbay Council planning committee, aims to revamp two of the town’s seafront areas as part of a broader sea defence initiative.
Apart from giving Paignton’s promenade a facelift with new seating terraces, the existing shelters, kiosks and cafes will find new homes along the sea line. The makeover includes a fresh entrance at South Green, opening up vehicle access to the seafront – though cars won’t be allowed onto the promenade itself.
“Like the rest of the English Riviera, Paignton benefits from a mild climate and sub-tropical palm trees, giving that real continental, holiday feel, and when we are blessed with good weather, you could be anywhere in the world,” hails The English Riviera tourist board. “But, like all our coastal towns, they showcase their own beauty in the winter months too, so whatever time of year you choose to visit, you are sure to have an enjoyable stay.”
This stunning train journey features 27 miles of scenic vistas(Image: https://greatscenicrailways.co.uk/)
With all of this in mind, it’s no surprise the Riviera Line was crowned the most scenic train journey in the country by National Geographic. Outranking prestigious tracks including the Cambrian Coast Highway and the iconic Western Scenic Wonders – the 27-mile journey was hailed for showcasing the ‘best views the English Riviera has to offer’.
“South Devon’s Riviera Line connects Exeter with Paignton, threading its way past towering cliffs, numerous estuaries (look out for egrets, one of the UK’s rarest birds), quaint market towns and Powderham Castle, with its deer-filled grounds,” the publication wrote. “Disembark in Newton Abbot to visit Newton’s Place, a 19th-century church housing a small museum that explores how railways transformed this part of Devon in the 1800s.”
You can disembark at any of the coastal towns if you’re desperate to dip your toes in the sea(Image: Getty Images)
The Exeter to Paignton service, which takes around 53 minutes, departs multiple times a day. If you’re flexible with dates, you can grab single adult fare for as little as £8.40. There is a shorter version of this train which doesn’t stop at St Thomas, Starcross, or Dawlish Warren – cutting around 13 minutes from the journey, but still offering some pretty fantastic sea views.

Reporter Lucy Marshall felt like she went back in time as she rode the Northern Belle train last week. She shared her experience after paying a hefty price for the luxury experience from Yorkshire to Edinburgh

The proud Yorkshire-born reporter previously worked as Life Writer at Hull Live, as well as a News Reporter for Yorkshire Live and Leeds Live.
Reporter Lucy Marshall spent the day on the Northern Belle, travelling from Yorkshire to Edinburgh and back(Image: Lucy Marshall)
It’s 8am on a Thursday morning and bag pipes can be heard around Wakefield Westgate station as a sea of mothers, daughters, grandparents and loved up couples could be seen dressed up to the nines on the platform awaiting the Northern Belle train.
Steam bellows out of the train before coming to a halt. Passengers beam as train staff, dressed in smart, traditional railway uniform roll out branded red carpets and greet guests as they board the luxurious carriages named after British castles or stately homes around the UK. I feel like a Royal Family member and can’t wait for my first sip of champagne.
As a regular train traveller – who more than often ends up with cancelled journeys, rowdy passengers or delays – I couldn’t wait to get a taste of this luxurious experience that I often see celebrities and influencers raving about on social media. So what better time than for my sister’s 30th birthday to enjoy such a treat. Loved ones had also shared stories of how “amazing” the train is and insist it is a must-try. But while I was excited, priced at a whopping £550 per person, my expectations were high.
The deluxe train takes passengers on rides to racecourses, castles, seaside towns, and more. We were travelling from West Yorkshire to Edinburgh, where we would also experience a tour of the Royal Yatch Britannia. The train picked up passengers from Huddersfield, Wakefield and York. It was due to also stop at Leeds but due to a fault [shock] this stop was taken off the pick up list.
After a wonderful greeting, I was seated in the Harlech carriage – the last one. If you are with a group, you will be put in a four booth seat, while couples were sat at a two-seater table at the other side.

The cocktail drinking began from an early hour(Image: Lucy Marshall)
We enjoyed a yogurt and fruit breakfast to start(Image: Lucy Marshall)
We also loved that a magician came round and performed tricks which left us totally baffled and wowed. The views from the train up to Scotland were amazing to see and I also observed the toilets were clean and enjoyed the White Company hand cream and luxury of using cotton hand towels instead of tissue or a dryer.
Four-hour stop in Edinburgh
I can’t believe the late Queen also stood here on the Royal Britannia(Image: Lucy Marshall)
After arriving at Edinburgh station, stuffed with champagne and delicious food, we got on a a private transfer from Waverley Station to Leith, before our tour of the Royal Britannia.
For some 40 years, the magnificent Royal Yacht Britannia cruised round the world carrying the late Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh on 968 State visits. They sailed more than a million miles, entertaining impressed prime ministers, presidents and foreign monarchs, while keeping the flag flying for Great Britain, before it stopped sailing in 1997.
It was also used for a pre-wedding party in July, 2011 as the extended Royal Family joined Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall for a cocktail party on board.
I loved seeing the staff quarters on board and we could not get over the size of the bed that the Queen and Prince Phillip would stay in. The beds looked like they were made for children. It was totally fascinating and we had a hand held phone which provided informative information. I loved hearing about the Queen’s favourite places on board and seeing the dining room where they held important dinners.
I loved visiting the Royal Yacht Britannia(Image: Lucy Marshall)
If you are a royal fan, keen sailor or love history, you will really enjoy it. Those on board the Northern Belle who weren’t keen on this spent the four hour break from the train exploring Scotland’s capital city instead.
Six-course meal and evening experience
The Northern Belle looks even more beautiful at night time as the lamps inside make it look magical.
We got back on the train for more champagne before a sumptuous six-course dinner with fine wines on our memorable journey home.
Then we ordered our three main courses at the start of the journey, as well as selecting the bottle of wine we would share to accompany each course and our selection of port to go with the cheese course. I opted for the Lishman’s of Ilkley Ham, Hock Terrain, followed by the Terroir et Saisons slow-braised daube, and finished off with Eton Mess of Annabel Strawberries.
The selection of canapes served onboard(Image: Lucy Marshall)
While waiting for a main course we enjoyed a selection of canapés – including Yorkshire Asparagus Donut, British Raj Chicken, and Royal Siberian Baerii Caviar. The caviar canape was by far my favourite; it was salty and delicious.
I couldn’t quite believe how amazing the quality of food was on a train. Haven eaten in plenty of high end and Michelin-starred restaurants, this meal was up there thanks to the fantastic presentation, incredible flavours, and quality.
But the star of the show was yet to come – the cheeseboard. Oh my, the size of the board was as big as the tables. It was simply a cheeselover’s dream. We had the choice of Batch Clothbound Cheddar, Duke of Wellington Blue, Flat Capper Brie and Sheffield Forge. Of course I tried them all. There was also a choice of different crackers, jams and chutneys.
I was in cheese heaven(Image: Lucy Marshall)
Around this time, a two-man band came around and played music at each seats. This was super fun and got everyone clapping together on the train which was really sweet. While fabulous, they only did one song at each seat. Throughout the rest of the journey both travelling to and from Edinburgh there was no music. So I think considering it is listed as part of the experience, the band could have played for longer or some classical music could have been put on in the background.
The evening was finished off with us ordering espresso and porn star martinis. I was shocked that not all drinks were including within the price. While it was great to share a bottle of wine, and that is enough, throughout the rest of the long journey if you want a drink you have to pay extra for it. To be honest I think this is pretty appalling when you are paying £550 I think the price should cover all drinks for the day.
Overall I absolutely loved this experience and was totally wowed. It has also made me want to try other fancy train rides too. It’s a brilliant way to not only enjoy luxury, spend a long period of time having fun with friends, a partner or family, but it also allows you to see new places.
While I think it is totally justified it’s an expensive experience, I do think £350-£400 would be a more appropriate amount for what we got on the day. If they included all drinks and provided more entertainment I believe it would be worth the full price.
But would I ride it again? Absolutely.
Would you pay this much to ride a train? Comment below.
A luxury train journey vowing to ‘showcase the very best of modern England and Wales’ has hit a major snag following a last-minute cancellation, despite passengers forking out thousands on a ticket
The stunning train journey showcases the very best of modern England and Wales(Image: Getty Images)
The country’s most luxurious new train which idles past rolling countryside and golden beaches has hit a major snag – for the second time this month. There’s no denying the UK’s railways are in dire need of significant reform. Riddled with hefty delays and last-minute cancellations – most Brits have endured the commute from hell thanks to unreliable trains and overcrowded carriages.
When you’re forking out a staggering £11,000 for a double cabin, you would expect a much better, more efficient, service. However, the acclaimed Belmond has axed its inaugural run of its newest fleet, the Britannic Explorer, once again.
The Britannic Explorer has been branded one of the poshest trains in the world(Image: Belmond)
Featuring an onboard spa, a world-class menu curated by a Michelin-star chef, and sleek rooms that look like they belong in a five-star hotel – the Britannic Explorer is the epitome of elegance. Earlier this year, the sleeper train unveiled it will be taking passengers on an incredible three-night journey to Wales via the west of England and the iconic Cotswolds.
Not only do guests get to marvel at stunning stretches of coastline, lush mountain ranges and unspoilt countryside – they can also partake in excursions such as hikes in the Welsh national parks, clay pigeon shooting and a trip to a luxury boozer.
The unique experience, does however come with an insane price tag – with a double cabin costing £11,000.
Hopping on board isn’t cheap, with double cabins priced at £11,000(Image: Belmond)
“Highlights on the Wales route include a picnic-style lunch featuring delights like rarebit and leek tart,” the company said. “Each dining experience onboard will reflect the landscape outside the train’s windows, using the freshest local ingredients to create an immersive culinary journey that celebrates the diverse flavours and stories of England and Wales.”
The boujee train was due to depart from London Victoria at 3.45pm on Monday, July 21 – but passengers were informed the night before that the journey had been suddenly cancelled. This follows a similar decision to cancel a three-night trip to Cornwall earlier this month (July 4).
The train has been cancelled twice this month(Image: Belmond)
Speaking to the Mirror, a Belmond spokesperson said the ‘difficult decision’ to postpone the inaugural journey of the Britannic Explorer was not ‘taken lightly’. “During the routine pre-trip protocol checks over the weekend, we encountered unforeseen technical issues related to the door mechanism,” they said.
“Despite the dedicated efforts of our engineering team, the issue could not be resolved in time, and as a result, we had to make the difficult decision to cancel the trip. As always, guest welfare and reliability of our train operations remain paramount.”
Belmond confirmed that that every affected guest was offered a full refund, along with a complimentary future journey aboard the Britannic Explorer in 2025 or 2026. “In addition, we are covering any related expenses incurred as a result of the cancellation,” the spokesperson added. “Our team worked closely with each guest to arrange immediate alternative accommodation where needed.”

From green-capped mountains to creamy golden beaches and dense forests, this two-hour train journey has been crowned one of the country’s best – and it’s pretty easy to see why
Hop on board this magical train for endless views of mountains and beaches(Image: Getty Images)
Watch rolling countryside and golden sandy beaches from the comfort of your own seat on this picturesque train journey. Let’s face it, the UK’s railways don’t exactly have the best reputation. Plagued with constant delays, cancellations, and crowded carriages – hopping on a train for leisure seems like an oxymoron.
However, if you look hard enough, you’ll find a slew of beautiful trains that seem worlds away from your bleak morning commute. Take the Machynlleth to Pwllheli route in Wales, for example, which was recently named one of the best train journeys in the country by Conde Nast Traveller.

The 31-mile track, which lasts for around two hours and 12 minutes, idles through breathtaking mountains, stunning beaches, and dense forests, and can cost less than £20 for a return.
“Just inside the southernmost rim of Snowdonia National Park, this route is blessed by nature from the moment the train departs,” the publication hailed. “Passengers gaze onto scenes of tall grass smattered with waist-high wildflowers and puffy clouds over peaks fringed with forest… Not long after Dovey Junction station, the ride follows the bends of the River Dyfi until it opens wide onto the Cardigan Bay coast, shaped by fingers of creamy sand and dunes melting into the water.”
The train has 25 stops, including the ‘most isolated station in Wales’, Dovey Junction, and the acclaimed seaside town of Barmouth – just make sure you get a window seat to make the most of the journey. Most of the track hugs the country’s stunning coastline, allowing for plenty of beach vistas and sea views. However, there are no first class carriages, so it might be worth bringing your own train picnic.

You can catch an indirect train from London Euston, which includes a stop over at Birmingham but only takes three hours and 52 minutes. Single adult fares start from £37.20.
After arriving in Machynlleth, you can hop straight onto the train to Pwllheli or spend the night in the market town. Here, you’ll find an array of museums, the Michelin-starred restaurant Ynyshir, and – if you time it right – Machynlleth Comedy Festival.

Major expansion plans have been revealed, as one of the UK’s busiest railway stations looks to double its passenger capacity over the next three years – handling thousands of passengers every hour
The huge project is expected to be conducted in three phases – and will take years to complete(Image: PA)
One of the UK’s busiest railway stations has unveiled ambitious expansion plans to handle millions of extra passengers over the next three years.
Earlier this month (Thursday, July 3) St Pancras Highspeed and Eurostar penned a letter of intent to expand capacity at St Pancras International – to support growing demand for ‘sustainable cross-border travel’. The partnership follows an independent study commissioned last year that explored how the popular station could evolve to meet rising visitor numbers in the future.
According to Rail UK, architecture practice Hawkins\Brown has been appointed to undertake and deliver a detailed design and feasibility study. This will allow the businesses to assess how the station can be reimagined to accommodate more passengers and operate more efficiently.
The expansion will be conducted in three phases, with bold aims for the station to be able to handle a staggering 5,000 passengers per hour by 2028. Phase three will take place in the 2030s, and will explore long-term opportunities to ‘drive growth’ following the capacity increase – including potentially relocating the arrivals flow to upstairs.
The railway can currently handle around 2,000 passengers per hour(Image: PA)
Richard Thorp, chief operating officer at London St. Pancras Highspeed, said the station was ‘delighted’ to be joining forces with Eurostar to expand its capacity. “With growing passenger demand for international train travel, it is important that St. Pancras International station is future-proofed and optimised to accommodate this,” he added.
“With a shared ambition and collaborative approach, we can ensure our iconic station is ready to support this demand. We’re looking forward to getting started on a new era of connectivity between London and Europe.”
The cost of the mega expansion has yet to be confirmed(Image: Ian Vogler / Daily Mirror)
Simon Lejeune of Eurostar also welcomed the news, stating it was ‘proud’ to be part of plans to better the customer experience and ‘reimagine our space for the future’. Describing Eurostar as the ‘green gateway to Europe’, he added: “As we plan to expand our fleet from the early 2030s and increase services to France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and now Germany and Switzerland, this project will play a vital role in enabling that growth and continuing our seamless and unique customer experience.”
The concept design and feasibility study are due to be finished towards the end of the year, when a formal design and construction plan has been developed. At the time of writing, no estimated costs for the project have been released.

The announcement comes shortly after Eurostar’s monopoly of the Temple Mills depot site has fallen under close scrutiny – with several competitors showing interest in running similar routes from England to France. A report conducted by the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) earlier this year found there is ‘some available capacity’ at the depot for more trains to be stabled, serviced and maintained.
The conclusion was well received by Virgin Group, which says it is now ‘ready to take up the challenge’ of launching high-speed passenger train services through the Channel Tunnel. “The Temple Mills depot is the only facility in the UK which can accommodate European-style trains and claims suggesting it was at capacity have been blocking Virgin from coming to the line,” a spokesperson said. “Virgin is therefore very pleased with the outcome and we thank the ORR for commissioning this report, which will now unlock competition on the cross-Channel route for the benefit of all passengers.”
French manufacturer Alstom is also eyeing up Temple Mills, after signing an €850 million (around £715 million) contract to provide and maintain 12 of its double-decker trains for a Proxima, a private operator in France – as well as France’s state-owned company The Société nationale des chemins de fer français (SNCF).
As previously reported, Chief Executive Henri Poupart-Lafarge says the new fleet could lower fares and increase capacity in the undersea Channel Tunnel. However, it will first need to seek approval from regulators to make sure it adheres to strict Channel Tunnel safety rules.
Meanwhile, Eurostar has already pledged to ramp up its offering as part of a major €2 billion (approximately £1.7bn) investment. Last month, the company announced it would launch a fleet of up to 50 trains that will be in service from the early 2030s, operating three new direct routes. You can learn more about the upcoming routes here.

China is a popular travel destination in Asia and one tourist visited a busy city in the country and shared everything that blew him away during his three-day trip

China, one of the world’s most populous and powerful nations, is a magnet for tourists thanks to its booming economy, vast military, status as a manufacturing powerhouse, and cutting-edge technology. The country’s iconic attractions like Beijing’s Great Wall and Forbidden City are major draws for tourists.
With its deep historical roots, stunning natural scenery, and dynamic culture, not to mention the delectable Chinese cuisine, China continues to draw visitors from all corners of the globe. Riyan Ruparelia, a content creator known as Bearded Travels, took to TikTok to share his travel experiences in Chongqing, one of China’s major central cities. Chongqing is celebrated for its rugged terrain and has earned the nickname ‘Mountain City’, nestled near the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers.
In his TikTok video, Riyan exclaimed: “China is living in the future so here’s everything that blew my mind on my most recent three-day trip to Chongqing.
“Starting off with the hotels, the majority of which have smart rooms where you can control pretty much everything from the click of a button, including this huge projector screen and they literally have smart toilets everywhere.”
He stayed at the ISEYA Panoramic Hotel, where room service is delivered by “an entire robot“, which he was amazed by.
The tourist was amazed by the city’s “insane” engineering feats, noting that Chongqing was “built on a mountain” and has a population of over 30 million people.
Riyan remarked: “You can be in a main square with shops and restaurants all around you and then realise you’re on the 22nd floor and if that’s not enough, the engineers actually built an entire train track into a residential building which then proceeds to wrap around a mountain, and believe it or not the train doesn’t make any noise whatsoever.”

The travel content creator was also impressed by the prevalence of electric cars in China, many of which were unknown brands that offered “super luxurious” features and “absolutely incredible performance”.
Riyan continued: “And if you’re in two minds you can get a bike slash car but what blew my mind most was the skyline at night time. This city lights up and it feels like you’re in some sort of sci-fi movie.
“The drone shows every Saturday are next level so if you want a taste of the future then make sure to pay China a visit because it will really surprise you.”
According to travel experts at China Discovery, tourists flock to Chongqing mainly for the Yangtze River cruise which offers breathtaking views of the majestic Three Gorges Dam.
Besides the inspiring landscape, Chongqing is renowned for its local cuisine, most notably, the spicy hot pot.
The clip on TikTok by Riyan has racked more than up over 80 comments. One user said: “Omg I can’t get my head over this! This is crazy! I do want to visit China!”
Another user was floored by the advancement, saying: “They are so far ahead it’s amazing.”
