Jaw-dropping Emmerdale twist has ‘long-lasting’ fallout – but a bigger shock is ahead

EXCLUSIVE Emmerdale boss Laura Shaw told the Mirror about the fallout to Sarah Sugden killing Dr Todd on the ITV soap, teasing Sarah could soon find out another big secret

Emmerdale Mack Boyd star Lawrence Robb confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing

There could be another big shock for Sarah Sugden on the way on Emmerdale, in the fallout to her killing Dr Todd.

Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, soap boss Laura Shaw teased another huge secret would rock Sarah at some point. While fans are already in the know about a big twist that will no doubt derail her life, Sarah is yet to discover something rather huge.

On Sunday night we saw Sarah accidentally kill Todd, after a showdown with Charity Dingle. Charity had confronted her rapist, wanting a confession after the police closed the case.

Sarah walked in to the house and heard the accusation, realising Todd had raped Charity. It was just before Todd was about to expose Charity’s baby to Sarah that disaster struck.

Sarah pushed Todd, causing her to slip and fall. As she fell, Todd slammed her head on the table and died almost instantly, with Sarah and Charity watching on in horror.

Of course this was shocking, but for Sarah it’s not over it seems. Laura told us that another big shock was still to come for the character, as both Sarah and Charity deal with the aftermath of Todd’s demise.

She explained: “They are locked in a secret and that’s going to be long-lasting and going forward, that’s going to affect their relationship. Obviously, there’s still the baby secret to come out at some point.”

As we pointed out that the baby reveal was inevitably going to be exposed at some point, Laura agreed. She said: “It’s going to, it’s got to happen at some point.

“And how that will affect the story with regards to the murder and Todd, you’ll have to wait and see.” So, Sarah WILL find out about baby Leyla, meaning another huge shock is set to rattle her after she’s just turned killer.

We will see the turmoil threaten to rip Charity and her granddaughter Sarah apart, so will Charity’s betrayal regarding Leyla end their bond for good? It seems, according to Laura, this killer twist will impact the pair for a while yet.

As for the immediate fallout, the soap is keeping coy about what happens next. Very vague spoilers have revealed that in the fallout to Sunday’s death twist, Monday will see Sarah’s life turned upside down.

Charity will be desperate to cling onto her secret, meaning the baby lie. Whether Sarah could be exiting the soap after her killer actions remains to be seen for now!

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX. * Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads .

Taking to Instagram, she posted a video documenting bringing her belongings to the new rental house.

Millie captioned the update: “I filmed this a couple of weeks ago while getting the house all set up and cosy before we moved in.

“Box after box, room after room, there’s something oddly satisfying about putting together flat pack furniture with your own two hands.

“Especially when you don’t even own a screwdriver.”

Continuing, the Made In Chelsea alum referenced the “new chapter” and “somehow finding a bit of strength” amid chaos.

Millie also thanked her friend Lucie Hirst for “holding her hand” throughout the process of finding a rental property.

One person commented: “Sending love. I’m sure it will feel like home in no time.”

Another wrote: “You got this and you dont have to heal on your own really. Just let the light shine through you.”

While a third penned: “I’m about to do the exact same thing with my two little girls.

“I’ve healed alone and sat in my grief not filled the void. It takes a lot of strength.”

An insider told the Daily Mail at the time of the split: “They have known each other for many years, and in recent weeks, have had serious conversations about their future, ultimately deciding it’s better for them both to part ways.

“Their main priority remains their children and family life, and separating is not something they ever hoped would happen.”

Both Millie and Hugo were original cast members on Made In Chelsea when the show launched in 2011.

Millie left the programme in 2013, while Hugo departed from the show one year earlier.

Naga Munchetty ‘missing’ from BBC Breakfast days after shock exit announcement

Following the news of her surprise exit, BBC Breakfast star Naga Munchetty was missing from her usual presenting slot on Saturday morning.

BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty was noticeably absent during the latest episode of the popular news show.

The 51-year-old normally co-hosts the morning programme alongside Charlie Stayt from Thursday to Saturday and appeared on the show on Friday (July 31st). But on August 1st, BBC Breakfast underwent a presenter shake-up as Naga was replaced by journalist Emma Vardy.

The BBC did not provide any updates or comments regarding Naga’s absence from the famous red sofa. But her leave comes after it was announced that Naga is set to step down from BBC Breakfast after 17 years to take on a new role as co-presenter of BBC Radio 5 Live’s breakfast programme.

Her move follows the announcement by current hosts Rachel Burden and Rick Edwards, who revealed during Tuesday’s broadcast that they will leave the breakfast show in December.

Munchetty, who has hosted Radio 5 Live’s weekday mid-morning programme since 2021, will join the station’s flagship breakfast slot alongside a new co-host, who is yet to be appointed, the BBC confirmed.

Earlier this week, Naga shared the news on her Instagram, reposting the statement from the official BBC 5 Live account and the clip of Rachel and Rick announcing their departure.

The caption read: “5 Live Breakfast hosts, Rachel Burden and Rick Edwards, announced this morning that they will step down in December.

“Naga Munchetty will become the new co-presenter of 5 Live Breakfast, taking the helm of the station’s flagship morning programme five days a week from January 2027.

“As part of the changes, Rachel Burden will move to present the weekday mid-morning programme, Monday to Wednesday 11-2pm, following 15 years on the station’s Breakfast show.”

Opening up on her new role, Naga said in a statement: “I’m thrilled to be joining 5 Live Breakfast in January. Live news, great conversations and connecting with audiences are what I love most about broadcasting, and 5 Live does all of that brilliantly.

“It has been a privilege to be part of the BBC Breakfast TV team for the past 17 years, working alongside an incredibly talented and hard-working group of journalists who are not only outstanding colleagues but also great friends.

“Presenting a flagship programme on 5 Live is an opportunity that was simply too good to pass up. It will take a huge amount of work and require 100% of my focus and energy, and I’m really looking forward to throwing myself into the role.”

The star also mentioned that she will continue to present both BBC Breakfast and Radio 5 Live from now until January.

BBC Breakfast airs Mondays-Sundays from 6am on BBC One.

Black Sabbath legend Tony Iommi tells of ‘shock’ at Ozzy Osbourne’s death as he reveals first solo album in 20 years

BLACK Sabbath’s Tony Iommi last released a solo album more than two decades ago.

And now, as he finally announces a new record, From The Dark, he reckons it might take just as long to get presented with his MBE.

The legendary axeman was in the Actress & Bishop boozer in his native Birmingham to celebrate the album’s release when asked when he’d be going to Buckingham Palace.

Tony was made an MBE in the King’s birthday honours last month, for his services to music and charity. But he joked: “I’d forgotten about that. They have probably changed their minds now.”

From The Dark, out on October 23, is Tony’s first album since 2005’s Fused, when he teamed with former Deep Purple, Sabbath and Trapeze singer and bassist Glenn Hughes.

Queen’s Brian May plays a guest solo on Death Wake, and the blistering lead single, the upbeat but punchy World Alone, confirms why he earned the nickname The Master Of The Riffs.

‘ALARMS GOING OFF’

Jared Leto forced me to touch him after luring me to motel when I was 17

SHEER DELIGHT

Bianca Censori stuns in almost invisible sheer bodysuit to party in Ibiza

That moniker’s all the more impressive when Tony reminds us that he lost the tips of the middle and ring fingers of his fret hand as a teen, while working in a sheet metal factory in the city.

He recalled: “I went to different doctors and they said, ‘You might as well give up and find another profession’.”

So he made replacement fingertips. He said: “I got a Fairy Liquid bottle, melted it down into a ball and then got a soldering iron and made a hole in it, so it fit on my finger.

“I tried to play and it slipped off. I had to find a material that would grip the strings like skin, so I cut one of my old rocker leather jackets up, and it worked.”

Iommi fans are in for a treat with From The Dark — which has eight tracks, with two additional songs, Scent Of Dark and Deified on the deluxe version.

It was two years in the making, with Tony enlisting Jorn Lande on vocals, bassist Becky Baldwin and Robbie Williams’ longtime drummer Karl Brazil.

The process was slowed by the loss of Tony’s Black Sabbath bandmate Ozzy Osbourne last July, with Tony stepping back from recording for a while.

The pair exchanged text messages the night before Ozzy died. He said: “I didn’t expect him to go overnight. It was a hell of a shock.”

On returning to work on the record, Tony added: “We’ve done it casually really, because there was no pressure.

The album is steeped in his home city’s history. He said: “The whole record is designed around Birmingham. The T-shirts have been made in Birmingham, the merchandise has been made in Birmingham.”

In front of a small group of guests, with Frank Skinner taking on the interviewing duties, Tony unveiled the dystopian video for World Alone, which was filmed in Cornwall.

“I hate doing videos, I’ve never liked them,” he said.

“This one is more like a film and I am in it but not wanting to be.”

Despite his reticence at getting in front of the cameras, it sounds likely Tony will return to the stage.

Asked whether fans will hear him play the record live, he smiled and said: “You may do.

“Anything’s a possibility.”

MARS FINAL AT WEMBLEY

BRUNO MARS brought the curtain down on his six huge Wembley Stadium shows with a low-key bash at a Mayfair private members’ club.

My moles tell me the singer hosted the do at George on Mount Street, arriving with his entourage at 1am.

A source said: “Bruno shut down an area inside George to celebrate his six Wembley gigs.

“He only invited a handful of people to join him and kept it very casual and chic. There was a great atmosphere though, and Bruno was the life and soul of the party.

“He was blown away by the reception to his Romantic Tour from British fans and was grinning from ear to ear.

“It’s been huge for him to play six headline shows there and he’s ready for a break before he heads back out in the US.”

It’s little wonder Bruno is ready for some time off.

He’s been on tour for four months now and, after three weeks away, he’ll get back to it with dates in the US and Asia, eventually finishing in Japan on January 28.

Tate shapes up for comeback

Tate McRae stuns in a workout gear for an Adidas Originals Sport campaign Credit: Adidas

TATE McRAE gets fighting fit for her comeback as she prepares to release new music.

The Canadian pulled on her skintight workout clobber and pumped iron for an Adidas Originals Sport campaign.

It comes ahead of a return to the stage this weekend, almost nine months after her last concert.

Tate will headline the Osheaga Festival in Montreal on Saturday, and Lollapalooza in Chicago the following night, as teasers on social media suggest she might debut new songs.

Previous album So Close To What became her most successful yet when it peaked at No2 in the charts last year.

But with her star power continuing to rise, I’m sure she’s got her sights set on turning the next record into a chart-topper.

BTS SNUB GRAMMYS IN PROTEST

K-POP megastars BTS are boycotting the Grammy Awards after an Asian-only category was introduced.

The group won’t submit any of their music to be considered for any awards at the 2027 ceremony, in protest over the change.

In a statement, they said: “We have decided not to enter the Grammys this year.

“I hope that music can be heard and loved for what it is, rather than being divided by region or language.”

The Grammys last month announced the Best Asian Pop Music Performance award, where songs must contain “meaningful use” of an Asian language.

But many have criticised the move, saying it pigeon-holes artists from that region.

BTS, whose latest album Arirang is largely in English, had been expected to rack up several nominations after it became one of 2025’s best sellers.

It’s Olivia RodLego

Olivia Rodrigo holds her album cover in Lego form Credit: The LEGO Group/Hunter Simmons

OLIVIA RODRIGO has recreated her latest album cover in Lego form – and will hide versions of the record around the world.

She posed in this plaid mini-dress at a pop-up event in Los Angeles, where it was revealed 333 toy-brick vinyl versions of You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love will be available.

The album is in the UK Top Three for a sixth week.

Olivia and Lego will drop clues on social media, hinting at record shops where fans might be able to get the special versions.

I expect to see them popping up on eBay for astronomical sums any day now.

SHANIA’S LACK OF VISION

IT doesn’t sound like Shania Twain is very likely to compete at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2027.

Her native Canada will be joining for the first time. But asked if she’d be tempted to give it a go, she said: “It hasn’t entered my mind. It’s a fair question, though. I don’t know what my pull would be for that, but I would certainly be curious to see how that comes together. There is a lot of talent there.”

The contest will take place in Bulgaria.

But Shania has enough on her plate, having released album Little Miss Twain, which looks like entering the Top Five on Friday.

She’s also planning 30th-anniversary celebrations for her album Come On Over.

Ruben’s hol alone

Ruben Dias showed off his incredible physique in some Insta thirst traps Credit: instagram//ruben dias

RUBEN Dias has made sure everyone knows he’s one of football’s most eligible bachelors, following his split from Maya Jama.

The Manchester City defender broke up with the Love Island host at the end of April.

Three months on, and following his appearance at this summer’s World Cup with Portugal, he has jetted off on a lads’ holiday to Ibiza.

Judging by the photos of his rippling six-pack he shared on Instagram, Ruben got his mates to take thirst trap pictures for him while they were there.

But hinting that he’s still not totally over the split with Maya, he captioned the post: “Feelings on silent.”

With pictures like this, there will be plenty of people offering him a shoulder to cry on.

MACCABEES ALBUM

THE Maccabees are working on their first album since 2015, after reuniting last year.

They have been playing fresh tunes during live shows.

Asked if an album was any closer, singer Orlando Weeks told Radio X: “We have some songs, and we have one we’re really confident about and we’re enjoying playing.

“That’s the aim – to try and do it, make it good enough, and then it’ll happen.”

lMILEY CYRUS’ rocker fiancé Maxx Morando popped the question on holiday in Japan last autumn.

He told Wonderland mag it happened in “this little outer garden”.

Maxx added: “She was taking videos, and was turned away. I got on one knee and tapped her on the shoulder.”

Is the world at risk of another energy shock? | US-Israel war on Iran

Disruptions across Strait of Hormuz, Bab al-Mandeb and the Black Sea threaten supplies and raise costs for consumers.

Shipping through the Strait of Hormuz remains in effect halted.
Tankers are now avoiding another critical waterway – Bab al-Mandeb – as Yemen’s Houthi forces threaten Saudi-linked vessels. Ukrainian strikes have hit Russian export infrastructure.
Three major routes are now disrupted at once: the Gulf, the Red Sea and the Black Sea.

Together, they threaten trade flows equivalent to nearly a quarter of global oil supplies just as reserves sit at multiyear lows.
Goldman Sachs says oil could rise above $120 a barrel by the fourth quarter if disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz alone persist.
Economies worldwide are bracing for another energy shock.

Jared Leto breaks silence on shock sexual criminal conduct claims from four women including one who was ‘raped by star’

2014 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Hosted By Graydon Carter - Arrivals

JARED Leto has broken his silence on allegations of criminal sexual conduct, calling them “categorically false”.

Four women including accused the Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman of criminal sexual conduct, with one alleging he raped her as a teenager.

He said: “I have never sexually assaulted anyone in my entire life. These claims are absolutely and categorically false.”

The allegations against the Oscar winner, 54, date from when the women were aged between 16 and 19.

One accuser alleges she had sex with Leto when she was 17, which under Californian laws would be classed as statutory rape.

The Hollywood star, aged 34 at the time, invited the woman and a friend to his Californian home, the alleged accuser told the BBC.

She claims Leto told her friend to wait in a separate room as the alleged rape took place.

A second woman claims she was sexually assaulted in a “dingy” Las Vegas motel bathroom when she was 17.

Leto, who was in his early 30s at the time, allegedly invited the girl into the bathroom as he showered and made her touch him inappropriately.

A third claims the Dallas Buyers Club star threatened her with sexual assault when she was 19 after the pair were left alone in a hotel room.

The allegations came after a Thirty Seconds to Mars concert at London’s O2 Arena in 2013 when Leto would have been 41.

A fourth accused Leto of grooming her and alleges he once took advantage of his celebrity status by making repeated sexually explicit phone calls to her when she was 16.

He suggested they should have sex on at least one occasion, the alleged victim claims.

The accusations all come from a new BBC documentary titled Jared Leto: Hollywood‘s Dark Secret.

The BBC claims they have seen at least one non-disclosure agreement (NDA) sent to a woman aimed at preventing her from talking about her relationship with Leto.

Another woman also accuses the Morbius lead of ordering a security guard to take her backstage at a music festival when she was 14.

Emmerdale’s Gabby collapses in shock scenes as controversial ‘issue’ plot kicks off

Emmerdale viewers were quick to react when Gabby Thomas collapsed on Sunday night’s episode, signalling the start of yet another issue-based plot on the ITV soap

Gabby Thomas collapsed on Sunday night’s episode of Emmerdale, prompting the start of another issue-based storyline on the ITV soap.

The waitress, who has been played by Rosie Bentham since 2016, has become obsessed with the quality of food and been seen to be anti-medicine in recent weeks.

On the latest episode of the Yorkshire-based serial, Gabby was listening to social media videos claiming that certain healthy foods were the opposite, a horrified Dawn found her collapsed on the floor. A visit to the doctor ruled out a pregnancy, and she also explained to Manpreet just how little she was eating.

Later on, she told Dawn had stopped taking the pill, claiming that most medicines were ” packed full of chemicals” that she believes are harmful to the human body, so Dawn raised the alarm with her partner Billy. When Gabby found this out, she raged at Dawn: “How dare you! Billy’s told me you were practically wetting yourself to tell him that I’m not on the pill any more.

“You just can’t handle the fact that you’re not the centre of his world any more,” but Dawn ignored the insult and told Gabby that she was just very worried about her. Still furious, Gabby took it upon herself to visit Dawn’s fiance Joe and claim that his partner “still has a thing” for Billy.

She told him: “She’s having secret meetings with Billy behind my back.Trying to stir the pot, get in between us. And I have to say to myself, why on earth would she want to do that? So I really think you should probably ask yourself the same question.”

All of this is part of a brand new issue-based storyline exploring the topic of orthorexia, an eating disorder which embeds itself when an individual which becomes fixated on the quality of the food they consume rather than the quantity.

Reacting to the new episode, fans flooded social media and appeared to be divided on the latest storyline. One fan wrote on Reddit: “Orthorexia is a serious illness and while I do support them raising awareness about it, they’re again not doing an issue-based plot justice.

“They’re again making the central character in the storyline (in this case Gabby) come off as too unlikable and unsympathetic just like Cain in the prostate cancer storyline. I can guarantee you viewers came out of today’s episode siding with Dawn and not feeling bad for Gabby. I certainly did.”

Another said: “Gabby has ‘Orthorexia’….nope Id never heard of it either,” and a third said: “I’m loving this feud again build up between gabby and dawn.”

A fourth wrote: “I take issue with issue based stories that make characters deeply unlikeable. I ended up being Team Dawn today.

“I think Thomas will be the one who ends up seriously sick either not taking medicine for a sickness or the food will give him deficiencies. I can’t stand Gabby in this, she is being written to be deeply unlikeable when the story should be more effective.”

If you’re worried about your health or the health of somebody else, you can contact SEED eating disorder support service on 01482 718130 or on their website, here.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Coronation Street fans predict shock return for Gail Platt amid murder plot

Coronation Street fans have wondered why Gail Platt has not been mentioned whilst her daughter Sarah has been charged with murder and issued a plea for her to return

Coronation Street fans have wondered if Gail Platt could be about to make a comeback to the ITV soap. The legendary character was played by Helen Worth for 50 years and, during that time, she was known for several ill-fated marriages and raising her children Nick, Sarah (Tina O’Brien) and David.

The former GP receptionist and café waitress, who was also known for her long-running feud with fellow legend Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) finally found the one in Jesse Chadwick and they departed for a quiet life in the France after tying the knot on Christmas Day 2024.

There has been no shortage of drama for the remaining members of the Platt family since her departure and, most recently, Gail’s middle child Sarah has been charged with the murder of Theo Silverton, after hitting the abusive scaffolder over the head with a pipe.

On Wednesday’s episode of the world’s longest-running TV soap, Maria Connor was once again trying to get details out of her husband Gary Windass (Mikey North) about that fateful night, aware that he had something to do with it. Viewers will remember that Sarah roped Gary into the whole thing because she felt unable to alert her current partner, DC Kit Green, because of what it might mean for his career.

He said: “She needed an alibi, so I sent a text from Theo’s phone. Does it really matter now, babe? And then I got rid of the murder weapon.” At this point, Maria well and truly lost it and exclaimed: “She has made you an accessory to murder! You came to her rescue? Well it didn’t work, did it? She’s been arrested!”

Whilst enjoying dinner at the bistro with his family, Gary was spotted by his nemesis Kit, who is determined to do whatever it can to get Sarah off the hook – even though he knows that she is guilty. Storming out of the restaurant, Kit raged at Gary: “She’s in a cell while you’re playing happy families. Fact is, you’re free. You don’t have to do a long prison stretch. You get to see your kid grow up. What is it with you? Did you just feel flattered?” Just as Kit began to issue a threat, Maria waltzed out of the bistro herself and Kit warned him: “One day, your luck is gonna run out.”

But one thing that was bothering fans throughout it all is that Sarah’s mother seems yet to be informed of her latest ordeal. Viewers flooded social media wondering why Gail, who last appeared via a video call last Christmas, doesn’t seem to have been contacted. One fan said: “Has anyone told Gail about Sarah? Trying to imagine next time she phones, if David answers. “Oh hi, Gail. Everything ok here. Oh yeah, Sarah’s in prison for murder, but y’know…”

One fan wrote on Reddit: “Now that Sarah has been charged with murder , I can’t help but wonder why no one has mentioned Gail? It’s one thing not informing her of run-of-the-mill dramas but she deserves to know that her daughter is about to go to prison

“This is where things fall down, once someone leaves that single backstreet, they are never spoken of again. Even if Helen Worth did a quick return via a video call, or, at the very least, Sarah or David was seen on the phone to her. It just kind of makes no sense otherwise. Maybe she’d just say “Not my problem now, au revoir!” and hang up.”

In response, another said: “I assume that what we see are only snippets of their life on the show and the characters we don’t see are living their lives between dramatic plot lines in the background. Therefore, I assume that Sarah talks to Gail, Kevin talks to Rosie and Sophie, Rita talks to Jenny, etc, we just don’t see it or hear about it.” Fans were also quick to issue a demand for an appearance from Sarah’s grandmother Audrey, who has not been on screen since November last year but has not been written out. Taking to X, one fan said: “Has Gail or Audrey been informed about Sarah? Hopefully there’s a mention of them soon.”

Another said: “Surely now Sarah’s incarnated (sic) warrants either a visit from Gail or brings Audrey home. The family need them.” Prior to joining the soap in July 1974, Helen had acted in Z-Cars, and appeared in the movie musical Oliver! before making an appearance in Doctor Who.

Helen’s only other role after joining Coronation Street came in 1981 when she voiced the part of cat Molly Silknose in Peter-No-Tail, and she appeared as Gail in a charity crossover with EastEnders for Children in Need in 2010.

Gail had been married six times, with one of her husbands being tragically stabbed to death and another was a serial killer. Other storylines include Sarah’s teenage pregnancy, and the death of her fourth husband Joe McIntyre, who died during a failed life insurance scheme.

Opening up on her time on the show and reason for leaving, Helen made a rare public appearance at the Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester earlier this year. She said: “It was only a bit towards the end when I got a bit tired. But the first, how many years? 49 years, were a dream.”

“My final husband, John Thomson, was absolutely gorgeous to me, because by then I was rattling a bit. It was around about 4,000 episodes and I was rattling a little bit. I had good and bad days… but then you forget the bad days and you just remember the good days.”

Coronation Street airs weeknights at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITV X.

World Matchplay Darts 2026: Luke Humphries suffers shock first-round loss to Cameron Menzies

World number two Luke Humphries is out of the World Matchplay after a shock first-round loss to Scotland’s Cameron Menzies.

The former world champion was punished for some poor finishing and lost his first six legs with the darts before finally holding throw.

Humphries threatened to stage a dramatic comeback, winning four legs on the spin to get back to 8-7 but Menzies sealed a stunning 10-7 victory in style by reeling in the ‘big fish’ – a maximum 170 checkout.

The result will come as a huge disappointment to Humphries after he had shown signs of returning to top form – beating Luke Littler to win the US Darts Masters in June – in the past couple of months after a slow start to the year.

But for Menzies, ranked 27th in the world, it is a momentous victory and one he says he “will take to his grave” as he becomes just the second unseeded player to advance at this year’s tournament.

The Scot will now face 15th seed Ross Smith in the second round on Wednesday after the Englishman’s 10-6 win over Netherlands’ Kevin Doets.

Both players averaged over 100 and managed over 50% on the doubles in a high-quality match but Smith hit when it mattered most to progress.

Meanwhile, Gerwyn Price survived a scare before overcoming Germany’s Martin Schindler 11-9.

The Welshman admitted it was “probably one I should’ve lost” after falling 4-0 and 6-2 behind.

Even after fighting back to take his first lead at 9-8, Price was made to work to finish it off as Schindler hit a 121 checkout to break back before the seventh seed eventually sealed the win in the 20th leg.

From Hollywood flops & pop star feuds to naked guitar playing & shock divorce… where are the cast of T4 now?

Collage of three images: the main image shows a Black woman and a white man sitting on a red couch. The top left image shows five young adults posing for a photo. The top right image shows a white man grimacing while a Black woman holds a mallet over a stereo.

IT WAS must-see viewing for Britain’s teenagers slumped on the sofa on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The cool young cast of T4 delivered zany segments and upbeat links between popular programmes including Hollyoaks and Shipwrecked.

And now as a former teen telly icon is given a peer by Keir Starmer we reveal where some of the other popular TV presenters are now.

SHE was a working class immigrant kid who grew up on a council estate but now TV star June Sarpong is taking a seat in the House of Lords.

The proud honour marks a meteoric rise for June, 49, who first appeared on our screens as a host of MTV before joining the iconic Noughties show T4 way back in 2000.

She was awarded an MBE for services to broadcasting and has made a name for herself as a high profile equality campaigner.

As she celebrated the political honour yesterday, June said: “Words cannot even begin to describe how truly honoured and humbled I feel to have been appointed to the House of Lords by Keir Starmer on his final Honours list.

As a working class immigrant kid from a council estate in East London it is not lost on me what this means.

As I embark on this next chapter, I look forward to being able to use this role to further champion the causes and issues that are dear to my heart.”

But June is not the only former member of the T4 gang who has gone on to bigger and better things.

It was a hugely successful launchpad for many of the most familiar faces on TV today.

Before that he had been a DJ on Radio Essex but Dermot, now 53, proved  such a success with the viewers that Channel 4 swiftly selected him to front spin off show Big Brother’s Little Brother until 2008.

He has since landed a string of high profile presenting gigs including The X-Factor which he hosted for 11 years.

Now Dermot has a Radio 2 show and fronts This Morning on Fridays, as well as publishing a string of hugely successful children’s books about Toto The Ninja Cat.

She was a DJ at Birmingham based radio station BRMB when she took part in a radio contest and moved to Capital Radio.

From there Margherita landed a spot on T4’s starting line-up alongside Dermot and Vernon Kay and never looked back.

Margherita, 53, went on to present BBC One’s Escape to the Country between 2016 and 2022.

Now she is a familiar guest presenter on  Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, Countryfile and This Morning, but her first love was always radio and she still hosts shows on Smooth Radio and Classic FM.

Ben Shephard (1999-2000)

Ben, 51, was a regular host of Channel 4’s spin-off morning show The Bigger Breakfast when bosses decided to put him on T4.

Just two years later he joined ITV’s GMTV as an entertainment host, then as a main presenter in 2005.

He quit the show in 2010, weeks before it was axed anyway, but returned to ITV in 2014 to front the newly-launched Good Morning Britain, where he remains as one of the country’s most recognisable presenters.

Now the much loved millionaire dad of two is rarely off the box, having swapped his seat at the Good Morning Britain newsdesk for the sofa at This Morning alongside Cat Deeley.

Ben has also hosted hit gameshows including The Summit, Tipping Point and Ninja Warrior UK.

Hunky Bolton lad Vern was working as a model when he was scouted by TV bosses to front T4 and soared to stardom.

After quitting the show All Star Family Fortunes made him a household name.

His 23 year marriage to Strictly’s Tess Daly has crumbled but this week he was named as one of the BBC’s best paid presenters, raking in a staggering £450,000 a year for his Radio 2 mid-morning show, Alternative Dance Sounds of the 90s and other appearances.

Welsh lad Steve, 49, – who stripped off several times on the show, was one of T4’s best loved presenters when Simon Cowell chose him to present the American version of The X Factor.

But the show bombed and Steve was axed after just one series.

The former model went on to present a property show called Perfect House, Secret Location and appeared on This Morning before landing a full time gig in 2016 to lead the presenting team for Channel 4’s F1 coverage.

Miquita Oliver (2006-2010)

While most of the original T4 crew were newbies, Miquita already had five years of telly experience under her belt having fronted Popworld with Simon Amstell.

But she was suspended from T4 in 2010 after being overheard insulting singer Kesha.

She has also claimed she lost a job on Radio 1 for “saying silly things”.

Since then fashion favourite Miquita, 42, has been on a string of TV programmes, including Celebrity Gogglebox alongside her mum Andi, and has a hit podcast with her pal Lily Allen.

Rick, 47, was performing stand-up comedy at Cambridge University when he was spotted by T4 producers who gave him his first TV job.

Since then he went on to land a string of presenting gigs including Tool Academy, Made in Chelsea, Freshly Squeezed, E4 Music, and much of Channel 4‘s 2012 Paralympics coverage.

Rick has also hosted a BBC One quiz show called !mpossible and now he can be heard on BBC Radio 5 Live’s Breakfast Show every morning, as well as Fighting Talk on Saturdays and their Premier League review on Sundays.

Fashion icon Alexa, 42, began working as a model after she was scouted at the Reading Festival at the age of 16. She joined Popworld alongside Alex Zane in 2006 before joining T4 two years later.

She famously inspired the Alexa handbag by British designer Mulberry, and has dated big names like Arctic Monkey’s Alex Turner and actor Alexander Skarsgard.

She pivoted back to style and lifestyle content on TV for shows like Gok’s Fashion Fix, Next In Fashion and now runs her own lucrative fashion label.

London born Actress and activist Jameela, 40, was working as a school teacher when she was scouted by a TV producer in a bar.

She followed Alexa on to music show Freshly Squeezed alongside Nick Grimshaw and became a DJ on Radio 1 and the event circuit – with her first show being at Elton John’s birthday party.

In 2016 she moved to LA to become a screenwriter but ended up landing a role in American hit comedy The Good Place as Tahani Al-Jamil.

She’s also become an outspoken campaigner for equality and is dating pop star James Blake.

Nick Grimshaw (2010-2012)

Grimmy started out in student radio before landing a job on Radio 1’s Switch youth programme in 2007.

His career really kicked off the following year when he landed the station’s weekend breakfast show, before moving to a late-night presenting slot.

In 2010, Nick, 41, added T4 to his roster, fronting it until he was promoted to the Beeb’s breakfast show, replacing Chris Moyles.

On TV he’s been a judge on The X Factor, filmed cameos for soaps including EastEnders, Coronation Street and Emmerdale and has also starred on Celebrity Gogglebox.

Now he hosts BBC Radio 6 Music’s flagship breakfast show, Sidetracked with Annie Mac and foodie podcast Dish.

Love Island fans ‘heartbroken’ for Ellie Chadwick after shock comment ahead of exit

Love Island fans were left “heartbroken” for Ellie Chadwick after it was reported that she had quit the series for good after a tumutlous romance with Finley Maddock

Love Island fans were left “heartbroken” for Ellie Chadwick after it was reported that she had quit the series for good and the reason why appeared to emerge during the latest episode.

The real estate videographer, 24, had been taking part in the hit ITV2 reality dating series and was enjoying a blossoming romance with Finley Maddock, but it all started to go wrong when he fell for a bombshell who entered the villa.

During Tuesday night’s episode of the series, Maya Jama told the Islanders they were to play a brand-new game called If You Know, You Know, in which the contestants had to wear blindfolds and headphones.

When their phone vibrated, each couple had to make their way to a podium to read out a controversial statement and then guess who it was who said it in the first place.

One couple read out the claim that “One half of this couple is secretly bored but too polite to admit it” and it was then that Finley said he was “a bit bored.”

The dramatic scenes aired shortly after it was reported that Ellie had walked out of the villa for good, and shocked fans instantly took to social media to predict it was the catalyst.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan said: “Finley has said he is bored of Ellie ??” and another said: “I don’t want to believe Ellie self-evicted for a man who literally said he got bored of her.”

Another said: “Omg Finley said that and they were all in ears to take Ellie back woow see how they are all in each other’s business but will be coming for Julia!”

Another wrote: “Oh was that boring comment to do with why Ellie left?” and a fifth said: “Finley said he’s bored with Ellie! That boy just keeps humiliating her!” On Facebook, one fan explained: “The received a statement that said this couple is one sided and one person is bored, which Finley had said to Kav in private apparently and it never came out, Ellie was clearly upset.”

Another replied: “OMG that heartbreaking for Ellie” and left a sad face emoji to emphasise how they felt. Just before the episode aired, it was reported that Ellie chose to quit the programme altogether, reportedly stemming from hearing the results of a viewer poll for favourite boy and favourite girl, even though she was not dumped by the public.

A source said: “Viewers have seen Ellie threatening to leave across recent episodes, so the news of her now quitting won’t feel like a surprise.

“But in real time, her and Fin reconnected at the recoupling a few days ago so her decision to now leave is a shock. Viewers will see the dramatic action play out in an episode soon.”

The reality star had threatened to quit before, when it looked like Finley had begun to take an interest in Elicia Bailey. In Tuesday night’s episode, she was apparently back together with him, but that was all filmed days ago, and now Ellie has actually left.

Speaking to The Sun, the source added: “The whole fallout of the vote was electric and is going to make for amazing TV. Everyone was devastated that Ellie left, and viewers will definitely be left scratching their heads.”

How Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce became most toxic Hollywood split EVER with shock new twist after 10 years

ONCE the golden couple of Hollywood, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s multi- million-pound divorce battle rumbled on longer than they were man and wife.

And ten years since proceedings first started, the bitterness between those involved shows no sign of slowing down.

Brad, 62, watched in horror this week as the final steps were taken to remove any trace of him from the once-glorified “Brangelina” clan.

In a brutal move, his children Maddox, 24, and Zahara, 21, have both filed court papers to officially change their surname from Jolie-Pitt to just Jolie.

Siblings Shiloh, 20, and Vivienne, 18, have already turned their backs on the Pitt name, while Knox, 18, has also dropped it from informal documents and is estranged from Brad.

This leaves only Pax, 23, still using the Pitt surname.

Insiders say that Brad has been left privately “devastated” by the decision.

A source said: “One by one, his children, who he was once so close to, have removed their connection to him.

“He really wonders if he’ll ever rebuild bridges with his shattered brood now.”

It is the latest twist in the family saga, following on from allegations of physical abuse, financial coercion and severe family PTSD as well as a Father’s Day Instagram post from Pax calling Brad a “world-class a**hole”.

It all helps cement Brad and Angelina’s divorce as perhaps the most toxic the entertainment world has ever seen.

In September, it will have been a decade since Maleficent star Angelina, 51, first filed for divorce from movie heart-throb Brad.

Their relationship started not long after they met on the set of 2005 film Mr & Mrs Smith, when Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston.

They wed in 2014 but, less than two years later, in September 2016, they split in explosive fashion. The former couple had previously adopted Maddox, Zahara and Pax before having Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox.

But Brad, who was once inseparable from all six kids, has now been well and truly frozen out.

Legal notices published in the Los Angeles Daily Journal yesterday reveal that both Maddox and Zahara have filed petitions to change their surnames.

If approved, the changes will become official in court, with Maddox’s hearing set for September 14 and Zahara’s two weeks later.

Zahara has publicly gone by Zahara Jolie since starting university.

Shiloh legally dropped “Pitt” after turning 18 in 2024, while Vivienne was credited simply as “Vivienne Jolie” as a production assistant for the Broadway show The Outsiders.

Pax is the only one still using the Pitt surname, but he has an incredibly difficult relationship with his dad, who he once claimed made his younger siblings “tremble in fear”.

Brad’s relationship with his children seemed to change for ever after an ill-fated flight in 2016, which also marked the end of the high-profile showbiz marriage.

The couple are said to have tried to keep their blistering rows from the children, but that became impossible in the confines of a private jet.

In a report filed by the FBI about the incident, Angelina claimed Brad yelled at her before pulling her into the toilet, where he pushed her against the wall and punched the ceiling repeatedly.

It is also alleged that when one of their kids tried to protect their mum, Brad “choked one of the children and struck another in the face”.

It has long been rumoured that it was Maddox who was assaulted.

The report said Brad then poured beer on his family as they tried to sleep.

The incident led to an investigation by children’s services, with Angelina being awarded temporary full custody and Brad only allowed supervised visits. He was later fully cleared.

Just days later, Angelina filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.

Pax’s private Instagram post on Father’s Day 2020 suggests the kids experienced problems before and after the plane incident.

He wrote: “You time and time again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person.

“You have no consideration or empathy toward your four youngest children, who tremble in fear when in your presence.

“You will never understand the damage you have done to my family because you’re incapable of doing so.”

Brad later confirmed that his boozing had become a problem, revealing he had visited Alcoholics Anonymous groups.

He said: “I had taken things as far as I could take it, so I removed my drinking privileges.

“You had all these men sitting around being open and honest in a way I have never heard.

“It was this safe space where there was little judgment, and therefore little judgment of yourself. It was actually really freeing just to expose the ugly sides of yourself.

“There’s great value in that.”

The confession did nothing to quell the animosity between the parties, though.

And while the divorce might have been finalised in 2024 — after eight agonising years — another legal fight is still rumbling on.

The former lovers are locked in an acrimonious $350million court battle, known as the War Of The Rosés, over Angelina’s decision to secretly sell her stake in their Chateau Miraval vineyard and home for $64million to Russian booze tycoon Yuri Shefler in 2021.

Brad then sued her in a bid to void the sale.

The couple bought the 1,300-acre Miraval estate in Provence, southern France, in 2008 and married there in 2014.

Angelina claims she originally wanted to sell her stake to Brad, but he demanded she sign an $8.5million non-disclosure agreement as part of the deal.

Her legal team argued it was a coercive tactic to prevent her talking about his alleged abuse.

A trial has been scheduled for February 1 next year.

Insiders have claimed that Brad’s partner of four years, Ines de Ramon, 33, has tried to persuade him to end the hostilities.

A source said: “Ines wants to have a life together — with possibly children in the future — without the albatross that is the eight-year War Of The Rosés.”

While Angelina’s attorneys have filed explosive allegations in court, she has kept a mostly dignified silence.

In 2020, the actress turned human rights advocate addressed the ugly split in a rare interview with Vogue.

She said: “I separated for the wellbeing of my family. It was the right decision.

“I continue to focus on their healing.”

During another interview, when asked if she worried about the safety of her children, she said: “Yes, for my family. My whole family.”

And during the Press tour for her 2021 Marvel film Eternals, in which she played Thena, a warrior battling memory loss and a fantasy-world version of PTSD, she revealed that she had been diagnosed with the condition.

She said: “I had talked to the director about experiencing PTSD myself a few years ago and my own fears about not being strong enough to protect those that I love.”

And while Brad might have moved on, Angelina, who was widely once considered one of the world’s most beautiful women, remains single.

Last month, she said: “To be candid, I haven’t dated since I divorced a decade ago.

“So I kind of get in my head that that aspect of me is not centered in my life if I’m focusing on my children, my family.”

It is true that all six children have certainly been caught up in the crossfire of their parents’ decade-long war, with the sorry saga serving as a cautionary tale to other Hollywood couples on the cusp of divorce.

Now, as the February 2027 trial over the battle for the French vineyard looms, peace still seems a long way off.

And while Brad might still be fighting over his financial future, his legacy with his family appears to be long gone.

Wimbledon 2026: Jannik Sinner recovers from shock French Open loss to win second SW19 title

One month after the world number one suffered a seismic shock at the French Open, another upset was brewing.

Confronted with unwanted history, Sinner would have to come from behind to beat Miomir Kecmanovic in five sets and avoid becoming only the third defending Wimbledon men’s champion to lose in the first round.

The 24-year-old’s durability in marathon encounters has long been a concern, with Sinner having lost eight of his previous nine matches that went the distance.

There had also been a shattering event in Paris for the second year in a row.

Sinner arrived at Wimbledon having not competed since his extraordinary collapse in the French Open second round, when he lost to Argentine Juan Manuel Cerundolo from two sets and 5-1 up.

He had recovered from a far greater catastrophe to triumph at the All England Club in 2025, taking revenge on rival Carlos Alcaraz just 35 days after losing their epic Roland Garros final from two sets and three championship points up.

But now his physical resilience was under the spotlight – and the early signs at Wimbledon offered encouragement to those eyeing his throne.

Both junctures would have taken others months to recover from. For Sinner, they became catalysts for greater heights.

“This one means a lot because it was a tough one after Paris, again,” Sinner said.

“Last year was also tough. But coming here, I tried to put myself in the best position to be as competitive as possible.

“We put in a lot of long days, sacrificing a lot to be in this position.”

Love Island fans celebrate as original couple Lola and Sean ‘dump themselves’ in shock move

Love Island fans have taken to social media with celebratory posts as original couple Lola and Sean chose to self-dump after a public vote and a feud with Julia

Love Island fans have decided shared their shock after Lola and Sean, who have been together since the beginning, dumped themselves from the villa. Fans, who had been pushing for the couple to leave amid a feud with Julia, were excited to see them head out of the villa.

Taking to social media after the couple volunteered to leave, one fan said: “SEAN AND LOLA TAPPING OUT I DID NOT EXPECT THIS #loveisland #loveislanduk.”

“Wait they actually dumped Sean and Lola?? wtf oh my goddddd #loveislanduk,” said another.

Many felt that it was time for the couple to leave with one viewer sharing: “It was honestly their time to leave.” Others were a bit more ecstatic, with another saying: “War is over, Lola and Sean are gone.”

A third said they were “so happy” Lola had left the villa and hoped she would look back at her feud with Julia and how her behaviour, which included telling Julia to “be scared” to talk to her and refusing to join a peace chat amongst the girls, could be seen as “nasty”.

A fourth jokingly said “Pack those bags angel”, referring to the nickname Lola gave everyone. Meanwhile, several mentioned the England World Cup win from Saturday and implied Lola and Sean leaving was on the same level. “What a time to be British,” said one fan.

But some were on Lola and Sean’s side, respecting them for taking the decision to leave. As one fan said: “Fair play to Lola and Sean they weren’t actually playing a game and left. The other couples would NEVER.”

A second said that “no one deserves to be done dirty” the way Lola and Sean had been and that they hoped Lola really had found love, as she thought she had. A third said they respected the couple for leaving when the point was to get to the end as a couple and win the prize money.

The exit comes after a public vote. At the end of Friday’s episode, Julia and Lorenzo were voted the favourite couple. This came after several episodes of strife between Julia and Lola – Casa girl Julia had briefly hit it off with Sean, and when Lola found out she was livid.

Fans slammed Lola for her reaction to Julia, with many saying it was overly harsh and even Sean telling her not to be “petty” when she wanted to say Julia was only in the villa for “air time”.

So when a vote came up for fans to pick their favourite couple, they rallied behind Julia and voted her couple the best. The bottom three were Lola and Sean, Mica and Samraj and Martha and Jordan.

In Sunday’s episode, Julia and Lorenzo were told to pick a couple to send home, but before they could, Lola and Sean stepped forward to volunteer to go home. They said they’d found what they wanted and were happy to head home.

Lorenzo teared up as he agreed to send Lola and Sean home. Sean later said that it would’ve felt “selfish” for him and Lola to stay when they’d been together since the start and were already exclusive.

Emmerdale star’s shock after staggering loss on Antiques Road Trip ‘we were robbed’

Emmerdale stars Matthew Wolfenden and Roxy Shahidi suffered big losses on BBC’s Celebrity Antiques Road Trip

An Emmerdale icon suffered a massive financial loss during an episode of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, leaving their co-star thoroughly unimpressed.

In a repeated episode of the BBC programme, originally broadcast in 2024, Matthew Wolfenden and Roxy Shahidi searched the Yorkshire Dales for antique treasures with the assistance of experts Hettie Jago and Steven Moore, hoping to turn a profit.

After spending money on various items, the auction arrived – but things went disastrously wrong for both Matthew, who portrayed Davide Metcalfe on the soap, and Leyla Harding actress Roxy. Matthew’s vintage stereoscope was first, which he’d purchased for £20, but disappointingly fetched just £7.

Next came Roxy, hoping her Derbyshire pietra dura paperweight – bought for £15 – would command an impressive sum. “If this doesn’t make a profit we were robbed because that’s worth at least £100,” Roxy’s expert Steven declared.

Sadly it sold for merely £14. A devastated Stephen confessed: “I need therapy,” while Roxy watched in disbelief.

Matters deteriorated further for the soap pair when bidding commenced on Matthew’s Art Deco rouge pot, purchased for £90. The opening bid was £10, prompting Matthew to gasp “oh no,” before it eventually sold for a paltry £16, reports the Express.

Matthew’s astonished teammate Hettie was left open-mouthed, while a stunned Matthew exclaimed: “I’m gobsmacked!” Meanwhile, Roxy’s final item was a magic lantern, which they had splashed out a whopping £236 on. Sadly, it failed to generate the interest she had anticipated.

The lantern fetched a mere £30 at auction. Upon hearing the outcome, Matthew couldn’t resist a cheeky dig at his former soap co-star Roxy, chuckling away as Hettie told her: “I’m so sorry.”

When the auction wrapped up, the final tallies revealed who had come out on top financially. Roxy and Steven ended up making a loss of £284.38, meaning Matthew and Hettie were crowned the victors, having incurred a smaller loss of £225.46.

Afterwards, a triumphant Matthew teased Roxy: “Can you see the smile on my face?” Roxy replied: “Yeah I can see it.”

Matthew added: “Why’s that?” With gritted teeth Roxy said: “That’s because you won…” as Matthew erupted in celebration.

Celebrity Antiques Road Trip airs on BBC Two.

Shock Geordie Shore feud ERUPTS as Nathan Henry’s pals are ‘sickened’ by Scotty T’s rant after using co-star for ‘cash’

THEY survived Geordie Shore together for more than a decade, weathering explosive rows, chaotic nights out and everything that came with reality TV fame. When Nathan Henry first walked into the house in 2015 and bravely opened up about his sexuality, Scotty T was one of the first castmates to embrace him into the group.

Which is why friends tell The Sun they are “absolutely sickened” to see Scotty accused of turning on the very community he once publicly stood beside, leaving Nathan feeling “blindsided”.

Scotty’s posts about Pride sparked a fierce backlash online Credit: Supplied

Their friendship became one of the constants of the MTV series, surviving cast shake-ups, years away from the cameras and countless personal milestones.

But after more than a decade of standing side by side, those closest to Nathan say the pair’s bitter public clash is about far more than a handful of tweets – it’s watching someone he trusted seem to turn his back on the community Nathan has spent years proudly representing.

The fallout unravelled after Scotty, 37, posted a string of controversial messages about Pride celebrations in London that many accused of being openly homophobic, causing backlash online.

He wrote: “If you’re ever a parent – and you took your child to the Pride event in London… You should have your kids taken off you. Simple.”

He continued: “Forcing them to see some of the state I’ve seen, and the stands with merch about being horny and ‘f*** me’. What sort of disgusting animal even does that to their child.”

One source close to Nathan told The Sun: “We’re absolutely sickened that Scotty has lashed out at the gay community. They’ve been friends for so many years and gone through so much together. Referring to parents who bring their children to Pride events as ‘animals’ is heartbreaking.

“Nathan was blindsided given how supportive Scotty was to him in the past and it has really struck him.”

For Nathan the comments were deeply personal.

After all, this was the same Scotty who had stood beside him when he came out on Geordie Shore and built one of the show’s most genuine friendships.

Which is exactly why, pals say, Nathan decided he couldn’t let the comments pass without saying something publicly.

He wrote: “I think you should delete this… I don’t know if this is you or management but it stinks of hypocrisy just saying.”

Scotty replied that he loved Nathan “to bits” but doubled down on his position, insisting children should not be exposed to explicit displays at Pride events.

He later added: “Can us straight people have a month where we walk about with our cock and balls out?”

And in another post wrote: “Be gay, bi, gender fluid, camp, manly, whatever the f*** you want – just don’t force it into everyone else’s faces. Especially children.”

But those close to Nathan say the comments left him stunned because Scotty had relied on him to help promote his own OnlyFans account.

Our insider told us: “Scotty was desperately begging Nathan to take those pictures to promote his OnlyFans. He used him to make cash.”

The source said that only made Scotty’s public comments feel even more hypocritical to Nathan, prompting him to hit back publicly.

Nathan, not letting his behaviour slide, responded again but this time on his Instagram.

He shared an old photograph which Scotty himself had asked him to take in order to help promote his OnlyFans account – pointing to what he believed was a glaring contradiction between Scotty’s past behaviour and his current narrative.

Alongside it he wrote: “B***h I know you lying when you asked me to take this and used it to promote your OF implying gay s**t. The math ain’t mathing.”

Those close to Nathan said he couldn’t sit back without saying anything.

One pal said: “He couldn’t understand the contradiction between what Scotty had asked of him in the past and what he was now saying publicly.”

For fans who have followed Geordie Shore over the past decade, the public fallout marks a remarkable turn for two castmates whose friendship appeared to survive almost everything the show threw at them.

When Nathan first joined the series, he initially came out as bisexual before later identifying as gay. Scotty was among those who publicly accepted him, and the pair went on to film multiple series together, including the recent reunion seasons and the milestone Thailand trip that marked Scotty’s return to the franchise.

Away from the cameras, however, life has taken both men in very different directions.

Nathan, now 35, has largely stepped away from the party-boy image that first made him famous. He recently revealed he has been in a private relationship for three years and has deliberately kept it away from the spotlight.

He also opened his life to viewers in an emotional four-part MTV documentary alongside his father Glen, who is living with terminal cancer. The series explored family, illness and LGBTQ+ acceptance within Caribbean culture, earning widespread praise for its honesty.

Scotty’s recent years, meanwhile, have been considerably more turbulent.

Best known for starring on Geordie Shore between 2012 and 2019 before winning Celebrity Big Brother, he has faced a series of financial and legal difficulties since leaving the show.

Earlier this year, court proceedings heard that he now earns money through club appearances and OnlyFans after admitting an offence relating to unlawful financial promotions on Instagram. During the hearing, it was also stated that he received financial support from his mother, while he had previously been declared bankrupt after his company went into liquidation.

Last October, Scotty announced he had become a father, describing his baby son as “the most important thing” in his life.

Whether the pair can repair more than ten years of friendship now remains to be seen.

But friends fear this will cause a big obstacle in their future.

One pal said: “Nathan feels like someone who supported him and his life for so many years has changed his views so much.

“It feels like an attack on the community he’s proud to be part of. That’s why this has hurt so much.”

The Sun has contacted reps for Nathan and Scotty T for comment.

Wimbledon 2026 results: Arthur Fery defies odds to reach shock semi-final

Fery achieved his latest, most impressive win to date in a style at complete odds with the journey that had taken him there.

He dropped the opening set in his first two matches and then required match tie-breaks to overcome Zizou Bergs and Grigor Dimitrov in five-set thrillers.

Having twice been a set and a break down against Bergs in the third round – including going 4-1 down in the fifth set – he also had to take three medical timeouts after suffering a nosebleed.

Making his first appearance on Centre Court, he twice went a break down in a must-win fourth set against Dimitrov, before the 35-year-old Bulgarian’s own nerves appeared and Fery capitalised.

But, at two hours and 14 minutes, his match against Cobolli was his shortest of the tournament so far.

Fery has spent 16 hours and 20 minutes on court in total – his match against Bergs lasted four hours and 39 minutes alone – yet he showed no sign of fatigue against his Italian opponent.

Roared on throughout by a partisan crowd, Fery demonstrated unshakeable composure as he picked apart the below-par Cobolli, who lost June’s French Open final to Alexander Zverev in five sets and made the last eight at Wimbledon last year.

“What I’ve been so impressed with is Fery’s belief,” added former British number one Tim Henman.

“When you go out on Centre Court for the first time and you are a British player, you have the hopes and expectations of a lot of people on your shoulders.

“He has good tennis IQ, he is a phenomenal mover. The way he has handled the occasion is impeccable. When opportunities have been earned, he has taken them.

“For him to produce a performance like that against a Grand Slam finalist, given that the first two sets were so tight and such high quality, it was absolutely sensational.

“It will just go even further to enhance his inner belief that he can keep winning in this tournament.”

Clare Balding’s ‘major shock’ as defending Wimbledon champion Swiatek knocked out

Wimbledon was rocked by a stunning upset on Saturday as defending champion Iga Świątek was knocked out in the third round

There were tears on Centre Court as one Champion was knocked out of the tennis competition.

Wimbledon entered its sixth day of intense action on Saturday (July 4) as competitors battled to secure their place in the fourth round. The compelling order of play featured Emma Navarro (USA) going up against Marta Kostyuk (UKR) on Court Two, while Arthur Fery flew the flag for Great Britain on Court 18 against Belgium’s Zizou Bergs, amongst numerous other fixtures.

Yet it was Centre Court that left spectators utterly stunned as the Philippines’ Alexandra Eala squared off against Poland’s Iga Świątek. Presently sitting third in the global women’s singles rankings, Świątek, 25, is a six-time Grand Slam winner and was competing to retain her title.

Świątek secured her maiden Wimbledon crown last summer when she delivered a devastating 6-0, 6-0 final triumph over Amanda Anisimova. However, she has now been eliminated from this year’s tournament.

Throughout the gripping third-round encounter with 29th seed Eala, Świątek surrendered the opening set in an extraordinary tie-break, 21-19, before collapsing in the second set, going down 7-6 (11-9) 6-2.

While BBC One was broadcasting the Arthur Fery fixture, presenter Clare Balding broke in to confirm that Eala has created history as the first Filipino player to advance to the fourth round of a major championship, reports the Express.

Speaking live from the BBC studios at Wimbledon, in London, Clare announced: “Let us bring you up to date with a major shock. The defending champion, Iga Świątek, is out of Wimbledon, and Alex Eala is the first player from the Philippines ever to reach the fourth round here.

“A huge result, she is immensely popular all around the world, and gets really big crowds following her. Eala is only 21, and this is a massive moment for her, and indeed for the Philippines.”

Having clinched her winning point, Eala collapsed to the ground before swiftly rising to her feet to pay tribute to her opponent, Świątek.

Visibly overcome with emotion during her on-court interview, Eala reflected on her childhood, when such an achievement could only have been the stuff of dreams.

“I’m really emotional. For someone like Iga, who has won so many Grand Slams, or maybe like Serena or Venus, this achievement may seem small but for someone who grew up in the Philippines it is huge,” she said as the crowd cheered.

“I went to train with my brother and my grandfather every day after school with my ruffled socks, light-up shoes, and chubby cheeks, so to younger me, this is everything. But, obviously, just because I’m emotional does not mean I’m satisfied, so next round let’s go!”

All the latest action from Wimbledon is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.

Disaster Capitalism in Haiti Gives a Glimpse Into the Imperialist Shock Doctrine That Could Rattle Venezuela Long After the Earthquakes

The U.S. has attacked Venezuela through various means for decades and kidnapped President Maduro but is now claiming to assist with earthquake relief. If it’s role in Haiti is any guide, that so-called aid from the U.S. is a Trojan Horse bringing more plunder and control.

For decades, the U.S. has waged a carefully planned and unrelenting attack on Venezuela’s economy using unilateral coercive measures, commonly known as economic sanctions, to destabilize and destroy the country’s socialist Bolivarian government. Though the earthquakes that devastated the nation were not caused by the U.S., the destabilization of the Venezuelan government, economy, and infrastructure was. The damage from those sanctions was so pervasive that any natural disaster large enough would be catastrophic, leading to foreign aid being used not only to produce enormous capitalist profits for foreign interests but also to bring the country more firmly under U.S. control. This is the situation Venezuela faces today.

George W. Bush imposed the first coercive measures against Venezuela in 2006. Democratically elected President Hugo Chávez had the nerve to criticize the U.S. for its bloodthirsty response to 9/11 and refused to support or participate in the U.S. sham counterterrorism efforts. Chávez did so in a very public and embarrassing way for Bush, as he declared from the lectern at the United Nations that George W. Bush was the devil, and that the podium that Bush had just delivered his own remarks from still smelled like sulfur. Bush responded by declaring Venezuela a state sponsor of terror along with Cuba and Iran (notice a pattern here). Bush also claimed that Venezuela refused to adhere to international counternarcotics agreements, breathing life into the claim that the Bolivarian government was a sponsor of narcoterrorism. But even before that, in 2004, Bush restricted non-humanitarian aid to the country, claiming they weren’t doing enough to stop human trafficking. Bush did all of this after the failed U.S.-backed coup against Chávez in 2002 that was tied to his administration.

The aggression toward Venezuela did not end with the Bush presidency. In December 2014, Obama signed the Venezuela Defense of Human Rights and Civil Society Act after U.S. intelligence agencies and the Department of State claimed that the Venezuelan government was committing human rights abuses against government opposition members. This was done in response to the Maduro government charging opposition members with engaging in conspiracies to overthrow him. Obama imposed sanctions on seven Venezuelan officials, and in  March 2015, he issued an Executive Order implementing these sanctions and expanded them to block their visas and freeze the U.S. property of the targets. Obama publicly declared Venezuela an “…extraordinary threat to the national security of the United States.”

In response, President Maduro said in a nationally televised speech, “President Barack Obama, representing the U.S. imperialist elite, has personally decided to take on the task of defeating my government and intervening in Venezuela to control it.” One of the impacted Venezuelan officials, Diosdado Cabello, said, “What is being planned are attacks against our land, against our country, military attacks.” It took the U.S. a few years, but…

President Donald Trump imposed more, wider-reaching economic coercive measures in 2017 during his first term. In addition to recognizing unelected opposition figure Juan Guaido as president of Venezuela, Trump also sanctioned the state-run oil company PDVSA, denying the government access to U.S. financial markets. He froze PDVSA’s assets and finally imposed a near-complete economic embargo on the country. And in 2020, the Trump Justice Department indicted President Maduro on charging the president and 14 others with narcoterrorism, conspiracy to import cocaine, and gun charges. It also accused him of coordinating with the leftist guerrilla peasant militia Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC), or Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia. Founded as the military wing of the Colombian Communist Party, which sought to redistribute land and resources that the Colombian government denied to the desperately poor peasants in rural areas. After years of fighting with the government, FARC was officially dissolved in the 2016 Peace Accord with the Colombian government. They are now a legal left-wing political party, initially called the Common Alternative Revolutionary Force and later renamed the Comunes (Commons). Trump then issued a $15 million bounty for information leading to Maduro’s arrest. Not to be outdone in attempting to enact regime change in Venezuela, President Joe Biden doubled the bounty to $25 million, with no additional indictments added.

The measures barred Venezuela from importing equipment, spare parts, and industrial chemicals to maintain its oil production facilities and shipping capabilities. Oil infrastructure across the country deteriorated, and oil production was driven far below the previous 3 billion barrels a day at its 2008 height to barely above 300,000 barrels a day.

While many people accurately note that the U.S. is after control of Venezuela’s enormous oil reserves, the country’s mineral wealth is also crucial to the U.S. and much of the world, as it includes bauxite and rare earth minerals critical for weapons systems, satellite manufacturing, and AI technologies. When we consider the struggle we are engaging in to stop the proliferation of these technologies from being used to violate our privacy, whatever freedom we have left, our environment, and our very lives, consider that the U.S. pursuit of these materials has already directly caused the instability, suffering, worsened health outcomes, and deaths of tens of thousands of Venezuelans.

Venezuela relies largely on oil exports to fund its public sector commitments; the collapse of oil exports crippled its primary source of public revenue, making it impossible to import essential goods like food and medicine. The Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR) estimated that 40,000 Venezuelans died due to economic coercive measures between 2018 and 2019 alone. Former U.S. Special Rapporteur Alfred de Zayas estimated the deaths to have been over 100,000 by 2020. But this is neither unexpected nor unwanted by the U.S. government. Economic sanctions are designed to cause so much hardship for the people of a country that they will rise up in frustration and anger at their own government. U.S. officials understood that imposing economic sanctions on the country would prevent it from importing not just materials to maintain the oil sector but also necessities for the Venezuelan people, such as food, medicine, fuel, and even toilet paper. But public infrastructure, from hospitals and office buildings to apartment buildings and water systems, also fell into disrepair as materials needed to maintain it could not be imported due to sanctions. With the physical buildings weakened, the country was far more vulnerable to disasters like the June 2026 earthquakes than it would have been had the sanctions not been in place.

By the time Trump returned to the White House in 2024, despite the immense damage already done to the country’s economy and infrastructure, they had not done what successive U.S. presidents wanted: to bring about the collapse of the Bolivarian government in Venezuela. Trump imposed more measures after his return to office, doubled Biden’s bounty increase on Maduro to $50 million, and eventually carried out the violent kidnapping of President Nicholas Maduro and First Combatant Cilia Flores in the pre-dawn hours of January 3, 2026, with the help of the Navy and Marines of the Southern US Command (SOUTHCOM), which also carried out the indiscriminate murders of Caribbean fisherfolk in the months prior to the kidnapping. The bounty was never paid to anyone. He also added to the original 2020 indictment against Maduro by adding his now-kidnapped wife and National Assemblywoman Flores, and adding charges of “…narco-terrorism conspiracy, cocaine importation conspiracy, possession of machine guns and destructive devices, and conspiracy to possess machine guns and destructive devices against the United States.” They are both held in separate solitary confinement cells in the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, NY, awaiting their sham trials.

It is an obscenity that the same SOUTHCOM is now deploying forces to Caracas to provide post-disaster air traffic and airport support. But it is a greater crime that the U.S. has positioned itself and its interests to finally get what it wants – control of Venezuela’s oil and minerals sectors and eventual privatization of public services that define the Socialist Bolivarian government – even if it is a natural disaster that provides them the perfect opportunity to achieve it. This, after expropriating Venezuela’s oil industry and profiting from selling the stolen crude, Trump sending a measly $150 million in “aid” to the country he stole their sovereign materials from is a settler colonial level insult.

This is “disaster capitalism,” popularized by Naomi Klein in her book The Shock Doctrine, but a well-documented aspect of imperialist plunder. In the process of imposing economic shocks through sanctions by an external entity or through the implementation of neoliberal policies internally, Klein explains how governments and corporations exploit the shock of an unplanned, catastrophic event to impose radical, wholesale austerity and control. Disaster response becomes the vehicle for enormous foreign investment and development, foreign control of that development, and ultimately the usurpation of the existing but weakened state in favor of the foreign governments and corporate interests behind the aid money. Economic policies that would be rejected under normal circumstances are more easily imposed on an already vulnerable state when that state and its people are rendered desperate by a natural disaster.

The use of disaster relief as a Trojan Horse for neoliberal plunder and control after the 2010 earthquake in Haiti may give us a terrifying vision of what could be in store for Venezuela today.

The earthquake in Haiti was used as a pretext for the US to assert near-total control over the country’s recovery, if not the country itself, along with its foreign allies in the UN-imposed Core Group that governs the island nation. Aid and reconstruction, and the billions of dollars for it, were directed by those and other foreign governments and contractors, bypassing the Haitian state under then-president René Préval. International entities justified this by claiming Haiti was hopelessly corrupt. What they were, however, was in disarray after the earthquake destroyed much of the government’s infrastructure, including the National Assembly and the National Palace, and years of imperialist control usurped its sovereignty.

But this excuse was needed to justify the Haitian government seeing very little of the billions of dollars pledged for relief and reconstruction. The Associated Press reported in 2013 that CEPR found that out of the $1.15 billion pledged, only 1% went to Haitian companies. They found instead that “…the ‘vast majority’ of the money it could follow went straight to U.S. companies or organizations, more than half in the Washington area alone.” And what was constructed was for the benefit of foreign corporate and Haitian comprador interests, who had the protection of the United States government to bend Haiti to all of their will.

The $224 million Caracol Industrial Park, built with reconstruction funds allocated through the recovery mission co-chaired by former U.S. President Bill Clinton, is a continuing example of disaster capitalism and the nefarious ways that Western imperialists profit from natural and human catastrophe.

In 2011, scores of farmers and other residents were evicted from their fertile agricultural land, far from the impact zone, to make way for its construction. They were given little notice to leave and insufficient compensation. They fought for years to secure a reparations agreement with the Haitian government and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in 2018, which included new land, jobs, equipment, and other compensation. Many finally received reimbursement in 2020, but not all, and not nearly enough for what was taken from them by the U.S., the IDB, and USAID, who were the major funders of the project.

The park was designed to attract foreign garment companies with tax exemptions and cheap labor, as wages were promised to be kept as low as $1.75 a day. The garment companies did come, and the Clintons promised hundreds of thousands of jobs. But fewer than 10,000 were produced, and they were at the same low rate of less than $2.00 a day that Haitians had been fighting to raise for years before the earthquake against a small group of Haitian manufacturing, import/export, and political elites controlling the country’s existing manufacturing industries with the backing of the U.S. government. When the Haitian government passed a law in 2009 to raise the country’s minimum wage for garment workers to $3 a day and $5 a day for other sectors due to the people’s agitation, foreign companies and the Haitian elite colluded with the U.S. State Department and, with a study from USAID that said raising the minimum wage would make the garment sector economically unviable, successfully blocked the legislation.

While Bill and Hillary Clinton have never admitted involvement in suppressing Haitian wages, Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State under President Barack Obama when the State Department cables that WikiLeaks published revealed the covert wage-suppression scheme that resulted in legislation being passed in the U.S. to favor the Haitian elite and foreign investors: the Haitian Hemispheric Opportunity through Partnership Encouragement (HOPE) Acts I & II. There was no way the Clintons were not involved, as it was the Clinton Foundation through which they did much of their work in Haiti, and Haitians hold them responsible for the abysmal outcome.

By the end of 2011, one year after the earthquake, most of the promised aid had not been disbursed, and what was went to projects unrelated to housing, feeding, or providing any aid or support to the displaced, like the Caracol Industrial Park.  The scandal was compounded by revelations that some major aid organizations achieved very little with the funds they received, so no one could really account for where the billions of dollars went, other than into the pockets of non-Haitians.

Today, Haiti is still among the poorest countries in the world. Haitians have continued to protest not just against the minimum wage, but also the lack of sovereignty and human dignity imposed upon them as they endure a rise in U.S.-fueled gang violence, attacks on Haitian immigrants from this administration, continued control from the UN-appointed Core Group with no elected leadership chosen by them, and another UN invasion/intervention to quell unrest.

This is the future that the U.S. wants for Venezuela. To make Venezuela like Haiti or something close to it, at least in the manner of creating a dismantled state that the U.S. can swoop into, plunder, and control. Although Haiti and Venezuela may not be perfectly similar in many ways, but the use of an earthquake to further imperialist takeover of a country already weakened by relentless Western hegemony in response to the successful liberation struggle of largely Afro-descendent and Indigenous peasantry to free themselves from European settler colonial domination and capitalist exploitation are complementary examples of how a natural disaster is be used to deepen imperialist control under the guise of aid, instead of the most powerful and wealthiest country in the world using that power and money to help suffering human beings. And then the same country calls those states failed, and demonizes the government and the people as immature, unable to govern themselves, and an example of the failures of socialism or communism.

As U.S. officials are on the ground in Venezuela openly “coordinating” with the Interim President Delcy Rodriguez, it must be understood that this is done with the threat of her own indictment and imprisonment on bogus charges of narcotrafficking, human rights abuses, corruption, or grave robbing, depending on how amusing the U.S. wants to be with the sham accusations over her head.

And now, the U.S. is poised to use this unbelievably tragic disaster as an even bigger cudgel to force the Venezuelan state to concede much, much more, seizing this opportunity to tighten its control over the country’s oil and mineral resources, effectively absorbing it into the U.S. sphere of influence, to be used as a weapon against the rest of the U.S.’s designated enemies, Cuba, China, and Russia. Venezuela has had friendly relations with all of these countries, and all countries that the U.S. is also softening up with sanctions, embargoes, and threats of worse treatment.

We must expand and deepen the struggle against the U.S. re-colonization of the Western Hemisphere and join our struggling brothers and sisters in the Global South for an end to imperialist aggression, hegemony, and gangsterism, and we must target the enemy in whose camp we reside with clarity and purpose.

Because natural disasters will never stop happening. But disaster capitalism never has to happen again.

Not if we destroy capitalism and the empires that are erected upon it.

“I wouldn’t shrink myself to make someone comfortable. I need help working through this betrayal.”

Taylor then got in her car after the therapy session and took her dog for a walk.

She then returned back home looking tearful as she debriefed to a friend who hugged her.

In the post’s caption, Taylor shared how hard a break-up can be in the public eye, saying: “Come to Dylan Gossett with me and a proper day in the life vlog.

“The experience of a public break up is so, SO weird. Because you’re trying to grieve the future you thought you were going to have and was promised, in real time; with every other persons 2 pence included.

“I’m very thankful for social media and what I’ve been able to achieve so far because of it (rehoming a lot of dogs in shelters, building my business, advocating topics I really care about), but experiencing the downsides is, well, savage.”

On June 29, Giant, real name Jamie, announced his split from Taylor.

He had previously been given an ultimatum to either stay with her or leave the show due to her being on OnlyFans.

However, he’s now done a U-turn and called time on their romance despite being axed by the BBC.

Jamie took to Instagram to address the speculation that his relationship had ended.

He said: “I’m not in a relationship anymore. I’m working on myself, the most important person right now to serve the people that I love is working on me.

“Working out who it is I want be, which direction I want to go in because the ego has been put in a box, I want to move forwards and I want people to know me for me.”

He claimed he doesn’t know what’s next for him but he knows he want to be a “better person.”

Jamie split from his ex wife in November and shortly after began dating Taylor.

Inside influencer Amelia Liana’s honeymoon as we reveal identity of secret husband after shock wedding

WITH a wardrobe to envy Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw, lifestyle
influencer Amelia Liana appeared to be the ultimate single girl.

But her carefully curated “single girl” persona was shattered this
week when she published her YouTube vlog on Sunday night, titled: “I
GOT MARRIED!!!!”

Amelia stunned fans when she revealed she had secretly married after months of presenting herself as single online Credit: instagram/@amelialiana
Just weeks before announcing her wedding, Amelia was sharing advice about life as a single woman in her thirties Credit: supplied/youtube

After all, Amelia, 34, who shares every inch of her life online, was not wearing an engagement ring – let alone mentioning that she had a boyfriend.

Only two months ago she posted a video on her YouTube account titled: “Single in my 30s and life update.”

So for the two million followers she calls “family”, it came as a huge shock.

London-born Amelia Liana launched her YouTube in 2013 and
has since grown on TikTok and Instagram – publishing her luxury
lifestyle which includes running “boujie errands” such as picking up
jewellery at Cartier.

In her reveal video on Sunday, Amelia did little to quell her
followers’ thirst to know about her marriage—and, more to the point,
her new man.

The description read: “Surprise! We skipped a chapter! I’ve been
keeping a little secret and I couldn’t wait to tell you that I got
married!”

Sat in her “shroom” [shoe room] in her multi-million London townhouse,
Amelia said: “This is going to make me really emotional saying this
because I feel like you guys are family – I couldn’t wait to tell
you.”

She added: “I decided that the next relationship I shared online was
going to be my husband. This is definitely the best relationship I have ever been in, in my life and that’s why I married him.

“Some people predicted that I was getting married or something was
going on because there were a lot of men’s shoes around.”

Of keeping her marriage under wraps, she said: “I couldn’t cut so much
footage because there was a lot of footage already being cut because I
kept forgetting to take off my ring.

“I think a lot of people on TikTok spotted it because I forgot to cut
out my ring in a video and it was up for like half an hour and then I
deleted it and reposted it because that was not supposed to be how I
wanted to tell you.”

However I can reveal that Amelia has tied the knot with a 41-year-old high-flying CEO named Michael.

The marriage took place on May 19 at Chelsea Old Town Hall on the King’s Road in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Her new husband who speaks English and German, and is the CEO of a multinational brand.

Amelia and her new man have also chosen not to follow each other on Instagram.

The couple are understood to have also had a ceremony at Spencer House in London’s St James’s with family and friends.

The Great Room, which overlooks Green Park, costs between £13,750 and £15,000 to hire.

She is also believed to have held her reception at London’s five-star hotel Claridge’s which can cost up to £30,000 with food and drinks included.

Amelia requested that her wedding planner organise an Alfonso mango stand at the reception.

She also had a traditional henna party which included fellow influencers Suzie Bonaldi and Audrey Peters – instead of having bridesmaids.

In true Amelia style, her bridal party – including sister Hannah and mum Carol – got ready in the £6,000-a-night room, The Dorchester Suite, at the five-star hotel overlooking Hyde Park.

Meanwhile I have heard that the couple honeymooned at the five-star Amanzoe resort in Greece.

A pool pavilion room at the resort costs around £3,542 per night and includes a 19ft private pool and views of the Aegean Sea.

The stay includes complimentary movements classes including Pilates and yoga as well as daily breakfast.

Of the wedding, a friend said: “It was a really fantastic day. Amelia couldn’t be happier. They had 200 of her closest friends and family there – and she, luckily, timed the weather well.

“It was just before the full heatwave – and was a glorious sunny day…without being too hot! She and her husband have known each other a long time – and got engaged last year.

“They actually had their formal marriage a few weeks before posting. Now, happily married, Amelia’s looking forward to getting back to work with a renewed sense of vigour – after being absolutely blown away by the reaction to her wedding videos.

“She never thought there would be so much traction from them – but those vids have already amassed more than 65 million views, which is incredible. That has been yet another boost for her – and has really rounded off a perfect few weeks.”

Amelia has so far shared 20 posts about her wedding with her 595,000 Instagram followers—with no groom in sight.

She has also set up an Instagram broadcast channel called “AL Club” to constantly keep her followers interested in the wedding.

Of what she looks for in a partner, she previously said: “I need a man that is secure. Not an insecure man – a secure man.

“If you are an insecure man – and I have had experience in this – you
are going to resent me, resent my success.”

She added: “So I need a man that is secure.”

One fan said: “SINGLE IN MY 30S” two months ago. What was the point in
all the long vents about how “behind in life you are” and repeating
you’re single over and over…

In 2019 Amelia announced that she has split from her fiance known as
“Robert” in an emotional Youtube video.

It came after Amelia documented her engagement party after announcing the proposal in December 2018.

She went on to date family friend Jak Serr – the son of BBC Apprentice
star and entrepreneur Linda Plant.

The pair documented their relationship with TikTok videos but Amelia
confirmed in 2024 that the pair had transitioned back to a friendship.
