Meta anticipated earning about 10% of its total annual revenue, or $16 billion, from advertising for scams and banned items, according to internal documents reviewed by Reuters. The documents reveal that for at least three years, the company failed to stop a significant number of ads exposing its billions of users on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp to fraudulent schemes, illegal casinos, and banned medical products. On average, around 15 billion “higher risk” scam ads, showing clear signs of fraud, were displayed daily on these platforms. Meta reportedly generates about $7 billion annually from these scam ads.
Many of these ads were linked to marketers flagged by Meta’s internal systems. However, the company only bans advertisers if fraud is at least 95% certain according to its systems. If less certain but still suspect, Meta imposes higher ad rates as a penalty instead of outright banning them. This approach aims to deter dubious advertisers without fully eliminating them. The company’s ad-personalization system also ensures that users who click on scam ads see more of them based on their interests.
The documents create an image of Meta grappling with the extent of abuse on its platforms while hesitating to take stronger actions that could impact its revenue. The acceptance of revenue from suspicious sources highlights a lack of oversight in the advertising industry, as noted by fraud expert Sandeep Abraham. Meta’s spokesperson, Andy Stone, counters that the documents provide a biased view and argues that the actual share of revenue from scam ads would be lower than estimated. He claimed the plan aimed to validate investments in combating fraud.
Stone mentioned that Meta has significantly reduced user reports of scam ads globally and removed millions of scam ad content in recent efforts. The company aims for major reductions in scam ads in the upcoming year. Despite this, internal research indicates that Meta’s platforms are central to the global fraud economy, with one presentation estimating they contribute to a third of all successful fraud in the U. S. Competitors were noted to have better systems to combat fraud.
As regulators step up pressure for stronger consumer protections, the documents reveal the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating Meta for financial scam ads. In Britain, regulators identified Meta as the source of over half of the payment-related scam losses in 2023. The company has acknowledged that addressing illicit advertising may hurt its revenue.
Meta is investing heavily in technology and has plans for extensive capital expenditures in AI. CEO Mark Zuckerberg reassured investors that their advertising revenue can support these projects. The internal documents suggest a careful consideration of the financial impact of increasing measures against scam ads, indicating that while the company intends to reduce illicit revenue, it is wary of the potential business implications.
Despite planning to diminish scam ads’ revenue share, Meta is bracing for regulatory fines, estimating penalties that could reach up to $1 billion. However, these fines are viewed as comparatively minor against the income from scam ads, which already generates significant revenue. The leadership’s strategy shows a tendency to react to regulatory pressure rather than implementing proactive measures to vet advertisers effectively. Stone disputed claims that Meta’s policy is to act only under regulatory threat.
Meta has set limits on how much revenue it can afford to lose from actions against suspect advertisers. In early 2025, a document revealed that the team reviewing questionable ads was restricted to a loss of no more than 0.15% of company revenue, which equated to around $135 million from Meta’s total of $90 billion in the same period. A manager noted that this revenue cap included both scam ads and harmless ads that might be mistakenly blocked, indicating strict financial boundaries in their approach.
Under increasing pressure to manage scams more effectively, Meta’s executives proposed a moderate strategy to CEO Mark Zuckerberg in October 2024. Instead of a drastic approach, they suggested targeting countries where they anticipated regulatory action. Their goal was to reduce the revenue lost to scams, illegal gambling, and prohibited goods from approximately 10.1% in 2024 to 7.3% by the end of 2025, with further reductions planned for subsequent years.
A surge in online fraud was noted in 2022, when Meta uncovered a network of accounts pretending to be U. S. military members trying to scam Facebook users. Other scams, such as sextortion, were also rising. Yet, at that time, Meta invested little in automated systems to detect such scams and categorized them as a low-priority issue. Internal documents showed efforts were mainly focused on fraudsters impersonating celebrities, which threatened to alienate advertisers and users alike. However, layoffs at Meta affected the enforcement team, as many working on advertiser rights were let go, and resources shifted heavily toward virtual reality and AI projects.
Despite layoffs, Meta claimed to have increased its staff handling scam advertising. However, data from 2023 revealed that Meta was ignoring about 96% of valid scam reports filed by users, suggesting a significant gap in their response to customer concerns. The safety staff aimed to improve this by reducing the number of dismissed reports to no more than 75% in the future.
Instances of user frustration were evident, such as a recruiter for the Royal Canadian Air Force who lost access to her account after being hacked. Despite multiple reports to Meta, her account remained active, even sharing false cryptocurrency investment opportunities that defrauded her connections. Reports indicated that she had many people flag her account, but it took about a month before Meta finally removed it.
Meta refers to scams that do not involve paid ads as “organic,” which include free classified ads, fake dating profiles, and fraudulent medical claims. A report from December 2024 stated that users face approximately 22 billion organic scam attempts each day, alongside 15 billion scam ads, highlighting the company’s ongoing struggle to manage fraud effectively. Internal documents suggest that Meta’s efforts to police fraud are not capturing much of the scam activity occurring across its platforms.
In Singapore, police shared a list of 146 scams targeting local users, but Meta staff found that only 23% of these scams broke the platform’s policies. The remaining 77% went against the spirit of the rules but not the exact wording. Examples of unchecked scams included fake offers on designer clothes, false concert tickets, and job ads pretending to be from major tech firms. In one case, Meta discovered scam ads claiming to belong to the Canadian prime minister, yet the existing rules wouldn’t flag the account.
Even when advertisers are found to be scamming, the rules can be lenient. Small advertisers need to be flagged for scams eight times before being blocked, while larger ones can have over 500 complaints without being shut down. Some scams generated significant revenue; for example, four removed ads were linked to $67 million monthly.
An employee initiated reports highlighting the “Scammiest Scammer” each week to raise awareness, but some flagged accounts remained active for months. Meta tried to deter scammers by charging them more in ad auctions, labeling this practice “penalty bids. ” Advertisers suspected of fraud would have to bid higher amounts, thus reducing competition for legitimate advertisers. Meta aimed to decrease scam ads from this approach, which showed some success, resulting in fewer scam reports and a slight dip in overall ad revenue.
OVER one million people watched as Brittany Miller made the perfect roast potato over the weekend – for her perfect twins in her perfect home with her perfect smile.
But behind the 29-year-old influencer’s flawless façade lies a sinister web of lies which saw her fake cancer and con her followers. Now, for the first time we reveal the truth behind her shock scam – and why she’ll stop at nothing to achieve fame.
Brittany Miller now has a huge social media following – but her past is unknown to manyCredit: instagram/@brittanyhmillerrrThe mum-of-two has created a picture-perfect family life with boyfriend Ash GriffithsCredit: instagram/@brittanyhmillerrr
In 2017, Brittany was an unknown 21-year-old living in Oxfordshire, with dreams of becoming the next big social media influencer. Her small online community were then left shocked when she claimed to have been diagnosed with stage three gastric cancer.
Her friends rallied around her – a crowdfunding page was set up to help support her financially and interest around her started growing.
But then just as fast as her cancer news started spreading – it then disappeared and wasn’t mentioned again. No trace of her extraordinary lie could be found online.
It wasn’t until 2020 when Brittany collaborated with a breast cancer awareness charity that her former best friend decided to speak out – revealing the whole thing had been a scam.
Brittany lied to us all – not just her friends but also her followers online
Former friend
The police have confirmed to The Sun that Brittany was indeed convicted of her crime – fraud by false representation.
In July 2020, she was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and was forced to pay compensation and costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Her criminal record will no longer show up on basic checks, which has left her victims furious.
Speaking anonymously, a former pal revealed that Brittany had in fact been the one to set up the JustGiving page and had begged her friends to circulate it for her.
They told us: “Brittany lied to us all – not just her friends but also her followers online.
“Now people are following her and they have no idea what she is really like.
“Yes it happened years ago but lying about cancer is really wrong. Lots of her followers will have family members living with cancer but little do they know that every time they watch one of her videos, they are giving money to a fraud.”
MAKING CASH AND FALLING OUT
Indeed, Brittany has built herself a successful online career. Her videos are mostly her dishing up huge meals, making home comfort food or showing hauls from Temu or Shein.
It might not be groundbreaking stuff but she has 3.5 million people following her on TikTok.

Her boyfriend, Ash Griffiths, regularly features in her clips and in July last year she gave birth to identical twins, Elijah and Emiliano, who have also become a big part of her content.
The couple recently moved into a plush new home in East Sussex, thanks to the proceeds from Brittany’s TikTok account.
Looking back, another friend recalled how Brittany would tell her she was in hospital, having treatment, including radiotherapy and would guilt trip her when she wasn’t available to hang out with her.
Things came to a head when the pal accused Brittany of stealing money from her grandma.
In messages seen by The Sun, someone appearing to be Brittany admits to taking the cash but blames it on the strong medication she was taking. The pair fell out shortly after.
In the weeks and months after Brittany’s crime was revealed, there has been a lot of online speculation but she has never addressed what happened.
The former pal told us: “Brittany has done what she can to erase her history and will delete any comments referencing it.
“It’s pretty scary to think she was happy to lie about cancer and makes you wonder just how far she will go to be super successful.
“This isn’t about getting revenge on her, it’s about people knowing the truth, which they deserve.”
The star is often seen dishing up huge meals and making home comfort food
PAST MISTAKES AND PRESENT ISSUES
The cancer scam wasn’t the only time Brittany has been caught telling lies.
In 2018, she was convicted of travelling on the railway without having paid the fare. She gave the officer of the railway company a fake name and address. She was fined £320.
Ash, who is the father of their twins, was even quizzed on her being an alcoholic and a “druggy.”
I’m in the spotlight, I get millions of views every video, I get it, there’s nasty people out there
Brittany on her fame
Unlike in the past, Brittany decided to be very open about what had been going on and, in an emotional video, she acknowledged that someone reported her to social services, not only accusing her of child abuse, but holding her responsible for “lots of things”.
She confirmed that she “got questioned about everything” and was “really upset” when she spoke to them on the phone, so much so that she “kept having to pause” because she was crying so much.
No further action was taken but the whole incident left Brittany shaken up.
She said at the time: “People are so desperate for my downfall and bringing me down, but bringing my children into it is ludicrous – why would you want to do that to them, innocent babies?
“Do what you want to me, whatever, but to them, innocent children who are clearly very happy and healthy babies, that’s crazy, you’re an actual weirdo, you’re an actual loser.”
Brittany added: “Never in a million years did I think I’d have to go through something like this – obviously, I’m in the spotlight, I get millions of views every video, I get it, there’s nasty people out there, I understand that.
“I just think, how cruel can you actually be? So, so cruel.”
It’s not just Brittany who has been left shaken up by it all – her former friends now fear they will be targeted by trolls accusing them of spreading lies to social services.
An insider said: “It feels like trouble follows Brittany. She might have this perfect life on social media but it’s not the truth. This drama with social services won’t be the last she’s involved in. But she’s built up an incredible following now – and they will support her, no matter what.”
Brittany has been contacted for comment.

Damon Albarn has opened up about his emotional journey while recording Gorillaz’ upcoming album.

“Both Jamie and I lost our fathers,” Damon said.
“We did two quite amazing, magical trips to India.
“India is a very interesting place to carry grief, because they have a very positive outlook on death.
“England is just really bad at dealing with death.
“In a way, I think this record is in that tradition of celebrating their lives.
“I did things I’d never done before. I swam in the Ganges in Varanasi.
“I watched the bodies being burnt on the banks of the Ganges.
“In England when we cremate a body we don’t even look at the bodies, it’s covered up immediately and then it’s put in the fire, the little curtains close and that’s it.
“On the banks of the Ganges, every family is there with the body wrapped in a shroud and they’re burnt, and it’s going on everywhere. It goes on 24 hours a day and it’s been going on for thousands of years.
“I took my dad’s ashes there and I cast them in the river. It was very beautiful.”
Indian culture helped shape the record — which will be released in March — with the album’s cover art featuring the title in Devanagari, a script used to write the Indian Sanskrit language.
And this time around the pair will not make their famous, animated music videos and instead are creating a one-off production.

Damon added: “We’re making a full eight-minute thing.
“This is why there are no videos at the moment, because it’s serious stuff. It’s really great that Jamie is concentrating on doing one animated thing.
“It’s a big amount of work, any animation. It’s kind of our Achilles’ heel because no other band has to spend that kind of time just to produce one small thing.
“So let’s make it a piece of art in itself and not really rely on it for the promotional aspect of things and let it breathe in its own way.
“I think fans are going to love every aspect of this record.”

Olivia Dean has a lot of goals in the future, though – including headlining Glastonbury and releasing an album of standardsCredit: Getty
She did the chart double last month but Olivia Dean is keeping her feet firmly on the ground.
The singer scored No1s with her album The Art of Loving and single Man I Need, becoming the first British solo female artist to top both charts simultaneously since Adele in 2021.
Asked whether she’s let her success go to her head, she said: “I don’t think so. I feel like I try really hard and think all the time about not becoming a p***k. That would just be horrible.
“I’ve met some and it’s just like, ‘Oh no, it got to you’.”
On how success depends on the people around you, Olivia continued: “A lot of people work really, really hard. It’s really important to recognise that yes, you’ve worked on your skill or your craft, but all the people around you had to believe in it and be there to make it happen as well.
“It takes a village of people to make an album or do a campaign. There’s a lot that people don’t see.”
It sounds like Olivia has a lot of goals in the future, though – including headlining Glastonbury and releasing an album of standards.
On theAnd The Writer Is… with Ross Golan podcast, Olivia was also asked if she had written a musical yet.
She said: “No, but I would like to in the future. It’s definitely on the bucket list for me.”

Who would have guessed that in a starting rotation of giants and alphas, the most important pitcher would be the diminutive 27 year old with the mischievous smile who plays the role of everyone’s little brother?
From a distance, Yoshinobu Yamamoto doesn’t look like someone who figures to contend in the coming years to be the best pitcher in the world.
He stands only 5-foot-10. He’s not mean in the way frontline starters sometimes are. He’s extremely considerate of others, even people who offer minimal, if any, transactional value — or more precisely, his focus and confidence in his work don’t blind him to their sensitivities.
Beneath the mask of normality, however, there is something in Yamamoto capable of fueling the kind of complete-game performance he delivered in the Dodgers’ 5-1 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 2 of the World Series.
Yamamoto wants to be great. Or perhaps he has to be.
Look, and you will see it. Listen, and you will hear it.
Yamamoto has often shared his admiration of Clayton Kershaw, but it’s clear he doesn’t see him as just a mentor. He sees him as a benchmark by which should measure himself.
When Kershaw announced his retirement last month, Yamamoto spoke of how grateful he was to play alongside him for two years. He talked about how much he learned from him. What was particularly interesting was what he said after.
“I think from my heart that I want to be an ace pitcher like Kershaw,” Yamamoto said in Japanese, “and I want to do my best to one day surpass my great senior.”
Kershaw has 223 career victories. He won a most valuable player award. He won three Cy Young Awards.
Not only does Yamamoto want to be better than Kershaw, he’s bold enough to state that ambition publicly.
Yamamoto did something Kershaw never did against the Milwaukee Brewers in Game 2 of the National League Championship Series by pitching a complete game in the postseason.
Eleven days later, he did it again, this time against the Blue Jays in the World Series.
The last pitcher to throw a complete game in a World Series was Johnny Cueto, and he did it 10 years ago. The last pitcher to throw consecutive complete games in the postseason was Curt Schilling, and he did it 24 years ago.
Yamamoto was the Dodgers’ most dependable starter in the regular season. As a second-year major leaguer, he made a team-high 30 starts, posting a 12-8 record with a 2.49 earned-run average.
Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto reacts to recording a strikeout to close out the first inning of Game 2 of the World Series on Saturday.
(Robert Gauthier / Los Angeles Times)
His game has reached another level in the postseason, and in doing so, he might have saved the Dodgers, who were in trouble after Blake Snell’s implosion resulted in a loss in the opening game of this World Series
“I felt we had to win today no matter what,” Yamamoto said.
With his 105-pitch masterpiece, Yamamoto spared manager Dave Roberts the unpleasant duty of opening the gates to hell — pardon me, the bullpen — and tied the series at one game apiece. The next three games will be played at Dodger Stadium.
The historic performance by Yamamoto had an ominous start, as George Springer led off in the first inning with a double and advanced to third base on a single by Nathan Lukes.
Yamamoto escaped the jam by retiring Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Alejandro Kirk and Daulton Varsho in order, but his pitch count was already at 23.
“I didn’t think I could get to the end,” Yamamoto said.
The ever-optimistic Roberts was hopeful Yamamoto could complete six innings, which would task the bullpen with covering the last three. Roberts never had to prepare the smoke and mirrors required to navigate the final third of the game. Yamamoto gave up a run in the third inning but retired the last 20 batters he faced.
How he pitched reflected the reality of the Dodgers’ bullpen situation — essentially, that converted starter Roki Sasaki was the only reliever who could be trusted. Midway through the game, Yamamoto started throwing cutters, which induced contact and limited his pitch count.
“Fundamentally, my pitching style is to throw as much as I can in the strike zone,” Yamamoto said. “It’s a style in which I aim in the strike zone and throw with as much effort as I can.”
Before this postseason, the last time Yamamoto pitched a complete game was in 2023, for the Orix Buffaloes of the Japanese league.
So when Yamamoto recorded the final out of his start against the Brewers, he forgot his custom of embracing the catcher.
“It had been so long, I didn’t know where to go,” he said.
On Saturday, he knew, walking toward home plate and clasping hands with Will Smith. The guess here is that he won’t forget again. If he doesn’t pitch another complete game in these playoffs, he figures to pitch a few of them over the next handful of seasons.
Strictly Come Dancing fans will be faced with watching new hosts from next series and they have made their thoughts heard about who they would like to replace Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly
Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly announced they are leaving Strictly Come Dancing(Image: BBC)
Tess and Claudia have been the long-time faces of the hit BBC show. But their joint statement revealed this is to be their last series fronting the contest.
Now, a surprise pairing has been called out by fans to take over the baton. Commenting on a behind-the-scenes video from this year’s Pride of Britain Awards, fans have expressed their desire for the couple behind LadBaby to take centre stage on the contest.
LadBaby, whose real name is Mark Hoyle, and his wife, Roxanne, were suited and booted for the ceremony, and as they showed their unique personality in the sneak peek, fans were loving their energy.
One user gushed: “These two beautiful people are my pick for the new hosts to replace Tess and Rylan to replace Claudia on strictly.” A second agreed, saying: “Wow this was brilliant you two are amazing you presented this like real professionals , you both need to be grabbed up for your own show.”
Others didn’t specifically name Strictly, but insisted the pair deserved more time on the small screen. “You two are absolute naturals you should have your own morning show,” another penned.
And a fourth said: “You both make such fabulous hosts. So natural. Hopefully we will get to see you presenting more!” Claudia and Tess’ announcement sees the duo leave their roles after over a decade together. While the decision was a shock to some, it has long been hinted by the pair.
Tess recently revealed she wanted more weekends to herself. On the Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast she revealed how she would miss her children – Phoebe, 20, and Amber 16 – when they move away but it also would have its benefits.
And it was then that she spoke about the fact that in recent years she had missed out on lots of weekends away with pals due to being a mum as well as her Strictly commitments.
She said: “I’m not someone who goes for a day to the spa. I’m thinking, what do my kids need me to do today? Do you know what I mean?
“So I’m always making up for that. If I’ve worked for a day or two, then I’m like, now this time I need to do more for them because I was absent here. So I’m always trying to make up for that. So if I, you know, remove them from that picture.
“Yeah, I don’t know. I mean, it could be quite lovely. Could be really great. I could be on weekend breaks with my girlfriends to Ibiza. How about that? I might be back dancing on podiums.”
FORMER Sugababes star Amelle Berrabah has confirmed she’ll “reveal secrets” about the band after being ousted from the reunion.

When the Sugababes came to end, Amelle was singing alongside Heidi Range, who joined the group in 2001, and last recruit Jade Ewen, who came on board in 2009.
Whilst with Heidi and Jade, Amelle released the Suagbabes seventh album Sweet 7 before the band “fizzled out”.
At the same time, the band’s original line-up, Mutya, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy began performing together again and by 2019 won a legal battle to re-gain the band name Sugababes – essentially preventing the other three from ever reuniting.
Now Amelle is getting her own back on being ousted from the band’s reunion.

A source told the Mirror: “Mike Moore has been playing for Liam since 2017 and so he knows plenty of the Oasis tunes from the solo gigs.
“It’s not a full time slot in the band and everyone wants Bonehead well and back but it’s a huge privilege for Mike and he’s excited to get on the stage.”
Moore has a long list of credits to his name including contributions to records by Baxter Dury, Duffy, Trampolene, James Arthur and Peter Doherty.
The musician, 60, said he was moving onto the second phase of his treatment and as a result needed to miss a leg of the reunion tour.
His statement read: “Early this year I was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
“The good news is I’m responding really well to treatment, which meant I could be part of this incredible tour.
“Now, I am having to take a planned break for the next phase of my care, so I’ll be missing the gigs in Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne and Sydney.
“I’m really sad to be missing these shows but I’m feeling good and will be back ready to go in time for South America.
“Have an amazing time if you’re going this month and I’ll see you back onstage with the band in November.”
He is due to return to the stage on November 15 in Buenos Aires for the first of the final five concerts of the tour.
Oasis shared the statement on X and added: “Wishing you all the best with your treatment Bonehead – we’ll see you back on stage in South America.”
Noel Gallagher’s daughter also Anais wished him well, commenting on Instagram: “We love you so much bonehead!” while Liam’s daughter Molly Moorish wrote: “Sending love!”
Bonehead was in the band from 1991 to 1999 and played on some of their biggest hits.
The musician then rejoined when they reunited for their hugely lucrative Oasis Live ‘25 Tour.
Bonehead, who has two children with his wife Kate, previously told in 2022 how he had been diagnosed with tonsil cancer, although he was later given the all-clear.

SHE was famously axed from one of the country’s biggest soaps after joining OnlyFans – and within weeks was among its top creators, earning hundreds of thousands from her racy snaps.
But Sarah Jayne Dunn‘s X-rated spark has fizzled out, according to pals who say the former Hollyoaks star – who faced accusations she was promoting “pornography” last week – has been left out in the cold. Now, The Sun can reveal things have gone from bad to worse.

An insider told us: “There was a lot of fanfare when Sarah left the soap, and she made a big thing about why it was important to be on OnlyFans.
“It might look plain sailing, but it’s a real slog and actually very isolating. She knows people look at her at the school gates, and you only have to look online to see people’s disgust about what she does.”
Fans pay just over £11 per month to see Sarah strip off, and her posts have been liked more than 455,000 times since she joined the site four years ago this month. Her subscription numbers are no longer visible to fans.
But as the months have worn on, Sarah has had to deal with lewd, vulgar and creepy comments from her desperate subscribers, who constantly plead with her to flash more flesh.
In the last two weeks alone, her OnlyFans snaps have been littered with explicit remarks, piling on the pressure for even racier content – raising questions about what Sarah’s future on the site will look like.
Our insider continued: “Subscribers have naturally gone down, so Sarah has been working hard to produce more and more racy content. It’s a bit of a rabbit hole once you get started, and those who are still close to her are worried about how far it will go.
“Her son is getting older now, and it can’t be easy for him seeing her pictures and the headlines.”
Sarah has a nine-year-old son, Stanley, with her personal trainer husband, Jonathan Smith.
While she has previously shared a picture of Stan taking over her £20k pole-dancing room, which she had built in her garden, to play his video games, the ex-Oaks star tries to be careful around the youngster when it comes to her day job – because he is becoming “really inquisitive”.
She said last month: “He’s getting to that age where he’s really inquisitive about everything.
“I was sat in the bedroom the other morning doing my make-up, and he comes into the bedroom and goes, ‘Mum, what is p***y?’ I was racking my brain, going, ‘Oh my God, what has he seen?’ I’ve got this book next to my make-up mirror called P***y.”
Sarah – who played Hollyoaks’ Mandy Richardson from 1996 to 2021 – has made no secret of wanting to maintain her wealth and has recently trained as a pole dancing teacher to boost her income.
It was the latest blow for the star who has struggled to land TV work and has lost two of her closest friends in her bid to become a top content creator.
Showbiz bust-up
We can reveal she is no longer speaking to Stephanie Waring, who played her onscreen sister, following her fallout with glamour model Rhian Sugden.

Raised eyebrows over her lifestyle choice is not something new for Sarah, who recently admitted she has constantly faced accusations she is baring all on OnlyFans.
She recently said: “Whenever I get stick, it’s because of people going, ‘Well, you’re getting your fl**s out,’ and I’m like, ‘I’m actually not, thank you very much.’
“People just associate the platform with porn. That’s fine, because the platform does have that content, but it doesn’t mean everyone on there is doing that.”
Hollyoaks bosses clearly had a similar view, and we can reveal that since joining OnlyFans, Sarah has had a bust-up with her former co-star Stephanie Waring.
An insider told us: “Sarah and Steph were always very close, but when Sarah started posting online, things between them started to change.
“They have barely spoken since, and Sarah definitely didn’t rush to support her when she was axed from the show last year.
“They don’t even follow each other anymore. It’s very sad it’s come to this.”
Steph has previously said she wouldn’t dream of using her body to make money – unlike Sarah.
Sarah is convinced Steph is one of the people who grassed her up to Hollyoaks bosses
An Insider
She told the Secure The Insecure podcast: “I don’t think I could ever sexualise myself in that way.
“I’m nearly 50 and I just don’t think that’s my angle… never say never, though. People change all the time.”
One of Sarah’s post-Hollyoaks ventures saw her co-host podcast Hot and Bothered alongside Page 3 legend Rhian Sugden, in which the pair discussed everything from sex toys to fetishes.
We can reveal Sarah is no longer pals with Stephanie Waring – who played her sister on HollyoaksCredit: GettyShe has also fallen out with Rhian Sugden after launching a podcast togetherCredit: David Cummings – Commissioned by The Sun
Sarah and Rhian even took part in a joint lingerie-clad photoshoot to promote their sex podcast – but the pair have since fallen out.
Rhian claimed she had been dropped from the joint podcast, despite reportedly investing thousands in it, and the pair are no longer thought to be on speaking terms.
In 2023, a friend close to the pair said: “Rhian reached out to Sarah after the whole Hollyoaks sacking drama, and she became a real source of support for her.
“They went in on the podcast together and had loads of fun making it – and had loads of listeners.
“It came as a real shock to everyone when Sarah just cut her out. There’s been no contact since, and it’s all very sad.”
Last weekend, she made it clear to her OnlyFans followers how much she wants to land a spot on her dream show – Strictly.
She posted a picture wearing a see-through red bra with sequins, with her nipples clearly visible, and asked her followers: “Who’d like to see me on Strictly?!”
Sarah received just one response. The follower wrote: “People would [black love heart emoji] to see you on Strictly!”
The star also has her heart set on appearing in I’m A Celebrity, which is filmed in the Australian jungle.
A source told us: “Sarah has made no secret of the fact she would love to head into the jungle, or on the Strictly ballroom, but neither shows have come calling yet.
“They are dream paydays for most out-of-work actors and content creators, and she is desperate to appear on one.”
Another pal close to Sarah insisted: “Sarah is under no pressure around her OnlyFans work, she is able to be fully in control of her life, work as and when she wants, and it’s afforded her numerous wonderful opportunities.
“With regards to any mention of a fall out with friends, there is certainly no falling out from Sarah’s side, so this is news to her. Sarah is a huge fan of Strictly Come Dancing, so naturally would love to be on the show!”
It doesn’t look like BBC bosses will be calling her to swap pole dancing for the ballroom just yet, so for now, Sarah may have to stick to the sexy snaps.

Expedia has released its top travel trends for 2026 – including ‘Fan Voyage’, ‘Salvaged Stays’, and ‘Hotel Hop’ – and the destinations to visit for a ‘smart’ holiday
Experts have revealed the hottest travel trends for 2026(Image: Getty Images)
The ‘Unpack ’26’ report from travel giants Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo has revealed the top holiday trends for the year ahead, including ‘Fan Voyage’, ‘Hotel Hop’, and ‘Salvaged Stays’. The report, which surveyed 24,000 people across 18 countries, shows a growing trend of travellers booking trips specifically to experience immersive local activities.
‘Fan Voyage’ holidays combine travel with unique regional sporting activities, such as Sumo Wrestling in Japan or curling in Canada, according to Expedia. Meanwhile, ‘Salvaged Stay’ sees holidaymakers blending historical architecture with modern amenities, opting for upcycled retreats like former schoolhouses, train stations, and banks. As a result, Hotels.com has seen a surge in searches for these types of stays.
The emerging trend of ‘Hotel Hop’ is being driven by two thirds of British millennial travellers who are making every trip count by booking multiple hotels within a single destination. This is fuelled by a desire to explore different neighbourhoods (58%) and keep trips varied (52%).
Expedia has also unveiled its 2026 Destinations of the Year list, based on real-time data from millions of daily visitors to its site and app. Six of these hotspots meet the criteria for the brand’s new Smart Travel Health Check , a first-in-travel framework, inspired by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).
It acknowledges destinations that strive to provide meaningful travel experiences whilst proactively managing tourism in a sustainable manner. The leading locations featured Big Sky in Montana, USA, Okinawa in Japan, Hobart in Australia and Savoie in France, which has witnessed a 51% surge in searches.
Ariane Gorin, CEO of Expedia Group, said: “Some of my most unforgettable travel moments come from immersing myself in local cultures, supporting local economies, and exploring less-travelled destinations.
“We have a responsibility to shape the future of travel: one that’s smarter, more sustainable, and deeply respectful of the places we go.”
Christopher Imbsen, vice president policy at WTTC, added: “Expedia’s Smart Travel Health Check is an innovative initiative that reflects the urgent need to embrace responsible growth models that safeguard communities, protect cultural and natural heritage, and ensure the long-term resilience of destinations.”
Research carried out on behalf of the Vrbo division of the firm discovered that trips in 2026 are driven by 91% who are pursuing breaks centred on reading, relaxation, and precious time with family.
As #BookTok continues to rule social media, fascination with literary-themed journeys – ‘Readaways’ – is also soaring, with Pinterest searches for “book club retreat ideas” climbing 265%. And reading-related phrases in the holiday rental firm’s guest reviews have almost trebled.
The ‘slow travel’ trend is on the rise, with a whopping 84% of holidaymakers keen to stay on or near a farm. Meanwhile, ‘Set-Jetting’, travelling to locations inspired by TV shows and films, is making a big comeback.
While we’re still waiting for official confirmation of The White Lotus’s next filming location in France, the 2026 Set-Jetting Forecast has unveiled the next hotspots for film-inspired getaways – including Tuscany, Italy, brought to life by Jay Kelly, and Yorkshire, made famous by Wuthering Heights and Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale.
Here are the top holiday trends for 2026:
Fan Voyage (Expedia) – Mixing travel with unique sporting activities
Salvaged Stays (Hotels.com) – Seeking out hotels with distinctive architecture but modern amenities
Hotel Hop (Hotels.com) – Holidays featuring more than one accommodation venue
Readaways (Vrbo) – Breaks based on reading-related themes like ‘reading retreat’
Farm Charm (Vrbo) – Holidays centred around terms like ‘farm’ or ‘homestead’ for a cosy escape
Set-Jetting Forecast (Expedia) – Holidays inspired by TV shows and films
British vloggers Dan Howell and Phil Lester — known for their gaming and comedic slice-of-life style videos — are taking ownership of their long-rumored romance after more than a decade of incessant fan “shipping” online.
The longtime collaborators revealed Monday that they have been dating for more than a decade, pretty much since they gained popularity in the late aughts. The YouTubers confirmed they have been an item in a 46-minute video titled “Are Dan and Phil in a Relationship?”
“We fell into it hard and fast in 2009,” Howell, 34, said. “And here we are almost 16 years later.”
Before Howell and Lester, 38, spoke about the origins of their couple-dom, the YouTubers— who both came outas gay in 2019 — talked extensively about why they waited go public with their relationship. First, they tackled some fans’ obsessive behavior.
Howell and Lester began appearing in each other’s YouTube videos in the late aughts and eventually, in 2014, launched their shared gaming channel — that page currently boasts 2.95 million subscribers. The pair documented their lives together, opening the door for fans to speculate on their relationship and foster a parasocial connection, Howell explained in the video. Among the most prominent internet personalities at the time, Howell and Lester often became the subject of fan fiction and fan edits on Tumblr.
“Some think that shipping real-life people is problematic. I think that humans cannot stop this natural tendency,” Howell said, later adding that “a line gets crossed” when fan speculation turns into investigation.
The pair recalled fans combing through their old social media posts, reaching out to their loved ones and filming them out in the real world. “If all this digging, investigating was small it could’ve been ignored,” Lester said.
“The problem is this became so big we could not ignore it,” Howell continued.
Howell and Lester also recalled fans dissecting their on-camera interactions and spreading the romance rumors during live events. Ultimately, the rumors became “too loud to ignore,” Lester said.
Howell said he was wary about how going public with Lester would impact their professional dynamic and spoke candidly about how his struggles with his sexuality affected their relationship.
“I had an extremely homophobic childhood,” Howell said, adding that the constant fan pressure to address the rumors took a toll on his mental health. He said that when he and Lester gained popularity he felt he “had to hide the relationship because I was still hiding who I was to my friends, family, myself.”
Online chatter didn’t help and “hit a nerve,” he said. Howell said Lester was “like a literal ray of light in my life back then” and committed to protecting their relationship.
“So when other people tried to grab it and drag it into the light, I felt completely violated,” Howell continued. “Having all of these people trying to out us and being so hostile to me when I tried to hide it was so triggering. Honestly, it could’ve killed me.”
Lester added: “It’s sad because those should’ve been the happiest times of our life. It was so amazing and we were having so much fun personally.”
Invasive fan behavior hung over their success “like a curse” and that led to anxiety and panic attacks, Howell said. Lester also recalled a “breaking point” in their relationship where a personal video leaked on YouTube and spread online, with re-posters refusing to take it down.
As they acknowledged the negative impact of some fans’ invasive behavior, the YouTubers said they don’t hold a grudge. Howell said the skeptics “were just young people that had absolutely no idea what the effects of their actions were.”
“In the same way that we all want people in our lives to give us patience and grace and benefit of the doubt if we ever make a mistake, I have to extend that to the world in regards to this story,” he added. “So I understand and I forgive.”
Howell and Lester, whose work also includes BBC Radio programming and several live tours, ended their video announcing the launch of a new podcast.

Detective Chief Inspector Mark Cranwell told a court today that when Ms Wandelt’s DNA was compared with Maddie’s the results were clear.
When asked what they proved, Cranwell replied: “A comparison took place and it conclusively proved that Julia Wandelt is not Madeleine McCann.”
The trial over Ms Wandelt’s alleged stalking of the McCann’s is ongoing as a court heard this month she is said to have bombarded Kate and Gerry with calls, letters and messages over almost three years.
Leicester crown court was played clips she left after she got the family’s phone number from Portuguese police records.
In one, Polish national Wandelt, 24, tells Kate: “I know you probably think Madeleine is dead, but she is not. I am her.”

So far ITV2 viewers have said goodbye to Emily Hewertson, who was in the house for a few hours, and Gani Khan, who became the second housemate to be evicted last Friday.
And earlier this week, ITV bosses made the decision to axe George following “inappropriate behaviour and language”.
But now Big Brother has decided to bring back not one but TWO former housemates to shake things up.
After Cameron’s eviction, Will told viewers: “Now it’s finally time to reveal next week’s game-changing twist.”
AJ said: “Next Friday, two more late arrivals will go into the Big Brother house and they’re not just any late arrivals.”
Will explained: “Two former housemates who may have gone too soon will be going back through those doors.
“So make sure you watch tonight’s Big Brother Late and Live because we’re going to have all the info.”
Kicking things off on the after show, Will said: “What a night we’ve had so far. Three housemates face eviction and two former housemates are going back in next week.”
Big Brother fans raced to Twitter with their predictions.
One wrote: “EMILY AND GANI RETURN?!!!”
Big Brother’s fourth evicted housemate revealed just days after George’s shock exit
A second posted: “My theory on the bigggg twist is 4 out 4 in like in Timebomb series of Big Brother where one of Emily or Gani return.”
The 25-year-old Bolton lad Cameron B entered the House on Day Two, alongside three other newcomers.
Axed star George Gilbert, 23, had also been on the chopping block before his shock exit.
Sources told The Sun that George left his co-stars horrified after making offensive comments which could be interpreted as antisemitic and was immediately called to the Diary Room and ejected from the house.
“Everyone was absolutely disgusted,” an insider said.
“Nobody could believe what he said – he was clearly out to shock people.”
Since leaving the house, George has said: “As a flag bearer of freedom of speech I never hesitate to discuss and question any topic regardless of how contentious it may be.
“Sadly, the boundaries of what is deemed offensive are subjective and I evidently went too far this time by crossing their line one too many times.”
He added: “It is a shame that specific debate could not be had and that it has had to end like this.
Travel firm Byway has mapped out a route to the Canaries solely by train and ferry. It takes 17 days and costs a pretty penny, but the journey takes passengers through some stunning parts of France and Spain at a leisurely pace

Travel insiders have revealed how to get to the Canary Islands without taking a flight.
The Spanish island chain is one of the most popular destinations for British holidaymakers. In 2024, approximately 6.3 million British visitors traveled to the Canary Islands, making them the UK’s most significant tourism market and accounting for over 40% of international arrivals.
And for good reason. The islands’ location off the northwest coast of Africa means they enjoy incredible year-round weather. The sun is almost always shining, and the landscape is a rich, dramatic mix of woodland, beaches, and mountains.
Those who try to limit the amount they fly or simply enjoy traveling a little more slowly may be surprised to hear that it’s possible to get from the UK to the Canary Islands without taking to the air.
Byway has mapped out a route to the Canaries solely by train and ferry:
London to Paris via train: Journey time: 2 hrs 21 mins Take the Eurostar from London St Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord. Relax with a drink and a good book or film as you watch the British fields turn into the French countryside from your carriage window.
Paris to Nîmes via train: Journey time: 3 hrs 5 mins Take the train directly from Paris Gare de Lyon to Nîmes. Enjoy views of rolling French countryside as you make the journey south. Home to some of the best-preserved Roman monuments in the world, Nîmes is often dubbed “the most Roman city outside of Italy.” Wander the picturesque streets before sitting down for a drink in one of the city’s beautiful squares.
Visit Les Arènes, a twin-tiered amphitheatre which is the best preserved of its kind in France. Over 2,000 years old, the arena once seated 24,000 spectators. Grab an audio guide to provide you with context as you explore the arena before viewing replicas of gladiators’ armour in the museum. Stay one night.
Nîmes to Madrid via train: Journey time: 6 hrs 50 mins Spain’s capital, Madrid, sits strategically at the centre of Iberia and is home to Europe’s largest palace, sprawling city parks, and a wealth of world-renowned museums and galleries. As the sun sets, the lively paseo weaves its way through the streets, and the city keeps going until sunrise. Stay two nights.
Madrid to Cádiz via train: Journey time: 4 hrs 37 mins Cádiz is an Andalusian port city surrounded almost entirely by water. The city is a maze of cobbled streets with Roman ruins and a thriving local food scene. Stay one night.
Cádiz to Arrecife via ferry: Journey time: from 12:30 pm to 4pm the following day Arrecife, the capital of Lanzarote, combines maritime destination charm with a laid-back island spirit. Stroll along its palm-lined promenades and golden beaches before discovering the lively harbour, historic fortresses, and colourful markets. At night, the waterfront comes alive with tapas bars and ocean views.
Byway offers the route as a package, which also includes the return journey, which takes roughly the same amount of time. The trip does cost just shy of £3,000, however, for that price, all travel is included along with accommodation for the duration of the 17 day trip.
Emmerdale’s Ryan Hawley and Danny Miller told The Mirror there’s ‘explosive’ twists to come for Robron on the ITV soap with the arrival of Robert Sugden’s secret husband Kev

With a reunion confirmed for Emmerdale‘s Robron, it seems there’s still the challenge of Robert Sugden’s secret husband Kev to deal with.
Wednesday night’s episode saw Robert and his soulmate Aaron Dingle finally reunite onscreen, agreeing to give their love another chance. They decided to keep it between them for now, but of course this isn’t the only secret Robert’s hiding.
We met his secret husband Kev this week, and now The Mirror can reveal the character will be back in the village soon – and fans should expect explosive twists and turns. With a new love triangle of sorts in true soap fashion, Robert is left torn over keeping things on track with Aaron, and making Kev happy in his final months following the bombshell that he is dying.
Soon enough, it becomes clear Kev will cause problems for Robert and his relationship with Aaron. Robert actor Ryan Hawley told us: “It would be boring if true love ran smoothly in a soap wouldn’t it?
“Poor Robert is going to have this huge dilemma and it’s a stressful time for him. He’s come back to the village to try to stop a marriage and now there is this other guy who is dying.
“When Aaron finds out Robert has a husband, it’s going to be explosive. But all is not what it seems and Kev is volatile, broken, damaged and he creates so many problems for Robert and Aaron.”
Aaron actor Danny Miller dubbed Kev an “endearing psychopath”, as he mocked the likeness to Aaron’s killer husband John Sugden. He told us: “It’s a new way of actually highlighting how Aaron and Robert do think the same – they have both found psychopaths separately in their lives who have both come in between them to really test their love and passion.
“Chris is brilliant as Kev and he’s a great addition.” Ryan agreed: “He has such a lot of experience. It’s great to be working with him and Danny together.”
But Ryan did share hope for Robron, with he and Danny thrilled to see the pair back together again. He shared: “All the obstacles are out the way and Robert and Aaron are free to be back together. They agree to keep it a secret because they don’t want the distraction of other people’s opinions – after all, Aaron has just found out his husband is a serial killer, he’s out of a coma and his husband is on the run.
“It’s time to move on! The fact it is so soon and he is jumping in with Robert doesn’t matter to them. They think it is best for them.” As for whether Robron will ever walk down the aisle again, the truth is something not even the actors know.
Both agree it would, however, be the perfect icing on the cake if they did. “Hopefully one day, they will be able to be out in the open and honest with everyone,” said Danny. “But we will just have to wait and see!”
Manchester City captain Bernardo Silva says he knows “exactly” what he is going to do when his contract ends, but “now is not the right time to talk about it”.
The 31-year-old midfielder, whose deal expires at the end of the season, said it is a “big honour and responsibility” to wear the armband.
The Portugal midfielder, in his ninth season with City, has been linked with a move, with reported interest from Juventus and Benfica this month.
Silva has won every major trophy with City, including the Champions League and seven Premier League titles.
He was linked with a move away earlier this year, but opted to stay.
“I know exactly what I’m going to do but it’s not the time to focus on it,” he said.
“It’s to do my best, to put the club back to where it belongs. We’ve had a lot of captains who’ve left but it’s for the guys who have the most experience to pass it on to the young guys.”
Silva was speaking in a pre-match news conference before he faces his former club Monaco in the Champions League on Wednesday (20:00 BST).
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, asked about what Silva brings to the team, said “he cannot do better as a captain”.
Silva succeeded Kevin de Bruyne in wearing the armband after the Belgian left in the summer before joining Napoli on a free transfer.
“He is one of the best in training. He is an extraordinary player – so intelligent and smart. He can play in so many positions. We’re really happy to have him,” Guardiola said of Silva.
The beloved Gogglebox family have been on the show since the very first series – but there’s one member who doesn’t often feature

Gogglebox Siddiqui family reveal rarely-seen member and fans all say same thing (Image: Channel 4)
Gogglebox fans have been thrilled after a seldom-seen member of the Siddiqui household made a surprise appearance in a social media clip.
The cherished family became part of the inaugural series of the Channel 4 programme back in 2013, featuring Baasit alongside his two siblings, Umar and Raza, plus their dad Sid. However, mum Nasreen has remained absent from the show.
It’s safe to say the Derby-based Siddiqui clan quickly established themselves as viewer favourites. Throughout the years, the family have left audiences in hysterics with their witty remarks and amusing reactions to television moments.
Recently, Sid posted a video on the family’s Instagram account. Yet it was an infrequently-spotted member appearing with Sid that sparked considerable discussion, reports the Manchester Evening News.
During the footage, Sid encouraged supporters to watch the fresh Gogglebox instalment and was joined by the household’s adored feline Rocky. He informed watchers: “You’ll see me and him [the cat].”
Within the comments area, supporters were effusive about Rocky’s cameo. One individual commented: “Love you and your family and Rocky!” Someone else contributed: “Aw Rocky.” A third person remarked: “Love Rocky and your family.”
Content cannot be displayed without consent
Meanwhile in other Gogglebox developments, Baasit recently marked his birthday, prompting his spouse Mel to post a touching tribute. Mel, who is mother to Baasit’s two youngsters, used Instagram to publish a moving birthday message for her partner.
She wrote: “Happy birthday @baasit_siddiqui, Wishing you the most wonderful birthday, we all love you to the moon and back and are so proud of everything you do, Love you always xxx.”
She posted a photograph of him sporting a ‘Best. Daddy. Ever’ t-shirt, alongside some sweet family photographs.
Fans flocked to send their birthday wishes to Baasit, including fellow Gogglebox personality Tristan Daine Plummer, who features on Gogglebox alongside his brothers.
“Happy birthday poppet xxx all the way from Hilton,” one wrote, as another said: “Have a fantastic day.” A third echoed: “Happy birthday mate, hope you have a great day!”
United States President Donald Trump’s administration has announced new restrictions on media outlets’ reporting of the country’s military, including a requirement that journalists pledge not to publish unauthorised information.
Under the new rules unveiled by the Department of War, previously the Department of Defense, reporters could lose their credentials to cover the military if they refused to sign a pledge agreeing to only disclose approved information.

list of 4 itemsend of list
The rules, contained in a memo published by The New York Times following its circulation among media outlets on Friday, stipulate that information must be approved for release by “an appropriate authorising official before it is released, even if it is unclassified”.
The measures also limit the movements of journalists within the Arlington, Virginia-based Pentagon building itself, designating much of the facility off-limits without an escort.
“The ‘press’ does not run the Pentagon – the people do,” Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said in a post on X following a report about the changes.
“The press is no longer allowed to roam the halls of a secure facility. Wear a badge and follow the rules – or go home.”
Mike Balsamo, the president of the National Press Club, blasted the changes as an attack on independent journalism “at the very place where independent scrutiny matters most”.
“If the news about our military must first be approved by the government, then the public is no longer getting independent reporting. It is getting only what officials want them to see. That should alarm every American,” Balsamo said in a statement.
“Independent reporting on the military is essential to democracy. It is what allows citizens to hold leaders accountable and ensures that decisions of war and peace are made in the light of day.”
Multiple media organisations, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and the Reuters news agency, joined in the condemnation of the restrictions.
Seth Stern, director of advocacy at the Freedom of the Press Foundation, said that decades of US Supreme Court precedent affirmed the right of the media to publish government secrets.
“That is essentially the job description of an investigative journalist. The law is also clear that the government can’t require people to contract away a constitutional right, like the right to obtain and publish secrets, in exchange for a benefit, like access to government buildings or press credentials,” Stern told Al Jazeera.
“This policy operates as a prior restraint on publication, which is considered the most serious of First Amendment violations. As we learned in the Pentagon Papers case, the government cannot prohibit journalists from public information merely by claiming it’s a secret or even a national security threat.”
The Pentagon Papers case, aka the New York Times Co. v. United States, refers to a 1971 ruling by the Supreme Court that affirmed the freedom of the press by allowing The New York Times and The Washington Post to publish classified documents detailing the history of US involvement in the Vietnam War.
The Trump administration’s new restrictions are the latest in a series of moves by the US government to curtail the media.
On Wednesday, the ABC announced that it had suspended Jimmy Kimmel’s long-running talk show after the head of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) threatened regulatory action over remarks the host made about the assassination of the conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
FCC chair Brendan Carr has signalled that further action to rein in voices critical of the administration could be on the way.
In an interview with Fox News on Thursday, Carr, a Trump appointee, said that his agency would continue to hold broadcasters “accountable to the public interest”, and that those who did not like that could “turn their licence in”.
Days before Kimmel’s suspension, Trump filed a $15bn lawsuit accusing The New York Times of defamation, following similar suits against CBS News, ABC News and The Wall Street Journal.
On Friday, a judge in Florida threw out the suit against The New York Times, finding that the complaint relied on “tendentious arguments” and contained “repetitive” and “laudatory” praise of Trump that was not relevant to the case.

Their relationship blossomed off-screen, with the duo beginning to officially date in 2018.
They got engaged three years later and now share a son and a daughter – Mia, five, and son Thiago, two.
After years of being engaged, Gemma has revealed why the couple have been waiting so long to walk down the aisle – and why they plan to wait even longer.

In an interview Gemma said: “We’ve toyed about doing it in Spain so his [Gorka’s] family can come.
“We’ve even thought about doing it in a registry office or a hotel in Manchester, just the two of us, and then have a big party after.”
But what the lovebirds have settled on couldn’t be sweeter or more thoughtful.
“I think now we want to wait until Thiago is a bit older, so maybe next year or the year after, as he’s only two.
“If he’s a bit older, he could be involved in it, which would be really nice.”
Back in 2022 Gemma announced that herself and Gorka had to postpone their previously-planned wedding.

The cancellation came about due to incredibly busy schedules on both ends, with Gorka busy as a professional dancer and Gemma as a radio host.
The pair were also wishing to prioritise trying for another baby instead of splashing out on a lavish event.
The wedding update comes only months after Gemma and Gorka found out that their reality TV show Gemma and Gorka: Life Behind The Lens had not been renewed for a third season on Apple TV.
It was devastating news for the couple, as the show had performed really well.

Tributes poured in for the couple
Cops immediately launched an investigation into the deaths and tests later concluded both died of methanol poisoning, believed to be linked to the tainted limoncello, according to Vietnamese police.
The barman who allegedly made the deadly drink was charged in February and remains detained while investigations continue.
Greta’s parents Paul, 71, and Susan, 70, visited the pair in Vietnam in November 24 – where they had been running a villa and renting rooms out to travellers.
During their stay, they ate at Good Morning Vietnam and enjoyed free shots of Limoncello at the end of their meal.
When they returned home, they decided to order a few bottles of the drink and have them delivered to the couple’s home as a Christmas gift – a decision they would later regret for the rest of their lives.
It was not long before Greta messaged her parents complaining she had the “worst hangover ever” and was suffering from “black spots” in her vision.
The couple reportedly tried to “sleep it off” instead of going to the doctors despite being urged to by pals.
They were found dead three days later in separate rooms of the villa by a cleaner.
The family said the wait for answers has been “unbearable”.
They have received no further update from police nor an apology from the restaurant.

Paul told the BBC: “It’s about accountability”, adding “we can’t move on”.
Greta and Arno’s ashes are currently stored in two bags in the Ottesons’ home in Rhandirmwyn, Carmarthenshire – one has a pink bunny on top of it, the other a blue bear.
Parents, Paul and Susan, heartbreakingly revealed they can’t face laying them to rest until they have “received justice”.
They said: “Justice for us would be naming the people responsible and prosecuting them.”
TOXIC DRINK
The pair are said to have gone out for dinner on December 24, before returning back to the holiday villa which they own at around 10pm.
Two bottles of limoncello were waiting for them at the reception desk after being delivered earlier in the night by a different restaurant.
The business is said to be popular in the area and a photo of their menu online shows they offer the lemon liqueur at a cheap price.
They advertise a shot as costing 85,000 Vietnamese dong (£2.70) and, according to the menu, it is homemade.
It is unclear how methanol could have been inside the drinks.
The highly toxic industrial chemical is found in antifreeze and windscreen-washer fluid but also appears in some home-brewed or counterfeit alcohol.
HEARTBREAKING TRIBUTES
Greta and Arno Els Quinton passed away less than a month after the pair got engaged.
They had moved to Vietnam together and settled in Hoi An.
The happy couple had taken out a lease out on the gorgeous red-roofed Silverbell Villa where they were later found dead.
It featured a nine-bedroom guesthouse with a swimming pool and sat just ten minutes from Hoi An Ancient Town – a Unesco World Heritage site.
A heartfelt Instagram post on December 3, saw the pair officially announce their engagement to the world.
Days after their bodies were discovered the pair were featured in a touching engagement video posted to YouTube.
A filming studio posted a montage they had made of the pair to celebrate their marriage.
The video shows Greta and Arno, wearing white, dancing, walking hand-in-hand, and expressing the love they shared.
