Omar has come under fire this week with Big Brother fans after they previously hit out at uncomfortable scenes

A Big Brother housemate has been issued a warning after fans slammed their recent behaviour.

Omar has come under fire with fans lately regarding his negative comments and behaviour towards Rhianna. The two have been growing closer since the start of the show, also admitting their love for one another.

Big Brother previously issued a statement in response to recent calls from a number of fans who called for Omar to be removed from the house. It came after this week saw the two hitting rocky ground with Rihanna describing them like a ‘divorced couple’.

The pair seemed to break off their relationship but at one point Omar went over to her, lowered his head and told her to stop talking about him before leaving the room.

It comes after previous comments from Omar about him not teaching his co-star “how to respect a man”. But amidst the backlash, Big Brother issued Omar with a warning in tonight’s episode (October 21).

Being called to the Diary Room, Big Brother told Omar: “At times it feels you are dismissive about your housemates’ experiences.” They later added that Omar’s language used “on more than one occasion could cause offence to housemates or the fellow public.”

However, Omar hit out at the warning, adding: “I fully understand… I’ve never dismissed housemates feelings in all honesty.” He later said that he didn’t dismiss feelings but rather tell them the truth.

He replied: “Let’s be honest here we’re not talking about housemates, we’re talking about me and Rhianna.” He then continued to say he had done “nothing but look out for her and care for her” before going on to say: “Like I said, I’ve acknowledged my housemates feelings.”

Big Brother replied: “You must always be mindful of the impact your language and behaviour can have on others.”

Later, speaking to Rhianna, Omar said: “Have I ever controlled you in any way, or limited you in any way?” Rhianna said: “I am my own person, no-one can control me. I don’t feel controlled by you.”

Viewers at home expressed their frustrations as one person wrote on X: “Big Brother please boot Omar out, he’s not even giving a f*** about Rhianna’s feelings.”

Another fumed: “This is deeply uncomfortable to watch. Rhianna needs to get far away from Omar as soon as this show’s over.” A third added: “Omar tryna save himself lol, he’s finished.”

It comes after Women’s Aid issued a statement on Instagram, alleging the reality star of displaying controlling behaviour in the house. They wrote: “We’re seeing coercive and controlling behaviours being given a platform in popular media like Big Brother. We’ve been contacted by many viewers who have expressed concern. Not only does Big Brother risk minimising survivors’ experiences, it also risks presenting abuse as a form of entertainment.

“Producers should understand their responsibility to keep contestants emotionally and physically safe. The women in these programmes are real people and need real support. We continue to urge television companies such as ITV to engage with experts like Women’s Aid to understand the nature of abuse and how they can do better to protect contestants.”

However, Big Brother released a statement confirming all housemates “receive Respect and Inclusion training and an extensive briefing from the Big Brother Senior team to prepare them for living in the House and to set out Big Brother’s expectations for appropriate behaviour and language”.

Big Brother continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

Omar’s actions towards Rhianna in the Big Brother house drew over 7,000 Ofcom complaints, with Refuge joining Women’s Aid in releasing a statement.

The fallout from Monday evening’s Big Brother continues after fans were left disgusted with Omar’s behaviour towards Rhianna.

The pair, who have became an item in the famous ITV house, had an altercation and viewers were fuming with the way he spoke to her. He was filmed sternly telling her not to talk about him and saying: “Your feelings aren’t fact unfortunately.”

They appeared to have made up on Tuesday. Nonetheless, more than 7,000 people sent in their complaints to Ofcom and now the charity Refuge has also shared concerns about the show.

A statement for the charity, which supports sufferers of domestic abuse, said: “Refuge is deeply concerned by the behaviours witnessed during the current series of Big Brother. Media outlets have a responsibility to prioritise participant welfare and to ensure that harmful behaviour is identified and addressed appropriately.

“Broadcasters must also actively choose not to amplify individuals displaying abusive behaviour. At a time when one in four women will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime, it is vital that public platforms do not contribute to the normalisation of abusive attitudes or behaviours.

“Every survivor deserves to be heard, believed, and protected – both on television and in their everyday lives. Refuge stands in solidarity with all survivors of domestic abuse and calls for media companies to be held accountable for the safety and wellbeing of contestants.”

The charity concluded: “We call on all broadcasters, producers and media organisations to use their platforms responsibly, placing safety, dignity and accountability at the heart of their decision-making.”

ITV issued a statement of their own following the uneasy scenes. They said: “All Housemates receive Respect and Inclusion training and an extensive briefing from the Big Brother Senior team to prepare them for living in the House and to set out Big Brother’s expectations for appropriate behaviour and language.

“Housemates are monitored 24 hours a day and any instances of inappropriate behaviour are responded to appropriately. Welfare and safeguarding are prioritised throughout the production, with a dedicated welfare team available to support Housemates before, during and after their time in the House.”

Women’s Aid also said on Instagram: “We’re seeing coercive and controlling behaviours being given a platform in popular media like Big Brother. We’ve been contacted by many viewers who have expressed concern. Not only does Big Brother risk minimising survivors’ experiences, it also risks presenting abuse as a form of entertainment.

“Producers should understand their responsibility to keep contestants emotionally and physically safe. The women in these programmes are real people and need real support. We continue to urge television companies such as ITV to engage with experts like Women’s Aid to understand the nature of abuse and how they can do better to protect contestants.”

The issue arose as viewers watched on as an upset Rhianna looked to end the duo’s relationship. She questioned his maturity in conversation and was later called to the Diary Room.

She was asked by Big Brother if she was okay and she told them: “I’m not that good but I’ll be fine. Obviously me and Omar have not been good over the last few days and sometimes I don’t like the way he speaks to me.”

She added: “I wouldn’t let a boy speak to me like that outside of here so why am I letting him speak to me like that… If it keeps going in circles, we can just be friends.”

I’m A Celeb star Dean McCulloch, a regular guest on Big Brother companion shows, said: “Omar needs to be removed from the house with immediate effect.”

The Big Brother star was in the running to win the show.

ITV Big Brother fans have admitted that one star has “fumbled” their potential win in a matter of minutes. Tensions continue to run high in the iconic house as the housemates live in this week’s House of Time.

Just last night (October 20), a game changing nominations twist saw four housemates up for eviction. This week will see Catrin, Twinks, Harry and Sam facing the public vote as viewers are being asked to choose who they wish to evict.

It comes after the housemates each took a turn in the Time Zone where they nominated as usual. But with four names in the zone, each housemate afterwards had the opportunity to swap two of those names – with the last person ultimately having the final say.

But amongst the drama, it was Yasmin who came under fire with fans after her nomination choices. As a result, she is now no longer favourite to win, according to latest betting odds.

According to Coral’s John Hill, despite being up for eviction, Twinks is actually the new favourite to win, with odds sitting at 5/4. Yasmin has drifted from 4/5 odds to now 7/4.

John Hill said: “Twinks is the safest of the four housemates, according to our odds. She is also the new favourite to win the show, with Yasmin’s odds drifting over the last couple of days.”

Viewers have shared their disappointment with the star as one person wrote on X: “Yasmin is fumbling this win those cheers got to her head.” Another said: “Yasmin literally took away the win in one episode last night”, as a third fumed that the star had gone “from the people’s princess”, adding: “That is crazy.”

A fourth added: “Even since Yasmin heard the cheers on Friday night she now thinks she is untouchable. Get rid of her.” A fifth raged: “Yasmin really plummeted her own stock, how embarrassing.”

However, one person defended: “Yasmin has one bad episode and people are acting like she murdered someone oh ok.”

Another said: “Yasmin does one thing you deem as wrong and you all turn on her and insult everything about her.”

Of course, betting odds are not guaranteed to happen, the power is still in the public’s hand as they have the power of the vote. But with hours to go until the next live eviction on Friday, one star has been dealt a brutal blow.

Currently, Sam is favourite to go with odds sitting at 4/5 compared to Frankie’s odds at 3/1. Twinks’ odds sit at 8/1. Coral’s John Hill added: “This is the toughest eviction to call so far in the series. Sam is the favourite to go, but Frankie and Catrin are both in danger, especially if Big Brother decides to throw in a double eviction.”

Big Brother fans were not happy and demanded one housemate be removed

Fans rushed to complain after the latest scenes described as ‘scary to watch’.

Big Brother has been hit with thousands of complaints to Ofcom after what viewers said were ‘disturbing’ scenes. The regulator has once again updated its weekly stats of those received between the dates of October 13 and October 19.

The number of complaints range from just dozens up to thousands. It means that one of the most recent instalments of ITV’s reality series has attracted the most ire from fans throughout the entire run of the current series.

That was following the episode which aired on ITV2 on October 19. This attracted a staggering 7,138 complaints. This is an extraordinary amount even compared to the episode which gained the second most complaints over the last week, which was October 18 which received 658.

Ofcom have confirmed that complaints on October 19 related to Omar’s behaviour towards Rhianna. Meanwhile those on October 18 were over alleged bullying behaviour by Philip.

Scenes involving Omar and Rihanna on Monday this week caused a big stir among viewers. The couple seemed to cool things off with their relationship while Rihanna at one point claimed Omar was ‘acting weird’.

Later Omar told Rihanna to stop talking about him with others. Afterwards, he had his own conversation with Lynx about Rihanna,.

Before bed, he invited Rihanna for a chat, claiming he ‘could not sleep on it’. In the store room Rihanna told him: “From eviction night, up until now I feel like you’ve been acting weird with me.”

She was eventually called to the Diary Room to check if she was OK. She said: “I’m not that good but I’ll be fine. Obviously me and Omar have not been good over the last few days and sometimes I don’t like the way he speaks to me.”

Fans were not pleased with what they saw. A thread on Big Brother UK subreddit saw several admit that they made a complaint to Ofcom.

One person said: “I’ve just put my complaint in. That was so disturbing and scary to watch.” Another added: “I’ve never made an ofcom complaint before but it feels so important to do something… if there’s any chance this can pressure BB production into removing Omar. . . So so dark.”

Big Brother also received 206 complaints over the most recent live eviction show, about the alleged bullying of Rob by Rochelle and Philip. 110 complaints were also made for the episode aired on October 13 over a range of issues including comments made by Rochelle about Yasmin’s weight, Omar’s behaviour towards Yasmin and Rhianna, and Lynx’s behaviour towards Rob.

Four Big Brother housemates will face the public vote this week

ITV Big Brother has revealed who will face the public vote this week.

Emotions have been running high in the iconic house in recent weeks, with personalities continuing to clash. Viewers have witnessed plenty of explosive rows and heated moments as the housemates live in the House of Time this week.

As part of the new theme though, another nominations twist has been introduced. Tonight’s (October 20) explosive episode saw the housemates take part in nominations in Big Brother’s Time Zone.

They each drew a number from a bag in secret to determine the order they could enter the Time Zone. The first housemate to enter was Philip and the final housemate was Rhianna, with the timing being important.

As the first housemate to enter, Philip had to choose four name disks to place on the nomination podiums and chose Catrin, Harry, Sam and Twinks. The remaining housemates took turns to enter the Time Zone and had the opportunity to swap up to two names on the nomination podiums but could not swap themselves.

Big Brother later revealed that Catrin, Harry, Sam and Twinks will be the next housemates to face the public vote ahead of Friday night’s live eviction, airing on ITV2 and ITVX. However, viewers were unimpressed with the line up as one person wrote on X: “I don’t know if I can watch this show any longer.” Another said: “This is an absolute joke.”

A third fumed: “Truly truly truly could not have gone worse, I feel sick to my STOMACH”, as a fourth added: “Four chances for a good nom selection and its still horrid.”

A fifth stated: “It just isn’t making a fun viewing experience.” A sixth viewer commented: “Boycott the vote! We refuse to vote!!!! We are done!!!” Another raged: “This line up is such a fix omg. I’ve had enough.”

Viewers were also quick to share who they would be voting for, and it’s not looking good for one housemate. One person wrote: “Harry is gonna go, but I still don’t think it’s fair.”

Another said: “So we’re all getting rid of Harry yeah?” A third added: “Voting for Harry to go”, as a fourth penned: “Well all my votes will be going to Harry.”

Voting for Friday’s eviction opens at 10:15pm tonight (Oct 20) with viewers being asked to vote for the housemate they wish to evict from the House.

Friday night (October 23) will see the next eviction from the Big Brother House and the evictee’s first live interview with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best, with fears already rising over a potential double eviction – though this is yet to be confirmed by ITV.

“The way that he has spoken about her and to her and the way he is treating her . . . should not be tolerated in any way shape or form. He needs to be made an example of. The way he leaned over her, spoke to her in her ear, the way he told her she needed to fix up, the way he said look at me…we’ve moved into a dark place and Rihanna needs to be protected.”

Tensions keep rising in the iconic house as housemates continue to clash

ITV Big Brother fans have issued the same complaint seconds in tonight’s explosive episode.

Tensions continue to bubble over in the iconic house as a clear divide causes frictions amongst the housemates. Just last night (October 18) saw Catrin left in tears after she expressed her frustrations over comments made behind people’s backs.

When Twinks mentioned there was a hierarchy in the house, things turned sour when Philip and Rochelle confronted the comments made. Twinks was also seen in tears as she admitted to Big Brother she was struggling in the house, with Philip admitting he was no longer going to talk to the newcomer.

The explosive scenes come after Rob’s live eviction on Friday, October 16 after he was voted the fifth housemate to leave the Big Brother house following a public vote.

Tonight’s episode brought yet more drama and chaos with just weeks to go until the final. However, just seconds in tonight’s instalment (October 19), viewers issued the same complaint when a preview was shown.

The episode had barely started when a preview hinted more drama to come, especially between Omar and Rhianna as they appeared to call time on their relationship.

Taking to social media, viewers threatened to switch off their television screens over the Rhianna and Omar-focussed episode, with many growing tired of their relationship. One person wrote: “An episode centred around the showmance? I might have to check out lol.”

Another said: “Cracks are definitely appearing between Omar and Rhianna”, as a third added: “The Omar Rihanna love story is so boring is that really the only thing that’s been happening the last few days?”

A fourth stated: “Not looking forward to this episode just knowing that Omar and Rhianna will have more than 5 seconds of airtime! Annoyed already!”

A fifth slammed: “Not another Omar and Rihanna edit please”, a sixth echoed: “Omar and Rihanna double eviction WHOS WITH ME.” One person stated: “Looks like this episode is about Omar and Rhianna.”

Viewers have previously commented that the pair are better suited apart as one person said: “Rhianna I love you dearly when will you finally be done with Omar.”

Taking to Instagram though, one viewer shared a reminder on this year’s cast, adding: “Reminder. It’s a TV show. No one’s been set up. They are willingly taking part in a show. You’re welcome.”

ITV viewers have issued the same complaint following the latest episode of Big Brother

Big Brother viewers have been left ‘devastated’ by recent scenes in the ITV show.

The reality competition returned to screens on Sunday night (October 18), thrusting viewers into the aftermath of Friday’s eviction. Radio presenter Rob was forced to leave the house after losing the public vote to his co-stars Yasmin and Twinks.

Following Rob’s sad exit, Big Brother has introduced this week’s big theme: The House of Time. In the coming days, each housemate will be taking part in tasks to win time with their loved ones.

But the exciting twist has been overshadowed by a huge row that broke out between housemates just minutes into the latest episode. It came after Catrin was left in tears over the divide among her co-stars, admitting she felt uncomfortable because housemates have secretly been “nasty about each other”.

“I feel so frustrated. I feel like there is such a clique. I just hate it,” she confided in Lynx. Her complaint soon made its rounds in the house, and sparked a heated row between Twinks and Philip.

After spotting Catrin’s low mood, Yasmin asked her co-stars: “Is she ok? She looked like she’d been crying.” Twinks then explained that the 23-year-old was struggling to adjust to the hierarchy in the house, implying that the so-called “King Philip and Queen Rochelle” are key players in the housemates’ divide.

She said: “Yeah she is. She’s struggling with the dynamics of the house. Big time. It’s getting to her a lot. She’s a sensitive, stunning, little soul and the whole us and them, the whole hierarchy of this spot. Let’s not pretend this isn’t a thing.”

Tensions reached boiling point when Rhianna reported the conversation to Philip, who wasted no time before confronting Twinks. Storming into the lounge, he fumed: “Twinks. Who is the highest person in here?”

Twinks defended herself and replied: “You are.” After some back-and-forth, Philip then hit back with: “Keep your f***** mouth shut.” In another scene, the 53-year-old vented his frustrations with Twinks to his close friends and brutally referred to her as a “c***”.

The row proved too much for Twinks as she was left contemplating quitting the show altogether. Confiding in Big Brother, Twinks revealed that she felt “hideous” after her spat with Philip. “I am so unwelcome in this place,” she said as she tried to fight back tears.

She added: “Why would I put myself through this? It doesn’t feel nice. ‘Grow thick skin, it’s the big Brother house.’ Maybe I don’t want a thick skin, maybe I had to have a thick skin growing up and I’ve spent the last 15 years trying to feel soft and feel things.

“It’s not nice, they’re not nice people. I really genuinely feel like Cat would have such a better chance if I wasn’t here. She’s such a sweet, kind, and empathetic person.”

Viewers at home were left ‘devastated’ as they watched Twinks and Catrin crying over the divide among the contestants, with many calling for Big Brother to take some form of action to resolve tensions in the house.

It’s that time of year again when, in the build-up to Christmas, Ant and Dec’s reality TV juggernaut I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! dominates the nightly schedules.

AJ is currently fronting Big Brother with Will Best but, like her co-host, currently competing on Strictly Come Dancing, she could also be about to become a contestant on one of the nation’s biggest reality shows.

A source said: “She’s had early conversations about taking part and has made it clear she can absolutely make the dates they need her to.”

Jesy Nelson

Best known as part of Little Mix, Jesy, 35, last year gave birth to their twin daughters Ocean and Story. both born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) type 1.

She successfully lobbied the government and joined forces with the Mirror to campaign to have all newborns tested for spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) when her twin girls were diagnosed too late after irreversible nerve damage.

Speaking to The Sun, a source said: “Continuing to raise awareness around SMA for her girls is something Jesy is very keen to do, and she knows she can use a platform like I’m A Celebrity to reach millions.”

Ade Adepitan

Paralympian Ade, 53, could be the first star in a wheelchair to enter the jungle. A couple of months ago, it was reported that he could be about to head into the jungle, with show bosses working to ensure the camp is adapted to accommodate him.

Nadiya Bychkova

Along with Luba Mushtuk, Karen Hauer, and Michelle Tsiakkas, Nadyia fell victim to the so-called Strictly Come Dancing bloodbath last year after serving as a professional for a number of series.

It was said at the time that TV offers had been “coming in thick and fast” for the star, and she had been “in talks” with show bosses for a turn in the I’m A Celeb jungle.

Olivia Attwood

Olivia Attwood has enjoyed quite the TV career since she shot to fame on Love Island in 2017. Over the last few years, she has become a Loose Women panellist and fronted a number of investigative documentaries for ITV2.

She first entered the jungle in 2022 but had to withdraw on medical grounds after just 24 hours. She has previously said she would be open to the idea of a return if she could fit it into her pack schedule.

Su-Elise Nash

Su-Elise could be about to become the second member of Mis-Teeq to enter the jungle, after her bandmate Sabrina Washington competed in 2009 and has apparently been in early talks with I’m A Celeb bosses, especially after the Scandalous hitmakers reunited at Capital Summertime Ball.

Ricky Wilson

Ricky Wilson is known for huge hits like Ruby and I Predict a Riot as part of the Kaiser Chiefs. The Sun previously reported that he had “always politely declined” the jungle before, but could now have changed his mind.

Ben Stokes

Legendary cricketer Ben announced his retirement from the sport earlier this year, and could just be about to head into the I’m A Celeb jungle a matter of months later. Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Ben Stokes could soon be swapping cricket for crickets, if the latest odds are anything to go by.”

Some Big Brother fans demanded another housemate be nominated for eviction after the task

It came after a ‘brutal’ task caused chaos.

Fans of Big Brother were left raging as they claim some housemates made the ‘worst choice ever’ with a killer nomination. It comes as the housemates were confronted with the final power game in their teams.

Rob chose Yasmin, Omar and Rhianna to represent the red team. Meanwhile, Samuel picked Rochelle, Catrin and himself to play on behalf of the blue team.

Housemates had to take it in turns to place a domino in a line on a beam. Once all 60 dominos were lined up, one player knocked down the first domino to trigger a run and win the game.

However, after having to restart, Yasmin said: “We’re actually f**ked.” Rihanna was displeased with Omar’s attempt at encouraging comments and told him: “Shut up Omar. Just one second, please.”

Back in the living area, Rob commented: “Please don’t start bickering.” Frankie said: “We’ve got a civil war going on now, falling apart.”

The blue team thought they had victory in their grasp but had to start the whole thing again. At one point, Sam quipped: “Guys are showing your true colours in this game.”

To which Yasmin responded: “Sam, is that not the game? It’s the rules.” And Catrin noted: “No, I think you’re just being quite bitter with it. Quite nasty, I’ll be honest.”

Amid rising tensions, Yasmin knocked over the other team’s dominos which meant that her team was disqualified and the blue team was named winner. The entire group was called to the Task Room and Big Brother revealed the prize.

He said: “Congratulations, you have won today’s power game… but you have not won power of the House. You have won the power of the vote… you are now in possession of a killer nomination.”

Harry replied: “That’s crazy.” Big Brother instructed: “You must now select one housemate from the opposite team to receive this killer nomination. Whichever housemate you select will automatically face the public vote this Friday.”

Lynx quickly tried to put Rob up for eviction again, repeating previous reasons for nomination about his singing. Omar was suggested by Samuel and Catrin because of comments he made to Yasmin and Rihanna during the dominos challenge.

The house seemed to descend into chaos as the blue team struggled to come to a decision. Ultimately Yasmin was chosen.

It did not take long for fans watching along at home to share their feelings about it. One posted on social media: “Worst possible outcome. Not our Yasmin.” While another replied: “How’s that happened? Like the worst choice.” Someone else commented: “This killer nomination has actually ruined my mood.”

Others demanded that Omar be nominated for eviction later in the week after his recent behaviour. This included his conversation with Samuel as he confronted him for calling his behaviour as ‘classeless’.

One person said: “I genuinely don’t think Omar knows what classless means… that whole conversation was embarrassing. I wish Sam had the confidence to challenge him.”

A viewer agreed: “Actually don’t think I can watch anymore till Omar is out. I feel like I’m losing the plot because he’s moving around like that and they’re all just saying he’s a sweet misunderstood little superstar.”

GK Barry and Kate Lawler have confirmed the next dramatic twist after the latest episode of Big Brother aired.

Fans believe they have already worked out the next housemate to be evicted after the presenters of ITV’s companion series The Group Chat confirmed the latest shake-up to nominations.

The current iteration of the show has seen a certain theme be imposed on the house. Following on from ‘the house of revelation’ it has now become ‘the house of power’.

It all began with the entrance of Gemma Collin s who spent a brief 48 hours among the housemates. Scenes shown during Monday night’s (October 12) saw Gemma spend her final day and make an abrupt exit.

Between this, the contestants were split into the red team and the blue team. Members of each side was picked by a captain picked by Gemma herself.

This saw the likes of Rob and Sam chosen to select who they wanted to team up with. Each had to then nominate someone over the last two days who should face a task.

Tonight, Twinks beat Lynx by building a tower of cards with four layers. It meant that the red team were treated to a pizza party with Gemma, while the blue team were left out. In addition, they were not permitted to sit on the sofas and could only shower for two minutes.

Following the main show, Kate Lawler and GK Barry interviewed Gemma and reflected on her stint back in the Big Brother house. They also eventually revealed this week’s twist to nominations.

Normal nominations will still take place but there could be an extra person up for the vote. GK Barry said: “Whoever wins this task as a group, they get to decide who is up for eviction.” Kate added: “The winning team is going to be in possession of a killer nomination.”

Big Brother fans were left stunned after spotting a never-before-seen house feature.

The show returned to screens last month for a brand new series, originally welcoming 16 contestants into the famous house. And it’s fair to say the show – hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best – has delivered on the drama.

Recently though, eagle-eyed ITV viewers had their jaws on the floor after they noticed one of the bathrooms has a “luxury toilet and bidet” inside of it.

Rushing over to X, fans shared their shock, with one person writing: “sorry, they have a massage toilet????” Another person penned: “All the budget went for the special toilet then.”

It comes after an argument took place inside the Big Brother house between an unlikely duo recently. The House of Power kicked off during Sunday’s (October 11) episode and it didn’t take long before a row broke out between Phillip and Rochelle.

Elsewhere in the episode, Big Brother shared the House of Power rules explaining: “Housemates, as you know, this week is all about the power. Soon, the house will be split into two teams. In your teams, you’ll take on a series of tasks. At stake – power in the house. “

Celebrity house guest Gemma then had pick two team captains, she chose Sam and Rob, and they then had to decide who they wanted on their teams in preparation for the head-to-head battles that lie ahead.

The winning team gets power of the house until the next game and are the only ones allowed to use the kettle, toaster, air fryer, hot tub and hair appliances.

The losing team must do all the cleaning, are only allowed two minutes in the shower each and aren’t allowed to sit on the sofa.

The new housemate has quickly become a frontrunner to win the ITV2 show

A Big Brother housemate looks almost unrecognisable in a snap taken before she found fame.

The ITV2 reality show originally welcomed 16 contestants into the famous house last month, but two new faces have just joined the chaos. East Londoner Twinks entered the house last Friday (October 2), alongside teaching assistant Catrin.

Fashion stylist Twinks has quickly become a fan favourite, although she struggled to bond with some of her co-stars straight away. She has quickly built a reputation for her eye-catching style and it seems to have started long before viewers met the reality star.

In a throwback snap shared by her close friend Louise O’Mahony, the Big Brother housemate is seen with pink hair, a far cry from her current blonde look.

The picture was posted by her fashion designer ‘best friend,’ whose designs have actually made it into the Big Brother house. Louise has revealed online that Twinks has been wearing outfits from her clothing brand on the show.

Louise also shared a sweet tribute about their friendship, writing on Instagram: “If you told me 13 years ago that Twinks would go into the BB house I honestly …wouldn’t be surprised.

“She has entered the Big Brother house as a new housemate of 2026!! Thank god frankly, because that house needs some sparkle and whimsy injected into it ASAP! Who better to bring the vibes back up than the Queen of charisma, curator of colour, the Party Princess!”

The heartfelt statement continued: “One of the last things she said to me was “I’ll do anything to make my friends laugh” well, here we are…Who knows what chaos might come in the next few weeks! Twinks was immune from nominations during her first week in the house, but housemates will be free to put her up for the public vote during the next nomination vote. She has so far been a popular with the likes of Rob, Harry, Pauline and Sam.

But she initially failed to win over Rochelle,57, and Philip,53, who were sceptical about the Londoner from the moment she walked into the house. And it seems Twinks already anticipated some tension with the “mature members of the house”.

Just before joining the show, she told ITV: “I’m apprehensive about meeting the more mature members of the house from what I’ve seen. We’ve got a lot of youngers in there and I tend to go into big sis, mummy mode with youngers. I’m surprised at the more mature members of the House.”

On the flip side, the 36-year-old knew who she would instantly click with. “I’m excited to meet Rob and Sam – I think that’s where you’ll find me. I’m a silly goose in high glam,” she said. “I really have no interest in talking shit behind people’s backs or being shouted at. I do not want to be shouted at. I just want to sing some show tunes!”

A divisive housemate has just been kicked out of the Big Brother house.

The ITV2 competition returned to screens tonight (October 9) for its hotly-anticipated live eviction. The housemates nominated face-to-face earlier this week, leaving carer Pauline and radio presenter Rob at risk of elimination.

Pauline, 31, had received five nominations from Lynx, Philip, Rhianna, Rochelle and Catrin. While 25-year-old Rob received six nominations from Frankie, Lynx, Omar, Philip, Rhianna and Yasmin.

This eviction marked Pauline’s third week being nominated for the public vote in just four weeks, and the Essex-based star was naturally upset to be facing the chopping block yet again. Her response to being nominated sparked a huge row in the house after newcomer Catrin broke down in tears because Pauline refused to speak to her after the face-to-face vote.

Tensions boiled over when Rochelle, 57, found the teaching assistant in tears and decided to confront Pauline. Their heated spat ended with Big Brother issuing a formal warning to Pauline for “unacceptable behaviour”. But has she managed to survive yet another eviction?

Big Brother viewers have spotted the same error just minutes into the latest episode of the ITV2 programme.

The reality competition returned to screens on Thursday night (October 8), with the housemates still residing in the House of Revelations. The twist is all about exposing secrets in the house, including housemates’ true feelings about each other.

Viewers were ready to tune into the next revealing challenge in tonight’s episode, but they were left distracted by Rochelle’s comment just minutes in. During a conversation with newcomer Twinks, the housewife earnestly asked: “Who was the feminist that ran in the streets, Betty Boop, or something?”

Rochelle went on to add: “She ran on the race course, didn’t she? And got run over.” The other housemates within earshot quickly jumped in to correct her but their replies weren’t especially helpful.

Twinks responded: “Betty Boop’s a cartoon with the big head,” before adding that “Emily Pankhurst” was the feminist who tragically died after being hit by King George V’s horse in 1913.

While Emmeline Pankhurst was the woman who fronted the British suffragette movement, she wasn’t the person who walked onto the race course. That was actually fellow suffragette Emily Davison.

Viewers quickly spotted Twinks’ error and gathered on social media correct her. One X user posted: “for the record, neither Betty Boop nor Emeline Pankhurst ran in front of the horse, it was Emily Davison #bbuk.” A second rightfully questioned: “Wasn’t it Emily Davidson, not Pankhurst who threw herself under the horse? #bbuk.”

Someone else said: “Eye is twitching at Emily Davison being referred to as both Betty Boop and Emmeline Pankhurst. Bless Twinks for incorrectly correcting Rochelle, Pankhurst was closer but they are different people my love #BBUK

While a third eagle-eyed fan chimed in with: “Slight ding for Twinks there. It was Emily Davison who ran in front of the race track horse at the Derby. Emmeline Pankhurst was the leader of the suffragettes. Know your history if you plan to educate! #BBUK”

But this small mishap is unlikely to sway public opinion on Twinks, who is currently the frontrunner to win the show according to recent odds.

Johanne has addressed Big Brother viewers for the first time since leaving the iconic house

A controversial Big Brother star has been flooded with support following their eviction.

Last week (October 2), Johanne Cade was the third Big Brother housemate to be evicted from the show after going head-to-head with Rochelle in the public vote. The pair had continued to clash and butt heads since the start of the show last month, with explosive rows often breaking out.

Viewers would take sides on who they believed was in the wrong at the time, with many complaints pouring in to Ofcom. Johanne herself was issued a formal warning from Big Brother after a particularly explosive row with Rochelle, in which Big Brother deemed her “tone and body language as unacceptable”.

But the star remains a talking point, as some viewers say she should return to the iconic house and that she should not have left in the first place. But despite her exit, the chaos and drama persist as tensions rise.

Nowadays, after leaving the show, Johanne has spoken out about her time in the iconic house as she is seen fighting back her tears in an emotional social media clip.

Taking to TikTok, Johanne shared a video captioned: “Still taking it all in. Thank you for loving me, laughing with me, and embracing every bit of JOHANNE.

“The love you’ve shown me means more than you know. Thank you for seeing me. P.S. This is my ONLY official page. Please report any fakes.”

In the clip, the star became emotional as she said: “I don’t want to cry, so I actually wrote this down so I can just say it in one take. To every single person who watched me, supported me, defended me, laughed with me, shouted at the TV because of me, voted for me and allowed me to be unapologetically Johanne, thank you.”

Fighting back tears, she added: “Walking into the Big Brother house was one of the craziest most incredible experiences of my life. I went in there determined to be myself. Loud, opinionated, emotional, glamourous, messy, funny and completely imperfect and I wouldn’t change a thing.”

Speaking about the “overwhelming support” after the show, Johanne then broke down in tears as she said: “It has meant more to me than you guys will ever know.

“I may have left the Big Brother house, but trust me, I am just getting started. There is so much more to come.” The Big Brother star then fought back tears as she admitted she “would not change a thing” and thanked her supporters once more.

The Big Brother housemate received a warning after displaying “unacceptable behaviour”

Big Brother viewers have said the same thing after a controversial housemate received a formal warning.

The ITV2 reality show has been packed with drama since it returned to our screens three weeks ago. Its latest clash came after the housemates were forced to nominate face-to-face as part of the Week of Revelations twist, which is all about exposing the contestants’ real opinions about each other.

Rob and Pauline ultimately received the most nominations and will face this week’s eviction. Newcomer Catrin was one of the stars who nominated Pauline, claiming the carer hasn’t made an effort to welcome her into the house. But her vote led to a heated argument between Rochelle and Pauline, where the latter pointed her finger and stepped towards Rochelle.

Big Brother has now issued a stern warning to Pauline. In Wednesday’s episode (October 7), he called the 31-year-old to the Diary Room. When asked how she was feeling, Pauline said: “A mix of emotions. Mostly disappointment. You just expect people to apply sense when things happen. Rather than assume the worst of someone, jump to conclusions, allow false narratives to hang.”

Big Brother then said: “Before you entered the Big Brother house, the rules regarding unacceptable behaviour were explained to you. At 1.46am, you were involved in an argument in the bathroom, during which you pointed your finger and stepped towards Rochelle.

“Big Brother deemed your tone and body language to be unacceptable. As a result of this, Big Brother is giving you a formal warning. Pauline, do you understand? Pauline, do you understand?”

Pauline seemingly refused to answer Big Brother and just stared silently at the camera. Viewers at home have been left furious by Big Brother’s judgement, with some arguing that Rochelle also deserved a warning.

An X user fumed: “FORMAL WARNING GET OUT OF HERE #bbuk.” Someone else said: “Rochelle pointed her finger first?!?! Omfg I hate this!!! #BBUK.”

While a third viewer added: “Rochelle should also get a warning, considering she was also point her fingers in Pauline’s face BEFOREHAND.” And yet another fan voiced their support, writing: “Ngl if I was Pauline, I’d f**** leave #BBUK.”

Others agreed with Pauline’s decision to stay silent after the warning, with one posting: “Good on Pauline in the diary room then. That warning was ridiculous,” and a second posted: “AHHHH I am HOWWWWLING that Pauline is now giving BB the silent treatment.”

The argument in question started when Catrin tried to speak to Pauline because she “felt bad” for nominating her. The original housemate was still feeling down after finding out she would be facing eviction for the third time this week, just days after her closest pal was eliminated.

So Pauline refused to speak to Catrin and later explained that her behaviour wasn’t because of Catrin’s vote, but that she was just upset about facing the chopping block yet again. Despite the explanation, Catrin still felt targeted by Pauline’s behaviour and broke down crying.

Her tears sparked a strong reaction from Rochelle, who then confronted Pauline in the bathroom despite not understanding the full story. The duo had a brutal back-and-forth during which Rochelle pointed at Pauline, fuming: “I hope you’re f**** proud of yourself.”

Pauline then fumed: “Don’t start on me. Don’t even go there. You know nothing of what happened!” That was when she moved towards Rochelle pointing her own finger back, which forced fellow housemate Harry to hold Pauline back.

Rochelle later relayed the argument as Pauline “picking on” Catrin, suggesting she was bullying the newcomer.

Big Brother viewers spotted an issue with this week’s nominations

Fans think they have spotted a problem with this week’s nominations.

Big Brother viewers have admitted they have been left “raging” following the most recent episode. It comes after Tuesday’s (October 6) installment of ITV’s reality series saw the housemates choose who they want to be at risk of eviction, face-to-face.

As a result, tensions boiled over, and scenes showed Rochelle and Pauline clashing in the bathroom as they prepared for bed.

Pauline received the second-most nominations, with five, after Rob. The pair now face the public vote, with one expected to be forced to leave on Friday night.

It was the latest incident during the House of Revelations theme to put contestants’ opinions of one another under the spotlight. Frankie, Lynx, Omar, Philip, Rhianna, and Yasmin all picked Rob.

Pauline received five, from Lynx, Philip, Rhianna, Rochelle, and Catrin. Their reasons included her preference to only want to eat organic foods when they are available. Rochelle, however, questioned this as she had “seen her eating a pizza”.

Several fans watching along at home were immediately upset about how the latest nominations played out. Some are even refusing to vote this time around due to the limited choices.

One fan admitted: “Not voting this week – raging Omar got away with it. It’s insane to me. I can’t believe we have to suffer through another week of him.”

Another agreed: “Craaaazy how Rob is up over Rochelle. The things Rochelle has said and done, and we have Rob up? Insane.”

Some believe they have figured out the reason why. The most popular theory was that, because the nominations were face-to-face rather than in the Diary Room, some housemates changed their choices.

As one person explained: “It’s easier to nominate Rob face-to-face than it is Rochelle, even though half of them nominated her in the diary room last week. I was really surprised at Yasmin nominating Rob.”

Meanwhile, one viewer was surprised by Twinks considering her clashes with Omar. They said: “Twinks really annoyed me not nominating him though. If she did it would be 2v1 with a split vote for Pauline and Rob. Omar would have been a goner.”

One person offered a similar view: “I believe if the nominations were behind closed doors, it would’ve turned out differently. Especially with Phillip trying to save face this time, I imagine the same goes for the other housemates too.”

After Pauline suggested she could quit the house before Friday’s eviction, one person hoped that if it happened, it would mean the next highest nominated housemates would be up. They said: “I really want Pauline to walk please cause extra drama, Omar and Rochelle will also be up.”

Big Brother newcomer Catrin was at the centre of an explosive argument in the latest episode of the ITV2 show

A Big Brother housemate has been forced to sleep away from her co-stars after tensions reached boiling point.

The ITV2 reality competition returned to screens tonight (October 6) and saw the contestants enduring yet another day in the House of Revelations. The new theme is all about exposing the housemates’ real opinions about one another, which means they were forced to nominate face-to-face.

In the end Pauline received five nominations from Lynx, Philip, Rhianna, Rochelle and Catrin. While Rob received six nominations from Frankie, Lynx, Omar, Philip, Rhianna and Yasmin. The duo will go head-to-head in this Friday’s live eviction.

The nominations naturally left tensions high in the house, but it was newcomer Catrin’s choice to put Pauline up for elimination that caused a huge housemate clash, which led to Big Brother asking Pauline to sleep in the Snug instead of the Bedroom.

It started when Catrin approached Pauline because she “felt bad” about the nomination but Pauline walked away from her. But the conversation returned before bed time when Catrin decided to point out that Pauline has been ignoring her ever since the nomination.

The 23-year-old said: “I’m not invisible”. This only sparked an argument between the pair as Pauline explained that she is upset about being placed for eviction for the third time, not necessarily about Catrin’s vote. It later spiralled out of control when Pauline, Harry and Rob were caught having a private chat in the bathroom.

Referencing her spat with Catrin, Pauline said: “Is this place empty? Is it just us? What the f*** was that? Like don’t start on me, you literally just got here.”

She went on to fume: “I don’t even owe you a hello at this point. ‘Pauline, give me attention. It’s about me.’ It’s not about you, babe, you just got here. Like, you ain’t gonna get your moment girl.

“Go look for it elsewhere, you ain’t gonna find it here. That was so ridiculous. Is it really that deep that you just came… tried to come for me? Like, you look stupid, seriously, like you were looking for a moment.”

But she didn’t realise that Catrin was also in the bathroom listening to the entire conversation. An emotional Catrin then came out of the toilet and said: “Sorry, I just wanna say I’m in the toilet the entire time and I can hear the conversation, so, I can hear everything.”

Pauline replied: “Cause you really tried to make that moment about you and I wouldn’t go for it… it’s not about you. This week is not about you.” Catrin was left in tears as she argued: “Nothing is about me and I’m not trying to say that.”

“Oh my gosh. I can’t. No seriously, I can’t. And now she’s in tears and ‘I’m the bad guy, I’m the villain’. Like what the f***,” Pauline fumed as the new housemate stormed off in tears.

Upset by the conversion she overheard between Pauline and Rob, Catrin joined the other housemates in the bedroom seeking their comfort. Another argument soon erupted as Rochelle decided to defend the teaching assistant, telling Pauline to “pick on someone your own size”.

Big Brother ultimately had no choice but to separate Pauline, Catrin and Rochelle for the night.

Big Brother viewers were left emotional after one housemate confessed she wanted to leave the ITV2 show

A Big Brother housemate has admitted “I want to go home”.

It’s been three weeks since 16 contestants walked into the famous house, hoping to win over the British public and bag the huge cash prize. Among them was teacher Yasmin, who formed close bonds with her co-stars Omar and Rhianna.

But her relationships hit a rough patch earlier this week after she rushed to defend newcomer Twinks. It all started when Twinks admitted she identifies as a witch in a private conversation with three other housemates.

News of Twinks’ spiritual beliefs spread like wildfire across the house and Omar wasn’t impressed by her confession. He later had a heated conversation with Twinks, where he asked her if she has ever ridden a broomstick.

The 21-year-old went on to insist that the word ‘witch’ has negative connotations, but Yasmin begged him to “have some respect”. The fallout from their argument left Yasmin in tears during Monday’s episode (October 5) of the ITV show.

The emotional housemate was shown crying alone in bed as she confessed: “I want to go home.” Pauline was quick to console her and asked: “Why do you feel that way?”

Yasmin replied: “I miss my friends and family. I miss how normal everyone is.” Pauline then offered words of support, saying: “Whatever you need to get some peace in this house, take that time. You’ll be okay, my girl. You will be okay.”

It’s not just her clash with Omar that has left the ITV star heartbroken, she also found out that Rhianna has been “chatting s***” behind her back. Yasmin discovered that Rhianna believed she had a secret crush on Lynx in last night’s episode.

Reflecting on the revelation, she told Big Brother: “It’s not the comment that’s p**** me off. It’s the fact that you sat there chatting s*** about me, and it’s like, are we not friends?

“It just makes me think how much other s*** has been said? And I’m sat there going ‘Love you, sis. Hi, sis. How are you doing?’ And then all I’ve ever done in here is look out for Omar, and I just think it’s just been thrown back in my face.”

Although their friendship has lasted weeks, Yasmin told Big Brother that “there’s no coming back” from their latest argument. “The friendship is dead in the water,” she said.

Viewers at home were left heartbroken as they watched Yasmin break down. One shared online: “Watching Yasmin cry was hard, I’m so p**** with how she gets treated in there.”

However, before the reality show made its iconic return to ITV, Big Brother had originally launched on Channel 4 screens back in 2000, before making its way to Channel 5 during its third series in 2002.

Who won the first ever Big Brother?

Craig Phillips was the first ever contestant to win Big Brother UK back in 2000, making history from the launch show. The then-builder from Liverpool saw his life change after 64 days in the iconic house, winning a staggering £70,000 cash prize.

At just 28 years old at the time, Craig became a firm favourite in the Big Brother house where he stayed alongside Nick Bateman (then known as ‘nasty Nick’) as well as Melanie Hill. His success also continued when he won a National Television Award for Best Live Television Moment of the Year.

What did Craig Phillips do with his Big Brother prize money?

After winning the £70,000 cash prize, Craig decided to put his winnings to a good cause, donating it to his friend Joanna Harris who had Down’s Syndrome, to pay for her heart and lung transplant.

According to the official Craig Phillips website: “He had begun raising money with friends for Harris sometime before entering Big Brother, raising only small amounts of money towards the £250,000 needed for her operation in the USA, but within 6 days of winning he achieved the target required for her life saving operation thanks to public support and generous donations from celebrities.”

Craig has worked closely with a variety of charities, often taking part in fundraising events such as abseiling one of London’s tallest buildings as well as sky diving.

Since his Big Brother success, Craig Phillips has far from faded from the spotlight. He has gone on to build a successful career as a property developer, DIY expert and television presenter, famed for popular shows such as 60 Minute Makeover and Trading Up.

He has also not been a stranger to reality TV, having raised £40,000 for charity from Back to Reality as well as appearing on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway

Fans may not have realised he turned his attention to music, releasing a charity single for Christmas 2000, which reached the charts, raising tens of thousands for the Down’s Syndrome Association.

Arguably his most iconic moment was his confrontation with Nick Bateman, then nicknamed Nasty Nick. After Nick was seen breaking the rules, Craig gathered the housemates calling for an intervention before going face to face with his co-star.

Another iconic moment was causing mass panic on Ultimate Big Brother when he gate crashed and staged an eviction.

With millions of people tuning in to the live final, Craig made history winning the first ever Big Brother series as he stepped out to a huge crowned, later earning him the National Television Award.

Speaking to Channel 4 back in 2020, Craig was asked what it was like winning Big Brother as he replied: “This is a question I’ve been asked thousands of times and if I am being honest it’s so hard to answer! Because it was and still is the most surreal moment and experience, I’ve ever had!

“It was the ultimate combination of emotional highs as well as a scary situation to be in – once I’d stepped out the door I started to live a life that most people dreamed of having, almost the entire country knew my name and appeared to love me!

“Every A-List celeb I chatted to became my friend, people and companies were paying me obscene amounts of money to be associated with them, I had bodyguards that chauffeured me around day by day and we changed hotel every night for month and months!”
