Big Brother’s unseen bedroom scenes that expose Omar’s ‘controlling’ behaviour as our mole accuses him of twisted game

BIG Brother’s Omar El Mayer will remain in the spy house despite being accused of “coercive and abusive” behaviour towards Rhianna Collins – but I’ve heard of events that have happened in the shared bedroom that feel even more worrying.

The Sun’s mole on the show has shared details of one strange action the jewellery salesman has performed before bed and how it has raised eyebrows on set amid fan outcry.

It comes as Women’s Aid have spoken out over Omar’s behaviour as viewers rush to complain to Ofcom.

Omar, 21, scolded Rhianna, also 21, for speaking about their argument to her co-stars before using “red-flag” language including “don’t talk about me”, “don’t cry”, “don’t look away from me”, “sort yourself out” and “fix up”.

Now unaired scenes can be revealed and it all hangs on Big Brother’s thorough duty of care measures.

Our source said: “If there are people sharing a bed, Big Brother has a rule that every night they individually have to show the camera a thumbs up or thumbs down to show that they consent to that situation.

“If there is no sign, or a thumbs down, Big Brother intervenes and calls them to the diary room.

“Over the last few nights Omar has been putting thumbs DOWN and so has been called into the diary room.

“When he’s in there he doesn’t really seem to explain much.”

The revelation shocked me, as a Big Brother fan as well as someone who closely reports on the show, because surely it seems more likely Rhianna would be the one flagging concern to bosses.

Our source added: “It’s raised eyebrows – if he’d done it once, fair enough, but the fact he’s done a thumbs down over a few nights suggests it’s a pattern of behaviour to control the narrative.

“There’s clearly complex emotions at play but it’s troubling.”

The revelation comes amid a rising storm around Omar remaining on the show.

As yet, bosses have not moved to remove him from the house.

A Big Brother spokesman said: “All Housemates receive Respect and Inclusion training and an extensive briefing from the Big Brother Senior team to prepare them for living in the House and to set out Big Brother’s expectations for appropriate behaviour and language.

“Housemates are monitored 24 hours a day and any instances of inappropriate behaviour are responded to appropriately.

“Welfare and safeguarding are prioritised throughout the production, with a dedicated welfare team available to support Housemates before, during and after their time in the House.”

Yesterday Women’s Aid spoke out following complaints over last night’s “worrying” scenes between Omar and Rhianna.

Spokesman Veronica Oakeshott told The Sun: “The nature of abuse means that it often begins with ‘red flag’ coercive and controlling behaviours like isolating you from friends or repeatedly putting you down, before escalating into other forms of abuse.

“Coercive control creates invisible chains and a sense of fear that impacts every element of a survivor‘s life.

“It’s worrying to see behaviours like this being given a platform in popular media like Big Brother.”

Women’s Aid has been contacted by “many viewers who have expressed concern”, added Veronica.

We also told how fans, ex-Housemates and celebrities have all demanded Omar is axed over his behaviour – with viewers in their droves contacting TV regulator, Ofcom.

She added: “We continue to urge television companies such as ITV to engage with experts like Women’s Aid to understand the nature of abuse and how they can do better to protect contestants. We would welcome a discussion with the Big Brother team.”

Scenes between Omar and Rhianna have seen her telling Omar “I don’t want to argue with you”, to which he replied “Well, then, don’t say mad things that you don’t mean. It’s not fair. You need to sort it out, get it together.”

Rhianna then whispered “I’m sorry” and he accepted her apology saying “it’s OK” before they spent the night together in bed.

In another sinister moment from last night’s hard-to-watch episode, Omar interrupted Rhianna’s conversation with Rochelle and Phillip to whisper in her ear.

Bending down to Rhianna in bed to conceal his warning, Omar said: “Do me a favour, I know you’re upset, but don’t talk about me. Thank you.”

One viewer commented: “The fact Omar’s comfortable doing this on national TV scares me for what he does behind closed doors.”

Another added: “This has become dangerous now. Omar needs removing from the house.

“He has been gaslighting and emotionally abusing Rhianna for weeks.

“You don’t have to be a genius to know what would be happening if the cameras and other housemates weren’t there.”

Rep. Ilhan Omar’s phone seized and relatives subpoenaed in criminal probe, AP source says

Federal authorities investigating Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar seized the Democratic lawmaker’s phone and have issued more than a dozen grand jury subpoenas, including to some of her relatives, according to a person briefed on the probe.

The subpoenas were issued for a grand jury collecting evidence in Minnesota as federal authorities probe potential fraud in Omar’s immigration paperwork, said the person, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss an ongoing investigation. The investigation led to federal agents searching Omar’s Washington, D.C. home on Monday just weeks before the November midterms, in which Omar is seeking reelection.

The scope of the investigation into Omar is unclear, though Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin has suggested that authorities were examining potential crimes related to her family’s immigration paperwork.

On Tuesday, Washington D.C. U.S Attorney Jeanine Pirro said in a Fox News interview that “there are several investigations going on” related to Omar and that her office is also probing issues concerning the lawmaker’s financial disclosures.

“If there was a crime that was committed, it will be prosecuted,” Pirro said.

The search of Omar’s home so close to next month’s midterm contests that will determine control of the House and the Senate was swiftly condemned by Democrats, who accused the administration of targeting the Democrat for political purposes. Omar, in a statement on X, called the search an “attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement.”

“For 10 years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation,” she said. “I will not be silenced.”

A phone message seeking comment was left Wednesday with a representative for Omar.

Though the Republican focus on Omar’s background dates back years, the search notably took place three weeks before the November midterms, in which Omar is seeking reelection. The Justice Department has historically sought to avoid public investigative actions involving a candidate within 60 days of a primary or general election.

Omar, who was first elected to the House in 2018, represents Minnesota’s 5th District, including Minneapolis. She is part of The Squad of progressive lawmakers who are a vibrant political force on the left wing of Congress but have also endured repeated attacks from President Trump, dating back to his first term. She was one of the first two Muslim-American women in the House and the first African refugee to be elected to Congress.

Big Brother star Omar’s secret reality TV past revealed as clip of him on show with Chloe Burrows resurfaces

BIG Brother fans may recognise Omar El Mayer’s from another telly show – as it’s not his first rodeo.

The contestant, who is currently taking part on the fly-on-the-wall show, took part on a YouTube series called The Intern, which aired late 2025.

Love Island star Chloe Burrows, Nella Rose, Harry Pinero, and PK Humble featured in the digital comedy series.

It followed twenty contestants claiming to be superfans of Nella and fight to win a real internship working with her.

But some participants were hidden clout-chasers trying to fake their fandom to win a £3,000 cash prize instead of the job.

Omar was a participant on the online series and revealed himself to be a “clout chaser”.

He admitted he was only there for the money and fired by the hosts during the elimination process.

Things have continued to spiral on Big Brother, with a series of rows and housemates butting heads.

In a recent explosive clash, Omar and Yasmin went head-to-head as she insisted he was the “fun police“.

The first row kicked off when Omar clashed with Rob after he was seen dancing barefoot across the kitchen table.

A fuming Omar loudly exclaimed: “Get off the table – we eat on it. Get off the table, please.”

Rob continued to dance before being shouted at once more by Omar.

Annoyed at Rob, he remarked to Rochelle: “This is mad – I put my bread on that table yesterday. And he’s got his feet on it. It’s horrible.”

A back and forth soon ensued with Omar saying: Yesterday I put my toast on that table and ate it off the table.

“That means if I didn’t see you do that, today I would have put toast on top of your feet.”

Rochelle later remarked that Rob is left upset by Omar’s comment before Omar raged: “I don’t care if he is sensitive, bro and he needs to f***ing deal with it, bro.”

But Rob was not his only target with Yasmin also coming under fire from Omar as he took aim at her loudness.

He said to her: “You need to stop with the obnoxiously loud songs.”

As Yasmin hits back and suggested he was against “people having fun,” she soon got more riled up and said: “Let your hair down. Have a laugh. It’s alright.

“F***ing hell. I’m going to do what the f*** I please.

“Stop telling me what to do. You keep telling me what to do and I don’t like it.”
