A SURPRISING contender has entered the ring to take on the iconic role of James Bond, replacing Daniel Craig.

Numerous actors have been tipped to take on the 007 job, from Callum Turner to Henry Cavill. However, racy scenes on a hit TV show have put another name in the spotlight, say bookies.

Anthony Boyle, 31, known for appearing in new Netflix show House of Guinness, has made his way up the list when it comes to the odds.

The actor has been cut to 4-1, from 12-1, by bookmaker Coral to become the next James Bond, after attracting support in the firm’s betting over the last 24 hours.

Coral’s John Hill said: “We have seen significant support for Anthony Boyle in our next James Bond betting over the last 24 hours.

“As we approach the end of 2025, many punters are convinced he could be leading the race to replace Daniel Craig.”

Anthony is known for portraying Arthur Guinness, a role which saw him go full-frontal nude on-screen.

In the scene, Arthur is seen standing up from a bathtub, completely naked and facing the camera.

And it’s seemingly this role that has put the star in a higher lead for the iconic franchise role.

There has been plenty of whispers over recent years about who will take on the role from Daniel Craig, who stepped into 007’s shoes two decades ago.

Another name spinning through the rumour mill is Idris Elba, who this week teased that there could be truth to the chatter.

The British actor and Hollywood star posted a playful reel on TikTok as he posed with James Bond wax figures at Madame Tussauds.

As the iconic Bond theme played over the top and the camera panned along the line of 007s, the shot finally stopped to show Idris, 53, standing at the end.

Viewers of the video rushed to the comments section to share their excitement, feeling Idris would be a prime pick for replacing Daniel Craig.

“You would be an AMAZING Bond,” said one user. A second exclaimed in all caps: “Do not get me excited for this.”

Saltburn star Jacob Elordi, Spider-Man’s Tom Holland and Babygirl actor Harris Dickinson are all at the top of the wish list too.

Although Jacob is Australian, is does not rule him out – especially as Aussie actor George Lazenby having previously played Bond in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service in 1969.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Henry Cavill have also been heavily rumoured to take on the gig.

In one of her sexiest outfits ever, the actress went almost naked in a jaw-dropping sheer chainmail style silver dress that left very little to the imagination.

Back in October, the White Lotus star went braless with her bare chest on display under her figure-hugging attire, which featured a floor-skimming hemline and elbow-length sleeves.

The see-through fabric gave a glimpse at her famous boobs, as well as the skin on her torso and thighs, making her appear pretty much naked in the exposing gown.

Sydney opted to keep the rest of her look minimal as it was clear that the dress was the statement piece here.

Sydney looked a vision in a plunging white gown adorned with a fur trim that seemed to be inspired by the late Marilyn Monroe.

With two words, Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown launched himself into controversy Thursday morning when he joked about being glad that Elizabeth Warren, his likely Democratic opponent in 2012, had never posed in the nude.

Brown was responding to a quip Warren made at a Democratic debate Tuesday. Asked how she had paid for college – compared with Brown, who once posed partially nude for Cosmopolitan – Warren said: “I kept my clothes on.”

Brown fired back during an interview onBoston radio station WZLX: “Thank God!”

The jab went over well with the host, who laughed, then tried to stoke the flames.

“That’s what I said,” the host responded. “I said, look, can you blame a good looking guy for, you know, for wanting to…”

Brown swept into office last year on a tea party wave that helped him take a seat that had been held by Edward M. Kennedy for nearly 50 years. Democrats will fight hard to win it back in 2012.

Warren has a strong following and is known for her consumer advocacy. Obama tapped her last year to set up a new consumer protection agency, but Republicans opposed letting her head the agency.

She entered the Senate race in mid-September after being heavily courted, but her nomination is not guaranteed – the Democratic primary field is packed with other contenders. Brown’s comment made him an easy target at a time when he’d be better off laying low and letting the Democrats fight it out.

Brown cut in with an attempt to soften the jab: “You know what, listen, bottom line is I didn’t go to Harvard. You know, I went to the school of hard knocks and I did whatever I had to do to pay for school.”

(Warren also did not go to Harvard, though she is a Harvard law professor.)

Brown went on to describe how he faced “real challenges growing up.”

“You know, whatever,” he said. “You know, let them throw stones. I did what I had to do. And but not for having that opportunity, I never would have been able to pay for school and never would have gone to school and I wouldn’t probably be talking to you, so, whatever.”

The host didn’t want to let Brown’s initial comment go, and Brown wasn’t going to take all the blame.

“That’s funny you throw that jab, because –“ the host began. But Brown again cut him off.

“You said it too!” Brown replied.

The Massachusetts Democratic Party was quick to respond, scolding Brown for the comment.

“Sen. Brown’s comments are the kind of thing you would expect to hear in a frat house, not a race for U.S. Senate,” executive director Clare Kelly said in a statement. “Scott Brown’s comments send a terrible message that even accomplished women who are held in the highest esteem can be laughingly dismissed based on their looks.”
