Amy, who was on MAFS in 2024, has been documenting the whole process by filming herself both before and after the surgery.

On Day 2 of her recovery, Amy took to TikTok and exclaimed: “OMG, I’ve woke up this morning and I literally can’t go for breakfast looking like this. What am I gonna do guys?”

In the video, Amy jokingly tried on various disguises as she tried to limit how bad she looked.

Then with her hoodie and dark sunglasses hiding some of her face, she made her way down to breakfast.

“I can’t believe I’m going for breakfast like this, this is absolute hell,” she exclaimed in the lift.

Minutes later she appeared back in her room and explained that she had bottled out of going for breakfast because it was so busy.

“I just said to the lady can I get some food and leave and she said no problem so I got a slice of cheese, 3 walnuts and an apricot.”

Fans flocked to comment and one said: “What did you get done?”

“Endoscopic brow lift and orbital brow shave,” replied Amy.

Another wrote: “Don’t know why some people stare init they can see you’ve had surgery, hope your ok.”

A third said: “I would defo stay in the room.”

While a fourth added: “Got this girly. It will all be worth it.”

Amy’s surgery comes after she recently underwent a hair transplant.

The star spent £5000 on getting 1,300 scalp grafts to fix her hairline, admitting at the time that she was left “traumatised” straight after surgery as she compared herself to ‘Megamind’.

Amy – who was working in sales when she applied for MAFS – was partnered with Luke Debono in 2024.

But within minutes, the 29-year-old knew she was embarking on anything but a fairytale romance.

What followed, said Amy, was weeks of being sexually degraded on camera, and she revealed to The Sun what went on when shooting ended for the day.

MAFS stars have their ribs ‘recontoured’ and ‘pushed in’ after flying to Bali for surgery that’s illegal in Australia

MAFS Australia stars Bec Zacharia and Awhina Rutene have revealed they’re going under the knife to have their ribs “recontoured” in a procedure that’s illegal in Australia.

Bec, who became one of the most controversial stars of the latest series, said she had been flooded with hate by nasty trolls commenting on her appearance.

The reality star, who tied the knot with Danny Hewitt on the show, has previously been open about her drastic weight loss, losing over 4st.

In a new video with influencer Joshua Fox, Bec admitted she still had a lot of loose skin that she was desperate to get rid of as she flew to Bali for the procedure.

Speaking to the influencer, she said: “I’ve got a lot of loose skin, this is the most vulnerable I’m ever going to be because there are parts of me that I can’t stand looking in the mirror.

“Your body, your choice, what you feel confident with and what you feel comfortable, f***ing do it.

“So why are all these Karen’s coming at me. Let me get my ribs done.”

The TV star said: “No one wants to look like me, see this sloth over here.

“Get your teeth done, get your jaw done, get your skin done, get your nose done, trust me if I could I would.”

Joshua shared his fears, saying: “It’s not available in Australia yet because it take a long time for things to be approved there.

“I just worry it sets this new standard.”

Meanwhile, second bride Awhina, who starred on the show in 2025, said she was also planning to undergo the same procedure to achieve a more “hourglass” figure.

She said: “There was no way I was going to be removing ribs from my body where it’s protecting vital organs, I was really worried about all of that.

“But I looked into it, it’s rib contouring, where they are going to angle my rib inwards to give me that natural hourglass silhouette.

“I’m not worried that I’m a blue print for anyone else.”

Joshua captioned the post: “In a matter of hours, Bec, Awhina and the other influencers on this trip will all undergo the ‘rib recontouring’ procedure here in Bali. But why are they doing this? And do they think they’re setting a dangerous example?

“Ep 2 of the investigative pod series out now. Follow here for part 3 and our journey in the hospital.”

In May, Bec returned to social media after her ‘ban’ over a dress scandal as she’s mocked by her show rival.

The TV star endured an explosive time during her Married At First Sight stint with groom Danny amid clashes with bride Gia Fleur.

Just weeks after Bec was dumped at Final Vows her actions caused her Instagram account to be deleted from the platform entirely.

Bec claimed that her main profile was removed after she was reported by other users because she was involved in drama with an Australian designer bridal rental company reports Heart.

Now, Bec is back on Instagram and captioned a series of images: “Sticks and stones may break our bones, but names will NEVER hurt us.”

The images included a smiling Bec posing alongside MAFS bride Alissa Fay who was also blindsided at the end of the series.

Brides Gia and Bec clashed several times throughout the season after failing to hit it off just minutes into meeting during the hen party.

And after the dress scandal, Gia took to social media and mocked Bec saying: “In the light of what’s going on just now with some people losing their Instagrams and people acting at fashion week above people.

“Let’s be humble.”

Gia then modelled a $12 dollar outfit and explained that nobody knew them before the show as she appeared to then impersonate Bec.

Gia’s followers flocked to comment and one said: “Still attacking Bec.”

Another said: “Let’s be humble. Then goes on to talk about someone else… that’s also not being humble.”

A third added: “The impression at the end was funny.”

Awhina and show husband Adrian had a highly turbulent relationship.

They chose to stay together at final vows, but split just a few days later.

MAFS star calls out ‘lack of respect’ as groom makes ex admission

Married at First Sight viewers said they ‘feel bad’ for one star after recent revelations

Married At First Sight viewers shared their concern after one of the brides accused her husband of being dishonest about a former partner.

The American version of the beloved reality programme is currently broadcasting on E4. Brand new episodes from its 19th series air weekdays at 8pm on the channel, and are also available to stream on Channel 4.

In a subtle departure from other iterations of the show, viewers follow just five couples from Austin, who have committed themselves to complete strangers. While some pairings are moving forward steadily, others are proving considerably more turbulent.

Wednesday’s (May 27) episode saw the couples mark a significant milestone. A full month had passed since they all walked down the aisle, meaning it was also one month since they first laid eyes on one another.

The couples organised a diverse array of activities to commemorate the occasion, with Pat and Rhonda rising early to watch a live space launch on their laptop. Meanwhile, Josh arranged to go skydiving with his wife Jalyn, reports OK!

Later, Josh struggled to rewrite his vows, revealing it had taken him four days to compose his original speech. The pair eventually made up, however tensions were soon to reach boiling point following an incident that occurred off camera.

As the episode drew to a close and the credits began rolling, a heated row between the two was broadcast. Jalyn revealed they had been socialising with some of Josh’s friends when the topic of ex-partners somehow arose.

Footage from a camera positioned within their apartment shows them arriving home in the middle of a heated debate. Josh tells her: “And it’s just like no. He didn’t say that Jayln and my ex are similar, he said that I similarly jumped into this like I jumped into it with my ex.

And then the way I explained it was like ‘Duh I jumped into this, I got married.’ So that’s where Peter said the similarities are. And that’s what brought up the whole ex thing. And I’m sure that’s what prompted the conversation between you and David. “

Josh and I were hanging out with his friends and we had a situation happen where we had a lot of talk Abou social media and what does it look like if your partner still has exes and what does that look like. And he was like I unfollowed her on Instagram and then I could feel something was off and it became evident that he didn’t

It is then revealed that Josh’s ex has seemingly DM’d him since getting married, prompting Jalyn to state: “I just don’t like that.” He insists that he is not hiding anything but she shares to the camera: “An unnecessary little lie, All I think of is turning into bigger lies. It definitely feels like a breach of trust or a lack of respect.”

She continues: “What is a mistake that you can work through and what is a red flag that you should leave for?” It didn’t take long for those watching along at home to share what they feel about the situation.

One fan said: “I hate the whole American ‘can’t ever speak to your ex again’ thing, ugh. And Josh shouldn’t have offered to cut contact with his ex, then not done it. I hope Josh gets the post nup, I don’t trust Jalyn.”

Another claimed: “Josh shouldn’t have said that he stopped following the ex when he didn’t and she shouldn’t have asked him to in the first place.”

While someone else noted: “Oh the ending where Josh still didn’t block his ex and seems like he’s still having conversations with her but then tells Jalyn that he doesn’t want a relationship with his ex, then why are you talking to her? I feel so bad for her.”

Married At First Sight USA continues tomorrow at 8pm on E4 and streaming on Channel 4

‘He touched himself then touched my face’: MAFS UK bride’s disturbing claims

A former MAFS UK bride has alleged she was left traumatised after her on-screen husband performed a lewd act and controlled her behaviour as she criticises welfare team

A former Married At First Sight UK bride says she was traumatised for years after appearing on the show and alleges her co-star restricted her movements, leaving her isolated.

Speaking to the Mirror following Panorama: The Dark Side of Married At First Sight, which aired on BBC One on Monday night, the bride alleged: “He performed a lewd act and then touched my face without consent. He banned me from drinking or speaking to production staff without him.”

She claims to have reported it to welfare staff and that production staff were aware of incidents but she was encouraged to continue with the show. She alleged: “They [production] would say, ‘It’s going to be OK’. Staff bought me a drink to help smooth things over after I complained.”

Describing the welfare team, she alleged: “They present as your best friend. I thought they were somebody you could talk to about anything. But if I look back on it now, I would say it’s more like grooming.”

The bride alleged she felt pressured into intimacy by her partner and does not believe enough safeguarding existed once couples returned to their apartments off camera.

She said: “I had sex with my partner and whilst I wasn’t forced, I felt pressured.” She added: “The couch ceremonies are supposed to be a safe space where you can speak honestly. But you go back to your apartment afterwards and there are no cameras there and nobody to protect you.”

She told how much of the alleged behaviour took place away from cameras and claimed she repeatedly raised concerns with welfare and production teams throughout filming.

She had months of psychological assessments, interviews and background checks, which she believed were designed to protect participants.

But she said: “I told them everything about myself – that I’d been in controlling relationships before, that I struggled speaking up for myself and that I fall in love very quickly. But now I feel like I gave them the blueprint on how to expose me and use me.

“They knew I had a history of abusive, controlling relationships and paired me with someone who controlled my every move.”

She believes the intense filming conditions heightened emotions. She said: “I’ve never cried more in my life. “You aren’t sleeping enough, you’re filming 14, 15, sometimes 20-hour days and when you’re not filming, you’re isolated in an apartment.

“At the dinner parties you’d be picked up at 8am in full hair and make-up then left sitting in a shipping container for six or seven hours before filming. The worse your situation was with your partner, the longer they seemed to leave you in the room.”

She questioned how much information relationship experts Paul C. Brunson, Charlene Douglas and the late Mel Schilling had received. The contestant said: “The experts had zero idea what was going on. They gave good advice based on the information they had.”

After watching the Panorama episode, the bride believes the worst is yet to come. She added: “They need to properly safeguard people instead of just creating drama. This Panorama story is only the beginning of hearing the nightmares people have had.”

The bombshell claims come as Channel 4 removed all ten series from its platforms and scrapped the series due to air in September following a BBC Panorama investigation that revealed two women claim they were raped by their on-screen “husbands” during filming, while another made allegations of sexual assault against her partner.

The Metropolitan Police has now urged potential victims to come forward, stating they will be “making approaches to the relevant production teams” to ensure anyone affected knows how to report criminal allegations.

The scandal has blown open the production practices used in dating reality shows which have been growing in popularity over recent years.

Monday’s documentary sparked a political row, with Channel 4 CEO Priya Dogra telling MPs the broadcaster was “not an adjudicator” on the serious allegations. But it is feared this is just the tip of the iceberg for dating reality shows and these new claims put pressure on producers and broadcasters to clean up their act.

Channel 4 has commissioned an external review while insisting their welfare protocols are “some of the most comprehensive and robust in the industry”. Industry sources say the show is unlikely to ever air in the UK again.

The Mirror put these allegations to CPL and to Channel 4 who directed us to their statement in full. Part of this includes: “MAFS UK is produced under some of the most comprehensive and robust welfare protocols in the industry. These include the most thorough background checks available, a Code of Conduct which clearly sets out behavioural standards, daily contributor check-ins with a specialist welfare team and access to additional support before, during and after filming. The physical and psychological wellbeing of all contributors is of paramount importance throughout the process. All duty of care processes are regularly reviewed and, where appropriate, strengthened.”

Another section of the statement reads: “Channel 4 believes that when concerns related to contributor welfare were raised through existing welfare and production protocols, prompt and appropriate action was taken, based on the information available at the time. Channel 4 strongly refutes any claim to the contrary.”
