Love Island star sparks fix row as she says winner Toni Laites was ITV plant

Toni Laites emerged victorious from the latest series of Love Island but it’s now been alleged that she was actually spotted by a top ITV producer when he was on holiday

Toni Laites emerged victorious from the latest series of Love Island when she and now-boyfriend Cach Mercer were voted the nation’s couple. But now, it’s being claimed that the US native, 25, was actually handpicked by a top ITV boss who spotted her working in a club when he was on honeymoon to star in the show.

Olivia Attwood, who shot to fame on the third series of Love Island in 2017 and now has a successful TV career with a string of documentaries and a regular spot on the Loose Women panel, has alleged that this year’s winner didn’t apply for the show in the traditional manner. She said: “You know Mike Spencer, the producer? He found Toni in Vegas, she was a cabana girl – he was on his honeymoon.”

Olivia explained that the ITV boss simply struck up a conversation with the then-bar girl and decided there and then that she would be a good addition to the ITV2 programme, from which she eventually walked off with the £50,000 prize. She said: “He met her, got chatting with her and told her, ‘you’d be amazing on Love Island’. That’s how she got on [the show].”

The former TOWIE star then explained that she had spoken to Toni herself, and claimed that the Love Island beauty is in a little bit of a predicament because she hasn’t been back home ‘for months’ thanks to her career suddenly taking off in the UK. But Olivia was quick to offer her advice. During an appearance on Pete Wicks‘ Sunday Roast podcast, she added: “I said to her, ‘what are you going to do? When was the last time you went home?’ She said, ‘I haven’t been home for months, I don’t know what to do’. Because she’s now got this boyfriend who’s English. If I was her, I’d want to make the most of it and stay here for a bit.”

Toni and Cach made it to the final after weeks of being coupled up in front of millions of Love Island fans, and managed to beat Harry and Shakira and Yas and Jamie to the top prize with 33% of the vote. And since she has become the first American to be in such a position on the UK version of the hit franchise, Toni admitted that she ‘never expected’ any of it at all.

Discussing her aspirations at the ITV Reality event, Toni revealed: “The love has been insane. I never expected it in a million years honestly.”, reports the Daily Star I think for me this is all new. It’s a whole new world so I’m still trying to find my feet.

“There’s a lot of opportunities at hand but I think presenting is my thing. All the love is so incredible so shout out to the UK.”

In her first interview alongside her now-boyfriend after leaving the villa, she hinted that a move to the UK could be on the cards as she explores opportunities that have come with her newfound fame.

During an appearance on last Friday’s This Morning, she told hosts Joel Dommett and Emma Willis : “Crazy, isn’t it? I don’t think I’ll be spending much time in America. No decisions are made yet but obviously, but Cach is here, I have a lot of opportunities coming up, my friends are here. I see no reason to be in America anymore.”

Toni also explained just how ‘insane’ it is to her and Cach that they are now suddenly very famous in the UK after weeks of living in the Spanish villa, and noted that she even had her ‘doubts’ about their reception prior to landing back after the show had finished. She added: “Insane, I was a very regular person before the show and now there’s like millions of comments and followers.”

Kerry Katona says she’s ‘just desperate to be loved’ as Celebs Go Dating returns

As Celebs Go Dating returns for a new series, Kerry Katona is desperate for love, while Christine McGuinness is looking to date a woman and S Club pop star Jon Lee tackles his ‘car crash’ love life…

Kerry Katona admits she is known as ‘a car crash’ on Celebs Go Dating

With plenty of cheek, Celebs Go Dating is back tonight on E4 at 9pm, as more famous people volunteer to be filmed as they look for love. Guided by expert agents Paul C Brunson, Anna Williamson and Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn, there is plenty of drama and lust as the celebs go dating.

This season kicks off with a mixer in London, hosted by Tom Read Wilson.

On the hunt for love in this latest series are Atomic Kitten blonde bombshell Kerry Katona (not her first time on the show), S Club pop star Jon Lee, Too Hot to Handle lothario Louis Russell, TV personality Christine McGuinness and Love Island sensation Olivia Hawkins.

Kerry says: “I’m best known for being a singer, a mother, a reality star and a car crash. People think I’m this crazy, partying wild person, when in fact I’m a bit of a loner. In fact, I’m just really boring.”

She adds: “The whole dating thing is just not something I do.”

Kerry explains: “I just meet somebody and get married. I was very young when I met my first husband, I was 18. We got divorced when I was 25. I got married straight away after that, got divorced, then got married again.

“Then I met my last fiance, but I never actually got up the aisle that time.”

Kerry sighs: “I keep getting rejected, that’s what it is, I’m never good enough. They always want something else. I just want to be loved. I’m so desperate to be loved.”

She doesn’t fare too well though, with Anna Williamson noting that Kerry comes across as “insincere” when she’s talking to potential dates.

Meanwhile model, author and mum-of-three Christine says: “I’ve been separated from my ex husband for around three years. I met Paddy McGuinness when I was 19.

“I describe my sexuality as being a free spirit. When I was a teenager I dated men and women before I was married and now I’m really, really just enjoying spending time with women.”

While Jon reveals: “My dating has been a complete car crash, I’ve been single and celibate for six years. I want a man who’s rough around the edges.” Getting their flirt on and testing their dating skills, the celebs work the room and try to look for instant chemistry and sparks.

As the agents watch on, they find out just how hard they’re going to have to work to get their famous clients on the path to romance. Paul Brunson says: “We can see how they operate and gather information.”

Then a secret is revealed – the celebs must choose someone for a first date and it will be in Ibiza. “How can I go abroad with someone I don’t know? This is not normal,” says Christine, finally realising that she is on a reality show. A flash forward shows people swinging their tops around their heads, jumping on lilos, clinking glasses… It’s going to be messy.

Love Island’s Dejon responds to step-sister’s claims that he’s a ‘narcissist’ and ‘manipulative’ insisting it’s ‘false’

LOVE Island’s Dejon has clapped back at “false” slurs on his character after his step sister branded him a “narcissist.”

The ITV2 show alum, who was voted out with partner Meg ahead of Monday’s show final, took to TikTok to address the allegations in his first ever video.

It came just hours after the Love Island 2025 OG, 26, put on a brave face with his co-stars following the family slam.

Niah, who is not biologically related to Dejon but shares a brother with him, took to TikTok to give fans an unfiltered glimpse into the ‘real Dejon’ and insisted he is “manipulative” and “narcissistic”.

She has even gone as far as to write her own account in a tell-all book named ‘Surviving Dejon’, which is already available to buy.

After the rumours swirled – and coming under fire for his controversial behaviour on the show and being branded a “gaslighter” by fans – he has spoken out.

Dejon appeared topless in his new clip, donning a bling diamond necklace.

He strolled around a room with crisp white walls and exposed black beams and initially thanked fans for their support.

He said of the good wishes: “It really means the world to me, honestly especially in times like now.

“I feel like there’s a lot of false stories out there about me which are very untrue, unfair and I feel like from that, really big up to my supporters.

“I’m excited and looking forward to showing you guys who I really am.

“For now, lets go play some table tennis.”

The end of the clip showed him reunited with Meg as they played table tennis.

SHOCK CLAIM

In her scathing six minute video, his step sister Niah claimed that what viewers have seen on TV is an accurate reflection of how Dejon behaves in real life.

She began: ” So I’ve decided to speak out because I’ve been silent for way too long and I know that I will be receiving probably a lot of backlash from my family for this.

LOVE ISLAND VOTING PERCENTAGES

TONI and Cach won the Love Island 2025 final – yet what were the exact voting percentages?

Las Vegas waitress Toni Laites and professional dancer Cach Mercer went head-to-head with OG islanders Shakira Khan and Harry Cooksley in a nail-biting finale.

However, Toni and Cach were triumphant and won the summer series after surviving a love triangle just two weeks before the final.

A results table shared on Love Island’s Instagram account this afternoon showed Toni and Cach were the runaway winners on the night, taking over a third of the votes, with 33.5% of viewers backing them for the crown.

However, Shakira and Harry drew a sizeable 26.2% of the votes, and Yas and Jamie were not far behind taking 22% on the nose.

Aesthetics practitioner Angel, 26, only made her debut on July 17, but managed to secure an impressive 18.3% of the overall voting audience with Casa Amor boy Ty.

“You guys are all clearly very traumatised from seeing Dejon on TV and seeing everything that he’s doing and watching everything play out it seems as though no one is holding him accountable.

She went on to say: “Dejon is a narcissist, he’s manipulative. I’ve been telling everyone this for the past 10 years now but no one believed me. And it’s just crazy now that the whole of the UK can see what I’ve been trying to explain to people for so long.

She continued: “I didn’t want to speak out on this. That’s why I haven’t made any videos directly explaining anything about him because I know that it can affect my family in a bad way.

“And I do completely understand if they are upset with me for this post.

She added: “One thing I will say is, I knew from the beginning, from the first episode I knew exactly what was going to go down.

“It’s just a shame because I don’t want him to be seen like this, but I genuinely don’t think that he sees that he’s a narcissist, you know? and I actually do feel bad for Meg in a sense.”

Speaking about the book alongside a trailer for it, she penned: “This book answers everything. reasons why I spoke out. Why fear kept me silent for so long. How I lost everyone and everything I ever cared about.

“It reveals the truth behind the rumours I never wanted to address. I need to tell my truth in the way that I feel in control. This is not for attention, creating this book was like therapy for me.

“I would never put my reputation on the line or lose the people I loved if I didn’t have a powerful reason to finally speak.”

Niah even posted a trigger warning for the book as it contains: “emotionally intense and potentially distressing content”.

DEJON’S TAKE

Speaking to the Daily Mail previously, Dejon has hit back at claims of him being a ‘narcissist’, he said: “I do take full accountability for how I communicated at times in the villa.

“The girls who were on the show with me say I’m not a narcissist, I’m not a gaslighter, all of these things they have seen online, it means a lot to me because they spent 24 hours a day with me.

“I could have handled situations better but when it comes to being a ‘narcissist’ and these words, empathy is definitely something that I have, it’s something I had for Meg, for Harry, and when Meg was upset, I was there for her, and when Harry was upset it would break my heart.

“Me and Harry had a thing, we called it fitness and feelings where we would go to the gym and I would say “don’t worry H, we can be free here, our tears, people will think they’re sweat.”‘

JESSICA BOULTON: Ibiza Final Boss can make millions – but must exploit unlikely asset

Columnist Jessica Boulton brings you her brutally-honest and wry rundown of Showbiz’s latest shenanigans: from Ibiza Final Boss to MasterChef muppets, she’s not holding back

The face that launched a 1,000 snips? Ibiza Final Boss Jack Kay must follow rules to cash in

It’s a strange, strange world when I’m feeling sorry for a bunch of Love Island contestants. But in this social media age, it is sadly what it’s come to. For the poor lovelorn bedhoppers at the Mallorca villa have been putting in weeks of seriously hard graft – flashing their abs and parading around in thong bikinis – to get the one precious thing, (I suspect) their hearts truly desired. No, not love. Fame. Glorious, generous, glittering FAME.

But in the days after Monday’s final, the Islanders soon found themselves getting a cold hard lesson in the pitfalls of success: There’s always someone waiting in the wings – ready to cut short your 15 minutes….

Cach Mercer and Toni Laites have been revealed as the winners of Love Island 2025

For it wasn’t the winning Islanders “Breaking The Internet” this week. It wasn’t the winning Islanders batting off the biggest brand deals or most enticing DMs from Blue Tick TikTok. And it wasn’t the winning Islanders getting excitable TV companies all in a lather, begging for interviews. It was….a HAIRCUT.

Yes, the biggest celebrity getting buzz online this week wasn’t even a celeb when the week began. He was Jack Kay, a literal normal down-to-earth 26-year-old Jack-the-lad, from Newcastle on holiday in Ibiza.

One SEVEN-second viral video clip later, however…. And he’s now “Ibiza Final Boss” – the internet’s newest celebrity (aka Ibiza Bob), with 70,000 followers on Instagram, 30,000 on TikTok and hundreds of memes in his honour.

READ MORE: Ibiza Final Boss takes private jet to party island with mates who ‘all have same haircut’

He’s been offered free holidays, brand endorsement deals, flights on a £5million private jet, and a whole list of big-money nightclub appearances. He’s signed with Joey Essex’s agent and has landed his own tour and – according to media experts – he could be well-placed to launch his own merchandise range and even bag a possible spot on a reality show. All in all, it’s predicted he could rake in a whopping SIX figures by the end of the year.

It’s not bad for seven seconds of dodgy dancing, dodgier fashion sense and The Dodgiest Bowl Haircut (Not On A Lego Figure)TM.

For nowadays you don’t need to work summer seasons in Blackpool or win a talent show to become a star. You can become ‘famous’ just by making the right people laugh, at the right moment in time, as they absent-mindedly scroll through their phone while listening to podcasts. Yep, Fame has reached Peak Fickledom.

So, when the stars and algorithms do align to make you a viral hit, you need to make the most of it. And while Jack’s ‘success’ is all thanks to what is ON his head, it’s what’s inside it which will prove his biggest asset. For in 2025, turning your viral moment in the sun into a longer-term earner is all about savvy strategy, clear thinking and mindset:

Geordies Ant and Dec PhotoShopped with Ibiza Final Boss look
Are Jack Kay/Ibiza Bob’s fellow Geordies Ant and Dec jumping on the Ibiza Final Boss bandwagon?

(*Okay, okay, PhotoShop may have lent a hand). As for the rest of the week? Well, Celebland was throwing us all sorts of surprises…..

Monday mayhem

Be afraid, be very afraid! For the stars of an upcoming new theatre tour have been doing the press rounds this week. And from the sounds of it, there will be no one safe this Halloween and autumn. Indeed, it’s expected to have many a celeb not just quaking but SHAKING, QUAKING, QUIVERING, TREMBLING AND OUTRIGHT SHUDDERING in their boots.

No, it’s not a new take on Phantom of the Opera (albeit some may be haunted by what’s said). Nor is it Saw: The Musical (although that is a multi-million pound idea). It’s the terrifying new two-hander: An Evening With… Katie Price and Kerry Katona. The pair’s tell-all 33-date UK tour was feared to have been cancelled earlier in the summer due to… well, whatever Katie’s snoresome crisis-du-jour was at the time.

Katie Price and Kerry Katona are getting ready for their new tour
Katie Price and Kerry Katona are getting ready for their new tour (But I have a few notes!)(Image: Instagram)

But the pair are back and have now been hitting the interview circuit to give fans a little taste of what to expect. Target one? “Snobby” Strictly – which they publicly dissed this week for having never asked them to take part. (One suspects they’ve now said “Foxtrot Oscar” to any future possibilities too).

Of course, we all know the real dirt will be saved for the show itself. Yet however juicy the eww -some twosome’s tete-a-tete promises to be, I can’t help but wonder if the panto frenemies could have come up with a slightly more, er… spicy format… A WWE-style grudge match with lookalikes of their many nemeses, perhaps? Imagine the commentator yelling to the roaring crowd: “Get Ready to say mi-OWWW! It’s our very own….. Nuclear Cheetah aka Kerry Katona! – from Atomic Kitten to a one-woman weapon of mass destruction…”

Or maybe… they could make it a dramatic retelling of Four Weddings And A Funeral, where Katie’s the bride each time and the funeral’s for her tragic lack of taste? Or finally, what about a musical? After all, KP’s been Defying Gravity for years (with the help of her plastic surgeon).

What a royal twit Tuesday

It’s not been a good week for Royal affairs – of any kind. But a new bombshell biography has cemented one unassailable truth: Young kids fed on fairy tales and Disney movies are far more likely to find themselves a talking warthog or a flying elephant than a real-life Prince Charming.

Yes, a new book by historian Andrew Lownie has claimed Prince Andrew allegedly strayed “more than a dozen” times before his first – yes, first – anniversary with Fergie. Clearly their wedding certificate was not worth the paper it was printed on.

Fergie did have a little something in common with Cinderella however. She was sporting some rather fetching slippers this week. They weren’t glass ones though – they were fluffy numbers emblazoned with the unofficial Royal motto “Never Complain, Never Explain”. It warms the heart, it really does.

Wok you gonna do? Wednesday

The BBC took a leap with its MasterChef dilemma by airing the first episode of the pre-recorded series on Wednesday. Surprisingly they went for primetime BBC1 instead of hiding it on iPlayer only. Presumably they figured they were in for a roasting whatever they did – so they might as well fill a hole in the schedule.

John Torode and Gregg Wallace in the new series of MasterChef, recorded before their two scandals

The real stars of the series are the editors who faced the unenviable task of trying to cut out as much of the under-fire Gregg Wallace and John Torode as possible – which from the looks of the results is a bit like trying to remove excess garlic from a pasta dish. You can’t. Everything’s already tainted.

What I don’t understand is why the Beeb didn’t go with my previous suggestion: just do some deep fake trickery. So what could they replace them with? Let’s see: Option 1: A literal toxic trigger warning; Option 2: Bradley Walsh and Rylan Clark (they’re on everything else anyway); Option 3 (and perhaps most apt): Statler and Waldorf. A couple of muppets… who are completely stuffed.

Half-baked deep fakes? What the BBC could have done to solve their MasterChef problem with hosts Gregg Wallace and John Torode
Half-baked deep fakes? What the BBC could have done to solve their MasterChef problem with hosts Gregg Wallace and John Torode

No relief for kangaroo testicles Thursday

Talking of show formats (see Monday), there was one news story this week that left me feeling a little… well, antsy . What was it? This: “ITV bosses are planning the next five years of I’m A Celebrity…” (really? another FIVE?); “With talks under way to film in the jungle until 2030….” (Wait, 2030 is only five years away??); “When it’ll reach its landmark 30th season”. (30 years? 30? 3-0?)

You mean to say we’ve been watching the same show with the same hosts, same sort of trials, same prize, same location, same set and same set of scandals just with different faces… for nearly 30 YEARS? They say doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome is the very definition of insanity. So either, we can all relate to Peter Andre’s infamous jungle-penned hit Insania – written while a campmate in 2004 – or we really don’t mind the deja vu.

So what can we expect over the next few years? Well, I have two predictions:

Ant and Dec have been doing I'm a Celeb for 25 years and counting
Ant and Dec have been doing I’m a Celeb for 25 years and counting (Image: ITV)

1. Princess and/or Junior Andre will follow in their parents’ footsteps, going back to the scene of the crime special place where the Katie and Peter’s “love” story first began.

2. Following the “success” of political hires Matt Hancock and Nigel Farage, bosses will make a “bigly” play for President Trump at the end of his term. (If he doesn’t rewrite the US Constitution, that is.) After all, there’s been quite a few (thousand) of his type involved in the show before. Fatima Whitbread even got one stuck up her nose… Much to the chagrin of her and the cockroach, I suspect.

Foolish Friday

It was a mixed day for Richard Osman. On the plus side, Netflix released the first trailer for the movie adaptation of his bestselling crime novel The Thursday Murder Club (starring Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren).

Richard Osman
Richard Osman gets loose-lipped on podcast (Image: SKY)

On the downside… Osman – who has produced a number of game shows including Pointless, Total Wipeout, Prize Island, and my absolute FAVOURITE Only Connect – inexplicably decided to tell podcast listeners that quiz shows often use “an algorithm” to stop contestants winning too much money.

It’s obvious to be fair, and while not quite a Gerald Ratner-level own goal, it wasn’t terribly clever. I wouldn’t want to overtly criticise him in a family newspaper, so here’s my verdict – in the style of Only Connect’s Missing Vowels Round. Enjoy! WH TTT LPLNK R*

Picture of the Week

Being a 30-something in today’s world must be tough. There you are, juggling career, love life, social life and saving for an inexplicably-expensive “micro-loft” – and somehow you also have to make time for what’s really important: taking impossibly perfect pics for the ‘Gram.

But it looks like a certain 35-year-old Oscar-winner has got this careful balancing act all figured out. For, Avengers star Brie Larson posted THIS video on Instagram this week.

Brie Larson's balancing act - how is she doing that?
Brie Larson’s quirky balancing act – HOW IS SHE DOING THAT?(Image: Instagram)
Brie as Captain Marvel
Brie as Captain Marvel: yes, she can save the universe and the fabric of time itself, but can she balance on one stiletto heel atop a can of peaches?(Image: Handout)

And while she might be steady as a rock, I – as Gen Z would say – “am shook” . In fact I’m more impressed by this feat than by any of her big screen Captain Marvel antics.

Brie, who is promoting her new tome, Party People, accompanied this video with a quip: “My social media manager said this will sell 1,000 books. So here I am.” The book in question is a “cookbook for creative celebrations” with “endless ideas for weird and wacky parties” – which goes some way to explaining this impressive-yet-leftfield marketing campaign.

Personally, I’m most amazed by her superhuman pain threshold. For, anyone who has experienced the inherent cruelty of the modern-day torture device known as a stiletto heel, will appreciate that this is not just a demonstration of core strength, stability and precision… but of sheer, sheer, sheer ENDURANCE.

So how did she do it? The way I see it, there’s only one explanation: she’s in the wrong franchise… the girl’s a Wonder Woman for sure.

What do you think? Have you seen some funny celeb moments this week? Let me know in comment or on X/Instagram via @JessicaBoulton

Love Island fans work out real reason Yasmin was crying in the final after she sparks concern

LOVE Island fans claim they’ve figured out the real reason Yasmin Pettet was in tears during the series finale.

Yas, 24, who finished third with Jamie Rhodes, 26, was spotted crying behind host Maya Jama as she interviewed second-place pairing Shakira Khan and Harry Cooksley.

Emotions were running high on the night and viewers originally believed she was weeping over her friends’ success.

But last night Yasmin revealed her beloved pet cat Miaow Miaow died while she was in the villa and fans think she might have learned the news during the finale.

Yasmin explained she had a gut feeling something wasn’t right while she was in the villa.

And her mum, Mitra, and sister, Zara, told her the white lie that “everything was fine” when they visited as part of the the Meet The Parents episode.

But people are now speculating the sad news somehow got to Yasmin before filming wrapped on Monday night.

One wrote on Facebook: “I bet that’s why she was crying in the background.”

Another said: “Maybe that’s why she was crying during the final as well.”

The reality star spoke lovingly about her cat numerous times in the villa.

Her partner Jamie even gifted her a ring with a paw on it because he knew she loved her cat so much.

Announcing Miaow Miaow’s death, Yasmin wrote on Instagram: “As I’ve spoken about her on the show I’m sure a lot of you will know I have a cat called miaow miaow who’s been by my side for 11 years now.

Viewers confused as Love Island star makes reference to fan nickname for her and ask ‘how does she know?’

“When I was filming Love Island I had a bad gut feeling something
was off and when my mum and sister came into the villa I asked
them and still felt like something was off.”

She continued: “Rightfully they didn’t tell me because I was still in the villa but after the final I called my sister and she told me that miaow miaow had cancer and died whilst I was away filming Love Island.”

Yasmin explained she was doing her best to maintain a visible presence online in light of the news, but it was proving hard.

She said: “I’m trying to be as active as I can be on socials but am taking time for myself to process this heartbreak.

“RIP to my beautiful baby girl, you were so loved and will always be
in my soul.”

Yasmin returned to social media yesterday to thank fans for supporting her on the show.

She said: “My love island journey has been crazy to say the least but I really wouldn’t have been able to do it without my Jamie, Toni and Shakira.

“I feel so grateful and blessed and can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

Jamie, who affectionately describes Yasmin as having ‘black cat energy‘, made his feelings toward her, writing: “Absolutely smashed it, wouldn’t want to do the journey with anyone else.”

Toni Laites and Cach Mercer were announced as the winners of Love Island 2025.

During the finale, Yasmin’s twin sister Zara and mum Mitra hosted a TikTok livestream.

Speaking in the clip, Mitra said: “What you don’t understand is this is not a paid vote.

“If it’s not a paid vote, you cannot see the results. That means they can say whatever they want.

“Do you understand? For you to see the result – a correct result that people vote – you have to pay cash.

“Because this is free voting, they decide.”

Mitra referenced Yasmin and Dejon writing each other’s names on their boards during a villa game.

The Islanders were asked who they’d couple up with if their actual partner wasn’t in the villa.

She added: “I always knew after that episode that Yasmin’s not going to win – because of the way they edited it.”

The Sun approached ITV for comment.

ITV later released the finale’s voting percentages, as they do each year.

Winners Toni and Cach secured an impressive 33.5 percent of the audience’s support.

Shakira and Harry drew a sizeable 26.2 percent of the votes, while Yas and Jamie were not far behind taking 22 percent.

Aesthetics practitioner Angel, 26, only made her debut on July 17, and managed to secure 18.3 percent of the overall voting audience with Casa Amor boy Ty.

Maya Jama’s £27 anti-frizz treatment kept her hair sleek and shiny for the Love Island finale

Maya Jama’s hair stylist has shared exactly how to recreate her sleek and glossy Love Island finale hair, including the £27 treatment that stopped frizzing in the humidity

Monday night’s Love Island finale may have finally revealed who would be crowned this season’s winner, but we still have some burning questions of our own. Namely, how did Maya Jama get her hair to stay so smooth and shiny in the Spanish heat?

With plenty of us jetting off on holiday this summer, we’ve all had our hair fall foul of the humidity, with the high temperatures and damp air leaving our hair frizzy, dry and dull looking. However Maya’s hair has never looked glossier, so we turned to her hair stylist Jay Birmingham for answers.

Jay said: “For Maya’s Love Island finale hair, we wanted to create a dreamy, effortless look.” To make sure her hair stayed sleek and frizz-free throughout the finale, one of the first things he applied to Maya’s hair was the Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray (£27).

Jay shared that he applied it in sections before blow-drying Maya’s hair with the Dyson supersonic hairdryer, which helps to activate the treatment and creates that mirror-like shine that the Love Island host’s hair is famous for. The Color Wow spray also makes your hair waterproof, wards off humidity, protects from heat damage and seals in moisture, making it a saviour to bring in your suitcase.

Once her hair was dried, Jay used a GHD styling iron to enhance the curl definition, with particular focus on the ends. The curls were then brushed out to turn them into softer and looser waves, rather than rigid curls, to give it a more fluid look without too much texture.

The shine was why we were all so fixated on Maya’s hair, and to double up on the gloss factor Jay also added the Split Seal Serum from his own haircare brand, Jay B Haircare. This smoothed the hair and gave it that extra glossy finish.

Finally, to make sure there wasn’t a strand out of place during the finale’s drama, Jay used Living Proof’s Style Lab Flex Hair Spray to seal everything in place. He added that the hairspray is “one of my go-tos for creating effortless, flowing styles. It holds without stiffness and keeps the hair touchable and brushable throughout the night.”

And there you have it – one ultra-glossy, mirror-like shiny ‘do that Maya herself would be proud of. Now just don’t forget to pack them in your suitcase.

Love Island’s Yasmin Pettet has been dealt with heartbreak just days after leaving the villa. The reality star, 24, made it to the final of the latest series of the ITV2 reality dating show, and finished in third place with now-boyfriend Jamie Rhodes but just days after the programme drew to a close, she has revealed that her cat Miaow Miaow passed away while she was filming.

On Wednesday, she wrote on a black background on her Instagram story: “As I’ve spoken about her on the show I’m sure a lot of you will know I have a cat called miaow miaow who’s been by my side for 11 years now. When I was filming Love Island I had a bad gut feeling something was off and when my mum and sister came into the villa I asked them and still felt like something was off.”

Revealing that her family chose not to tell of her of the tragedy at the time and she was informed by her sister once filming had finished, she added: “Rightfully they didn’t tell me because I was still in the villa but after the final I called my sister and she told me that miaow miaow had cancer and died whilst I was away filming Love Island.” It comes after Love Island fans fume as third place couple announced as Yas and Jamie.

Despite the heartbreak, Yasmin recently spoke of her positive experience in the villa after finishing third with boyfriend Jamie (Image: ITV/Shutterstock)

The commercial banking executive assured her fans that she was trying to keep up with her social media as much as possible but also explained to her near-350,000 followers that she needs time to deal with the ‘heartbreak’ she has had to endure. She added: “I’m trying to be as active as I can on socials, but am taking time for myself to process this heartbreak., RIP to my beautiful baby girl, you were so loved and will always be in my soul.”

Yasmin’s feline friend had been mentioned several times during her time in the Love Island villa, and her fans flooded social media as they sent her their sympathy. Many had been moved to tears by the news, and one admitted: “Yasmin sharing the news that her cat passed away whilst in the villa is actually the most gut-wrenching thing I could imagine and my heart is breaking for her imagine being so excited to see her miaow miaow and her baby isn’t there anymore.”

Clearly shocked at the news after the cat had been a topic of conversation during the Meet the Family segment on the show, one said: “I’m crying cos she straight away asked her mum and sister how Miaow miaow was when they visited the villa and they had to lieeeeeeeee,” whilst another viewer said: “Nooo Yasmins cat Miaow Miaow died while she was in the villa and she was talking about how excited she was for Jamie to meet her.” Another fan wrote: “Not the icon miaow miaow passing away. It was Yasmin’s cat from love island that died while she was in the villa.”

Despite the sad news, Yasmin’s first post upon exiting the villa spoke of her positive experience on the show, and she thanked some of her co-stars throughout her time in the competition. She wrote: “My love island journey has been crazy to say the least but I really wouldn’t have been able to do it without my Jamie, Toni and Shakira. I feel so grateful and blessed and can’t wait to see what the future holds.” When she and her significant other were announced as the third place couple, were not overly impressed that they had finished behind Harry and Shakira before Cach and Toni claimed the £50,000 prize.

One user said on X/Twitter: “Not my winners third,” while another person: “Harry sneaking to top 2 over yas and jamie someone hand me a gun.” One disappointed fan commented: “I’m lowkey shocked yas and jamie are 3rd.”

“Yas and Jamie 3rd place???? Can the UK do anything right,” one said and one posted: “I wasn’t expecting yas and jamie as 3rd actually.” Meanwhile, Angel and Ty were announced as the fourth place couple. The two are now ‘exclusive’, with Ty said: “It’s definitely going in the right direction,” before adding he was looking forward to the outside world with her.

Love Island producers ‘forced to buy more condoms’ as unaired scenes turned ‘messy’

Another series of Love Island has sadly come to an end as millions watched Toni and Cach take the crown last night – but one raunchy secret was kept on the downlow – until now…

Last night, millions watched on as Toni and Cach took home the crown in what has been named as the raunchiest Love Island series yet.

The 12th series of the iconic ITV2 reality show had more arguments than we can count, but there was reportedly a lot more going on behind closed doors as producers

OG fans who watched the show back from 2015 will remember ITV showing some NSF work scenes, most memorably the explicit ‘over the covers’ scene with Terry and Emma in season 2. Now, things are much more reserved, but it doesn’t mean things don’t happen off camera. It comes after Maya Jama shared her true feelings over Harry and Shakira’s reunion.

Harrison and Lauren

Spilling all the tea to Christine Lampard on Tuesday morning’s Lorraine the day after the final, Aftersun panellist Joe Baggs revealed this had been the ‘raunchiest’ season in history – with producers having to make one huge change to cater to the contestants.

Speaking to Christine asked whether it was true that it had been the raunchiest series to date.

Letting ITV viewers in on some behind the scenes raunchy secrets, Joe said: “Yes. There’s been a lot going on in that bedroom. I actually went in to the bedroom.

“They had a night where the camera was off and it was quite a mess,” he laughed. “Apparently they had to bring in extra condoms, extra protection for this series of Love Island and they used them all up.

Meg and Dejon in bed
Fans were left ‘horrified’ by Meg and Dejon’s intimate scenes days before the final(Image: ITV)

“I actually saw quite a few packets on the floor, so…” he said as Christine expressed her shock.

This series, fans were left shocked during one particular scene between Harrison, Lauren, Harry and Helena. As the Islanders got cosy in bed, Harrison and Lauren decided it wasn’t time for lights out just yet – as he reached over to ask Harry and Helena if he could borrow a condom.

Harrison could be seen reaching over to Helena and Harry’s bed via the night cam, as he asked: “Do you have a condom?”

Harry and Helena could be seen in hysterics as Helena quickly pulled one out the drawer, with Harry passing it over. The couple then got under the covers, as the cameras panned to them kissing – but not much more was shown.

And just days before the final, fans were left “horrified” during some very raunchy bedroom scenes between Meg and Dejon.

After kissing and making up following their huge spat after date night, Meg and Dejon were filmed getting hot and steamy under the blankets, but viewers were less than impressed as they called the scenes ‘disgusting’.

Love Island host Maya Jama shares true feelings over Shakira and Harry reunion

Love Island 2025’s Harry was surprised to hear what host Maya Jama really thought of him and Shakira reuniting and making it to the final after recent comments on the series

Love Island host Maya Jama wasted no time in telling runners-up Shakira and Harry what she really thought

Love Island host Maya Jama wasted no time in telling runners-up Shakira and Harry what she really thought of their romance during the live final on Monday night. The pair have been on and off and in multiple triangles throughout the series.

But in the last week or so, the Love Island pair reconciled against all odds and seemed to be in it for good this time. Despite dividing viewers and co-stars with their latest reunion, host Maya surprised Harry with what she had to say on Monday.

The presenter gave her true thoughts on the pair, having called out Harry for his behaviour towards Helena and others in a previous episode. It comes as Toni and Cach were announced as this year’s winners, beating Shakira and harry to the prize money.

Harry shared his shock though, as Maya admitted this time it felt different between them. Having seen clips of them together for the final week and the final day, she said watching them she could see it was genuine.

She shared: “Well you both look very happy with each other. It’s nice to see you two together in the final. You both look really… I dunno. The last couple of days I’ve been watching you like, this is cute. This is cute.”

Harry couldn’t hide the shock on his face as he said: “Yeah? I never thought you’d say that to me, Maya.” Agreeing, she replied: “I know, can you believe it? Me calling you cute.

“But you are here in the final. There is obviously something the public have seen that is obviously giving love story.” It comes as the All Stars series was confirmed to return to ITV2 and ITVX for a third series in 2026.

Speaking on the renewal, Mike Spencer-Hayter, Creative Director at Lifted Entertainment, said: “Love Island: All Stars has quickly established itself as a stand-alone hit, keeping fans of the show gripped by iconic Islanders from the past 10 years returning for another chance to find love.

“We are very excited about series 3 and you can expect the twists and turns to continue in All Stars, after an incredible smash hit summer series.” The second series of Love Island : All Stars aired earlier this year, and was won by Gabby Allen and Case O’Gorman. The series also saw the reunion of Ronnie Vint and Harriet Blackmore – but it didn’t come without complaints.

In February, the show lodged over 2,000 complaints to Ofcom in its final week, as fans fumed at various stars for their “bullying behaviour”. On February 12, there were 1,347 complaints, followed by 820 on February 11, 63 on February 13 and 57 on February 16.

The February 12 episode saw Ekin-Su and Elma clash over the latter’s comment about Ekin-Su and Curtis having the weakest connection. Things only got worse between the group when Ekin-Su had kissed Sammy during the heart rate challenge. During the argument, an angry Elma swore at Ekin-Su and Curtis and told them to “shut their mouths”.

Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins in chaos as two more stars quit within A MINUTE of each other

TWO more stars have quit Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins in chaotic scenes.

The brutal Channel 4 show returned for a new series on Sunday night, with 14 famous faces attempting to push themselves to the max.

However, the first episode saw S Club singer Hannah Spearritt quit on day one, closely followed by former Dancing on Ice judge, Louie Spence.

The second episode aired tonight and within minutes, a further two celebrities ripped off their arm bands and called it quits.

The stars were tasked with trekking up a hill, before taking on the challenge of hanging from a wire over a ravine.

However, Love Island star Chloe Burrows struggled on the climb, having already told her co-stars that she was finding the demands of the show difficult.

As she was berated by the Special Forces staff for her moaning noises, she ripped off her arm band and told them between gasps for breath: “I can’t do it.”

The DS was furious and yelled: “Can’t do what? We’ve walked 300 metres up a f***ing hill!”

He then told Chloe she was “wasting a massive opportunity” but through her tears, she told him: “I’m done, I’m done.”

After handing over her arm band, she headed down the hill, chucking her water bottle before taking off her backpack and saying: “F*** off, this is the worst thing I have ever done in my whole life!”

But Chloe wasn’t alone for long, as within a minute she was joined by another former Love Islander.

The group continued climbing the hill, and the DS drilled number 5 – Tasha Ghouri – telling her to “dig deep” as she lagged behind.

But an exhausted and struggling Tasha held up her arm band and told the shocked DS: “I’m not mentally here. I’m not mentally here to do this.”

After heading down the hill, the two women reunited and discussed their sudden exits from the course.

Tasha said: “You have to be so mentally strong to do this.”

Chloe replied: “And physically.”

Harry Cooksley is set to reveal a major ‘regret’ he has about his romance with Shakira Khan during the Love Island final. The footballer, 30, has made it to the end of the ITV2 dating programme with Shakira, 22, and is set to have an open and honest chat with her before they could be potentially be crowned winners of the latest series.

Shakira starts things off by saying: “Doing this experience without you and watching things unfold was so hard because I felt so strongly towards you. You’re everything I could possibly want in a partner. It’s been an amazing last week and I’m excited for the future.”

Prior to coupling up with Shakira, Harry had a long-standing romance with Helena Ford and then his ex-girlfriend Emma Munro made a shock entrance to the villa before leaving in the weeks leading up to the final. It comes after reports of all the celebrities rumoured to be joining BBC Strictly Come Dancing 2025 .

The finalists all dress up in their best outfits for one last dinner together as part of the last episode of the series (Image: ITV/Shutterstock)

Shakira was initially coupled up with Harry in the early weeks of the competition, but they got together again just days ahead of the final and he told her: “I came in here and thought it would be a lot of fun. Finding you in a Villa in Mallorca was not on my bingo card this summer. I do regret taking too long to tell you how I felt. We both know this is more than surface level – I think it always has been for me.”

During the build-up to the winning reveal, Shakira receives a text that reads: ” Islanders. Tonight you will have a very special finalists’ dinner. #FinalFeels #OneLastEvening,” and she, along with Harry, and the remaining couples Yasmin Pettet and Jamie Rhodes, Ty Isherwood and Angel Swift, as well as Cach Mercer and Toni Laites will all be seen in the garden wearing their finest for their last night in the villa.

Toni says to Cach: “I don’t think I tell you enough but the way you treat me has made this whole wacky-ass experience worth it. I think everyone has seen how happy you make me. I’m really thankful to be here with you. In response, Cach says to Toni: I feel like our journey has been a rollercoaster, I’m grateful for every moment. You make me feel very comfortable in here. And I don’t think I could’ve done it with anyone else to be honest with you.

Angel then decides to tell Ty that she is ‘everything’ she looks for in a man, and adds: “You’re thoughtful, you make me laugh, and I also fancy the pants off you. I couldn’t be happier.”

In response, Ty tells her: “I want to thank you and the Love Island gods for sending you in. I feel like it was at a time when I didn’t know where I was. You came at the perfect time. You’re everything that I look for in a girl. I feel like I am really falling for you.”

Meanwhile, Yas reflects on her journey with Jamie and declares to him: “You just get me completely. I don’t tell you enough but I’m so genuinely appreciative of you and everything you’ve done for me in here. You’ve made me so happy,” and Jamie responds with: “Obviously when I came into the Villa, I sat down and had a conversation with you – instantly the energy was matched and I knew from that moment you were the girl that I wanted to be spending my time with in here.”

Shakira and Harry are currently the bookies’ favourites to win the whole series and walk away with the cash prize of £50,000, with odds of 10/11 whilst Toni and Cach have odds of 7/4, Yasmin and Jamie’s odds stand at 4/1 and Angel and Ty are at 20/1.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “The odds have spoken and it looks as though Shakira and Harry have peaked at just the right time… punters reckon they’ll finish in first place ahead of Toni and Cach, with Yasmin and Jamie rounding out the podium places tonight.” However, Harry’s time in the villa has not been without its controversy.

The part-time player had caught the eye of both Shakira and Helena among others during his time in the villa. So Harry’s club, who play in the Southern Premier League, asked his pals back in the UK which woman he is better suited to. Even manager Paul Johnson waded in on the TikTok video, musing: “Bin off Shakira, 100 per cent. She’s a drip, nosy b***h.”

And the comments kept coming as a squad member went on: “Get rid of Shakira, she is as annoying as f**k,” as another helpfully mused: “I don’t care, just get him back here and get him running.” When it came time for contestants to meet the families of their co-stars, one fan savagely predicted he would be going ‘straight to hell’ for the way he had behaved.

They wrote on X: “finally caught up to love island UK…Harry, you’re going straight to hell’ as the famous section of the show geared up to return. One viewer felt so passionate about not wanting Harry and Shakira to be together that they admitted they ‘not watch the rest’ of the series if that is the way things go.

Love Island is the sexiest series in a decade after steamy romps, Hideaway sleepovers and very rude term for bedroom act

THIS is officially Love Island’s sauciest season for nearly a decade, with crew forced to take action on behalf of frisky cast.

It comes after Islanders coined a new term for one sex act based on footballer Andy Carroll.

For the first time since 2016, production took the step of ordering in more condoms to ensure there was protection available.

They took action after it became apparent this year’s cast were keen to get hands on.

A source said: “It’s been a long while since there’s been as much action in the bedroom as this year.

“When Harry and Helena went into the Hideaway just 56 hours into the series it set the ball rolling and it’s been a particularly feral year.

“There’s been duvet tents most nights.

“Obviously duty of care is paramount so producers stocked up on condoms to ensure there were enough for the run.”

Viewers were shocked when the ITV2 dating show aired scenes of randy Harrison Solomon asking Harry Cookseley, who slept in the next bed, to pass him a condom in the middle of the night.

Harrison slept with Lauren Wood twice before she lost her place in a vote and he followed her out.

But others have gone all the way too, including girlfriend and boyfriend Meg Moore and Dejon Williams.

As part of their duty of care process, ITV are careful what they air and usually wait for the Islanders to consent to sex scenes being screened.

The girls admitted to performing “Handy Carolls” on their boys, though, in cheeky new terminology.

But ex-Islander Mitch Taylor told the Sun he was put off going all the way in the villa during his 2023 series because of show procedure.

He said: “Even if you shuffled about it in bed a bit, you’d go to the beach hut the next day and production are going ‘did you wear a condom?’

“It’s like instant production c*ckblock for me, the next day production asking 21 questions.

“That killed it for me to be honest.”

Fans have always considered Love Island’s 2016 series its sauciest year, when Alex Bowen and now wife Olivia plus Zara Holland, Terry Walsh and Emma Jane Woodhams set the screen alight.

Dejon and Meg break silence after Love Island axe and reveal plan to ‘prove everyone wrong’

DESPITE being the only pair in an official relationship, Love Island’s Dejon Noel-Williams and Meg Moore found themselves brutally dumped at the end of last night’s instalment.

The former islanders returned to cast their votes about which couple was the least compatible between Dejon and Meg and Ty Isherwood and Angel Swift.

After receiving the most votes, the OG pair were forced to pack their bags and leave the villa – just a day before the all-important final.

Now that they’re out, the two have broken their silence and revealed their plan to “prove everyone wrong”.

When asked what was next for the pair, Meg, who recently sparked outrage, responded: “Proving to everyone we are actually going to stay together! Spending time together and introducing one another to family and friends.”

Dejon echoed these sentiments by adding: “I definitely want to have a conversation with her family, get to know them and have her meet my family so they can see the real us.

“A lot of the Islanders saw how genuine we were and I have no doubt it will be like that with our families.

“After that hopefully we can move in together as I can’t imagine not living with her.”

Dejon and Meg, who hit the rocks this week, have been the subject of plenty of criticism from their fellow islanders and viewers alike, with many questioning if Dejon was playing a game.

The two paired up from day one but found themselves at loggerheads due to Dejon’s flirty antics with numerous bombshells.

In last night’s episode, Maya Jama returned to the villa and revealed one couple would be dumped from the island and the decision was in the hand of some familiar faces.

One by one the ex-Islanders had their say, leaving the couples at risk less than impressed by their comments.

Love Island OG’s Meg and Dejon DUMPED by returning islanders

After much back and forth, Meg and Dejon received 10 votes, while Angel and Ty received 8 votes.

Fans were left elated at home as they flocked to X to share their excitement about Dejon and Meg leaving the ITV2 show.

One viewer wrote: “The timing for Megan and Dejon being dumped is so perfect.”

Another person gushed: “Finally Meg and Dejon are gone, I prayed for times like this! And that was such an epic way to dump them too, love a good revenge vote.”

Somebody else expressed: “Meg and Dejon finally off my screen and out of the villa! I love to see it.”

A fourth commented: “It’s been a long time coming, thank you ex-islanders for getting rid of Meg and Dejon.”

While a fifth added: “Meg and Dejon being dumped makes me feel like I’m going to have a great week.”

The savage dumping means there are four couples that are vying to win the series – Jamie and Yasmin, Cach and Toni, Harry and Shakira and Ty and Angel.

Maya will return to the villa in Majorca one last time to reveal the outcome of the public’s vote, with one pair being crowned champions of series 12 and walking away with £50,000.

The Scottish beauty, who was runner-up in the 2018 series, believes former Las Vegas cabana server Toni and dancer Cach deserve to scoop the £50,000 prize.

Toni brought Cach back from the other villa, Casa Amor, but left him in tears after deciding to reconcile with lothario Harrison Solomon.

However, since Harrison left the show, Toni and Cach have become the bookies’ favourites after winning the hearts of viewers with their rocky romance.

Laura said: “I think if Toni and Cach won, the general public would be very happy.

“Toni is my favourite and watching Cach get upset and then seeing them get back together . . . it was a lovely little story.”

Speaking about the Meet The Parents episode, in which sees the contestants’ families visit the villa, Laura said: “It was incredible to see Toni’s mum say such lovely words to Cach.

“It was a really nice moment. I thought it was really sweet.”

And her thoughts on their rivals for the prize, such as Yasmin Pettet and Jamie Rhodes, and Shakira and Harry?

Laura says: “Yas has really surprised me and I just think she is great, she is just so authentic. Her and Jamie seem really happy and sweet.

“I love Harry and Shakira as a couple. I really hope Harry can prove himself and I think Shakira is really emotionally mature.”

Laura’s comments come as it was revealed Love Island has been hit with more than 9,000 complaints in just one week, mostly about alleged bullying behaviour towards Shakira.

The villa had been split into two girl groups, with Shakira, Toni and Yasmin on one side and Helena, Meg Moore and Megan Clarke on the other.

Laura said: “I think Toni and Shakira’s relationship has honestly been the real highlight of this series, which has been quite nice to see.

“ Normally it is the bromances that hit the headlines.

“There has been a divide between the girls and I think this ‘mean girl energy’ is unacceptable.”

Laura also believes that Love Island is a healthy way to encourage conversations around relationships.

She said: “I think holding young people accountable for their behaviour is a great thing and I hope that filters through into real life.

“My favourite thing, apart from just watching people fall in love, is watching them grow and develop.

“I honestly think Love Island made me a better person. You become more self-aware.

“There has been so much switching around of couples this series.

“ I don’t think there has ever been so many couples – and that causes a lot of different emotions.

“It has been an emotional rollercoaster.

“There has been a lot of drama, and it is entertaining for us at home.

“I think the after-care will be ramped up a little bit this year just because so much has happened.”

Who was dumped from Love Island last night?

LOVE Island 2025 is coming to an end, with two old islanders returning to the fold in the penultimate week, before being booted off again — one of them for the second time this series.

With the drama continuing to simmer beneath the surface, we’re surely in for a heated conclusion to this year’s summer of love.

Who left Love Island?

On July 31, 2025, the night’s episode ended with a text revealing: “Islanders. The public have been voting for their favourite couple.

“The couple with the fewest votes and therefore dumped from the island is…”

Helena and Blu were voted the least popular and told they would be leaving the villa immediately.

Helena joined Love Island 2025 as OG islander, and her time on the show was packed with drama.

She initially coupled with Conor, but soon switched to Harry — then there was the love triangle involving herself, Shakira and Harry.

Alongside Blu, she was booted off the show on Thursday, July 31, having been voted the public’s least favourite remaining couple.

Blu Chegini

In probably the most savage scene on Love Island this year, Blu Chegini was dumped from the villa.

After Shea and Remell slow-mo walked their way into the hearts of the girls, only one managed to couple up as Alima picked Remell.

Blu was therefore left single alongside Shea and in a cruel twist, the pair had to decide which one of them should leave.

After the pair exchanged a war of words and were left decision-less, the choice fell to the group, who picked to keep newbie Shea.

However, his exit was only temporary as he has returned for the show’s penultimate week.

But then he was dumped YET AGAIN after being voted the least popular couple alongside Helena.

Billykiss was dumped from the villa after her fellow islanders decided to save Angel over her.

She said: “Obviously it’s sad for your journey to be cut short but I’m very happy with the experience I had.

“I made some great friendships and explored some connections, which unfortunately didn’t blossom into anything.

“Overall it was a very eventful experience.”

She left one day after her current flame Boris.

The Casa Amor bombshell was kicked out alongside fellow least popular islander Emily.

Boris was in a couple with Billykiss upon his return from Casa Amor, but quickly found a spark with fellow bombshell Emma Munro.

Boris said: “Someone has to be dumped, but I’m a little bit sad that I was voted the least favourite.”

Emma caused shockwaves during her time in the villa, with it being revealed that she was Harry Cooksley’s ex-girlfriend of five years!

While she found romance with other Islanders, it also seemed like there was a potential reunion on the cards for the ex flames, although that never came to fruition.

On her exit, Emma said: “I feel fine.

“I had a good run and I left with my love interest, so I think it was the best way to go.”

Harrison Solomon

The love triangle that gripped and concerned the nation was the ultimate cause for Harrison leaving the villa.

The 22-year-old decided to leave the villa after he was unable to choose between Toni and Lauren, leaving them both in tears.

As a result, Women’s Aid issued a statement condemning his behaviour and criticising the ITV reality show for perpetuating misogyny and sexism.

Lauren Wood

After the arrival of new bombshell Angel, the Islanders played the Couple of Sorts game, where they were asked to predict which three boys Angel would find the most attractive.

Conor was placed third, with Harry second and Ty coming out on top.

Ty then received a text telling him that he had been coupled up with Angel, leaving Lauren single and, therefore, dumped from the villa.

Lauren’s time in the villa was cut short, but managed to find herself tangled up in the love triangle with Toni and Harrison.

While Lucy managed to outlast many of her fellow Casa Amor entrants.

But her time in the villa came to an end in yet another twist.

Tommy was another OG boy brutally dumped from the villa after another couple believed him and Lucy to be the least compatible couple.

Reflecting on his Love Island journey, Tommy said he is “really proud” to have put himself outside of his comfort zone and is “grateful for the opportunity”.

The 22-year-old’s exit from the villa definitely made an impact, considering he was one of the last remaining original boys.

Ben Holbrough

Ben fell foul of the OG exodus, after leaving in a brutal twist.

The 23-year-old found himself dumped as one half of the latest least compatible couple.

He said in his exit interview: “A lot of the older guys in there spoke to me and helped me deal with situations better.

I’m definitely coming out of the Villa a better person.

“And of course, I’m leaving with Andrada, she’s a gorgeous girl and I’m looking forward to getting to know her on the outside.”

After Ben and Andrada received the fewest votes from the public, their time in the villa was over, and while Andrada’s time was short-lived, it didn’t come without its fireworks.

The Miss Bikini Ireland 2019 winner entered the villa as a Casa Amor bombshell and tempted Ben.

But just as she finished unpacking, the Irish beauty was sent packing.

At least she won’t have to worry about an airport transfer with her new private hire taxi driver beau.

The Casa Amor Fallen

Emily was a pre-existing Love Islander before Casa Amor, but found herself single after Tommy’s head was turned.

Lucy caught his eye, and Emily did not manage to find a connection with anyone new, leaving her at risk of being dumped.

Reflecting on how it felt to be leaving the villa, Emily said: “I had the best time. I don’t feel sad about leaving, it was my time to go. I stayed true to myself. I wouldn’t change it for the world!”

Giorgio Russo

Giorgio didn’t have long in the villa and his decision to remain single after Casa Amor only backfired as he was then dumped from the Island.

He said: “I had the best time. I don’t feel sad about leaving, it was my time to go. I stayed true to myself. I wouldn’t change it for the world!”

Giorgio’s summer holidays did not end there as he immediately flew out to Switzerland to support Lioness sister Alessia in her bid for back-to-back Euro glory.

Rheo had a connection with Harry in Casa Amor but he chose to recouple with Helena, which meant Rheo was single and therefore dumped.

Asked how it felt to be leaving the villa, Rheo said: “It feels bittersweet, I think I was led astray slightly by Harry.

“But who’s going to be shocked by that really, Harry’s going to be Harry! I don’t think anyone should trust him.”

Yas Broom

Yas time in the villa came to an abrupt end when no one chose to recouple with her in Casa Amor.

The Manchester-based DJ and former X Factor contestant was another victim of the brutal Casa Amor.

“It feels a bit surreal,” she said when asked how it felt to leave the villa.

“I feel like it definitely went really quick, I wish I had a bit longer in there. I made some great connections!”

Unfortunately for Chris, none of the girls chose to recouple with him.

He told ITV: “We all go in there looking for a spark and a connection and you know quite quickly if you’ve found that. While people were saying it was wide open, there were quite a few girls that were sticking with their original boys. Grateful for the experience.

“Met a great group of lads and spent time in the main villa so you can’t turn your nose up at that, I just wish it was for longer.”

Martin was the second Casa Amor boy to not be chosen to return to the main villa, and was dumped from the Island.

He said: “[I feel] gutted obviously but still grateful for the experience.

“Even if it didn’t work out, overall it was great to know everyone because they were mad lovely.”

Alima Gagigo

Fans were gutted by the exit of OG Alima, who was sent packing after failing to make a romantic connection with Remell.

As one of the originals, she failed to make it to Casa Amor, and meet a potential new connection.

Alima said upon her exit: “It’s a mix of emotions, I’ve been there since the start, so it’s bittersweet, but at the same time, I just can’t wait to wear no makeup for days and weeks now!”

Having only just arrived in the villa, it’s safe to say Ryan’s dumping was slightly overshadowed by the exit of long-standing islander Alima.

Ryan entered the villa as a bombshell alongside Billykiss Azeez and set his sights on Toni Laites and Shakira, however he failed to turn heads and was dumped after just 48 hours.

Still, it appears the late arrival enjoyed his time in Majorca, saying: “Being in the villa and seeing it first-hand was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! As short as it was, it was still amazing.”

Remell Mullins

Remell was victim to a dreaded public vote.

The public were tasked with choosing their favourite boy and girl in the villa, but in a brutal twist it turned out that the islanders with the lowest votes would be sent home.

Remell ended up being revealed as the man with the fewest votes, behind Ben and Harry.

Earlier in the week, Alima had ended things with Remell after she discovered he had repeatedly kissed bombshell Poppy while on the sleepover.

Karma is real…

Megan Clarke

Megan was another victim of the public vote which saw Remell leave the villa.

It emerged she had received the fewest votes when the viewers had been asked to pick their favourite boy and girl, with her receiving the least out of her, Shakira and Toni.

It had been a dramatic week after Megan built a connection with Conor, leading to the end of things with Tommy, with whom she had seemed to be in a secure couple.

After the bottom three were revealed to be her, Shakira and Toni, it was confirmed that she would be the one packing her bags.

But her exit was only temporary as she returned for the final week.

Shea Mannings

The exit of Shea was the biggest shock of the night.

AfteHelena, Dejon, Emily and Remell had all been chosen by the new bombshells to enter the sleepover villa, they were then told by Maya  to choose if they wanted to stick in their current couple or recouple.

The former cabin crew hostess, Helena, was the only one who decided to recouple, choosing Lioness Alessia Russo’s bombshell brother, Giorgio.

The decision left Shea single, and after receiving a text telling the semi-professional footballer that his time was up, he knew he was not getting any extra time in the villa.

After leaving, the dad-of-one shared his thoughts on his relationship with Helena.

He said: “I think it was more of a friendship to be honest, so she was probably correct to make her decision.

“It was just a friend thing but we were going to explore it anyway.”

He added: “Obviously you never know, but as soon as I found out I was single, I kind of knew my time was up. I was just gutted.”

Caprice Alexandra

Caprice was one of two blonde bombshells to have entered the villa to shake up the couples.

However, the 26-year-old nursery owner was sent back to Romford after Dejon decided to stick with his partner Meg.

But after leaving the villa, Caprice did not hold back about the reason she left.

She said: “I expected it. From the beginning I felt like he knew what he was going to do.

“I think he’s playing a bit of a game though, but I expected it from him.”

Poppy Harrison

As the second of our blonde bombshells to enter the villa in recent days, Poppy chose to try and steal Remell.

She invited the influencer to the sleepover villa, but failed to win him over.

Instead Remell chose to stay coupled with Alima, leaving Poppy single.

After leaving the villa, Poppy was confused on why she had been dumped.

The bombshell said: “[I am] shocked and surprised.

“I feel like Remell perhaps didn’t go with his true feelings, he said less than 12 hours before on the truth or dare game that he’d recouple with me, and he wanted to take things further.”

Will was yet another bombshell who made an early exit.

The Norfolk-born and bred fitness trainer and farmer chose to swoon Emily.

But while Will means well, he was no match for 25-year-old Irish rugby player Conor.

Emily chose to stick with Conor, leaving Will single.

Malisha Jordan

It had been a relatively calm week ahead of Wednesday’s night mass axing.

Before the four islanders were dumped, Malisha was the most recent singleton to leave the villa on June 18.

The 24-year-old teaching assistant was a late arrival to the villa.

She had tried to win the heart of Dejon, who decided to stay coupled with original beau Meg, leaving Malisha single.

She was not alone after Toni had also been left single in a dramatic recoupling.

However, the choice came down to 22-year-old Harrison Solomon to decide the girls’ fate.

Malisha’s time in the villa came to an end after Harrison decided to save Toni.

Sophie Lee

On June 11, 2025, former fire-breather Sophie Lee was dumped in a brutal twist, making her the first islander to leave the villa.

The 29-year-old was evicted from the villa after newly-single Shakira Khan picked Harry Cooksley, sending Sophie home immediately.

The previous night, Shakira had found herself single after bombshell Toni Laites, 24, picked to couple up with Ben Holbrough, leaving Shakira to graft all with all the coupled-up boys.

Maya Jama returned to the villa, revealing the shock twist that the lads could nominate themselves to recouple with Shakira.

But partners were left stunned as Blu Chegini, Conor Phillips, and Harry Cooksley all stepped forward.

Shakira still struggled to decide, asking Maya if the girl would immediately be dumped, but eventually, Sophie was given her marching orders.

Who is still in the Love Island villa?

Love Island kicked off with 14 singletons looking to make waves in the villa.

Love Island favourites Yas and Jamie spark ‘split fears’ as future plans come to light

It was the return of one of the most iconic challenges in tonight’s Love Island, the baby challenge – but it lead to some tense conversations between Yas and Jamie…

The Love Island villa were moved to tears by tonight’s shock dumping, but they didn’t have long to mope around, as they had some babies to take care of…

Tonight saw the return of the iconic Love Island baby challenge, as the Islanders put their parenting skills to the test. The challenge has been part of the show for as long as fans can remember, with clips of Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae taking part in series three still floating around to this day.

Despite a number of couples being over the moon at the challenge, Yas was less than impressed, as she told her partner Jamie that she’s not maternal and has no interest in becoming a mother. Despite seeing kids in his future, Jamie assured Yas it wasn’t a deal breaker for their relationship. However, fans aren’t so convinced.

Yasmin and Jamie have reached a major milestone

During the tense conversation, Jamie told Yas he was surrounded by children in his family, and “probably would” like kids down the line, although Yas said she’d rather spend time with her friends babies as she can “give them back”.

“I’ve never had the desire to have a family,” Yas said.

“It’s not a complete deal breaker, but it’s definitely up there,” Jamie responded, as Yas said she definitely wouldn’t change her mind.

Many fans agreed with Yas on X, formerly known as Twitter, as one fan wrote: “Having this conversation about motherhood is very refreshing.”

However, some are now concerned for the future of her relationship with Jamie on the outside world. “Oh dear – Yas & Jamie might fall out over wanting kids…” wrote one concerned fan, while another penned: “Not sure Jamie likes Yas’s reaction….”

A third concerned fan said: “i fear this is slowly the end of jamie and yas,” while a third penned: “i love yas and jamie but this will not work out unfortunately, when two people can’t see eye to eye on a family it’s a huge thing.”

It was a different story for Ty and Angel, as the challenge brought them even closer together. Despite only meeting a couple of weeks ago, the pair formed a strong connection from the start – as they took things to the next level.

“I really do enjoy spending time with you. I do really see a future with you,” Ty told Angel, adding: “I’ve never got on with anyone this well. It’s only right we make this exclusive.”

The chat between the two comes just days after Yas and Jamie closed things off – with Dejon recently making Meg his girlfriend.

Shock moment Love Islander admits he doesn’t know his girlfriend’s middle name amid fakery row

THIS is the shock moment one Love Islander admitted that he doesn’t know his own girlfriend’s middle name.

On the long-running ITV2 show, fans have been watching as Dejon Noel-Williams and gotten to know Meg Moore.

In the villa, the pair were having a humorous discussion with each other when a concerning point of conversation came up.

Megan asked her Love Island boyfriend what her last name was, to which he answered correctly straight away.

However, she then asked him to identify her middle name, and there was great hesitation.

He replied: “I honestly don’t know.”

This was before she interjected: “It used to be a kids [TV] program.”

As he continued to hesitate, she decided to simply put him out of his misery as Meg stated the word, ‘Beaker’ in reference to the iconic kids drama, Tracy Beaker.

“Oh, yeah!,” he exclaimed. “Megan Beaker Moore.”

But she was still left unimpressed as he didn’t actually say her real name, Tracy.

She laughed off the quip as she said: “Not Beaker!”

However, viewers simply did not buy into the conversation as they questioned whether their connection is actually genuine.

Love Island in new fix row as fans hit out at ‘massive rule break’

Many users took to X – formerly known as Twitter – as they accused the couple of being ‘fake’.

One user commented: “Meg doesn’t want her “enemies” to feel like they have a one up on her and Dejon doesn’t want to look like “the bad guy” when he’s on TV.

“Both of them trying to prove something to someone else. Fake couple.”

A second claimed: “Dejon is more bothered about how he looks and is the biggest fake on the show.”

Megan came back on some fake a** b* after seeing how the public perceived her,” noted a third user.

While a fourth stated: “Dejon has always been fake. How are people only seeing it now?”

In the last few weeks, viewers doubts have been creeping in as one interaction with Yasmin raised eyebrows.

In the moment that set off alarm bells among fans, his co-star asked: “I have a question for you, it’s a bit rogue, would you have a threesome with me and Toni?”

We’ll continue that question.

Dejon to YasminLove Island

Dejon laughed – but was soon saved from answering as Meg called out, “Come here please!”

He joked: “You called me at a good time! Oh my god! We’ll continue that question.”

Later, Harry’s actions in the Grafties led to his close pal and confidant washing his hands of him.

As the shamed star headed outside to sleep on the day beds, fans accused Dejon of backstabbing his best pal in the villa.

Love Island fans ‘work out’ pre-finale dumping twist – and fan favourites are ‘in danger’

Love Island fans were told to vote for which couple they feel are the most compatible – with those with the fewest votes being dumped from the Island – but there may be more…

It was another dramatic night in tonight’s Love Island, as Helena and Blu were dumped from the villa just days before the final. However, the final six can’t relax yet, as at least one more couple are about to be dumped in what appears to be the final dumping of the series.

Tonight, the Islanders took part in the Knowing Me, Knowing You challenge, hosted by Yas and Jamie. The Islanders were asked a series of questions, some light hearted, and some not so light hearted.

Despite a number of arguments, it was Meg and Dejon and Shakira and Harry who came out victorious. To the Islanders, this was just an innocent game – but fans think the producers have added a savage twist…

At the end of tonight’s episode, viewers were told to vote for who they thought was the most compatible, with those with the least number of votes at risks of being dumped just days before the final. However, fans aren’t certain it’s all in the publics hands…

Yas and Jamie placed in last place during tonight’s challenge, with Ty and Angel coming just above them. Now, fans think they’re already in danger with them proving themselves to know each other the least.

They also predict the dumped Islanders will be making a return to make the decision, just like previous seasons. Dumped Islander Giorgio previously ‘let slip’ that he was going back to Mallorca this week during an interview on This Morning.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “This is when the dumped islanders will come in. Yas and Jamie and Angel and Ty will be the most vulnerable.”

Another penned: “’I’ve got a feeling that those with the least amount right might be up to be dumped by the other islanders and if it is and the producers let Meg and Dejon cheat I don’t even know how anyone can say it’s not blatant favouritism. I’ll be raging.”

Others fear that Toni and Cach are in danger if the dumped Islanders come back. After Toni chose to couple up with Harrison over Cach, some of the former Islanders aren’t her biggest fans.

“GUYS VOTE TONI & CACH THEY WILL BE DUMPED BY RETURNING ISLANDERS!” exclaimed one fan, while another wrote: “We need more votes for Toni and Cach. I’m scared for them.”

There’s just two more episodes to go before the live final on Monday August 4, but who will come away victorious?

While she initially coupled up with Tommy, she later moved on to hunky rugby player Conor.

However, fellow returnee Blu introduced new drama into the couple’s dynamic.

He told Conor how Megan had been flirting with Tommy during her time away from the villa.

In addition, how she had allegedly been annoyed seeing Tommy move on with Casa bombshell Lucy.

Taking to TikTok, former Love Island star Jessy Potts has hit back at the claims.

She said in a video: “Why is Blu getting involved about the outside and Megan being annoyed about Tommy.

“I went on that trip with Irish Meg and she was talking about Conor the entire time.

“Blu, why are you in here babe? Go home.”

Meanwhile, Jessy soon got her wish – as Blu and Helena were axed in a brutal dumping.

Their exits immediately followed the Love Island talent show – which saw all Islanders take part.
