She posed for a series of fun snaps including running across the finishing line in front of Buckingham Palace, holding a Union Jack flag and striking Sir Mo’s iconic ‘Mobot’ pose.

The Love Island host and Celebrity Traitors star took to Instagram on Saturday night to show off her incredible transformation.

Maya also shared a video of the moment she video called Sir Mo, 43, while dressed as him.

Seeing Maya in her full Mo get up, Sir Mo looked shocked and said: “Oh my days!”

An excited Maya said: “I’m transformed! Don’t we look alike!”

Sir Mo replied: “I swear down I thought that was me for a second!”

Maya’s Celebrity Traitors pal Leigh-Anne Pinnock wrote: “SO GOOD.”

WHEN Gemma Owen returned to our screens in her family’s new reality show, she was hoping viewers would see a different side to her.

But while the 23-year-old has swapped Love Island bikinis for tweed jackets and early mornings at the stables, her latest career move has delivered a rather less glamorous reality.

Gemma has applied to have her clothing firm G R O Clothing struck off the company register, with the latest accounts showing the business is £10,000 in debt.

The application was submitted on Wednesday, with Gemma and fellow TV star mum Louise listed as the directors authorising the move. The company’s latest accounts were filed on the same day.

It marks a disappointing end for a business that once looked perfectly placed to cash in on Gemma’s sudden fame.

For when she left the Love Island villa in 2022, the footballer’s daughter was tipped to become one of the show’s biggest financial success stories.

“She had the profile, the contacts and the exposure, and people expected her clothing line to take off,” one source tells me.

“To end up having to shut it down, with the company in debt, is obviously disappointing.”

Gemma launched OG Beachwear in 2020 with the help of Louise, two years before she became a household name on the ITV2 dating show.

She wore her own designs in front of millions of viewers during her time in the villa, where she finished as runner-up alongside then-boyfriend Luca Bish.

Among the products was a £72 swimsuit, while a set of bracelets was promoted to fans as the “sought-after Gemma Owen bracelets”.

It was the sort of exposure most young business owners could only dream of.

After leaving the show, Gemma signed a six-figure deal with fashion retailer PrettyLittleThing, describing it as a “dream come true”.

She also had the sort of famous surname that could open doors, with her dad Michael a former England striker who has since become a football pundit and racehorse owner.

But while Gemma’s profile continued to grow, the figures for her own clothing firm told a very different story.

After Love Island, she rebranded OG Beachwear as G R O Clothing and expanded the range to include loungewear. She even got Luca to model some of the pieces alongside her.

Yet the business appears to have struggled to turn the initial buzz into lasting sales.

Accounts filed around two years ago showed the company had made nothing in its latest financial year, following a £1,670 loss in the 12 months before.

The latest accounts show the company is £10,000 in debt.

The decision to close the business will inevitably raise questions about what happened to the fashion ambitions that once looked like a natural next step after Love Island.

A source added: “It’s embarrassing for Gemma because when she came out of Love Island, there was a real expectation that she would turn that fame into a hugely successful business.

“There’s no getting away from the fact that plenty of people who came out of Love Island alongside Gemma have gone on to build very successful careers and businesses.

“She will be aware of that, and it must be frustrating when something she put her name to hasn’t worked out as she hoped.”

And the timing is particularly awkward, as Gemma attempts to relaunch her television career in Meet the Owens, the family’s six-part Prime Video series.

The show follows her alongside Michael, Louise and her younger siblings James, Emily and Jessica, offering viewers a glimpse into their family life and their world of horses.

It is also a surprising move from Michael, 46, who has long been regarded as one of the more reserved figures in football.

Once dubbed “the most boring man in football”, the former striker has largely stayed out of the limelight since retiring from the game.

In the series, he jokes that he is now better known as a “boring p***k” or “Gemma Owen’s dad” after his eldest daughter appeared on Love Island.

But the documentary is not just about family life. Michael has revealed that he has invested between £12million and £13million into Manor House Stables, his horse racing operation in Cheshire, and admits the business still needs investors.

Accounts for his company Owen Promotions show it holds £7,219 in cash and owes £2.3million to creditors, although these are company figures and do not establish his personal wealth.

The stables themselves have assets of approximately £13.6million, but a source has claimed the business remains expensive to run, with no guarantee that the horses bought will go on to win races. Owen hasn’t commented on the claim.

For Gemma, meanwhile, the family’s return to television has brought its own mixed reception.

The star looks a world away from the fresh-faced, bikini-clad teenager who first appeared on Love Island aged 19.

Her social media is now dominated by elegant outfits, sportswear and horse-related events, with tweed jackets, cashmere knitwear and expensive jewellery replacing many of the swimwear snaps that once helped promote her business.

A source previously told The Sun: “Gemma was catapulted into the spotlight on Love Island, but her days of showing off her bikini body in public appear to be long gone.

“Nowadays, she can often be seen dressed head-to-toe in tasteful Holland Cooper outfits and expensive jewellery, which she wears at posh horse-related events.”

She has also thrown herself into equestrian pursuits, having competed in dressage since the age of 11.

In July, Gemma made her amateur jockey debut in the Magnolia Cup charity race at Goodwood, finishing fourth out of 12 after months of gruelling training.

She has spoken about wanting to continue with both dressage and racing, telling Horse & Hound magazine: “If I can do both, I will. Racing in the morning, dressage in the afternoon.”

But the demanding schedule has fuelled whispers that her family and horses leave little room for a wider social life.

One source previously said: “Family and horses are everything to Gemma, and both take up so much of her time there’s not much left over for friends who aren’t involved in horses.”

And since returning to television, she has faced a fresh wave of criticism from viewers.

One online commenter cruelly wrote: “Seen more charisma in a fly tipped mattress.”

Another claimed: “Gemma isn’t a natural onscreen with her monotone voice.”

The comments have added to the scrutiny surrounding her attempt to establish herself beyond the dating show that made her famous.

An insider says: “Gemma has had to contend with some pretty cruel comments since returning to television.

“She’s come back into the spotlight hoping people will see a different side to her, but the reaction has been mixed.

“When you’re trying to establish yourself beyond the show that made you famous, the last thing you want is for people to be questioning whether you have the personality or the business nous to succeed.

The closure of G R O Clothing does not mean Gemma has run out of commercial opportunities.

She has continued to secure brand partnerships with PrettyLittleThing, country outfitter Holland Cooper and jewellery firm Abbott Lyon, while her media work and other deals are handled through a separate company, OG Promotions.

But they do highlight the difference between the opportunities available to Gemma as an influencer and the performance of the clothing label she built around her own name.

A recognisable face can help sell a product, but turning that attention into a sustainable business is another challenge altogether.

And as Gemma focuses on horses, family life and her return to television, her fashion venture appears to have reached the end of the road.

“Gemma is at a point where she needs to work out what she really wants her career to look like,” the source says.

“She has the advantage of a recognisable name and plenty of opportunities, but she needs to find the things that genuinely work for her.”

Gemma’s representatives were contacted for comment.

West End star Summer Strallen has admitted she is “embarrassed” by her role in Hollyoaks – almost two decades after she left the Channel 4 soap.

The actress, 40, has had a hugely successful stage career and in the late 2000s, she was cast in the leading role of Maria von Trapp in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s production of The Sound of Music, acting as a replacement for Connie Fisher, who had won the part on the BBC reality show How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?

In an attempt to drum up more publicity for the musical, Summer was cast as aspiring actress Summer Shaw in Hollyoaks, and the storyline was designed around her fictional counterpart also landing the role made famous by Dame Julie Andrews. The publicity stunt also served as the exit for long-running character Sam “O.B.” O’Brien (Darren Jeffries) who left the fictional village to be with Summer when she moved to London.

Speaking about the odd plotline almost 20 years on, she said: “I did The Sound of Music for Andrew Lloyd Weber and did that whole Hollyoaks thing where I don’t know if I should [mention it]… It was like a publicity stunt where I went into Hollyoaks for five months and then I got the part of Maria on Hollyoaks.

“So it was around the programmes. Connie Fisher had done the first one, How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? and they were basically…they needed another bump of publicity for the new person coming in so they had this idea that I’d go into Hollyoaks for five months. I had a proper role, they called me Summer Shaw.

“They called me Summer in it. And it was mad. I moved up to Liverpool and everything to do it and then went into The Sound of Music. It was hilarious. And Andrew was in it, we did scenes where be offered me the part of Maria and me and OB, who was my boyfriend, moved to London. I took OB with me, he was a massive part in Hollyoaks, and he left with me.”

Summer, who is the niece of West End legend Bonnie Langford, was chatting to fellow West End actress and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Amber Davies on her Call to Stage podcast when she addressed her soap stint. When the ex-Love Island winner said she was going to dig out some clips on YouTube, Summer said: “It’s embarrassing!”

But the star, who also had a small role in Wicked: For Good opposite Ariana Grande and also appeared in BBC soap Doctors, is also thankful for the experience that working in television gave her at the time.

She added: “But it was good because I It meant that I did that. It was like in baptism of fire. for TV. So then when I did other TV jobs was great because I knew how to hit my mark. I knew not to drink, stuff like that. It’s totally different and so it really set me up.”

The late 2000s marked a time of using television to heavily publicise theatre and How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria was the first in a series of four BBC casting shows. It was followed by Any Dream Will Do, in which Lee Mead won the part of Joseph before going on to star in other West End shows and enjoy a stint in Casualty.

I’d Do Anything launched the acting career of Jodie Prenger, who won the part of Nancy in Oliver! and now plays Glenda Shuttleworth in Coronation Street whilst Jessie Buckley finished in second place in the years before she became an Academy Award winner.

In 2010, Over the Rainbow found Danielle Hope to play Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz and also launched the career of Stephanie Davis, who is best known for her own Hollyoaks role and for appearing on Celebrity Big Brother. The talent searches were all headed up by composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, and hosted by Graham Norton.

Various celebrities like stage actress Denise Van Outen, Loose Women panellist Zoe Tyler as well as Doctor Who actor John Barrowman, singer Charlotte Church and EastEnders star John Partridge all served as judges over the years.

Since her Hollyoaks stint, Summer, whose sisters are Zizi and Scarlett are also West End actresses and are known for the respective performances in Wicked and Mary Poppins, has mostly focused on theatre as well and is currently starring in the musical adaptation of Beetlejuice.

But in her latest vlog Molly-Mae, who is also mum to three-year-old Bambi, shared with her YouTube fans that she is having a change of heart – and “wants to have more babies”.

She said: “This baby right here and his cuteness makes me want to have more babies. And I was so adamant that I factually didn’t want any more babies.

“I have a lot to talk to you guys about really, because I am having a lot of thoughts …

“Do you know what I mean? I am sorry but looking at him makes me want to have another baby, which is deeply concerning”.

Molly-Mae then told how she struggled to keep her “head above water” with both one and two children and quizzed how she would managed with a third.

She added: “Maybe I am just having a weird month where I am thinking ‘maybe I do want another one’”.

In June, Molly-Mae said she was “ready to stop at two”.

She said: “I’m 99.99 per cent sure I only want to have two children. So, as much as I want to give Bambi a sister… I also feel like I’m ready to stop at two.

“So the fact we were blessed with a boy and we have a son is just genuinely… we couldn’t be luckier and I couldn’t be happier and I just can’t process that we have a boy.

“I just can’t believe it guys, like we literally have a son, that will never feel real.”

Molly-Mae previously disclosed a ‘terrifying’ health scare involving her baby son Midas.

The former Love Island star said her four-month-old boy has become so poorly that she recently took him to be checked by a doctor after initially thinking he had caught his first cold.

Molly-Mae, who shares Midas and three-year-old daughter Bambi with boxer Tommy, said: “The doctor actually thinks he’s got… she wasn’t really sure, but she was like, ‘It does sound a bit like RSV, which can be really serious in babies.”

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) usually causes cold-like symptoms but can be dangerous for young babies. It can lead to bronchiolitis, a chest infection that can cause breathing difficulties and sometimes requires hospital treatment.

THERE were plenty of skeptics when former Love Islander Zara McDermott struck up an unlikely romance with One Direction heartthrob Louis Tomlinson early last year.

But as Zara gives The Sun a rare insight into life with superstar Louis, it appears the couple have proved the naysayers wrong.

There are even rumours that the loved-up pair could soon announce they are engaged, but the presenter remains stubbornly tight-lipped about wedding bells.

That doesn’t mean the relationship has been without its challenges, with Zara widely trolled by Louis’ fans who, at the beginning of their relationship, accused her of “following” the popstar around.

When Zara posted snaps of herself in Italy, where Louis was performing at a sold-out concert in Milan, earlier this year – she was subjected to vile backlash.

LOVE Island star Ciaran Davies has met with show bosses about a THIRD stint in the villa.

He won January’s All Stars’ series with Samie Elishi but they split three weeks later – and today the loved-up beauty announced she was pregnant with Aftersun panellist boyfriend Tyrique Hyde.

Ciaran has held talks about returning for 2027’s legends run in Cape Town, South Africa.

A source said: “It’s early days but bosses have met with Ciaran who is considering a third try at finding love.

“Execs have met with a variety of Islanders but the line-up won’t firm up until December.

“Obviously Samie has very much moved on and so has Ciaran and he hopes to find the same happiness too.”

Ciaran – a 23-year-old former surveyor from Pencoed, South Wales – was a runner-up on Love Island‘s 11th season, going on to win All Stars this year with Samie, following his second stint in the villa.

Tyrique appeared on Love Island during the summer of 2023, with Samie’s first appearance coming on the winter version the same year.

While they may not have been on the show together, he’d always admired her from afar and consistently named her as his top Islander.

Despite Samie being crowned All Stars champion with Ciaran earlier this year – they split three weeks after February 23rd’s glittering final, prompting Tyrique to make his move.

Six months on, and the couple are expecting a child.

Posting online, Samie shared a sweet video of her getting an ultrasound.

Tyrique and Samie could be seen sharing a kiss as they held the sonogram pictures of their little one.

They both beamed with joy as the song Forever My Lady played in the background.1

Reposting the announcement on his Instagram story, Tyrique wrote: “Don’t make a scene. Can’t wait for this next chapter.

“Love you @samieelishi.”

In late March, Samie was seen out on a date with Tyrique at the Baller League then in May they told fans how they were officially boyfriend and girlfriend – and now they’re happier than ever.

Samie is thought to be due to give birth in spring 2027.

The Love Island host, 30, is currently taking part in the hit BBC game show as a Traitor fronted by Claudia Winkleman and in Friday night’s episode, she had to join in with a yawning game. The challenge, which left all three of the Traitors feeling the pressure, was to get either of Faithfuls, Jerry Hall or Ross Kemp, to yawn in a specific room after spraying some “deadly sleeping powder” from a perfume bottle, which would be breathed in.

Reading out the instructions in disbelief, comedian James Acaster said: “To seal the murder you must then say, ’Am I boring you?’ – followed by the victim’s name. I can’t believe this.”

Viewers will have to wait until next Thursday to find out who will be leaving the castle for good, but fans think that Maya could be up for the chop after making the apparent mistake of inviting EastEnders legend Ross into the mix, having decided that the only way to instigate the murder was to start up some contagious yawning.

But many viewers think this strategy will backfire on Maya, as her pretend yawning was deemed “too obvious” and think she could be rumbled as a Traitor immediately if not careful.

One person wrote on X: “Ross Kemp was the last person the Traitors should have encouraged into the room. He will be all over this ‘murder in plain sight’. Captain’s hat anyone?” A third wrote: “Ross clocking Maya’s GCSE drama yawning.” A fourth said: “So you’re telling me Ross was freaking out about every possible evidence of murder at the beginning and now he’s sitting in a room full of yawning traitors, possibly not suspecting a thing.”

A fifth added: “This yawning task is too obvious in front of Ross Kemp.” Another wrote: “Maya Jama’s yawning was more obvious than Richard E Grant saying he was a traitor.”

Meanwhile, Clare Balding, who competed on the first series, said she thinks the best thing for the Traitors is if Ross yawns. Believe me, if Jerry yawns and Jerry goes, Ross will notice,” she said on Uncloaked.

However, other fans had just taken umbrage with the fact they will now have to wait to find out what happens next. One fan said: “NOOOOOOOOOOOO You cant leave on that cliffhanger, the producers are just geniuses. I think the Traitors FAILED to Get them to yawn in the Time…. AND they will be punished in some way IMO!!”

Another wrote: “10 million people are now going to have a tense wait of 6 days to find out whether Ross Kemp or Jerry Hall yawn first. Now thats a TV cliffhanger.”

PRINCESS Andre has broken her silence on romance rumours after being spotted out with a Love Island bad boy.

The 19-year-old was spotted out with Harrison Solomon, 23, on Friday night at the VIP launch night of Shocktober Fest at Tulleys Farm.

Princess and Harrison, who shot to fame on the ITV2 show in 2025, were also seen at a Thorpe Park event the night before.

This has raised a few eyebrows and many have been left wondering if the pair are an item.

Princess, who is the daughter of Katie Price and Peter Andre, took to TikTok to clear some things up.

Despite appearing very chummy, however, a source close to Princess insists the pair are just pals.

“They share the same management company as Harrison recently signed to the same reps as Princess. There is nothing romantic going on,” they insisted.

Harrison took part in the 12th series of Love Island in 2025 and entered the villa as a bombshell.

During his stint in the villa he was slammed by Women’s Aid for ‘misogyny and sexism’ in a statement because of his treatment towards Lauren Wood while in a love triangle with Toni Laithes.

“Despite these positive steps, we still see unhealthy patterns of behaviour on these shows, showing just how steeped in misogyny and sexism our society still is.

“Women are often lied to, slut-shamed and manipulated, as well as laughed at behind their backs.

“Misogyny and sexism lay the foundation for the tolerance of abuse and violence – it reinforces a culture that excuses and trivialises violence against women and girls.

“More must be done to educate contestants on sexism and misogyny, and it is a great credit to viewers who take to social media, continuing to call out these behaviours as soon as they see them.”

In response to the statement, Harrison told Daily Mail: “I have seen the backlash and it’s hard to digest.

“I would disagree with a lot of it in terms of my respect for women, I do respect women.

“The worst has been from Women’s Aid. I know myself and the girls on the show too, Toni said she knows I’m not a bad person, just went about situations in the wrong way, but the Women’s Aid statement wasn’t nice… it’s not nice coming out of the villa to my mum upset by that so I would say that’s been the hardest.”
