Katie said: “If I like someone like I liked him, I go all shy. I can’t look at them, and I go all like giddy. It’s pathetic, but that’s what I was like.
“You could see we were into each other and it is so cute to look at. By the end of it I was smitten with him.

“Meeting Pete and being with Pete were the best times of my life, without a doubt.
“I had my prince, I knew I would be with him forever.”
Katie and Peter met in 2004 and started dating shortly after their time on I’m A Celeb ended.
They got engaged later that same year and tied the knot in 2005.
They went on to have two children, Princess and Junior, before divorcing in 2009.

Following the news, Meg, 60, took to Instagram to slam Katie, writing: “Why buy a puppy when you don’t live in Dubai?
“This is utterly ridiculous, irresponsible… a husky mix in Dubai, heat training takes time [and] commitment.
“Do they have a house and garden/yard? Just heartbreaking, sends the wrong message.”
Katie wasted no time in responding to Meg’s words, commenting on her post: “Am I missing something Meg?
“Go back through your messages to me, how nice you have always been, asking me for help and now this?
“You don’t know me personally so calm down. And Lee lives in Dubai, my husband.”
Katie and Lee excited announced their newest addition yesterday, with her telling fans: “Just like we signed for our marriage, we’ve signed for our baby.
Lee added: “We’re new owners of this baby boy.”
Katie jumped in, explaining: “We’ve got no kids but this is our baby boy.”
“He’s our first baby together,” she later added as she introduced the puppy to fans.
The couple have chosen to call the blue-eyed dog Dubaii – with an extra ‘i’ – as a nod to where he’s from.
Announcing the sad news on Cameo, Lee told a fan: “I love dogs, I love cats, I love animals. So does Kate, so we share that empathy. She’s got five Sphynxes actually. One has just passed away.
“Sorry, eight Sphynxes, five dogs. Eight Sphynxes, now seven, one passed away.”

Singer Katie is currently fighting a severe case of bacterial pneumonia and doctors now suspect a blood clot on her lung.
The 40-year-old was taken to London’s private Wellington Hospital for urgent scans and tests.
Taking to X, Katie told her followers: “After a day and a half at home, I’m now BACK at the hospital and not doing so great.”
She added in a later update: “Whilst still battling this awful bacterial pneumonia, there’s now a suspected blood clot on my lung, so I’m back in for more scans, tests and needles.

“I’m fairly certain I’ve run out of veins for people to poke at this point.”
The mum-of-one praised the medical team at the facility for their ‘incredible’ support.
She stated that her absolute priority is to ‘get better and get home to my little boy’.
Katie shares her seven-year-old son, Hudson, with her former partner, personal trainer Andy Speer, who was born in 2018.
This latest setback follows her emergency admission last week to St John and St Elizabeth’s Hospital in London.
Reflecting on the initial scare, the songwriter admitted she was ‘far closer to the edge than I realised’.

She called the illness ‘one of the most frightening and excruciatingly painful experiences of my life’.
The close call has given her a brand new outlook on life.
In a separate social media post on Thursday, she shared: “I’m still a little bit in shock, if I’m honest, coming to terms with just how close I came to not being here anymore.
“It’s made me realise there are still so many things I want to see, do, learn and experience, and that perhaps ‘one day’ isn’t a date we should rely on.
“So, I’ve decided it’s time to write a proper bucket list and start ticking things off.”
This is not the star’s first sudden health crisis.
Back in 2021, she needed emergency treatment for a suspected heart attack, later sharing images of herself fitted with a cardiac monitor.
Katie originally rose to fame on the seventh series of The X Factor.
She was mentored by Cheryl in the girls category and eventually finished the ITV competition in seventh place – which was won by Matt Cardle.
The singer is now qualified to work as a paralegal or start vocational training to become a solicitor or barrister.
The mum-of-one and lawyer set up her own dedicated foundation, O.W.H.L, in 2023 – campaigning to reform safety standards within the showbiz world.
She was branded the “most hated contestant” when she appeared on the show and has sought therapy for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) after suffering panic attacks and suicidal thoughts.
Veteran broadcast journalist Katie Couric has leveled sharp criticism at CBS’ “60 Minutes,” detailing a culture of systemic sexism and marginalization she says she experienced during her tenure at the prestigious newsmagazine.
On this week’s episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Couric, 69, described incidents during her time at “60 Minutes” when her story ideas were reassigned to her male counterparts. She described the circumstances as “really tough situations.”
The Emmy-winning journalist said she suspected early on that Jeff Fager, the “60 Minutes” executive producer at the time, didn’t take a liking to her.
“I think maybe because he wasn’t really consulted about bringing me over,” said Couric. “I was sort of seen as somebody from a different network coming in and sort of muddying the waters. I hadn’t come up in the CBS system. So I don’t know, he just didn’t like me.”
Couric started her run at the newsmagazine as a correspondent and as an anchor at CBS News in 2006, after spending 15 years co-hosting NBC’s “Today” show. Her role at CBS made her the first female solo anchor of a national weeknight news broadcast. She stayed with the network for five years before taking on a new role as special correspondent for ABC News.
Fager remained at “60 Minutes” from 2004 to 2018. He also served as the chairman of CBS News. He was eventually fired for allegedly sending a “harsh” message to a CBS reporter. At the time, he was also facing accusations of ignoring inappropriate behavior at “60 Minutes.” He previously denied the claims. CBS could not be reached for comment.
Trouble first came to a head when Couric pitched a profile of the rising pop star Lady Gaga. Fager had initially turned down the idea until he decided to pursue the story a year later, as Gaga had gained more notoriety.
Couric said she had proposed a fresh angle on Gaga’s Catholic school upbringing, but when she arrived for the interview, she discovered her name had been replaced with Anderson Cooper’s. His interview with Gaga aired in February 2011.
“It made me crazy,” Couric said.
A similar situation occurred once again when Couric was set to interview then–Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The confusion began when the State Department reached out to Couric, wondering why fellow correspondent Scott Pelley’s team was inquiring about Clinton.
“So I go to Jeff Fager, and I say, ‘I thought you wanted me to do Hillary. You told me explicitly that you wanted to assign that story to me,’” Couric said. “And he said, ‘Yeah, we decided to change things up.’”
Couric said she was frustrated with Fager, for repeatedly going “behind [her] back.”
“Like, without even the decency to call me and say, ‘Guess what? We decided to reassign the story, and this is why,’” she said. “Talk about getting gaslit. I mean to me, that is the definition of it.”
Couric isn’t the only former “60 Minutes” to call out sexism at the newsmagazine. Meredith Vieira, who worked as a correspondent in the late 1980s and early 1990s, said in 2018, that she’d experienced sexism at CBS.
In the last few months, “60 Minutes” has undergone a massive upheaval. Under CBS News editor-in-chief, Bari Weiss, several correspondents, including Scott Pelley, and the program’s top producers were fired. Anderson Cooper also recently resigned from his post at the newsmagazine. With the upcoming season slated to begin in September, the program is currently under pressure to replenish its ranks.

“I was taken close to the Hatta-Oman border by men at gunpoint and then I was captured by men with assault rifles.

“Good job, isn’t it? Looking like an Abercrombie model.”
Lee’s hair stole attention when he returned to social media for the first time since leaving prison.
Many were convinced it was AI or a filter had been used to create a fuller head of hair.
Since then, a Dubai-based trichologist from Hair Repair Club claimed to The Sun that Lee had visited his salon on Monday to enquire about a permanent wig.
He declined their services when he was told he would require a patch test and “colour matching” before being able to purchase.

Lee doubled down on his version of events today, adding: “So I’m sending these messages out to my loved ones and my beautiful wife, who without her help involving all the UK authorities, I don’t think I would have got out of that situation.
“Because of the tensions and things happening in the region, and me being so close to the border, this is why I was suspected of espionage and held in a state security building without the use of a telephone and any right to shower, contact or speak to any of my family, including the embassy or my wife.

Lee met Katie viaInstagramin January and married in Dubai just nine days later in a whirlwind romance.
Katie told critics who have questioned her decisions: “I know people have been calling me stupid, I see all the trolling, I hear it.
“I am not stupid. Trust me, I am protected in every way. My card has been marked and I have been taking notes.
“There is no way he would mess with me, and in a way I feel protected because I have the nation looking out for me. I’m not a mug and when I finally see Lee, I am going to question him.
“And if the answers I get are not right, that will be it: I’ll be done. That’s it. And I’ll just get on with my life… and not find a man on Instagram and message him….”
The court mandated that a total fine of £140,000 would need to be cleared before he could be released.
While imprisoned, Lee requested during a prison phone call that Katie start an online fundraising page to help raise the money, but she told him: “No one will do that for you, Lee, trust me. Everyone hates you.”

She said: “I cannot just walk away from my marriage without seeing him again.”
The Sun previously reported how Lee had been locked up in Al-Awir over a “private civil matter”, believed to be related to allegations of fraud, on May 14.
Among the claims, one of the cases against the self-proclaimed businessman is understood to be over a bounced cheque.
He initially claimed to Katie that he had been arrested on suspicion of spying. Authorities in Dubai later confirmed to The Sun that this was not the case.

It’s been revealed shameless Lee told former girlfriends that he had studied at Cambridge University, and has a PhD in biotechnology science
But The Sun has seen a response from the university explaining it could not find a record of Lee being registered as a student with a date of birth they had provided

Lee was also mocked for repeating theexact same wedding proposalon Katie – that he did for another woman just four months ago.
Katie’s return to the UAE comes just a week after she headed out there in the hopes of freeing him from prison, but was told she’d need a hefty £140,000 to bail him out – which she refused.
She gave The Sun exclusive access to the trip, with Showbiz Editor Clemmie Moodie joining her.
During which, Clemmie sat Katie down to confront her about Lee and the many untruths he has told over recent months – with the full 56 minute sit down available to watchhere.

Her candid and unfiltered account of three decades in the spotlight is coming to Sky and NOW on July 8.
This week, Katie attended the Sheffield DocFest where she revealed that during her darkest moments and confessed ‘no-one knew how bad it was’, with this set to play out in her new series.
Katie suffered a major mental breakdown in around 2018 following a build-up of traumatic events in her life, she then suffered another in 2021.
Speaking about this at the DocFest event ahead of her Sky show dropping next month, Katie got candid and confessed: “When I had my breakdown, I don’t think people really knew how bad it was, and how it affected people in my life.
“To hear that my loved ones cried and how much they loved me is like a wake-up call for me.
“There are some really dark moments [in the series] but at the same time, uplifting.
“People have to remember that it’s actually my life, so if you’re exhausted just watching it, imagine how exhausting it is for my little pea brain.
“But I really enjoyed doing it.
“I said they should do 10 parts and they wanted to, but we were lucky to push it to four [episodes].
“There’s still so much you could put in it. Even from what you’re reading today.”
Elsewhere at the event, Katie said: “I’m an open book.
“When [the team] came to me about the documentary, I got excited because something about me and my life is perfect.
“The media narrative is so different to what I’m really like but as you say, every day, even now, there’s always something.
“My life could actually be a soap story – it just doesn’t stop. I’m normal but it’s a weird world I live in. I can’t explain it.”
She also touched on being authentic.
“I have nothing to hide, and when they asked me, ‘are there any areas you don’t want us to go?’, I said, no! You can talk to absolutely anyone you want and you can talk to me about anything you want,” she confessed.
“Luckily the duty of care was amazing. Sometimes after two hours [of interviews], I couldn’t do any more.
“There are moments where I’ve had therapy to get over some of the things in my life, and I had to relive them.
“But I think this is what makes a good show, and I love watching documentaries.
“So many people are so manufactured and they’re in on the edits, so they look like a polished turd, basically. I am not that!
“Even I’m cringing at some of the stuff in the first episode! I haven’t had time to reflect on anything in my life because there’s always the next thing, and the next thing.”

He needs to raise £140,000 to be released and asked Katie to set up a GoFundMe to help out, but she declined, stating there wouldn’t be enough public support.
The Sun’s Showbiz Editor Clemmie Moodie sat down with Katie during her Dubai trip and grilled her about Lee and the many untruths he has told over recent months.

Katie Stith, the softball coach at JSerra High, can finally take a bow and become the most famous Stith in the family — at least for a couple weeks.
Imagine being the daughter of legendary club softball coach Mike Stith (OC Batbusters), then going into coaching. Katie did just that and has earned the spotlight after guiding JSerra to its first Southern Section Division 1 championship.
She has been selected The Times’ coach of the year for 2026.
It was her eighth season, and if you want to play in Division 1 in Southern California, you have to go through the gauntlet of powerhouses, from Norco to Orange Lutheran to Murrieta Mesa.
JSerra navigated a difficult regular-season schedule, then avoided upsets in the playoffs. The team finished 25-8 and had wins over Norco, La Mirada, Oaks Christian, Orange Lutheran and Garden Grove Pacifica — all prominent programs.
She was able to rely on pitcher Liliana Escobar and catcher Annabel Raftery in those pressure-packed moments from the first game to the last.

Clemmie and Katie, 48, have embarked upon an extraordinary international trek looking for “the world’s most hated man” – and tonight, she bares her soul to The Sun in her only sit-down interview since the firestorm started.
And Katie confesses that if she doesn’t get the answers she wants from her husband, she is prepared to turn the tables in explosive fashion.
In the hour-long interview, Katie shares her sensational side of the story after initially being led to believe that Lee had been kidnapped before – following three weeks of zero contact – learning of his incarceration.
She’s someone who has lived every possible high and low, both personally and professionally, in the glare of the public eye.
But even she warns readers of her latest tell-all: “You don’t want to miss it.
“This is where you’ll see the truth.”
Katie flew out to Dubai last Monday and has visited Al Awir Central Prison several times, though her only contact with her Lee has been via the phone.
She opens up to Clemmie about Lee’s infamous flight ban – after he humiliated her by forcing her to do a live TV interview without him – and about the concerns from loved-ones and fans alike over her marriage.
And, in a shock turn of events, Katie will tell all after being confronted with some damning news about the man she loves.

In a now deleted video shared on her social media, Katie teamed up with Lee’s ex-wife Dina for an episode of The Katie Price podcast. In clips circulating online, the pair could be seen hugging and chatting about Lee.
Katie told Dina in on video: “I came to Dina about one of the cases because I thought, is Dina involved? And then obviously we had a cup of tea, as girls do, we’ve had a long chat, and that’s for us to know, and for you to find out in the future. On that note, I’m glad we met Dina.
Dina also told Katie in the clip: “To be honest with you, I really didn’t care about responding to reporters and everyone that was messaging me. I mean, just out of respect, if there’s anything that I wanted to share and kind of warn her, if anything, it would be woman to woman, you know, face to face.”
Still, 80,000 seats is a lot to shift and in today’s environment, only the top heavyweights, plus a handful of other stars including Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and Naoya Inoue can hit such heights.
For Taylor, 39, and her team to have ambitions to command such an audience is evidence of the reverence in which she is held.

It may be a farewell, but a test and not a testimonial is how Taylor wants to sign off.
But she has no designs on getting swept up in the emotion with undefeated Frenchwoman Flora Pili standing in her way.
The Croke Park door appeared shut when an agreement could not be reached between Hearn and stadium authorities three years ago, so what has changed?
With costs to hire the stadium “twice as much as Wembley” according to the Matchroom chairman, it was difficult to see how the impasse would be broken.
For the company there is “not a whole lot financially” to be gained, but just as the rematch between Carl Froch and George Groves at Wembley Stadium in 2014 proved a big night for Matchroom, 80,000 at Croke Park can do likewise according to Hearn.
“That a female is fighting in front of 80,000 people, I think it’s the greatest moment of our [Matchroom’s] boxing history,” he said.
“We’re not going to be making much money on the night, but this is about more than that. My dad [Barry, Matchroom founder and president] might kill me, but what does it really matter what we make on a night like this?
“What we leave with is something we’ll never forget and also it’s important for the brand of our business.”

But after she spoke to him, it emerged he “needs a six-figure sum” instead.
After finding this out, Katie shared her fears for Lee, and said she was worried “he would not be released anytime soon”.
Revealing details of her last phone conversation with Lee, Katie said on Thursday: “I’m absolutely knackered, it’s the second morning because I spoke to Lee yesterday and he wants me to go to the Al Awir prison because he’s given me permission to get all his phones, his belongings.
“So I’m going there now.
“I still need to hear back from his lawyer if I can get a visit to see him.
“It’s Wednesday and I go on Friday… time is running out.”
Katie admitted she was now able to reach her husband because she had a Dubai number for him in prison.
“I’m feeling knackered today, I’m excited, but excited for what? Because I don’t know if I’m seeing Lee but at least I now know he can ring me, I’ve got the Dubai number so at least I know he can ring me,” she added.

“So let’s go to the prison again.”
The previous day, Katie posted a clip while at a hair salon in Dubai as she told fans she was “all glam, just to go to bed and chill”.
She said: “The time is half five, I’m going to go back to the hotel, get in bed and watch telly all night until tomorrow morning.
“That’s so bad, coming to Dubai and I’m going to bed at half six in the evening, that’s shocking.
“I could go and party, have a drink, but I’m happy to go back to the hotel for a cup of tea in bed.”
Three weeks on from when Lee went ‘missing’ after failing to arrive in the UK for a joint interview with Katie, here is what we know.
Last night Katie shared a video filmed inside a car where she discussed the effects of CBD oil. The view from the car appeared to show that the star was warmer climes in a foreign country, which would line up with the recent snaps taken of Katie at Gatwick Airport with a huge suitcase and her engagement ring firmly on her finger.
She revealed on Facebook that she is set to travel to Dubai to try and visit him in prison, but added: “I don’t know if I’m going to see Lee or I’m not when I get there and it’s a really weird feeling.”
Lee told Katie he was in Al Awir prison, also known as “Dubai Alcatraz” in a brief phone call last week, as he claims he was detained after being mistaken for a spy. It has not been confirmed by Dubai authorities that he is in prison, or was in fact charged with espionage.
While he has allegedly been in prison, he has unfollowed and followed Katie – the only person he follows on Instagram. His account also followed a woman dubbed “biker babe” who used to be on a millionaire matchmaker site, but she appears to have ultimately blocked his account.
The phone call about Lee’s whereabouts came after he’d been “missing” for almost two weeks, with Katie telling fans that her husband had been “kidnapped” and she had to get Interpol involved after as he was being taken to a “black site”.
Since this ordeal began in May, Katie has faced criticism for using Lee’s alleged arrest as a PR stunt to promote her CBD oil collaboration and her music. She has also been met with sympathy from fans who believe she had no involvement and is being “conned” by her husband.
Chelsea have had a long-term interest in McCabe, who was a fan of the club as a child. They held off competition to sign her from WSL champions Manchester City.
An approach was made by Chelsea for McCabe in 2015, but McCabe opted to join Arsenal. They reportedly attempted again in 2023, but their bid was rejected.
She was offered a contract renewal by Arsenal in April but decided to pursue other opportunities, with Chelsea and City having made their interest known.
McCabe played a key role as Arsenal won the Champions League in 2025 and she also has an FA Cup, three League Cups and one Champions Cup medal.
On the international scene, McCabe has made 105 appearances for the Republic of Ireland, netting 34 goals, and led them to their first World Cup in 2023.
She was the first Irish woman to receive a nomination for the Ballon d’Or awards in 2023, and the first player male or female from her nation since Roy Keane in 2000.
Now McCabe can look forward to joining a club who have been one of Arsenal’s biggest rivals – a side that she helped knock out of the Champions League quarter-finals in April.
During the second leg of that European tie, Chelsea manager Sonia Bompastor was sent off as she vented her anger at a hair pull on Alyssa Thompson by McCabe.
McCabe’s arrival boosts a Chelsea squad bruised from missing out on the WSL title in the season just ended, and who are still chasing an elusive Champions League trophy.
Her addition to the squad is welcome given clubs are pursuing England left-back Niamh Charles, with Manchester City favourites to sign her.
England full-back Lucy Bronze is also out of contract with Chelsea this summer and has yet to confirm whether she has agreed an extension.
