Now, The Sun can reveal that Katie will be front and centre to see her son belt out his comeback track.

Junior will be taking to the stage in Manchester at the AO Arena to perform at the Hair and Beauty Awards later this month.

And mum Katie has been signed up to hand out one of the event’s top prizes.

“Katie had previously not had a chance to see him sing but this is a fantastic opportunity to finally see her son in action.

“Princess is also going to be at the event so it will be a real family affair.

“They are all super looking forward too it and cannot wait for the big night!”

Junior had previously admitted on The Princess Diaries that he had had to forego having his mum watch his gigs in order to avoid run-ins with his dad Peter.

Junior’s comeback performance is marking a huge turning point for the star after he faced a string of musical setbacks following the release of his debut single, Slide.

At the event, he is on the bill alongside a series of noughties music legends – joining the company of Professor Green, Tinchy Stryder and Dappy.

Organisers say the bookings are designed to give the 2026 awards a more ‘live entertainment’ feel, blending industry recognition with a full-scale show.

Sophie Lux, founder and CEO of the UK Hair and Beauty Awards, said: “We wanted to bring back that feeling of songs everyone knows every word to. These are artists who were on the radio constantly, who soundtracked people’s lives, and it just felt like the right energy for Manchester.

“The HBAs has always been about celebration, but this year we’re really turning it into a full night out. It’s about entertainment, performance, and creating moments people remember.”

Returning once again as host of the main ceremony is I’m A Celebrity star Jake Quickenden, who fronted last year’s event and will lead the night’s awards and performances.

Katie replied: “That’s what I mean you’re following in my footsteps.”

Speaking candidly on her mum‘s cheeky venture, Princess said in her confessional: “It’s actually really interesting to hear mum talk about starting to build her career.

“Because like if a girl did that now at 18, it would be classed as very wrong so, it’s two different lives really.”

Podcast host Katie then went on to leave her kids – specifically Junior – gobsmacked by a surprise revelation.

She announced: “I had bit of a hairy muff back then though.”

Junior, who is following in his dad Peter’s footsteps as a singer, put his head in his hands.

Shaking his head he said: “Oh my god!”

Katie didn’t stop there, she added: “It was because I had red bikini on and the ironing board cover would take it off and I had like a little triangle.”

Junior said: “Mate that I…I don’t like…”

“It’s part of your mum’s journey and after that I bought out cups with me topless on them,” added Katie.

Mortified Junior decided to remain silent as his mum opened up on her sexy merch.

This comes as Katie has finally been “allowed” to film the show after previously being banned from production.

After fallout from Princess’ dad and his wife Emily being allowed on the show they both took a step back to avoid further drama.

Following Katie and Peter’s truce back in February, Princess hinted that both her parents would feature in series three – which they have.

In March, she said: “I mean, the good thing is now, obviously, my mum and dad have come out with an agreement to be fine.

“So hopefully season three, they will actually both be in it which is amazing. It’s so good now because there is just no issues.”

She confessed her son was “happiest” living at home and that certainly rang true as he enjoyed the fresh air with his family.

Katie captioned the sweet post: “Summer,” followed by a horse emoji, sun emoji and a yellow love heart.

This comes as it was revealed that both Katie and Peter are set to appear on their daughter’s reality show The Princess Diaries.

The formerly warring pair – who were married between 2005 and 2009 – called a truce earlier this year for the sake of their kids.

They announced the new chapter in a bombshell joint statement on Instagram back in February.

It said they’d reached an “understanding” and they wanted to focus on “creating a calm and supportive environment” for Junior and ­Princess.

Katie will appear in the first episode of Princess’ show, taking a glamping trip with her children to celebrate her birthday.

But, we are some way off ever seeing the former glamour model and her singer ex on screen together.

Princess said: “To be honest, I don’t think that would happen anyway. I don’t think divorced parents would sit in a room and have a conversation, but it’s not to say it would never happen.”

Junior, 21, went on: “The main thing is, it’s amicable. They’ve got a truce, but they’re not best friends and they don’t need to be.

“The fact that they’re both in it is great because it’s our parents. We love them, and want everyone to be involved. But yeah, they don’t need to cross paths.”

Princess told how she values ­having her loved ones on the show, adding: “It is way more fun for me . . . because I like having my family there.

“I guess it shows people they are calm — that yes, they’re not best friends but they don’t need to be.”
