A spate of ‘extreme weather’ in Ibiza has left many locals and tourists experiencing heavy rainfall, flooding and strong winds – and some are now worried about their flights home

A mum who booked a trip to Ibiza is having regrets after a spate of “extreme weather” has left her worried her “flight may be delayed”. Ibiza is widely regarded as the party capital of the world, with images of vibrant clubs packed with keen revellers moving to beats spun by world famous DJs most often coming to mind when hearing its name.

But that’s not all it’s known for – its pristine, serene beaches offer a breathtaking retreat for those craving a spot of relaxation; hikers are spoiled for choice with rugged yet scenic cliffs, coastal paths, pine forests and other dramatic areas; while the UNESCO-listed walled old town of Dalt Vila is a haven for history lovers; with plenty more on offer too.

It’s no surprise then that the destination is a top choice for a wide range of holidays, with its usually hot summers and mild, gentle winters making it a decent getaway destination all year round.

This August, however, is a different story entirely. A sudden change in sea levels has led to flooding, heavy rainfall and strong winds.

There’s been reports of locals and tourists alike bolting from Platja de s’Arenal beach, which can be found in the town of Sant Antoni de Portmany, while an event planned to honour the music of a Spanish rock band was cancelled by San Antonio Town Hall “for security reasons”, after the stage was surrounded by sea water.

The flooding followed previous warnings from weather chiefs on the threat of ‘mini tsunamis’ – or rissagas, as they’re known locally – due to hit parts of the Balearic Islands at the beginning of the week.

Majorca Daily Bulletin reported: “Mallorca experienced two minor ‘rissagas’, also known as meteotsunamis, in the ports of Andratx and Soller on Monday, as the Balearic Islands remained under watch for sudden sea level changes.”

How have holidaymakers fared?

Many visitors to Ibiza have shared their experiences of the “extreme weather” online. One mum captured footage of the pool area around her hotel, with winds whipping the palm trees and the cushions strapped to the sun loungers, and shared it to TikTok.

In text written over the top of the clip, the mum penned: “Go to Ibiza in August they said!!!” while in the caption, she added: “Think our flight may be delayed!”

In the comments section, fellow TikTok users were keen to share their thoughts. One person said: “I went in August and it was so sunny and hot 33 degrees.”

Another shared: “Mate last year we were caught in the worst storm’s Ibiza’s had in decades.”

A third said: “We are doing 12 hours in Ibiza with no hotel THIS SATURDAY.”

To which, the mum replied: “Saturday will be beautiful I’m sure! Don’t worry, it’s very rarely like this!”

But someone else said: “Everyone knows around this time of year there is a chance for extreme weather.”

And another agreed: “It rains every year by this time so it’s nothing new and won’t stop anything either.”

Another Ibiza-holidaymaker shared a light-hearted clip mocking herself after sharing envious clips of her getaway before being “humbled” by the torrential downpour.

In the caption, she explained: “Yesterday: ‘Basically, I’m in Ibiza… and you’re not.’

“Today: Ibiza humbled me. We held out under that umbrella for FAR longer than was sensible before admitting defeat!”

Travel outside of the peak season and the city will seem as busy as any other city.

Head to Las Ramblas first thing in the morning to avoid the crowds, and you’ll also get to see the magic of the street performers setting up.

While others are heading to the Sagrada Familia (which is stunning and a must visit, but do expect it to be busy) head around 30 minutes on the bus from the city centre, where you will find Parc Guell.

Also designed by Antoni Gaudi, the sprawling park features fairytale-like houses covered in mosaics, a grand hall with hundreds of pillars, and breathtaking views of the city.

For somewhere with a cheap drink, head to Nevermind Bar just off Las Ramblas.

This grunge dive bar is insanely cool with a skateboarding half- pipe inside and has €1 (86p) beers from 5pm to around 10pm. Cyann Fielding, Travel Reporter.

Ibiza

While partygoers flock to the southern coastlines of Ibiza where mega- clubs boom until the early hours and lively bars spill onto the sands, the north remains untouched and void of tourists.

That’s what makes it so special.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for cocktails on a cabana at a bohemian beach resort, but I like to blend it with unadulterated relaxation – and that’s what this island does best.

Head north and you’ll find ultra exclusive hotels like the Six Senses and Hacienda Na Xamena.

But don’t stay there; instead, book a more-affordable boutique hotel near the charming cobbled streets of the Old Town and explore the other side of Ibiza by boat.

Trips can be booked from the Old Town harbour, Playa d’En Bossa or San Antonio (with companies like samboat.co.uk and leboat.com).

You’ll get to sail past quiet, rugged coves with the brightest of blue waters – on one visit, my friend and I had an entire patch of sand to ourselves, that is until a couple of locals pottered over to play a mid- afternoon game of chess, perched on the rocks.

Tenerife

Tenerife might be one of the most popular Spanish islands to visit, but there is a hidden beach that you have to know about to find.

Tucked behind the towering pink Moorish resort Ritz-Carlton is Cueva de la Abama.

Private beaches are banned in Spain, but what makes this so hidden is that it is tucked down a winding road that weaves behind the resort.

The golden sands are overlooked by palm trees and a banana plantation, with a beach bar to keep you well hydrated all day.

If you want to arrive in style, stay at the resort – it offers a quaint green land train down to the beach that is exclusive to guests, as well as a funicular.

Seville has been named everything from the happiest Spanish city to one of the best places to visit in the world – but it is also insanely affordable if you know where to look.

There’s Taberna Perejil, where you can find wine for €1.20 (£1) or Spanish cheap chain 100 Montaditos, which is scattered throughout the city with small beers from €1 (86p).

You can even visit some of the top attractions for free, if you’re quick.

Majorca

You can’t go wrong with a holiday to Majorca.

It’s got everything you want from an island, beautiful beaches, a pretty Old Town and plenty of activities to do.

The capital, Palma, is the perfect blend of city and beach with a busy Old Town full of winding streets with classic high street names and plenty of designer shops found on the ‘Golden Mile’.

It’s lined with brands like Louis Vuitton, Bvlgari and Hugo Boss but there are also little trinket shops selling shell-adorned jewellery and souvenirs too.

Majorca is hot in the summer, it’s why so many of us Brits flock there, and when it’s time to cool off with an ice cream, Giovanni L. Gelato Deluxe is the place to go.

It’s Palma’s oldest ice cream parlour with around 80 flavours to choose from.

Although I would recommend pistachio, which has twice been awarded the title for the “World’s Best Pistachio Ice Cream”.

One of my favourite spots that was actually very quiet was Levita Café.

It’s a 30-minute drive from the capital, but a two-minute walk from my hotel.

Valencia

The sun-soaked city of Valencia is a tourist magnet with its stunning Old Town, gorgeous parks and attractions and vast swathe of golden sands.

But many visitors can miss out on one of the hidden, natural wonders of the region and the place where Valencia’s most famous culinary treat is grown.

The Albufera Natural Park is home to lagoons and rice paddies where the main ingredient for paella is grown and taking a boat trip along the lagoon in a traditional boat – called an albuferenc – offers a very different view of this buzzing coastal city.

Drifting peacefully along rivers fringed with reeds and bursting with varied bird life is a real treat – and at the end of the journey, you get to sample a traditional paella at a local restaurant like Nou Raco with its elevated terrace offering views across the lagoon. Lisa Minot, Head of Travel

Cadiz

If you’re tired of overcrowded tourist traps and want a slice of authentic Andalusian culture, check out Cadiz.

Sunny Cadiz in the south of Spain is where the locals like to holiday – where Vespas hum through sun-bleached alleys which spill out into busy market squares.

Cadiz’s old town is anchored by these bustling plazas, where you can pick up everything from nourishing acai bowls to tasty cones of jamon Iberico.

Plaza de la Catedral is overlooked by the massive 18th-century Catedral de Santa Cruz and its gold-tiled dome – this spot is the centrepiece of the Old Town.

In the evenings, a traditional merry-go-round and street musicians liven up the square, making it the perfect spot to sit with a local sherry and watch the world go by.

The cathedral itself is well worth a visit, with a £7 ticket granting you access inside, as well as the top of the tower, the crypts and exhibitions.

There are plenty of gorgeous beaches here, too.

Playa la Caleta is a small stretch of sand that sits between two castles (and makes an appearance in Bond film Die Another Day) whilst Playa Victoria has white sand and a lengthy promenade. Jenna Stevens, Travel Reporter.

Alcudia

For beaches with powder-soft sands and waters so calm they feel like a giant paddling pool, take a trip to Alcudia in Majorca.

Growing up, we returned here year after year on family holidays – and now I understand why my parents picked this spot.

Alcudia is the ultimate Majorcan destination for families, with plenty of affordable hotels lining its beachfront with attractions like HidroPark Alcudia nearby (the only waterpark in the north of Majorca).

For history buffs, the Old Town is home to Roman ruins including an amphitheatre, plus you can walk along the top of the ring-shaped medieval fortification walls.

There’s some seriously affordable stays here, too.

Teguise, Lanzarote

While millions flock to Lanzarote’s stunning beaches and coastline every year, there’s delights to discover in the historic inland capital, Teguise.

Every Sunday morning, the cobblestone streets with their Lanzarote signature whitewashed low-rise houses are filled with more than 400 stalls for the island’s largest open-air market.

Running from 9am to 2pm, there’s a host of treasures to admire and buy including artisanal volcanic rock jewellery, handmade ceramics and 100 per cent organic cotton clothing.

Foodies can get their fill with artisan goat cheeses, cactus jams, and local Mojo sauces – get there early for the best pick of the local produce and fewer crowds and don’t just focus on the stalls.

Teguise’s own boutiques, art galleries, and courtyards inside historic 15th- century buildings open up on market day and often hold some hidden gems.

THEY’VE been soaking up the Ibiza sunshine, while wrapping their arms around one another like two lovesick teenagers at a beach rave.

So it’s only natural that fans have begun asking whether former glamour model Katie Price, 48, and party king Wayne Lineker, 64, could be embarking on a new romance after a trying year for Pricey – who ditched her wedding ring for the Ibiza bash.

Pictured on a sunbed at the O Beach Ibiza last week, with Katie wearing a barely-there bikini, the tactile displays of affection between the two showbiz veterans had everyone asking the same question: what on earth is going on here?

Indeed, one insider told me: “It certainly got everyone talking. Naturally people started to wonder if there could be a romantic spark between the pair.

“While many questions have been raised about Katie’s husband Lee Andrews and the reality of his finances, Wayne is the real deal.

“He’s raking it in with all his Ibiza businesses and he’s not ashamed to show off the rewards of his hard work.”

It’s no secret that Katie’s love life has been a rollercoaster of late.

After a whirlwind romance and shock January wedding to Dubai-based businessman Lee, recent months have brought a storm of drama.

Self-proclaimed “millionaire” Lee is back in a Dubai prison for unpaid debts and Katie has voiced her frustration to The Sun’s Clemmie Moodie over the “ridiculous” drama surrounding him.

Wayne, brother of football legend Gary Lineker, is known as a party boy, and many wondered if the newlywed was seeking comfort in his famously welcoming arms.

After all, he has a taste for models – with his past girlfriends including model Danielle Sandhu and the late Love Island star Sophie Gradon.

But before anyone starts buying a wedding hat for another Pricey trip down the aisle, we can reveal the real truth behind their close connection.

According to those close to Katie, the pair are strictly platonic and the tactile body language is simply the result of two larger-than-life personalities who love letting their hair down together.

“Katie and Wayne are just brilliant mates, plain and simple,” a close insider spilled to us last night.

“People look at the photos of them cuddling up or whispering during the eclipse, and because it’s Katie, they instantly assume there’s a massive romantic scandal brewing.

“But honestly? It’s completely innocent. They just get each other.”

My source continued: “They are both veterans of the showbiz scene and they both love a massive party.

“When Katie is in Ibiza, Wayne is her go-to guy. He treats her like royalty and ensures she has a great time.

“There is zero romantic spark there. She sees him like a fun, cheeky older brother who knows exactly how to throw the best parties.”

Katie’s recent trip to the Mediterranean wasn’t just a wild solo getaway to escape the exhausting Lee Andrews saga back home. It was a fun-filled adventure for her beloved eldest son Harvey, 24, who joined her on the Spanish island.

And it’s actually Wayne’s bond with Harvey that has cemented his status as one of Katie’s most treasured pals.

Harvey, who has Prader-Willi syndrome and is also autistic and blind, was also at the sprawling Ibiza resort dancing away to his favourite tunes.

For protective mum Katie, seeing the entrepreneur go out of his way to ensure her boy had a spectacular time meant the absolute world.

“Wayne is absolutely brilliant with Harvey, and that’s the fastest way to Katie’s heart. Not romantically, but purely as a loyal friend,” my insider revealed.

“Wayne rolled out the red carpet for them and even made sure he had his favourite meal of Spaghetti Carbonara.

“He makes Harvey feel so special, safe, and included in all the fun. Katie is endlessly appreciative of that.”

This supportive dynamic is especially poignant for the mum-of-five, given the well-documented absence of Harvey’s biological father.

Former Premier League footballer Dwight Yorke has played no part in his son’s upbringing, leaving Katie to deal with all of Harvey’s very complex needs on her own.

“It genuinely breaks Katie’s heart that Harvey’s real dad has never done a thing for him, so when she sees men like Wayne stepping up just to be kind, patient and supportive, she is so touched,” the pal explained.

“Wayne doesn’t have to go out of his way for Harvey, but he does it because he has a big heart. That’s why Katie is so loyal to him. She will defend their friendship to the hilt.”

So, while the pictures of them cosying up under the sun might scream new romance to the untrained eye, the reality is far sweeter.

It is clearly a feeling shared by Wayne, who took to Instagram to pay tribute to Katie.

He wrote a “special message” to the businesswoman, writing: “We’ve certainly had our moments over the years, you more than anyone knows that.

“We’ve faced obstacles, made mistakes and sometimes been our own worst enemies.

“But through it all, there’s one thing I believe we’ve always shared: our two hearts and our genuine love of helping other people.”

With the baggage of her recent marital woes weighing heavily on her mind, Katie wanted a place to let off steam with her son.

And the O Beach did not let her down. The club’s waitresses, wearing skimpy outfits, added to the upbeat party vibe, showing off their best moves on the stage and holding up cards spelling ‘Harvey’ as partygoers chanted his name.

Harvey looked over the moon and threw his hands up in the air with joy.

“Katie knows exactly what she’s doing,” our insider laughed. “She knows people will talk when she wraps her arms around Wayne in a tiny bikini. But she doesn’t care anymore.”

Whether her husband Lee, who remains in Al Awir prison, will be equally nonchalant remains to be seen.

Visitors to the holiday hotspot either descend for wild nights of debauchery at the hardcore super­clubs or they are doing sunrise yoga and sipping green juices at high-priced wellness retreats.

Then there are people like me, who fancy the idea of dabbling in a little bit of both — and want to bring the kids along, too.

Luckily, all that is possible thanks to the arrival of the achingly cool hotel, Bless Ibiza The Site, which opened in June.

One of two Bless hotels on the beautiful Balearic island, the sprawling 5* resort is in the action-packed region of Playa D’en Bossa.

Less than a ten-minute hop from the airport, it is within easy reach of the traditional restaurants of the Old Town and some of the island’s famous nightclubs.

The best thing about it, though, is not its location. It’s that, unless you want to dance the night away, you do not need to leave the hotel.

The vibe is pure Ibiza: glamorous without trying too hard, stylish without taking itself too seriously, and well-equipped for sun-soaked days — and, of course, those famous late-night adventures.

And then there’s the delicious food, which is just the cherry on the ultra-decadent cake.

With six excellent restaurants on site, effortlessly chic cocktail bars, and views that made my phone camera work overtime, this resort really had predicted my every whim.

Children are well catered for, too, from the chocolate fountain — which sent them nuts at the breakfast buffet — to a fun-packed kids’ club where the activities extend well beyond the normal sporting fodder to quirky things like pasta making and pottery.

An army of professional nannies are also on hand to offer late-night babysitting in case Mum and Dad want to stay out past bedtime.

And, of course, there’s ample opportunity to do that.

Less than a 20-minute drive away is UNVRS — the largest club in the world, which only opened last year with a big promotion from superstar actor Will Smith.

There’s also the luxurious beach club Playa Soleil less than a ten- minute walk along the shore, which stays open until 3am most days and 4am on Saturdays.

But why splash extra cash when the hotel has its very own buzzing Palm Club?

Plush loungers are surrounded by tropical greenery, free for guests to use, or you can shell out for Balinese day beds or a private cabana, and cool off in the pool, which boasts a swim-up bar.

If you have had one too many margaritas the day before, the antidote is the resort’s spa where the treatments are accompanied by a relaxing water circuit.

While typical partygoers may not prioritise a good night’s kip, I do.

And let me tell you, each of the ultra-comfy 466 rooms will ensure you sleep soundly.

All are spacious and elegantly decorated — and some are even spread over two floors with private plunge pools.

The highlight of this plush resort, however, is undoubtedly the food.

Ibiza is not short of excellent ­dining options. It is home to three restaurants that have one Michelin star, as well as traditional fincas, serving up properly authentic grub in a ­rustic setting.

But you will find some of the best grub on the island right here at Bless Ibiza The Site.

My favourite (although it was a tough call) was Coya — a hip seafront Peruvian restaurant, which is an offshoot of the swanky celeb hangout in London.

Every table has a sea view from its perch on the sand and the mellow beats from the nearby DJ give the place a buzz.

Vibrant and fresh dishes include guacamole (which is whipped up tableside) and delicate seabass ceviche, washed down with a sangria that was dangerously delicious.

Our leisurely lunch here stretched into the early evening, and even though Bless is slap-bang between two of the island’s most iconic nightclubs, Ushuaia and Hi, I was far more tempted to stay put and watch the sun set from the hotel’s chic rooftop bar.

Cloud 9 has a collaboration with one of the world’s 50 best bars, Handshake Speakeasy, and it doesn’t do things by halves.

Despite mean competition, this spot has clawed its way right to the top of visitors’ wish lists thanks to an enviable drinks menu featuring classics with a twist.

Try the clarified piña colada, made with aged brandy, pineapple, coconut and micro-coriander, which has a clear and thin consistency — nothing like the thick and heavy traditional version you might expect.

Wild campers and locals are going head-to-head in the UK’s best-known and most visited national park as overtourism tensions threaten to boil over.

Paths blocked by campervans. Discarded tampons and nappies. Dogs let loose on the fells. Sausages grilled in the shadow of ‘BBQs forbidden’ signs.

These are just some of the hundreds of complaints from locals fed up with what they see as unacceptable tourist behavior in the Lake District.

A great number of instances of littering, wildfires, and campers leaving equipment behind (known as fly camping) were logged in the Friends of the Lake District’s annual survey.

“Some people have no social conscience and do not care about the impact of their behaviour on the environment or other people. We see litter on the fells, on lakesides and thrown out of cars onto grass verges. We even saw someone having a BBQ sat right next to a sign prohibiting it on Ullswater last year,” one unhappy local wrote in this year’s survey.

Another added: “I’m from the Lakes and have always appreciated the tourism and what it does for the area. However, I feel we have now got to the stage where tourism is over capacity and negatively impacting the area and the quality of life for residents and animals. Frequent traffic jams, poorly parked cars, and most upsetting of all, litter. Today we came across a discarded used nappy and a tampon. My children and I frequently go out with our litter pickers. It really saddens me to see the Lake District in environmental decline.”

It is difficult to know quite how acute the problem is. The surveys collect anecdotal evidence and solid figures on littering and anti-social behaviour are hard to come by.

What is undeniable is the shifting demographic of those coming. In 2018, 52% of visitors to Cumbria were under 50. By 2022, that’d risen to 74%.

Surprisingly, overall visitor numbers were down at the last count (2024) compared to both 2023 and the pre-Covid year of 2019. Roughly five million fewer people visited in 2024 than in 2019.

Jeremy Smith is head of campaigns and engagement at Friends of the Lake District. He believes that relations between visitors and locals have been tense since the Covid years, in part due to the changing nature of the tourists coming.

“With the increase in the number of people taking holidays in the UK, in terms of behavior, what may have been happening in Ibiza and Cyprus has been domesticated in places like the Lake District,” he told the Mirror.

Local laws were tightened earlier this year in response to resident complaints. Those causing environmental damage by littering, starting fires, or committing anti-social behaviour linked to camping or the “inappropriate use” of motorhomes can now be fined up to £100, under Westmorland and Furness Council public protection orders.

Wild camping rules are a little more complex. It isn’t legally permitted without landowner consent, but is widely tolerated if strict ‘Leave No Trace’ guidelines are followed. These require visitors to camp only above the highest fell wall (around 400m+), well away from roads and towns, stay for just one night, and never light a fire.

According to some locals, the rules are being flouted regularly.

“The path by the shore had a tent pitched in the middle of it, and when I politely pointed this out to the occupants, they swore at me aggressively,” one survey respondent wrote.

“People do not like to be questioned about leaving litter, loose dogs, motorbikes, it’s a sense of entitlement to do just as they like. There are very few authority figures, such as police or wardens. It should not be up to pensioners to police the park.”

The island has everything from the coloured houses of Tobermory, as well as dolphin and seal watching – and even fluffy highlands cows on the beach.

While Mull was the only UK island to make the list, the nearby Achill Island in Ireland came in 8th.

It made the top 10 for its “soft pink sunrises and turquoise seas to moss-green hills and fiery sunsets.”

Europe fared well too, with many in the top 20 including Madeira (4th), Milos (10th), Ischia (15th), Ibiza (17th) and Corsica (18th).

Popular islands Brits will know such as Jamaica was in 19th, while Bali was in 20th and Mauritius was 24th.

It sits beneath towering cliffs that shield it from the wind, with stunningly clear waters that prove ideal for swimming and snorkeling.

Porthcurno has pure white sand with gorgeous turquoise waters to match. It has the ability to transport you to paradise.

The sand is made up of seashells pounded to powder by the sea over millions of years, which is partly responsible for the beautiful colour of the water. Porthcurno’s south-facing direction, flanked by high headlands, provides natural shelter from the wind and weather, giving the beach its own near-microclimate. The towering cliffs on either side make it easy to find a sheltered spot even on the most blustery of days.

The renowned open-air Minack Theatre is carved into the cliffs above, meaning you can enjoy a Shakespeare play with a sea view.

The theatre was the vision of one woman who decided to carve a clifftop theatre at the bottom of her garden. It’s well worth the climb up the cliff path, if only for the view back down over the bay. You need to book tickets in advance for performances.

The best time to visit is mid to low tide. At low tide the beach widens dramatically, and you can walk to nearby Pedn Vounder. As the tide retreats from Pedn Vounder, a golden sandbar rises out of the turquoise sea creating a shallow lagoon pool. In the late nineteenth century, Porthcurno became the British connection point of the world’s very first international telegraph cable, stretching all the way to India. In the inter-war period, the cable office briefly became the busiest telegraph station in the world, capable of transmitting up to two million words a day. Driving is by far the easiest way to get to the beach, with public transport options sadly limited. It takes about 25 minutes from Penzance or 45 minutes from St Ives. The car park fills up quickly on peak days, so arrive early or late.

Dogs are banned from the beach between 15 May and 30 September, between 10am–6pm. RNLI lifeguards patrol from mid-May to the last weekend of September.

One visitor wrote on Tripadvisor the beach was “absolutely breathtaking. The most amazing beach beautiful white sand and turquoise sea. Breathtaking views and definitely one of the best beaches you will ever find.”

Another said: “Spent the day here, it’s just like being abroad, clear blue skies water, perfect sandy beach and so peaceful. No arcades, no boats, no noise, just gorgeous.”

A NEW cafe right by the beach has opened and it looks like it could be in Spain.

Southsea Beach Cafe has turned the former Beach Club into its second cafe in time for the summer.

Inspired by beach bars across Europe, the fringed umbrellas and rattan chairs wouldn’t look out of place in an Ibiza bar.

Serving breakfast and lunch, you can get all the classic of a Full English or avocado on toast, as well as burgers and fish and chips.

They also serve alcohol including cocktails and grazing boards.

Live music evenings will also return this summer, including Jazz Cafe nights and 5 Nights of Sumer with “sunset dining, European sharing platters and cocktails by the sea” along with music.

“Even if it all ends tomorrow, which it won’t but if it was I’m happy with that I’ve made a killing do you know what I mean I’ve smashed it.”

He acknowledged that his time in the public eye won’t last forever but he’ll certainly be making the most of it two stepping across Ibiza this summer.

Jack added: “Listen nothing lasts forever does it so you’ve just gotta strike while the iron’s hot and make the most of it.”

Ahead of his first Misfits boxing match on Saturday he told us he’s spent two months clean and sober in preparation.

He said: “It’s been what, seven, eight weeks now. I’m itching for one [a drink]!”

Jack will return to the Spanish island – where it all began – later this year and he’s insisted he will be “well looked after,” by club owners.

“Places will offer free drinks, free tables, they offer me free hotels and stuff, yeah. That’s a bit of a privilege, being me now,” he admitted.

His stardom is not over yet as it was revealed earlier this year that he’ll be part of the cast for the upcoming season of Celebrity SAS.

The clip went on to showcase a breathtaking sandy beach with crystal-clear waters that ‘looks straight out of the Caribbean’, along with secluded water coves just waiting to be explored.

For those fancying a break from the beach, there are also Medieval towns and castles to discover, as well as coastal walking trails that offer truly spectacular scenery.

They wrote in the caption: “Costa Brava is one of the most beautiful destinations in Spain, with crystal-clear waters, hidden beaches, charming medieval villages, scenic coastal walks, and stunning Mediterranean views.”

The Costa Brava, which translates as “Wild Coast,” is a rugged, striking stretch of shoreline in Catalonia, north-eastern Spain. Running from Blanes all the way to the French border, it’s celebrated for its dramatic cliffs, secluded coves, medieval villages, and its connection to surrealist artist Salvador Dalí.

“If you’re planning a Spain vacation, add Costa Brava to your travel bucket list,” the caption continued.
