What is the Beez in the Trap trend?

The mashup has produced a surge of videos, with participants lip-syncing lines from both songs in a duet or surprise reveal.

What were the original songs?

The original songs fuelling this trend come from different genres and eras – Nicki Minaj’s 2012 hip hop single Beez in the Trap and 4 Non Blondes’ 1993 alternative rock hit What’s Up.

Beez in the Trap, featuring rapper 2 Chainz, was released on May 29, 2012 as a single from her second studio album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

Minaj said the phrase “I beez in the trap” means she’s always making money, as she explained on the Graham Norton Show when the song came out.

During the interview, Minaj clarified that “beez” is slang for “I am always” and “the trap” refers to any place where money is made.

The other single, 4 Non Blondes’ What’s Up, was released on June 11, 1993 and went on to become one of the decade’s definitive rock anthems.

Written and sung by Linda Perry, the song’s rallying chorus of “what’s going on?” became ingrained in pop culture.

The mashup has brought both songs new attention on social media.

The clips usually begin with someone lip-syncing the opening line from What’s Up over the beat of Minaj’s track.

The focus then swaps to another participant, who delivers Minaj’s razor-sharp hook.

As of November 28, 2025, the trend has seen over 600,000 TikTok videos created.

It has been embraced by both of the original artists, with 4 Non Blondes’ Linda Perry telling Rolling Stone it is “ridiculous in all the best ways”.

What celebrities have been doing the trend?

Education advocate and youngest-ever Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai joined Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show for a rendition, which has been viewed over 73million as of November 28, 2025.

Sabrina Carpenter and Marcello Hernandez did a version that has so far been viewed over 18million times.

Other major celebs taking part in the trend include rapper Ice Spice with PinkPanthress and Quen Blackwell, while Jennifer Lopez and former 4 Non Blondes singer Linda Perry – who sang the vocal on the original – have joined in on the fun.

Kylie Jenner and Khloe Kardashian have also had a go, as well as Gordon Ramsay, his wife Tana and daughter Tilly.

ITV’s Frauds is about two former partners-in-crime who reunite for one last audacious heist after one of them is released from prison on compassionate grounds.

The synopsis for the series reads: “Bert and Sam embark on the most audacious of art thefts, gathering a talented team of outcasts to help them plan this audacious crime.

“Whilst the team must overcome numerous challenges before they can pull off the heist, it’s the power struggle between Bert and Sam that threatens to derail their plans and destroy them both.

“Set against the epic rolling hills of southern Spain and the dark criminal underbelly that casts a shadow over the glistening coast, Frauds is a complex and addictive story of friendship, deception and survival.”

It blends dark comedy with the cinematic heist genre, set against the scenic backdrop of southern Spain — but is it a true story?

When is Frauds on?

Frauds premiered at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX on Sunday, October 5, 2025.

The series includes six episodes airing on consecutive Sunday and Monday nights over three weeks.

All episodes are also available on ITVX for streaming.

Is Frauds based on a true story?

Frauds is a work of fiction created by Suranne Jones and co-writer Anne-Marie O’Connor.

The plot revolves around Bert, who has been in a Spanish prison for ten years and is released due to a terminal cancer diagnosis.

Upon release, she reconnects with her former partner Sam to plan a multi-million-pound art heist.

While the series captures the feel of real criminal undertakings, it is not an adaptation of a true crime or real-life story.

What is the Frauds cast?

Frauds tells the story of Bert and Sam, whose toxic friendship will be pushed to the ultimate test.

Bert tries to lure her pal out of criminal retirement to pull off a multi-million-pound art heist.

Suranne Jones stars as Bert — the career criminal recently released from prison.

Who is Rasmus Hojgaard?

Rasmus Hojgaard was born on March 12, 2001, in Billund, Denmark.

He began playing golf aged four with his identical twin brother Nicolai.

Both brothers rose rapidly in the sport, reaching the pinnacle of the game — Nicolai was part of the victorious European Ryder Cup team in 2023.

Unfortunately, he didn’t make Team Europe this year — for the 2025 Ryder Cup, only one change has been made to the lineup.

Nicolai was replaced by twin brother Rasmus after he qualified through the ranking system.

Rasmus turned professional in 2019, making his mark by winning the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open the same year.

In the process, he became the third-youngest winner in European Tour history at just 18 years and 271 days old.

Rasmus has gone on to collect five European Tour wins so far, including notable victories such as the 2020 ISPS Handa UK Championship, 2021 Omega European Masters and 2023 Made in Himmerland in Denmark.

Rasmus and Julie have been seen together on social media and at events dating back as far as 2019.

However specific details of how they met and their ongoing relationship remain private.

The Ryder Cup is back THIS WEEK as Team Europe hope to defend their crown on American soil

Luke Donald‘s team has travelled to New York ahead of the big start on Friday.

Europe has dominated the prestigious competition in the 21st century, winning eight of the 11 meetings since 2002.

But only two of those wins have come in the United States, with Team USA winning both the 2021 and 2016 competitions.

In fact, Team Europe has only won one of the four Ryder Cups held in the US – 2012 – since their win there in 2004 and Team USA enter as the odds-on bookies’ favourites.

“Strictly is a national institution, and I can’t wait to get started.

“All that’s left to say is: good luck to my partner! Here’s hoping they can help me go from La Voix into La Danse.”

La Voix also told Radio 2’s Scott Mills: “I can’t dance, I’ve always said it’s not my thing.

“There are times when he’ll say, ‘I’ll look after Wilde. Go out and have fun’. Then he’ll send me a message saying, ‘Look at this photo of Wilde’, and I’ll go, ‘Damn it, I was in the zone with the girls’.

“It is difficult managing it but you’ve got to switch off and take an hour for yourself, then you’ll feel better for it.”

Talking about the possibility of another child, she added: “I really would love to, but Joel before was like, ‘one is good’.

“One means we’re in control, and we can totally manage that.

“But now Wilde is here, I would totally love another one.

“I feel like Joel is Wilde’s sibling. I feel like there is enough fun in the house, and there is enough drama and energy going on.”

Who is hosting the NTAs 2025?

The National Television Awards (NTAs) return for their 30th anniversary in 2025, taking place on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

The Masked Singer UK host Joel is returning for his fifth year in a row hosting the National Television Awards (NTAs) after replacing comedian David Walliams back in 2021.

Opening up on fronting this year’s ceremony, he said: “The NTAs are 30 years old and the party planning starts here!

“Star guests? Check. All our best-loved shows? Check. My payment? Cheque. Join us at London’s O2 to mark this extra special evening!”

And on what he thinks about 2025’s prize shortlist, he added: “It’s the best the shortlist has ever been since I’ve hosted it. I genuinely don’t know which way it’s going to go.

“That’s what’s really exciting about the NTAs — it’s shows, those things that are loved by the public.

“It’s not decided by a panel or a committee. It’s the people at home — it’s what they like, it’s what they watch.”

Can you change a name on a flight booking? Rules for different airlines explained

SMALL details can sometimes lead to the biggest headaches when it comes to air travel.

And when it comes to passenger names on a booking, getting these right is key if you want everything to go smoothly at the airport.

Airlines have a right to deny boarding to anyone who’s ticket doesn’t match their ID, and some travellers have been denied boarding for failing to correct this ahead of their flight.

So whether you need to correct a typo or transfer a ticket to a different person entirely – here are the name change rules for different airlines, made simple.

Ryanair

Low-cost airline Ryanair allows changes to names up to 24 hours before a flight’s departure time if processed online, and two hours before if done at the airport desk.

Both of these options will incur a name change fee: £115 on the website and £160 through an agent.

read more on airline rules

If you notice a minor mistake within 48 hours booking you can correct up to three characters in a name free of charge – but more substantial or later changes will carry a price tag.

Maiden and married names are the exception here.

Ryanair will amend a name at no extra cost if your surname has changed on the document you are using for travel.

Editing a booking to be in someone else’s name is also possible, but not if one of the flights on the booking has already departed (for example, if you are already abroad and trying to make changes for your return flight).

Those name changes that fall within 48 hours of booking and over 24 hours before flying can be made on the Ryanair website or app by clicking ‘Manage this booking’ and selecting ‘Change a name’.

But if you’re already checked in, you’ll need to contact the airline and pay the slightly higher price.

easyJet

easyJet also allows name tweaks, letting passengers correct titles and spelling mistakes of up to three letters without any fee.

The airline is slightly more lenient than Ryanair with this, as it does not have a time limit of 48 hours after booking.

You can do this on either its website or app under ‘View Bookings’.

Changes of more than three characters or a whole name can also be made, but a fee will be applied per passenger, per flight.

The cost is £60 for online amendments and £65 for going through the customer service team.

And in the event of needing a very last-minute change, easyJet gives you a little more time than Ryanair by allowing requests at the airport desk up to 90 minutes before departure.

Jet2

British airline Jet2 has a more restrictive policy when it comes to name changes.

Only the lead passenger can make edits and absolutely no changes are allowed after check-in.

It does have the same three letter rule as easyJet and Ryanair – allowing minor tweaks for free – but the fee that applies for more major changes can end up being higher.

While amendments made 14 days or more ahead of the flight time only cost £50, changes made after that will cost £150 plus any fare difference since the booking was made.

This means that if the price of your flight has gone up and you request changes just days before your trip, it could be significantly more costly than £150.

Jet2 also does not allow for any name changes within 48 hours of flying, so you have less flexibility.

If you are within the permitted window and wish to go ahead with a change it’s easy to do this through the ‘Manage My Booking’ function on its app or website.

Vueling

Vueling is fast becoming a popular choice for budget-friendly flights, with many European destinations on its roster.

It also offers different fare options from Basic to Flex.

Name change fees for Vueling are dependent on which you have purchased – if you have a Basic plane ticket, a full name swap will cost you €50 (roughly £43).

And similar to Jet2, you may also be charged the difference if the price of your flight has increased.

However, if you paid for a Flex ticket the total price might be lower as you will only be asked to pay the set change fee, not the fare difference.

Small spelling errors can be corrected at no extra cost up to two hours before flying providing none of the flights in the booking have already been taken.

Adding middle names or second surnames is also free of charge.

This is very important to check as some airlines don’t require middle names for a booking, but Vueling’s policy is that passenger tickets must match their identity documents exactly.

Wizz Air

Passengers can access their Wizz Account and go to ‘Make changes’ if they wish to change a name for their upcoming flight.

Typos of up to three letters are free, while ticket transfers to a new completely name cost €70 (around £61).

This is allowed up to three hours before departure.

Wizz Air‘s call centre is also on hand for anyone who would prefer to make these changes by phone.

The airline is accommodating when it comes to changing surnames after marriage or divorce and will amend these for free for any passenger that provides the required documentation.

However, its website states that responses to such emails can take up to 30 days, so get in contact as soon as you can if you wish to request this.

British Airways

British Airways differs slightly compared to more budget airlines.

Its tickets are non-transferable, meaning passengers are not able to change an entire name on a booking and will instead need to cancel and re-book the ticket.

This will likely cost significantly more than any flat fee.

However, unlike other carriers, BA has a 24-hour grace period.

Customers have one day to completely cancel their flight free of charge, giving them the option to get a full refund and make a new booking in this time frame.

Free spelling corrections of up to three characters can be made by contacting the BA customer services team.
