ITV has unveiled the first look at its new reality quiz show with a surprising twist.
Fronted by Danny Dyer and Emily Atack, Nobody’s Fool has been billed as a “unique reality event packed full of drama and deception.”
In this ruthless contest, participants’ survival depends not on their actual intelligence, but on how clever their rivals perceive them to be.
Throughout the series, ten competitors from across the UK will share a purpose-built “Smart House,” taking part in a game where perception, tactics and trickery matter just as much as brainpower.
With challenges completed behind closed doors, assumptions, biases and initial impressions will prove crucial, as hasty conclusions and deliberate misdirection keep both contestants and audiences second-guessing.
Content cannot be displayed without consent
The show will feature daily individual quizzes testing various forms of intelligence, with correct answers contributing to a collective prize fund.
However, in a clever twist, only the participants themselves will know their actual performance – leaving them free to share as much or as little truth as they wish with their housemates.
As the series progresses, players must identify the weakest link among them and vote them out.
Discussing the programme, Danny Dyer enthused: “this is a blinder of a game show and unlike anything I’ve seen before. Emily and I had a brilliant time making it and much like the audience at home will be, we kept guessing right until the very end.”
Emily Atack added: “It’s so exciting to be part of something this new and fresh. The chance to work with Danny again was a no brainer for me. We had such a laugh. Can’t wait for everyone to watch, it’s an absolute must see.”
Sue Murphy, Director of Factual Entertainment at ITV, and Kate Teckman, Head of Development and Commissioning Editor at ITV, said: “Nobody’s Fool is an innovative reality/quiz crossover show that puts preconceptions, stereotypes and judgements to the test.”
They continued: “Danny and Emily are the perfect pairing to host this game of surprise and prejudice, that will no doubt have audiences on the edge of their seats.”
Meanwhile, Richard Cowles, MD, and Tom Gould, Director of Entertainment and Formats at Lifted Entertainment, added: “Nobody’s Fool takes a simple premise – How do you really determine how smart someone is?
He added: “Trust your preconceptions and judgement or what they tell you? – and turns that into a high stakes reality game show with up to £100k up for grabs.
“There is drama at every turn but with Danny and Emily on hosting duties, the fun and laughter is also never far away.”
IN The Devil Wears Prada, ambitions and egos are trampled over by stiletto-heeled rivals desperate to claw their way to the top of the fashion world.
But behind the scenes of the original 2006 film, British star Emily Blunt was playing matchmaker to the cast.

Speaking ahead of the release of The Devil Wears Prada 2, which is in cinemas today, she also talks about her close ties with cast member Stanley Tucci, who went on to marry Emily’s sister Felicity.
Emily, who has two children with her actor husband John Krasinski, says: “Stanley is my brother-in- law now. I have a little nephew and niece from it.
“And Annie met her husband Adam through me and John. There are so many tendrils that run out from this experience 20 years ago. It’s amazing.”

It certainly is remarkable how much has changed for the cast since the first film.
Before the hit movie was released, Londoner Emily was a relative unknown.
Being cast as Emily Charlton, the put-upon senior assistant to Meryl Streep’s nightmarish fashion magazine editor Miranda Priestly, was her big break.
‘So kind to me’
Emily recalls: “It really was my first big role. I mean, I had done some stuff in England that no one knew about. I felt very green but thrilled to be there.
“The first film — I have these lasting, very prominent memories of it. Such an informative time in my life. I really didn’t know anything.”
The actress hit it off straight away with Anne, who she affectionately refers to as Annie.
She continues: “Annie and Meryl and Stan. They were all so kind to me.”
The Devil Wears Prada was a worldwide success, making more than £250million at the box office — ten times its modest budget.
Anne, 43, who played naive aspiring journalist Andy Sachs, and Emily found their lives intertwined again two years later.
Emily met A Quiet Place actor John, 46, in a Los Angeles restaurant in 2008 and, later that year, he helped introduce Anne to his actor and jewellery designer friend Adam, 45.
This was a fortuitous event for Anne because that year her relationship with businessman Raffaello Follieri had ended after he was charged with fraud.

Oscar-nominated star Stanley, 65, first met Emily’s sister at the movie’s premiere. At that time, though, he was happily married to Kathryn Spath with whom he has three children.
Tragically, social worker Kathryn died from breast cancer in 2009, aged 47, leaving Stanley heartbroken.
A year later, he reconnected with literary agent Felicity at Emily and John’s star-studded wedding in Lake Como, Italy.
And the love links do not stop there.
In a strange twist, Anne and Adam held their California wedding on the same weekend in September 2012 as Stanley and Felicity celebrated their nuptials in London.
Meryl, 76, who had also remained good pals with Tucci, was one of his guests.
Working with her brother-in-law on the Devil Wears Prada sequel was fun for Emily.
She says: “We do love talking some s*** about family. It’s great. Bit of goss.”
Stanley, who plays Miranda’s right- hand man Nigel Kipling in the movies, has become a well-known foodie thanks to his BBC travel show Searching For Italy.

On their eating habits, Emily adds: “Stanley and I have never had a no-carbs rule. All we eat is beige. We eat only beige food. And John loves to eat.”
Emily’s daughters Hazel, 12, and Violet, nine, enjoyed playing with Stanley and Felicity’s children Matteo, 11, and eight-year-old Emilia when they stayed together in Italy to film scenes for The Devil Wears Prada 2.
Anne and Emily have also remained good friends since making the original, which meant the cast of the sequel were unusually close.
She says: “I do get nostalgic. I was very moved when we got back together and we did the table read 20 years later. Going into the second film, 20 years felt like a blink and also a lifetime. It’s a really wild thing.”

Emily continues: “When we got back together, I loved working with Annie because she’s a great dance partner in scenes. You know, she’s very spontaneous. She’ll sort of go with whatever you want to do.”
Emily also lapped up the attention of three-time Oscar winner Meryl.
The actress wore a glamorous tulle and feathered Schiaparelli gown at the New York premiere, which Streep clearly appreciated.
Emily laughs: “Meryl said she almost grabbed my boob on the red carpet just to feel it . . . the furry feathers. I would have loved it — it’s Meryl Streep.”
While her Devil Wears Prada character is famously particular about what she wears, that isn’t the case for Emily in real life.
The actress is far more casual when she is at home in London and New York.
She comments: “I feel like I still dress like a teenage boy. I think most of my life is dressed for comfort, you know, with the kids and everything, and going to set.
“But what I love about a press tour or a red carpet is that it can be a spectacle.”
The cast’s cosy love-in couldn’t be more different to the plot of The Devil Wears Prada 2.
Catty in catwalk
In the sequel, Miranda is still the ruthless editor of Runway, but the magazine is in financial trouble.
Andy, who made it as a writer, suddenly loses her job and finds herself back at Runway.
Meanwhile, Emily’s namesake character — Miranda’s former mistreated assistant, whose witty quotes include “I’m just one stomach flu away from my goal weight” — is now in charge of global brand Dior, which gives her all the power she needs for revenge.

Emily says: “It’s quite a switch-up in dynamics. She’s a major executive at Dior. And Miranda is ultimately rather beholden to her for the advertising space.

While Miranda has to tone down her harsh comments due to our woke work culture, Emily can still deliver a biting one-liner.
By keeping the catty in catwalk, it is Emily’s performance that has once again caught the eye of critics.
The Sun’s movie reviewer Dulcie Pearce commented yesterday that “it’s Blunt who steals every scene.”
That will come as no surprise to fans, who have followed the star’s glittering movie career over the past two decades. She has received Bafta nominations for The Devil Wears Prada, psychological thriller The Girl On The Train and biopic drama Oppenheimer in 2024.
The actress also enjoyed box office hits with Mary Poppins Returns in 2018 and, in the same year, post-apocalyptic horror film A Quiet Place, which was directed by her husband John.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 is expected to earn even more than the first film, with fans desperate to see the gang back together.
That is something Emily fully appreciates.
She concludes: “It feels like people really want to unite for something joyful. I love it.”

And while mum of three Emily made sure they were facing away from the camera in her latest snaps, their fun adventure to the park was clear.
Theo and Arabella were seen inspecting bluebells in the grass, with the little girl’s short dark hair and trendy outfit captured in one image.
Another picture saw the youngsters scooting towards a lake on their bikes, joined by Millie in a turquoise helmet, before they stopped to admire the view.
Emily then took a selfie showing her cycling in the countryside in a white top, with her youngest in a bike carrier and donning a pink helmet.

Speaking out in a 2021 YouTube video, Peter said: “So Emily’s point is that they weren’t born into the media – no one has ever seen their faces so she doesn’t really want anyone to see their faces.
“So when they go to school no one can really recognise them at that.”
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker then explained that the situation with his two children; Junior and Princess, from his marriage to Katie Price is different as they were “documenting” their lives.
“Obviously from J and P from day one, we were documenting our lives and they were part of that so I think they have always been in the media,” he added.
“And that’s the reasoning for it.
“So I have to respect Emily for that. She hasn’t done it. She says once you do cross that, there’s no going back so I’m like, ‘OK, no problem’”.
EMILY has been to Paris (obviously), the Alps, St Tropez, Venice, Rome – and now, it looks as if she’s off to Greece.
According to show creator Darren Star, filming is expected to take place across Greece and Monaco with production starting as soon as next month.

Crete
As an anti-fly-and-flopper, you know a hotel is good when even I’m tempted to just stay there the whole time.
Over on the west side of Crete, I spent a blissful few days at the family-friendly Royal Senses Resort & Spa.
The sprawling resort had me sold instantly with the massively long heated swimmingpool, as well as the adult-only spa section with day beds and hot tubs.
I had way too much fun travelling on the private hotel funicular every day up to my two-storey suite (that made me feel like I’d stepped into a Selling Sunset property).
Maldives floating breakfasts, live music at dinner, it was serious luxury without having to spend too much – rooms start from around £146 a night.
If you really do want to explore, this side of the island has some beautiful little spots, such as Margarites – a small village known for its ceramics – or Rethimno, a coastal city perfect for market shopping and cocktails.

A feeling of zen still wafts over me when I look back on my visit to Crete, around eight years ago.
Mum and I were staying in the sleepy town of Agios Nikolaos, on the east coast of the island, in a rugged and airy resort whose white-washed walls were contrasted by large pots of fuschia-coloured roses and climbing vines.
The hotel was a short wander to the main port, where terracotta-roofed houses overlook sparkling waters lined by authentic restaurants serving properly delicious tzatziki and Greek salads.
Gioma Meze is nestled into the cliff-face and whips up all the classic mezze dishes in a fuss-free setting.
From this port you can hitch a boat over to the teeny island of Spinalonga, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
It once operated as a leper colony in the early 1900s and has a fascinating story to tell – much of its stony fortress remains intact.

Blue Bay Beach Resort, Rhodes
The four-star Blue Bay Beach Resort sits a stone’s throw away from this beach, and has its own pools, splash park and water slides. Here you’re only a 15-minute drive away from Rhodes Old Town, where UNESCO-listed medieval streets wind through castle-like architecture. In the main restaurant, you’ll see show cooking displays as you take your pick from an extensive international buffet. Plus, Kalives beach is on the doorstep of this hotel, with its strikingly blue water and soft golden sands.

Mykonos
Being one of the most expensive islands in the Cyclades, Mykonos oozes glamour and luxury from its exclusive resorts to sleek beach clubs.
But it still has the charm of Greece with its classic white architecture, lime-coated trees and stone pathways all perfectly framed by bright pink bougainvillea.
Chora Town is beautiful and has lots of boutique shops selling elegant dresses, designer handbags and it is fun to window shop – or splash out if you wish.
There are 16 windmills on Mykonos and seven are on the hill in Chora which at sunset makes for an incredible photo.
If you’re lucky, you might spot several of the island’s pelicans walking about too.
They’re a mascot of the island, starting with the original, Petros who roamed the island for 30 years.

Kefalonia
My very first Greek island holiday is still my favourite – when I took my son, then three years old, to the stunning Kefalonia.
The island in the Ionian Sea — a Hollywood star in its own right thanks to the 2001 film version of Louis de Bernières’ wartime novel — ticked all the boxes and boasts what is often claimed as Greece’s best beach.
We spent a week on the island in mid-May and enjoyed everything it had to offer — without spending too much money.
Our timing (outside of school holidays) meant we were one of the few tourist groups on the island.
The weather was still perfect though. The average is highs of 21C in May and the same in October. There were no crowds, either.
So we were eating al fresco at top seafront restaurants without needing to make a booking.
On my favourite day, we picnicked at Myrtos Beach with huge Greek tomatoes, spanakopita, feta and hunks of bread with olive oil.
In a post lunch dip at what is regularly named one of Greece’s top five beaches, we were the only people in the sea.

Corfu
I’m convinced I’ve found the most underrated spot in Corfu.
Sidari sits on the northern tip of the island, and is often overlooked by those heading to popular resorts like Kavos or Corfu Town.
Sidari has some of the most stunning beaches I’ve seen. The Canal d’Amour is a dramatic sandstone cliff split in two to reveal a tiny beach, with pretty turquoise waters and caves to explore.
A short walk away you’ll find a main strip lined with affordable restaurants that feel super high-end.
Savannah Seaside offers amazing fruity cocktails and delicious flame-grilled skewers in a tropical beach club setting, plus there’s plenty of spots serving gyros and fries for €3.
Plus hotels in this region are mind-bogglingly affordable. I stayed in the Eleni Apartments with TUI, who offer week-long breaks there including return flights from £297.
So if you want a Greek island holiday with plenty of sea views, fruity cocktails and delicious gyros – but without the Mykonos prices – give Sidari a try.

Santorini
Santorini is just as beautiful in real-life as it is in all those posts on Instagram.
The clifftop village of Oia on the northern tip of the island is the most famous where you’ll see the three blue dome churches across the skyline.
It’s even been called one of the most beautiful villages in the world.
Yes, it’s busy. So if you want to avoid the crowds then I’d suggest going in shoulder season like I did in May.
In saying that, you do still have to dodge tourists for a good photo and walking down lively Nikos Monikos Street was particularly cramped.
But it’s all worth it for when you get a small gap in the streets between villas and get a glimpse of the sparkling Aegean Sea.
If you want peace and quiet, and stunning views, head up to the Venetsanos Winery.
Not only does it offer wine tastings, there are unbeatable views across the Santorini caldera.
Asked whether Scarratt or Hunter, who have a combined total of 260 international caps, have the capability to take over as head coach for the next World Cup in 2033, Mitchell said: “Most definitely. I will probably be an old man by then, in my 70s I think.”
He added: “They have been challenged for a long time in their careers and they are extremely curious.
“You don’t play over 100 Test matches or become the most-capped English women’s player in history if you don’t have a strong work rate.
“You have two wonderful people who are authentic, easy to work with and fun to work with.”
A challenge for Scarratt, which Hunter has already had to navigate, is coaching her former team-mates.
Scrum-half Natasha Hunt appears regularly on Scarratt’s podcast, ‘The Good, the Scaz and the Rugby’, and the pair were room-mates in camp.
Pre-recorded shows will still go out but Scarratt will be fully focused on coaching during the Six Nations.
“She [Hunt] tried [to still room with me], she tried pretty hard,” she joked.
“Mo [Hunt] is rooming with Marlie Packer. So for anyone who was concerned, she is safe and well looked after.
“There are certain things that I cannot talk to Mo about any more because there is an element where it is not appropriate for players to know certain things.
“Obviously they know who I am. I know who they are. There is no point trying to pretend like we [former team-mates] are not friends or that we can’t share a joke with one another. That would almost be weirder.”
Only three female head coaches were in charge at the last World Cup (France, Australia and Japan).
Scarratt said it is too early to consider one day taking on that role but she remains passionate about increasing opportunities for female coaches.
“Fundamentally, we need to do a better job – whether that is upskilling, making it more accessible or showing that it is visible – for more people to be in the game and to then move into those roles,” she added.
“There is still probably a shortage of people available to do that, aside from ex-players. It is very cool to see women in those roles.”
ORLANDO, Fla. — Florida Democrats, beaten down by years of Republican domination in what was once the consummate battleground state, claimed new optimism Wednesday after a special election victory in President Trump’s home district.
Emily Gregory will represent the district that includes Mar-a-Lago, the president’s resort in Palm Beach, as a state representative.
Democrats are also hopeful that Brian Nathan will win a state senate seat in the Tampa area; the Associated Press has not yet called that race but he currently has a narrow lead that is within the state’s automatic recount range.
Gregory’s victory is the latest flip of a Republican-held seat since Trump’s second presidency began, giving Democrats fresh confidence in a midterm election year with control of Congress and many statehouses — including Florida’s — up for grabs in November.
“The pendulum swings in both directions,” Florida Democratic chairwoman Nikki Fried told reporters. “Last night it swung hard in the state of Florida.”
She added, “If we can win in Donald Trump’s backyard, we can win anywhere.”
For Gregory, a 40-year-old political newcomer who owns a fitness company, it has been a stunning introduction to the national spotlight.
“I believed in myself the whole time,” Gregory said, describing her political “naiveté” about the district and its Republican leanings as an asset.
She told the AP she did not make her contest about the president specifically, but focused heavily on constituents’ concerns involving the economy and everyday costs — from fast-rising insurance in the hurricane-prone district to groceries and gas.
She described herself as a lifelong “proud Florida Democrat” but said she did not run to be a face of the party or lead the opposition movement to Trump. She said she will go to Tallahassee focused on proposals to limit insurance rate hikes, expand healthcare access and lift “huge, crushing burdens on the average Florida family.”
“I just see myself as very embedded in my community, very representative of District 87,” she said. “And I’m so humbled and proud to be their representative.”
Trump endorsed Gregory’s opponent, Jon Maples, and cast a mail ballot in the contest. The president reiterated his support for Maples on the eve of the election with a social media post saying the Republican candidate was backed “by so many of my Palm Beach County friends.”
As of midday on Wednesday, Trump had not mentioned the outcome of the race.
Fried praised Gregory and Nathan, a 45-year-old veteran and union worker, as quality candidates who could capitalize on the broader political environment.
“The type of person and connection on the issues matters,” Fried said.
Gregory flipped a seat that her Republican predecessor had won by 19 percentage points. Fried said Trump carried the district by 11 points in 2024.
Republicans still dominate the Florida Legislature, and they have been considered heavy favorites to hold the governor’s office in November, four years after Gov. Ron DeSantis won a blowout reelection campaign.
But Fried insisted the trends suggest a competitive landscape. She noted that Tuesday’s victories followed two congressional special elections in 2025 when Florida Democrats lost but dramatically narrowed the usual margins in heavily Republican districts.
“You’ve seen tremendous overspending by Republicans,” Fried said of the current cycle. “It’s not working.”
A spokesman for Republican U.S. Rep. Byron Donalds, whom Trump has endorsed for Florida governor, took at least some notice of the latest results.
“We constantly assess how we execute our strategy — that’s just good campaigns,” said Ryan Smith, Donalds’ chief campaign strategist. “What won’t change is our mission: President Trump endorsed Byron Donalds to deliver real results and defend the Florida Dream, and that’s what voters can expect to see from us.”
Gregory, meanwhile, said she’s ready to get to work for her constituents — even the most famous one who did not vote for her.
“I should have a constituent service office available soon, and I would love to have a conversation,” she said when asked what her message to the president would be. “He’s welcome to call me, as I am his new state representative.”
