US streamer MrBeast weds stunning fiancée as he ties the knot on Richard Branson’s Necker Island in week-long bash
AMERICAN streamer MrBeast has married his stunning fiancée in a week-long bash on Richard Branson’s private island retreat.
Top YouTube creator MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has tied the knot with Thea Booysen.
After dating for four years, Jimmy and Thea got said ‘I do’ on Richard Branson‘s ultra-luxury Necker Island resort.
“I found MrsBeast. And it was the best day of my life,” he announced on Instagram, alongside a sweet snap of them on their wedding day.
Fans rushed to the comments to congratulate the newlyweds, with one person writing: “All the best for your newly married life and congratulations both of you.”
Another then wrote: “Really happy for you guys, may god keep you together forever.”
The couple’s wedding was attended by 70 loved ones, as per reports.
Their lavish wedding kicked off on July 14, with the festivities going on for a week at the stunning 74-acre private island in the Caribbean.
The couple first met when MrBeast was visiting South Africa, Thea’s home country.
Both Jimmy and Thea are gamers and content creators, though she was quite shocked by how down-to-earth he was.
Speaking to People, Thea said: “When I met him, I was quite surprised how down-to-earth he was, and also how intelligent he was.
“I thought YouTubers were just sort of a persona, but when I met him, I was quite surprised to see that he’s actually a nice guy. He wasn’t sitting there with an ego.”
MrBeast’s YouTube channel has over 500m followers, and his Instagram page is nearing 90m followers.
The 28-year-old content creator was born in Wichita, Kansas, but is now based in North Carolina.
He first joined YouTube in 2012 when he was just 13.
He began by uploading videos of video game playthroughs and net worth estimates of fellow YouTubers.
MrBeast has now scaled his massive YouTube stunts into a global, multiproduct production studio.
Under Beast Industries, he oversees a media empire, food lines (Feastables and Lunchly), analytical tool Viewstats, and licensing deals.
