A few of Friday’s editorials reflect the anger about the government’s early release scheme for prisoners in England and Wales. The Daily Express, external calls on the prime minister to halt what it calls a “preposterous plan”, which it says will reward sex offenders and the killers of police officers. The Sun calls Andy Burnham’s failure to exempt two of PC Andrew Harper’s killers from the scheme a “terrible decision”, external.

The Daily Mail and the Daily Telegraph lead on Conservative proposals to scrap social housing for many foreign nationals. The Mail calls it a “bold move”, external. According to the Telegraph, the Tories believe the change will stop Britain from being treated as a “cash machine for the world”, external. But it also highlights concerns from Labour about the effect on long-term UK residents, including “NHS staff”.

The Guardian, external says the government’s review of youth unemployment will recommend that primary schools in England should identify children at risk of leaving education at 16 without a job. Alan Milburn, who is leading the review, tells the paper that “the warning signs are there from a very, early age”.

The Financial Times calls the sale of EasyJet, external to an American private equity firm the “latest foreign swoop”. The paper says the £5.7bn-takeover paves the way for “another London listed company to be taken private”, with the airline joining an “exodus from UK listings”.

“Number 10 aides show blokey Burnham the red card”, declares the Times. It says Downing Street social media experts have told the prime minister to tone down his “blokeish”, external videos – by limiting references to “football and the pub”.

Some of the papers poke fun at the suggestion drinkers could be discouraged from standing in pubs in London’s West End. The Daily Mirror, external asks “wouldn’t this effort be better spent making it a crime to leave when it’s your round?” The Daily Star , externaldeclares it “madness”, and pictures the band of the same name standing in a Soho pub.

Heidi was accompanied by her husband, who wore what appeared to be a polka-dot pajama top and sunglasses before taking off his shirt.

Heidi has turned heads at the Cannes Film Festival this year with her stunning looks.

At the Fjord movie premiere, Heidi strolled down the red carpet in a sheer Monique Lhuillier gold gown.

She also attended the La Vénus Electrique premiere in a peach number.

Heidi was much, much more covered up when she attended the Met Gala earlier this month.

The costume-loving star was completely unrecognizable as she transformed into a living statue at the A-list fashion event.

Heidi appears to be on a break from work ahead of her return to Project Runway in July.

She also recently adopted a new rescue pup, Fritz.

“Little baby Fritz,” she said recently announced. “I know it might sound strange, but he knows he got adopted. He is such a good boy. I am so happy I can take care of him now.”
