His proud mum and dad were watching from the side of the stage, with siblings Romeo, 23, and Harper, 15, standing amid the crowd at Reading to watch him play.
Towards the end of the set, Cruz took a moment to dedicate his track Mr Nobody to the youngest member of the Beckham family.

“This show is our second to last show on this tour and we’ve had an incredible time,” he told the crowd at The Canopy stage.
“It’s been amazing seeing everybody and just want to thank you for all the love and all the support. This next song, I’d like to dedicate to my little sister who’s just dancing right there.”

Harper later joined Cruz’s girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, to make a surprise appearance on stage and throw t-shirts into the crowd.
After the performance, Cruz shared clips from the set where thousands of revellers were seen cheering the band on.
He added to the clip on Instagram: “READING oh my god. I have no words. Leeds, let’s do it again today. Thank you thank you thank you”
Speaking in the new issue of Dork magazine, Cruz acknowledged why people might be sceptical about his music, but insisted he’s prepared to put in the hard graft to establish his place as a performer.
“It’s better to be underestimated than overestimated,” he told the mag.

“I’m glad that people are liking the songs. I’m glad that people are giving me the opportunity. To be honest, I was surprised they even gave me the opportunity in the first place.
“I understand that they would think that everything’s gonna be a bit s**t and a bit too polished.
“But you know, I love music, and I really love playing live, and I’m just excited to be able to do it.”
“My experiences in life have been very different to a lot of people’s experiences, but I still feel like I’ve got something to say,” he added.
BROOKLYN Beckham’s wife Nicola Peltz has revealed her latest tattoo on her leg.
The star could be seen sporting a new inking on her ankle which featured the name “Elijah” emblazoned on her foot.

During a break to get some ice cream, Nicola was snapped by photographers in which her brand new inking was on full display.

Nicola has inked the name Elijah onto her foot – which means “The Lord is my God”.
The Hebrew name is featured in the Book of Kings which describes Elijah as a “bold prophet who famously defended his faith”.

Elijah is also the name of one of Sir Elton’s kids – with the legendary singer having invited Brooklyn and Nicola to join him on board.
The bold new inking comes following Brooklyn’s decision to cover up many of his tats.
Brooklyn had previously sported tributes to his dad David with the word ‘dad’ tattooed as well as the message: “Love you Bust.”
Snaps from earlier this year however show that he had these inkings covered up.
Nicola showed off her ankle on her outing which came as Brooklyn’s estranged parents David and Victoria were spotted just mere minutes away.
Photographers in France captured the estranged family just minutes apart visiting locations that were just five minutes in walking distance from one another.
David and Victoria were spotted walking past an eatery known as The Pirates Candies.
They then made their way into the nearby Cherry Restaurant for something to eat.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn was spotted in-store at a Jacquemus shop and later picked up an ice cream at Barbarac.
The distance between Brooklyn’s whereabouts and that of his parents is a simple five-minute walk.
They were just moments away from one another in what could have been a VERY awkward and unexpected run-in amid the vicious ongoing family feud.

The 14-year-old arrived “unannounced” and “left seconds later without seeing him”, according to claims inPage Six.
A spokesperson for Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz hit out at his famous parents, claiming they organised the whole thing – an allegation dismissed by family source as “clearly nonsense”.
In new photos, David and Victoria, 52, were seen out for dinner at Nobu in Malibu amid the ongoing feud with Brooklyn.
The family appeared tense as they headed into the swanky eatery.
The fashion designer wore a khaki midi dress and black heels with a pair of oversized glasses, while David opted for a white T-shirt and black jeans.

Victoria and David’s son Romeo, 23, was also present for the dinner, along with his girlfriend Kim Turnbull, 25.
Romeo has stood by his parents throughout the family fallout his brother.
And last night was no different as he attended the meal out, just a day after sister Harper attempted to heal the rift by visiting Brooklyn’s LA home.
Harper was reportedly hand-delivering a letter as she arrived at Brooklyn’s home.
A rep for Brooklyn and Nicola said: “That photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras.”
But source for the Beckhams hit back today, saying: “This is clearly nonsense and just another untrue and unfair accusation.”
Shortly after news of Harper’s very brief visit, Brooklyn took to social media to reveal that he wasn’t in Los Angeles.
In his jaw-dropping message earlier this year, he made 12 key accusations towards his loved ones including allegations of “bribery” and family members telling Nicola “she’s not family”.
During his bombshell post, Brooklyn claimed: “I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared.
“I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief.”
He added: “My parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.
“The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.”
In six blistering posts on his Instagram stories he claimed dad David and mum Victoria have been trying to “endlessly ruin my relationship” with Nicola.
He said: “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
