The sale has kicked off featuring Zed’s Gummy Corn sweets for £0.75, described as “sweet, creamy and zesty”.

Other sweets encouraging shoppers to get into the spooky spirit for under £1 include crowd pleasers Haribo Bone Shakers and Sour Skeletons, both priced at £0.99.

Shoppers can also get their hands on a bucket of vanilla flavoured Hallow-scream candy floss for £0.99 in three colours – green, orange and purple.

LIDL has released a slew of exciting new items in its famous middle aisle. 

The products include everything from household essentials to gardening gadgets and are available at stores across Britain.

Two separate sales are underway at the brand’s stores, with both kicking off on August 24. 

The deals include the Clean-up Prices-Down deal and the Parkside sale. 

The Clean-Up Prices-Down has seen a huge range of products go on sale for staggering low prices.

On the more expensive end of the spectrum, Tower Aquajet Plus Carpet Washer retails for just £69.99, while a Nimble Anti-Tangle Vac is selling for just £59.99.

However, some products are selling for under £10.

The supermarket is selling a vacuum cleaner which is £100 cheaper than the exact same one available on Bosch. 

The Bosch Readyy’y Cordless Vacuum Cleaner costs just £99.99 on Lidl’s website. 

Meanwhile, the hoover costs £199.99 on the Bosch website.

The vacuum can be used upright or handheld, making it perfect for cleaning floors and kitchen surfaces.

And one mum has shared how she created a personalised Minecraft cake for her son’s birthday without paying a professional.

Taking to TikTok, Cara, a mum-of-five, made her own delicious cake for her son’s birthday using M&S and Amazon buys.

In the clip, she said: “Come DIY my son’s Minecraft birthday cake using two cakes from M&S.

“I feel absolutely awful but I left it way too last minute to order Noah a birthday cake, then I couldn’t get one booked in anywhere so thought I’d go to M&S and do it myself.”

She said her son was a big chocolate lover so grabbed the M&S chocolate Mini Bite Cake for £20 and the Cookies and Cream cake.

She used the cookie flavour cake as the bottom tier and removed the chocolate decorations and moved them to the chocolate cake that would suit on top.

To make sure the two cakes were secure, she stuck a few cocktail sticks into the bottom one before placing the other on top.

Next, the savvy mum had some Amazon bits to complete the cake and turn it into a Minecraft bonanza that Noah would love.

She was able to find a Minecraft logo and happy birthday sign made out of edible rice paper, so cut them out and placed them on top of the cake.

Cara also found some Minecraft figurines made of icing and stuck those on top as well.

“These are amazing,” she said, “And I just popped them all over the cake.

“Noah is Minecraft obsessed and Steve is his absolute favourite character, so I know he’s gonna absolutely love this.

The final cake was perfect for her son and the rest of her family to enjoy while celebrating his birthday.

Cara added: “I mean it’s not the best cake in the world but I know he’s gonna absolutely love it and it was literally on a budget.”

The clip of her DIY cake was shared on her TikTok account @cara_mamato5 and soon went viral with over 170k views and 2,800 likes.

The travel fan explained how she planned to save on her flight fees by not paying for extra luggage

A travel lover who told passengers not to pay for luggage on flights has shared the £10 hack she recommends to cut costs. Posting on Instagram, Ashleigh Money Saver explained how an under-seat bag from Home Bargains could help Ryanair passengers save on fees.

She recommended the retailer’s £9.99 Salisburys Under Seat Bag, which is available in pink or black. According to the product description, the bag measures approximately 40x20x25cm. As such, passengers could use it as their free small bag when flying with Ryanair, preventing the need to purchase cabin or checked baggage.

The creator used her Home Bargains bag to pack for a four-night city break. Her caption said: “Don’t pay extra for luggage! I got this under-seat cabin bag from @homebargains for just £9.99 and managed to fit SO much in for my 4-night city break! Perfect size for Ryanair flights where every penny counts!”
