ABBEY Clancy and Peter Crouch have shown off the renovations at their new house as they revealed the project’s strain on their marriage.

The couple, who co-present The Therapy Crouch podcast, regularly delve into the ups and downs of married life.

The pair sold their Surrey home and temporarily moved to their house in Portugal while looking for their new home in the UK.

However they admitted during this week’s episode of their podcast, that the undertaking has caused tension in their marriage.

The makeover has been hit by frustrating delays as their builder waits for materials — and Abbey revealed Peter accused her of throwing a ‘hissy fit’ over the delays.

Abbey said: “You just got a bit p****d off at me then when you thought I was throwing a hissy fit for it not being done.

Peter replied: “No, I wasn’t really, babe. I could see you were upset.”

“No, no, you left me. You walked out,” argued Abbey.

Peter said: “No, because you I could see you know when things stressed you out sometimes you you it creeps into every how you speak to people I think and it was creeping in so I left, because you were angry about the situation you I could see you potentially taking out on me.”

Abbey also said she was “brokenhearted” that the family won’t be in their new home for Christmas due to the setbacks but that mice had already moved in.

She exclaimed: “I don’t want a mouse in my house and also they’re in there and not me! I have house envy of these mice.”

However, the couple are delighted with their new home and explained it just “feels like home, even though it’s still a building site.”

Peter explained: “I’m blown away every time I go there, I just think Oh My God it will be beautiful and we’re very blessed.”

Abbey has posted a sneak preview of the renovations being done on her Instagram.

It includes a luxurious master bedroom which is neutrally toned and features huge sash windows.

The ensuite has a fireplace and a marble floor installed and looks out onto a huge landscaped garden at the back of the house.

The renovation project will feature heavily in their new documentary called The Crouches which is set to feature on Prime Video.

The couple will also be seen navigating birthdays, weddings and their kids beginning to fly the nest.

The couple have said it will be a “warts and all” look at their lives and will contain moments they may “regret letting the cameras see.”

ABBEY Clancy is sitting pretty on a modelling empire worth nearly £2million.

Accounts show her image rights firm Abigail Marie Clancy Limited enjoyed a bumper year, taking net assets from £1.43million to £1.89million.

On top of that, the 40-year-old’s cash reserves in the 12 months up to January hit £1.1million.

Abbey, who has four children with ex-England striker hubby Peter Crouch, fronted Agent Provocateur’s 2025 Valentine’s campaign.

She is an ambassador for Tesco’s F&F clothing range, having launched five collections.

And earlier deals include ones with Ultimo, beauty and lifestyle firm Avon, fashion and homewear chain Matalan, fashion brand Lipsy and Argos — with whom she has her own jewellery line.

Her Ultimo lingerie contract, signed in 2013, was reported at the time to be worth £250,000.

Abbey, who won Strictly Come Dancing that same year, also co-hosts hit podcast The Therapy Crouch with 45-year-old Peter.

Its publisher says the show regularly ranks in Apple’s top ten UK podcasts, and the pair have also written a book off the back of it.

Launching The Therapy Crouch in 2023, Abbey joked it was “high time I got in on the podcast action”.

Abbey also scored big by fronting Juicy Couture’s Wag-themed campaign for this summer’s World Cup — though earnings from the campaign will not be counted until next year’s accounts.

It is the fourth year in a row the model has hit a new business high.

But despite her success, Abbey is still just short of out-earning lanky former Liverpool player Peter.

His image rights firm Baseforce had net assets of £2.26million in its latest accounts after campaigns for Victorian Plumbing, Ariel laundry pods and bookmakers Paddy Power.

The couple, who married in 2011, are both directors of property firm Coolabbey and Marvellous Media.

It holds property valued at £1.2million but owes significant sums to the couple’s other companies.

Speaking to Hello! Magazine in March, Abbey said of her down-to-earth image: “I’m only used to being myself.”
