Adam Peaty’s most hurtful move yet at wedding to Holly Ramsay

Adam Peaty previously had a close relationship with his parents, but in the lead up to his nuptials, things have seemingly fallen apart in the family. Below, we take a look at when and why the relationship turned

DECEMBER 2024 – ENGAGEMENT PARTY

Just a few months after Adam popped the question to Holly, the couple threw a lavish engagement party to celebrate the news. The party was filmed for Holly’s TV chef dad Gordon’s upcoming TV show, something which caused upset with the Peaty family.

“His mum was unhappy some of the family weren’t there and confronted Gordon at the event,” a source told The Sun, revealing things went “downhill” after the bash.

They said: “Guests were made to sign non-disclosure agreements and hand in phones as the party was filmed.”

NOVEMBER 2025 – ADAM’S STAG DO

Almost a year after things first soured, the feud started to make headlines when Adam’s brother, James was arrested during his stag do.

Adam’s brother James was arrested over allegations he had sent threats to the Olympian during the trip.

While he was later bailed, a source said at the time that Adam felt his mum was “enabling his brother’s actions rather than pushing him to deal with his demons.”

NOVEMBER 2025 – HOLLY’S HEN DO

Holly celebrated becoming a bride with a hen do at celeb hotspot Soho Farmhouse.

Her mum, Tana, a number of friends and Victoria Beckham were amongst the guestlist, but Adam’s mum wasn’t invited.

At the time, Adam’s aunt, Louise Williams, accused Holly of being “hurtful” towards Caroline, who was at home looking after Adam’s son – who he has from a previous relationship.

She wrote: “@hollyramsayy I’m so glad that you had a great hen do. As a bride, you deserve that. However, as a person you were divisive and hurtful towards a woman, who I have loved and continue to love deeply.

“A woman who opened her home and heart to you. You decided, for whatever reason, not to invite her, your prospective mother-in-law to your hen night yet Adam invited his father-in-law, your dad, to his stag night.”

She continued: “You invited your mum (quite rightly) and even your mum’s assistant, your sisters, your friends, my niece, but not my sister, your future mother-in-law.”

DECEMBER 2025 – UNINVITED

Following the hen and stag do drama, it was revealed that Adam had uninvited his mum, Caroline, from the wedding.

The swimmer is said to have given his dad, Mark, an invitation, but told him he would need to remain at the back of the church throughout the ceremony – something Mark declined.

Just four days before the big day, more family were uninvited when Adam’s aunt Janet, 73, and uncle Eddie received a message from the couple to say they were no longer welcome.

A source said: “They got an automated message basically saying they were off the guest list and to respect Adam and Holly’s decision.

“It was so impersonal, and just four days before the big day.”

The brutal text came despite the fact the couple had already shelled out hundreds of pounds on accommodation, outfits and gifts.

DECEMBER 2025 – SPEECH SNUB

During the big day, Holly’s dad Gordon made a speech where he seemingly made a dig at Adam’s parents.

Gushing over his wife, Gordon said to Adam during his speech: “Look at Tana and that’s what you have to look forward to.”

In a dig at Adam’s absent parents, he added to Holly: “Shame you don’t have the same.”

DECEMBER 2025 – NAME CHANGE

Following their nuptials, Adam has added Ramsay as a double-barreled surname with his own.

The move seemingly shows his close bond with his wife’s family, another nail in the coffin to his own clan.

Gordon had raised eyebrows as he appeared to make a thinly-veiled dig at Adam’s ongoing family feud when he delivered a wedding speech during the nighttime celebrations.

But the star has insisted his speech was “perfect” despite courting controversy.

When asked by Cat Deeley about preparing his speech, Gordon said: “Being a dad of three daughters, you dream of that moment.

“I was a hot mess but the speech was perfect, it went well.

RAMSAY’S ROLE

Holly Ramsay reveals dad Gordon’s wedding role – and he ‘didn’t stop crying’

“You’ve got to be warm and emotional but it was a tough gig.”

Elsewhere, Tilly had her say on the wedding and also called it “perfect” despite Adam’s family largely not attending.

Only his sister Bethany was present with his heartbroken mum Caroline banned from the Abbey amid a huge fallout with Adam and being left hurt after Holly refused to invite her to her hen-do with her A-list pals, including Victoria Beckham.

Speaking on the daytime show, Tilly added: “It was so emotional but so incredible to see her and Adam so happy. It was a big day for all of us.”

She also admitted she checked Gordon’s speech on Christmas Eve and confessed “no tweaks were needed” before confirming: “It made everybody cry.”

Gordon further revealed his “shock” at Holly’s decision to wear Tana’s wedding dress for a section of the reception saying: “It was a shock as she had it on for the majority of the night but I don’t know why she needed to change three times!”

The chef was alluding to her multiple dress changes for the big day – with the star wearing three gowns in total.

In Gordon’s speech he was understood to be heard saying his wife Tana “will be a good mum to them both,” amid the fallout.

Ramsay, 59, gushed at how beautiful Holly looked and told Adam he was a “lucky man”, adding: “Look at Tana and that’s what you have to look forward to.”

And in a sly dig at Adam’s absent parents he told Holly, 25: “Shame you don’t have the same.”

Adam’s feud with mum Caroline, 60, exploded last month after she was not invited to Holly’s hen do.

Last night a Peaty family source hit back at Gordon’s speech saying: “It just goes to show that this was the Ramsays’ plan all along.”

Adam hailed the 200 guests’ support in a “difficult time”. Sister Beth, 32, was his only family at the service, maid of honour with Holly’s sisters Megan, 27, and Tilly, 24.

Although they tied the knot shrouded in controversy as a result of the family feud tearing the Peaty clan apart, the couple will be hoping to forget all their troubles on their honeymoon.

Holly Ramsay reveals honeymoon destination with Adam Peaty – and who is paying

In an interview with British Vogue, Holly revealed they will be sunning themselves in Mauritius.

And they haven’t had to pay a single penny.

Instead, her dad Gordon and mum Tana have agreed to fork out for the trip as a wedding present.

Speaking to Vogue, Holly said: “We’re going to Mauritius to just lie by the sea – that was our wedding present from my parents.

“I had to tell Adam we weren’t basing our honeymoon around a 25-metre pool…”

The pair are believed to have headed to the sun-soaked island just days ago and likely welcomed in 2026 there together after being snapped heading to the airport in the UK just days ago.

The lead up to the wedding was full of drama after Adam, 31, disinvited his parents – Caroline and Mark – after his feud with his mum exploded last month when she was not invited to Holly’s hen do.

The only notable member of his family present was his sister, Bethany.

All of the Ramsay clan turned up for the event with Holly and Adam ensuring that her family took pride of place on the big day.

Earlier this week, it emerged Adam’s aunt Louise texted him moments before he walked into Bath Abbey on Saturday — but he never read it because he has blocked family messages.

Adam went on to acknowledge the pain the bust up has caused during his speech at the couple’s wedding reception at Kin House in Kington Langley, Wilts.

He told how his swim coach Mel Marshall has been “everything”, “grounding and inspiring” him, before adding that she was “like a mum”.

Meanwhile Gordon, 59, delivered a fiery speech of his own, saying his wife Tana “will be a good mum to them both”.

Content creator Holly spoke about a photo showing her and Adam at the ceremony and referenced the speech, saying: “Listening to dad’s speech, looking around the room and feeling overwhelmed with the love and the happiness on our guests’ faces.”

Adam recently appeared to show no signs of offering up an olive branch after he thanked Jesus for everything that had happened in the year – despite the fractious feud.

The sport star appeared grateful for how things had panned out this year – even if it meant falling out with his family.

He shared a quote, which read: “It’s the last day of 2025. Thank you Jesus for everything this year.”

And aside from walking her down the aisle, Holly, 26, says her dad naturally took control of the day’s food too.

“Dad has been extremely involved in the food,” she told British Vogue ahead of the big day, explaining that he and the team at London’s Savoy Grill designed the menu.

The menu included a dish Gordon, 59, is very famous for, a traditional beef Wellington matched with wine pairings.

But later in the day, Holly took more creative control with late-night party dishes of spicy vodka pasta and fries.

Doting dad Gordon may appear tough on the small screen, but Holly says he “couldn’t stop crying” in the lead-up to her big day.

“Dad cries every time I talk about the wedding,” she said.

Holly, who is the first of Gordon’s six children to get married, continued: “The other day I was asking him which car he and I would take to the church, and he welled up immediately.”

Alongside emotional support, Gordon and his wife Tana have also forked out for the couple’s luxurious honeymoon.

Spending their first weeks as newlyweds in sunny Mauritius, Holly explained that it was a “wedding gift” from her famous parents.

While things have all been tight-knit in the Ramsay corner, the lead up to the wedding was full of drama after Adam uninvited his parents – Caroline and Mark.

It came after his feud with his mum is thought to have exploded last year when she was not invited to Holly’s hen do.

While it is not known why she wasn’t on the Soho Farmhouse hen do guest list, Holly’s mum Tana and close friend Victoria Beckham were amongst the attendees.

The snub came after Adam’s Budapest stag do, following which Adam’s brother James was arrested over allegations he had sent threats to the Olympian during the trip.

While he was later bailed, a source said at the time that Adam felt his mum was “enabling his brother’s actions rather than pushing him to deal with his demons.”

Holly Ramsay & Adam Peaty spend HUGE sum on gifts for each of their 200 wedding guests

WEDDING row couple Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay gifted 200 guests a £190-a-pop engraved bottle of tequila and commemorative t-shirt.

The generous duo spent around £40,000 on the presents to thank invitees for their “love and support”.

They felt indebted to those who attended their nuptials for sustaining them amid the bitter feud which led to most of the Olympian’s family being banned.

The Sun can also reveal the touching service details at Bath Abbey, where they tied the knot on December 27.

Hymns included Come Down O Love Divine and one of the readings was Psalm 127, which tells of the blessings of children – a hint that the couple are keen to start their own family.

‘Incredibly generous’

A source told The Sun: “Holly and Adam were incredibly generous to their guests, lavishing them all with a bottle of tequila embossed their own initials.

“And guests were also presented with a cute t-shirt, showing the couple driving in a car and waving in glee as they start their life journey together.

“The t-shirt had the date of the wedding on it and was a wonderful memento for everyone.

“The bride and groom really pushed the boat out. No matter the turbulence behind the scenes they wanted the wedding to be perfect. And it was.”

The Sun told how proud father of the bride Gordon Ramsay told guests he’d spent £50,000 on flowers for their big day.

And we revealed how the TV chef waded into the family feud in a fiery speech – insisting his wife would now be Mum to both newlyweds.

Gordon stunned guests when he addressed the furore head on, and slated his son-in-law’s parents.

He said his missus Tana is an “amazing Mum” – adding he can’t say the same about Adam’s parents.

But he said of the happy couple: “Tana will be a good mum to them both.”

In an emotional speech to 200 guests at the celebrity couple’s wedding feast, Gordon had another sly dig at Adam’s estranged folks.

Gordon gushed how “beautiful” his daughter and wife Tana looked – pointing out to Adam he was a “lucky man”.

He addressed his son-in-law: “Look at Tana and that’s what you have to look forward to.”

Then the chef turned to bride Holly and added: “Shame you don’t have the same.”

He lovingly mocked his daughter’s expensive tastes – calling her easily the “most expensive” of his four kids.

Gord had the crowd in hysterics as he revealed how at a young age Holly worked out how to attach his credit card to her Apple pay.

Holly has always wanted to do Vogue, so this is a coup for her.

And the guests roared as he joked how his three other children will have to get married in a registry office due to the extortionate cost of the wedding flowers alone.

Gordon teased his daughter about their Bath Abbey wedding ceremony, laughing at how, “only Holly could pick the most beautiful church and choose to cover its stunning windows in white roses”.

The Sun revealed how stunning Holly – who wore a bridal cape over her wedding dress as she arrived and left the ceremony at Bath Abbey – will be showing the dress off in Vogue magazine, published on New Year’s Day.

A source added: “Holly has always wanted to do Vogue, so this is a coup for her.”

In his own speech at the glittering reception, thrilled groom Adam subtly acknowledged the pain caused by the bitter bust-up with his own family.

He poignantly turned to Mel Marshall, 43, his ex-swimming coach who has acted as his surrogate parent during his dazzling career.

Tearful Adam gushed how Mel has been “everything” to him – “grounding” him and “inspiring” him in recent years. And after an emotional pause the sportsman added she was, “like a Mum”.

Tellingly Adam thanked everyone for their “support”, adding how it has been a “difficult time”.

The bride had guests dabbing their eyes in emotion after wearing two outfits at their extravagant reception at plush Kin House in Kington Langley, Wilts.

One was her mother’s wedding gown when Tana tied the knot with Gordon in 1996.

A DJ announced the special tribute, sparking a spontaneous round of applause from thrilled onlookers.

Among the guests were David and Victoria Beckham – close pals of the Ramsays – and the A-lister couple danced the night away with all the other guests.

Mobile phones were banned throughout, with guests forced to put them in pouches.

Everyone invited to the nuptials was forced to wear a wristband, embossed with the bride and groom’s initials, to ensure security staff knew they were not interlopers.

I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through and despite it all she loves you still.

Adam’s aunt Louise

And a wedding gift list included a £1,450 green egg outdoor cooker.

The couple also invited guests to buy them a £995 mahogany table, £800 chair and footstool, and £450 log storage bin.

Adam, who turned 31 yesterday, and Holly, 25, banned his loved ones, including his mum Caroline, dad Mark and brothers James and Richard.

The family were left even more distraught amid claims Mark was told by the swimmer’s sister Beth before Christmas he could attend, but had to sit at the back of the church.

Beth was the only member of his family in attendance. She was a maid of honour alongside Holly’s sisters.

Adam had disinvited his great-aunt Janet and her husband Eddie just days before the wedding.

‘Her soul screams’

Adam’s aunt Louise, who was also not invited to the wedding, sent him a message moments before he walked into the abbey with his five-year-old son George, from a previous relationship.

She wrote: “I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through and despite it all she loves you still. Shame on you both. Shame.

“Remember on this, your happiest day, and on each anniversary of your happiest day, that you hurt your mum so deeply her soul screams.”

But a source close to the Ramsays revealed to The Sun that Adam has blocked all of his estranged family – so didn’t receive or read the message.

His family were further enraged when he publicly changed his social media profiles after the ceremony to add ‘Ramsay’ to his surname.

Adam’s mum had intended to watch the wedding from the street, despite being disinvited, but decided against it.

Their feud exploded after she was not invited to Holly’s hen do.

It then escalated when Adam later called cops after his brother James allegedly made threats via text while was on the groom’s stag do.

Adam Peaty seen for 1st time since wedding after name change snub to parents

One person wrote: “Happy Birthday to both Jack and Holly!”

Another social media user penned: “It’s crazy, wow one looks like dad and one looks like mum. Genetics.”

While a third added: “Happy Birthday @hollyramsaypeaty hope you’re day is as beautiful as you are.

“Your first one as Mrs Peaty, congratulations to the both of you xxx.”

Despite a beautiful ceremony for Adam and Holly, their big day was plagued with drama from his ongoing feud with his side of the family.

He disinvited several members of his family including his parents, brother, uncle and aunt.

His mum was uninvited after she was left out of Holly’s hen do celebrations.

She had intended to watch the lavish ceremony unfold from the street, but we exclusively revealed she had a last minute change of heart after her husband Mark convinced her it would be “too upsetting”.

The family told The Sun: “She was saying she’d be there for sure but she now accepts it would be too sad and she doesn’t want to spoil his big day.”

The Olympic swimmer’s brother James was previously arrested over allegations he sent threats to him during his stag do.

After being disinvited from the wedding, James posted an old photograph of him and their mother Caroline standing outside of the wedding venue.

However, he deleted it from his Instagram stories just 15 minutes later.

The photo, which was taken on another occasion and not on the day of the wedding, showed the mother-son duo all dressed up in a suit and dress outside the iconic building.

His father Mark was offered the chance to attend the wedding, but on the condition that he sat at the back of the church.

Unsurprisingly, he declined, meaning Adam’s sister Beth was the only family member to attend, where she was one of Holly’s three maid’s of honour.

Caroline, who has taken the snub particularly hard, took to Instagram today to repost words from another social media user that highlight how she is feeling.

Her Instagram story re-post read: “I won’t end this year pretending everything was fine.

“I lost a piece of myself this year that I will never get back, and I’m not forcing a smile like it didn’t change me.

“So no…I won’t be saying ‘2026 is going to be my year.’ I’ll be praying that I recover next year, that my heart never has to break like this again, that I never have to survive something like this again.”

Beth has now revealed the generous bridesmaid gift she received prior to the wedding.

She took to Instagram to share personalised items Holly had sent her, including a pot of Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, which retails for £79.

Just yesterday The Sun revealed that Adam uninvited his great aunt and uncle from his wedding – just four days before the ceremony.

The lead up to their nuptials was fraught with drama, after Adam, 31, uninvited his mum Caroline when a feud erupted over her failing to be invited to Holly’s hen do.

It was then revealed that Adam had said his dad Mark could attend the wedding – but he would have to sit at the back of the church.

Unsurprisingly, Mark chose not to attend, as did Adam’s brothers James and Richard.

Now, The Sun can reveal that his great aunt Janet, 73, and uncle Eddie were uninvited in a very brutal way just four days before the ceremony.

Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at Kin House in Kington Langley, Wiltshire.

It saw Holly’s dad Gordon deliver a fiery speech where he made a dig at Adam’s absent parents.

The 59-year-old chef said his wife Tana “will be a good mum to them both”.

Gordon gushed at how beautiful Holly looked and told Adam he was a “lucky man”, adding: “Look at Tana and that’s what you have to look forward to.”

And in a sly dig at Adam’s parents he told Holly, 25: “Shame you don’t have the same.”

His words left Caroline “outraged and hurt” with an insider telling the Daily Mail: “Caroline can’t believe Gordon brought their family troubles up his speech. It is outrageous and very hurtful.

“By him saying Tana will be a good mum to them both makes Caroline sound like a bad mum. It was a cruel dig at her.

“She has always done her best for all her children. She is a very good mum.”

However, the newlyweds brushed off any further drama as they were pictured leaving Gordon’s London home on Monday to jet off on honeymoon.

Their trip comes after Adam changed his name on social media to Adam Ramsay Peaty, a move that was quickly criticised by his ex-girlfriend.

Eiri Munroe – who shares five-year-old son George with Adam – told friends she thought it was “hypocritical”.

A friend of his artist ex – who he split from in 2021 – says she wanted George to take her surname plus Adam’s, but claims he refused.

Eiri’s pal told The Sun: “It feels a bit rich to Eiri that Adam has been quick to change his name but didn’t allow her the same right for their son.”

The Sun has reached out to reps for Adam and Holly for comment.

Adam, 31, dressed in a teal jumper which featured two lovebirds with his and Holly’s initials sewn into the back and the date of their wedding day.

He teamed it with khaki tracksuit bottoms and beige trainers.

Adam’s dad Mark was also seen out and about on Monday looking downcast, after being given a last minute invitation to Adam and Holly’s wedding – which he turned down.

Mark took the family dog for a walk 149 miles away in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, where Adam was born and raised.

Dan Walker slammed for ‘tone deaf’ post about Adam Peaty’s wedding

ADAM Peaty’s Strictly co-star Dan Walker came under fire over a “tone deaf” post about being invited to his wedding – after he cut family members from the big day.

The 31-year-old uninvited his mum and blocked texts from his family – as Gordon Ramsay took a swipe at the swimmer’s parents in his father-of-the-bride speech.

A number of well-known guests were seen attending the wedding of the Olympic athlete and TV chef Gordon’s daughter.

Newsreader Dan shared a photo of the order of service from Bath Abbey where Adam married Holly Ramsay on Saturday.

He captioned his post: “We had a lovely time celebrating with @adam_peaty & @hollyramsayy yesterday.

“Great wedding, top people, wonderful service, unforgettable reception, brilliant speeches and we got to sing some bangers in the church too.”

Adam Peaty wedding compared to ‘hospital appointment’ as guest complains

Dragon’s Den star Sara shared photos from her friendship with Adam over the years, and said: “Yesterday I had the privilege of being at this amazing man’s wedding – and it also gave me a moment to reflect on how lucky I’ve been to have him in my life over the past four years.

“From the first day we met on Strictly, we’ve been firm friends, and it was a real honour to sit in Bath Abbey and watch him get emotional as the love of his life walked down the aisle.

“It was such a special day. Simon and I had the best time, the service was beautiful – and I’m sure you’ll not be surprised to hear me say, it was hands down the best wedding food I’ve ever had.

“Wishing my wonderful friend and his gorgeous bride a lifetime of happiness together.”

However both celebrities came under fire from their followers.

One told Dan: “Pity his mum and dad didn’t enjoy it too. Insensitive post,” as another said: “Nice Christian thing to do sticking it to his mother for not getting an invite. Well done Saint Dan…”

Another said: “Couldn’t agree more. Tone deaf.”

Another fan typed beneath his post: “I think this post is upsetting on so many levels.”

While One more remarked: “Sorry Dan poor judgment given the devastating circumstances for the Peaty parents.”

This person asked the TV star: “Sorry Dan, but did you really have to post this?

“For those of Adams family who weren’t there, for whatever reason, it might come across as insensitive.”

Sara was also blasted by some of her followers.

One posted: “There is something very wrong with celebrities sharing their attendance- when the most important person (regardless of who was right/wrong) was not there.”

A second person suggested: “Now Sarah you know this would bring up not good comments. You know what you are doing.

One more said: “That brakes my heart that you get the privilege to put this. As a mother of a son it breaks my heart.”

Among the A-list guests at the nuptials were Ramsay family friends Sir David Beckham and wife Victoria, plus their sons Romeo and Cruz and daughter Harper.

The maids of honour wore dresses designed by Victoria in red, while Tana wore a similar style dress in green.

Security was tight, with guests wearing wristbands embossed with H&A.

But most of Adam’s family, including his mum Caroline, dad Mark and brothers James and Richard, stayed at home 150 miles away after he fell out with them.

Adam’s family feud exploded after his mum Caroline was not invited to Holly’s hen do.

It then escalated when Adam later called cops after his brother James allegedly made threats via text while Adam was on his stag do.

A family source told The Sun on Sunday last night: “Frankly, it’s disgusting that it went ahead without Adam reaching out to his mum and dad beforehand.”

The family were left even more distraught amid claims dad Mark was told by the swimmer’s sister Beth before Christmas he could attend, but had to sit at the back.

Our source said: “It was a difficult day for Caroline and Mark, so the family spent the evening together.

“Caroline got upset as soon as she saw the photographs from the wedding.

“For him to turn around and tell Beth that his dad could come and sit at the back of the church is awful.

“Mark was told he could sit behind plus-ones — who Adam has probably never even seen or spoken to.”

The star’s swimming coach Melanie Marshall stepped in to deliver a reception speech, in place of his brothers.

Adam Peaty ‘sent brutal text by aunt moments before marrying Holly Ramsay’

FACE OF GLOOM

Adam Peaty’s parents look devastated as they break cover after wedding snub

And it emerged Adam’s aunt Louise texted him moments before he walked into Bath Abbey on Saturday — but he never read it because he has blocked family messages.

The triple Olympic gold medallist, 31 yesterday, acknowledged the pain caused by the bust-up in his speech at the reception at Kin House in Kington Langley, Wilts.

He told how his swim coach Mel Marshall has been “everything”, “grounding and inspiring” him.

After an emotional pause he said she was, “like a mum”.

Adam also hailed the 200 guests’ support in a “difficult time”. Sister Beth, 32, was his only family at the service, maid of honour with Holly’s sisters Megan, 27, and Tilly, 24.

Adam’s mum, dad Mark, 65, and brothers James and Richard stayed at home in Staffordshire

The family source said: “This was the Ramsays’ plan all along. They wanted Adam’s family gone and they have succeeded.

“You’d think that as parents, Gordon and Tana would have a bit more compassion towards Caroline, Mark and the family.

“Caroline did everything and more to help Adam. She and Mark sacrificed a lot to get him where he is. Adam ought to be ashamed of himself for going ahead with the wedding without them after everything they did to support him.

“Beth has betrayed her mum to see what she can get out of being the only family member who gets on with Adam and Holly.

“This isn’t the Bethany we all know, she’s changed her appearance and personality to fit in with the Ramsays’ celebrity lifestyle.”

The source also revealed Adam had disinvited his great-aunt Janet and her husband Eddie days before the wedding — despite them booking accommodation and purchasing outfits. The source added: “It’s completely unacceptable.”

In her message, shortly before Adam entered the abbey with son George, five, his aunt Louise wrote: “I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through and despite it all she loves you still. Shame on you both.

“Remember on this, your happiest day, and on each anniversary of your happiest day, that you hurt your mum so deeply her soul screams.”

A family source confirmed Adam did not receive or read the message.

Holly wore two outfits at the reception — including Tana’s gown when she wed Gordon in 1996.

A DJ announced the tribute, sparking applause from guests including Ramsay pals David and Victoria Beckham

A source said: “David and Victoria were on the dance floor most of the evening. And they were almost the last to leave it. They happily mingled with everyone else.”

Adam’s best man was Ed Baxter, a former swimmer and business partner. Adam’s coach Mel sparked laughter by referring to her student as Golden Balls, while pointing out “the other” Golden Balls, Becks.

Mel told of her pride and joy at seeing Adam win the 100metres breaststroke gold at the 2016 Olympics in Rio, and Covid-hit Tokyo Games postponed to 2021.

All guests wore a wristband embossed with Adam and Holly’s initials to prevent wedding crashers.

A pal said last night: “Nothing interrupted what was a peaceful, joyous day with those closest to Holly and Adam.

“The ceremony was magical and the reception very emotional, there were a lot of tears.

“Gordon made an amazing speech that had everyone laughing and crying. None of the outside noise overshadowed what was an occasion filled with heartfelt joy and happiness for two people who are very much in love.”

Gordon walked his daughter down the aisle and Tana gave a reading during the hour-long service.

Holly arrived nearly 30 minutes late, wearing a bridal cape over her Christmas-themed dress.

A crowd of onlookers cheered the couple as they emerged. They were later whisked to the reception in a black Rolls-Royce. The maids of honour wore red dresses designed by Victoria, while Tana wore a similar style dress in green.

Other celebrities in attendance included Dragons’ Den star Sara Davies and TV presenter Dan Walker, who said on social media: “We had a lovely time celebrating with Adam and Holly.

“Great wedding, top people, wonderful service, unforgettable reception, brilliant speeches and we got to sing some bangers in the church too.”

A select few were invited to a breakfast gathering yesterday.

£50,000 FLOWERS JOKES IN SPEECH

Exclusive by Stephen Moyes

MEGABUCKS chef Gordon jokingly complained about the wedding’s £50,000 flowers in his speech.

And he poked gentle fun at Holly — calling her easily the most expensive of his six children.

Gordon revealed how young Holly worked out how to attach his credit card to her Apple Pay.

And he joked his other children will have to marry in a register office.

He said: “Only Holly could pick the most beautiful church and choose to cover its stunning windows in white roses.”

Holly will show off her wedding dress in Vogue magazine, published on New Year’s Day.

A source added: “Holly has always wanted to do Vogue so this is a coup.”

Her and Adam’s gift list included a £1,450 Big Green Egg outdoor cooker.

Other options were a £995 mahogany table, £800 chair and footstool, and £450 log storage bin.

“Wishing my wonderful friend and his gorgeous bride a lifetime of happiness together.”

Sara looked sensational as she strutted her way into the ceremony yesterday.

The business mogul wowed in a black and blue gown that featured lacy floral detailing.

One of the best dressed attendees at the event, Sara flashed a smile and waved to the crowds as she made her way inside the venue.

The big day was not without its controversy amid the ongoing family feud tearing the Peaty family apart.

Adam’s parents were absent from the big day after a feud erupted among the clan.

We revealed that Adam allegedly told dad Mark he could only attend if he sat at the back of Bath Abbey, where the lavish celebration took place.

But Mark declined, finding the offer insulting, and remained at home 150 miles away as Adam tied the knot.

The family was split last month after Caroline was not included at Holly’s hen do at the swanky Soho Farmhouse, Oxfordshire, and was subsequently uninvited from the wedding.

Holly’s mum Tana and close pal Victoria Beckham were both in attendance at the girly get together near to the Beckhams’ country home.

Caroline made her feelings clear earlier this month when she shared a cryptic post on Instagram that read: “This year, I met the most broken version of myself but also the strongest. 2026, get ready, because I’m coming back stronger than ever.”

The feud escalated when bride Holly called cops after Adam’s brother James allegedly made threats via text while Adam was on his stag do.

Adam was also branded “spiteful” this Christmas for failing to buy gifts for his parents or brothers.

Peaty’s dad ‘told he could attend wedding but would have to sit at back’

The family was split last month after Caroline was not included at Holly’s hen do at the swanky Soho Farmhouse, Oxfordshire, and was subsequently uninvited from the wedding.

Holly’s mum Tana and close pal Victoria Beckham were both in attendance at the girly get together near to the Beckhams’ country home.

Things escalated when Holly later called cops after Adam’s brother James allegedly made threats via text while Adam was on his stag do.

We reported last night how Adam had infuriated dad Mark with his church ultimatum.

It was in stark contrast to Adam’s sister Bethany, who was a maid of honour.

Meanwhile celeb guests like TV presenter Dan Walker, chef Marcus Wareing and the Beckhams arrived to much fanfare.

Adam reportedly received a stinging text from his estranged aunt Louise just moments before walking down the aisle, according to the Daily Mail.

She is said to have let him know her feelings with full force, telling him “shame on you both”.

Her text allegedly read: “I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through and despite it all she loves you still. Shame on you both. Shame.

“Remember on this, your happiest day, and on each anniversary of your happiest day, that you hurt your mum so deeply her soul screams.”

The sentiments were echoed by other family members, with Adam’s great aunt Janet, 73, telling the publication: “I just feel so sorry for Caroline.

“I can’t believe he’s done this to his mother who’s done so much for him from an early age. To be treated like this is not kind.”

EastEnders’ Max Branning’s huge wedding mystery in flash forward episode

EastEnders flashes forward to New Year’s Eve 2026 showing Max Branning getting married, but even the cast don’t know who the bride will be

New Year’s Eve in Walford is always more explosive than a firework display, but this year is set to bring a fresh set of mysteries to its celebrations, as EastEnders jumps a year into the future.

During the Christmas specials, viewers watched as Chrissie Watts (Tracy Ann-Oberman) revealed she’d been the one tormenting Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan). But now the countdown to New Year’s Eve is on, and it’s all about the Brannings.

In the upcoming episode, the show will flash forward a year in time to New Year’s Eve 2026. As Walford prepares to ring in 2027, Max Branning (Jake Wood) is getting married. But to whom? What does his daughter Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) think? And what has his year been like up until then?

Ahead of the New Year’s episode, Mirror hears from Jake and Jacqueline. “I think Max is probably at an all-time low on New Year’s Eve,” Jake says. It’s not hard to imagine – in the lead up to Christmas, Max discovered he had a secret daughter that Lauren had lied to him about. “And then we go into the flash forward and it’s in such stark contrast. So see a man who’s maybe at his lowest we’ve ever seen him and then we flash forward and things are maybe not quite as bad.”

He added that he was really excited about new love interests who will be introduced for his character and shared that even he didn’t know who his character would marry in 2027.

Fans have already started speculating about it, especially as a drunken Max slept with Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) over Christmas. Some wonder if Cindy, who didn’t realise it was Max, will be the bride – despite the fact that she blames Max for her son Stephen’s death.

Jake’s onscreen daughter Jacqueline Jossa also said she had “so many questions” and that none of the cast know who Max is set to marry. “I haven’t got a clue so we’ll find out next year probably with all of you lot.”

She revealed that though she got a full script for the New Year’s episode, it had so many gaps, she still didn’t know what would happen in 2026. “Obviously we’ll get the answers as we go which means every time I get a script now, I’m looking for the answer.” But this wasn’t easy: “There’s so many questions and no answers.”

Over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, viewers watched as Jasmine (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness) met up with Chrissie Watts (Tracy-Ann Oberman), revealing that the evil murderer was the true mastermind tormenting Zoe ( Michelle Ryan ). Why did the two team up? Jasmine felt abandoned by the mother who walked out on her and her brother when she was an infant, and Chrissie felt Zoe hadn’t paid for her part in Den Watts’ (Leslie Grantham) murder 20 years ago.

Since she returned, Zoe, who believed her daughter had died, has been looking for her son – something Jasmine has resented. But some fans think all Zoe will find is a grave. Writing on Reddit, one fan said, “I said it on another thread, but I think the boy twin is dead.

“I think he’ll have needed a transplant of some sort, and Jasmine wasn’t a match – but Zoe could have been. But because she abandoned the babies at the hospital and they had no record of her, no one was able to find her, and the twin died. Hence why Jasmine is angry as f***.”

Fans replied to the post, agreeing it was an “interesting theory”. If true, it could explain why Zoe’s private investigator never managed to find any further details about her son and his current whereabouts.

Jasmine hasn’t yet offered any new information about her brother or her life before arriving in Walford a few months ago. Nor has she revealed why she has been so obsessed with Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins).

Now, the New Year will focus on Max Branning and the flash forward episode.

Emmerdale star speaks out over Kerry and Eric’s ‘ridiculous’ secret wedding

Emmerdale’s Kerry Wyatt actress Laura Norton has revealed all about her character’s shock wedding to village legend Eric Pollard, amid a separate wedding being planned on the ITV soap

Emmerdale‘s Laura Norton as revealed all about the shock wedding twist on Wednesday.

In an unexpected turn of events, fans saw her character Kerry Wyatt tie the knot with none other than Eric Pollard. Just as Jacob Gallagher and Sarah Sudden prepared for their own secret wedding, they rumbled the truth.

In a major plot twist is was announced the pair had wed, leaving Jacob horrified. Speaking about the scenes, actress Laura has revealed all behind the decision for Eric and Kerry to marry.

With the wedding coming about as a means of keeping Jacob’s inheritance safe, amid Eric’s concerns about his finances, Laura addressed whether there was more to it. She shared: “Kerry however dysfunctional and chaotic she is, is a girl with a heart who makes true friendships. She is loyal and does genuinely care and about and love people and when she came into the village, Eric and Val had adopted Amy.

READ MORE: Soap spoilers for next week: Multiple exits ‘sealed’, wedding drama and flashforwardREAD MORE: EastEnders legend Pam St Clement admits struggle with emotional return

“And they did a really fantastic job and she was well cared for and Amy was very happy. They thought Kerry was such a mess and a car crash but they were kind and they took her in as well because they loved Amy. But now Amy’s gone. I feel like this is some sort of misplaced guilt a little bit. I think she genuinely does care about Eric.

“They’re both loveable rogues, they’ve both got a really similar default, but I feel like it’s a full circle moment where it is like you looked after my daughter and I know that my daughter would want me to do this for you.”

Laura hasn’t ruled out love for Kerry and recent flame Jai Sharma though, while she hinted that for now it wouldn’t go anywhere. Laura said: “Kerry and Eric are a mad combination but it works and they’re doing it for all the right reasons.

“But her and Jai have hated each other for years. She worked under him at the factory, and they were always bickering and they come from two completely different worlds and now she works up at the depot and it is the same sort of dynamic.

“But there was this moment when they both got to look at each other in a different way, it was a massive surprise to both of them and for the fans, I had quite a lot of messages on social media with people just saying, I don’t know why, but that really works. She brings out a nice side of Jai. A softer side.

“I think that’s why he’s attracted to her as he’s been very doom and gloom and everything she does is a joke and then when she realises he had stuff going on with his son, everything she did was like jokes, but she genuinely, tried to help and suggested things to him and I think it changed his attitude towards her.. she’s not so bad, but she’s also like really funny. I think as to what will happen in the future, watch this space as yeah.

“Who knows? But it did surprisingly work well.” Laura enjoyed the twist too. She shared: “That period of filming was the most fun I had filming in ages, because obviously last year we did all of the limo stuff and I had to say goodbye to a few of the girls in the show that I loved, it was really a bitter sweet.

“Obviously, it was an amazing piece of television, but this recent stuff was just great back to old school Kerry and now she is partnered with somebody who is so.. it’s like a duo that you shouldn’t put together, but for some reason it just works. They are in a situation that is so ridiculous, it’s all so incredibly funny. So, yeah, I’ve loved it for several different reasons.”

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays. * Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads .

She wrote alongside the snaps: “Three diamonds, three babies, three reasons my heart shines.

Christine & me will spend Xmas together for the kids, says Paddy McGuinness

TIME TO TALK

Christine McGuinness says she was ‘blown away’ by kids’ reaction to divorce

“Different shapes, same sparkle, all beautifully unique just like my children.

“A new chapter, a new ring, one for each of them  a love that never ends.

“It took three years to find the perfect piece but they were worth every moment.”

In a subtle reference to her divorce, Christine added: “Not a wedding ring.

She added: “But a forever ring for the little loves who fill my heart everyday.

“Thank you for creating this beautiful, unique, very special ring @luxury_watches_and_jewellery”

Paddy and Christine were together for 15 years, and she continues to live in the home they shared with the kids.

During their divorce proceedings, it was ruled that Paddy, 52, will be able to keep the £2.5million mansion they both call home.

But in an unexpected twist, it was ruled that Christine and their kids could continue living in the seven-bedroom Cheshire home, which has a gym and swimming pool.

Christine and their kids have autism, and she reportedly didn’t want to uproot their kids from the house they grew up in.

Paddy told The Sun he and Christine still spend Christmas together for the sake of their three children.

Asked if he and Christine spend Christmas Day together, Paddy, 52, replied: “Of course, because both of our families are our children’s relatives. Our children are always happy to see all of our family.

“Luckily for us it’s a nice vibe in our household so there’s never anything where the children feel anything negative whatsoever.

“I think most parents who have separated want what’s best for the children.”

BIG BEEF

I’m A Celeb’s Aitch’s biggest feuds from shading Harry Styles to ex slamming him

Harry has dated some of the most high-profile women on the planet including Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner, with last proper relationship being with director Olivia Wilde.

Meanwhile Zoe has been single since October 2024, when she and fellow actor Channing Tatum called off their engagement after three years.

Since hooking up with Harry, the pair have been inseparable – travelling to New York and Rome in recent months.

And in an unusual move for both the stars they have ended up being photographed a lot.

They haven’t shied away from the camera like they would usually do – and we can reveal why.

Our insider explained: “Harry is a very private man – it’s no secret he’s dated lots of people but it’s not always so public.

“If he wanted to, Harry knows exactly how to keep things underwraps.

“He’s been in this industry a long time and he knows how his fanbase reacts to things.

“He doesn’t take introducing the world to a new girlfriend lightly.

“He has thought long and hard about it but he’s prepared for the backlash because he thinks Zoe is the real deal.

“It’s never easy for someone to date Harry and they’ve definitely chatted about what it will be like – and Zoe is fully on board.

“It’s not just a fling and them happily being snapped really shows that.”
