Watch hilarious moment Mark Wright gets his pants pulled down live on air as pal Olly Murs pulls prank

MARK Wright was left red faced when pal Olly Murs pulled his shorts down while he was broadcasting live on the radio.

In the hilarious clip, which was caught on cameras and shared on Heart FM’s social media page, Olly decided to cause mischief during the pair’s Saturday morning breakfast show.

Mark was stood up presenting a link, when Olly decided to run around the desk and yank his mate’s shorts, leaving him standing there in his black briefs.

Trying not to break his composure, Mark continued with the segment, telling viewers how they could get tickets to watch Lewis Capaldi as Olly laughed in the background.

As soon as he could, he then hastily pulled his shorts back up and turned off his mic so viewers couldn’t hear him scolding his friend.

“What you doing?” Mark fumed. “What are you doing? I’m live on the radio, you dope!”

Olly still couldn’t contain his laughter, but held his arms up in the air and said: “I’m sorry!”

Olly then shared the video of the funny moment to his instagram page, with the caption: pulled “Wrighty’s pants down live on air. Sorry mate… couldn’t resist…”

Mark also shared the footage to his account too, proving he eventually saw the funny side.

And a host of the pair’s fans loved it too, sharing their enthusiasm in the comments.

“Now this is just too funny and no one’s saying they haven’t watched this more than once,” one wrote.

“Honestly, you two he needs to get you back. I love how unfazed he is,” another said.

“How he aint murdered you yet I don’t know,” laughed a third, while another commented that it was “lucky Mark wasn’t going commando.”

Even Billie Faiers, who starred with Mark on Towie, commented with a string of crying laughing emojis.

Mark and Olly have been firm friends for years and launched their own show together on Heart back in March.

They have enjoyed ribbing each other throughout their friendship.

Just last month, in an interview with The Sun on Sunday’s Fabulous magazine, Olly joked that Mark was jealous of his six pack.

Olly said: “[Mark] was getting really jealous. He said: ‘Oh my God, Olly, you gotta stop looking good because I ain’t in the gym as much as I used to be!”

Earlier this month Olly became a dad for the second time when wife Amelia Tank welcomed a son named Albert.

The pair are already parents to daughter Madison, who was born in April last year.

Mark and his wife Michelle Keegan became parents themselves earlier this year with daughter Palma coming into the world on March 6.

L.A. Rams vs. Philadelphia Eagles: How to watch, prediction, odds

p]:text-cms-story-body-color-text clearfix”>

The Rams are off to a great start — but now comes the big test.

The defending Super Bowl-champion Philadelphia Eagles, like the Rams, are 2-0.

Sunday’s game at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia will be the Rams’ third opportunity in less than a year to show they can beat a team that ended their 2024 season with a defeat in an NFC divisional-round game.

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and a defense that has surrendered only one touchdown helped the Rams to victories over the Houston Texans and the Tennessee Titans.

The Eagles feature running back Saquon Barkley — the reigning NFL offensive player of the year — quarterback Jalen Hurts, one of the NFL’s best offensive lines and a defense led by tackle Jalen Carter. They have defeated the Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs.

Barkley rushed for more than 200 yards and scored on two long touchdown runs in each of the Eagles’ victories over the Rams last season.

The Rams added lineman Poona Ford and linebacker Nate Landman in the offseason to improve the run defense.

Rams coach Sean McVay is 1-5 against the Eagles. He will once again scheme against Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio.

“Is this a great challenge? You’re damn right it is,” McVay said, adding, “They’ve gotten after us. They’ve gotten the results that they wanted. You can see it’s a combination of a lot of great things that they have going there. … Let’s go swing and see what happens.”

Chargers vs. Denver Broncos how to watch, prediction, betting odds

p]:text-cms-story-body-color-text clearfix”>

A couple of former University of Oregon quarterbacks square off Sunday in a pivotal AFC West matchup. It’s Justin Herbert of the Chargers and Bo Nix of the Denver Broncos, both backed by talented defenses.

The Chargers are making their season debut at SoFi Stadium, and they already have two big pelts to hang on the wall. They’ve beaten Kansas City and Las Vegas, and against Denver are looking to sweep their first half of AFC West games. Last season, in the debut of Jim Harbaugh and Sean Payton with their respective teams, the Chargers swept the Broncos.

“Obviously, his success speaks for itself both at the NFL level and college level,” Payton told reporters this week of Harbaugh. “I was excited that he got a job in our league, but not so much in our division.”

How the Chargers can win: Get another strong performance from Herbert. Spread the ball around to exploit soft spots in Denver’s secondary. Put the clamps on a Broncos ground game and in particular former Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins. So far, the Chargers rank eighth in run defense.

How the Broncos can win: Win on early downs so they can avoid third-and-five (or longer) situations. Establish the run to set up the play-action passing game. Finish stronger — Denver has tended to fade late in games. Make the Chargers one-dimensional; they’ve had a hard time establishing the run.

USC vs. Michigan State: Four things to watch for Saturday

After years of weathering the #AfterDark absurdity of the Pac-12 Conference, USC hoped moving to the Big Ten might help kick most of those bizarre midnight romps from its calendar.

Of course, geographic sense only matters so much in college football when there’s millions to be made from broadcast rights. Fox had the third choice this week among the networks and chose the best available game. That’s why USC and Michigan State will kick off at 8 p.m. Saturday. Which means, in East Lansing, Mich., the game should wrap somewhere around 2:30-3 a.m.

There were two such kickoffs in the Big Ten last season, and only one that included a team hopping three time zones to the west. USC won that 8 p.m. game against Rutgers in quarterback Jayden Maiava’s debut.

The Spartans arrived in L.A. on Thursday to give them plenty of time to acclimate. Jonathan Smith, who previously coached at Oregon State, understands what such a late kickoff requires. Still, you could understand why Michigan State might not be thrilled at the prospect of playing so late.

USC will have its own time-zone trouble to deal with next week, when it kicks off at 9 a.m. PDT in a road matchup with Illinois. This weekend, the bigger question for USC will be if the fans arrive well-rested — or at all.

“Both teams gotta deal with it,” coach Lincoln Riley said. “We gotta handle it well, our crowd needs to handle it well. At the end of the day, it’s a game, it’s being played, it’s being played in the Coliseum, and we expect to win and we expect to have a really good crowd behind us. We’re not going to make excuses about it.”

Here are four things to watch as USC takes on Michigan State:

Trojans take to the air

Few quarterbacks in college football have started the season at the breakneck pace that Jayden Maiava has managed through three weeks. Maiava is averaging more than 14 yards per attempt — the most of any quarterback in the nation by three full yards — while completing 68% of his passes, almost a 10% improvement from last season.

There’s no reason to think that trend won’t continue against Michigan State.

The Spartans rank 118th in the nation — and worst in the Big Ten — in pass defense, and that’s after playing teams like Youngstown State and Western Michigan. They haven’t seen anything yet like USC’s passing offense, and especially receiver Makai Lemon, who ranks behind only Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith in receiving yards (315-311) this season in the Big Ten.

Michigan State has been stingy this season against the run, so it could be tough to find much of a rhythm on the ground. That means a potential big game for Maiava.

Will USC’s pass rush keep rolling?

Through three games, USC’s rejuvenated pass rush actually leads the nation in sacks with 14. Michigan State, meanwhile, has allowed the second-most sacks of any Big Ten team this season.

That formula could mean a long afternoon for Spartan quarterback Aidan Chiles, who Riley said this week poses “the biggest challenge we’ve faced up to this point” at the position. The Long Beach native appears to be putting it all together as a passer, but it’s Chiles’ dual threat ability that could be especially dangerous against a front four that’s been aggressive early in the season..

He’s tied for the conference lead in rush attempts among quarterbacks at 10 per game.

“When you add in Chiles’ athleticism, that definitely adds an entirely new element,” Riley said. “So it’ll be a big focus point for us to be able to keep him in the pocket, to contain him in there.”

When under heavy pressure, Chiles has been much less effective. His completion percentage drops from 79% in a clean pocket to 48% in a pressured one.

Stud receiver status

Both teams could be without their most dynamic pass catcher on Saturday.

USC wideout Ja’Kobi Lane, last year’s Big Ten leader in touchdown receptions, is questionable after he sat out practice on Wednesday. Riley wouldn’t comment on whether he’d be available for the game.

Similarly, the status of Spartan receiver Nick Marsh was up in the air as of Friday. Marsh made the trip to L.A., in spite of dealing with a lower leg injury. He’s by far Michigan State’s most dynamic weapon on offense and his absence would be significant, if he’s unable to go.

Tanook Hines breakout game incoming?

With Lane hobbled, keep a close eye on freshman Tanook Hines, who pulled down a stunning acrobatic catch last Saturday at Purdue.

Riley raved about the freshman earlier this week.

“He goes after the ball with a unique mindset for a freshman,” Riley said. “You talk about a guy who really attacks the ball. He’s played physical. He’s a really good blocker. He’s done a good job of picking up our system. … He’s an all-ball guy. There’s no fluff to this guy. He’s an edgy, tough competitor.”

Chargers vs. Raiders: How to watch, prediction and betting odds

p]:text-cms-story-body-color-text clearfix”>

Fresh off a toppling of Kansas City, the Chargers make their second stop on their whirlwind tour of the AFC West to face another familiar foe.

It’s Jim Harbaugh versus Pete Carroll, a coaching rivalry that began when Harbaugh was at Stanford and Carroll was at USC, and continued with Harbaugh at the San Francisco 49ers and Carroll at the Seattle Seahawks.

“You’d be friends,” Harbaugh said. “You’d be almost like brothers if it wasn’t for being on opposite sidelines. It’s the kind of guy you’d send a Christmas card to, but you don’t, because you’re too busy trying to scratch each other’s eyeballs out. Nature of the business. Dog-eat-dog.”

Like the Chargers, the Raiders opened with a win on the road, a 20-13 victory at New England.

The Las Vegas defense clamped down in that one, allowing the Patriots just 60 yards on the ground and a four-of-14 performance on third downs.

Geno Smith threw for 362 yards in his Raiders debut, and rookie Ashton Jeanty ran for his first NFL touchdown.

Tight end Brock Bowers had five catches for 103 yards before leaving the game with a banged-up knee.

How the Chargers can win: Get to Smith, who was sacked four times in the opener. Don’t allow him the time to complete those deep passes. Get a command performance from that array of receivers who put on a show in Brazil. Let Justin Herbert keep the Raiders’ defense honest by tearing off an off-schedule run or two.

How the Raiders can win: Put the ball in the hands of Bowers, providing he’s back up to full speed. Get a breakout game from Jeanty, who did score against the Patriots but only averaged two yards per carry. Take advantage of a reshuffled Chargers offensive line, something the Chiefs couldn’t do.

Watch moment man is pinned down by onlookers before being arrested after ‘destroying Charlie Kirk’s memorial’

THIS is the moment a man is dragged to the ground by enraged onlookers after he appears to destroy a Charlie Kirk memorial.

Footage caught the individual stamping on flowers, balloons and US flags before he was pulled away and pinned up against a wall by cops.

Police in Phoenix arrested the young man and charged him with criminal damage and disorderly conduct.

He was later identified as 19-year-old Ryder Corral.

Hundreds of Kirk’s fans had helped put together a memorial for the late conservative heavyweight outside the Turning Point headquarters in Arizona.

Kirk, a father-of-two who had been raising his family in the state, was the co-founder of Turning Point USA.

The shocking footage shows a man dressed in a black t-shirt and blue jeans walking across the vast memorial site.

He managed to make it about 15 yards across the rows of touching tributes laid in honour of Kirk before an onlooker stepped in to stop him.

An older man in a white cap, light blue top and shorts ran across to Corral as the pair appeared to exchange some words.

Seconds later, the clearly enraged gentleman grabs Corral with both hands close to his neck and throws him to the ground.

Corral is sent tumbling over as several other people step in.

Both men and women surround the downed protester and lead him over to waiting police officers who had been on hand to watch over the memorial site.

Charlie Kirk ‘assassin’ Tyler Robinson ‘not cooperating or confessing’ as family & transgender partner help FBI

Cops take Corral over to a wall behind the now dozens of watching bystanders and place him in handcuffs.

He was then taken to the local station and booked.

It was later reported that he was wearing the same top as Kirk’s suspected assassin at the time of the murder.

Kirk was tragically shot in the neck as he launched his “American Comeback” campus tour in Utah.

The 31-year-old was rushed to hospital but died shortly after as a hunt for his killer ensued.

Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old main suspect has since been arrested but is now refusing to cooperate with cops.

The FBI had shared images taken minutes after Kirk’s death which showed the gunman walking away from the university campus.

He was wearing a National Disabled Veterans Foundation T-shirt emblazoned with an eagle soaring in front of the Stars and Stripes.

Chilling details around Robinson’s life have been released by cops in recent days as they continue to question him over Kirk’s murder.

Utah Governor Spencer Cox revealed the latest details on the investigation on Sunday.

He confirmed that Robinson has a transgender partner who has been helping the FBI.

The boyfriend is currently transitioning from male to female and had been living with Robinson.

The Sun revealed on Saturday that Robinson had been seen kissing his transgender partner two weeks before the shooting.

His family are also helping cops build their case against him after Robinson’s dad turned him in, bringing an end to the desperate manhunt.

He had confessed to his dad that he carried out the shooting, who then told a family friend, who called law enforcement to the scene on Thursday night, Cox previously said.

Charges are set to be formally filed against Robinson on Tuesday.

A motive for the assassination has not yet been uncovered, though Cox previously said the suspect, who’s parents are registered Republicans, was “deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology”.

These claims were made by Robinson’s family and close acquaintances, Cox said, but added that the charging documents will detail much more information.

The Governor has also confirmed reports that Robinson had spoken with others on Discord following the shooting, claiming he was the gunman.

“All we can confirm is that those conversations definitely were happening, and they did not believe it was actually him,” Cox said.

“It was all joking until, until he, you know, until he admitted that it actually was him.”

He had reportedly joked that a “doppelganger” was trying to get him in trouble, in reference to the initial suspect pictures released by the FBI.

Meanwhile, Robinson is said to be under “special watch” after he allegedly told his dad “he’d rather die than hand himself in”.

He is being housed in the Utah County jail’s Special Housing Unit – where he is monitored around the clock to ensure he doesn’t harm himself or others, according to TMZ.

Utah County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Sgt. Raymond Ormond said Robinson is under evaluation by mental health professionals to determine whether he is suicidal.

On Saturday, Kirk’s wife Erika spoke for the first time since his murder, vowing to continue his legacy, turning her “widow’s tears into a battle cry”.

She was pictured weeping over his coffin and revealed that she told their three-year-old daughter, “Daddy is on a work trip with Jesus” after she returned home to their two young children without Kirk.

His funeral will take place on September 21 and will be attended by the President.

Canelo vs. Crawford: How to watch, fight card, schedule and more

What seemed like an impossible matchup a few years ago is now a reality: Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez and Terence “Bud” Crawford will face off in a fight that promises to break audience records.

The highly anticipated duel will take place on Saturday at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nev., where the Mexican will put his WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBF world titles on the line in the super middleweight division (168 pounds).

Álvarez (63-2-2, 39 KOs), 35, comes off a comfortable victory over William Scull in May, during which Álvarez successfully defended his belts. Now he faces the challenge of an undefeated opponent considered one of the best pound-for-pound fighters today.

Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) will look to make history by moving up from welterweight to try to dethrone the Jalisco champion. With titles in four different divisions, the American is aiming to conquer a fifth crown in a completely new category for him.

How to watch:

The fight will be broadcast exclusively on Netflix, with no fee beyond the streaming service’s standard subscription fee. In the U.S., Netflix subscriptions start at $7.99, a massively reduced figure from typical boxing pay-per-view fees.

The main event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. PDT.

Clash of the undefeated in the co-main event

Undefeated Callum Walsh (14-0, 11 KOs, from Cork, Ireland) and Fernando Vargas Jr. (17-0, 15 KOs, from Las Vegas, Nev.) will face off in a super welterweight co-main event.

On the same card, WBC interim super middleweight champion Christian Mbilli (29-0, 24 KOs, from Quebec, Canada, born in France) will take on WBA No. 3 and WBC No. 7 Lester Martinez (19-0, 16 KOs, from San Benito Petén, Guatemala) in a super middleweight battle.

Rams vs. Titans: How to watch, prediction and betting odds

p]:text-cms-story-body-color-text clearfix”>

Quarterback Matthew Stafford, the linchpin to the Rams’ aspirations for another Super Bowl appearance, emerged largely unscathed from a season-opening victory over the Houston Texans, but another great challenge awaits the offensive line Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.

Left guard Steve Avila is doubtful because of an ankle injury and right guard Kevin Dotson will be playing through an ankle issue.

Not great news for a group that must contain Titans defensive end Jeffery Simmons.

“He is really disruptive,” Stafford said of Simmons, who sacked Stafford three times in a Rams defeat in 2021, “gets off on the count, physical, fast and plays with a nasty streak.”

To reinforce the line and help establish the rushing attack, coach Sean McVay could deploy multiple tight ends.

The Rams’ defense faces quarterback Cam Ward, the top pick in the NFL draft.

Ward completed 12 of 28 passes for 112 yards in a 20-12 defeat by the Denver Broncos. He was sacked six times.

“He didn’t play bad last week,” Rams edge rusher Byron Young said. “He looked pretty comfortable back there even though he got sacked a few times. He was handling himself pretty well. … He knows what he’s doing. Even though he’s a rookie, he’s definitely somebody you can’t sleep on.”

Brentford vs Chelsea live stream and TV channel: How to watch Saturday night’s Premier League London derby

CHELSEA travel up the road where they will face rivals Brentford in what is already their fourth London derby of the season – and SunSport can point fans in the right direction of where to tune in.

Joao Pedro’s header and Enzo Fernandez’s penalty helped the Blues overcome a furious Fulham side before the international break.

But it was a victory that was surrounded by controversy as the PGMOL were forced to apologise for incorrectly ruling out Fulham forward, Josh King’s goal.

And Pedro’s opening strike was a major talking point with it coming in the NINTH minute of stoppage time despite only eight minutes being added.

Elsewhere, Brentford had drama of their own as they most recently lost to newly-promoted Sunderland courtesy of a 90+6 stoppage time Wilson Isidor penalty after leading the game up until the 77th minute.

So they’ll be itching to get back on track with a win and hand one of the only remaining undefeated sides a loss at the Gtech.

How can I watch Brentford vs Chelsea?

  • Brentford vs Chelsea will be broadcast LIVE on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League.
  • Fans can also stream the entire action via a compatible tablet or mobile device on NOW TV.
  • Alternatively, SunSport will have minute-by-minute action through our live blog.
  • This London derby takes place on Saturday, September 13 and kicks off at 8pm BST.
  • The Gtech Community Stadium is the chosen venue for this thrilling clash and it can host approximately 17,250 supporters.
  • There was nothing to separate the sides when they last met in April with the score ending 0-0.

What is the latest injury news?

Chelsea have been dealt an injury blow with Liam Delap‘s injury worse than first feared.

Delap, 22, hobbled off early on in the controversial win over Fulham on August 30.

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca initially thought his £30million transfer from Ipswich would miss six to eight weeks.

But it is now clear he will miss significantly more than that.

The Athletic report Delap will not return to training until November.

Dario Essugo, Romeo Lavia and Benoit Badiashile are all set to the miss the London derby.

As for Blues talisman Cole Palmer, it is still unclear whether he’ll return after missing both the clash against West Ham and Fulham as well as pulling out of the England side.

Alvarez (61-2-2, 39 KOs), is Mexico’s biggest boxing star and a winner of 11 boxing world titles over an illustrious 20-year career.

The orthodox fighter never enjoyed a sterling amateur career, having turned professional at just 15 years old.

The 35-year-old is a four-division world champion: light middleweight, middleweight, super middleweight and light heavyweight.

In 2021, Alvarez became the first and only boxer in history to become the undisputed super middleweight champion when he knocked out Caleb Plant.

His two career losses have come against fellow legends Floyd Mayweather Jr and Dmitry Bivol but did little to dent Alvarez’s enormous popularity with boxing fans across the world.

Who is Terence Crawford?

Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs) from Omaha, Nebraska, began his boxing career in 2008 and is undefeated as a professional.

The 37-year-old southpaw, who has won 10-world titles in total, is a former lightweight champion, junior welterweight undisputed champion and welterweight undisputed champion. Crawford is the current unified welterweight champion and WBA junior middleweight champion.

For his career, he is a four-division world champion and has held undisputed titles in two weight classes: super lightweight and welterweight.

The preliminary card is scheduled to begin at 3:30pm (22:30 GMT) and the main card at 6pm (01:00 GMT on Sunday).

  • Alvarez vs Crawford (super middleweight)
  • Callum Walsh vs Fernando Vargas Jr (super welterweight – co-main event)

  • Reito Tsutsumi vs Javier Martinez (super featherweight)
  • Sultan Almohammed vs Martin Caraballo (super lightweight)
  • Steven Nelson vs Raiko Santana (light heavyweight)
  • Marco Verde vs Marcos Osorio Betancourt (super middleweight)

What is the fight purse?

The total prize money has not been revealed, but it has been calculated as high as $150m, according to multiple media reports.

Alvarez will have a career-high payday with the Mexican earning a minimum of $100m for this fight thanks to signing one of the most lucrative boxing contracts in history: an astronomical five-fight, $400m deal with Saudi promoter Turki Al-Sheikh’s Riyadh Season.

Crawford is guaranteed a minimum of $10m although his final figure is likely to be substantially higher with bonuses and other payments.

Crawford, when asked about rumours of a $50m payday during a recent interview on the Ring Champs podcast, rejected the figure.

“I got $10m for that fight [with Alvarez],” Crawford said of his guaranteed prize purse.

What has Alvarez said about the fight?

Alvarez, speaking at the Grand Arrivals event in Las Vegas on Tuesday, asked whether Crawford’s team have underestimated moving up two weight classes.

“No, they don’t [underestimate the weight class]. Maybe they know, but if not, then I’m going to remind them September 13 I can do a lot of things in the ring, and I’m going to put everything there on Saturday night,” he said.

When asked about Crawford’s recent social post that appears to reveal extra muscle mass on the American fighter, Alvarez commented that he thought that bodes well for a competitive contest.

“I feel happy because you know that you realise it’s going to be a good fight. So we expect a good fight.”

What has Crawford said about the fight?

Crawford is calling the matchup the biggest fight in boxing in “probably a decade” as he bids to become the first male boxer to be undisputed in three weight classes.

“Canelo don’t want to lose to a guy moving up two weight classes,” Crawford said. “You know, he don’t want a smaller guy dethroning him from his undisputed status. Terence Crawford wants to move up and do all those things.

“He’s got a lot to lose. I got a lot to win. I got a lot to lose. He’s got a lot to win.”

The American praised Alvarez’s experience and career while backing his own tools to carry the night.

“Canelo is very experienced. I’m very experienced as well. You got two experienced fighters going head-to-head. The best man is going to win,” he said, adding that his footwork and speed could be decisive.

“I admire his whole career. He and his team have done a tremendous job,” Crawford said, adding that after he wins the battle, he will wish Alvarez “nothing but the best”.

Crawford predicted how the bout would end: “Victory. A good victory… They’re going to be saying that I’m the greatest of this generation and this era.”

Who is the favourite to win the match?

Multiple betting agencies around the world have Alvarez as the favourite to win the fight – but not by a wide margin.

On average, the Mexican pays out $1.60 for the victory vs Crawford’s $2.60 across several well-known betting pools.

Angela Rayner’s exit & Starmer’s hasty Cabinet reshuffle is like an episode of The Traitors… now PM must watch his back

IT may not be an imposing castle and there’s no Claudia Winkleman but Downing Street has become the stage for a real-life version of The Traitors.

Sir Keir Starmer set the scene for weeks of vicious plotting when he banished his faithful deputy from the Cabinet.

Illustration of political figures in hooded cloaks, with the question "Traitors...?" above them.

Angela Rayner’s exit and Starmer’s hasty Cabinet reshuffle is like an episode of The Traitors… now PM must watch his back

His gushing letter to Angela Rayner after she was forced out was true to the hit TV series.

It could be summed up as: “So sorry, Ange. I really like you and I really, really hope it isn’t you. But I’ve got to go with my gut.”

But it hasn’t washed with her admirers who now see her as a standard bearer for Labour’s Left.

The problem for the PM is whether his ousted sidekick will be recruited by The Traitors — a clique of MPs and activists hellbent on revenge.

They think Sir Keir is the real traitor — a class traitor — and are ready to unleash anger and resentment that has been building up over the past 14 months.

‘Knives are out’

When Ms Rayner quit as Deputy PM and Housing Secretary, she also stood down as Labour’s Deputy Leader — an elected position.

The search for her successor will become a divisive and bloody battle for the soul of the party.

One activist declared: “It’s going to be carnage. The knives are out already — and many of them are aimed at Starmer’s back.

“Most MPs can’t stand him or his politics, and over the past week their hatred has gone off the scale.”

Ms Rayner and her supporters are not the only people to harbour a grudge against the PM.

Angela Rayner’s flat VANDALISED with graffiti calling her a ‘tax evader’ after she admitted underpaying stamp duty

Her departure forced him into a hasty Cabinet reshuffle in which several of her colleagues were also thrown under the bus.

One minister dumped in Sir Keir’s shake-up even vowed privately: “I’m going to f*** him up.”

The deputy leadership race could now turn into a proxy war to destabilise the PM and find his successor.

There are whispers about a stalking horse to pave the way for Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham to steal the crown and, bizarrely, that Ed Miliband is pondering a bid for a leadership comeback.

The scandal has also exposed the Prime Minister’s indecision and weakness — flaws he once levelled at Boris Johnson.

Sir Keir allowed Ms Rayner to cling on to her job for eight days after it was revealed she had avoided paying £40,000 stamp duty on her swish new seaside property at Hove, East Sussex.

It was clear that at the very least she was guilty of rank hypocrisy and had to go.

One of his biggest tests will be the Budget on November 26

You’d think after being gifted £2,400 of free spectacles, Sir Keir would have seen what was coming.

But he left it to an ethics adviser to reach the inevitable conclusion — and even then, the PM didn’t sack her but let her resign.

Sir Keir knows he must fix the economy and stop the boats if he has any chance of winning the next General Election.

But the Left has been angered and emboldened, and their opening salvos are likely to be fired at the Labour Conference in Liverpool later this month.

One of his biggest tests will be the Budget on November 26, when drastic action is needed to plug the £50billion black hole in Britain’s finances.

Normally, all the pressure would be on Rachel Reeves to deliver. But the PM sidelined the Chancellor last week to take personal charge of economic policy.

He appointed his own economics guru and poached Ms Reeves’s geeky number two Darren Jones as well as the Chancellor’s chief tax adviser to join his No10 team.

One disgruntled source said: “Keir has made it clear he plans to own the next Budget.

“If that’s the case, he can shoulder all the blame when it goes down like a bag of cold sick.”

Cabinet heavyweight Pat McFadden has been put in charge of forcing through welfare reform, months after benefit cuts were ditched amid a backbench rebellion. His task just got a lot harder.

Time to get a grip

Another big mission — which eclipses any TV challenge Claudia could set — is to tackle the asylum crisis.

Voters are desperate to see this Government deliver on its promises soon

Sir Keir staged a clear-out of the Home Office at the weekend, removing Home Secretary Yvette Cooper and two of her ministers following their failure to stop the boats and close migrant hotels.

Hardly a surprise, as Sir Keir has had more success removing ministers than asylum seekers.

He has ushered in tough-talking former Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood — who supports chemical castration for serious sex offenders — to head up the dysfunctional department.

The PM knows that if she is unable to get a grip of the nation’s number one concern, he won’t be given time to send in a third team.

Voters are desperate to see this Government deliver on its promises soon.

Sir Keir returned from his summer break to declare he had begun “phase two” of his plan to change Britain.

If it continues like this, there won’t be any time for a phase three.

Voters will ask Sir Keir to reveal whether he’s a Faithful or a Traitor.

Then banish him from Number 10.

Rams vs. Houston Texans: How to watch, prediction and odds

p]:text-cms-story-body-color-text clearfix”>

If the Rams pass rush wants to christen itself as the NFL’s most ferocious, the Houston Texans could offer a prime chance to showcase its “dangerous” capabilities.

The offensive line has been a significant concern for the Texans, to the point where coach DeMeco Ryans is tired of talking about it. Despite quarterback CJ Stroud being sacked 52 times last season (third most in the NFL), Houston wasn’t necessarily able to improve the unit, especially after trading blindside protector Laremy Tunsil to Washington.

The mostly fresh-faced starting five will be tasked with staying in front of a Rams pass rush contingent that enters the season ranked sixth in the NFL by Pro Football Focus.

Jared Verse, Kobie Turner, Braden Fiske and Byron Young could create significant issues for Stroud, and Poona Ford could be the missing ingredient the Rams need to shore up their defensive front to create even more problems for opposing offenses.

Stroud isn’t the only one facing a tough pass rush. Matthew Stafford and his recovering back will be tested against a Houston defense that racked up 49 sacks (fourth in NFL) and 19 interceptions (second) last season.

The 37-year-old quarterback didn’t practice until late into training camp, but Stafford and coach Sean McVay have said they are confident everything will be normal.

Over the years, Kerry Katona, has had a turbulent love life, divorcing Brian McFadden in 2004 and Mark Croft in 2011.

She also previously split from fiance Ryan Mahoney in November last year after six years together.

She had five children with three different partners, which includes her 18-year-old daughter Heidi.

On Celebs Go Dating, the teenager went face-to-face with her mum’s new toyboy lover Paolo Margaglione, 33, for the first time as they went public.

Her lover – who is 11-years younger – also faced up to Kerry’s best friend Danielle Brown, sister of Scary Spice, Mel B.

In agonising scenes, the former Atomic Kitten star confessed: “I am absolutely s******* myself only because I really like Paolo.

“I want them to really like him too. So getting their approval means everything to me, but I’m a nervous wreck.”

As Paolo went to give the pair a hug, he only received a tentative embrace from Heidi as Kerry was seen aggressively pointing at her daughter.

He confidently exclaimed: “Nice to see you,” as Heidi gave off a nervous giggle.

“Nice to see you too,” she replied back, but it was Danielle who took charge of the grilling.

“We’ve been friends for like 16 years. Is it? So I’m ride or die, got her back.”

Paolo replied: “Obviously, I really like Kerry. We get on very well. The fact that I’ve met her was like mind blowing.”

This is when Kerry asked her daughter why she was being “so quiet,” who declared that she was ‘nervous’.

It seems Kerry was feeling the exact same way as she admitted: “I’m sorry, I’m sweating so much. Honestly, no. Don’t touch me. I’m really dripping.”

But Danielle confidently carried on with the questioning as she said: “So, I’m just saying she’s my best, best friend. So I’ve got questions.

“The whole fame thing, because Kerry does get papped a lot when you’re out and stuff like that.

“You need to know what you’re dealing with, really, don’t you?Because for me, as a friend in 16 years, I’ve seen so, like many people, trying to get with Kerry, and they’re on the fame and they’re on the money and they’re on the attention.”

However, Paolo admitted that his intentions are only admirable as he already has daughters and he just wants to settle down.

I want them to really like him too. So getting their approval means everything to me, but I’m a nervous wreck.

He explained: “This sounds really weird, but I already feel like the richest man in the world, I’ve got my daughters.

“So my daughter’s made that and then I’ve met somebody that I really connect with as well.

“So for me, I don’t need anything from anyone. I’ve been fully transparent from the beginning. So yeah, I think that’s really important.”

Paolo added” “I think if we just have the conversations, the awkward ones or whatever, get to know each other straight away, all your cards on the table.

Channel 4’s best competition shows

Channel 4 boasts a number impressive competition shows, but which ones are really the best?

Four in a Bed

  • Reality competition show Four in a Bed has been airing on Channel 4 since 2010. It follows four couples as they take turns to stay at each others B&Bs and hotels, rating their stays along the way. The couple with the establishment voted best value for money are the winners.

Come Dine With Me

  • Come Dine With Me has been staple British viewing since 2005, providing some outrageous telly moments over the years. Like Four in a Bed, the series moves around to different properties as it follows four contestants as they each host a (supposedly) gourmet dinner party for each other. After each dinner the guests score the host out of 10, will the winner being revealed on the final evening.

The Great British Bake Off

  • Another national treasure, The Great British Bake Off welcomes a group of 12 amateur bakers to put their culinary skills to the test with Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith judging their efforts. One contestant is eliminated each week until the final three face off in the last week.

Bake Off: The Professionals

  • Bake Off: The Professionals puts a twist on GBBO, pitting two teams of professional pastry chefs against each other in every episode. It’s up to judges Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden to determine who has what it takes to make it through to the final.

Admiring his remarks, Heidi noted: “He’s very emotionally mature.”

To finish off the interrogation, Danielle asked Paolo what Kerry’s ideal weekend would look like in one final test.

He answered: “Her ideal day off would be to just get cozy, watch some movies and chill.”

Danielle admired his response as she then replied: “You know her well then.”

Picture an enchanting woodland sanctuary where you can discover and wander amongst 2,500 distinct varieties of trees and shrubs from across the globe, all within Britain’s borders.

Roughly 15,000 trees call this place home, and there’s no finer moment to witness them than during autumn, when their foliage erupts in a spectacular display of colour, from rich crimson to blazing orange and golden yellow.

You can even lose yourself amongst the forest canopy via the Tree Top Walkway. Stretching 300 metres in length, it gently ascends on easy slopes to reach 13 metres high, providing breathtaking vistas across the gorgeous English countryside. The arboretum is hailed as “truly one of the most beautiful tree gardens to be found anywhere in the world.”

Renowned globally for its magnificent autumn colour spectacle, it provides a memorable day out throughout the year, from glorious blossoming trees in spring, to striking and colourful-stemmed varieties in winter…though autumn truly reveals it at its finest, reports the Express.

One guest remarked: “It is so spectacular, the best place in the world to watch the Autumn leaves change colour.” This breathtaking autumnal haven sits in Westonbirt, location of the National Arboretum, merely a few miles south west of Tetbury in Gloucestershire.

Established by Victorian businessman Robert Holford, its 240 hectares (600 acres) were cultivated during a thrilling era of botanical exploration, when trees and shrubs from around the world were brought to Britain. Westonbirt Arboretum, unlike other arboretums, is laid out for aesthetic appeal rather than botanical order, making it a particularly stunning sight.

The medieval village of Westonbirt was originally situated to the southwest of St Catherine’s Church. In 1840, it comprised ten cottages, a rectory, and a farmhouse, straddling the road to Easton Grey.

However, when Robert Holford inherited the Westonbirt estate in 1839, he found the village’s location obstructed his plans to expand his gardens westward. So, in the early 1850s, he relocated the village half a mile further away. This move allowed him to create an informal garden featuring numerous specimen trees, a lake, and a rockery.

Today, the arboretum is managed by Forestry England and is arguably the most significant and well-known arboretum in the UK. As part of the Westonbirt House estate, the arboretum is listed Grade I on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens of special historic interest.

It boasts approximately 15,000 trees and shrubs, with 17 miles (27 km) of marked paths providing access to a wide variety of rare plants. The Old Arboretum is a carefully designed landscape dating back to the 1850s, featuring several avenues and a number of rare and exotic trees from around the world.

Silk Wood, on the other hand, is a more traditional working woodland, dating back to the 13th century. Throughout the arboretum, every individual tree bears a label, either attached to its trunk or a low-hanging branch. Blue markers denote Westonbirt’s “champion trees”, the tallest or largest specimens of their species in Britain.

The website advises visitors to “Pop into the Welcome Building at the start of your visit – you’ll find lots of interesting information to help you make the most of your visit as well as stories about Westonbirt’s trees and how they are cared for. There are seasonal trail leaflets, which will guide you around some of the most amazing trees in our tree collection – hand-picked by us!”

Take a walk on the STIHL Treetop Walkway, 300 metres long it gradually rises on gentle inclines to a height of 13 metres offering spectacular views across the arboretum landscape. It is accessible to visitors on foot, using mobility scooters, wheelchairs and pushchairs and to those with dogs on leads.

It leads visitors from near the Welcome Building into the treetops of the beautiful Silk Wood. For families, our play trail is a great way to fire children’s imaginations and, in such stunning surroundings, it’s an enjoyable adventure for the whole family. “.
