Having tested plenty of the market’s best noise-cancelling headphones myself, I know how rare it is to see this spec list at this sort of price.
With 4-mic active noise cancelling, they block out the world so you can sink into your playlists, podcasts or plane movies in peace.
Battery life clocks in at a generous 22 hours, and the Rapid Charge feature earns you enough juice for three hours of listening on just a ten-minute charge.
They’re cleverly built too, with easy controls for calls, volume and tracks right on the earcup, and Tile tracking tech baked in so you can hunt them down in seconds if they go missing.
They fold flat, collapse down for travel, and even come with a bonus USB-C charging cable, which is a small but handy extra that makes them feel like a real all-rounder.

Do I need to be a Prime member to take part in Prime Day?
Never been a member before? You’re in luck – Amazon offers a 30-day free trial for newbies.
This essentially gives you full access to the mammoth sale and all the Prime perks, without spending a penny.
Just be sure to set a reminder – you’ll need to cancel before the 30-day trial ends to avoid being charged the £8.99 monthly fee.
If you’re planning to keep Prime long-term, you can save by opting for the annual membership at £95.
How much is Amazon Prime?
An Amazon Prime membership costs £8.99 per month or £95 for the whole year – but with all the perks on offer, it could save you a fortune.
Amazon’s yearly subscription service gives you access to a treasure trove of benefits, from quick delivery to binge-worthy telly and exclusive discounts.
The annual membership works out cheaper than paying monthly, saving you nearly £13 over the year – perfect if you’re planning to stick with Prime long-term.
Not sure if it’s worth splashing the cash? Amazon offers a 30-day free trial for new members (or anyone who hasn’t been a member in the last 12 months).
This means you can enjoy all the Prime perks, including access to the Amazon sale, without spending a penny – just remember to cancel before the 30 days are up if you don’t want to be charged.
The mega-sale features a mix of different deal types, including:
“Deals of the day,” which last a limited time – or vanish even quicker if stock runs out.
Limited “lightning deals” which appear and disappear in the blink of an eye once stock is gone.
Some offers (particularly Amazon’s own devices) will stick around for the full sale period.
How long will Prime Day 2025 deals last?
As mentioned above, Prime Big Deal Days is a two-day event that will take place between October 7 and 8, 2025.
The sale is slightly shorter than July’s Prime Day event, which gave shoppers four days of unmissable deals.
It was the biggest Prime Day event to date, with customers saving billions on deals across more than 35 product categories.
Our top tip? If you spot something you’ve been eyeing up with a massive discount, grab it quickly.
Hesitate and you’ll likely miss out – these deals wait for no one!
Does Amazon have Prime Day deals on everything?
Prime Day is a shopaholic’s dream, with discounts across virtually every Amazon department.
Here are several categories worth checking out:
Whether you’re shopping for yourself or hunting for gifts, you’ll find something on sale in whatever category catches your eye.
Can students take part in Prime Day?
Yes, students can get in on all the Prime Day bargains.
Amazon offers students a special Prime Student membership that comes with the same perks as regular Prime but at a serious discount – just £4.49 monthly.
Even better, students get an incredible six-month free trial (compared to the normal 30 days), giving you access to all the Prime Day deals without spending a penny.
To qualify, you’ll need:
A valid university email address
Proof of enrollment
The student discount lasts for four years or until you graduate (whichever comes first) – making this one of the best bargains going for cash-strapped students.
How do I cancel my Amazon Prime 30-day free trial after Prime Day?
If you’re taking advantage of an Amazon Prime trial to grab Prime Day bargains, you’ll need to cancel before your 30 days are up to avoid being charged the full membership fee.
Luckily, cancelling is a doddle – here’s exactly how to do it:
On your phone or tablet:
Open the Amazon app and tap the profile icon at the bottom
Tap ‘Your Account’
Select ‘Manage Prime Membership’
Tap ‘Manage Membership’ at the top
Hit ‘Update, cancel and more’
Scroll down and tap ‘End membership’
On your computer:
Head to Amazon.co.uk/gp/primecentral
Click ‘Update, cancel, and more’ below ‘Membership’
Click ‘End membership’
Select the yellow ‘Cancel My Benefits’ button
Click ‘Continue to Cancel’
Confirm by clicking ‘Cancel Membership’
Even after cancelling, you’ll still keep all your Prime benefits until the end of your trial period.
You’ll see the exact end date displayed on the screen after cancelling.
If you end up forgetting to cancel and get charged, Amazon may offer a full refund if you haven’t used any Prime benefits since the trial ended.
How often is Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day typically takes place once a year in July.
The retail giant also hosts a second major sales event in October, known as Prime Big Deal Days.
In addition to these two events, Amazon runs regular sales throughout the year, including a Spring Sale in March.
The retailer also offers unbeatable deals during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, so there are plenty of opportunities to save.
Amazon’s line of Fire tablets are great, all-purpose devices for browsing and streaming – especially for shoppers who want to stay away from the big bucks of more powerful devices like Apple iPads and Samsung Tabs.
It also doubles up as an e-reader, though dedicated book-lovers should gravitate towards the retailer’s Kindle range.
The Fire HD 10 is perfect for watching, reading, and gaming, and it’s 25% faster than the old model.
Basically, its engine got a major upgrade – it now has a powerful processor and 3 GB of RAM, which helps everything run super-smoothly.
You get awesome HD entertainment on a big 10.1-inch screen that makes all your games and shows look great with brilliant colour.
(By the way, if you want something smaller and cheaper, the 8-inch Fire HD 8 is also on sale for just £49.99.)
The tablet has serious stamina: you can binge-watch for up to 13 hours without needing to plug into its charger.
The tablet is durable, too, with a strengthened screen that Amazon claims to to be 2.7 times tougher than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (2022) in a drop test.
Need a good device to chat with friends and family? The 5MP front camera is way better for video calls than squinting at your small phone screen.
For storage, it comes with 32GB or 64GB of space, which is expandable by up to 1TB with a separate microSD card.
And this being an Amazon gadget, you can operate it via Alexa – it can help you out with streaming videos, relaying the latest news and controlling other smart devices in the same connected ecosystem.

Robot vacuums come in a wide variety of budgets and capabilities, from basic models that just sweep to high-end devices that map your entire home and even mop.
But you don’t always have to splash the cash for great features, as Amazon often drops the price on some leading cleaning devices.
Right now, you can snap up the Vexilar Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum Cleaner for an absolutely steal.
It was priced at £329.99, but is currently reduced to just £199.98 – that’s a discount of almost 40%.
We in the Sun Shopping team haven’t tested out this particular models ourselves – for some tested recommendations, you’ll need to head to our best robot vacuum cleaners page.
But this device has proved incredibly popular with shoppers, currently ranking as the third-best selling robot vacuum on the Amazon site.
The Vexilar packs two pieces of impressive tech for a price that’s now firmly in budget territory.
Firstly, it’s unusual to get a robot vacuum for less than £200 that comes with a self-emptying bin – that’s usually the domain of premium devices.
(I recently reviewed a flagship robot vac that self-empties, but it costs a whopping £1,119 – read my Eureka J15 Max Ultra review if you’re curious.)
The Vexilar’s base station contains a 2L dust bag, which is advertised to last for 60 days before you need to empty it.
That’s a massive plus for busy households.
Secondly, there’s the laser-mapping, which is something you’ll not often see with cheaper devices.
Basically, its Advanced LDS Laser Navigation will precisely map your home in 360 degrees, allowing it to plan the most efficient cleaning route.
It even lets you set virtual ‘no-go’ zones and customise suction or water levels for specific rooms via the app.
When it comes to power, the vacuum boasts a 6000Pa suction, and the manufacturer says it’s effective at tackling pet hair and debris on everything from hardwood floors to low-pile carpets.
The device also has a long 180-minute runtime on a single charge in quiet mode, before returning to its base station to re-charge.
You can control it via the companion app, or connect it to your smart home using Alexa, Google Home, or Siri – that’s seriously hands-off cleaning.
2
The Vexilar robot vacuum will run for 3 hours off a single charge in quiet mode
“Worth it – powerful, reliable, and hassle-free,” says one happy customer.
“[I’m] really happy with this robot vacuum. Easy to set up, cleans well, and the auto-empty base is a big time saver.
It navigates around furniture without any issues and picks up dust and pet hair easily… Makes life a lot easier. Definitely recommend.”
Another shopper writes: “I’ve been using this for a few days now but oh boy! I’m honestly impressed!
“The battery lasts long enough to finish the whole house, and if it runs low it goes back, recharges and picks up where it left off.
“I also like that I can control it with the app or just ask Alexa to start cleaning,” said another.
“Worth every penny, don’t hesitate!” wrote a third shopper, while other buyers described it
“Complete game-changer,” commented a fourth.
“Life-changing,” was the verdict of a fifth reviewer.
This huge saving on the Vexilar Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum Cleaner is marked as a limited-time deal, so you shouldn’t wait too long if you want to bag this bargain.
Keep in mind that Amazon Prime Day is happening next week (October 7th-8th), and it’s not impossible that this device could drop even lower in price.
However, any potential further discount will likely be a deal only available to Amazon Prime members.
It’s normally the final day to get your hands on incredible discounts, as it comes straight after Black Friday.
Unlike Black Friday, Cyber Monday was traditionally geared toward online shoppers, with some retailers adding extra discounts for web purchasers.
However, over the last few years, it has become an extension of Black Friday, with retailers extending deals both online and in-store.
It’s well worth keeping an eye out for any last-minute price cuts, as it’s the final chance to score treadmill savings before the festive season (although retailers will sometimes extend the sale).
For this year’s best Cyber Monday deals, make sure to check out our Cyber Monday hub.
How much does treadmill shipping cost?
Delivery costs will vary depending on the retailer, distance, weight, and size of the treadmill.
If free shipping isn’t available, treadmill delivery costs generally range from around £25 to £100 or more.
Additional fees may apply for installation or upstairs delivery.
Do treadmill retailers offer any other discounts?
Yes, retailers like Amazon, Argos, Very, and John Lewis offer treadmill promotions, limited-time deals, and new customer discounts throughout the year.
Which retailers had the best Black Friday treadmill deals in 2024?
All the big fitness brands usually take part in the Black Friday sales action, as well as retailers like Argos, WalkingPad, and Decathlon.
This means you can pick up a bargain on treadmills by the likes of NordicTrack, Echelon, Reebok, and more.
Because of the sheer range of choices, it’s hard to give a definitive answer for which retailer had the ‘best’ deal.
There were bargains to be found in several places and on different brands and models of treadmills – so this year, it’s well worth shopping around to compare prices.
Make sure you check out the following places for deals:
What are the best treadmills you can buy?
Not sure which treadmill is right for you?
When it comes to the best treadmills to use in the comfort of your own home, there are plenty of great options out there, depending on your needs and budget.
If you’re prepared to make a serious investment, NordicTrack’s Commercial X22i will keep you motivated and quite literally on track with its trainer-led iFIT workouts and 22″ smart HD touchscreen.
ProForm’s Carbon TLX is equally as immersive, with interactive training sessions through cities, trails, and studio classes to help keep you stimulated.
If you’re on a budget, though, fear not – there are plenty of options for those looking to shell out a bit less.
We’ve listed a couple of budget-friendly options below, so make sure to check them out.
How much do treadmills cost?
You can pick up a cheap, foldable treadmill for around £100 if you’re budget-conscious.
If you spend around £300, you’ll get more choice of design and features, like a smartphone connection.
On average, the majority of treadmills fetch around £400 – a reasonable amount that will get you all the gadgets and gizmos, a foldable and compact design, and still help you on your fitness journey without breaking the bank.
High-end treadmills are around £500-£3,000, with a huge choice of designs, brands, sizes, and features within that range.
It really depends on what you need from your treadmill, how often you’ll use it, how much space you have, and whether it’s worth making that bigger investment.
There is also a £39 monthly fee for membership and access to the Peloton app and classes.
Shoppers who purchase a Peloton treadmill will also receive free delivery and installation to a room of their choice.
Peloton also offers several deals to help shoppers save.
For example, you’ll save £55 when you purchase the Tread Ultimate Set, which includes dumbbells in four different weights, a workout mat, and a water bottle.
Finance options are also available to take the sting out of paying the total sum in one fell swoop.
It features a 10” Class HD Touchscreen, Bluetooth audio connectivity, adjustable speed and incline levels ranging up to 12.4 MPH and 12.5, and, best of all, it folds away easily.
There are plenty of foldable treadmills available from various online retailers, so be sure to shop around.
Is Black Friday a good time to buy a treadmill?
Yes, Black Friday is a fantastic time to invest in a treadmill, especially if you’re hoping to score significant savings on premium models.
Major retailers like Amazon, Argos, and John Lewis stock several models to suit all fitness needs and budgets, and during Black Friday, many of them are heavily discounted.
Whether you’re searching for a foldable treadmill to maximise storage or a machine that features a smart display to monitor your progress, there are plenty of options up for grabs in the Black Friday sales.
We’ve listed several retailers worth checking out above, so make sure to take a look at the deals and discounts they’re offering this November.
What is the best treadmill on a budget?
For those on the hunt for a budget-friendly treadmill, Amazon has an array of offers you won’t want to miss.
The major retailer is also treating bargain hunters to an incredible price drop on the Treadmill Walking Pad Running Machine, which has been slashed by a staggering 75%.
It’s now scanning at the checkout for just £149.99, down from £599.99.
Both machines effectively boost your workouts, fold down when not needed, and are ideal choices for at-home fitness routines.

What retailers are taking part in Black Friday this year?
Expect wall-to-wall Black Friday vacuum deals from Amazon, Currys, Argos, John Lewis, and AO, as well as direct offers from Dyson, Shark, and Miele.
We are expecting exceptional Black Friday promotions on vacuum cleaners, exciting deals on Dyson vacuums, competitive offers on Shark vacuum cleaners, and smart deals on vacuum bags, filters, and bundles, as well as much more.
Since stock for premium selections tends to sell out quickly, set alerts and be prepared to check out swiftly.
What vacuum cleaner deals can we expect in the Black Friday 2025 sale?
Retailers are lining up cordless vacuum deals, Black Friday robot vacuum deals and sharp handheld vacuum deals across November.
Watch for exclusive Dyson Black Friday vacuum deals and brand-direct Shark drops, plus retailer bundles with extra heads and pet tools.
What vacuum cleaner deals went live on Black Friday 2024?
Last year, Dyson and Shark led the way with some of the deepest discounts, while robot models surged thanks to the introduction of mapping and self-emptying features, which received significant price cuts.
Cordless sticks were the hot ticket, and bundles with pet tools sold out first.
Expect similar patterns in 2025: quick sellouts on hero models, competitive price matching, and fresh waves of stock arriving over the weekend.
Plan for fast decisions on top specs and colours.
When is Cyber Monday 2025, and are vacuum cleaner retailers taking part?
It’s the finale to the weekend, often with new promos or deeper cuts rather than just leftovers.
You can follow our deals stream at our Cyber Monday hub, and expect second-chance drops on things like Dyson Black Friday vacuum deals, Black Friday Shark vacuum deals and Miele vacuum deals across major retailers and brand sites.
How much does vacuum cleaner shipping cost?
Most big retailers offer free standard delivery once you cross a low threshold (which vacuums usually do).
Expect optional upgrades—such as next-day, weekend, or timed slots—for an extra fee, typically a small add-on.
Click & Collect can be the cheapest, fastest route if the stock’s local.
Members (e.g., Prime) often receive faster delivery as a standard feature.
Always compare the total price, including delivery, rather than just the product price.
More Black Friday Appliance Deals
When will the Black Friday vacuum cleaner deals start in 2025?
Early birds will see Black Friday vacuum deals in late October, with larger waves of deals through November.
Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, AO, and Currys typically ramp up their Black Friday vacuum cleaner promotions the week of Black Friday, then refresh them for Cyber Monday.
Hero models sell out within hours. If you spot a target price on Dyson or Shark early, grab it—waiting for an extra fiver off is how you miss it.
What vacuum cleaner should I buy?
Match the machine to your home.
Pets and carpets? Prioritise strong suction, anti-hair-wrap tech and motorised pet tools.
Big spaces? Consider battery life, swappable batteries, and larger bins.
Time-poor? Consider robots with reliable mapping.
On a budget or in small flats? Lightweight sticks or handheld vacuum deals shine.
What is the best cordless vacuum cleaner?
“Best” depends on the floor type, pets, and runtime needs.
Expect strong cordless vacuum deals on Shark and Dyson products during the event, as well as value contenders that undercut the competition on bundles and spare batteries.
Track attachments you’ll actually use—crevice, mini-motorised pet tools, soft rollers—so you’re comparing like-for-like across retailers.
Entry-level sticks and compact cylinders often dip further during sales events like Black Friday and Amazon Prime Day, and even premium brands occasionally offer sharp bundle promotions.
Set alerts, check warranty terms on refurbished items, and be flexible with colour to score the best price.
Which is the best robot vacuum cleaner to buy?
For most busy homes, I’d recommend the iRobot Roomba i5+: self-emptying, smart mapping technology, combined vacuuming and mopping capabilities, easy setup, and a stylish design.
After a cheaper workhorse? The Eufy Robovac G30 delivers powerful suction, whisper-quiet operation, and impressive battery stamina.
Prioritise LiDAR mapping, auto-empty docks, and low profiles if you’ve got pet hair, high-traffic hallways and sofa legs to dodge.
Watch for Black Friday bundles with spare brushes and filters—often the smarter buy than chasing headline suction numbers.
Should I wait for Black Friday to buy a vacuum?
If you can wait, it’s worth it: Black Friday vacuum deals are typically the best of the year, particularly for brands like Dyson and Shark.
However, the best prices can sometimes appear early, as early as late October.
If you spot a deal that reaches a genuine low, don’t hesitate to take advantage of it.
Also, keep an eye on Black Friday robot vacuum deals and handheld vacuum deals, and set alerts so you don’t miss out on any offerings.
Is it better to buy a vacuum cleaner on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?
If you want the best shot at a flagship Dyson/Shark at a record price, Black Friday typically wins on big‑ticket discounts and stock breadth across retailers.
Cyber Monday is no afterthought: online‑only promos often appear, and some deals deepen—particularly on smart/robot vacs and bundles.
My rule: set a target price, track early, and buy the moment it hits during Black Friday—don’t wait and risk sellouts.
If it doesn’t drop, watch Cyber Monday for a second swing.

It comes with a bonus £100 – but only until October 8, 2025.
If you buy the new iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, or iPhone 17 Pro Max on a pay-monthly plan, you’ll get an extra £100 if you recycle your existing mobile.
That’s in addition to the regular trade-in value of your phone.
It’s a special promotion on the O2 Recycle scheme, and you can only claim the deal once.
You don’t get the money in cash – but it’ll be credited to your plan.
So effectively, it’s a £100 discount on the amount you would’ve plaid.

AMAZON PRIME GAMES
There are loads of Amazon Prime freebies that will vanish before the year is out.

Amazon serves up free video games to Prime members every single month – but claim this year’s lot before they disappearCredit: Amazon
Amazon runs a special scheme for Prime members called Prime Gaming.
Every month, Amazon will dish out a selection of free games that you can keep forever.
Usually the monthly haul is worth hundreds of pounds, so it’s not bad at all.
The games drop in waves every single Thursday, and by the end of the month, the full batch is available.
HOW MUCH DOES AMAZON PRIME COST?
Here’s a breakdown of all the pricing options…
Prime monthly (£8.99 monthly) – £107.88 a year
Prime annual – £95 a year
Prime Video (£5.99 monthly) – £71.88 a year
Prime 18-22/student (£4.49 monthly) – £53.88 a year
Prime 18-22/student annual – £47.49 a year
Prime 18-22/student monthly + 6-month free trial – £26.94 for first year
Prime 18-22/student annual + 6-month free trial – £23.75 for first year
But the games are only available for a month before they vanish from Amazon’s freebie list.
So you need to claim them before they disappear.
If you’re savvy, you’ll collect them all. You can bag September’s lot, and then get the October, November, and December offerings too.
You’ll probably end up with more than £1,000 in games from a four-month run.
But if you miss any of them then you’ll be too late – they’re then gone for good.
So make sure you’re hot on checking for the freebies each month. You can find them here at the Prime Gaming website.
Just note that you’ll need to have an active Amazon Prime membership to claim the games.

The compact charger packs a hefty 10,000mAh capacity into a device that weighs just 220g, keeping your phone powered all day without feeling like lugging around a brick.
It uses magnetic suction technology to grip firmly to the back of your iPhone, creating a seamless MagSafe connection that makes charging on the move feel effortless.
Compatible with Apple’s latest line-up from iPhone 12 through to the just-dropped iPhone 17, it’s built to snap on securely even if you’re using a magnetic case.
The Gxorul charger doesn’t just look slick, it’s fast too, with USB-C and USB-A ports capable of powering devices up to 55% in just half an hour.
Better still, you can charge three gadgets at once thanks to its combination of wireless charging, USB-C, and USB-A outputs, making it the perfect travel or commute addition.
There’s also a handy LED display that shows your remaining battery level and lights up with a green fast-charge logo, so you’re never left guessing.
It has a handy built-in stand, so you can prop up your phone at a 60-degree angle, ideal for video calls and catch-ups while your device gets a boost.
Portable enough to slip into your bag and airline-friendly at 38.5Wh, it’s a smart buy for workdays, weekends away, and even long-haul flights.
Shoppers are giving the Gxorul a near-perfect 4.8 out of 5-star rating on Amazon, which tells you everything you need to know about just how well it delivers.
Amazon buyers have been quick to praise its mix of muscle and portability, with one calling it “a powerful thing despite its diminutive size” and hailing it as “powerful and fast.”
Another reviewer noted, “The MagSafe connection is strong and the LED display makes it easy to track power.
“The 10,000mAh capacity easily gives my iPhone multiple charges, and the 22.5W fast charging is noticeably quick.”
A third impressed shopper summed it up perfectly: “Brilliantly designed magnetic wireless charging that grips and fits onto the back of the phone perfectly, even with a normal case on it.
This isn’t the only deal I spotted with serious savings.
BLACK FRIDAY has long been the moment to score serious savings on Apple’s handsets, and this year looks no different.
The timing is especially sharp; Apple’s latest iPhone launch has nudged prices down across the range, and we’re already seeing early iPhone 16 Black Friday deals.
1
The annual Black Friday sale is the ideal time to save on Apple’s handsets
The timing is especially sharp; Apple’s latest iPhone launch nudges prices down.
For anyone eyeing an upgrade, this is a smart window to start watching the sales.
Retailers tend to slash prices on premium tech throughout November, and while Apple rarely leads with markdowns, there are tried-and-true places to find them.
The recent flagship release adds an extra twist: older models are dropping in price at the same time seasonal Black Friday promotions begin.
That combination makes the iPhone 16 a particularly attractive buy.
But if you’re hoping to save on the 16, we’ll be tracking the best Black Friday deals on the iPhone 16 right here, so it’s worth keeping this page bookmarked.
Below, you’ll find the early deals we’ve spotted, plus a look back at last year’s discounts.
Apple iPhone 16 review
The Sun’s Senior Tech Editor, Sean Keach, reviewed the Apple iPhone 16 series when it launched last year, and this is his verdict…
Pros:
New Camera Control button makes snapping quick
Action Button adds handy custom shortcuts
Faster A18 chip improves speed and photos
Big battery life boost
Fresh colour choices
Cons:
May feel like a modest step up if you have a recent model
Rating: 10/10
I’ve been trying out Apple’s new line of iPhones.
There’s the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, and the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max.
All of them get a new Camera Control button for quick access to the clever snapping feature. Taking photos has never been easier.
And the regular iPhone 16s are upgraded with the Pro’s Action Button, which I’m using to identify songs with Shazam – but you might want to set it up to translate foreign languages, or just turn the torch on.
There are loads of new colours for both models. My favourite is Teal on the iPhone 16, and Desert Titanium on the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Powerful new A18 processors make photos look better, and battery life gets huge gains. Video playback hits a whopping 33 hours on the iPhone 16 Pro Max. I can’t run it down.
That’s my favourite model, also in part thanks to its giant 6.9-inch screen.
But I think the iPhone 16 is now so good that most people will get on just fine with it.
When is Black Friday 2025?
November 28, 2025, is the date to know, but you can expect deals to land earlier in the month, with the best reserved for the big day.
The sale always falls on the day after Thanksgiving, as per the American tradition.
But while it may have begun over in the States, Black Friday has now snowballed into one of the biggest events across the world.
Apple doesn’t tend to discount its tech, and the brand doesn’t join in Black Friday shenanigans.
So third-party retailers are your best bet, and often where you’ll find the biggest discounts on Apple products during the sale period.
The likes of Argos, Amazon, John Lewis, and Currys will almost certainly have offers to jump on, as well as mobile phone network providers.
We’ll handle the hard work for you by updating this page with the best discounts as soon as they drop.
So, keep checking back to snap up a bargain.
What to expect from Apple’s Black Friday sale 2025
This Black Friday, we’re expecting to see some deals on the iPhone 16, although the discounts may not be major.
If you’re shopping with big savings in mind and aren’t fussed about having the absolute latest features, it’s a smart idea to search for deals on older models like the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro.
The iPhone 15 will continue to be supported by Apple until at least 2028.

When is Cyber Monday 2025 and is Apple taking part?
This year, Cyber Monday takes place on Monday, December 1.
Back when Black Friday was a bigger brick-and-mortar event, Cyber Monday was reserved as an exclusive online-only event.
These days, things have moved on, and the day is more of an extension to the month-long event, with pretty similar deals across the board.
That’s not to say there are no surprises, but where iPhones are concerned, the deals will only last as long as the stock does, so with hot ticket items like this, it pays to snag them early.
While Apple doesn’t typically offer direct discounts on its products during Cyber Monday, plenty of other retailers do.
We’ve listed several UK retailers below, so make sure to check them out.
How much does Apple’s shipping cost?
Apple offers free standard shipping for all online orders in the UK.
That said, if you’re shopping for a bargain, you likely won’t be shopping there.
So, the shipping costs will vary from retailer to retailer.
To avoid any surprises, check your chosen retailer’s shipping costs before checking out.
Does Apple offer any other discounts?
If you are shopping with Apple directly, there are a few types of discounts offered.
First, there are discounts for students, teachers, and educational staff, which are available through Apple’s education store.
This typically includes savings on Macs, iPads, and accessories, along with discounts on AppleCare and Apple Music subscriptions.
There’s also a trade-in programme that allows you to trade in eligible devices for credit toward a new purchase or an Apple Store Gift Card.
Plus, you can check out the certified refurbished products page, which features discounted items that have been tested and come with a full warranty, often making them a cost-effective option.
For more information on refurbished devices, visit our refurbished tech guide.
Which retailers have the best Black Friday iPhone 16 deals in the UK?
As Apple is one of the most well-known brands worldwide, many major UK network providers and retailers will be selling the smartphone.
If you want to land the best deals, check out the sites listed below.

The design is ultra-portable, slimmer than a centimetre thick, weighing only 109g, and about two-thirds the size of a phone.
Despite the compact body, it carries a 5000mAh capacity, enough to comfortably get most people through a day without scrambling for a wall socket.
The big sell here is the strong magnetic connection, engineered with a grip force that snaps securely to your iPhone.
There’s no button-pressing or fiddling around; the Dbasne charger attaches instantly and starts charging automatically.
Wireless charging gets you from zero to around 55% in just half an hour on iPhone 12 through 16 series.
While the USB-C outport is there if you prefer a wired boost, pushing you up to 70% in the same time.
It’s a fast and fuss-free option, and reliable enough for daily use or travel.
It also comes with built-in protections against overheating, overcharging, and voltage spikes, giving peace of mind.
Another clever touch is the retractable lanyard cable, which doubles as a charging cord.
It cuts out clutter and keeps the charger close at hand, whether you’re commuting, at the office, or heading out away from a wall charger.
While I’m impressed by the design and value, it’s not just me taking notice.
Shoppers themselves have given it a rare 5-out-of-5-star rating with a 97% approval rate on Amazon, which is almost unheard of for a product in this category.
One buyer raved: “Small, quick, and dependable, what a lifesaver this power bank is. It is ideal for everyday usage or travel, and a phone can be charged multiple times thanks to the battery’s strong capacity.”
Another called it an “Awesome little powerbank”
They added that it’s “Lightweight, charges with cable or wireless. Quick charge, fits in small purses, besides, it’s really cute and smooth.”
A third praised its longevity: “Reliable and powerful. The battery lasts a surprisingly long time.”
“I can use it for multiple charges without recharging the power bank itself. It’s perfect for travel, busy days out.”
This isn’t the only tech deal I’ve had my eyes on of late.
While we in the Sun Shopping team haven’t tested this car device ourselves, it comes with a wide range of features that are pretty impressive-looking for that low price.
It’s also gathered some rave reviews from happy drivers on Amazon.
It’s a 7-inch HD touchscreen that’s super easy to install: you just plug it into your car’s power outlet (it works with any 12-24V socket) and use either the suction cup or the base stand it comes with.
The screen itself is really sharp and clear.
It has a built-in speaker, but for a better sound experience, you can connect it to your car’s stereo using Bluetooth, an AUX cable, or by matching the FM radio frequency.
It works seamlessly with both iPhone and Android phones, so everyone can use it.
Basically, this gadget allows you to:
Connect wirelessly: Use wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto by connecting your phone via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
Get real-time navigation: Send smart GPS navigation software, like Google Maps, from your phone directly on the screen.
Control with your voice: Use Siri or Android voice assistants to make calls, send messages, and control your music hands-free.
Mirror your phone: Cast your iPhone or Android screen to the large 7-inch display to watch videos or stream sports games.
Enjoy powerful audio: Play music through the device’s built-in speaker or connect to your car’s speakers for a richer sound.
One happy customer wrote: “Good, affordable and works perfectly.
“I bought this because it was affordable and I was curious to see how it would work in my car with navigation… I have to say, it performs much better than I expected.
“The screen size is just right, and installation was simple.
“I’d definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a budget-friendly CarPlay option.”
Another buyer said: “Great CarPlay screen. Easy to fix to the dashboard and set up either wired or Bluetooth with phone.
Works really well with iPhone. Really good clear display and plays music well. Touchscreen is good and great for maps.”
And a third customer noted: “Fantastic price, great for using Maps to navigate.
“Android screen mirroring works perfectly, brilliant for Netflix or Spotify.”
Amazon has this marked as the ‘lowest price in 30 days’, so we’re not sure if it’s a temporary deal or if the price is going to stay like this for a while.
And one final note: while you might be able to cast video to the device’s screen, please drive carefully, folks. Keep those eyes on the road.
Aonerex Car Stereo, £36.99 (was £45.99)
Head to The Sun’s shopping motoring hub for more news and deals for car owners.
AMAZON has just slashed the price on a pair of wireless earbuds that shoppers are loving.
Right now, the Cillso H97 Wireless Earbuds are reduced from £129.99 to just £20.99, a huge 84% saving.
1
These noise-cancelling buds have a perfect track record with shoppersCredit: Amazon
Cillso H97 Wireless Earbuds, £129.99 £20.99 on Amazon
These pocket-sized earbuds are packed with features you’d normally expect from big-name brands with triple the price tag.
The sound profile is a real crowd-pleaser, powered by 14mm drivers that deliver solid bass with oomph up to 90dB.
And thanks to ENC noise-cancelling tech, background distractions fade away, leaving you with clear music and clear calls.
While ENC isn’t quite as advanced as ANC, it is designed to make calls clearer, rather than blanketly blocking out all ambient noise.
The Cillso buds are also built for everyday life, boasting an IP7 waterproof rating that shrugs off sweat, rain and gym sessions.
You get smart touch controls to skip tracks, answer calls or adjust volume with a tap, much like pricer models from Apple.
But, unlike Apple’s offering, the Cillso H97 buds feature a dual LED display that shows exactly how much battery you have left.
Speaking of battery, these little earbuds clock in at around six to eight hours of listening per charge, with the case boosting that to a massive 40 hours, plus fast USB-C charging when it’s time to top up.
Shoppers on Amazon have been won over, with an almost-perfect 4.9-star average rating and 95% of reviewers handing them a full five stars.
One thrilled buyer wrote: “Absolutely fantastic sound! I was going to splash out on AirPods, so glad I didn’t, these are THE best headphones I’ve ever had.”
Another raved: “The sound quality is excellent, clear, crisp audio with surprisingly deep bass for earbuds in this price range.
The same shopper continued, “The noise-cancelling feature works really well, blocking out background noise during calls and when listening to music.”
A third said: “The battery display counted down remaining hours and achieved a full day of playback before recharge.”
With feedback like that, it’s no wonder these are quickly becoming one of Amazon’s most popular budget audio buys.
The Cillso Wireless Earbuds are still in stock at the time of writing, but at £20.99, it’s easy to see why shoppers are snapping them up.
I’ve also spotted a few other Amazon steals this month that are well worth a look.
By contrast, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is the brand’s reigning monarch of smartphones.
Here, it’s bundled with a brand-new Samsung Chromebook Go, AND a set of noise-cancelling earphones.
Best of all, you’re getting the best of everything, all on one simple monthly plan on the iD Mobile network.
Prices for these pay-monthly plans can vary, as is standard practice.
As you’d probably imagine, the more you pay upfront, the lower your monthly bill will be, giving you flexibility to choose a plan that suits your budget.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: Pay-monthly plans from iD Mobile
The flagship S25 Ultra is available on contract from iD Mobile.
Prices for these pay-monthly plans vary, as is standard practice – the more you pay upfront, the lower your monthly bill will be.

You’ll find cheaper phones elsewhere, that’s for sure, but the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is a beast, plain and simple.
This top-end Android handset has all the latest tech, including some clever AI stuff, and a camera that’s in a league of its own.
The screen is a huge 6.9-inch beauty that’s so bright and clear it’ll make everything look amazing.
The main lens is a massive 200MP, so your photos will be sharp as a tack, and the huge 5,000mAh battery will keep you going all day long without needing a charge.
Jamie Harris, The Sun’s Assistant Tech Editor, got his hands on this top-of-the-range mobile.
In his Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra review, he notes that while “all phone makers are making noise about AI,” Samsung’s new features are positioned as a “companion” to make daily life genuinely easier.
Harris praises the phone’s physical design, stating, “The first thing I’ve noticed this time around is how much lighter it is – literally, so much lighter.”
And then of course there’s that Chromebook, which runs on Google Chrome OS and is the perfect little workhouse for browsing, admin tasks and streaming.
The best bit is that you get both of these bits of kit on a single, easy-to-manage contract.
Motorists are flocking to Amazon to get their hands on a smart bit of car kit that’s seen a dramatic tumble in price.
The gadget is the second-generation Echo Auto, and it’s been picking up some proper rave reviews from blokes and lasses who have snapped it up.
1
The Echo Auto will introduce hands-free Alexa control to your car
Amazon Echo Auto (2nd gen), £19.99 (was £59.99)
Originally fetching a hefty £59.99, the nifty Echo Auto is currently on sale for just £19.99 on Amazon.
That’s a cracking deal and a perfect time for anyone looking to introduce some smart tech into their motor – and crucially, without splashing out a fortune.
This little gizmo is designed to be your co-pilot, letting you command Alexa while you’re busy at the wheel.
Hands-free control: You can talk to Alexa to play music, make calls, or set reminders without ever touching your phone.
Navigation: Get directions from apps like Google Maps just by asking Alexa where you want to go.
Play music: Listen to your favourite songs and podcasts from services like Spotify or Amazon Music.
Smart home control: You can ask Alexa to turn on your house lights or adjust the heat while you are driving home.
Hear your voice: It has special microphones that can hear you clearly over car noise, like the radio or air conditioner.
The 2nd-gen Echo Auto is a small and discreet piece of kit that slots right into your car.
It hooks up to your phone and your car’s speakers to bring a whole new level of voice control to your ride.
Getting it all set up is a doddle too. You just plug it into a spare USB slot, link it to your phone’s Alexa app, and you’re sorted.
This brilliant bit of kit has an average rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars on Amazon, with thousands of happy drivers raving about how it’s transformed their motors.
One buzzing punter, who slapped a 5-star rating on it, wrote: “Highly recommend this. Works in my 23-year-old Nissan Micra.
“Voice activated, can listen to a music playlist or podcasts, can make hands-free calls, listen to LBC, etc. Works brilliantly.”
Another shopper commented: “Works seamlessly… very useful as just a Bluetooth pass through to car speakers.”
Another chuffed buyer said: “Great piece of tech, [I] love Alexa at home.
“Now she comes on the road with us and, unlike my phone, she hears very well and plays whatever I want. Terrific.”
A proper ringing endorsement came from a verified customer who simply put: “This is an amazing piece of kit, highly recommend.”
Whether you want to listen to tunes, get directions, or just stay connected on the go, the Auto is a simple and cheap way to do it.
At that sale price, it’s a bit of a no-brainer.

AMAZON has cut the price of a heavyweight charging essential, and it’s proving popular.
The Ohoviv Fast Charging Power Bank usually retails for £139.99, but is now just £25.99.

This top-rated portable charger has been cut by 81%Credit: Amazon
Ohoviv Fast Charging Power Bank, £139.99 £25.99
That’s a huge 81% off, and this isn’t just any old backup charger.
With a mammoth 26,800mAh capacity, the Ohoviv Power Bank is built to keep your devices alive for days on end.
It supports 22.5W fast charging via USB-A and 20W via Type-C, so the latest iPhone 16 can climb to 50% in just half an hour.
That’s serious power in your pocket, with enough ports to charge three devices at once, so you can top up your phone, the kids’ tablet, or your earbuds simultaneously.
Despite all that muscle, the Ohoviv remains surprisingly practical, with a bright LED display that shows you exactly how much juice is left in the tank.
Built-in safety features keep voltage, current, and temperature under control, so your phone stays protected.
Amazon reviewers have been quick to sing its praises, with one shopper raving: “It charges my iPhone 15 and my partner’s Galaxy phone incredibly fast.
They continued, “I love that I can charge two devices at once. Despite its powerful capacity, it’s lightweight and compact.”
Another added, “Easy to carry as it’s not heavy, and doesn’t overheat when in use it. I love the screen that shows its battery life and the overall design.”
While a third wrote, “Good capacity, lasted well and charged my phone for 3 nights without needing recharging.”
It’s little wonder the Ohoviv has racked up a near-perfect 4.9 out of 5-star average rating, with more than 500 units sold in the past month alone.
But it’s not the first time we’ve seen a steal like this.
MILLIONS of us subscribe to Amazon Prime – but is it worth it? We take a look at what you get and how many deliveries you need to justify the fee – and how to get a discount.
You can sign up toAmazon Prime for free for 30-days or an annual membership costs £95 a year or £8.99 a month.

Its most famous perk is free and fast deliveries and access to Prime Video – but there are lots of extra such as discounts on cinema trips.
You can pay for Prime Video-only for £5.99 a month – but this doesn’t include any of the other extras.
Exact amount of orders you need to make Prime worth it
To justify the £95 annual fee for Prime, you need to save at least that amount on delivery costs and other benefits.
How easy that will be depends on what services you use.
For instance, Prime Video only costs £71.88 a year, so you only need to save £23.12 in delivery fees all year, to make the upgrade to Prime worth it.
But if you’re just signing up for the free delivery, then it’s harder.
For non-members, Amazon charges different rates depending on your basket value and delivery speed.
Here’s what it really costs without Prime, and how often you’d need to order to break even.
Standard Delivery (3–5 days):
Amazon ‘hiking’ prices ahead of Prime Day after shoppers claim company ‘great savings’ aren’t real
Free if you spend £35 or more (or £10+ on books). If you spend less, charges are £4.99 for most items, but just £3.99 for book-only orders under £10.
To break even:
19 smaller orders per year at £4.99
24 book-only orders at £3.99
One-Day or Premium Delivery
Costs £4.99 per order for non-members
To break even:
Same-Day or Overnight Delivery
Costs £5.99 per order for non-members. Prime members get it free on orders over £20, or pay £1.99 for smaller baskets.
To break even:
16 orders per year at £5.99
Pickup Location (Locker or Amazon Hub)
Costs £2.99 per order for non-members, but free for Prime members.
To break even:
32 pickup deliveries per year
How to get a discount
Almost anyone can start with a 30-day free trial, which gives access to every Prime benefit.
If your last trial was over a year ago, you can usually sign up again.
To get the freebie, click “Try Prime” and follow the steps outlined. You’ll need to add a payment method, but you won’t be charged unless you stay on past the trial period.
Each adult in your household can do this separately, meaning couples can effectively get two months free between them as long as they use separate email accounts.
If you’re a student or aged 18 to 22, you can get a six-month free trial, followed by half-price Prime for up to four years or until you turn 23.
To claim, visit amazon.co.uk/joinstudent or amazon.co.uk/18-22 and upload proof of eligibility, such as a university email or government-issued ID.
However, students that cancel during the trial and come back later, don’t get another freebie, only the discounted rate.

COMMON PRIME DAY MISTAKES
Katy Phillips, senior brand and communication manager at idealo shares with Sun readers three common Prime Day mistakes
1. Buying something just because its discounted
An obvious rule that is often forgotten about is only buying something you actually need. Over half (59%) of those polled by idealo admitted that they ended up with a product they didn’t want after Prime Day last year.
Just because things are on sale, doesn’t mean you need to buy it! Keep a strict list if there are things you need. Nearly everything on the website will be marked as a ‘prime day deal’ regardless of whether the price has changed.
2. Not doing your research
A whopping 80% of Brits say they never price compare when shopping sale events but experts are urging everyone to spend more researching products before making a purchase.
Before you buy anything on Prime Day, make sure you compare prices elsewhere. Look on price comparison websites to see if it’s cheaper elsewhere and utilise price alerts where possible. These will send you notifications each time a product reaches its lowest price.
3. Not recognising scams
Each year a new scam will arrive just in time for Prime Day, ready to catch shoppers out. A common one includes hoax emails from the Amazon ‘Support Team’ were a new tactic used by criminals to steal people’s personal information.
If you see any emails or offers boasting £50 free to spend on Prime Day – they won’t be real. Make sure you’re on the real Amazon website also, as there may be links that take you to a site that looks similar to Amazon but isn’t the real thing.
13. Amazon Family sharing
Share Prime with one other adult and up to four children. You’ll each have your own account, but share perks like Prime Video, Reading, and Photos.
To set it up, go to “Accounts & Lists > Your Amazon Family” and add adult or child members.
Value: £95/year saved if splitting the cost of one full membership between two adults
14. Parental controls
Set up profiles for each child, limit screen time, and manage what they can access through the Amazon Kids Parent Dashboard. Works across Fire tablets and Kindle devices.
To access, go to parents.amazon.co.uk.
15. Buy Now with Prime
Use Prime benefits with the “Buy Now” button by setting your default delivery address, payment method, and delivery speed in your purchase preferences.
Useful for quick checkouts, though not available to PO Boxes or some business addresses.
HOW TO CANCEL YOUR PRIME SUBSCRIPTION
To cancel, go to “Your Prime Membership”, select “Manage”, then “Update, Cancel and More”.
If you haven’t used any benefits, you’ll get a full refund. If you’ve only used delivery, you may be eligible for a partial refund.
If you signed up via the Android Amazon app, you’ll need to cancel through Google Subscriptions.
Granted, Jumper might not be a household name, which explains the handful of reviews.
But, with a perfect 5-star rating, it’s clear it’s something of a hidden gem.
You get 4GB of high-speed RAM, 128GB storage and a 512GB TF card expansion.
That’s plenty of room to run multiple programmes without your laptop sounding like it’s about to take off.
For students, that means jumping between research tabs, lecture slides and last-minute essays without the dreaded lag.
Better still, it comes with a one-year pre-installed Office 365 subscription (worth £89.99).
That’s Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook all included, so you can get stuck into coursework from day one, with no faffing over extra downloads or hidden costs.
The 15.6-inch screen is a decent size at this price point; big enough for comfortable working and perfect for streaming your favourite shows after class.
One reviewer raves: “I was a bit sceptical about buying a laptop from a brand I wasn’t familiar with, but I’m so glad I took the chance
The same shopper continued, “This is a powerhouse for everyday use and an incredible value.”
Another parent wrote: “Gave it to my son for university activities. Speedy and reliable.”
At just 3.6 lbs, it’s light enough to slip into your tote or backpack without putting your back out.
And you won’t be tethered to a wall socket either. The 5,000mAh battery typically lasts six to eight hours, so you can work through lectures and still have juice left for Netflix.
One shopper summed it up perfectly: “It is light enough to carry around all day and the battery easily lasts for hours.”
It’s also kitted out with multi-functional ports, including Type-C, USB 3.0, Mini HDMI, and a headphone jack.
If you’re heading off to uni, pair it with one of the best extension leads I’ve tested to give your dorm a few extra ports.

SMARTY’s latest offer hands you a massive data boost for no extra cash.
Right now, you can bag 24GB of data for only £7 a month, the same price you’d normally pay for just 8GB.

This bargain data deal triples your dataCredit: Smarty
Smarty SIM-only deal, 8GB 24GB data for £7/month
That’s triple the data without spending a penny extra.
It’s Smarty’s latest push to give shoppers more for their money, and frankly, it’s a pretty solid offer.
If you’re after enough data to stream Spotify, scroll socials, and cover your everyday browsing on the go, this plan has you well covered.
You’re on a low, flat monthly fee with no sneaky mid-contract price hikes lurking in the small print.
And because Smarty runs on rolling 1-month contracts, you can walk away whenever you like, no strings attached.
That kind of freedom is a big part of why Smarty has built such a loyal following among budget-conscious shoppers..
The service rides on Three’s network, which already offers solid coverage across most of the UK.
To be sure, you can double-check your signal with Smarty’s handy coverage checker before you sign up.
There are a few tempting offers on the table right now, but the standout is the 8GB SIM-only plan, currently boosted to a chunky 24GB for just £7 a month.
That’s not bad at all when you consider some providers will happily charge you twice as much for a fraction of the allowance.
Best SIM-only Smarty deals:
If 24GB isn’t enough, you’ll find other plans going up to unlimited data, still at budget rates.
Here are some of the best:
But for light-to-moderate users, the triple-data offer is hard to beat.
And with no contract tie-in, you can switch, upgrade, or leave whenever you fancy.
If you’re also hunting for other tech savings, there are a couple of standouts doing the rounds this week.
You can boost your online security and save 72% on NordVPN, and they’re throwing in a free Amazon gift card worth £50 just for signing up.
And for those who want a new handset without the big spend, there’s an ‘excellent condition’ refurbished iPhone 13 going for just £20 a month.
If these deals don’t quite fit the bill, have a look at our roundup of the best SIM-only deals from all the big networks.
SMART doorbells are everywhere, but Eufy’s latest model is one of the best out there.
In this Eufy E340 video doorbell review, I’ve put it to the test so you get the real insight into what it’s like to live with.
The E340 is Eufy’s latest video doorbellCredit: Tom Tyers
Eufy E340 Video Doorbell, £159.99 £109.99 at Amazon
I’ve tested plenty of smart home devices, and video doorbells have become some of the most popular.
But too many lock you into pricey subscriptions or offer poor video quality that feels like a glorified buzzer.
Thankfully, the Eufy E340 is one of the best video doorbells I’ve tried, packed with features that work, and no monthly fees for the pleasure.
Eufy launched back in 2016 as part of Chinese tech giant Anker, and has quickly built a solid reputation in home security.
The E340 arrived in 2024, adding to Eufy’s already impressive lineup of smart doorbells.
It features dual cameras, colour night vision, smart motion detection, and built-in local storage; genuinely smart tech that delivers on its promises.
While it’s not the first doorbell I’ve tested with these features — the Ezviz EP3x Pro I reviewed comes close and even adds solar power —the E340 still manages to stand out.
Read on for my full thoughts on how the E340 performs in real life.
How I tested

Eufy E340 Video Doorbell, £159.99 £109.99 at Amazon
I’ve tested my fair share of smart doorbells, from Ring and Tapo to budget buys, so I’ve got a pretty good feel for what’s worth your money.
For the past couple of months, the Eufy E340 has been stationed on my front porch, which sees a steady stream of parcels and visitors.
It’s had to brave typical UK weather, deal with delivery drivers, and keep up with the comings and goings of a busy family home.
I tried it in all sorts of conditions, day and night, rain and shine, using the Eufy app for alerts to see how well it performs.
After having it watch over my front door for a while, I have to say I’m impressed.
Eufy E340 review: Quickfire Q&A
How much is it? The Eufy E340 will cost you around £160 on its own, or £320 with the HomeBase S380 bundle. It’s a pricey investment upfront, but it’s a one-off cost with no sneaky monthly fees.
Who’s it best for? Anyone serious about home security who’s done with subscription traps and wants to monitor comings and goings.
What we loved: With sharp video and dual cameras for solid coverage, this feels more like a serious security cam. And there are no ongoing charges.
What we didn’t: It’s not the most discreet and not exactly cheap, but sometimes you have to pay for peace of mind.
The Nitty-Gritty
First impressions

Setup is straightforward and painlessCredit: Tom Tyers
Eufy E340 Video Doorbell, £159.99 £109.99 at Amazon
I expected a solid smart doorbell, but the Eufy E340 felt more like a mini security system.
It’s bigger than most doorbells I’ve tried, thanks to having two cameras stacked vertically.
In the box, you get the E340 unit itself, a mounting kit, a charging cable, and some straightforward setup instructions.
The build feels premium and sturdy. It inspires confidence, unlike some others that just come off cheap and plasticky.
Setting it up was fairly easy. You start by mounting the bracket, then the doorbell just snaps right into place.
It comes with a small security key to remove the unit to charge, which is smart, but you’ll want to keep that key safe; it’s tiny and easy to lose.
Once I downloaded the Eufy app, the rest was a breeze. Just follow the on-screen steps, and you’re up and running in no time.
If you’re going fully wired, there’s a bit more faff involved, but with my battery-powered setup, things were a lot simpler.
Does it deliver?

It feels like a premium piece of kitCredit: Tom Tyers
Eufy E340 Video Doorbell, £159.99 £109.99 at Amazon
The Eufy E340 was smarter than I expected right out of the box, thanks to the 8GB of onboard storage built into the doorbell.
That’s enough to keep about a month’s worth of footage, depending on how busy your front door is.
You can add a HomeBase later if you want more storage, but I like that it’s an optional add-on, so there’s no extra gadgets to worry about right away.
That said, if you want the HomeBase, be ready to splash out another £159, though it’s really aimed at people who already have a wider ecosystem of Eufy gadgets.
If you just want the doorbell, it’s not a must-have, so you can skip it without missing out.
One feature I like having on hand is Delivery Guard. It doesn’t just notify you when a parcel arrives, it’ll also give you a heads-up if someone’s hanging around your doorstep so you can react.
Thankfully, I’ve not had to experience it in action, but it’s nice knowing it’s got your back.
Plus, with that second camera pointing down, I could always take a quick peek at the doorstep whenever I wanted.

The camera quality is excellentCredit: Tom Tyers

For night vision, you get two choices: a subtle but effective black-and-white IR mode, and a full-colour spotlight mode that lights up faces near your door.
The colour mode does lose a bit of clarity around the edges, but honestly, I’d much rather see who’s there in colour than grey shadows.
The Eufy app ties everything together nicely, and it’s simple to use, quick to pull up live views, and makes it easy to filter clips by date or device.
There wasn’t the two-way talk lag that I’ve experienced on other doorbells like this, so speaking through it felt a lot more natural.
6
You can use quick responses when you’re in a rushCredit: Tom Tyers
I also liked the quick-reply messages, perfect for those times when you’re busy and can’t have a proper chat but still want to get a message across.
Battery life is solid too, with its 6,500 mAh battery; Eufy says it can last up to six months.
I’ve been using mine for just under two, and I’m nowhere near needing to recharge yet, with about 70% still in the tank.
If you don’t want to worry about charging at all, you can wire it up and forget it. Sadly, I don’t have existing wiring, so that wasn’t an option for me.
It’s true, the E340 isn’t the smallest doorbell around, but it’s definitely one of the sleekest.
It packs a bunch of smart features and sharp video quality without slapping you with subscription fees, just be ready for the upfront cost.
If you want a doorbell that bolsters your home security without any sneaky costs, this one’s a strong contender.
How much is the Eufy E340?
The E340 usually costs £159.99, but right now it’s on sale for £109.99, which feels like a bargain for what you get.
You’re paying mid-to-high-end prices, but with 2K dual cameras, night vision, and local storage included, it’s great value.
Add the HomeBase S380 for another £160 if you want more storage, and the upfront cost does jump quite a bit.
That said, compared to Ring’s ongoing subscription fees for cloud storage, the Eufy starts to look like the smarter long-term deal.
Where to buy the Eufy E340
You can pick up the Eufy E340 as a standalone unit, and right now it’s on sale.
It’s available from most major UK retailers, including:
Eufy E340alternatives
6
There are alternatives if you feel the Eufy isn’t for youCredit: Tom Tyers
If the Eufy E340 isn’t quite what you’re after, there are a few solid alternatives worth considering.
The Ring Battery Doorbell Plus offers a sleeker design and sharp video, but just be ready for those subscription fees if you want full access to storage and extra features.
Then there’s the Ezviz EP3x Pro, which packs similar smart features and video quality, plus it throws in solar power for easy, hassle-free charging.
For those on a budget, the Tapo D235 is a decent option with good video and handy features, though it doesn’t have the same level of polish as the Eufy.
Eufy E340 review: The verdict
The Eufy E340 is a smart move for anyone serious about home security, packing in two cameras, crystal-clear video, and zero subscription fees.
Its quality feels more like a proper security cam, so you really get that extra peace of mind it brings.
It’s reliable, sharp, and clever enough not to drive you mad with false alarms.
It’s not the tiniest or cheapest doorbell out there, but it more than makes up for that with reliable performance and value that lasts.
If you’re done with flaky smart doorbells, this one’s a solid investment that won’t let you down.

Unlike bulkier battery packs, this one is designed with portability front and centre.
It weighs just 192g, so it’s lighter than most out there and easy to slip into a handbag, backpack, or carry-on.
With a 10000mAh capacity, it’s got more than enough power to get you through a full day, and then some.
And because it’s well under the TSA’s 27,000mAh limit, you can safely pop it in your hand luggage for a mid-flight top-up.
It’s not just the size that makes it handy. It supports 3A fast charging, twice as fast as your average power bank, so you won’t be stuck waiting forever to recharge.
It also has smart safety tech built in to protect your devices from overheating or battery damage, which is always reassuring.
There’s a USB-C IN & OUT port, a USB-A port, and a built-in USB-C cable, so you can charge three devices at once.
Whether it’s your phone, wireless earbuds, or even a mate’s device, this little power bank can handle it.
There’s also a clever little design touch: the micro cable doubles as a lanyard, so you can clip it to your bag and keep it handy while you’re out and about.
There’s no guessing games when it comes to battery life, the LED power display shows you exactly how much juice you’ve got left.
“Compact, powerful, and perfect for on-the-go,” writes one shopper. “It’s honestly become a lifesaver for my on-the-go lifestyle.”
“A solid battery pack,” says another customer. “The in-built USB-C cable is extremely convenient, snug fitting in my phone and provides a nice, fast charge. “
Another buyer writes: “The wireless charging works flawlessly with my phone… The battery level indicator is a nice touch.
Amazon’s been rolling out a string of similar deals lately, with popular picks like the TRKOY and Matast Magsafe portable chargers flying off the shelves.
