Maya Jama is a sheer delight in see-through dress and Lily Allen follows suit in mesh frock as they attend LFW party

MAYA Jama was a sheer delight in a see-through dress as she attended events as part of London Fashion Week.

The Love Island presenter stunned in a sheer look as she attended an exclusive event at London‘s Savoy Hotel.

Maya, 31, wore a sheer skin-tight gown with a feathered fishtail at the bottom of the skirt.

Her modest areas were covered by sleek black undergarments as she put on a bold display in the figure-hugging striped ensemble.

The TV presenter attended the exclusive bash that was hosted by British Vogue and Audemars Piguet to celebrate London Fashion Week.

She opted for a super glam look with a Marilyn Monroe inspired bob hairdo that was giving old Hollywood glamour.

Lily Allen also followed suit in a mesh frock as she attended the exclusive runway show.

The singer also chose a black sheer gown as she flaunted her toned midriff.

Her under padding included a thin black bandeau with a black skirt that was held together by the thin see-through material.

The Hard Out Here singer styled her hair into her signature updo as she showed off her distinctive bangs.

She opted for a metallic makeup look as she was accompanied by former Radio 1 presenter Miquita Oliver who wore a strapless gold gown.

Meanwhile, actress and former TV & radio presenter Jameela Jamil also chose black as she stunned in a strapless gown.

TV star Maya Jima offered staggering 8-figure salary by ITV to stay as Love Island host amid Netflix interest in her

The corseted floor-length dress came with stylish silver arches near her bosom area.

She wore pointed black heels as she chose a makeup look of bold eye-liner, a thick pink gloss and her black locks were styled into waves.

BRIT Award-winning star Raye also attended the event in a strapless black dress.

The bodice had looped chains that complimented her slim physique as the skirt was emblazoned with matching black ribbons.

Maya Jama will be a massive hit with viewers but can she replace iconic Rita Ora?

By Joshua Rom

IT’S CLEAR that The Masked Singer is a huge asset to the ITV schedule. From the reaction of viewers at home, it seems that the competition is the epitome of primetime Saturday night telly at it’s best.

Alongside the likes of Saturday Night Takeaway and Britain’s Got Talent, the guessing game is one of the top three entertainment shows for the broadcaster as up to seven million people tune in to watch.

When we look at the show, we have a real mix of personalities involved. Joel Dommett’s unique style as a host is carefully balanced by the sharp and witty panel of judges. We have singing star power in the form of Rita Ora, veterans of the business in the form of Davina McCall and Jonathan Ross and comedy value from Mo Gilligan.

The dynamics of the panel work perfectly as Jonathan would take sarcastic jibes at Rita as Davina and Mo would be in hysterics

Last series Rita was forced to take time of the show as she had other commitments across the pond. Huge names such as Nicole Scherzinger, Olly Murs and Jennifer Saunders took her place.

Rita’s star is only on the rise in Hollywood and she’s set to star in a new film alongside the likes of legends such as Robert De Niro and Jamie Foxx in Tin Soldier. This is alongside her marriage to Academy Award winner Taika Waititi.

Clearly not happy with a part-time panelist and a rotating roster of guest judges, ITV bosses have chosen another name to take her place as Love Island star Maya Jama will join the panel. We don’t need to be worried about Rita as she will still be on the US edition.

Maya is a clear favourite amongst telly fans as they love to see her front a show like Love Island and let’s be honest, she’s the perfect fit for it. She is stunning to watch, she’s always on-trend, and very much appeals to the young fan base that flocks to the ITV2 dating show.

But The Masked Singer is a different show on a different channel. Maya is no doubt well versed in the world of television, but she will be surrounded by stars on the panel with decades more experience on air and with more universal appeal. Rita also has huge star power thanks to all her work in the music industry with several hits under her name, something which – despite her undoubted recognition as a star presenter – Maya just does not have.

By some, this could be considered as a risky move for ITV. Especially as networks fight to retain the loyalty of viewers in an age of Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+. With such drastic replacement in the panel and the inevitable shift in dynamics, the show is clearly about to change.

She opted for neutral-toned paisley patterned shoes with ankle tassels to match her brunette bob hairdo.

In terms of accessories, the singer opted for a choker necklace and a black clutch with an arm-length chain strap.

Her bold red lip gloss was complemented by chunky black and gold earrings as she smiled for the cameras.

Also in red was chart-topping musician Maisie Peters who looked absolutely tiny in her slimming red gown.

The Good Witch hitmaker stunned in an ankle-length red lace gown with pastel coloured shoes.

She wore her signature circular rimmed glasses whilst she showed off her short blonde bob.

Love Island return?

While Maura Higgins is back on the box for her Love Island spin-off, Maya Jama has not yet renewed her contract.

The red hot Irish star, 34, squeezed into a latex dress to host America’s Love Island Games sister show Aftersun.

But back on home turf, question marks remain over whether Maya Jama will stay on as host of the dating show.

She has still not signed again with ITV to front the UK version when All Stars returns in January.

A source said: “Maya is in demand but she still enjoys presenting Love Island so everyone is hopeful contracts will be sorted soon.

“Talks have been delayed because of some logistics in Maya’s team.”

Celebs are making us cringe with their butt-flashing looks just to be ‘on trend’ – your crack isn’t ‘glam’, put it away

THE saying goes, ‘less is more’, but celebrities are taking that a little too literally as flashing thongs return.

The trend was big in the noughties with the ‘it’ girls of the day, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton, showing the tops of their G-Strings.

And TV royalty, Gillian Anderson flashed hers on the red-carpet at the Oscars in 2001 but later was killed off by fashion notoriety – along with tramp stamps.

Flashing your thongs had a resurgence in 2020 with the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian flashing their underwear, but now the trend is more than just peeking above your jeans.

It’s about basically doing a moony, but getting away with it because you’re in couture.

Last week Margot Robbie paid tribute to the late, and great, Mr Giorigio Armani who sadly passed away earlier this month by wearing one of his spring designs, a completely sheer and bejewelled dress.

At the premier of her new film, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, the 35-year-old undoubtedly looked incredible in the see-through gown with plunging back that showed she was only wearing a thong.

Just a couple of days later fellow actress Dakota Johnson, 35, wore a similar look.

A high neck, long sleeved, floor length dress made from lace that also flashed her bum in a black thong.

Her Gucci gown for a charity dinner in New York, again, looked incredible on her.

But we need to think about their consequences.

Thongs, a piece of fabric that connects from the front to the back and no more than a few centimetres thick. And that connection of fabric goes via your, erm, bum.

Olivia Attwood makes cryptic comment as she strips off to thong and bra before jetting to Vegas without husband Bradley

When it’s in black and white it sounds vulgar, and not to mention uncomfortable.

And I don’t want to see that when I’m in a bar sipping my glass of Sauvignon, because let’s face it where celebs lead – we all follow.

When you’re a Hollywood A-lister with the pristine figure good enough to better the world’s best supermodels, sure flash away – you look sensational.

But let’s not make this trend grip the nation or we’ll be faced with fleshy, droopy, white bottoms on the loose up and down the country.

Pants for a charity fundraiser? No thank you.

Clemmie Fieldsend

And if you shudder at the sight of a ‘builders bum’ then don’t, please don’t, let this trend catch on – because your Friday night in your local ‘Spoons will be overrun with bums.

And it’s not just Margot and Dakota that could lead us into the cringe fashion flop.

Actress Helen Flannagan celebrated her 35th birthday by wearing a gold dress with a thong-bodysuit underneath.

Whilst on holiday the Corrie star went for a more toned down version of the trend wearing something similar to a thong cossie under a beach dress.

Singer Dua Lipa, 30, hit the streets of New York for the Charlie Chaplin Gala this April in a beautiful black knitted dress with a fine weave that revealed her underwear.

Another modest style of the trend but nevertheless, pants for a charity fundraiser? No thank you.

Model Cara Delevingne has been at it too.

In May at the premier for the Ocean With David Attenborough documentary in London she flashed her thong, and the rest of her body all within spitting distance of our national treasure, Sir David.

Complete with plunging neckline, the 33-year-olds chainmail grown might have been a bit too risque for such an occasion and a bit too chilly.

In the same month, Britney Spears did her one of her usual dancing around on Instagram videos, but this time just in thread-bare underwear.

The 43-year-old chose to wear just her bra and knickers for the video and black leather knee high boots.

Now, I’m all for doing what you like in your own home, but maybe the rest of us don’t need to see it.

Love Island host Maya Jama was reviving the noughties trend way back in January.

For the All Stars series she headed back to the villa wearing a Norma Kamali see-though, ruched gown with off-the-shoulder straps with nothing but black underwear underneath.

With the warm temperatures of South Africa, she may have felt hot and wanted something cool to wear, and if anyone is going to look amazing in this trend it’s Maya, but let’s save it for private holidays.

For high days and holidays maybe, but come on ladies.

There’s no escaping the fact that if we copy you we’ll become the butt of every joke.

So let’s leave this trend, and cracks, in the past.

Mum finds the ‘cutest’ autumn outfit at Tesco but then spots a spelling mistake – how long did it take you to find it?

WITH the chilly season well and truly here, many retailers have been launching new autumn stock.

But it looks like Tesco might have to remove an item after one eagle-eyed mum spotted a spelling mistake on their kid’s clothing.

The error was picked up by mother-of-three Rebecca Jeffs, from Northamptonshire, who took to TikTok to tag the popular supermarket.

According to Rebbeca, who posts under the username @rebeccaanicole_x, she stumbled across an adorable autumn-themed two-piece whilst shopping at Tesco.

The cosy co-ord consisted of comfy joggers, as well as a matching cream sweatshirt with a pumpkin design.

On the front side there was a little pumpkin, as well as a sticker that said ”Look at my back”, urging customers to check out the rest of the design.

However, what the major retailer clearly didn’t realise is the spelling mistake they’d missed during the printing process.

Sharing the epic blunder on social media, the mum-of-three said in the video: ”The cutest outfit but turns out it has a mistake.

”Didn’t even notice. If anyone’s picked this up, has yours got this mistake?!” Rebecca wondered in the caption where she also tagged the retailer.

As well as having several adorable pumpkins printed on the back of the cosy sweatshirt, there was also text in a bold fond that was supposed to read as ”best little pumpkin picker”.

While at first glance the text looks absolutely fine, there is a letter missing – and dozens of social media users admitted it took them a while to spot it.

One TikToker commented: ”The dyslexia in me didn’t spot a mistake, I had to look in the comments to see what was wrong.”

”Genuinely thought for a second the mistake was it was beige and who takes there kid pumpkin picking in a beige outfit,” another joked.

A fellow mum said: ”I got this for my girl the other day i didn’t even realise.”

”What’s the mistake?” someone else was struggling to spot the missing letter.

How has Tesco’s F&F upped its game

By Fabulous’ Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend

ZARA has become a high street staple in recent years thanks to its hot-off-the-catwalk designs and affordable prices.
But recently those prices have risen with the brand’s popularity.
However, if you are looking for high fashion inspired outfits with low price tags you needn’t drag yourself to your local shops, just head to the supermarket instead.
F&F has come a long way from selling a few backs of T-shirts and fluffy dressing gowns and is now a must have shopping destination for thousands.
They produce good quality, long lasting and on trend clothes that puts others to shame.
F&F is filled with Zara dupes and other looks inspired by our favourite shops that will set you back less than £50 – and you can get them while you pick up your dinner.
I for one love F&F denim, it’s durable, fits really well and has all the best silhouettes.
So even if you’re not looking for reasonable prices but just want good clothes, get yourself to Tesco.

Are you still looking at the text and everything looks like it should?

”It says best lttle instead of best little. It took me an embarrassingly long time to work it out,” one of the 250k viewers finally figured it out.

”Maybe nobody will really notice as took a lot of us ages to realise,” a shopper joked.

Want to test your eyesight even more? Earlier this year, Primark shoppers spotted a ‘‘spelling mistake’’ on new Rita Ora top – and you can’t unsee it.

Fashion fans were also gasping as Matalan launched an £18 jumper with glaring spelling mistake.

Pencil skirts are back but this season’s twist on the trend will stop you looking like Nessa from Gavin and Stacey

THE last time I wore a pencil skirt, my brother affectionately told me I looked like Nessa Jenkins from Gavin & Stacey.

Brotherly love — always there to keep your feet firmly on the ground.

Get the look wrong, though, and you will end up looking like Nessa from Gavin & StaceyCredit: BBC

But, sadly, he was right.

My black, knee-length leather skirt and then short brown hair did make me look like the Welsh slot machine worker, minus the tattoos

Despite my affection for the show and actress Ruth Jones, who plays Nessa, the comment was enough to put me off that look for life.

Nessa is not exactly known for her chic style.

Now, as trends for autumn/winter start to appear, I’ve spotted that curve-clinging pencil skirts are back — from Gucci and Givenchy to high-street favourites Zara and Mango.

And now I’m wondering, has the time come to give the style another whirl?

There was a 12,000 per cent increase in searches on shopping site LTK for “pencil skirts” following the autumn/winter 2025 fashion weeks earlier this year.

This thirst for a more slimline look tells us one thing, if nothing else — many of us, myself included, want to jump off the conveyor belt of loose midi and maxi styles.

Five years on from lockdowns, we’re ready for a bit of wiggle. We want to get dressed up!.

Now, I’m not for one minute suggesting we revert back to peak Noughties pencil skirt trends, when going “out out” was all about looking like a sexy businesswoman.

Think peroxide blonde Victoria Beckham in her peak Wag era, complete with skintight skirt and peplum boob tube. Or reality stars like Towie original Amy Childs

But there was a time before this when the pencil skirt was stylish and classy.

THE last time I wore a pencil skirt, my brother affectionately told me I looked like Nessa Jenkins from Gavin & Stacey.

Clemmie Fieldsend, Fashion Editor

Starlets like Grace Kelly and Marilyn Monroe were big fans of the style, which became hugely popular in the late Fifties, with tucked in blouses and knits to show off their waist and bust.

As Marilyn tottered along the train platform in Some Like It Hot, the tight-fitting style may well have played a part in her trademark wiggle walk.

In the Eighties, pencil skirts were paired with shoulder-padded blazers. Women were making moves in boardrooms and this was power-dressing at its best. Think Melanie Griffith in Working Girl and Joan Collins in Dynasty.

Over the next few decades, the pencil skirt became a workwear uniform.

But recently, aside from wives of world leaders such as Melania Trump or contestants on The Apprentice, it has disappeared from our office attire.

Especially since Covid, you are more likely to wear flats and comfy trousers than a restrictive, uncomfortable and somewhat dated knee-length skirt.

It seems, though, that we have now come full circle. As well as the designers’ offerings, we’ve seen a pregnant Rihanna wear a pencil skirt to a pre-Met Gala bash.

I am convinced that there’s a way to wear this season’s wiggle skirts without looking like a string of sausages

Clemmie Fieldsend, Fashion Editor

We’ll also see the pencil return to screens this season as Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts and Niecy Nash-Betts star as outrageously fierce and successful lawyers in Disney’s legal drama All’s Fair later on this year.

But after enjoying years of elastic waistbands and roomy skirts, are the rest of us now ready to squeeze into a tummy-sucking number?

Personally, I’ll never get back into a black pleather version again.

I can’t shake my Nessa past and rarely get dolled up enough to dust off my peplum and six-inch heels.

But looking at the styles around on the high street, I am convinced that there’s a way to wear this season’s wiggle skirts without looking like a string of sausages.

The faux-leather options out there are looser and more flattering, and they come in a range of colours.

There are also cosy knitted versions or softer viscose numbers with bold patterns.

I like the idea of wearing one with an oversized blazer and knee-high boots to the office in the autumn, to sharpen up my workwear.

For drinks, I might even plump for a faux-leather number in sage or burgundy, with heels.

But for the majority of the week, I will be sticking with my favourite flats.

And I’m sorry, but you just can’t do a pencil skirt with ballet pumps or brogues without looking like a wally.

Samantha Cameron’s luxury fashion brand Cefinn set to shut its doors after eight years

SAMANTHA Cameron’s luxury fashion brand Cefinn is set to shut its doors after eight years.

The wife of former PM Lord Cameron said the decision was “very hard”, but admitted industry pressures had made it impossible for the label to stay afloat.

Cefinn’s next winter collection, launching later this month, will be its final offering.

The brand will continue to trade through its London stores and its website in the coming months, allowing customers to snap up the remaining pieces.

Lady Cameron, who worked in fashion before her move to No10, has had her label celebrated for its stylish yet practical designs for modern women.

It has been worn by both Princess Kate and Queen Camilla.

But retail firms have been hit hard by the Labour Government’s hikes to the minimum wage and employers’ National Insurance contributions in April, as well as the impact of rising business rates.

It comes as plus-size fashion brand Live Unlimited has filed a note of intent to appoint administrators this week.

Public filings reveal that the firm has enlisted advisers from Irwin Mitchell to manage the process.

A note of intent typically gives a retailer ten days before it officially goes bust, although this can be cut shorter if needed.

The label was launched in 2012 and has been stocked online and in-store by both Next and John Lewis.

PRIMARK RISE

FASHION chain Primark saw sales grow over the last six months thanks to better weather and store openings, its parent firm Associated British Foods reported.

UK and Ireland sales grew by 1 per cent in the second half, with the new shops having offset a 2 per cent fall in like-for-like sales.

Boss George Weston said Primark was not raising prices but ABF’s grocery division is being forced to pass on cost increases.

SPOONS SPICE

WETHERSPOONS is adding Irish takeaway dish The Spice Bag to its menus in England, Scotland and Wales later this month.

From September 17, punters can enjoy the salt and chilli chicken strips dish, including red onion, chillies and coriander, for £8.99 with a soft drink — or £10.52 with a pint.

Sarah Shaw of the pub chain said: “It has already proven extremely popular with customers in our Republic of Ireland pubs.”

XMAS CHOC PRICE WOE

BRITAIN’S favourite festive treats are shrinking in size but soaring in price this year, trade magazine The Grocer says.

Quality Street tubs are now 550g, down from 600g, with prices up 16.7 per cent to £7, although Asda offers them for £4.68.

Terry’s Chocolate Orange has shrunk by 7.6 per cent, although its price has jumped 33.3 per cent to £2 at Tesco and 28.2 per cent to £2.50 at Sainsbury’s.

Cadbury Roses tins have also downsized, dropping from 750g to 700g. Prices climbed by as much as 17.9 per cent, with tins in Morrisons £16.50, up from £14.

Stranded on Honeymoon Island bride reveals show led to life-changing health diagnosis

DAVINA McCall’s dating show has proven life-changing for one bride after it unlocked a hidden disorder.

Gorgeous Millie Thompson, 30, has been diagnosed with autism and ADHD after taking part on Stranded on Honeymoon Island having realised her OCD was so intense she considered smuggling in a pair of socks.

One of the DJ and model’s quirks was she cannot bear to be barefoot, so she thought about sewing a secret set into her wedding dress.

The BBC show sees singles marooned on a deserted beach in only their wedding attire.

Millie told The Sun: “Coming back from the show, I ended up getting tested for ADHD and autism and I found out I have both.

“I have learnt so much about myself, someone described it as being ‘neuro spicy’ and I love that for me.

Read More on Davina McCall

“It’s lifechanging really.

“I always knew things like I couldn’t be without a pair of socks, I always have to be wearing a pair, but being on the show made everything clear.

“This sounds crazy but I was contemplating sewing some socks into the boob bit of my wedding dress, I was like ‘can I smuggle in some socks?!’ but then I was like, no they’ll be disgusting.

“Now I know that’s why I am how I am.

“I’ve changed so much from it but in such a good, positive way and everyone has noticed.”

Millie was so conscious of being without her comforts, she had her wedding dress custom made with the experience in mind.

Davina McCall hosts new reality show Stranded on Honeymoon Island

She included a bodysuit she could wear like a onesie, and a skirt she could detach and use as a mosquito net.

Millie, from Cheshire, added: “I am such a girly girl, I was combing my hair extensions with a fork.

“But the experience makes you strip everything back and I thought I’d struggle because I’m so OCD but I actually coped really well.”

Viewers saw her struggle with the show’s dramatic jump into the sea that kicks off their stranded experience.

“With Love Island there’s other couples and you can escape, but there’s nothing like Stranded for this, you’ve just got each other.”

Millie Thompson

After meeting at the altar, the couples then take a boat out to their deserted beach and then plummet into the sea ahead of a swim to land.

But poor Millie can’t swim and she had to fit a life vest over her gorgeous wedding dress.

She said: “That was a massive thing for me because I literally will not get in the water, I can put my feet in but that’s it, so to have to do that was massive.”

But she reckons being out of her comfort zone kickstarted a connection with her groom Jordan in a way that could never happen on Love Island.

While she can’t give away what happens on her journey, Milile added: “You are on a beach with absolutely nothing, you are relying on each other for everything.

This is a free service, with no extra fees.

The service is automatically carried out when a buyer purchases an item from any of the categories listed above.

Products must also be over a certain price point for the service to be carried out.

You can check out the requirements below:

  • Trainers from select brands listed at £100+
  • Watches from select brandspriced at £1,500+
  • Handbags and accessories from select luxury brands
  • Jewellery from select brandspriced at £500+
  • Clothing shoes and accessories from select brands priced at £200+

Kirsty Keoghan, GM European Fashion, eBay, said expanding the programme gives shoppers “confidence”.

She said: “Expanding Authenticity Guarantee to clothing gives people the confidence to buy the styles they love, from staples to statement pieces, knowing every item has been verified by experts.

“With whole-look authentication now possible, our goal is to make pre-loved fashion a natural first choice.”

The shakeup comes just days after the major selling platform said it would pay users more quickly.

Some sellers can now be paid within 24 hours, up from the previous two-day wait.

Sellers who have completed at least 10 sales totalling £150 or more in the past five years and have had no more than two unresolved cases in the preceding 12 months will be paid within 24 hours of sale.

How does eBay authenticity guarantee programme work?

If you buy a designer item such as a handbag the seller sends your item to an eBay authenticator.

It then undergoes an inspection from packaging to accessories, and against the listing description.

Once verified, your item receives a QR code-enabled card or tag containing detailed information and it’s sent to you via fast, tracked and secure delivery.

Vinted offers a similar service, but it is optional and you have to pay £10.

The items must cost more than £85 and it only applies to certain brands across clothing, bags, accessories, jewellery and shoes.

After the item is verified it is sent to the buyer within one to two business days.

Top tips for selling on eBay

NEW to eBay? It’s head of secondhand, Emma Grant, reveals how to optimise your listings:

  1. Use key words – eBay automatically filters listing titles for key words, so it’s crucial to use the terminology people search for – especially brand and product names.
  2. Choose the right category for your product – It might sound obvious but it’s important to always choose the most specific category to sell in.
  3. Pictures are important – Most users will not bid on items they cannot see. For best results, take photos in natural light against a neutral background and be honest about any scratches or damage to the item.
  4. Be as detailed as possible – Be honest about the condition of the product and be sure to note any wear and tear.
  5. Look at past sold items–  eBay has a function that allows you to search for the item you want to sell and then filter the results by sold items. Here, you can view the price the item has sold for and get insight into how others have listed it.
  6. Selling Sundays – Get the timing right. The busiest time for buyers is Sunday evenings, so schedule your listings to end around that time. Opt for seven-day auctions to ensure the max number of bids. The longer your item is listed, the more chance of people seeing it, so unless it’s time-sensitive, pick seven days.  December is the busiest month on eBay.
  7. Be realistic with pricing – Try searching for similar items on eBay, to make sure you’re going for the right price and always ask yourself “would I pay this price for this item?”
  8. Donate to charity – When listing your item, consider donating a percentage of the sale to a cause of your choice – from 10% to 100% – you can donate the funds raised from your item straight from the platform.

TikToker @Malikiss1 filmed the outfit in-store and captioned it: “Run to Primark for the easiest Sue Sylvester Halloween costume.”

Halloween deals

And with Halloween only a month away, bargain hunters are also snapping up spooky deals from other high street favourites.

Poundland has slashed prices in a massive clearance sale ahead of its website shutting down later this month.

Shoppers can bag Halloween decorations from as little as 50p, including pumpkin ornaments, ghost plates and ceramic mugs.

Costumes, masks and multipacks of sweets have also been reduced, making it easy to stock up before trick-or-treat season.

It is not just Halloween stock either, Christmas baubles, stockings and jumpers have also been reduced to clear, with prices starting at just £1.

Poundland’s website will switch to browsing-only from September 16, with the store’s loyalty scheme also being scrapped.

Meanwhile, Home Bargains has launched a new “spooky disco” collection with a quirky pink twist.

Among the stand-out items is a £4.99 pumpkin disco dome and a £1.79 cowboy ghost ornament called Gloria.

Pink mason jars and mugs are also on sale, alongside matching disco tea towels and table runners to complete the look.

With Primark’s tracksuit hack, Poundland’s clearance bargains and Home Bargains’ disco-inspired range, shoppers are spoiled for choice when it comes to cheap and cheerful Halloween prep this year.

Top tips on getting dressed up for Halloween

By Abby McHale, Fabulous’ Deputy Fashion Editor

Halloween is the perfect opportunity to get dressed up, take on a different persona and have fun with your look.

These days, celebrities provide the perfect inspiration for costumes, however, they also have a team of stylists, makeup artists and endless bounds of cash at their disposal.

So how do you make an outfit like theirs work for you?

A lot of stars make their outfits look sexy and your lingerie drawer is the perfect starting point.

You can use anything from a bra, fishnet tights, stockings and suspenders to add to your look, then depending on the look you’re going for add makeup according.

I.e wearing a black bodice and tights, add some red lipstick and dark eyes for a vampy look.

The rest of your wardrobe can be more inspiring than you think too – for example a plain black can be a perfect base for your costume.

If you are however happy to spend a bit of money on your Halloween costume but are running out of time then Amazon is your go too, there are so many costumes to choose from with many sitting under its Prime next day delivery option.

Or if you’re wanting to see what the in store shops have to offer, look to the supermarkets and budget stores such as B&M, Poundland and Primark which are still full of accessories and clothing to fulfil your Halloween wishes.

Other Halloween ideas

Shoppers have been left running to their local Home Bargains to snap up their brand-new Disney Halloween buy that keeps selling out.

In honour of Halloween, Mickey and Minnie Mouse have been turned into adorable, fluffy orange pumpkins.

And an Ibiza Final Boss costume is set to be Halloween’s big trend as online stores cash in on demand.

While, shoppers cried “Love every single pair” as Sainsbury’s launched their “gorgeous” range of autumn PJs

Finally, last year, a Halloween-daft mum left people stumped after creating incredible optical illusion costumes for her son – with people asking “what one is the kid?”.

I tried Uniqlo’s £20 linen trousers — they’re flattering on everyone and my new office staple

UNIQLO is home to multiple viral fashion pieces, and for good reason.

The retailer nails the balance between comfort and style, stocking everyday staples that get more than their money’s worth of wear.

Uniqlo’s viral crossbody bag was quite literally everywhere when it was released, and the retailer’s linen blend trousers are yet another trending gem.

I tried the Uniqlo Linen Blend Trousers for myself, and I can confirm they nailed the brief.

I tried Uniqlo’s £20 linen blend trousers

Uniqlo Linen Blend Easy Trousers, £19.90

Uniqlo Linen Blend Trousers: Quickfire Q&A

How much is it? The linen trousers cost £19.90 on the Uniqlo website.

Who’s it best for? Anyone hunting for a staple pair of comfy trousers they can wear every day.

What we loved: The high-quality design, the flattering fit and how comfortable they are.

What we didn’t love: They become quite creased, so they will likely need ironing after every wash.

  • Uniqlo Linen Blend Easy Trousers, £19.90 – buy here

The £20 buy features a relaxed silhouette, straight leg, drawstring waist and of course, pockets.

Capsule trousers are a must for any wardrobe — I’m talking a pair that can be worn every season and thrown on with just about any other item.

I hate feeling restricted in my office outfits, so the stretchy drawstring waist is ideal for keeping comfortable all day.

Linen is a popular choice for the warmer weather, but the lightweight material is also great for the transitional seasons (I’ll be wearing the trending brown shade throughout the autumn).

The trousers come in eight colours, ranging from neutral beiges and blacks to orange and green tones.

The Uniqlo trousers are my new office staple

Uniqlo Linen Blend Easy Trousers, £19.90

While the silhouette is relaxed, the drawstring waist can be pulled tighter for a cinched fit.

As the trousers are so versatile, they’re going to be flattering on every body type.

My favourite feature? The quality.

The linen blend fabric feels airy while still being thick, so there’s no risk of them being see-through (although I can’t speak for the lighter colours).

If I tried these on blind, I would assume they costed a lot more than £20.

They’re incredibly comfortable, but unlike sweatpants or leggings, they also make me feel put-together and stylish.

Uniqlo also offers alterations on certain items.

Shoppers can choose to adjust the inseam length of the trousers for free, which is great for those who can never quite find the perfect length.

I’ve been wearing the versatile trousers with T-shirts and cardigans during working from home days, and I also dressed it up slightly by opting for a boat neck top.

I could see the affordable fashion find looking great with an off-shoulder top, heeled boots and chunky jewellery for an elevated evening look.

Woman in brown linen top and trousers.
The high-street trousers come in eight colours

Uniqlo Linen Blend Easy Trousers, £19.90

The easy-to-wear trousers will get more of their fair share of use, and for less than £20, they’re a bargain.

Shoppers agree, as the Uniqlo staple has received a 4.7-out-of-5 star rating online.

One fashion fan wrote: “These trousers are honestly some of the most comfortable I own.

I can move around in them easily and without restriction — 10/10, would highly recommend.”

Another added: “Uniqlo’s linen blend trousers are a stylish, affordable, and practical addition to a wardrobe.

The fabric blend keeps them breathable yet less prone to heavy crinkles, so they’re travel-ready with a comfortable waist.”

The verdict: are the Uniqlo trousers worth it?

These high-street trousers are my new go-to for everyday wear, and absolutely worth the £20 price tag.

Not only are they super comfortable, but I feel put-together whenever I wear them.

I love that they’re versatile enough to style for every season, and I’m going to get myself another one of the eight colours.

Woman who had a total glow up in her 50s looks decades younger & there’s one item you need to ditch

A WOMAN in her 50s has been flooded with praise online after showing off her massive “glow up” – and people are calling it “legendary.”

The brunette beauty named Kristina told how she achieved her flawless skin and youthful appearance without surgery or any invasive procedures.

So it’s little surprise people have been begging the brunette beauty to reveal her anti-ageing secrets.

Taking to TikTok (@kristina.maay), she penned: “When you’re a good-looking 50, but you were very ugly in your early 40s.”

In the clip, she shared a stunning video of herself revealing her flawless skin now – and there’s not a wrinkle in sight.

She then posted a series of photos from in her 40s to show just how much she believes she has changed.

In response to one person who commented that she must’ve had a change in money to achieve her new look, Kristina confirms: “No change in finances.

“I spent more before on my face tbh.”

Kristina also shared a second post shared to TikTok and went on to reveal some of the changes she made in just six years that she believes have helped to turn back the clock.

Firstly, she explains how she started using glycolic acid,
microcurrent, gua-sha and doing facial yoga.

Next, she made changes in her eating and started focusing on consuming a high protein diet.

Kristina also says she stopped eating gluten and started ditching alcohol and sugar.

As for exercise, she took up weight training and shed a whopping 5kgs.

“Weight loss is absolutely a massive glow up isn’t it?! Body composition changes are an even bigger glow up,” she wrote, in response to one social media user.

She notes that ditching the “ugly fake lashes” also helped to make a huge difference and says she also let her feather touch brows fade.

Along with having 2 pre-cancerous moles removes, Kristina also started her supplement regime.

Why is turmeric good for anti-ageing?

A study published in the Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition suggests that turmeric and curcumin may help prevent DNA damage and aid in DNA repair.

This is promising news for disease prevention and slowing the ageing process. It also:

Boosts Collagen Production: Collagen is a protein that maintains the skin’s elasticity and firmness. As we age, collagen production decreases, leading to wrinkles and sagging skin. Turmeric helps stimulate collagen synthesis, thereby promoting firmer and more youthful skin.

Improves Skin Health: Turmeric has been shown to improve various skin conditions, such as acne, psoriasis, and eczema. Its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties help soothe the skin, reduce redness, and promote a clearer complexion.

It wasn’t long before the post went viral, racking up a whopping 408k views and several comments from very impressed social media users.

“Wow we who, what, where, when and HOW!!!” wrote one.

A second commented: “We are sat for lessons!”

A third wrote: “You are beautiful no matter what. Looking more sophisticated now and natural so well done.”

Meanwhile, a fourth added: “You were beautiful before, but the glow up is legendary!!!!”

Another praised: “You look so good now.”

A further noted: “You’re 50!?! You look amazing.”

And another pleaded: “So what’s the secret?”

Woman slammed for ‘vulgar’ wedding guest dress as trolls say she’s trying to ‘make the whole day’ about her ‘rack’

IT’S can be hard to choose an outfit to wear to a wedding.

And one woman found that choosing a colour other than white isn’t the only rule to stick to – as she raised eyebrows with her dress choice.

While some people called the outfit “vulgar”, others said Noelle is entitled to wear whatever she wantsCredit: Instagram/@noelledowning

Noelle took to her Instagram page to share a video of herself with her other half, as she wrote over the top: “This is your sign to ask him out first…”

“Worst case? A story. Best case? A boyfriend,” she added in the caption.

The clip showed the pair grinning at each other and embracing, as they prepared to head off to some nuptials.

But it was Noelle’s dress choice that led to her coming under fire – specifically the neckline.

The maxi dress featured a low-cut neckline, which left little to the imagination as it clung to her curves.

And the comments section saw people taking aim at Noelle for her outfit choice, with one writing: “Dress on backwards or is that her low self esteem hanging out?”

“Dress is vulgar,” another added.

“Seems desperate for attention,” a third sighed.

“Imagine going to a friend’s wedding and you use it as an opportunity to make it all about your own rack!” someone else scathed.

“Sorry horrendous dress for a wedding! No respect!” another added.

I’m 5ft3 & a size 12-14 – my 7 Tesco dresses are an absolute bargain & perfect for a last-minute wedding guest outfit

“Put your tata’s away. What the heck?” someone else questioned.

But others defended Noelle, insisting she’s perfectly within her rights to wear exactly what she wants – when she wants.

“She can’t help having big boobs and she’s allowed to wear a dress with a cute neckline. Hope that helps!” one wrote.

“I wanted people showing up to my wedding in their hottest outfits, because I’m not insecure and I want my girlfriends to look and feel good every chance they get,” another added.

“There were some short short dresses, boobs out and guess what, we ALL had a BLAST out there on the dance floor all night long.

“Boobs exist, who cares?”

5 clothing mistakes women with big boobs make

Do you have DD+ boobs and struggle to find clothes that fit?

Fabulous’ Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend has shared her top tips on clothes to avoid if you have a big bust.

1. Say no to the polo

High necklines such a roll necks are to be avoided if you have a fuller bust.  Closed chests and necks make your boobs appear bigger and can sometimes give you the dreaded uni-boob.

Try wearing V-necks, sweetheart, off the shoulder or scooped necklines that elongate the look of your neck and decolletage.

2. Bigger isn’t better

Frills, draping and excess fabric to cover your boobs only makes them look bigger.  They make you look too top heavy and add unnecessary bulk on your top half which distracts from your face.

Instead keep things clean and simple with sleek fabrics and designs with open necklines.

3. Skip slogan tees

Slogan or printed T-shirts are having a moment with fashion fans falling over themselves to get Ganni Tees, or their high street dupes.

The key is to make sure you’re not buying a top with thick, heavy paint plastered on as the print. These will stretch over your fuller chests and split, resulting in a messy look and a ruined T-shirt that’s now a waste of money.

4. Avoid crop tops

Tops that are shorter in length or crop tops should be swerved if you had a big chest. You’ll find you spend most of your time pulling it down and also it messes with the proportions of your body.

If you have a big bust and a crop top on, they cut you off in the middle, which makes your bust look even bigger and in worse cases give the illusion that your chest meets your waist.

A longer top (including anything from a T-shirt to a jumper) will create the right proportions.

5. Body-wrong

Straight or tight fitted dresses are brilliant at showing off your figure.  However if you have a big bust that isn’t in proportion with the rest of your shape they’re a no-go.

If you have a fuller bust you can create balance and a defined hourglass silhouette by wearing A-line dresses or skirts.

“These comments didn’t pass the vibe check… Girl how do you get them to stay like THAT?!?!” a third laughed.

“The amount of prudes in the comments is wild,” someone else said.

“I don’t think anybody would be saying anything about the neckline if you had a small chest… but because you’re well endowed, everybody’s p**sed.

“Seems like it’s more of their own insecurity and not yours. You look stunning in that dress! Do you boo!”

“The body shaming in these comments is NOT IT!” another added.

“The dress is gorgeous and having larger breasts and wanting them to shine isn’t a crime.

“Also most clothing isn’t made for bustier girls. You are beautiful queen.

“Keep wearing whatever the hell makes you feel beautiful!”

Ashley Roberts risks multiple wardrobe blunders as she sunbathes in undone bikini and poses in dress held up by luck

ASHLEY Roberts has risked multiple wardrobe blunders while sunbathing in an undone bikini.

Not only did she almost go topless while on the beach, but in another snap from her summer photo dump, the Pussycat Doll posed in a dress held up by luck alone.

In the caption of the multiple sizzling snaps, Ashley, 43, penned, “Summer on film.”

The first snap saw Ashley walking across the sand while donning a green silk minidress as she beamed for the camera.

Next up, Ashley grinned while wearing a black dress that had blue embellishments.

Going braless for the display, Ashley risked her first wardrobe blunder as she posed up a storm.

She then sqautted down while on a yacht as she wore a blue dress with a thigh-high split.

Ashley posed with her artist boyfriend George Rollinson in the next photo.

And in the next, she risked it all as she sunbathed on the beach.

Lying on her stomach as she sunned herself, Ashley wore a tiny pink bikini which she had unfastened, risking her second wardrobe blunder.

She posed in the black and blue dress again, before enjoying a night out in the green dress she also wore in an earlier photo.

The next offering then saw Ashley beaming while donning a plunging berry-colored bikini top.

Ashley also posed, seemingly braless, in a strapless dress that was held up by luck alone.

Fans were instantly stunned by the sizzling displays, with one writing, “Stunning outfits. You look amazing Ashley.”

“Always glowing and looking beautiful Ashley,” penned a second.

A third person swooned over Ashley’s “sexy figure”, while a fourth said, “What a woman!”.

STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS,” added a fifth.

And a sixth gushed, “Omg you’re glowing.”

American girl Ashley is all loved up with British artist George Rollinson, who is 17 years her junior.

The couple have been loved up since November 2023.

Ashley previously gushed over how much she loves British men.

Speaking to MailOnline last year she said, “Yes, George is British. It’s funny because I have been here so long that when I go back to the States, I’m much more aware of the differences…

“American men are, I feel bad saying this, but they’re overwhelming, they are too much. I’m like, you need to calm down.

“I think because I grew up in that culture, I didn’t necessarily think anything different but now I’ve lived here for so long and I’ve dated in the past, many years ago, European men…

“But I don’t even imagine myself dating an American guy now. They have a different approach. Even in places like Vegas it’s all around you that kind of testosterone.”

HELEN Flanagan has hit back at cruel mum shamers while wearing a tiny bra and defending her boob job decision.

The former Coronation Street starlet, 35, has taken to Instagram to defend her boob job after cruel trolls left nasty comments on a recent snap she shared online.

Over the weekend, Helen shared some glam snaps of her donning a chic dress.

Cruel trolls were quick to share their thoughts on her look, with one writing at the time: “Who on earth is she? dress is too small anyway.”

And in a sizzling video where she donned lingerie earlier this summer, another troll penned: “You really should save that for the bedroom.”

But now Helen has hit back at the haters with a defiant message.

Taking to her Instagram stories on Sunday, Helen explained how she attended the “most beautiful wedding” over the weekend before showing everyone her Pride outfit.

Helen could be seen donning a tiny bra with a silver sequin suit.

She then said how she would “probably get nasty comments” because she’s showing off her cleavage.

Helen went on to add how she has three kids and breast fed for around three years in total.

“Honestly, when I finished breast-feeding, I could have tied my boobs in a bow. They was so bad,” she confessed.

The next slide then saw Helen showing off her boob job after three pregnancies in an Instagram reel.

Helen Flanagan shamed over outfit as mums say their ‘son would be mortified’

She explained how she went under the knife because she was “so self conscious”.

Helen then spoke to her fans again in the next slide where she said she has naturally always had “really big boobs”.

“Before I had kids, I had natural E cup boobs,” she confessed.

She later added how she gets comments “all the time” where people say “oh, you’re a mum, you should cover up” and “your kids would be ashamed of you”.

I don’t think there’s anything shameful about being confident or about being sexy. I don’t think that’s a bad thing.

Helen Flanagan

Helen hit back saying: “This is actually my body.”

She noted that even though she has had surgery from breast feeding and had excess skin, despite having had an implant put in each of them – they are now their natural size and how they always were.

“Should I be ashamed of how I look because I’m a woman and this is how I look?” she asked.

“So, I don’t think there’s anything shameful about being confident or about being sexy. I don’t think that’s a bad thing.

“I don’t understand how that makes you a bad mum?” she said, sounding confused.

“I’m not perfect, but I try and show my children the importance of being kind,” Helen added, noting how she would never want them to “drag other women down”.

She explained how she wants her daughters to grow up being kind to other women, and kind in general.

“That, I think, is good parenting,” Helen slammed before making a dig at people who call her out for wearing a low cut dress, adding “that’s not nice”.

“That’s bad parenting,” she added.

Helen went on to say how she wants her daughter to dress in ways that make her feel confident as she grows up.

Bank Holiday revellers are all smiles as they don fancy dress & kick off three-day weekend with booze-fuelled Otley Run

BANK Holiday revellers donned fancy dress at the booze-fuelled Otley Run as they kicked off celebrations for the three-day weekend.

Hundreds of rowdy drinkers took to the streets in their best and brightest for the famous pub crawl with pals.

The booze trail is seen as a rite of passage for many and happens multiple times a year attracting thousands.

James Bond, Ginger Spice and the Fantastic Four were all out in force as they trekked all 17 venues on the trail.

The iconic Otley Run starts at Woodies pub in Far Headingly and finishes at The Dry Dock at the edge of Leeds city centre.

The aim of the game is to have a drink in each of the 17 pubs along the way.

One group of girls were all spotted wearing bridal gowns and wedding dresses

While another group donned cowboy hats and colourful dresses for the West Yorkshire drinkathon.

Another girl was even snapped all smiles in a toothpaste tube outfit.

The lads were also dressed up for the Bank Holiday bonanza as James Bond and The Joker with others wrapped in St George flags wielding swords as English knights.

Others were kitted out in lederhosen with one even spotted with a traffic cone on his head – but that might just be the booze talking.

Pirates, princesses and policewomen alike were also spotted in the excited crowds as they enjoyed the three-day weekend.

Participants begin at Woodies before swilling snifters at 15 other watering holes during the challenge, which takes place several times a year.

Drinkers sip a final brew at the aptly named Dry Dock – a narrow boat-turned-pub.

The list of boozers you’re supposed to stop at has changed over the last few years but still stands at 17 strong.

Punters are tasked with a drink at every stop in their best fancy dress with themes ranging from the simple to the outlandish.

It’s particularly popular among students and locals in Leeds and is often a vibrant and chaotic journey through some of the city’s most beloved watering holes.

Revellers often opt for superheroes, animals, or film characters but, honestly, anything goes.

It can often make for hilarious encounters as multiple themes and characters all mingle in one pub.

I ordered a pearl dress for a birthday photoshoot – it’s so bad, people joke and say I was ‘sent the PDF version’

ORDERING your wardrobe online is always a risky business as you never quite know what you’re going to end up with.

And now one fashionista has proven why you might be better off trying on clothes in-store rather than trying your luck online – especially, if it’s a lesser-known website.

Ahead of a birthday photoshoot, the shopper, only known as Chris, decided to treat herself to a stunning pearl gown she had spotted online.

The jaw-dropping gown, which looked incredible on the model, was advertised by a brand called Divacc – a website which no longer seems to be accessible.

The showstopper of a dress featured a busty neckline and hundreds of pearls of varying sizes, which hugged the tanned model’s body perfectly.

The gown, which appears to have since been taken down along the website, also boasted a sexy thigh-high split, making for a leggy display.

Stunned by how gorgeous the item was, Chris ordered the lavish gown – but much to her disappointment, the contents of the parcel were a far cry from her expectations.

Horrified, the online shopper took to TikTok where she shared the epic fail, leaving millions of viewers in hysterics.

”This is what I ordered for a birthday photoshoot,” she said at the start of the now-viral video.

”And this is w*f I got,” Chris said, as she modelled the actual dress she received in the post.

Unlike the stunning gown advertised online, the real dress appeared to be made out of a flimsy material – and the pearls were simply a printed design.

Although the figure-hugging dress did have a thigh-high split, that was pretty much the only similarity to the luxe gown she had ordered for the photoshoot.

Unimpressed, Chris gave horrified viewers a look of the epic fail from different angles.

”At this point @divacc you gone have to fight me,” Chris wrote in the caption.

Posted just a week ago under the username @vivala_mamacita, the video has already gone viral, winning the young beauty more than a whopping 11million views.

Subtle Makeup: Opt for a natural makeup look that enhances your features without overpowering them.

  1. Layering

”Girl did you order it or did you download it,” someone else wanted to know.

”The store is called DIVACC cause what DIVACC did you order,” another was in hysterics.

”I set my expectations low but this hit on another level,” a viewer couldn’t believe how bad the gown turned out to be.

Chris, who has since made a gorgeous pearl gown herself, went on in the comments: ”I saw it on Pinterest and went through their site on there. It’s Called Divacc.

Is supermarket fashion the new high street?

DEPUTY Fashion Editor Abby McHale weighs in:

The supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, as you head in to do your weekly food shop you can also pick up a selection of purse-friendly, stylish pieces for all the family.

Tesco has just announced a 0.7 per cent increase in the quarter thanks to a ‘strong growth in clothing’ and M&S has earnt the title of the number one destination for womenswear on the high street.

Asda’s clothing line George has made £1.5 million for the supermarket in 2023, 80 per cent of Sainsbury’s clothes sold at full price rather than discounted and Nutmeg at Morrisons sales are also up 2 per cent in the past year.

So what is it about supermarket fashion that is becoming so successful?

Apart from the clothing actually being affordable, it’s good quality too – with many being part of schemes such as the Better Cotton Initiative.

A lot of the time they keep to classic pieces that they know will last the customer year after year.

Plus because they buy so much stock they can turn around pieces quickly and buy for cheaper because of the volumes.

I’m a model, 75, who’s never had Botox & has no interest in becoming a humanoid… I swear by a £2 Temu buy instead

A 75-YEAR-OLD model who’s never had Botox has revealed the £2 Temu buy she swears by to stay looking young.

Penelope Tree first made a name for herself in the 1960s, and has enjoyed a resurgence of success in recent years – walking the runway for Fendi and Richard Quinn and appearing in a star-studded ad campaign to mark Zara’s 50th anniversary.

When it comes to her anti-ageing tips, she swears by using these face tapes – which you can get for £2 from TemuCredit: temu

And while she used to be “obsessed” with her appearance when she was younger, she’s now “more interested in what’s going on” around her.

She’s also “not trying to prove anything” by undergoing cosmetic procedures to maintain a flawless facade.

“You just have to accept the inevitability of ageing. I don’t really see what’s wrong with it!” she told the MailOnline.

“And I don’t like hospitals or the idea of being fiddled with in a surgical way.

Read more Anti-ageing stories

“Also, repeated plastic surgery does tend to make people look like replicants (bioengineered humanoids).”

Instead, she prefers a more natural way of reducing the look of her wrinkles – anti-ageing face tapes.

The adhesive tapes have threads attached, which can be pulled and secured discreetly around the head to make the face look more taut.

And they won’t set you back anywhere near as much as Botox either, as you can pick them up for just £2 on Temu.

Other celebrities who use the tapes include Joan Collins and Bella Hadid.

She’s also a big fan of Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream and Trinny London’s The Elevator cream.

I hated my wrinkled skin, so I spent £4k to have the top layer taken off, people can’t believe I’m the same person

“In my 20s my currency was my beauty,” Penelope continued.

“Now my currency is being alive, interested and curious.

“I just leave it to the hairdressers and the make-up artists to make me look as good as I can, which isn’t easy!”

As for her fashion sense, Penelope loves “statement jewellery”, which said makes older people “look fabulous”.

And she loves shopping at the “affordable and fabulous” Zara.

“I wear an orange Zara suit every summer and it’s the most complimented outfit I’ve ever worn in my life!” she admitted.

How is celery juice an anti-ageing potion?

Celery juice is packed with antioxidants like vitamin C and flavonoids, which combat free radicals that cause cellular damage and aging.

Its high water content keeps your skin hydrated and plump, reducing the appearance of wrinkles.

The anti-inflammatory compounds in celery, such as apigenin and luteolin, help reduce chronic inflammation linked to ageing.

Rich in essential nutrients like vitamin K and potassium, celery juice supports overall skin health and body functions.

Drinking celery juice regularly can complement a balanced diet and skincare routine, promoting a youthful glow from within.

But while she’s happy to save money on the majority of her wardrobe, there’s one thing she’ll always splash out on – and that’s denim.

“If there’s one thing I have learnt as I have aged, it’s to spend money on jeans,” she said, adding that she’s had the same pair for three years and insisting they’re “good as new”.

The leopard print gown would look perfect paired with sandals for a summer look, and can easily be transitioned into your winter wardrobe if paired with boots.

Shoppers are also loving the F&F Edit Palm Print Bardot Midi Dress in Multi Red, which has been slashed from £25 to just £12.

The stylish frock features an exotic tropical pattern and a belt that will help to hide your tummy.

The long-sleeves and elasticated neckline provide a flattering and comfortable look, which can be dressed up with heels, or dressed down with sandals.

Tesco fans are also loving the F&F Cotton Rich Sleeveless Ribbed Racer Midi Dress in Mink which has been slashed from £16 to just £9, a saving of almost 60%.

The simple dress can easily be chucked on in hot weather, and the sleeveless design will help to cool down sweaty armpits.

TikToker Jasmine Poppy sent fashion lovers into a frenzy when she posted a clip of her latest TU Clothing purchases.

The TikToker showed off Sainsbury’s new range of cosy sets perfect for snuggling up as the nights draw in.

Among the finds was the Mini Me Women’s Halloween Pink Pumpkin Print Slinky Pyjama set, priced at £16, with the rest of the line retailing at £20.

And while Halloween PJs usually mean garish orange and purple prints, Sainsbury’s has gone for something a little different this year with pretty designs in soft pinks and cute patterns that shoppers say are “perfect for autumn”.

The line includes a pink jersey pasta printed set, cosy pin-striped pumpkin set and a fun cherry cake printed set, with plenty of other cute designs for shoppers to pick from.

The playful pumpkin prints, soft fabrics, and matching sets have quickly earned a spot on people’s must-buy lists.

“I LOVE TU pjs, they’re so comfy,” raved one fan in the comments.

Another wrote: “Never have I run to order something so quickly.”

A third added: “These are gorgeous, I want all of them.”

One shopper had their eyes on a particular set, gushing: “I need the cherry pumpkin ones.”

I work in Sainsbury’s – my picks from new autumn collection, 1920s trend is back

While another insisted: “Sainsbury’s pjs top all others, honestly.”

It’s clear Sainsbury’s is coming into the colder months well prepared, with styles that feel seasonal without being over-the-top spooky, perfect for anyone who wants to nod to Halloween without going full fancy dress.

So, if you’re already dreaming of hot chocolate, candles, and a fresh pair of matching PJs, you might want to make your next supermarket trip a pyjama haul.

It comes after a Sainsbury’s fashion boss sent shoppers into a frenzy after giving them a sneak peek of their new autumn arrivals.

Hannah Pountain, Director of Merchandising at Tu Clothing, revealed her top five picks from the new range in an Instagram video over the weekend.

And she rounded up her five top picks from the new range – including a staple buy which proves a classic 1920s trend is returning.

The autumn drop follows a wave of excitement over other high street nightwear launches.

Just last week, Primark had shoppers swooning with a Clueless-themed pyjama line, inspired by the iconic 90s rom-com.

I got illegal bum shots at 22 to get the perfect figure – now I look like a circus freak & no one takes me seriously

A WOMAN has revealed that she now looks like a “circus freak” after getting illegal bum shots aged 22.

Courtney Barnes, 35, decided to go to extreme lengths to get a huge bum, after finding that working out at the gym made her bum smaller.

The influencer underwent three rounds of illegal bum shots at “black market pumping parties”, and now has a 59inch bum.

However, she now completely regrets the illegal procedures she got, and is determined to reverse them.

“At one point I wanted a bigger butt at any cost”, Courtney, from Miami, Florida told Truly.

“But now I realise it could cost me my life.”

Read more real life stories

“I may look like a circus freak, but I just want people to see me for me”, she said.

The surgery that Courtney needs to undergo to remove her bum injections is very complicated, and will set her back more than £14,000.

“There are a lot of risks involved, and I don’t even think doctors fully know the risk”, she said.

Due to the illegal injections, Courtney’s bum is now discoloured and saggy.

She is also constantly “stalked” by people fascinated by her behind, and receives a lot of hate online for her unusual physique.

Trolls have claimed her bum “looks like melted cheese”, and that she must have low self-esteem.

I’m 30 & have had 4 BBL’s – trolls say my bum looks like a wisdom tooth but I don’t care about the risks, I want curves

Courtney is now hoping to completely transform her image, and has even got herself a life coach.

“I’m ready to look like the girl next door”, she said.

As well as getting her bum injections removed, Courtney is aiming for a more conservative look, so as to be taken seriously as an author.

She has written a book about her story, to warn people about the dangers of cosmetic surgery.

What are the risks of getting surgery abroad?

IT’S important to do your research if you’re thinking about having cosmetic surgery abroad.

It can cost less than in the UK, but you need to weigh up potential savings against the potential risks.

Safety standards in different countries may not be as high.

No surgery is risk-free. Complications can happen after surgery in the UK or abroad.

If you have complications after an operation in the UK, the surgeon is responsible for providing follow-up treatment.

Overseas clinics may not provide follow-up treatment, or they may not provide it to the same standard as in the UK.

Also, they may not have a healthcare professional in the UK you can visit if you have any problems.
