BONNIE Blue’s security has revealed they often deal with aggressive attacks aimed at her after she was “slapped” in a club.

Bonnie arrived at Onyx Nightclub in Sheffield, South Yorkshire at 1am on Friday as part of her “Bang Bus” tour before chaos ensued.

The notorious adult film star was appearing at an event dubbed “the wildest freshers experience in Sheffield”.

But carnage soon followed 40 minutes later as footage showed cops tackling suspects at the venue after an attendee reportedly punched her in the jaw.

However, Bonnie’s head of security told The Sun that she wasn’t punched but was “slapped” by a fan.

“Bonnie takes risks every time she poses for thousands of pictures with fans — and that’s always the main challenge for us, as we keep constant eyes on her safety,” he said.

“In this case, a fan took a split-second opportunity to slap her. Our team immediately stepped in with reasonable and necessary actions to de-escalate the situation, and Bonnie carried on with her night’s work.

“For the sake of content and socials, Bonnie often allows fans within arm’s reach, but our team has successfully managed numerous situations to stop anything aggressive — whether verbal or physical.

“This was an opportunistic attack, and it will not be tolerated.”

Bonnie also downplayed the altercation and said she was “totally fine” and thanked her security.

“She said: “There was a tiny incident last night but I’m totally fine — big thanks to my A+ security for keeping everything smooth.

“No scratches, no stress, and definitely no slowing me down. Can’t wait for my Nottingham homecoming for the next two days.”

A separate video from that night showed Bonnie ordering her security to get rid of a woman who said she was “setting feminism back”.

A woman with bright pink hair had approached Bonnie who told the woman: “Your hair looks so cool.”

She replied: “Thank you – but do you know how many years you’ve set back feminism?”

Bonnie is heard to say: “Oh get out. I haven’t.”

She appears to tell security to “get those fat f**** out”.

Her “Bang Bus” tour across the country promised “high energy DJ sets” but “no sexual behaviour”.

The event site, Skiddle, said in the build-up to the event: “This is a night built for making new friends, laughing until your cheeks hurt, and throwing yourself into the wildest Freshers experience in Sheffield.

“Important Notice: This event is a safe space for all. No sexual behaviour is permitted inside the venue – respect others and enjoy the party the right way.”

The adult film star has previously insisted that there were no plans to film herself having sex with students after she appeared at Glasgow University.

She told The Scottish Sun in an exclusive chat that she just wanted to “have a good time and meet more people that would never be able to come to London to see me normally.”

She announced Scotland was the first stop on her tour and said: “I wanted to go on tour through the UK, from the top to the bottom and Glasgow gave me the warmest welcome when I mentioned I would be going to Scotland.”

But all three of the city’s universities distanced themselves from her with Glasgow, Strathclyde and Caledonian, all saying they “have no links with Bonnie Blue”.

Bonnie infamously claimed a record in January 2024 after she was filmed having sex with 1,057 men in 12 hours.

LONDONERS have seen a 75 per cent rise in the “Sadiq Khan stealth tax” during the mayor’s time in office, we can reveal.

The levy — officially known as the mayoral precept — is added to council tax bills in all 32 city boroughs and has risen steadily since the Labour politician’s 2016 election.

For a Band D home, it has jumped from £280.02 in 2017 to £490.38 today.

In comparison, Liverpool asks £24, Cambridge £36 and Greater Manchester £128.95.

West Midlands Mayor Richard Parker charges nothing.

Much of this year’s London fee — £319.13 — goes to the Met Police to pay for cops.

Another £71.72 is for the London Fire Brigade and £77.09 for transport services.

The Greater London Authority, which includes Mr Khan’s office, takes the remaining £22.44.

The Sun told last week that he is on course to rake in £14million, most of it from motorists failing to pay the £12.50 daily ultra low emission zone (Ulez) charge.

City Hall Conservative Group leader Susan Hall said: “Sadiq Khan has taxed the life out of our city. Where has it all gone? Crime is out of control, traffic is at a standstill, nightlife is dead, house building’s virtually stopped and the green belt is at risk.

“To paraphrase the president of the USA, he’s a terrible mayor.”

A spokesman for the mayor said a record £1.16billion had been invested in policing this year, providing 935 neighbourhood cops.

He added: “Keeping Londoners safe is Sadiq’s top priority.”

A woman has claimed she was “unfairly” charged by easyJet when she was travelling from London Luton Airport to Paris – and she said the experience only got worse

Travelling to the airport can be a stressful experience, and it can be even worse when things go wrong. This is exactly what appeared to happen to one woman when her easyJet flight wasn’t what she expected for more than one reason.

Emi, who shares her life on TikTok under the username emilia.petcu, recounted her less-than-pleasant experience travelling from London Luton Airport to Paris. She felt “unfairly” overcharged and described her flight as a “poor experience”, which cast a shadow over her Parisian getaway.

In her video, Emi alleges that easyJet hit her with a £96.00 fee for a backpack she believed complied with the cabin policy and should have fit under the seat. She branded the last-minute charge as “unfair”, despite airlines’ usual reminders to passengers to verify baggage rules before flying.

But the troubles didn’t stop there, as she also claimed the aircraft was dirty, adding to her travel woes. Her post included the caption: “The experience only got worse on board. The airplane was dirty, with poor hygiene and cleanliness conditions.

“The flight was delayed without clear updates.”

Emi documented the journey, which took place on July 24, showing both the bill and the state of the plane. Visuals of crumbs and rubbish strewn around her seating area did little to improve her impression of the airline.

The video has racked up a fair number of views since being posted, sparking a flurry of comments from viewers sharing their diverse opinions and experiences.

One viewer recounted: “This happened to me. I complained to easyJet and they gave me the amount in a voucher.”

Another chimed in with a similar experience, adding: “I had the same thing at Luton.”

A third shared their luggage strategy: “I’ve used the same backpack for the last three to four years with different airlines.”

Meanwhile, another commenter offered straightforward advice: “Follow the rules, no charges – simple.”

Some commenters came to the airline’s defence, offering an alternative viewpoint. One person pointed out: “Please bear in mind the staff have six to eight minutes to clean the plane and, if they are late, it’s 90% of the time not their fault.

“It can be if the plane in front of them was late taking off or landing – it delays others.”

Another person wrote: “Blame the set of passengers for leaving the mess, not the crew. If they were to tidy it, the flight would be delayed and they would get bother from the airline for being late and the passengers too.”

In the video, Emi didn’t showcase her bag, leaving viewers unable to judge its size; she only displayed the receipt given to her by staff upon paying the fee.

easyJet has not commented on this particular case, but the airline did issue a statement regarding its baggage policy. It read: “easyJet’s bag policy is well understood and all customers can bring one small under seat bag for free.

“We provide clear information on bag allowances including dimensions clear when booking, via email before travel and on our boarding passes and our ground handlers check bags to ensure they will fit in the cabin, and in fairness to customers who have paid to bring additional bags.”

A man returned from his holiday to be slapped with a nasty penalty notice.

Marketing worker Leon Wright, 40, returned from a honeymoon with new wife Amy, 34, only to be greeted by a penalty notice from Richmond Council stuck through their letterbox.

Nestled above shops in East Twickenham, South West London, the Wrights are accustomed to ditching their waste in brightly coloured sacks on the pavement below their flat.

Richmond Council rules dictate that locals should keep their refuse indoors until after 8pm the night before the bin men arrive. However, Mr Wright, who popped out his trash at 3:25pm—mere hours before jetting off for a post-nuptial getaway—deems the fine unfair, insisting necessity drove his timing.

“I only put it out a few hours before. It was the last thing I did before we left for holiday and the latest time that I could leave it out,” Leon said.

“I came back from my honeymoon with a fixed penalty notice from Richmond council. It said that we had to pay it within ten days, but we couldn’t because we weren’t even there. It was very surprising. We had never had any problems with the council before.

“I do my best to follow the rules, but it was literally just a few hours before the collection window so I never thought they would send fines straight away.”

Leon’s pre-holiday rush saw him leave the bins out on May 27 before catching a 7.10pm flight from Heathrow, bound for an Athens-departing honeymoon cruise. Ten days on, Mr Wright and Amy came back from their jaunt to discover a parking fine slapped right on their doorstep.

Mr Wright insists the charge goes against government guidelines and says even after he highlighted this, the council has “refused” to scrap it. “It says in black and white on the GOV.uk website that you can’t issue penalties for leaving bins out a few hours early, which is exactly what they have done,” Leon added.

“They weren’t in the middle of the walkway or obstructing anyone. This is just a blatant cash grab to me. I am not paying it. This kind of thing just can’t happen. It is absolutely wrong. I will take them to court if it comes to that.”

The notice sent to him specifically mentions the offence under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 Section 87. In a move seen as little consolation, the council offered to prolong the deadline for settling the fine to August 19, tempting Leon with a reduced fee of £100.

Leon is holding firm on not paying a single penny. “It is definitely not what you want to see when you come back from holiday. Especially when you are trying to do your best. My neighbours couldn’t believe it. They were all shocked,” he said.

A spokesperson for Richmond Council saidL “Richmond Council is committed to keeping the borough’s streets clean, safe, and accessible for everyone. To help achieve this, we encourage residents to follow the guidance on when to put waste out for collection.

“Waste should only be placed out between 8pm the night before and 6am on the day of collection. When these rules are not followed, enforcement action may be taken where appropriate. We understand that residents can sometimes make genuine mistakes, which is why there is a clear appeals process in place. While we don’t comment on individual cases, any new information submitted through this process will be carefully considered.”

It comes four years after The Globe in London warned of “upsetting” themes in the play, and provided a number for The Samaritans.

Actor Christopher Biggins said: “Do we have to have signs for everything under the sun?

“It’s a joke. What they are trying to do is insulting to the mentality of theatre-goers.”

The Globe has also warned about themes of “violence, sexual references, misogyny and racism” in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, as well as “anti-semitism” in The Merchant of Venice.

In February, the University of the West of England slapped over 200 trigger warnings on Shakespeare’s work – including “bad weather” in The Tempest.

Brits jetting off on holiday have been warned that vaping in the wrong area at the airport could land them a £1,000 fine and see them denied boarding.

For many holidaymakers heading off somewhere sunny, a pre-takeoff pint is as much a part of the travel ritual as checking your passport 15 times and buying a small tube of toothpaste from Boots.

As night follows day, for those who enjoy nicotine, a drink often leads to a desire to smoke or vape – something that can prove difficult in an airport. Having a puff outside of designated smoking areas could bring their holiday to an abrupt end.

UK airports have banned smoking and vaping inside terminal buildings, and a recent crackdown means passengers can no longer assume they can vape freely while waiting to board. Fines for vaping or smoking in prohibited areas can be up to £1,000, with penalties starting at £50 for smoking in non-designated areas.

While smoking and vaping bans are widespread, there are limited exceptions at some airports where smokers and vapers can access designated outdoor areas, past security:

• Heathrow: No vaping allowed inside terminal buildings.

• Manchester: No vaping in terminals; outdoor smoking zone available.
• Stansted / Luton / Edinburgh / Glasgow / London City: Vaping prohibited indoors.
• Birmingham: Outdoor smoking and vaping areas beyond security.
• Liverpool: Heated outdoor space accessible after security.Bristol: Outdoor area available for smoking and vaping after security.

Mike Byers, who works at vape company WickdUp, said: “We’ve all been there – the pre-flight pint with a craving for a cigarette or a quick vape. But with the tightening of smoking and vaping rules at airports across the UK, travellers need to know that indulging in these habits could result in serious fines or even missed flights.

“With long waits, delays, and already expensive airports, the last thing you need is a penalty that could ruin your trip.”

Mike urges people to check the rules at the airport they’re flying from. “I can’t stress the importance of checking each airport’s specific smoking and vaping policies before heading to your gate. For many passengers, not knowing where you can legally vape or smoke could mean an unexpected fine – or missing your flight,” he said.

“If you’re flying from a busy terminal like Heathrow or Gatwick, it’s even more important to be aware of the specific zones where smoking or vaping is allowed. Some airports have invested in dedicated areas after security, but the rules differ from terminal to terminal. Never assume you can just light up anywhere — it could cost you more than your holiday.”
