Throughout their careers, Ozzy and The Police’s Sting, 74, were embroiled in a war of words.

During the filming of his hit reality series The Osbourne’s, Ozzy was filmed making a number of insults about the singer.

And at the Grammys in 2003, Sting asked to speak to Ozzy’s daughter, Kelly, to patch things up.

At the time, wife Sharon said: “We all bumped into each other on the red carpet and we all said how ridiculous it was and how words can hurt so many people.

“We’re all adults and all apologised and it was great.”

In the new doc, Ozzy speaks about his health, including battling sepsis and cracked vertebrae.

He said: “I am really f***ed up with this body of mine and as soon as I want to do anything.

“I went to the doctor and there’s a blood clot. My leg is about to fall off.

“But I can’t complain. 
I was actually rocking until I was 70 and then a trap door opened.

“I didn’t think I was going to live past 40.

“But if my life’s coming to an end, I really can’t complain, I’ve had a great life.

“But, hey, it could have been worse. I could be Sting.”

Despite being in pain, he travelled from LA for his final show on July 5 at Aston Villa’s stadium, in Birmingham.

Ozzy said: “The problem now is getting to England. But I’ve got to be there.

I used to take pills for fun. 
Now I take them to stay alive

“As I am getting on, 
it’s worse. It’s crippling me. I can’t walk, I can’t bend down. I’ll be sitting in a chair.”

“That’s the thing about getting older, I used to take pills for fun. Now I take them to stay alive.”

In a separate documentary for the BBC, called Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home, the rocker posed with Sharon and his dogs.

He said: “LA is one thing but the English summer is fantastic.

“It’s a new thing for us both. I’m looking forward to getting this gig over, hanging my mic up and spending some time with you.”

Sharon added: “I just want to live a life. Find a little bubble somewhere and just live out our life together.”

Ozzy died on July 22, just weeks after his farewell gig.

SHARON Osbourne has shared a glimpse into her life without Ozzy – and how she is being helped by Kelly and a winged friend.

TV star Sharon – who lost her beloved husband Ozzy in July – has ‘found her smile again’ after getting into falconry with daughter Kelly.

Alongside the heart-warming clip, Kelly said: “Today I introduced my mum to falconry and she loved it! Thank you @gerardsulter for putting a smile on my mum’s face too!”

“Mum, put your hand out,” Kelly instructs in the video.

Wearing a checked shirt, jeans and a leopard-print hat with dark-rimmed glasses, Ozzy’s daughter exudes the confidence of a professional owl handler.

As Sharon receives the bird, she regretfully says: “I don’t have anything to give you. Come on.”

Fans praised the sight and wrote: “There she is!!!! We’ve all missed seeing Sharon. Thank you Kelly.”

“Absolutely love this! So glad you both have somewhat of a distraction,” penned a second.

“So happy to see this! All the positive and healing vibes to you and your family,” remarked a third.

A fourth shared: “Spiritually, the owl symbolises wisdom, intuition, and a connection to the spirit world due to its nocturnal nature and ability to see in the dark. Lovely that your mum enjoyed it too.”

“I love this family more so for being so real, honest and vulnerable for all to see. The Osbourne’s have always embraced imperfection. They also embraced love,” praised a fifth.

Dressed in black with a white T-shirt, the star looked calm in the open field surrounded by dark skies.

Kelly previously shared a photo of herself with an owl and explained: “In all my sadness and grief I have found something that truly makes me happy!

“I never thought I would find my smile again through falconry but I did. I absolutely love being with the birds!” 

Last month, The Sun revealed how a documentary into the late star’s life had suddenly been pulled.

The special, which was called Coming Home, mysteriously vanished from the BBC schedule just 11 days after it was announced.

Filmed over three years, the documentary gave “unique and intimate access” to the whole family, including Ozzy, Sharon, 72, son Jack, 39, and daughter Kelly, 39.

It documents the late rocker’s life as he tried to peruse his dream of moving permanently back to the UK, after living in LA for decades.

The moving film was originally going to be called Home to Roost, however the project moved in a different direction as Ozzy’s health deteriorated.

Ozzy’s family, friends and fans were left devastated when it was revealed the heavy metal star had died aged 76 on July 22.

Speaking about postponing the documentary, a BBC spokesperson told The Sun: “Our sympathies are with the Osbourne family at this difficult time.

“We are respecting the family’s wishes to wait a bit longer before airing this very special film.

“The new tx date will be confirmed shortly.”

Ozzy’s tragic passing came just weeks after his last concert in Birmingham.

It was also the last time son Jack saw his dad, he shared in a new YouTube video.

“My dad was great. He was in a good mood he was happy,” he said.

“I woke up in Los Angeles to a knock on my house door at around 3.45 in the morning.

“Someone who has worked for my family for about 30 years now was knocking on my door and when I looked through my window and I saw it was him, I knew something bad had happened.

“I was informed that my father had passed.”

The grieving son continued: “So many thoughts, there was a level of like “okay, he’s not struggling. He’s not suffering anymore”. And that is something. 

“I wish he was still here, you know? I wish he was still with us all, but he was having a rough go and I think people saw that at the show.”

Jack rushed back to England to support his family, and prepare for the funeral, as well as a procession through Birmingham in his father’s memory.

Thousands of mourners lined the streets and left tributes at the Black Sabbath Bridge.

“I speak for the family when I saw this. We are so grateful for that and it meant so much…. it was validating because I know we weren’t alone”, Jack added.

The late rock legend’s son previously shared a heartwarming clip to Instagram and explained how hand-written letters, memorabilia, and merch were being “carefully preserved”.

Jack told how every item will be recorded on a digital database and given to the Osbourne family.

The icon’s funeral, a private ceremony held at the family home in Buckinghamshire, took place the following day.

Jack continued: “I actually shared this at my at my father’s funeral.

“There’s an interview with Keanu Reeves. He’s on some nighttime talk show or whatever and they asked him, ‘What do you think happens when you die?’

“And Keanu Reeves answer was, ‘I don’t know what happens when you die, but what I do know is the people that love you miss you the most’.

“I felt that immensely. He wasn’t just a father to me. He was my colleague. We worked together in so many capacities.

“I had recently moved, there was a period where I was between houses and I moved back in with him.

“So, he was my housemate in my late 30s and it was awesome. Me and the kids were living here. Just a friend, a text buddy, a joke cracker.”

The dad-of-four described Ozzy as “funny, and weird and awkward and clumsy and just hilarious and so insightful”, throughout his health battles.

Concluding the interview, Jack said: “He’s exploding through the universe and we’re all seeing it. So, I’ll just end with this, you know, thank you.”

‘HE LIVED HIS LIFE FULLY’

Shortly after his father’s death, Jack took to social media to share a touching tribute.

He said: “I haven’t really wanted to post anything since the passing of my father. My heart has hurt too much. 

“I’m gonna keep this short because he certainly hated long rambling speeches.

“He was so many things to so many people, but I was so lucky and blessed to be apart of a very small group that got to call him “Dad.” 

“My heart is full of so much sadness and sorrow, but also so much love and gratitude.”

Jack continued: “I got 14,501 days with that man and I know that is such a blessing. I think this quote best describes my father.

“Hunter S. Thompson once said: “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body… but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, ‘Wow! What a ride!'” 

He added: “That was my dad. He lived and he lived his life fully. I love you dad.”

In recent years, Ozzy had been battling numerous health conditions, including Parkinson’s.

His official death certificate lists ‘acute myocardial infarction’ and ‘out of hospital cardiac arrest’ under the cause of death section.

It also listed coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction as “joint causes” of Ozzy’s death.

In his final performance, Ozzy sang five songs in his own set, with fans waving torches from their phones during Mama, I’m Coming Home.

He finished his performance with Crazy Train, before confetti rained over a packed Villa Park.

FAMILY UNITED

The Osbourne family have fiercely defended their late patriarch since his death.

Jack yesterday hit out at Pink Floyd legend Roger Waters in a sweary rant over comments about Ozzy.

Roger told The Independent Ink: “Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him in whatever that state he was in his whole life.”

He added: “We’ll never know. The music, I have no idea. I couldn’t give a f**k.”

Roger finished by saying: “I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did.

“Have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do. I couldn’t care less, you know.”

Taking to his Instagram Story, Jack soon fired back at these comments.

He penned: “Hey @rogerwaters. F*** You. How pathetic and out of touch you’ve become.

“The only way you seem to get attention these days is by vomiting out bulls*** in the press.

“My father always thought you were a c**t – thanks for proving him right.”

Meanwhile, sister Kelly Osbourne last month slammed WWE star  Becky Lynch for her comments.

The wrestler made a fiery promo ahead of her Intercontinental Title match with Nicki Bella this Sunday.

Addressing the crowd Lynch said: “The only good thing that came outta here died a month ago.”

She added: “But in fairness to Ozzy Osbourne, he had the good sense to move to L.A. Because if I lived in Birmingham, I’d die too.”

Kelly said in a post afterwards: “Becky Lynch you are a disrespectful dirtbag! Birmingham would not p*** on you if you were on fire.

“Shame on the WWE for allowing such things to be said about my father and his home!”

They were left at the Black Sabbath Bridge after news of Ozzy’s death broke and during his funeral procession through Birmingham last week.

Jack told how every item will be recorded on a digital database and given to the Osbourne family.

A video showed all the tributes laid out in rows, being photographed and logged.

“Here’s how tributes for Ozzy Osbourne are being carefully preserved by Central BID,” read the caption.

“All items from the Black Sabbath Bridge and Navigation St Mural have now been moved to a secure location.

“Every piece is being laid out individually, catalogued and treated with care.

“Our team has been working to respectfully sort the items ensuring they’re preserved in the best possible condition.

“We will be working to create a digital record of every tribute over the next few weeks to be sent to Ozzy’s family.

“The flowers are being mulched and bagged, with the compost to be included at Ozzy’s final resting place.

“Thank you for all of your tributes.”

One emotional fan penned: “Such a beautiful way to respect us fans and allow the family to see how much your Dad was adored.”

Another wrote: “Imagine all the different stories in those letters and cards from people old and young, all over the world all being bought together by one person who had an impact on their lives in some way.”

“That is so awesome, Ozzy touched so many people all over the world. What a wonderful way to acknowledge his fans,” shared a third.

Someone else agreed: “This is amazing and show just how much you loved your dad and also respected his fans. You should all be proud of what you did for his legacy.”

It comes after Jack paid an emotional tribute to his dad and told how his heart has “hurt too much” to speak out.

Ozzy’s youngest son shared a short video compilation of clips and photographs of himself and his father.

The 39-year-old was seen supporting his mum Sharon and his sisters Kelly, 40, and Aimee, 41, at their dad’s funeral.

He appeared on the American reality TV show The Osbournes as a child alongside his father, sisters and mother.

Jack went on to say that the quote from the American author summed up his dad, adding “he lived his life fully.”

Meanwhile Sharon earlier revealed Ozzy’s poignant final words about his fans following his farewell Black Sabbath concert.

She told Pollstar: “It was the first time, I think, that anybody’s gone into retirement and done it, where the show is streamed and it goes to charity.

“So it’s the first time anybody has said goodnight like that, it’s the perfect way, when you’ve had such a long career, to end it – I never wanted Ozzy to just disappear without some big event.

“He [Ozzy] turned around and he said to me that night, he said, ‘I had no idea that so many people liked me’.”

Last Thursday, an “incredibly emotional” funeral service was held for the rocker, a family friend told The Sun.

The family home was decorated with pictures of Ozzy, and mourners were given a photograph of him to take home.

The singer’s nearest and dearest attended, joining his wife Sharon and his children Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis, his son from his first marriage to Thelma Riley.

His official death certificate lists ‘acute myocardial infarction’ and ‘out of hospital cardiac arrest’ under the cause of death section.

It also listed coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction as “joint causes” of Ozzy’s death.

Ozzy Osbourne’s family recently joined fans in paying an emotional farewell to the heavy metal star during an emotional procession in Birmingham.

The family statement announcing his death read: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love.

“We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”

Appearing on Friday’s Good Morning Britain, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, who has worked with both Ozzy’s wife Sharon and his son Jack, shared her condolences to the grieving family.

Ekin-Su, 30, was on Celebrity Big Brother with Sharon in 2024, where the two were friendly and bonded on the show.

Meanwhile, former Love Island star Ekin-Su is currently starring on Cooking with the Stars with Jack, 39, which was filmed before the death of his father.

Appearing on Friday’s GMB, Ekin-Su was asked about the heartbreaking news by hosts Kate Garraway and Adil Ray.

Ekin-Su said of Sharon: “She is such a motherly figure and I think she’s just so loving. Honestly, I feel like he was everything to Sharon and the family so for this to happen so tragically I just want Sharon to look after herself.”

Host Kate, 58, then jumped in saying: “She looked very vulnerable” to which Ekin-Su repeated: “Very vulnerable!” Kate continued: “We all wanted to hug her.”

Ekin-Su added: “Bless her, I’m sending all my love to their family. I mean Jack, such a sweet guy! A loss is always heartbreaking and when it’s such a known person and it’s such an iconic person that’s passed away, it hits us all.”

Host Adil, 51, then said: “It must be difficult for them as they have lived such a public life, of course all those reality TV shows that they did, suddenly these moments, these incredibly personal moments, ‘we want to see the funeral, we want to feel part of it’, but for them I wonder can you come out of that and really grieve on a personal level.”

To which Ekin-Su responded: “We are all obviously involved in it but I feel like that is quite private though and I feel like they do need some privacy and some time to grieve privately as well.”

It comes as Ozzy’s family recently joined fans in paying an emotional farewell to the heavy metal star during an emotional procession in Birmingham.

Sharon, who was married to the musician for more than four decades, became emotional as she stepped out of a car to view the hundreds of floral tributes and balloons laid around the Black Sabbath bench.

The former X Factor judge, 72, was helped out of the first vehicle in the cortege by her and Ozzy’s son Jack, who joined her at the event along with Ozzy and Sharon’s daughters Aimee and Kelly. At one emotional point, the family all raised their hands in a peace sign while paying their respects.

The family members wiped away tears at the bench as they inspected tributes, with members of the crowd shouting “we love you Ozzy”.

Jack Osbourne is set to return to our screens just days after the heartbreaking loss of his father, Ozzy Osbourne.

This weekend, Jack will make his first TV appearance on ITV since the unfortunate passing of his renowned rockstar father, Ozzy Osbourne, who sadly died at 76 years old on July 22. The 39-year-old television personality, who shot to fame at just 16 alongside his family on MTV’s At Home with the Osbournes, will be participating in the fifth series of ITV’s celebrity cooking competition, Cooking with the Stars, presented by Emma Willis.

In the pre-recorded episode scheduled to air this weekend, Jack will compete against seven other celebrities, hoping to impress the judges and secure the coveted Golden Frying Pan. ITV has assembled an impressive roster of celebrities for the new series, including Ekin-Su, EastEnders actress Natalie Cassidy, and former footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips, reports the Express.

Viewers will likely already be familiar with the format of the competition – in each episode, the two celebrities with the lowest scores face off in the ultimate cook-off, with one contestant being eliminated immediately.

The stars will need to pull out all the stops to impress the judges if they hope to progress to the next round.

Just last week, Jack, his family and fans worldwide were left devastated by the sudden passing of Ozzy, who had been battling the debilitating disease Parkinson’s for years.

His death occurred just days after he’d completed his final Black Sabbath’s Back To The Beginning gig in Birmingham, where it all started for Ozzy and his original bandmates.

In 2003, with his renowned wife Sharon Osbourne, 72, by his side, Ozzy was informed that his body carried a rare genetic mutation PARK 2 also known as PRKN2, giving him an early indication that he would eventually face the challenges of Parkinson’s.

While no official cause of death has been announced yet, Ozzy’s loved ones and fans have witnessed his health deteriorate over the years. The rock star even suffered a fall resulting in a terrifying neck and spinal injury back in 2019, leading to the father-of-six undergoing numerous surgeries up until 2023.

Aware that his health was not improving, Ozzy made the tough decision, supported by his family, to perform one last time in his own farewell concert, which was greatly appreciated by his adoring fans.

Cooking with the Stars kicks off on Sunday, August 3 at 8pm on ITV1.

OZZY Osbourne’s warts-and-all autobiography will be published “uncensored” after his death aged 76 – with a foreword from his wife Sharon.

His Last Rites book, finished just before he passed away, will recount his relationship with hairstylist Michelle Pugh, which spanned from 2012 to 2016 and drove his wife Sharon to nearly kill herself.

The revelation shattered his marriage and Sharon, then 63, was left blindsided by the betrayal. She bravely revealed she attempted to end her life after learning the full extent of the affair.

“I took, I don’t know how many pills,” she said. “I just thought, ‘My kids are older, they are fine and can take care of themselves.'”

A publishing source said yesterday: “This book was basically Ozzy’s last confessions and contains a lot of passages about how he is sorry for the affair.

“As he was always brutally honest during his life, it’s been decided not a word will be changed, even about painful times in his life and how his affair affected Sharon.”

The insider added it is “early days” in terms of Sharon’s grief, but she will be asked to write a foreword to the book.

They said: “Sharon is made of stern stuff and the publishers know she will want to leave her fingerprint on this book. Writing its foreword will also be cathartic for her and act as a way of laying Ozzy to rest.”

Another source said the book contains Ozzy’s epitaph. He had joked before his death that he wanted four words carved on his gravestone: “Bats taste like s***.”

But an insider said: “This was just a joke and Ozzy wanted something a lot more profound on his gravestone.

“This book will reveal it.”

Last Rites already has a cover, showing Ozzy holding his hands in a prayer-style gesture to his face.

A blurb for the upcoming book, set to be published in October, says: “Last Rites is the shocking, bitterly hilarious, never-before-told story of Ozzy’s descent into hell.

One excerpt from the autobiography features Ozzy saying: “People say to me, if you could do it all again, knowing what you know now, would you change anything? I’m like, f*** no. If I’d been clean and sober, I wouldn’t be Ozzy. If I’d done normal, sensible things, I wouldn’t be Ozzy.

“Look, if it ends tomorrow, I can’t complain. I’ve been all around the world. Seen a lot of things. I’ve done good… and I’ve done bad.

“But right now, I’m not ready to go anywhere.”

Fans have praised Sharon’s loyalty as, in the clip, the mum of three hits back at Megan Hauserman, then a contestant on Rock of Love: Charm School, who had insulted Ozzy. Megan had said: “The only thing you’ve managed to do as a celebrity is to watch your husband’s brain turn into a vegetable.”

But Sharon turned to the audience and said: “I feel so sorry for her,” before standing up, calmly taking a sip from her cup — and then hurling the rest of the drink in Megan’s face. The explosive exchange happened during the 2008 series of Sharon’s show, which saw contestants compete to develop proper etiquette in order to win $100,000 (£73,000).

Megan, a model and actress, was eliminated in episode four of her series, shortly after the showdown with Sharon, then aged 56 and a household name in the music and TV industries in the US and the UK. She told her audience: “They can f*** with me… I don’t give a sh** — but not my family.”

She married Ozzy in Hawaii, US, in July 1982 and went on to have three children; Jack, Kelly, Aimee, with the music legend. The family’s light-hearted reality TV series, The Osbournes, was a huge hit and ran for three seasons between 2002 and 2005. Ozzy died on Tuesday “surrounded by love” following a battle with Parkinson’s disease.

IT was the craziest start to a love affair that survived against the odds for more than 40 years.

He recalled: “‘No, I don’t think so’, I said, all innocent.

“But it didn’t take Einstein to work out what had happened.

“There was a massive bag of coke on the table next to a ripped-up envelope with ‘Sharon’ written on it in felt-tip pen.

“Sharon gave me a monumental ­bollocking when she saw it, shouting and cursing and telling me I was a f***ing disaster.

‘Drunkest and loudest’

“I guess I won’t be shagging her any time soon, then, I thought.

“But she came back the next day, to find me lying in a puddle of my own p**s, smoking a joint.

“She said, ‘Look, if you want to get your s**t together, we want to manage you’.”

That ill-fated meeting led to an incredible marriage that lasted 33 years — despite Ozzy’s drug and sex addiction and even his attempt to strangle Sharon.

He admitted: “I fell for Sharon so badly, man . . . she saved my life every day.”

In one of his last interviews, Ozzy described the reality TV star and X Factor judge as his “soulmate”.

He said: “Sometimes I love her, sometimes I don’t love her, sometimes I’m angry with her, sometimes I’m crazy about her, sometimes I’m very jealous of her, sometimes I wanna f***ing kill her.

“But through it all, at the end of the day, I love her more than anything in the world.”

As Sharon took over running Ozzy’s professional life, the Brummie lad quickly realised that he had never met a woman like her before.

In his 2009 biography, I Am Ozzy, he revealed: “I’d never come across a girl who was like me.

“Wherever we went, we were always the drunkest and the loudest.

“I learned that when Sharon is on a mission, she’ll throw herself at it, lock, stock and barrel, and not stop fighting until well after the bell’s rung.

“I trusted Sharon like I’d never trusted anyone before on the business side of things.”

When Sharon was relaunching Ozzy as a solo star with a new album, Blizzard Of Ozz, and a tour following his firing from Black Sabbath in 1979, the star’s private life was falling apart.

He was married to Thelma Riley, had adopted her son Elliot from an earlier marriage and they had two kids of their own, Jessica and Louis.

After months of trying, Ozzy finally bedded Sharon after leaping into her bath at a hotel near Shepperton Studios.

He recalled: “Me and Sharon were bonking all over the place.

“We couldn’t stop.

“Some nights, Sharon would go out of one door and Thelma would come in the other.

“I was knackered all the time, ­having two women on the go.

“I don’t know how those French blokes do it.

“When I was with Sharon, I’d end up calling her ‘Tharon’, which earned me more than a few black eyes.

“I’d never known what it was like to fall in love before I met Sharon.

“We were inseparable.

“I realised that when you’re in love, it’s not just about the messing around in the sack, it’s about how empty you feel when they’re gone. And I couldn’t stand it when Sharon was gone.”

But when he split up with Thelma in 1981, Sharon bore the brunt of Ozzy’s anger.

He said: “I was a wreck.

“I was in love with Sharon, but at the same time I was cut to pieces by ­losing my family.

“I’d get drunk and try to hit her, and she’d throw things at me.

“Wine bottles, gold discs, TVs — you name it, it would all come flying across the room.

“I ain’t proud to admit that a few of my punches reached their target.”

But the following year, Ozzy and Sharon married in Hawaii on the way to a gig.

The rocker didn’t make it back to their hotel room after the ­ceremony.

Sharon recalled: “The manager called and said, ‘Your husband is lying in the hall, will you come and get him’ and I said, ‘No I won’t’.”

While Sharon managed Ozzy’s soaring solo career, the couple welcomed their three children Aimee, 41, Kelly, 40, and Jack, 39.

But she could not curb her husband’s appetite for booze, illegal drugs and prescription pills.

‘Slumped in corridor’

When he got violent, Sharon would take her revenge like the time she took a hammer to all his gold records.

But seven years after their wedding, Ozzy tried to strangle Sharon while high on drugs and Russian vodka, at their 17th Century home in Little Chalfont, Bucks.

The family had gone to their bedrooms after returning from a local Chinese restaurant to celebrate Aimee’s sixth birthday.

Before lunging at Sharon, Ozzy stripped naked and told her: “We’ve had a little talk and it’s clear that you have to die.”

She pressed the panic button, ­alerting the police.

Ozzy woke up in a cell the next morning with no recollection of the attack, to find he had been charged with attempted murder.

Three months later, ahead of his court case, Sharon visited the rehab centre where Ozzy had been sent to dry out.

In his autobiography, Ozzy recalled how she told him: “I’m going to drop the charges.

“I don’t believe you’re capable of attempted murder, Ozzy.

People keep asking, ‘How come you and Sharon have stayed together all this time?’

“You’re a sweet, gentle man.

“But when you get drunk, Ozzy Osbourne disappears and someone else takes over.

“I want that other person to go away.

“I don’t want to see him again.”

But Ozzy instead developed a p­rescription pill addiction.

Sharon almost died from colon ­cancer during the making of their Noughties fly-on-the-wall MTV show, The Osbournes.

While she was still undergoing chemo, the couple retook their vows on New Year’s Eve 2002.

Ozzy revealed: “People keep asking, ‘How come you and Sharon have stayed together all this time?’.

“My answer was the same then as it is now. ‘I’ve never stopped telling my wife that I love her; I’ve never stopped taking her out for dinner; I’ve never stopped surprising her with ­little gifts’.

“Unfortunately, I’d never stopped drinking and taking drugs, so the ­ceremony ended much the same as our original wedding — with me slumped in a corridor, p*ssed out of my brains.”

A year later, Ozzy had a near-fatal quad bike accident on their estate that required multiple surgeries and affected his long-term mobility. In the ­aftermath of the crash, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, only going public with the condition in 2020.

Meanwhile, Sharon — who described their life together as “a Shakespeare play” — slipped Ozzy extra sleeping pills in 2016 to extract a confession that he had been having an affair with his hairdresser.

It was also revealed that there were more mistresses.

Devastated, Sharon tried to kill herself but was found by a cleaner.

Jessie Breakwell, who worked as their nanny, said: “Ozzy was obsessed with her.

“They’d giggle and make jokes.

“It was genuine love.”

After Ozzy went to rehab for sex addiction, the couple reconciled and renewed their vows in Las Vegas in 2017.

Sharon admitted: “I love him.

“I can leave if I want, take half of everything and go. I don’t want to.”

1. Ozzy once told Sharon: “Don’t cremate me, whatever you do.

“I want to be put in the ground, in a nice garden somewhere, with a tree over my head.

“A crabapple tree, preferably, so the kids can make wine out of me and get pissed out of their heads.

“As for what they’ll put on my headstone, I ain’t under any illusions.

“That was it for me.”

3. The rocker began tattooing himself as a teenager while growing up in Birmingham.

He said: “I even put a smiley face on each of my knees to cheer myself up when I was sitting on the bog in the morning.”

Decades later he had ‘thanks’ tattooed on his right palm.

He said: “It seemed like a brilliant idea at the time.

“How many times do you say ‘thanks’ to people during your lifetime?

“Tens of thousands, probably.

“Now all I had to do was raise my right hand.”

4. The Osbournes had a donkey called Sally, who used to sit in the living room with Ozzy and watch Match Of The Day.

5. Former slaughterhouse worker Ozzy claimed to have killed his family’s cats while high.

He recalled: “I was ­taking drugs so much I was a f***ed.

“The final straw came when I shot all our cats.

“We had about 17, and I went crazy and shot them all.

“My wife found me under the piano in a white suit – a shotgun in one hand and a knife in the other.”

6. The Prince of Darkness was interested in the Bible.

He said: “I’ve tried to read it several times.

“But I’ve only ever got as far as the bit about Moses being 720 years old, and I’m like, ‘What were these people smoking back then?’”

7. Ozzy met the late Queen at the Royal Variety Performance.

He recalled: “I was standing next to Cliff Richard.

“She took one look at the two of us, and said, “Oh, so this is what they call variety, is it?” then cracked up laughing.

“I honestly thought Sharon must have slipped some acid into my ­cornflakes that morning.”

8. Ozzy loved putting hidden messages in songs.

He said: “On No Rest For The Wicked, if you play Bloodbath In Paradise backwards, you can clearly hear me saying, ‘Your mother sells whelks in Hull’.”

Cricket legend Graham Thorpe ‘asked wife to help end his life’ before being hit by a train

Graham Thorpe asked his wife Amanda to help him end his suffering before he decided to take his own life, an inquest has heard.

Thorpe was found dead on August 4 after being hit by a train. The England cricket legend had been struggling with anxiety and depression before his death.

The 55-year-old had made an attempt on his life in May 2022 and spent a lengthy period of time in hospital recovering. That came after he had been sacked by the England and Wales Cricket Board as a coach of the England Test team following an incident on an Ashes tour of Australia.

Sharon Osbourne drew up heartbreaking two-year plan for Ozzy’s final days

Ozzy Osbourne faced a lengthy battle with his Parkinson’s disease before passing away at the age of 76, just days after his last ever gig. But his wife Sharon had long been determined to make his final years as comfortable as possible.

Ozzy and Sharon had previously expressed their desire to relocate back to the UK from Los Angeles. The couple have been living in the US for more than 20 years, but Birmingham-born Ozzy had said he was “desperate to come home”.

Sharon is said to have spent the past two years preparing for her husband’s final moments, renovating the Grade II-listed Buckinghamshire mansion they bought in 1993 to provide him with every comfort.

Plans were approved in 2023 for a ‘rehab wing’ with a health and welfare exercise studio along a flat for an on-site nurse, an art studio, pool house orangery with spa, wet room, and changing area. She was also the brains behind his farewell show after he was forced to cancel a series of concerts in 2023.

Beach evacuated in popular holiday hotspot after mystery fish ‘attacks tourist’

A Spanish beach at a popular holiday hotspot was cleared this week after a tourist was attacked by an unidentified marine creature. A red flag was lifted on Tuesday morning (July 22) at Playa de Palma, the main beach in Majorca’s capital, after a woman sustained a “severe bite” to her leg.

The holidaymaker, reportedly an 85-year-old Italian national, emerged from the water with “part of her calf torn off”, according to the Majorca Daily Bulletin. Lifeguards took the decision to clear the coastline to conduct a hunt for the animal, though the beach reopened roughly an hour later when no creature was discovered.

I agreed to move my neighbour’s fence – I was gobsmacked when I saw what they did

A homeowner was left gobsmacked when what they believed was a neighbourly favour resulted in a tradesman rocking up and beginning to lay tarmac across their property.

The resident revealed that their next-door neighbours had requested assistance to access their own driveway – and they’d initially agreed to shift a fence.

BLACK Sabbath fans were left stunned by sky-high prices at Villa Park – with a pint setting punters back up to £8 during the legendary band’s final hometown gig.

The Back to the Beginning supershow, held at Aston Villa’s stadium in Birmingham, marks Ozzy Osbourne’s last ever live performance – and the first time the full band have played together in two decades.

But for many fans, the bar and food prices were almost as jaw-dropping as the music.

Inside the venue, a pint of Poretti lager was going for £8, with a half pint at £4.

A pint of Somersby cider wasn’t far behind at £7, or £3.50 for a half.

Cocktail fans after something stronger had to fork out £13 for a draught Rum Punch – while even a bottle of water cost £3.50.

In the Doug Ellis stand, the prices were just as steep – with a Carlsberg Pilsner priced at £6.50, a glass of wine for £7, and both a gin and tonic and a vodka lemonade costing £7.50 each.

And it wasn’t just the drinks that had fans digging deep.

Food options were limited and pricey too – with a sausage roll setting you back £5, a steaky pasty £6.50, and Yardbirds chicken and chips costing a whopping £15.

Even the basics weren’t cheap – a can of Coke was £3.50, a bar of chocolate £2.50, and a bag of Walkers crisps £2.20.

Fancy a hot drink? That’s £3.95 for a tea and £4.50 for an espresso.

Fans weren’t impressed.

Some took to social media to vent their frustration, saying the prices were “festival-level rip-offs” and that it “left a bad taste before the music even started”.

One gig-goer told us: “I knew it’d be expensive but £8 for a pint and £7 for chips? That’s taking the Mick.”

Another said: “You expect a bit of markup, but this is madness.

Ozzy’s not the only one going out with a bang – so is my bank account.”

The backlash over food and drink prices follows recent criticism surrounding the cost of VIP meet-and-greet packages with Ozzy Osbourne, set to take place during his upcoming appearance at Comic Con Midlands.

Fans are being charged £666 for the ‘Ultimate Sin’ VIP package – which includes a group photo with Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly, and Jack. But only two people are allowed per photo (except under-5s).

Want an autograph? That’ll cost extra.

Ozzy will sign a book for £225, or a poster, album or toy for £375. And if you want him to sign your guitar or mic?

That’ll be £750 – bringing the total package cost to £1,416.

Fan backlash has been fierce. One wrote: “Laughable prices, genuinely laughable.”

Another joked: “Time to start selling me kidney.”

While fans might be fuming over costs, the buzz inside Villa Park is electric.

This is a historic night – the last time Birmingham’s own heavy metal gods will share the stage in their hometown.

Ozzy, who’s battled serious health issues in recent years, admitted he won’t be performing a full set.

He said: “We’re only playing a couple of songs each.

“I don’t want people thinking ‘we’re getting ripped off’, because it’s just going to be … what’s the word? … a sample.”

He added: “I’ll be there, and I’ll do the best I can. So all I can do is turn up.”

The Back to the Beginning festival line-up is packed with legends, including Metallica, Slayer and Pantera – all joining in to celebrate Black Sabbath’s final bow.

Fans from across the UK – and some flying in from overseas – have packed out the stadium to say one last goodbye to the band that helped invent heavy metal.
