AN OASIS fan says she slipped over just yards from where a man plunged to his death at the reunion concert.

The man – aged in his 40s – was understood to be sitting in the upper tier of the stadium when he plunged to his death at Wembley on Saturday night.

The highest stands in the 90,000-seat venue are some 170ft above the ground.

Police and paramedics attended to the man but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Gallagher brothers said they were “shocked and saddened” to hear about the fan’s death.

Now, other fans have blasted the “deathtrap” Wembley stadium, calling for the venue to be “held accountable”.

Gig-goers who danced the night away to Wonderwall say they were forced to hobble along low railings with a steep drop and a “lethal” slippery floor that was “like an ice rink.”

Some are labelling it “horrendous” given “the amount of money they’ve spent on this new Wembley”.

Jade, 31, from Essex, was at the gig and stumbled in a domino effect of falling fans, suffering minor injuries.

A man a few rows up from her fell down, tumbling into her and knocking her down too.

“The floor was slippery from loads of spilled drinks,” she told The Sun.

“My bag got soaked. Everyone in the seated section was jumping and dancing and way drunker than other concerts.”

She fell onto the row in front of her about halfway through the concert, and people helped her up.

“I just got up and carried on. But today I have a dodgy ankle, a few bruises and hurt knees.”

“People were absolutely w***ered,” recalled another on Reddit.

“A bloke near us collapsed, tumbled over a couple of seats and had to be evacuated by the medics – everywhere you looked people were out of their minds.

“It occurred to me that all it would take is one wrong step up there and you’d be a goner.”

One fan said on Facebook: “You’d think a modern venue like Wembley would have sufficient guards for this kind of thing.”

“The top tier is bloody steep. It’s dreadful the barrier is so low,” added another on Facebook.

Not everyone agrees that the stadium is to blame.

One fan said on a fan group: “18 years worth of events, most with 90,000 people attending, and never an incident like it. It’s a tragic accident, and blaming it on the venue or security is ridiculous.”

An eyewitness to the fatal fall wrote on Facebook: “He fell from the top tier into our block. My friend’s daughter did CPR until the paramedics arrived.”

Another shaken onlooker, who was sitting just three seats away, recalled: “Hearing the bang and seeing the aftermath was just something that will stay with you forever.”

“The atmosphere was incredible,” commented a third on Facebook.

“We were nearing the end of the concert, when in the middle of Wonderwall, he fell right in front of us, a few metres away.

“It was very shocking and we left Wembley very upset.”

Oasis released a statement about the man, saying that they are “shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of a fan at the show last night.

“Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved.”

Before singing Live Forever on Sunday, Liam Gallagher appeared to pay his respects to the late fan.

He said: “This one’s for all the people who can’t be here tonight, but who are here if you know what I mean, and aren’t they looking lovely.”

But Liam has used that line before singing that hit song on the other tour dates.

In the gig after Ozzy Osborne passed away, the Britpop duo paid tribute by displaying an image of the Black Sabbath singer on stage during Live Forever, then dedicated Rock ‘n’ Roll Star, to Ozzy.

In a statement on Sunday, the Metropolitan Police confirmed a man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene after sustaining “injuries consistent with a fall”.

A Wembley Stadium spokesperson said: “Last night, Wembley Stadium medics, the London Ambulance Service and the police attended to a concert goer who was found with injuries consistent with a fall.

“Despite their efforts, the fan very sadly died.

“Our thoughts go out to his family, who have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers.

“The Police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.

“Tonight’s Oasis concert will go ahead as planned.”

Saturday’s gig was the fourth of seven London shows on Oasis’ blockbuster reunion tour.

The band crashed ticket sites when they announced they were making a comeback last year – as more than 14 million fans tried to secure a seat at the highly-anticipated gigs.

Last month Liam and Noel reunited on stage in Cardiff for the first time since a backstage bust-up broke up the band 16 years ago.

The Britpop icons returned to their hometown of Manchester for five dates in July.

They performed a 23-song setlist of classic hits, including Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back in Anger and Live Forever to a roaring crowd of 80,000 people at Heaton Park.

They will head to America later this month before returning to London for two more gigs in September.

Wembley Stadium said in a statement to The Sun: “Wembley Stadium operates to a very high health and safety standard, fully meeting legal requirements for the safety of spectators and staff, and is certified to and compliant with the ISO 45001 standard.

“We work very closely and collaboratively with all relevant event delivery stakeholders – including event owners, local authorities, the Sports Ground Safety Authority and the police – to deliver events to high standards of safety, security and service for everyone attending or working in the venue.”

Spanish tourists have been handed a list of 10 strict rules they must follow while visiting Malaga. The new campaign by the local council is aimed at reducing bad behaviour

British holidaymakers visiting Malaga are now being confronted with a fresh initiative designed to tackle unruly conduct in the city.

The local authority’s “Improve your stay in Málaga drive features a comprehensive list of 10 guidelines that travellers are encouraged to follow, in a bid to curb inappropriate behaviour. The guidelines tackle a broad spectrum of problems, ranging from attire standards and hygiene to sound disturbance and the responsible operation of bicycles and e-scooters.

Tourists are being urged to remain considerate and behave in a manner that respects peaceful coexistence with residents of the local community.

Additional measures highlighted by the council include the ‘Keep the City Clean’ drive, requesting visitors to utilise the rubbish bins available and the public conveniences scattered throughout the city, whilst also ensuring respect for historic sites, green spaces, and municipal amenities such as park seating.

Local authorities have also emphasised the significance of refraining from shouting or blasting music during evening hours in residential neighbourhoods, advising tourists to “do not be conspicuous.” Dressing suitably within the city represents another concern mentioned, with the council stating simply “dress completely.”

This likely refers to avoiding venturing into urban areas shirtless or in swimwear, as such clothing is only acceptable on the beach.

A further aspect of the initiative concentrates on transportation, with the message “Sidewalks Are for Pedestrians,” highlighting that cycles and scooters must stick to their designated routes. The initiative has received extensive promotion – across social media platforms, on buses and at every essential location throughout the city.

Málaga has previously tackled reports of antisocial conduct by ramping up penalties for violations including dropping litter and excessive noise levels.

The previous year also witnessed pandemonium surrounding overtourism in the city, with locals marching through the streets in protest against the deluge of visitors. Residents argued they were being forced out of their communities due to short-term holiday rentals, whilst also voicing concerns about disruptive behaviour and certain tourists’ conduct.

During the peak of the protests, some demonstrators even stuck anti-tourism stickers throughout the area, featuring messages such as “This used to be my home”, “go f****** home”, “stinking of tourist” and “this used to be the city centre,” used.

Protests regarding mass tourism and anti-tourism sentiment took place across Spain throughout 2024, with numerous campaigns continuing into 2025. In the opening quarter of 2025, Spain reportedly received 17.1 million overseas visitors. For the complete year of 2024, this number reached a record-shattering 94 million.

The nation remains particularly beloved by Brits, who descend upon the country seeking a sunny getaway.

Stag do hotspots are witnessing a rowdy resurgence of booze-fuelled Brits but cities are now clamping down on disorderly visitors after numbers spiked again.

While many of the go-to destinations in Europe got some respite during and after the pandemic, the amount of tourists heading over for a good time are on the up – and with it comes problems for locals. Now, some cities are fighting back as they look to restore order again.

“The bachelor parties dropped off sharply during Covid and now they are picking up again,” Budapest tour guide Daniel Seres divulged to The Telegraph, discussing the popular Hungarian destination. “We need the income from tourists, but these big party groups only go on the free guided city tours [rather than paid], and they keep locals awake as they sing, stumble around and are sick on the streets.”

Budapest has battled the disruption, banning “beer bikes” in 2017 over noise and safety issues. Come 2020, steps were taken to rein in the red light district, and by 2023, District VII escalated fines for noisy nights and indecent acts, distributing English leaflets at airports alerting tourists of the heftier penalties. That year also saw the power granted to establishments to reject bookings from large groups.

But it’s not just Budapest that’s tightening the reins; six additional European destinations have had their fill of misbehaving stag groups, reports the Express.

Amsterdam

In 2023, the Dutch capital banned boozy guided tours and cannabis smoking in its infamous Red Light District. In the same year, Amsterdam also launched its “Stay Away” digital campaign targeting young British men with warnings about fines and arrests. Restrictions were also introduced on short-term rentals and alcohol sales during specific hours.

Barcelona

The Spanish city’s actions against undesirable tourists include strict enforcement of noise and behaviour fines, cracking down on unlicensed party promoters and short-term rental properties, and implementing tighter restrictions on public drinking.

Prague

The iconic Czech city of Prague has also prohibited “beer bikes”, increased police presence in central areas and discouraged promotions related to sex tourism and stag parties, including stag tours.

Krakow

The Polish city of Krakow has strictly regulated advertisements for strip clubs and “gentlemen’s entertainment” and is discussing stricter curbs on alcohol sales. Smoking has also been restricted to designated areas in some venues.

Lisbon

Actions include tightening regulations on short-term rentals, particularly in popular nightlife districts like Bairro Alto and Alfama, and increasing police patrols on weekends.

Dublin

Many hotels and venues in the Irish capital have adopted policies to refuse bookings for stag and hen parties. Targeted messaging also promotes “cultural” tourism over alcohol-fueled excursions.

Police met the flight and six men left the plane before reaching their destination

A rowdy Brit stag do saw a plane diverted before police boarded the flight and escorted them off. The six-man group were marched off of the aircraft after it landed half way to its intended destination.

Witness Arron Davies, who was travelling with friends Mike and Scott, said two of the members on the stag do were allegedly vaping in their seats whilst drinking heavily and being abusive towards the stewards.

During the easyJet flight from London Gatwick to Marrakesh, Morocco, the men were allegedly warned six times before the staff took action. Arron, Mike and Scott, of Newport, south Wales, watched as the pilot announced that the flight would land in Faro airport, Portugal.

The diverted aircraft was greeted by eight Portuguese police officers who dealt with the group. Two men were led off whilst the other four stag do members made their way off the plane.

“The four friends were annoyed that their two mates had ruined their trip,” Arron said. “The men were vaping in their seats and toilet, drinking heavily and to my opinion already drunk or close to when boarding. They were being abusive towards staff on the flight.”

He added: “They were being loud and using a lot of bad language despite children being on the flight.” He alleged: “They were warned about six times, but every time the one man muttered when the staff walked away, making the problem worse.

“One of the men gave up and walked towards the exit when he realised how serious his actions were being taken. The other man stayed in his seat and was escorted out by up to eight police officers, four getting in the plane from either side.

“The flight steward was very good at his job dealing with this issue on the flight, he gave them many chances. I would call the guy a true asset to easyJet. His level of professionalism was on point even though a lot of abuse was aimed at him.

“He kept his composure and made me feel I was still safe even with the drama happening in front of me.”

An easyJet spokesperson said: “This flight from London Gatwick to Marrakech on 19 May diverted to Faro and was met by police upon arrival due to a group of passengers behaving disruptively onboard. Once the passengers had left the aircraft, the flight then continued to Marrakech.

“Our cabin crew are trained to assess and evaluate all situations and acted quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other passengers was not compromised at any time. The safety and wellbeing of our passengers and crew is always easyJet’s priority and we do not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour onboard.”

AN EASYJET passenger was left petrified after a group of rowdy “drunk” Brits turned her Ibiza flight into a “nightclub”.

Furious Spaniard Erika Barrachina claimed she suffered a “panic attack” after the mid-air raucous where she had to cope with “scum” passengers.

The Ibiza resident blasted that these type of tourists should never have been allowed to board the plane in the first place.

Shocking footage showed a packed plane with passengers appearing to bang on luggage compartments and yell: “Come on Ibiza!”

Multiple travellers appeared to be waving their arms and legs around while sat during the loud journey.

And some who seemingly found the whole situation hilarious decided to record the noisy chanting.

The Spanish local said that her “flight from London to Ibiza was absolutely horrible“.

The passenger said she was “scared” while travelling on the jet “full of real English animals”.

“Everyone standing, screaming, guys hitting each other, drinking bottles of alcohol one after the other and stopping the flight attendants from doing their job,” she added.

The appalled passenger called her experience: “Real hell.”

She said of the footage which she managed to record: “This video is the just the end because I couldn’t film what happened during the journey.”

Barrachina also claimed that Brit passengers were drunk and high before boarding.

She continued: “Taking pills and drinking alcohol at the same time, which I saw with my own eyes.

“It was a really wild 2.5 hour flight.”

The Spanish passenger raged: “This shouldn’t be allowed. They shouldn’t let scum like this get on a plane or sell alcohol on board.

“We don’t want this type of tourism in Ibiza, they should stay at home.”

She branded the uncontrollable Brits “wild animals”.

The Ibiza resident also told a local Ibizan newspaper: “I’m not afraid of flying because I’ve flown around the world but I had a panic attack because it was like being in a pub, in a nightclub, but in the air.”

She claimed that multiple air stewards asked some of the passengers for their documentation, only to be told: “F**k off.”

The “wild” passengers were let off the plane after reaching Ibiza airport and identifying themselves.

EasyJet told The Sun: “We can confirm that flight EZY2307 from Luton to Ibiza on May 16 was met by police on arrival due to a group of passengers behaving in a disruptive manner.

“The safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew is always easyJet’s priority.

“Whilst such incidents are rare we take them very seriously and do not tolerate disruptive behaviour onboard.”

Barrachina posted the footage on Saturday – one day before thousands of people marched in Canary Islands capitals as part of a new anti-mass tourism protest.

Locals in the Balearic Islands, which include Ibiza, are due to stage their protest on June 15.
