I’m A Celebrity bosses confused after Christine McGuinness’ wild claims

The latest series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is due to hit our screens this weekend with celebs like Jack Osbourne, Martin Kemp and Ruby Wax set to take part

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! bosses have been left stumped after Christine McGuinness repeatedly claimed she would be appearing on the show, when she isn’t part of this year’s line-up.

Just weeks ago the mum-of-three hinted that she would be going into the jungle but she hasn’t been announced to be in the show by ITV. It has been said that ITV bosses are “angry” and “confused” after the star suggested she could be taking on the challenge.

The 37-year-old seems to say she would be on I’m A Celeb when she appeared on the Pride of Britain Awards red carpet back in October. Christine said she is usually asked “every year” but the thoughts of leaving her children has always been overwhelming.

But she said this year could be different as she said she thought “F*** it, why not” which many took as thought they could expect to see her on their screens.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Christine said: “I always get asked and it is one of those shows, every year, would you ever do it?

“And I always say there’s no way, I don’t think I could be away from my children, and I would be scared of the creepy crawlies, I have sensory issues and I have never been outside of Europe so just flying over there would be quite a challenge.

“Trying to get over to the jungle might be a bit of a mission but yeah, let’s see. I think this year most likely I’d be like f*** it, why not.”

The full contestant list was released this week and Christine’s name wasn’t on it. It’s thought bosses aren’t too pleased with Christine’s claims and instead think she should have shut the rumours down.

A source said: “ITV bosses were definitely confused when they saw the reports suggesting Christine had ‘signed up’ for I’m A Celeb.

“Usually, a celebrity would shut down speculation, so Christine appearing to confirm her appearance really infuriated those working behind the scenes.”

Christine shares three children, twins Penelope and Leo, and daughter Felicity, with ex-husband Paddy McGuinness. The pair still live together and co-parents their three children.

The parents have highlighted their children’s autism in recent years and Christine has also spoken about being diagnosed with autism and ADHS herself.

Christine has recently said that she had to consider whether she wanted to remain in the spotlight or not in order to protect her kids.

Speaking to The Mirror, she said: “I’ve had to think if I am in the right industry, and if I can continue. It may be what I enjoy and love, but when i think about my children and how the attention is going to affect their lives I have questioned it and if it’s right for me.”

Big Brother 2025 finalists confirmed as two housemates forced to leave

Two Big Brother housemates were forced to leave the ITV show immediately

Two Big Brother housemates were forced to leave the ITV show immediately in the latest episode.

In scenes which were aired tonight (Thursday, November 13) Marcus and Teja were booted out just one day before the grand final. It means they just miss out on a chance to bag the £100,000 prize.

Farmer Cameron from Somerset had already been handed a ticket to the final following a round of challenges and a decision made by his fellow contestants.

The rest were subjected to a public vote, with no nominations taking place in the final week, reports OK! Viewers were able to choose which they wanted to save.

Two with the fewest votes would be kicked out. It comes after the house was transformed into the Emerald City, in celebration of the upcoming film release Wicked For Good.

Big Brother housemates were told they were now citizens of Oz. Not only were they tasked with rebuilding the yellow brick road but they also faced challenges to win a party.

However, the party soon turned unlucky for a couple of housemates. After The Emerald City Party, they returned to the Yellow Brick Road to receive a gift from The Wizard.

Big Brother told them: ” Ozians, you stand before The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. He has decided to reward each of you with a very special gift.”

Each Housemate is instructed to open the gift in front of them. Some of them received special items to commemorate their time in the house.

For example, Richard was given a golden keyboard and Elsa a Princess wedding dress. However, two housemates were given their marching orders, marking the end of their time in the Big Brother House and they had to leave immediately.

The remaining six housemates are now officially Big Brother Finalists. Those left in the house will now battle it out for the title of this year’s winner. Among the confirmed finalists are Cameron, Elsa, Richard, Tate, Jenny and Emily.

The public will continue to cast their votes for their favourite ahead of Friday’s (November 14) live final. Presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best will be back to announce the final standings of each housemate.

Viewers at home were quick to react to the latest twist as the series nears its conclusion. Sharing their reactions on social media, one viewer posted: “Oh wow, my face was the same as Jenny’s when I saw that ticket.”

Another chimed in: “How you gonna give Elsa a wedding dress and Marcus a ticket home omg. LMAO.”

While another commented: “Wow Big Brother, that was brutal.” Another shocked viewer said: “Teja was evicted?” I’m so shocked! I thought she was gonna be in the top three at least. “.

Big Brother concludes tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

ITV I’m A Celebrity bosses make major rule change to trials to shake up show

I’m A Celebrity bosses will make a major change to proceedings this year on the ITV jungle show to stop one person hogging the limelight in a huge rule shake-up

I’m A Celebrity bosses are clamping down on celebrities doing repeated trials and hogging the limelight in a major rule shake-up. We can reveal how contestants will now no longer be able to do more than two Bushtucker trials in a row.

Insiders claim it gives more celebs the chance to shine on the show and endear themselves to the public. But it also comes after a row last year over Dean McCullough, who was voted to do a total of seven Bushtucker Trials, two of which he ended early.

Even Ant McPartlin expressed his frustration with Dean repeatedly being put up for trial, saying: “Who’s still voting for Dean, I don’t get it.”

At the time, some fans were convinced he was faking his tears to ensure he was repeatedly voted for by the public. Dean later insisted his tears were “100 per cent real.”

Nigel Farage, who took part in 2023, has previously lamented how those doing challenges got “25 percent of the airtime”.

The rule change will also effectively prevent the public targeting certain celebrities as much as before. Stars such as Helen Flanagan and Gillian McKeith were repeatedly picked on by viewers who were keen to see them suffer in trials.

Viewers will be unable to vote for that person for a third consecutive day, but then the system will be “reset” allowing that person to be voted for again.

A source said: “Celebrities all want the opportunity to take on a Bushtucker Trial and bring home stars for camp. Viewers would much prefer to see different celebrities take on the iconic Bushtucker Trials as opposed to the same person every day.”

Bosses are keen for more contestants to shine in the camp, and have taken on feedback from previous celebs on the show who want the trials to be spread more evenly.

A source added: “This is a great move for fans of the show so we don’t see the same faces doing the trials, as well as uncovering new favourites. Plus it’s a win-win for the celebs too, who are keen for more chances to get their personalities across.”

Several contestants have done multiple trials over the years.

Waterloo road actor Adam Thomas performed 12 trials when he took part back in 2016, while Scarlett Moffat and Janice Dickinson undertook 10 in 2016 and 2007 respectively. Jacqueline Jossa did 10 Trials in 2019, while Helen Flanagan did seven trials in 2012, of which a number were aborted.

Celebs flying Down Under include Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley, YouTuber Morgan Burtwistle, known as Angry Ginge, EastEnders actress Shona McGarty comedian Ruby Wax, TV presenter Alex Scott and Jack Osbourne. They are to be joined by rapper Aitch, and presenter Vogue Williams.

Ant and Dec are returning to host the hit series, which is in its 25th year. A source close to the show said: “Producers are expected to pull out the stops to ensure the 25th series is the most memorable yet.”

Secret I’m A Celebrity Angry Ginge bond rumbled before show starts

I’m A Celebrity’s Angry Ginge might have an already-formed ally in the Australian jungle after touching down in Brisbane ahead of this year’s series of the hit ITV reality contest

He’s already frontrunner to be crowned king of the jungle, and now Angry Ginge‘s bond has been rumbled days before the start of I’m A Celebrity. The YouTuber is the bookies’ favourite to outlast his famous fellow campmates Down Under.

But a little-known bond has been rumbled which could give the YouTube sensation an added boost in camp. The 23-year-old, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, is verry pally with a fellow campmate-to-be.

Both Angry Ginge and rapper Aitch – real name Harrison Armstrong – will be entering the I’m A Celeb camp. But it certainly won’t be the first time the pair have met.

READ MORE: I’m A Celebrity star Aitch pictured arriving in Australia as he joins huge namesREAD MORE: I’m A Celebrity’s Shona McGarty’s telling three words after fiancé split

The duo have collaborated on a number of occasions for projects like the ABC game. They have also appeared together in other videos with pals such as Tays.

And they’ve also been known to mock each other for fun. In one clip together, Aitch joked that Ginge is the person who “moves the least and sweats the most”.

While the pair might be know each other, it’s unlikely their bonds will already have been formed with other celebs who have since landed Down Under.

Speaking in Brisbane, Ginge said he was going to miss his mum and his beloved Manchester United the most. e told the Mirror: “I did a Duke of Edinburgh bronze award at school so I am not too bad at camping.

“One of the reasons I vowed to never go to Australia was because of the spiders and animals so I am hoping the hotel is secure.”

Other stars to have already touched down in Australia include model Kelly Brook. While she refused to reveal her appearance when questioned at Brisbane airport, the presenter was in fine spirits.

Speaking to journalists who had congregated ready for her arrival, she said: “It was a long flight.” But she teased and tried to dismiss I’m A Celeb links.

She joked: “I am looking forward to seeing my Auntie Sheila and distant cousin – I haven’t seen her for a long time.”

She added: “I am not sure how I feel about sleeping under the stars – hopefully I will have a spare room. I am looking forward to seeing koalas and the kangaroos.”

It’s thought the 45-year-old left a number of treats for her pet pooch Teddy, at home in order to distract him from her potentially long awaited stay. Speaking earlier at Heathrow Airport, Kelly shared her emotions, saying: “I am going to miss my dog Teddy and my husband Jeremy.”

A source had previously told The Sun: “Kelly is besotted with Teddy and he is used to fine dining, so Kelly spent all hours making sure the freezer was piled high with his special dinners.”

ITV Big Brother fans hail ‘clear winner’ after ‘genius’ response to double eviction

Big Brother 2025 viewers have been left in hysterics over Richard’s savage response to Caroline’s eviction

Big Brother viewers have been left “screaming” at Richard’s brutal reaction to Caroline’s exit, with many now backing him as their “clear winner”.

The Big Brother 2025 final is merely days away, but only one housemate can claim the winning title and a substantial cash prize. As personalities continue to clash, tensions keep rising as the finale approaches.

On Friday, Caroline and Nancy were evicted from the house during the series’ second double eviction, which followed just days after housemate Sam’s unexpected back-door departure. Now, ITV2 viewers are all sharing their predictions on who they reckon could be crowned the 2025 champion.

Tonight’s episode (November 9) showed the housemates reacting after Friday’s live eviction. And it was Richard’s seemingly savage response that got fans talking.

Chatting to Big Brother in the Diary Room, Richard was questioned if he missed Caroline, as he said: “Deeply. I could hear violins playing as I sobbed myself to sleep, and the pillow was steeped with my tears.”, reports OK!.

He added, “I wondered how on earth I’m going to manage when I wake up in the morning and she’s not there on the other side of the room to throw her barbed comments in my direction.

“And I woke up this morning and I looked across at the empty bed and I thought Yes.”

Richard then laughed at his remarks as he appeared to celebrate the eviction outcome.

Taking to X, viewers said they were “screaming” at the star’s response. One person wrote: “I’ve seen enough. Richard has to win.”

Another viewer wrote: “I knew Richard was a winner from the moment i saw his VT Maybe i have a boring sense of humour but this man has me howling everytime hes in the diary room.”

A third added: “Richard, I’m screaming.” A fourth penned: “I’m crying at Richard in the diary room, he’s so funny.”

One person said: “I love when Richard just starts howling over himself, he’s so me.”

Another commented: “Richard’s wheeze actually cracks me up.”

One person echoed: “Richard is an absolute comedy genius.”

The ongoing tension between Richard and Caroline began when the pair first met following Richard’s late entrance to the house. Caroline was frequently spotted making digs at him, never letting him forget about ‘pinching’ her eyeball currency.

Richard has characterised their dynamic as “pantomime-like”. Yet during her departure interview, Caroline stuck to her guns that she found Richard “boring”, saying it multiple times, leaving hosts Will and AJ uncertain whether she genuinely meant it.

Big Brother airs Sunday to Friday on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm.

Big Brother’s Richard Storry’s feud with Caroline explained and life outside the iconic house

Big Brother star Richard Storry has been on the ITV show since its return in September

ITV2’s Big Brother is approaching its finale this month as viewers are having their say on who they reckon should triumph, with one clear frontrunner emerging victorious.

Since the revamped series made its comeback to ITV2 screens in September, there’s been plenty of explosive moments, from bitter rows erupting to personalities clashing spectacularly.

Just last week, three contestants were sent home, including Sam during a shock back-door eviction, and Caroline and Nancy after facing the public vote.

Caroline had been stirring up trouble during her stint in the legendary house, particularly with her “feud” with Richard. Caroline faced backlash from viewers for alleged “bullying” behaviour towards Richard, reports OK!.

However, as she’s now been evicted, Richard stays in the house, with massive backing from the public – so much so that, according to betting odds last week, the star was tipped to win, with odds at 5-4.

Coral’s John Hill said: “We have seen a strong wave of support for Richard in our Big Brother betting after he escaped Friday night’s double eviction.

“There is no doubt punters are siding with Richard in his feud with Caroline.”

Richard is also the champion for some viewers, as one person wrote on X: “RICHARD TO WIN!”. Another added, “Looks like Richard is the winner of Big Brother 2025.”

Who is Richard Storry?

Richard entered the Big Brother house later than the others, arriving alongside Cameron B, Feyisola, and George.

At 60 years old, he was among the eldest within the house. On the programme, Richard disclosed he is a writer and composer with expertise in classical music.

Based on his Instagram profile, Richard’s books belong to the supernatural and fantasy categories. His debut novel was published in 2015, whilst his most recent work emerged in 2021.

According to Amazon, his bestselling title is The Cryptic Lines, which takes place in a “sprawling gothic mansion”.

Richard and Caroline feud explained

Caroline and Richard’s dynamic has dominated social media discussion since their apparent clash started the instant they encountered each other.

Despite viewers condemning Caroline as a bully, Richard has characterised their dynamic as “pantomime-like”. Former housemate Farida also revealed details about their connection, telling Heatworld that it was simply “banter.”

Nevertheless, during her departure interview, Caroline stuck to her position that she considered Richard “boring”, leaving presenters Will and AJ baffled about whether she was being honest or not. Comparing him to Mr Bean, she declared, “Richard is not funny.”

Richard’s adoption story

Throughout his stint on the programme, Richard confessed he was unmarried and has, indeed, remained single throughout his life; nevertheless, he has an adopted son. Viewers will recall Richard’s touching tale about how he adopted his son, who was then a 33-year-old refugee.

While in Malaysia, he encountered a young man, who is now his son, and shared: “He was a refugee from Myanmar, which is the next country up if you know your geography, and he told me quite early on that he had lost his father when he was a kid.”

As their bond grew stronger, Richard frequently visited the country, and eventually, they decided to formalise their father-son-like relationship.

One viewer posted on X: “Richard’s adoption story is already one of the most intriguing and beautiful stories I have ever heard on Big Brother. I am sobbing.”

Another commented, “Can’t cope with Richard adopting a 33-year-old refugee. Stop the show and crown him already.”

Big Brother airs Sunday to Friday on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm.

Big Brother star breaks huge record with eviction live on air as fans make same complaint

Viewers had one major complaint about Big Brother as a live eviction saw one housemate break a huge record on the show but not everyone was happy with the coverage

Big Brother star Nancy Nocerino broke a major record on the show as she evicted on Friday. As the 22-year-old graduate sat down to discuss her exit with show hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best, she appeared unfazed as they revealed to her that with 26 nominations she was the most nominated housemate of the series so far.

AJ then confirmed that she is also the most nominated BBUK housemate since 2013. Nancy took on the information, giggling and doing a victory dance as she exclaimed, “you’re joking,” before AJ asked her, “Why do you think that is?”

Nancy then responded, “well, I don’t know, I think it’s just, jealousy, maybe,” as she cheekily poked out her tongue and turned to look at the audience. She was given the boot in a double eviction alongside fellow controversial housemate, Caroline, who has been slammed for her treatment of Richard.

Fans of the show watching the exit interviews then took to X to slam AJ and Will for their interview technique as they failed to really address the issues surrounding the two housemates. Many then shared the same viewpoint, calling for the return of former hosts Emma Willis or Davina McCall to conduct the interviews.

One viewer wrote, “AJ and Will are terrible interviewers. They’ve not remotely tried to hold Caroline to account for her vile bullying of Richard.”

A second uploaded a picture of former host Emma and posted, “We needed her tonight for that Caroline interview #BBUK.”

Content cannot be displayed without consent

A third commented, “Sorry but AJ and Will were very weak with Caroline there. They did not call her out on anything, no way would Davina or Emma have been so pathetic. #BBUK #BBLL.”

A fourth social media user shared, “Davina was fantastic, she was Big Brother. She happily handed the batton to Emma Willis who is one of the best with people and at asking the right questions, a true fan too. AJ and Will do not cut it at all, chaotic and bland #BBUK.”

The criticism continued with more viewers slamming AJ and Will as another scathed, “I really wanted AJ and Will to learn from the past few years of presenting this show and thought they would press both members of the clique but they just lauded both of them. No pressing questions, no challenges at all. God i miss Emma Willis #BBUK.”

However, some viewers were positive, with one writing: “This is so funny watching AJ & Will just tell Nancy she was wrong. Every thought she had in the house, was wrong. #BBUK.” A second said: “Obsessed with AJ calling Nancy out for flashing the British public on live tv #bbuk.”

A third tweeted: “AJ fighting for her life right now and trying to stay impartial #BBUK #BBLL.”

Roman Kemp’s sister Harley Moon’s heartbreaking confession over their bond

Harley Moon Kemp has revealed that she never receives an invite to the pub from her brother Roman as they made their debut together on Celebrity Race Across The World

Harley Moon Kemp has revealed that she never receives an invite to the pub from her brother, Roman. The photographer,36, who is the daughter of TV legend Martin Kemp and pop singer Shirlie Kemp, has stayed largely out of the spotlight, whilst her sibling, 32, has carved out a successful career as a radio host, One Show presenter and general television personality.

But as she and her younger brother appeared on the first episode of Celebrity Race Across The World on Thursday night, the pair shared an exchange that gave an insight into their relationship.

In their introduction, Roman admitted: We’ve got some slightly different traits. Harley was always the one going out, getting in trouble; I was more boring!”

Harley Moon responded: “Roman is going to be practical; and the planning and the budgeting,” as he replied: “You’re in charge of cups and ice.”

READ MORE: Four I’m A Celebrity stars give away they’re headed to the jungle in huge slip-upREAD MORE: Celebrity Race Across the World 2025 line up, full route and when it starts

It was then that she explained: “We’ve got that conventional family thing going on when you call each other when you need stuff,” before Roman replied: “I don’t know what it’s like to hang out with Harleymoon.”

Implying that was his fault, Harley Moon hit back: “You never invite me to the pub,” before the former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star clarified: “Because I never go!”

Just months before taking on Celebrity Race Across the World 2025 with his older sister, which will see the sibling duo competing with other stars as they race 5,900km across Central America on just £30 each a day, Loose Men star Roma opened up about the struggle he remembers most vividly from his childhood.

In a conversation with singer Tom Grennan on their You About? podcast, Roman shared memories of him and Harley Moon featuring in national magazines alongside their famous parents during a period when finances were tight for the family.

Shirlie and husband Martin, who was a member of the band Spandau Ballet before starring as Steve Owen in BBC soap EastEnders, were struggling with money due to the musician’s health battles in the nineties.

My parents had no money at the time because my dad had all these operations and s*** for his brain, so, like, they were trying to get more money,” Roman explained to podcast co-host Tom. He went on to admit that even though they had appeared in magazines as a family, Martin and Shirlie were still anxious about their children being snapped by paparazzi on holiday.

Roman continued: “But then, even up to when I was maybe 13, if we’d gone on holiday, we were never allowed to go to the beach because when we went on the beach, my mum and dad would always be like, ‘there it is’ and you’d see a boat come past, quite far out, and then, like, stop, and there would just be a long lens camera just taking pictures of kids on beaches.”

Roman heartbreakingly revealed his mum would often be left in tears after seeing pictures the paparazzi had taken of them appearing in the press. He shared: “It’s mad in that sense, you see it less and less now, like those old celebrity pictures on the beach, you see that a lot less now.

“But at the time, my whole life, me growing up, was my mum crying because they’re taking horrendous pictures and they’d only use the worst picture.” Reflecting on a specific traumatic moment following a holiday, Roman said Shirlie “cried for, like, five days” when photos of the family on a banana boat were published in the press.

Ahead of Celebrity Race Across the World airing on Thursday night, Harleymoon explained she was previously given the chance to go on the BBC show with her mum, but Shirlie had concerns, so the pair missed out.

Harleymoon told the Radio Times: “My mum was asked to be in the first Celebrity Race Across the World and was going to take me, but thought it sounded too hard. I was glad to have another chance to go.”

Sharing his own motivations to sign up to the series, Roman, who has been open about his struggles with anxiety and depression, said: “I came off all medication [antidepressants] over a year ago and the race was a good test for my anxiety.”

Married At First Sight viewers fume to Ofcom over ‘cruel’ treatment of groom

Ofcom has received more than 100 complaints from Married At First Sight viewers over the way groom Ashley was treated during his time on the hit E4 reality series

Ofcom has received more than 100 complaints from Married At First Sight fans over the way a groom was treated. Earlier in this series of the hit E4 reality show. viewers watched as midwife Grace ‘tied the knot’ with Ashley but she was visibly not very keen from the start.

The couple made it past the initial wedding stage of the experiment, but various issues kept cropping up as they tried to embark on their new relationship and it all ended after one final argument that took place at a dinner party.

She added: “I expect you to act like a grown man capable of self-control. Sponsored by Canesten Duo.” The pair have been notably absent at various points within the series, and in the end, Ashley removed his wedding band when he decided that ‘couldn’t do anymore‘ for her without her taking issue with it as she accused him of ‘twisting’ everything.

READ MORE: Married at First Sight UK’s Ashley issues statement after sparking romance rumoursREAD MORE: Married At First Sight UK’s Grace takes brutal swipe at Ashley as fans express concern

But viewers have taken issue with the way that experts Mel Schilling, Paul C Brunson and Charlene Douglas seemingly enabled Grace’s behaviour during her time on camera. A spokesperson for Ofcom confirmed: “Complaints related to the experts allegedly enabling Grace’s treatment of Ashley.” In total, the regulator received 166 complaints from angry viewers.

It comes just one day after Grace took to social media to hit out at her ex regarding their final argument. She said: “I expect you to accept no for an answer. I expect you to prioritise my discomfort over your desire for sex. I expect you to act like a grown man capable of self-control. Sponsored by Canesten Duo.”

Things went from bad to worse for the couple during Wife Swap week, when Ashley admitted that he was ‘happier’ when his bride was not around. On the verge of tears, he explained: “I’d hate to hurt Grace’s feelings. I just feel like I can’t give any more to this. So I have to be selfish and put myself first. Grace then admitted: “I would have really liked if this had worked out I think we recognise now there was never anyway it was going to (work). But yeah, you do know that deep down.”

When viewers first met Ashley and Grace, she refused to accept a kiss on the lips when they were pronounced as husband and wife. Things got even more heated between the pair at the dinner following the wedding, when Ashley admitted that he had been raised with ‘old-fashioned’ morals and believed that a man should be the breadwinner. Grace was visibly shocked at this revelation, and in a confessional, she fumed: “God, here we go!”

Later on, Grace’s friend Georgina interrogated Ashley over his outlook on life and when he suggested he was not necessarily a feminist, she raged that someone like that was not going to be a match for Grace.

She said: “My advice was, she wants to know you respect her.” She then relayed her concerns to Grace, but insisted she had managed to warm to Ashley by explaining to him just what she thought a feminist was. This whole scene did not go down well with some viewers either, with one writing: “Grace & her friends seem like the type to bring about their own misery,” and another slamming it as the ‘most insufferable conversation’ they had ever heard.

Viewers will have to wait to see just how things pan out between Ashley and Grace on the next episode, but the trailer for next week teased that things might not be looking so good.

In a short clip, Grace raged: “Every now and then he says something, and it’s like ‘Do you know how that sounds?!'”

Channel 4 ‘poised to axe’ reality show fronted by Hollywood star after dire ratings

Channel 4 is reportedly gearing up to axe The Inheritance, which was fronted by Liz Hurley and Rob Rinder and saw 13 players attempt to win money from a will, after just one series

Elizabeth Hurley‘s reality show could be about to be axed after just one series. The Hollywood star, 60, teamed up with Good Morning Britain presenter Rob Rinder to front the game show, which aired on Channel 4 earlier this year.

The Bedazzled actress played the The Deceased, with Rob working as The Executor, and 13 contestants battled it out in a series of challenges to unlock money from the will as they try to convince each other that only they should be trusted with the money pot. Whilst no official decision has bene made on the programme’s future, insiders have claimed that it is not expected to come back for a second run of episodes.

A source told The Sun: “The Inheritance has been widely viewed as a flop, despite all the publicity and having a big star at its heart.

READ MORE: Lorraine Kelly takes bitter swipe at Liz Hurley following her jaw-dropping NTAs outfitREAD MORE: The Inheritance winner revealed in nail-biting Channel 4 final twist

“Channel 4 maintains no decision has been made on its future, but many people involved in the debut series are working on the basis that it isn’t returning. Of course there may be some huge changes of mind and the show enjoys a stay of execution, but all the signs are that this is another expensive flop and they’re likely to quit while they’re behind.”

The Mirror has contacted Channel 4 representatives for comment.

The first episode of The Inheritance pulled in just half a million viewers, although this grew once catch up figures were taken into account. However, over the course of two weeks, overall, the programme averaged just 1.5 million. In the end, it was 28-year-old Yorkshire scaffolder Cam who emerged victorious, winning the vote amongst his fellow finalists to be the ultimate Prime Beneficiary, receiving a whopping £100,000 fortune from The Deceased’s estate.

Cam then had the option of keeping the prize money to himself, which would add to the already huge £10,000 he had accumulated throughout the game. However, in a nail biting final decision, he chose to share his winnings with Emma, Hafsah, Hannah and Jesse, who each took home £20,000 each, along with what they had already banked throughout.

In total, Cam walked away with £30,000 with the rest of the finalists trailing closely behind. Hannah and Jesse received £28,200 each Hafsah taking home £27,700 and paramedic Emma walking away with a modest £23,800.

During the tense moment, host Rob Rinder was seen standing with the finalists during the tense moment, as he revealed that Cam had chosen to split the money with all four players. “You arrived at the final at the final stages of this game together, and you now leave with an equal slice of the inheritance,” Rob announced, as the contestants broke down in tears.

“You arrived at the final at the final stages of this game together, and you now leave with an equal slice of the inheritance,” Rob announced, as the contestants broke down in tears.

“The inheritance is now concluded, please collect your money from the safe boxes and leave the estate immediately,” he concluded.

While the players were left shocked at Cam’s generous decision, it was a no brainer for him, as he announced: “I’ve had debt hanging over my head for years, I can’t describe the feeling of a fresh start.

“My dad taught me integrity and in that strong room it is literally a battle between your head and your heart. To be able to change the lives of four other people too, I am so happy and proud.” Of course, he’s only human, and he did have second thoughts when the money was right in front of his eyes.

“We all spoke about it in the final division ceremony, dividing all the money up, and I think it’s easy to say you would,” he said. “However, when you get down into that room, and you’ve got a hundred thousand pounds in front of your face, you start thinking about everything back at home and how much it could change your life.

“It really is a tough decision but at the end of the day I’m a team player, and I’m just so happy that I did make the decision I made.”
