“You’ve got to be warm and emotional but it was a tough gig.”
Elsewhere, Tilly had her say on the wedding and also called it “perfect” despite Adam’s family largely not attending.
Only his sister Bethany was present with his heartbroken mum Caroline banned from the Abbey amid a huge fallout with Adam and being left hurt after Holly refused to invite her to her hen-do with her A-list pals, including Victoria Beckham.
Speaking on the daytime show, Tilly added: “It was so emotional but so incredible to see her and Adam so happy. It was a big day for all of us.”
She also admitted she checked Gordon’s speech on Christmas Eve and confessed “no tweaks were needed” before confirming: “It made everybody cry.”
Gordon further revealed his “shock” at Holly’s decision to wear Tana’s wedding dress for a section of the reception saying: “It was a shock as she had it on for the majority of the night but I don’t know why she needed to change three times!”
The chef was alluding to her multiple dress changes for the big day – with the star wearing three gowns in total.
In Gordon’s speech he was understood to be heard saying his wife Tana “will be a good mum to them both,” amid the fallout.
Ramsay, 59, gushed at how beautiful Holly looked and told Adam he was a “lucky man”, adding: “Look at Tana and that’s what you have to look forward to.”

In a chat with BritishVogue, content creator Holly spoke about a photo showing her and Adam at the ceremony and appeared to reinforce her support for his words.
She said: “Listening to dad’s speech, looking around the room and feeling overwhelmed with the love and the happiness on our guests’ faces.”
A source close to the Peaty family told the Daily Mail at the time: “Caroline can’t believe Gordon brought their family troubles up his speech. It is outrageous and very hurtful.
“By him saying Tana will be a good mum to them both makes Caroline sound like a bad mum. It was a cruel dig at her.
“She has always done her best for all her children. She is a very good mum.”

And now while the pair are on honeymoon, Holly has shared a message to fans.
“In our newlyweds bubble,” she wrote adding: “Full wedding weekend breakdown coming soon! So much to share.”
The couple wed in a stunning Bath Abbey ceremony on December 27 and the brand new bride also revealed the exotic location they are jetting off to – and who has splashed out on the dreamy getaway.
In an interview with British Vogue, Holly revealed they will be sunning themselves in Mauritius.
And they haven’t had to pay a single penny.
Instead, her dad Gordon and mum Tana have agreed to fork out for the trip as a wedding present.
Speaking to Vogue, Holly said: “We’re going to Mauritius to just lie by the sea – that was our wedding present from my parents.
“I had to tell Adam we weren’t basing our honeymoon around a 25-metre pool…”
The pair are believed to have headed to the sun-soaked island just days ago and likely welcomed in 2026 there together after being snapped heading to the airport in the UK just days ago.
The lead up to the wedding was full of drama after Adam, 31, disinvited his parents – Caroline and Mark – after his feud with his mum exploded last month when she was not invited to Holly’s hen do.
The only notable member of his family present was his sister, Bethany.
All of the Ramsay clan turned up for the event with Holly and Adam ensuring that her family took pride of place on the big day.

Adam went on to acknowledge the pain the bust up has caused during his speech at the couple’s wedding reception at Kin House in Kington Langley, Wilts.
He told how his swim coach Mel Marshall has been “everything”, “grounding and inspiring” him, before adding that she was “like a mum”.
Content creator Holly spoke about a photo showing her and Adam at the ceremony and referenced the speech, saying: “Listening to dad’s speech, looking around the room and feeling overwhelmed with the love and the happiness on our guests’ faces.”
Adam recently appeared to show no signs of offering up an olive branch after he thanked Jesus for everything that had happened in the year – despite the fractious feud.
The sport star appeared grateful for how things had panned out this year – even if it meant falling out with his family.
He shared a quote, which read: “It’s the last day of 2025. Thank you Jesus for everything this year.”

But the nuptials had been overshadowed byAdam’songoing feud with his family, including his parents who were uninvited from the wedding.
Instead of holding out an olive branch, Adam appeared to take a final dig at his family in a new post.
The sport star appeared grateful for how things had panned out this year – even if it meant falling out with his family.
He shared a quote, which read: “It’s the last day of 2025. Thank you Jesus for everything this year.”
The lead up to their nuptials was fraught with drama, after Adam, 31, uninvited his mum Caroline when a feud erupted over her failing to be invited to Holly’s hen do.
It was then revealed that Adam had said his dad Mark could attend the wedding – but he would have to sit at the back of the church.
Unsurprisingly, Mark chose not to attend, as did Adam’s brothers James and Richard.
Now, The Sun can reveal that his great aunt Janet, 73, and uncle Eddie were uninvited in a very brutal way just four days before the ceremony.
A source said: “They got an automated message basically saying they were off the guest list and to respect Adam and Holly’s decision.
“It was so impersonal, and just four days before the big day.”
The brutal text came despite the fact the couple had already shelled out hundreds of pounds on accommodation, outfits and gifts.
Adam’s older sister Beth was the only family member to be invited to the big day – and along with Holly’s sisters Tilly, 24 and Megan, 27, she was one of the three bridesmaids.
His words left Caroline “outraged and hurt” with an insider telling the Daily Mail: “Caroline can’t believe Gordon brought their family troubles up his speech. It is outrageous and very hurtful.
“By him saying Tana will be a good mum to them both makes Caroline sound like a bad mum. It was a cruel dig at her.
“She has always done her best for all her children. She is a very good mum.”
However, the newlyweds brushed off any further drama as they were pictured leaving Gordon’s London home on Monday to jet off on honeymoon.
Eiri Munroe – who shares five-year-old son George with Adam – told friends she thought it was “hypocritical”.
A friend of his artist ex – who he split from in 2021 – says she wanted George to take her surname plus Adam’s, but claims he refused.
Eiri’s pal told The Sun: “It feels a bit rich to Eiri that Adam has been quick to change his name but didn’t allow her the same right for their son.”

WEDDING row couple Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay gifted 200 guests a £190-a-pop engraved bottle of tequila and commemorative t-shirt.
The generous duo spent around £40,000 on the presents to thank invitees for their “love and support”.

They felt indebted to those who attended their nuptials for sustaining them amid the bitter feud which led to most of the Olympian’s family being banned.
The Sun can also reveal the touching service details at Bath Abbey, where they tied the knot on December 27.
Hymns included Come Down O Love Divine and one of the readings was Psalm 127, which tells of the blessings of children – a hint that the couple are keen to start their own family.
‘Incredibly generous’
A source told The Sun: “Holly and Adam were incredibly generous to their guests, lavishing them all with a bottle of tequila embossed their own initials.
Gordon stunned guests when he addressed the furore head on, and slated his son-in-law’s parents.
He said his missus Tana is an “amazing Mum” – adding he can’t say the same about Adam’s parents.
But he said of the happy couple: “Tana will be a good mum to them both.”
In an emotional speech to 200 guests at the celebrity couple’s wedding feast, Gordon had another sly dig at Adam’s estranged folks.
Gordon gushed how “beautiful” his daughter and wife Tana looked – pointing out to Adam he was a “lucky man”.
He addressed his son-in-law: “Look at Tana and that’s what you have to look forward to.”
Then the chef turned to bride Holly and added: “Shame you don’t have the same.”
He lovingly mocked his daughter’s expensive tastes – calling her easily the “most expensive” of his four kids.
Gord had the crowd in hysterics as he revealed how at a young age Holly worked out how to attach his credit card to her Apple pay.
Holly has always wanted to do Vogue, so this is a coup for her.

And the guests roared as he joked how his three other children will have to get married in a registry office due to the extortionate cost of the wedding flowers alone.
Gordon teased his daughter about their Bath Abbey wedding ceremony, laughing at how, “only Holly could pick the most beautiful church and choose to cover its stunning windows in white roses”.
The Sun revealed how stunning Holly – who wore a bridal cape over her wedding dress as she arrived and left the ceremony at Bath Abbey – will be showing the dress off in Vogue magazine, published on New Year’s Day.
A source added: “Holly has always wanted to do Vogue, so this is a coup for her.”
In his own speech at the glittering reception, thrilled groom Adam subtly acknowledged the pain caused by the bitter bust-up with his own family.
He poignantly turned to Mel Marshall, 43, his ex-swimming coach who has acted as his surrogate parent during his dazzling career.
Tearful Adam gushed how Mel has been “everything” to him – “grounding” him and “inspiring” him in recent years. And after an emotional pause the sportsman added she was, “like a Mum”.

Tellingly Adam thanked everyone for their “support”, adding how it has been a “difficult time”.
The bride had guests dabbing their eyes in emotion after wearing two outfits at their extravagant reception at plush Kin House in Kington Langley, Wilts.
One was her mother’s wedding gown when Tana tied the knot with Gordon in 1996.
A DJ announced the special tribute, sparking a spontaneous round of applause from thrilled onlookers.
Among the guests were David and Victoria Beckham – close pals of the Ramsays – and the A-lister couple danced the night away with all the other guests.
Mobile phones were banned throughout, with guests forced to put them in pouches.
Everyone invited to the nuptials was forced to wear a wristband, embossed with the bride and groom’s initials, to ensure security staff knew they were not interlopers.
I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through and despite it all she loves you still.

And a wedding gift list included a £1,450 green egg outdoor cooker.
The couple also invited guests to buy them a £995 mahogany table, £800 chair and footstool, and £450 log storage bin.
Adam, who turned 31 yesterday, and Holly, 25, banned his loved ones, including his mum Caroline, dad Mark and brothers James and Richard.
The family were left even more distraught amid claims Mark was told by the swimmer’s sister Beth before Christmas he could attend, but had to sit at the back of the church.
Beth was the only member of his family in attendance. She was a maid of honour alongside Holly’s sisters.
Adam had disinvited his great-aunt Janet and her husband Eddie just days before the wedding.
‘Her soul screams’
Adam’s aunt Louise, who was also not invited to the wedding, sent him a message moments before he walked into the abbey with his five-year-old son George, from a previous relationship.
She wrote: “I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through and despite it all she loves you still. Shame on you both. Shame.
“Remember on this, your happiest day, and on each anniversary of your happiest day, that you hurt your mum so deeply her soul screams.”
ADAM Peaty has been accused of uninviting an Olympic swimmer he was good friends with from attending his wedding to Holly Ramsay. However, Adam didn’t receive the text as he had blocked family messages.
Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at Kin House in Kington Langley, Wilts.
It saw Holly’s dad Gordon deliver a fiery speech where he made a dig at Adam’s absent parents.
The 59-year-old chef said his wife Tana “will be a good mum to them both”.

Ramsay, 59, gushed at how beautiful Holly looked and told Adam he was a “lucky man”, adding: “Look at Tana and that’s what you have to look forward to.”
The triple Olympic gold medallist, 31 yesterday, acknowledged the pain caused by the bust-up in his speech at the reception at Kin House in Kington Langley, Wilts.
He told how his swim coach Mel Marshall has been “everything”, “grounding and inspiring” him.
After an emotional pause he said she was, “like a mum”.
The family source said: “This was the Ramsays’ plan all along. They wanted Adam’s family gone and they have succeeded.
“You’d think that as parents, Gordon and Tana would have a bit more compassion towards Caroline, Mark and the family.
“Caroline did everything and more to help Adam. She and Mark sacrificed a lot to get him where he is. Adam ought to be ashamed of himself for going ahead with the wedding without them after everything they did to support him.
“Beth has betrayed her mum to see what she can get out of being the only family member who gets on with Adam and Holly.

The source also revealed Adam had disinvited his great-aunt Janet and her husband Eddie days before the wedding — despite them booking accommodation and purchasing outfits. The source added: “It’s completely unacceptable.”
In her message, shortly before Adam entered the abbey with son George, five, his aunt Louise wrote: “I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through and despite it all she loves you still. Shame on you both.
“Remember on this, your happiest day, and on each anniversary of your happiest day, that you hurt your mum so deeply her soul screams.”
A family source confirmed Adam did not receive or read the message.

All guests wore a wristband embossed with Adam and Holly’s initials to prevent wedding crashers.
A pal said last night: “Nothing interrupted what was a peaceful, joyous day with those closest to Holly and Adam.
“The ceremony was magical and the reception very emotional, there were a lot of tears.
“Gordon made an amazing speech that had everyone laughing and crying. None of the outside noise overshadowed what was an occasion filled with heartfelt joy and happiness for two people who are very much in love.”
Gordon walked his daughter down the aisle and Tana gave a reading during the hour-long service.

A crowd of onlookers cheered the couple as they emerged. They were later whisked to the reception in a black Rolls-Royce. The maids of honour wore red dresses designed by Victoria, while Tana wore a similar style dress in green.
Other celebrities in attendance included Dragons’ Den star Sara Davies and TV presenter Dan Walker, who said on social media: “We had a lovely time celebrating with Adam and Holly.
“Great wedding, top people, wonderful service, unforgettable reception, brilliant speeches and we got to sing some bangers in the church too.”

But they have block-booked Bath Abbey so no one else can get hitched there on the day.
Sources at the abbey said it was an “all-day booking” and tourists will also be stopped from entering the landmark.
A security team is set to patrol to stop people trying to take pictures of the couple.
The cost of hiring the facility for a wedding can be around £2,500 — but the couple are thought to be paying several thousand more for exclusivity.
One local said: “It seems rather selfish to be hiring the abbey for the whole day when your wedding service only lasts for an hour and a half or so.”
Around 200 people are set to attend, including Holly’s chef dad Gordon and their close friends David and Victoria Beckham — but a falling-out has led to Adam’s mum Caroline being left off the guest list.
The couple have a “special connection” to the abbey — meaning they comply with a rule that anyone hiring it must have a link to it.
In its list of conditions for eligibility to be wed there, it is on offer to “parishioners, members of the congregation and those with a qualifying connection to the abbey”.
It is unknown what the connection is that the couple have which qualifies them.
Adam’s spokesman declined to comment, saying: “It’s a private, family wedding.”
Meanwhile, Adam has been branded “spiteful” after he left most of his family off his Christmas gift list amid their wedding falling-out.
He did not get anything for his parents, or brothers James and Richard.
He did get Richard’s daughter presents, along with his sister Bethany and her two kids.
But he ignored the young sons, aged 11 and seven, of James, who was arrested for allegedly making threats against him last month.
A family source said: “Kids are innocent and shouldn’t be included in any family fallout. To do this is cruel and spiteful.”
The Sun asked Adam’s team for comment.
