Katie has been embroiled in ongoing rows triggered by the launch of her 18-year-old daughter Princess Andre‘s new reality show, The Princess Diaries.

Katie was not allowed to participate on the show, which she admitted her annoyance about on her podcast, The Katie Price Show.

Shortly afterwards, Peter broke his 16-year silence to speak out against his ex-wife, making public for the first time that the kids were court ordered to live with him since 2019.

This then set off a chain of events which included reports she had got into a ‘rift’ with Princess, her second husband, Alex Reidmaking his own public accusations against her.

And now, after 10 days that have “been a lot” for the star, she has spoken out about her mental health.

Katie has shared how her PTSD has been “triggered”, as well as her anxiety.

Getting candid in a new Instagram post she shared on Thursday night, Katie uploaded a video and caption.

In the video she explained how she was at the horses which she calls her “safe place” because of how relaxing she finds it.

She added how her mental health had been “triggered like you would not believe” over the past 10 days.

In the caption of the post, she elaborated further when she penned: “The past 10 days have been a lot, thank you to everyone who has messaged me.

“I have came to the horses for some me time as my anxiety, PTSD and mental health has been triggered a lot.”

She added how she was happy to have a visit planned to the Supreme CBD warehouse to top up on “oil and gummies” which have been “such a massive help”.

“If anyone out there is feeling similar to me right now, the anxiety, lack of sleep, PTSD then stay strong,” she added.

Reacting to her honest post, fans flocked to the comments to show their support for the former glamour model.

What is PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder)?

POST-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD, is a mental health condition sparked by stressful, frightening or distressing events.

The NHS states that someone with PTSD “often relives the traumatic event through nightmares and flashbacks, and may experience feelings of isolation, irritability and guilt”.

Someone with PTSD may also have problems sleeping, “such as insomnia, and find concentrating difficult”.

The health provider states that symptoms are often “severe and persistent enough to have a significant impact on the person’s day-to-day life”.

Any stressful or frightenining event can cause PTSD with the following being some of the most common causes:

  • Serious road accidents
  • Violent personal assaults, such as sexual assault, mugging or robbery
  • Serious health problems
  • Childbirth experiences

‘Ground-breaking’ new phone uses AI to stop children filming and sending nude content

A NEW phone uses AI to stop children filming and sending nude content.

The HarmBlock+ tech in Vodafone’s latest handset also prevents them seeing and saving sexual images.

A study by the firm found one in five secondary pupils had felt pressured into sharing explicit pictures of themselves.

And of those who had, 63 per cent had them forwarded without consent.

Four in ten teachers reported explicit image-sharing as a growing problem.

Vodafone and Finnish firm HMD’s Fuse handset uses the AI developed by UK-based SafeToNet.

It is embedded into the operating system, including camera, so is impossible to bypass.

Creator Richard Pursey said: “Harmblock analyses what the camera sees, including live streams, every fraction of a second.

“If it detects sexual content it instantly blocks the recording.

“HarmBlock also analyses what’s being rendered to the screen. If harmful sexual content is about to appear, it’s blocked.

“It means children can’t be tricked into filming sexual acts, can’t stumble upon pornography nor be blackmailed.

“It’s ground-breaking.”

HELEN Flanagan was flooded with praise as she shared her struggle to get her four-year-old off to bed.

Helen, 35, who shares three kids with her footballer fiancé ex Scott Sinclair, uploaded a video showing their hectic night time routine.

The pair’s daughter Matilda was born on June 29, 2015, with second little girl Delilah arriving on June 22, 2018.

Their third child, son Charlie, was born on March 25, 2021, and was the centre of attention in the clip which saw Helen attempting to call him over as she said: “Charlie I love you, can you come over to mummy please.”

He could be heard playing in the background before he sprinted across the screen.

Helen, dressed in her pyjamas and nightwear, tried to emphasise her point and said: “Charlie can you listen please because I love you and want to give you a cuddle.”

She then suggested he. go to bed in the cot which prompted him to come over for a hug.

She asked him: “Do you love your mummy?” to which he replied: “Yes.”

The ITV soap star then placed his little hand on her heart and said: “I am calm, I love my mummy,” words which he then repeated.

Helen then told him they were going to stop “bouncing around” and go to sleep with “cuddles and kisses.”

Helen Flanagan shamed over outfit as mums say their ‘son would be mortified’

She conceded they could watch a film but needed to “relax” – in order to then “go crazy” in the morning.

Helen, who successfully kept the youngster chilled, then let out a sigh before turning the camera off.

MUM BATTLES

In her lengthy caption, the proud mum explained the toddler’s behaviour in more detail.

She wrote: “Took this video a few weeks ago of me trying to get Charlie to bed and I think it’s cute.

“Think it was about 11.30pm and he’s still bouncing around the room.

“Love my little boy to death he’s so beautiful, he just has SO much energy. I wouldn’t want him any other way though as I know he’ll be an amazing boy.

“I have to take him to soft play or the park every day to burn off some energy less he’d be swinging from the ceiling. Boys are so different to girls, is it the testosterone?

“I feel like he looks like his dad but personality wise is a boy version of me.”

Helen, who played Rosie Webster in Corrie, added: “I don’t like to label children as I think we can over label now and children can play up to it but I suppose I’m neurodivergent and I’m his mummy.

“I also get very triggered by too many sounds all at the same time and struggle to keep calm, I also get really touched out.

“I still co sleep with my kids. Matilda’s too big now but we all just sleep in the same room, it’s what works for us and I’m that exhausted by the end of the day that I just want to sleep.

“Matilda cuddles up to her brother and Delilah sleeps next to me. I’ve tried to get them into their own rooms but they just get really upset and anxious so I don’t bother as they will naturally grow out of it.

“It can be really hard when they are little but also I know that I’m going to want these times back one day too.”

Referring to her plush cream room featured in the video she added: “All I do is tidy up and my house is always a mess and it’s always chaos.

“Charlie’s pulled down these curtains before and smashed my window with a football.

“He’s a different boy for his dad than he is with me. I do feel like with a boy having a constant male presence really helps. When he’s naughty I get too tired and he’s too heavy for me to carry and too fast to catch.

“I also really struggle with car journeys with Charlie, he thinks it’s a game to unbuckle his car seat, so I try and drive when he’s sleeping.

“I think reception and starting school for Charlie will be really good for him, I haven’t done phonics or practised writing his name, it will be a task in itself to get him sitting on his bottom.”

FAN PRAISE

Helen was inundated with messages of support from her famous mates as well as fans.

RHOC alum Tanya Bardsley said: “He reminds me of my Ralphi a beautiful energy.”

MTV’s Charlotte Dawson added: “This is so cute and chaotic at the same time … wouldn’t have it any other way.”

One fan then wrote: “Think this is amazing. You kept calm and in turn that helped him it’s called Co regulation for the uneducated out there who are saying show him who is in charge.”

Another wrote: “Adorable @hjgflanagan you’re doing amazing job.”

A third put: “Well done mumma. This is beautiful. You’re making sure he feels safe and loved.”

One simply added: “Thank you for posting this. So real.”

It came just days after she was cruelly mum-shamed for her glam outfit with a plunging neckline.

The social media positivity also comes after she was cruelly trolled on the Tube.

Mrs Hinch hits back at trolls for mum-shaming her about school holiday activity saying sons are ‘learning a life skill’

MRS Hinch has hit back after trolls mum-shamed her for the “activity” she’d set up to keep her sons entertained during the summer holidays.

The 35-year-old, real name Sophie Hinchcliffe, has turned her love of cleaning into a lucrative career.

And it seems she’s hoping that she’s passed on this love to her eldest boys – Ronnie, five, and Lennie, three.

As she took to her Instagram page this week to share a Reel which showed the pair helping her out cleaning the house.

In addition to dusting and tidying, the boys were seen changing the tablecloth in the kitchen and wiping the surfaces.

They even appeared to have inherited her home tweaks, such as her famous pillow “chop” – hitting the middle of cushions and pillows to give them a distinctive look – as Ronnie was seen copying his mum.

Alongside the video, Mrs Hinch wrote: “Here’s to raising boys who know that teamwork starts at home.

“It’s not about the mess, it’s about the message, learning that we’re a team, and everyone’s part matters.

“I would love for my boys to grow up knowing the basics of how to manage a home, not just for themselves, but so the heavy load doesn’t always fall on one partner’s shoulders.”

And while the majority of people praised Mrs Hinch for the Reel, there were also a few negative comments.

“Poor kids making them clean,” one wrote.

“Pleased you ain’t my mum. School holidays are for a reason!”

Mrs Hinch then responded in a post on her Instagram Story, as she wrote: “I don’t make my children clean the house everyday AT ALL
In fact, they want to help!

“It’s not even about the cleaning, or the mess.

“It’s about teamwork, helping each other, learning little life skills and even making it fun if I can.”

She thanked those who had left kind comments, and concluded: “And to those who feel the need to be so negative, honestly, let mums parent their kids without judgement. Please!”

And Sophie’s post was backed by others in the comments, with one writing: “I can’t believe people had a go at you over this!

“Jeez people wanna lighten up!!”

Mrs Hinch’s whopping £4.4million fortune

HOMEMAKER Sophie Hinchcliffe makes a whopping £4,313 per day. The star, known best as Mrs Hinch online, has cleaned up with bumper earnings for her social media, with reported new figures for company Mrs Hinch Limited.

In fact, according to Companies House, she has more than a million reasons to be smiling with the company’s takings in 2024 amounting to a huge £1,574,405 annual profit.

They also reveal that Sophie has amassed a huge £5 million worth of assets in her firm since it first launched.

Mrs Hinch Limited, which was set up in 2019, started off with online videos detailing cheap cleaning hacks, ways to save money, and advice to run a family home.

Sophie was also praised for her honesty when it comes to raising her sons, giving advice to mums who could be struggling, lifting the lid behind a world that could be picture perfect.

She proved so successful, she has since been expanding her businesses to multiple different ventures, including her own cleaning range, books, interior design services and baby goods.

In 2024, her company’s reported cash at bank and in hand at £4,179,283, monies due in at £748,130 and tangible assets at £81,123.

After allowing for £644,402 in bills, Sophie retained £4,364,134 worth of profits in the firm – including her latest takings.

Her assets include a £99,775 car bought in 2024 – with her latest account proving her most successful set of figures so far.

“I hadn’t seen this reel until I saw the negative comment you posted in your story, the boys seem to be having so much fun,” another added.

“I don’t see the harm in letting them help, you and Jamie are raising the boys amazingly, they are learning responsibility in a fun way.”

“This is so beautiful!” a third said.

“How anyone has found anything negative in it whatsoever I’ll never know!”

“Can’t believe some people felt the need to leave nasty comments on this – saddos,” someone else sighed.

There were also those who flooded the comments with praise for Mrs Hinch for getting her boys started so early on.

“Love how the boys help out, it’s so cute!” one wrote.

“This is awesome Sophie. Great to get them involved,” another added.

Survive hot days with mum’s ‘best sun cream hack EVER’ that promises no tears thanks to an unexpected kitchen essential

A SAVVY mum has shared a “genius” trick to guarantee there are no tears when applying sun cream.

Not only does it make the process much more fun for youngsters, but if your little one hates having sun cream applied, then you’ll need to check this out.

With this simple tip, which has been hailed the “best sun cream hack ever,” you’ll need an unexpected kitchen essential.

Posting on social media, Gemma McCartan, a mum-of-two and full-time content creator from the UK, gave her followers a close-up look at her trick, which involves using spoons when applying spray sun cream.

Alongside her short video, the influencer beamed: “The best sun cream hack for kids EVER.”

She then said: “To the mum who posted this, I love you.”

Instead of wrestling her son Max to close his eyes so she could apply the spray sun cream to his face, the youngster instead put two spoons over his eyes.

Gemma was then able to spray his face with sun cream, without it getting in his eyes and causing any tears.

Moments after, the woman’s daughter then did the same, yet again ensuring a seamless application with no irritation of the eyes, whilst at the same time, making the often agonising process much more exciting.

Thrilled with her hack, Gemma later wrote: “It’s been a game changer.”

Clearly beaming with the simple trick, the mother added: “It’s made my day, I had the kids crying on holiday until we found this hack.”

Gemma’s TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @gemmamccartan, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 200,800 views.

Not only this, but it’s also amassed 2,074 likes and 138 comments.

Parents were impressed with the “genius” trick and many thought it was a “great” idea.

One person said: “What a brilliant idea.”

Another added: “That is genius.”

Whilst a third commented: “Not only practical, it gives the kids a feeling of control over what’s about to happen, so they are more willing to cooperate. Great idea.”

Meanwhile, someone else gushed: “Best idea ever for sun cream.”

The importance of sun cream in your skincare routine

Dermatologist and skincare enthusiast Andrea Suarez – known as Dr Dray – revealed why you should wear suncream.

The one thing you can do that will make the biggest difference – and this matters for all ages – is protecting your skin from the sun, Andrea stressed.

“The vast majority of external aging is due to exposure to ultraviolet radiation,” she continued, not because you’re “not using some jazzy serum or layering 90 different things on your face everyday”.

“If you’re not doing in your 20s, get on that now.”

But she said the use of sun cream alone doesn’t go far enough. Andrea urged that you also wear sun-protective clothing like broad-brimmed hats and long sleeves, on top of not staying out too long in the sun.

Doing this over your lifetime – and all year, not just during the summer or on sunny days – “will reduce the visible signs of photoageing”, Andrea said.

Those are wrinkles, muddled pigmentation and sagging skin.

However, at the same time, one user wrote: “Should have cream on eyelids too as they can burn, I know it stings if it gets in eyes but it’s such a sensitive area so best to have full coverage.”

To this, Gemma wrote back and explained: “Yes but my son has allergies so this is amazing.”

Not only this, but another person asked: “Won’t they get a burnt line where the handles are?”

In response, Gemma confirmed that instead of spraying the sun cream on her youngster’s eyelids, after the fun part, she then uses her finger for a more controlled application, as she acknowledged: “I use my finger to do the sides and lids.”

I’m a skint mum of three – these are the FREE attractions my kids love going to

IF YOU fancy a National Trust day out but you’re not a member, there’s some easy-to-overlook sites that won’t cost you a penny to access.

We all think about the historic houses and great estates that National Trust and English Heritage look after around the country.

But it’s easy to forget that they both have lots of free locations too, giving access to our coastlines and countryside for the cost of car parking.

I’m lucky to have two reservoir reserves right on my doorstep, both of which have lovely waterside walks, a playground for the kids and a cafe for those all-important refreshments.

Even better, National Trust members can park free, since the organisation took over looking after Staunton Harold Reservoir and nearby Foremark on the border of Leicestershire and Derbyshire a couple of years ago.

In the school holidays, there’s often kids’ activities like circus skills or kite-making that anyone can turn up and have a go at.

Calke Abbey, which is a location you have to pay to access, is in-between the two and has one of the National Trust’s biggest woodland play areas and a huge walled garden full of fun like hobby horses, den building, garden games and craft stations throughout the summer holidays.

There’s enough there for a full day out, but if you’re just after somewhere outdoors to while away a few hours, its free neighbours could be perfect.

To be honest, we very rarely visit the inside spaces when we go to National Trust places anyway as my boys prefer to be in the fresh air.

So it’s great that you have the option of playgrounds and woodland walks without having to pay.

It’s not just hidden countryside spots that are great to explore for free.

I’m a mum and here’s ’10/10′ free day out near Glasgow I swear by for summer hols

There’s some incredible coastal sites that fall under National Trust and English Heritage ownership too.

If you’re heading to Norfolk for your holidays, there’s the remains of a big Roman fort tucked away behind Parkdean’s Breydon Water caravan site.

Burgh Castle, looked after by English Heritage, is a short stroll away from the caravans if you’re staying there or there’s a small car park for visitors just up the road.

It’s amazing how much of the fort walls have survived and you can get a sense of how the Romans built their empire.

We’ve been there many times over the years and there’s only ever a handful of visitors about, even in the height of summer.

Just up the Norfolk Coast is the National Trust’s Blakeney Point, home to a colony of seals.

Just remember to give the wildlife plenty of space if you want to visit it in its natural environment.

When we headed up north last year, we went to several English Heritage sites along Hadrian’s Wall, including Housesteads Fort.

But it’s easy to forget that most of the 73 miles of wall are free to access and looked after by various organisations like National Trust and English Heritage.

My top tip if you’re heading to one of these free sites and aren’t a member is to try to support the location by buying something from the cafe or giving a small donation if you can.

Always follow the countryside code to leave nothing but footprints and take nothing but memories so that these wonderful wildlife havens remain unspoilt for future generations.

With 620,000 acres of land and 780 miles of coast belonging to the National Trust, you’re bound to find somewhere to visit not far from your doorstep – and you might not even need to pay a penny to enjoy your local location.

Free summer holiday activites

You don’t need to spend a penny to keep your kids entertained this summer…

Museums – Some museums offer free entry to some exhibits, and also host events for kids.

Parks – Head to your local park to enjoy the playgrounds, games areas, courts and splash pads. Some even have trails for kids to enjoy.

Beach – It doesn’t have to be sunny to enjoy the beach, you can go rock pooling, crabbing, make sandcastles, or enjoy a walk along the headland.

Library – If the weather is awful, head indoors and borrow books, audiobooks, dvds.

Cooking – Have your own mini bake-off, or Come Dine With Me challenge.

Playdates – Invite friends over for an afternoon of socialising.

Boardgames – Enjoy a little sibling rivalry with rounds of Monopoly or stretch your brain with Scrabble.

The National Trust has also revealed their best free attractions to visit this summer – from sky gardens to ‘city oasis’ parks.

Plus, these are the National Trust’s top family-friendly attractions with fairytale castles and ‘book jungles’.

I was instantly attracted to my step-brother when he moved in – It was all fine until I realised I was carrying his baby

A WOMAN has revealed that she instantly fell in love with her step-brother after he moved in to the family home, and ended up pregnant with his baby.

Tookie and Krys first met as teenagers, when Krys moved back in with his mother, after years of separation.

Tookie was already living with Krys’ mum, and was being raised as her step-daughter.

“When I first saw her I thought she was too good for me”, Krys told Love Don’t Judge.

“I didn’t talk to her because I was too nervous”.

However, Tookie was instantly attracted to Krys, describing his “nerdy” look as “sexy”.

The duo, who were 15 and 17 at the time soon grew close, and after Tookie initiated things, they began sleeping together.

“One thing led to another, and we made a baby”, Krys said.

The couple were able to keep their relationship under wraps until Tookie became pregnant.

Jamie, Krys’ mum, found out about the pregnancy after receiving a phone call from Tookie’s mum.

“I expected Tookie and Krys to behave to eachother like brother and sister”, Jamie said.

Krys had only just got back in contact with his mother when he got Tookie pregnant, and was worried their bond would become fractured again.

Ex On The Beach stars reveal they’re ENGAGED after four kids and cheating scandal – and the wedding is just weeks away

Jamie said she was hurt and disappointed by the actions of the pair, but still loves Tookie as a daughter.

The couple now share a daughter named Blu, who is 20 months old.

Despite his young age, Tookie said that Krys was a great help following her birth, and she didn’t have to lift a finger.

“I love the way he is, you’re a good father”, Tookie said to Krys.

Here’s why I love being a young mum

Tracy Kiss, who fell pregnant at 19, has revealed what she believes are the pros of being a young mother.

The personal trainer and blogger, from Buckinghamshire, believes women who give birth in their teens make BETTER mothers than those in their 30s.

She claims young mums snap back into shape quicker, have more energy and relate more easily to their children, meaning they’re better behaved and happier.

Tracy told Fabulous: “Women who become first-time mums in their teens make better parents than those in their 30s or 40s.

“I believe if I’d been 10 or so years older before becoming a mother then I wouldn’t have the relationship I have with my children now.

“For a start, being older I would have had less energy and therefore less patience.

“I wouldn’t be as enthusiastic to speak to people after months of sleepless nights as I was in my teens.

“My body snapped back to its pre-pregnancy size through fitness post-birth, which in turn gave me the confidence to date and find love again. I’ve never been happier than I am now at the age of 30 with two children.

“If I’d have been alone at 40 with a newborn baby I’d be more tired, less happy with my body, less energetic and far more stressed from the shock of living my life for myself instead of putting others first. Sometimes age and the innocence of ignorance is a good thing.

“As a teen mum I just got on with it, found my feet and became responsible and capable because at the time I didn’t know any different.”

The couple get lots of hate online for their unique relationship, but don’t let trolls get them down.

“If you’re still judging, then honestly, you’re miserable”, Krys said.

Touching clip Jack Osbourne reveals how dad Ozzy’s fan tributes are being saved with ‘flowers to be buried with him’

JACK Osbourne has revealed the touching way tributes left by Ozzy’s fans will be saved, with flowers to be buried at his final resting place.

The late rock legend’s son shared a heartwarming clip to Instagram and explained how hand-written letters, memorabilia, and merch are being “carefully preserved”.

They were left at the Black Sabbath Bridge after news of Ozzy’s death broke and during his funeral procession through Birmingham last week.

Jack told how every item will be recorded on a digital database and given to the Osbourne family.

A video showed all the tributes laid out in rows, being photographed and logged.

“Here’s how tributes for Ozzy Osbourne are being carefully preserved by Central BID,” read the caption.

“All items from the Black Sabbath Bridge and Navigation St Mural have now been moved to a secure location.

“Every piece is being laid out individually, catalogued and treated with care.

“Our team has been working to respectfully sort the items ensuring they’re preserved in the best possible condition.

“We will be working to create a digital record of every tribute over the next few weeks to be sent to Ozzy’s family.

“The flowers are being mulched and bagged, with the compost to be included at Ozzy’s final resting place.

“Thank you for all of your tributes.”

Ozzy Osbourne’s final months caught on camera as TWO documentaries race to air after his death

One emotional fan penned: “Such a beautiful way to respect us fans and allow the family to see how much your Dad was adored.”

Another wrote: “Imagine all the different stories in those letters and cards from people old and young, all over the world all being bought together by one person who had an impact on their lives in some way.”

“That is so awesome, Ozzy touched so many people all over the world. What a wonderful way to acknowledge his fans,” shared a third.

Someone else agreed: “This is amazing and show just how much you loved your dad and also respected his fans. You should all be proud of what you did for his legacy.”

“Wow and wow what an awesome tribute to your dad. God bless you Jack and your family,” added a fifth.

It comes after Jack paid an emotional tribute to his dad and told how his heart has “hurt too much” to speak out.

Ozzy’s youngest son shared a short video compilation of clips and photographs of himself and his father.

The 39-year-old was seen supporting his mum Sharon and his sisters Kelly, 40, and Aimee, 41, at their dad’s funeral.

He appeared on the American reality TV show The Osbournes as a child alongside his father, sisters and mother.

Jack said: “I haven’t really wanted to post anything since the passing of my father.

“My heart has hurt too much. I’m gonna keep this short because he certainly hated long rambling speeches.

“He was so many things to so many people, but I was so lucky and blessed to be a part of a very small group that got to call him Dad.

“My heart is full of so much sadness and sorrow, but also so much love and gratitude.

“I got 14,501 days with that man and I know that is such a blessing. I think this quote best describes my father.”

The tribute was followed by a quote from Hunter S. Thompson, known for writing Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

It reads: “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body… but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, ‘Wow! What a ride!'”

Jack went on to say that the quote from the American author summed up his dad, adding “he lived his life fully.”

Meanwhile Sharon earlier revealed Ozzy’s poignant final words about his fans following his farewell Black Sabbath concert.

She told Pollstar: “It was the first time, I think, that anybody’s gone into retirement and done it, where the show is streamed and it goes to charity.

“So it’s the first time anybody has said goodnight like that, it’s the perfect way, when you’ve had such a long career, to end it – I never wanted Ozzy to just disappear without some big event.

“He [Ozzy] turned around and he said to me that night, he said, ‘I had no idea that so many people liked me’.”

Last Thursday, an “incredibly emotional” funeral service was held for the rocker, a family friend told The Sun.

The family home was decorated with pictures of Ozzy, and mourners were given a photograph of him to take home.

The singer’s nearest and dearest attended, joining his wife Sharon and his children Jack, KellyAimee, and Louis, his son from his first marriage to Thelma Riley.

His official death certificate lists ‘acute myocardial infarction’ and ‘out of hospital cardiac arrest’ under the cause of death section.

It also listed coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction as “joint causes” of Ozzy’s death.

The document described his occupation as a “rock legend, songwriter and performer” in a heart-warming nod towards Ozzy.

NEIGHBOURS star Bonnie Anderson celebrated with friends and showed off her baby bump just days before she’s due to give birth.

The actress, who is best known for playing Bea Nilsson on the Aussie soap opera, is 39 weeks pregnant with her second child and revealed she’s “ready to pop.”

Bonnie, 30, was treated to an extravagant lunch by some of her closest friends who all posed around the singer and actress as she showed off her bump.

“When the girls take you for a beautiful lunch before you pop,” Bonnie captioned a photo on Instagram.

She later danced with her group of friends as she lifted up her top to show her baby belly.

“Thanks for making me feel special ladies,” Bonnie captioned a photo of the group.

Bonnie has kept fans updated about her pregnancy journey and revealed in a post that while she “can’t see anything below me,” she can “see the finish line” of her second pregnancy.

The actress, who joined Neighbours in 2018, welcomed her first child with husband Samuel Morrison in December 2022.

They have a son called Bobby Ray.

The Sun revealed how the pair later wed in a lavish ceremony in November 2023.

Before joining Neighbours in 2018, Bonnie found fame when she won Australia’s Got Talent in 2007 at the age of 12.

She then went on to forge out a successful music career and toured with Olly Murs and worked with One Direction and Demi Lovato’s producers on a number of tracks.

Neighbours legend become latest star to sign for Strictly Come Dancing after soap ending leaves him free to take part

In 2020, Bonnie was crowned the winner of The Masked Singer Australia.

Bonnie and Samuel revealed they were expecting their second child earlier this year with a sweet video.

In the clip, the 30-year-old was seen showing off her bump during a beach trip with her husband and their two-year-old son.

Neighbours stars who made it big

The long-running Aussie soap has launched the careers of some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. Here are some of the Neighbours alums who went on to make it big after starring on the soap…

Kylie Minogue

  • Before she hit the big time with her music career, Kylie shot to fame playing Charlene Mitchell on Neighbours. Shortly after her arrival, Kylie began an on and off-screen romance with co-star Jason Donovan, who played Scott Robinson, which gained the couple an army of adoring fans.

Jason Donovan

  • After his stint as Scott, singer and actor Jason became an international popstar and had his pick acting of roles. He moved to the U.K., married, had children and has since starred in over a dozen West End show, most notably Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat.

Alan Dale

  • New Zealand born actor Alan was one of Neighbours 12 original cast members having made his debut as Jim Robinson on the soap’s first episode on 18 March 1985. As the head of the Robinson clan, widower Jim lived at Number 26 Ramsay Street with his children Paul, Julie, Scott and Lucy, and was a real anchor in the community. He stayed with the show for eight years, before his character was killed off in dramatic scenes aired in 1993 but which still reverberate through the soap to this day.

Margot Robbie

  • Way before she was Barbie or Harley Quinn, Margot was best known as Ramsay Street resident Donna Freedman. Her notable storylines included her marriage to Ringo Brown and becoming a young widow following his tragic death. After three years she bid farewell to the soap and Australia with a plan to make a name for herself in Hollywood which she did when she bagged the role of Naomi Lapaglia opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street.

Jesse Spencer

  • Jesse rocked up on Ramsay street in 1994 with the rest of the Kennedy clan. He stayed for five years, literally growing up in front of the camera, but in 2000 felt it was time to spread his wings and head for Hollywood. It was certainly a smart move as he went on to bag leading roles in popular shows like House and Chicago Fire.

Russell Crowe

  • New Zealand-native Russell had a brief arc on Neighbours, appearing in four episodes of the soap 1987 as Kenny Larkin, the former cellmate of Street resident Henry Ramsay. The role obviously got him noticed though because he quickly went on to become a fully-fledged Hollywood A-lister, winning the Best Actor Oscar for his standout performance as Roman General Maximus Decimus Meridius in Gladiator.

Bonnie wrote: “Bobby’s going to be a big brother. We are beyond grateful for the new adventure.”

She then added: “Thank you for capturing these moments of the four of us @chelsdarnell I dressed the bump in @dissh and couldn’t be more obsessed with this outfit.”

She revealed that her 17-year-old needed a new kidney and while she was a match, she needed to lose weight to go through with the operation.

Shell said she needed to get down to 80kg (12.5st) so decided to give Mounjaro a go.

In just seven months, she was able to lose 5.5st and go down to 11.8st.

Shell explained that she stopped taking in Mounjaro in March and donated her kidney in April.

Now, the mum has been off the drug for six months and says she has only put on 3kg.

“My body seems to have stabilised at this weight and I’m more than happy as I look great, and saved my son’s life,” she added.

The post soon went viral and many congratulated the mum and her son in the comments.

One person wrote: “What a woman, what a mother, you gave life to your son twice.”

Another commented: “Best story I’ve read to lose weight. Well done you.”

“Aww that’s a wonderful story! So happy to hear both are doing well,” penned a third.

What are the other side effects of weight loss jabs?

Like any medication, weight loss jabs can have side effects.

Common side effects of injections such as Ozempic include:

Nausea: This is the most commonly reported side effect, especially when first starting the medication. It often decreases over time as your body adjusts.

Vomiting: Can occur, often in conjunction with nausea.

Diarrhea: Some people experience gastrointestinal upset.

Constipation: Some individuals may also experience constipation.

Stomach pain or discomfort: Some people may experience abdominal pain or discomfort.

Reduced appetite: This is often a desired effect for people using Ozempic for weight loss.

Indigestion: Can cause a feeling of bloating or discomfort after eating.

Serious side effects can also include:

Pancreatitis: In rare cases, Ozempic may increase the risk of inflammation of the pancreas, known as pancreatitis, which can cause severe stomach pain, nausea, and vomiting.

Kidney problems: There have been reports of kidney issues, including kidney failure, though this is uncommon.

Thyroid tumors: There’s a potential increased risk of thyroid cancer, although this risk is based on animal studies. It is not confirmed in humans, but people with a history of thyroid cancer should avoid Ozempic.

Vision problems: Rapid changes in blood sugar levels may affect vision, and some people have reported blurry vision when taking Ozempic.

Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar): Especially if used with other medications like sulfonylureas or insulin.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “How amazing are you! You should be immensely proud of yourself not just because of your weight loss (and you look amazing) but because of saving your son.”

“Wow what a fantastic story,” claimed a fifth

Someone else added: “You look incredible and what an amazing gift to give your son.”

It’s understood Stacey and Joe have taken their family away to Turkey, where they stayed last year and the year before.

The Turkish hotel they usually stay at is the Regnum Carya in Antalya, where rooms start from around £1,000 per person per night.

They have been there so many times, Stacey now refers to it as her “second home”.

The couple have a blended family of six children.

They share three kids together – Rex, six, Rose, three, and Belle, two – while Stacey is also mum to Zachary, 17, and Leighton, 12, and Joe has 18-year-old son Harry with his ex Emma Sophocleous.

However, in the family photo from their holiday fans were quick to point out that Harry wasn’t on the trip.

Stacey posted slew of sweet snaps of her and Joe with their other five kids and wrote: “Time to make some memories my whole world 🥹 can’t wait for some special time with my babies.

“Got one picture of us all the second one is every photo ever happy summer everyone from pickle cottage to our second home at this point.”

But while most followers pointed out what a lovely photos they were, some took to the comments to cruelly mum-shame Stacey over this.

One fan wrote: “Lovely family pic. Wish Joe eldest son was included more.”

While another added: “Why is Joe’s eldest son never with them.”

This person said: “I agree would be nice for them to acknowledge they’re missing one!”

Their holiday comes just days after it was reported how Stacey and Joe have made a “vow” amid “silly bickering”, according to a source.

It comes after “tension” between the popular couple has recently been captured on TV.

Stacey Solomon’s career so far

Stacey Solomon has been a familiar face on viewers’ screens for over a decade. Let’s take a look back at her career.

The X Factor (2009): Stacey competed in series six of long-running ITV singing competition The X Factor. During her time in the show, she was mentored by Danni Minogue in the ‘Girls’ category. The star finished in third place, behind Joe McElderry and Olly Murs.

I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here (2010); In late 2010, Stacey headed to the infamous I’m A Celeb Aussie jungle. After 21 days, she triumphed to win the tenth series. It was through I’m A Celeb that she met future husband Joe Swash – who’d won two years earlier and was hosting the ITV2 spinoff.

Celebrity Juice (2011―2013, 2016―2019): The star appeared as a panellist on 21 episodes of the comedy panel game show hosted by Keith Lemon. Stacey was a regular in the 21st series, broadcast in 2019.

Loose Women (2016 – present): Stacey has been a permanent panel member of the daytime show since 2016. She previously made guest appearances in 2011 and 2012.

Sort Your Life Out (2022 -present): This BBC show sees Stacey, with the help of an expert team, transform participants’ living spaces after removing clutter.

However, according to a source, the couple have vowed to take time out to remember why they’re so good for each other.

During their BBC reality show, the pair shared a close-up look into the ups and downs of life at Pickle Cottage and their relationship.

The source told New Magazine: “There’s tension in the air and there is a bit of bickering. But it puts a strain on any relationship.

“You look at those on reality shows, such as the wives in The Real Housewives, with cameras in their houses 24/7, and a lot of their relationships crack under the pressure.“

Despite this, the source maintained that a break away from the cameras, however small, is just what Stacey and Joe need.

The source added: “They’re worried that if they don’t have a break from the cameras and the limelight, it could affect what makes their relationship special.

“They’re still very much in love and are really trying to focus on each other amid the silly bickering and moments of tension, and remember why they got together in the first place – and why they’re actually so perfect together.

“They have vowed to carve out some quality time this summer to do that.”

Schoolboy, 6, died after bumping head while racing friends in playground tragedy – The Sun

A SIX-year-old boy died in his sleep after accidentally bumping his head while racing with friends at school, an inquest heard.

Mohammed Yaseen Uddin, who attended Marlborough Primary School in Small Heath, Birmingham, died on December 11 last year.

He had been playing with pals during his lunch break the day before and accidentally bumped his head on a wall.

The youngster told a school receptionist: “I was running really fast, racing my friend and bumped into the wall.”

As reported by Birmingham Live, an inquest heard how Yaseen picked himself up and appeared to behave normally after the fall.

A paediatric school first aider applied an ice pack to a visible bump on the pupil’s forehead.

Yaseen’s mother and sister were given a letter with medical advice upon picking him up.

The inquest, held today at Birmingham Coroner’s Court, heard the youngster appeared to be acting normally after going home.

He had attended a local mosque after school and celebrated his sibling’s birthday with cake.

Later in the evening, Yaseen told his father he didn’t feel well, and he was given some Ibuprofen.

At around 11pm, the little boy complained about head pain “out of nowhere” and started to throw up.

His family were on their way to the hospital but took him back home to change after he vomited again.

Five teens arrested for ‘attempted murder’ as boy, 14, fights for life after stabbing in broad daylight

The inquest heard they tried to leave again but Yaseen told them he just wanted to sleep, so they put him to bed.

Dad Simriel Uddin said he looked in on his son at 3am and again at 5am when he got up for work, both times Yaseen was asleep.

But the youngster was tragically found dead a few hours later.

Heartbroken dad Simriel Uddin previously told the Mail: “He was a bright, joyful spirit and he was a beautiful, kind-hearted little boy.

“He had a head collision in school -the school told my wife ‘Oh, your son has bumped his head.’

“When she asked if it was anything serious they said, ‘No it’s nothing serious, it’s just a bump’.”

The inquest heard how Yaseen’s brother Khalil performed CPR while waiting for an ambulance.

Paramedics rushed Yaseen to hospital at around 11am but the six-year-old was pronounced dead at 12.08pm.

Guirish Solanki, a consultant paediatric neurosurgeon, concluded Yaseen had suffered a “traumatic head injury when he struck his head on the wall.”

Yaseen’s cause of death was given as a traumatic right frontal extra-axial haemorrhage, which means a bleed outside of the brain but within the skull.

Louise Hunt, the Senior Coroner for Birmingham and Solihull said: “Yaseen was a six-year-old little boy who was normally fit and well.

“He was described as happy and engaged when he came to school, a big character, who was always bubbly.”

She confirmed Yaseen had been playing with his friends before falling at around 12.29pm.

The coroner was also satisfied the family had been given a letter outlining medical advice, despite the fact they previously disputed this.

She said: “This was a tragic accident and I record in conclusion this was an accident.

“I’d like to reiterate and offer my condolences to all the family. It must be very hard for all of you and I’m very sorry if today’s inquest has made things more difficult. I’m so very sorry for your loss.”

Speaking after the inquest, Yaseen’s sister Sumaya told BirminghamLive: “Thank you to everyone for their support.”

In a previous statement, Razia Ali, the executive headteacher at Marlborough, said: “Our school community has been left devastated by the tragic passing of one of our wonderful and much-loved pupils.

“Yaseen was an incredibly helpful, kind and caring pupil who brought a smile to the face of everyone who came across him.

“I know I speak for everyone when I say he will be deeply missed. All our thoughts and prayers are with Yaseen’s family and friends.”

Katie welcomed three of the bald cats into her home back in October – despite being blasted by animal charities for doing so.

On her Snapchat page on Friday, the mum of five told how Doris had given birth, and has now revealed she’s swerved a holiday to the Isle of Wight to look after the new litter.

Yet instead of kicking back and relaxing, she is keeping her house cosy with electric blankets and regular feeding patterns for the new arivals.

In a video which showed her in a cream jumper and her dark hair in a straight style, she added the caption “sad news” and four emotional Emoji icons.

In the clip, Katie told her followers there had been a death and said: “An update on the kittens, one unfortunately died.

“That’s the one wrapped in tissue, two hours after we fed it.

“Luckily I’m trying to help the kittens latch on to the mum, two are just about doing it but I’m having to put them on it, because they are so premature.

“As you can see how knackered I am, every two and a half hours through the day and through the night I’m feeding them for the mum.

“She’s a good mum, and then she keeps bringing one to the bed with her, she did that earlier, I think that was a sign to come and look in the box as one had died.”

Katie Price admits her family are panicked over star’s weight loss as mum fears eating disorder and dad calls her ‘thin’ legs ‘terrible’

Katie added: “But that’s good because she trusts us and loves us so thats good.

“So I’ve got two latching on to her now, so thats the update.”

She then panned the camera to new parent Doris, sitting on her bed, as she cooed: “Hey Doris good girl.”

CHARITY BACKLASH

Katie’s troubled pet history

November 2017

One of Katie’s horses was killed on the A24 after it broke lose from its field. She announced the death on social media and said she was devastated.

February 2018

Katie’s dog Queenie was hit by a car near her home, with the former model blaming a delivery driver for leaving the gate open.

November 2018

Katie claimed the family’s pet chameleon, called Marvin, died from a broken heart after her children Junior and Princess moved in with her ex husband Peter Andre.

February 2020

Her Alsatian Sparkle lost her life after getting lose and being hit by a car. Katie posted the news on social media but was hammered by fans who called for her to be more careful.

July 2020

Fans rounded on Katie after her daughter Princess’s puppy Rolo suffocated. JRC Bullies who gifted the dog to Katie were furious and said: “We are heartbroken that this has happened as we told Katie not to leave a small puppy on its own. “We can’t believe that the puppy was left unattended as we had left strict instructions.”

November 2022

Katie came under fire after she revealed her pomeranian Sharon had been hit by a car and killed outside her Horsham home.

June 2023

Katie was slammed by PETA after her seventh pet was killed. She revealed her dog blade had been run over on the same stretch as road as her last dog Sharon.

October 2023

Katie had four Chihuahuas but in October she sold two of them for £2k each.

She showed her affections for the trio, even pushing them around in a pram.

Yet, at the time, she could not escape backlash from charity PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).

They called for the need for an injunction to be put in place, stopping Katie from owning pets completely.

They had previously offered Katie £5,000 to stop buying pets, which she had not responded to.

PETA UK founder Ingrid Newkirk told The Sun: “If there was a way to file an injunction to stop this serial animal killer, PETA would do so, as this woman doesn’t care about the lives she wastes or listen to vital advice and is still treating live animals like stuffed toys: as disposable.

“If William Hill took totally tasteless bets, the odds would favour those betting on how little time this kitten has on Earth, given the hideous track record of animal deaths in Price’s custody. No one could call it ‘care’.”

The new additions to the family came just a few months after she revealed she had to put down her last “designer” cat, Frog, after being diagnosed with a neurological disease.

She had bought Frog in February for £1,200, naming him in a sweet tribute to her son, Harvey, who loves frogs, but came under fire months later when she shared a video of the pet wrestling with a dog.

Katie had eight pets die in just six years – including four dogs and a horse all getting hit by cars.

She has also given away pets, including an out-of-control Alsatian called Bear for attacking other animals.

At the beginning of 2024, Katie gave away a puppy called Tank because he ‘no longer looked cute on Instagram’.

She also currently has a pet pug, named Captain, and avidly looks after horses.

Each authority has different qualifying criteria and gives support in different ways and for different amounts.

It means that what you are able to apply for depends on where you live, as well as your financial situation.

The money is usually given as cash transfer or through shopping or food vouchers.

Whereas households in other areas including Doncaster may be more likely to get up to £300 to support with gas, electricity and food costs.

Winter Fuel payment

The Winter Fuel Payment is made every year to help cover the cost of energy over the colder months.

It has been changed in recent months so that fewer can claim.

However, the cash boost, worth up to £300, is still valuable for those who quality – particularly those on Pension Credit.

The cash is usually paid in November and December, with some made up until the end of January the following year.

If you haven’t got your payment by then, you need to call the office that pays your benefits.

Households eligible for the payment are usually told via a letter sent in October or November each year.

If you think you meet the criteria, but don’t automatically get the winter fuel payment, you will have to apply on the government’s website.

The Child Winter Heating Assistance

If you’re based in Scotland, you could receive a child winter heating assistance payment of £255.80.

You get child winter heating payment for a child or young person under 19 who lives in Scotland and who is entitled to:

  • the highest rate of the care component of child disability payment (CDP) or disability living allowance (DLA), or
  • the enhanced rate of the daily living component of adult disability payment (ADP) or personal independence payment (PIP).

They must be entitled to the relevant disability benefit during the ‘qualifying week’, which is the week beginning on the third Monday in September (w/c Septmber 15 in 2025).

You do not have to make a claim for the payment, but it should be paid by Social Security Scotland, usually in November.

If you think you’re entitled but have not received payment by the end of December, you should contact Social Security Scotland on 0800 182 2222.

Warm Home Discount

The Warm Home Discount is an automatic £150 discount off energy bills.

You’ll have to be in receipt of one of the following benefits to qualify for one of the payments:

If you don’t claim any of the above benefits, you won’t be eligible for the payment.

Cold Weather payment

Cold weather payments are dished out when temperatures are recorded as, or forecast to be, zero degrees or below, on average, for seven consecutive days between November 1 and March 31.

Eligible Brits are then given extra money to help heat their homes.

You get £25 for each seven-day period where the weather is below zero Celsius on average during this time frame.

You can check if your area has had a cold weather payment by popping your postcode into the government’s tool on its website.

You’ll need to be on certain benefits to qualify, which are:

  • Pension credit
  • Income support
  • Income-based jobseeker’s allowance
  • Income-related employment and support allowance
  • Universal Credit
  • Support for mortgage interest

Those in Scotland don’t get cold weather payments but may be able to receive a winter heating payment instead.

Student maintenance payments loans

Student maintenance loans are paid to university students to help cover living costs such as rent.

They are usually paid at the start of each new term, so you typically receive three payments a year.

Maintenance Loans are paid straight into your student bank account in three (almost) equal instalments throughout the year.

The amount you will receive depends on where in the UK you’re from, whether you’ll be living at home or not, your household income and how long you’re studying for.

The average Maintenance Loan is approximately £6,116 a year.

Are you missing out on benefits?

YOU can use a benefits calculator to help check that you are not missing out on money you are entitled to

Charity Turn2Us’ benefits calculator works out what you could get.

Entitledto’s free calculator determines whether you qualify for various benefits, tax credit and Universal Credit.

MoneySavingExpert.com and charity StepChange both have benefits tools powered by Entitledto’s data.

You can use Policy in Practice’s calculator to determine which benefits you could receive and how much cash you’ll have left over each month after paying for housing costs.

Your exact entitlement will only be clear when you make a claim, but calculators can indicate what you might be eligible for.

Fears over surge of ‘nasty disease’ on the way – as health officials identify two UK hotspots

HEALTH officials have warned a surge of a “nasty disease” could be on the way if vaccination isn’t prioritised.

Cases still remain high, particularly in two areas of the UK.

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is urging patients to prioritise vaccine catch-up appointments this summer, with the latest data showing continued high levels of measles cases.

Fears have now been raised over a further surge once the new school term begins.

Measles activity has increased since April 2025, says the UKHSA.

The most recent figures show an additional 145 measles cases have been reported since the last report was published on July 3.

Cases continue to predominantly be in children under the age of 10 years, and London and the North West have been driving the increase most.

Since January 1, there have been 674 laboratory confirmed measles cases reported in England, with 48 per cent of these cases in London, 16 per cent in the North West, and 10 per cent in the East of England.

There’s also been a global increase in measles cases, including Europe, over the last year.

The UKHSA has also stressed holiday travel and international visits to see family this summer could lead to rising measles cases in England when the new school term begins.

Dr Vanessa Saliba, UKHSA Consultant Epidemiologist, said: “The summer months offer parents an important opportunity to ensure their children’s vaccinations are up to date, giving them the best possible protection when the new school term begins.

“It is never too late to catch up. Do not put it off and regret it later.

Powerful new video urges all parents to protect their children from surge of deadly Victorian disease as millions ‘at risk’

“Measles spreads very easily and can be a nasty disease, leading to complications like ear and chest infections and inflammation of the brain with some children tragically ending up in hospital and suffering life-long consequences.

“Two doses of the MMR vaccine is the best way to protect yourself and your family from measles.

Babies under the age of 1 and some people who have weakened immune systems cannot have the vaccine and are at risk of more serious complications if they get measles.

“They rely on the rest of us getting the vaccine to protect them.”

The first MMR vaccine is offered to infants when they turn one year old and the second dose to pre-school children when they are around three years and four months old.

Around 99 per cent of those who have two doses will be protected against measles and rubella.

Although mumps protection is slightly lower, cases in vaccinated people are much less severe.

Anyone, whatever age, who has not had two doses can contact their GP surgery to book an appointment.

Dr Amanda Doyle, National Director for Primary Care and Community Services at NHS England, said: “The MMR vaccine is provided free by the NHS and I would urge all parents to check their child’s vaccination records before the new school year or summer travel, particularly as Europe is reporting the highest number of measles cases in 25 years.

“While the NHS delivered tens of thousands of additional MMR vaccinations last year, too many eligible children remain unvaccinated, and we are working with local authorities and the UK Health Security Agency to reach more youngsters, with enhanced vaccination offers in areas with higher cases, including vaccination buses and community catch-up sessions.”

The main symptoms of measles

MEASLES is highly contagious and can cause serious problems in some people.

The infection usually starts with cold-like symptoms, followed by a rash a few days later.

The first signs include:

  • A high temperature
  • A runny or blocked nose
  • Sneezing
  • A cough
  • Red, sore, watery eyes

Small white spots may then appear inside the cheeks and on the back of the lips.

A rash tends to come next. This usually starts on the face and behind the ears before spreading to the rest of the body.

The spots are sometimes raised and join together to form blotchy patches. They are not normally itchy.

The rash looks brown or red on white skin. It may be harder to see on darker skin.

Complications are rare, but measles can lead to pneumonia, meningitis, blindness, seizures, and sometimes death.

Life’s most unmissable moments from getting your first job to driving a car, survey reveals

LIFE’S biggest moments you’ll never forget include holding your newborn, seeing your child’s first steps – and getting the keys to your first home, according to new research.

The study, conducted across the UK, revealed the memories Brits treasure most – with events like driving solo, falling in love, and a child’s first day at school all ranking high.

The poll of 2,000 adults also found people in the UK experience around five unforgettable moments each year.

Saying goodbye to a loved one and hearing a child say their first words also made the top 25.

Other standout moments include passing exams, learning to ride a bike, and being told “I love you” for the very first time.

“These simple yet powerful experiences often stay with us for life.

The research was commissioned by Samsung to celebrate the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold7 – its slimmest foldable phone yet, built for capturing life’s biggest (and smallest) memories.

As part of the campaign, the tech giant released a touching poem, Life Unfolds Fast, written by Georgie Jones and narrated by Martin Kemp.

The accompanying film showcases real-life moments from people of all walks of life – and intimate snapshots from Martin’s own family history.

Martin Kemp said: “Some of my life’s greatest memories are those simple moments at home – playing with my kids in the garden, holding Harley and Roman as babies, and singing with my wife in the car.

“These are moments that truly define our lives.

“Sharing these personal glimpses allows people to see how small, intimate moments become the big memories we want to go back to over again.”

/

The majority of adults (76 per cent) said unforgettable experiences shape who we are, while 85 per cent regularly look back at special memories on their phones.

Whether it’s to lift their mood, reflect on happy times, or share with loved ones, phones have become the modern memory box.

In fact, 60 per cent said their digital memories are just as precious as physical keepsakes like photo albums or letters.

But it’s not all picture-perfect. Nearly half of those surveyed admitted they worry about forgetting key life events.

For 46 per cent, the biggest concern is losing memories involving loved ones – such as family milestones or meaningful conversations.

That’s why so many turn to their phones, with 41 per cent using photos and videos to hold onto those treasured experiences.

However, 49 per cent confessed they feel anxious when their phone storage gets full, fearing they might miss capturing something important.

The average Brit replays special videos or looks at meaningful photos about four times a month.

And some are proper memory collectors – with one in eight claiming to have more than 10 hours of footage saved on their phone.

Looking ahead, the most anticipated future milestone is seeing someone close to them achieve something they’ve worked hard for – from graduating to landing a dream job.

Annika Bizon from Samsung said: “Our research shows that over 40 per cent of us take photos and videos for the sole purpose to not forget our best memories.

“It allows you to capture and revisit the memories you never want to forget, feeling their warmth and emotion time and time again.”

The campaign encourages people to reflect on their own milestones – big or small – and not to let life’s most precious moments pass unnoticed.

Because sometimes, it’s not just the big wins we remember most – but the quiet, everyday moments that unfold in between.

I was dreading my baby’s first flight but a 45p buy kept her occupied for 3 HOURS & made zero mess, it’s genius

A FIRST-TIME mum dreading flying with her baby daughter has shared how she got through it without any tears

Lala, from Germany, took to social media to share her genius parenting hack just in time for any summer holidays you have planned.

Woman holding a baby at an airport gate.

And the best part is that the travel hack costs just 45p.

In the clip, Lala and her partner could be seen boarding the plane with their baby asleep in her mum’s arms.

She said: “This was her very first flight and we timed it perfectly with her nap. She slept right through takeoff but eventually she woke up.”

So how did the parents keep her entertained for the three hour flight? Lettuce.

READ MORE PARENTING HACKS

Lala said they often give their tot lettuce when they’re trying to eat in peace, so decided to try it on the plane.

“It always keeps her occupied for so long. And I thought, if it works at home, why would it not work on a plane?” she explained.

Like most kids, her daughter was obsessed with tearing things up and trying to put them in her mouth.

“Like bread, paper, tissue, anything. But bread is way too messy, like there are crumbs everywhere,” she explained. And with paper or tissue, we always have to keep an eye on her that she doesn’t eat it. But lettuce?

“Lettuce is genius. It has a really fun texture and it’s not messy at all. And it’s safe if she decides to munch on it. Not just safe, but it’s actually a really refreshing and healthy snack for her.”

“This kept her occupied almost the entire flight.”

I tested the viral £17.99 Amazon underseat cabin bag to see how many outfits I could fit in

While Lala’s easy travel hack was worth giving a go, it’s worth noting that some airlines may not let you bring it on, depending on what country you are flying to.

Others may not let you bring it into the country when you land so you’ll have to chuck it away.

But that won’t matter too much as the hack costs just 45p as two heads of lettuce cost 90p from Waitrose.

The clip quickly went viral on her TikTok account @lalaleluu with over 1.7 million views and 267k likes.

Plenty of parents took to the comments thanking her for the advice.

One person wrote: “Wow this is genius. About to take my baby on her first flight alone and I might try this.”

How to make travelling with kids a breeze

IT can be stressful travelling with kids, but there are a few things you can do to make it easier. Here’s five we’d recommend:

Snacks

It might sound simple, but it’s a good idea to pack a LOT of snacks. Think of how much you might need, and double it. After all, it doesn’t matter if you have too much – your kids can eat it another time – but it will be a big issue if you run out. There are also snack boxes with lots of little dividers that are great for long journeys as kids can pick at those throughout.

Entertainment

This covers a whole range of things – from a tablet to watch films or play games if you’ve got older kids, to books and colouring. It’s advisable to pack a variety of options, especially if you’re on a long journey or have various legs on your haul.

Toys

If you’ve got a baby or a toddler, there are some sensory-type toys you can buy that can really help keep little ones entertained. These include ones that you stick on the windows of a plane, or on a tray on a highchair, that they can spin and play with to their hearts’ content.

Equipment

There are a whole host of things on the market that aim to make sleeping on a plane loads easier. These include a hammock that you can attack to your tray which hangs down to put your feet on. You can also get blow up cushions to turn a seat into a bed for littles, and neck cushions that boast you will be able to use for a decent night’s sleep wherever you are.

Yourselves!

Don’t underestimate how entertaining you are to your kids. Learn some games you can play with them, and songs you can sing, as kids always love the opportunity to have one-on-one time with their parents.

Another commented: “I have a 14 hour flight with my baby next month. I’ll just bring a whole field.”

“You, Lala, have just unlocked a whole new toy for all of us mums out there thank you,” penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “This is some next level parenting!! Bravo!!”

“Genius idea,” claimed a fifth

Someone else added: “This is such a good idea!!”
