The Olympic swimmer tied the knot with Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Holly, but the lead up to the wedding was full of drama after he reportedly uninvited his parents – Caroline and Mark.

Only Adam’s sister Bethany attended from his side, serving as a bridesmaid alongside Holly’s sisters, Tilly and Megan.

This came after Adam’s feud with his mum exploded last month when she was not invited to Holly’s hen do.  

But now Holly has shared some intimate details about the night before the big day.

She also revealed how her siblings played a ‘special’ role in her big day.

In the caption of her latest post, Holly penned: “The night before our wedding we hosted an intimate cocktail party to kick start the Weekend Celebrations.”

She went on: “My siblings all did a speech which was so special and we celebrated with cake, spicy margs and then an early night, ready for the big day!!”

Fans flocked to the comments, with some quick to bring up Adam’s falling out with his parents.

One person penned: “Have some respect for your parents as well, who supported you through every thick and thin and made you the person you are today.”

Another asked: “What about his MOM and DAD?”

This comes after the Olympian shared a clip from his wedding speech over the weekend.

Taking to Instagram, he shared a post of his speech in which he declared he would “always choose” Holly.

As Adam made the promise, he was seen getting emotional and wiping tears from his eyes.

But fans weighed in on the emotional vow, with one person commenting under the video: “I’ll always choose you – hmmmm, can’t help but wonder how Victoria [Beckham] felt hearing that sentence, especially since it’s the same one Brooklyn keeps using in his posts as a subtle jab at his family.”

This comment touched upon the ongoing Beckham family feud since Brooklyn married wife Nicola Peltz.

The guest list for their big day included the Beckhams and several other famous faces, despite some notable absent loved ones from Adam’s side.

Myha’la is a married woman — and has been for a year.

The actor, known for HBO’s finance drama “Industry” and dark comedy “Bodies Bodies Bodies,” revealed that she and Armando Rivera tied the knot last year. She celebrated their anniversary via Instagram on Monday, sharing photos of herself with Rivera and pictures of friends and family during their intimate ceremony.

“One year of marriage,” she wrote in the caption of the post. The 29-year-old actor also included a disclaimer to reassure followers they weren’t the only ones who missed out on the wedding news.

“Sos if this is how you’re finding out, promise we didn’t tell most everyone,” she wrote. The San Jose native, birth name Myha’la Herrold, also expressed gratitude to her family and friends for “helping make this day so very magical.”

The spouses married five years after striking up a conversation during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to W Magazine. Myha’la gained popularity for her portrayal of dogged aspiring finance analyst Harper Stern in “Industry,” which debuted in November 2020. Rivera was among the fans who messaged Myha’la and her co-stars amid the show’s success. Rivera, a soccer player and an actor, then decided to interview his would-be-wife for a college journalism assignment.

“I thought, it’ll be five, 10 minutes, whatever. And immediately was like, ‘Whoa, you’re so hot and nice!’ ” Myha’la told W Magazine in 2023. “We talked much longer than we expected.”

They finally took their relationship offline, meeting in person in the Bay Area at the beginning of 2021. Since then, the pair have flaunted their romance on social media and various high-profile events, most recently the red carpet premiere of “Industry” Season 4 in New York City on Thursday.

“Industry” returns to HBO on Sunday. The drama hails from creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay and also stars Ken Leung, Marisa Abela, Harry Lawtey, Kit Harington and Sagar Radia.

Elle Simone Scott, a chef and cookbook author best known for her work on “America’s Test Kitchen,” has died. She was 49.

Describing her as “one of [the organization’s] brightest stars,” “America’s Test Kitchen” Chief Content Officer Dan Souza confirmed in a statement Thursday that Scott died Monday after a long battle with ovarian cancer. The news was first announced Wednesday on “ATK’s” Instagram.

“Scott brought warmth and a vibrant spirit to everything she did,” Souza said. “Friends and colleagues will remember [her] for her ability to create community and provide opportunities for others, both inside and outside of work … Her legacy will live on at America’s Test Kitchen and in the homes and hearts of the millions of home cooks whose lives she touched.”

A Detroit native, Scott joined “America’s Test Kitchen” in 2016 and became the first Black woman cast member on the popular PBS cooking show. In addition to authoring cookbooks “Boards: Stylish Spreads for Casual Gatherings” and “Food Gifts: 150+ Irresistible Recipes for Crafting Personalized Presents,” she hosted “The Walk-In” podcast and worked as a food stylist.

In a tribute on Instagram, friend and fellow TV chef Carla Hall praised Scott for being “a force” and “a trailblazer.”

“At America’s Test Kitchen, Elle helped open doors that had long been closed — becoming one of the first Black women audiences saw in the test kitchen, and doing so with grace, authority, and joy,” wrote Hall. “Her voice mattered. Her work mattered. She mattered.”

According to WBUR, Scott, who lived in Boston, pivoted to a career in food in 2008 after she lost her home, car and job as a social worker during the recession.

“The thought occurred to me, ‘if I have to do something for the next 25 years of my life, it better be something I love,’ ” Scott said during a 2019 radio segment. “The only thing I could think of was cooking. It was the one thing that brought me peace and joy.”

She became an advocate for representation in food media and the culinary world, co-founding SheChef Inc., an organization for women chefs of color that provides mentorship to young women pursuing a career in the field, in 2013.

“I thought it would be a great way to create a network to bring those underrepresented people together to see how we could support each other, create a network where we can help each other grow professionally — also to just deal with the angst of being women in kitchens where we are the only women in the kitchen,” Scott told WTOP News in 2019.

Scott was first diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2016, according to the Detroit News, but told the outlet she was cancer-free in 2020.

“Elle faced ovarian cancer with courage and honesty, using her platform to educate, advocate, and uplift even while fighting for her life,” Hall said in her tribute. “We honor you, Elle. Your legacy lives on in every kitchen you inspired and every cook who finally saw themselves reflected back.”

There are some things that make a person happy they’re not a millennial mom. Ashley Tisdale’s mommy group drama is one of those things.

Because Tisdale — now Ashley Tisdale French — sounds like she might be stuck in her own “High School Musical,” and it looks as if Hilary Duff’s husband just threw a stink bomb under the bleachers.

Adding to the drama: Duff and Mandy Moore are rumored to be part of the group, though Tisdale French has annoyingly refused to name names.

“Since becoming a public figure as a teenager, it’s often the thing I least expect that people most want to talk about,” the former child star wrote in an essay for New York Magazine that echoes what she wrote a while back on her own blog. “Sometimes, I’ll say something offhandedly, only to see it turn into a headline or start a conversation on TikTok.”

Bottom line, per the essay, is that Tisdale French — who married composer Christopher French in 2014 — was pregnant during the pandemic. She missed out on baby showers and prenatal yoga classes and handing her newborn baby off to acquaintances. Then a friend brought together a group of new moms.

“[F]inally, we were able to be together, and our kids were able to be together, and it all felt right,” she wrote.

The founder of the Being Frenshe line of personal care products thought she had joined a group of cool kids who did cool things.

“I felt energized by being around women who understood the challenge of feeding a baby while taking a Zoom call.”

She literally called them cool.

“[I]t made me hopeful about finding the balance between fulfilling work and family life, since all these cool women were able to do it. Maybe we’d be able to share our secrets to success.”

Then social media burst her bubble.

“I remember being left out of a couple of group hangs, and I knew about them because Instagram made sure it fed me every single photo and Instagram Story.”

She wrote that she realized her mommy group was just like high school.

“Even though it had been decades since tenth grade, the experience of being left out felt so similar.”

But now she was a grown-up, so she took a stand.

“So that’s exactly what I texted to the group after being left out from yet another group hang: ‘This is too high school for me and I don’t want to take part in it anymore.’”

People didn’t react well, she said. One mommy sent flowers, then didn’t acknowledge her thank-you. Another was like, “You weren’t invited? I thought you were.”

Keep in mind, this is part of a series titled “It’s Been a Year,” which includes essays about a woman learning via DNA test results that she wasn’t the person she thought she was and one from actor Rebecca Gayheart about going through estranged husband Eric Dane’s ALS diagnosis and subsequent care.

Then again, it also includes a Kathy Griffin essay about post-divorce dating at age 65 that includes some serious name-dropping — “It wasn’t my idea; it was all Sia and our friend Nia Vardalos’s fault. We were at Sia’s house, just being silly girls, when they dared me to do it.” — and a detailed discussion of condoms.

But back to Tisdale French.

“Why me? The truth is, I don’t know and I probably never will. What I do know is that it took me back to an unpleasant but familiar feeling I thought I’d left behind years ago.”

She was more specific about what happened in her older blog post, by the way.

“I realized that there were group text chains that didn’t include everyone, which led to cliques forming within the larger group. And after the third or fourth time of seeing social media photos of everyone else at a hangout that I didn’t get invited to, it felt like I wasn’t really part of the group after all.”

She also shared a revelation with her blog readers.

“If a mom group consistently leaves you feeling hurt, drained, or left out, it’s not the mom group for you. (Even if it used to be!) It’s no longer serving you in a way that lifts you up, and you don’t have to stay out of obligation or anything else.”

We will never know how far into either essay Hilary Duff’s husband got. We do know that Matthew Koma didn’t hesitate to pull out the Burn Book.

Koma got riled up enough over it that on Instagram, he mimicked Tisdale French’s repost of New York Magazine’s promotional post about the essay, slapping a picture of his own face over hers and changing the headline from “Breaking Up With My Toxic Mom Group” to his own: “When You’re The Most Self Obsessed Tone Deaf Person On Earth, Other Moms Tend To Shift Focus To Their Actual Toddlers,” with “A Mom Group Tell All Through A Father’s Eyes” as a sub-headline.

Alas, he posted it as an Instagram story, now expired, so we can imagine it only with the help of outlets such as People, which for the longest while has been writing about Reddit AITAH posts and the subsequent comments telling the original poster whether they are indeed the jerk in a particular situation. (Not that any jerks are being discussed here.)

Tisdale French doesn’t name names in her essay, but Koma’s reaction seems to indicate that former child star Duff, 38, might have been one of the allegedly mean moms who was definitely not being named. And Duff and Koma hosted former child star Moore, 41, and her family after last year’s Eaton fire in Altadena, when Moore’s home burned down, so some might bet on Moore also being among the mothers of small children in former child star Tisdale French’s group.

Tisdale French, meanwhile, apparently anticipated this kind of speculation in reaction to the New York essay because she had experienced it after blogging about the same topic. And apparently it’s all wrong, wrong, wrong.

“It’s a subject that has made women DM me to say ‘I feel seen’ and to share their most emotional stories with me,” she wrote for the magazine.

“It has also made wannabe online sleuths try to do some investigating like they’re on ‘CSI’ (please, don’t even try — whatever you think is true isn’t even close).”

Cool? Uncool? Christopher French, Ashley’s husband, may have made his own decision on that already.

“Underrated life skill,” French wrote on Wednesday morning in an Instagram story, quoting author and mindfulness coach Cory Allen. “Pausing to decide if it’s worth your energy.”

CRUZ Beckham’s girlfriend Jackie Apostle has revealed her surprise career move – and it could spark rivalry with Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz.

The talented star is already known for being a music producer and model and now she wants to add another string to her bow.

Jackie revealed in a lengthy video that she wants to make movies, but musical ones.

She opened the post up with saying how this was one of her New Year’s resolutions.

Jackie then said: “I really want to write a musical and I’ve wanted to write a musical for a really long time. I know it sounds lame and I know a lot of musicals are s**t but mine will not be.”

To clarify what type of musical she meant, she wrote over the top of the clip “not Broadway, but movies”.

Continuing, Jackie said: “And I’ve always loved musicals. I want to write. you know something as timeless and iconic as Grease or something you know Disney Pixar vibes.

“I would love that as well. I’m a huge fan of like Rio. The music is just unbelievable. In a dream world.”

Jackie ended the video with: “I think 2026 is the year you make things happen and you expect the unexpected.”

CRUZ SPEAKS OUT

Meanwhile, leading up to Christmas, Jackie’s boyfriend Cruz made several attempts to extend an olive branch to his big brother amid the high profile feud.

One of which was a photo he shared of himself with both of his brothers, Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham, 23.

Across the snap Cruz wrote: “Love you guys.”

However, despite this olive branch, things took a bad turn shortly before Christmas.

It came when Cruz bluntly revealed the Beckhams woke up to being blocked by Brooklyn.

It was initially thought that the Beckham family had “unfollowed” Brooklyn’s account, as The Sun on Sunday reported yesterday.

Cruz soon put things straight.

Pulling no punches, he shared a post which read: “Not true.

“My mum and dad would never unfollow their son.

“Let’s get the facts right.

“They woke up blocked  . . .  as did I.”

In a TikTok post after Cruz spoke out, Brooklyn played Lady Gaga’s song Telephone and wrote the lyrics: “Sorry I cannot hear you I’m kinda busy.”

The Beckham family feud has been rumbling on for most of the year, ever since Brooklyn and Nicola snubbed his dad’s 50th birthday.

The eldest of the Beckham boys is said to have left dad David “heartbroken” after he snubbed his milestone celebrations.

Recently Brooklyn and Nicola both shared photos from their Christmas with her parents, far away from the Beckhams.

Last month, Brooklyn also skipped childhood pal Holly Ramsay’s wedding – despite all of his family being in attendance to see the influencer marry Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty on December 27 at Bath Abbey.

The “Ant-Man and the Wasp” star kicked off 2026 by sharing an update about her concussion on Instagram. In a video posted Friday, Lilly said that “almost every area in [her] brain is functioning at a decreased capacity” since she “smashed [her] face open.”

“I’m entering into this new year, the Year of the Horse, with some bad news about my concussion,” the “Lost” alum said. “A lot of you asked how I’m doing. A lot of you have inquired about the brain scans that you heard I got. And the results came back from the scans and [showed] I do have brain damage from the [traumatic brain injury] and possibly other factors going on.”

Lilly, who played second-gen superhero Hope van Dyne in multiple installments of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, shared in a Substack post in May saying that she had “fainted at the beach” and “fell face first into a boulder.” She also said she has a history of blacking out and that doctors have been unable to determine why.

In the caption of the video update, the 46-year-old wrote that it is “comforting to know [her] cognitive decline isn’t just peri-menopause” but that it’s “discomforting to know what an uphill battle it will be to try to reverse the deficiencies.”

“Now my job is to get to the bottom of that with the doctors and then embark on the hard work of fixing it, which I don’t look forward to, because I feel like hard work is all I do,” Lilly said in the video. “I’m feeling extraordinarily grateful and blessed to be able to play one more day, one more year, on this beautiful living planet … Thank you all for caring.”

Lilly’s onscreen mom and “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” co-star Michelle Pfeiffer sent her support in the Instagram post’s comments.

“You are a warrior. Nothing-not even this will defeat you my friend,” Pfeiffer wrote. Actors David Dastmalchian and Alyssa Milano were also among the Instagram well-wishers.

Jesy has shared that her babies had to endure “months and months” of doctors appointments before finally getting diagnosed with SMA Type-1.

The twins, which Jesy shares with Zion Foster, were born two months premature in May 2025, following a difficult pregnancy that saw her diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), a rare but serious condition in which blood flows unevenly between identical twins sharing a placenta.

In her newest video, Jesy revealed that her mother, Janice, raised concerns after the twins didn’t show much movement in their legs.

While their initial concerns were chalked up to the twins being premature and therefore unlikely to hit milestones at the same pace as other children, Jesy and Zion pushed for more tests after they had trouble feeding.

According to Jesy, it took three to four months of appointments before they finally got a diagnosis, with the pair then being treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

“I feel like I’ve almost had to become a nurse in the space of two weeks,” Jesy added, explaining how she has had to put her daughters on breathing machines.

“The reason I wanted to make this video was because, the last few months has honestly been the most heartbreaking time of my life. I feel like my whole life has done a 360.

“I’m grieving a life I thought I was going to have with my children,” she emotionally said, before acknowledging that she is grateful to have them.

“I truly believe that my girls will defy all odds. And with the right help, they will fight this, and go on to do things that have never been done.”

“They probably will never regain their neck strength, so they will be disabled,” she revealed, adding it’s also unlikely they’ll ever be able to walk.

“So the best thing we can do right now is get them treatment and just hope for the best.”

Jesy then said that she wanted to make the video because if the disease is detected early enough in the first few months of a baby’s life “a lot of this stuff could be prevented”.

Shortly after Jesy shared the highly emotional video, her partner Zion Foster spoke out about their daughters’ diagnosis.

Taking to his Instagram page, Zion shared a photo of his daughters in what looked a stroller.

With tubes attached to their noses, the two tots could still be smiling widely.

Alongside the photo, Zion wrote: “Still smiling through all the challenges. Daddy loves you so much.”

Jesy welcomed twins Ocean Jade and Story Monroe prematurely at 31 weeks on May 15, 2025.

In a video she shared on Sunday, the former Little Mix star broke down as she described how the devastating diagnosis emerged.

The twins, she said, had now been diagnosed with a condition called SMA Type 1, or Werdnig-Hoffmann disease, the most severe form of Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

The lifelong disabling condition causes dramatic muscle weakness with severe breathing and swallowing issues and is commonly fatal without radical treatment.

Tearful Jesy said: “If it’s not treated in time, your baby’s life expectancy will not make it past the age of two.”

She later added: “When they assessed the girls at Great Ormond Street, we were told that they will probably never be able to walk.

“They probably will never regain their neck strength, so they will be disabled.

“So the best thing we can do right now is get them treatment and just hope for the best.”

Jesy then revealed that the girls, now seven and a half months old, have had their treatment, which she is “so grateful for, because if they don’t have it, they will die”.

Though Jesy was upset, she felt hopeful for the future.

“I truly believe that my girls will defy all odds. And with the right help, they will fight this, and go on to do things that have never been done,” she said.

The singer said that she wanted to make the video because if the disease is detected early enough in the first few months of a baby’s life “a lot of this stuff could be prevented”.

Jesy explained how the treatment is where the gene, that they don’t have, is put back in the body.

But Jesy affirmed how “there is no cure for SMA” but added how the treatment can help.

She then detailed some of the symptoms to look out for in babies, such as “floppiness” and not being able to hold their head up on their own.

“If any one is watching this video and they think they see these signs in their child, then please, please take your child to doctor, to the hospital, because time is of the essence.”

The account would go on to update followers on Bret’s health in recent months.

In October, he revealed he spent three days unconscious in the ICU due to the disease attacking his immune system.

His illness also forced Bret to step away from his graduate studies at the University of Central Florida.

The couple had only just moved into their new home in Orlando at the time.

A GoFundMe was launched for the Broadway star in August.

As of Saturday evening, the page has raised over $315,000 of its $350,000 fundraising goal.

One of the final posts on the fundraiser from December 12, stated how Bret had been in hospital since Thanksgiving.

A post from a friend read: “As many of you may have noticed, posts have been rather radio silent from both Bret and Stephen.

“These past few weeks have been some of the toughest that they have faced in this cancer journey. Bret has been in the hospital since just before Thanksgiving.”

But Bret was believed to have been improving health wise.

“As of today, Bret is looking and feeling better. His liver enzymes have plateaued, which is good, and he is back in the right direction with his oxygen,” the post continued.

He also directed an episode of the Emmy Award-winning Hulu series Only Murders in the Building in 2023, according to his IMDb page.

Bret is also known for his acting and producing work on Disney Royals, Disney Animazent Trio IRL, and In Rehearsal with… Stranger Things the Musical.

He and Stephen, who works at Walt Disney World, tied the knot in April 2011.

Love Triangle sees six singletons (the pickers) who text two potential lovers and then have to pick one for a blind date.

Viewers watch contestants meet for the first time after exchanging flirty texts, before moving in together and learning more about one another.

Some of the couples on the show were introduced to a third person (Sadie, in Danny’s case).

At the end of the series the picker has to choose who they want to be with out of the love triangle.

VIC Hope has shared a rare snap of her baby boy Micah as she and husband Calvin Harris shared their first Christmas as a family of three.

And addressing a graphic snap of her placenta, posted by hubby Calvin, she joked: “‘It was posted by my husband but placentas are amazing.

The placenta pic was included in a series of snaps he posted, as he announced the birth of his son on Instagram back in August.

The post, which included images of Vick in a birthing pool, had snaps of her placenta with capsules, suggesting they had it encapsulated – an increasingly popular trend.

He wrote in the caption: “20th of July our boy arrived. Micah is here!

“My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom! Just so grateful.

“We love you so much Micah.”

Vick previously posted a series of summer highlights on Instagram and looked radiant as she cradled the couple’s son at the couple’s sprawling Spanish residence.

Calvin bought the stunning 138-acre farm, known as Terra Masia, back in 2022, and the couple spent much of the summer there, with Vick even giving birth in the Ibiza property.

CAROL VORDERMAN has posed with her rarely-seen lookalike daughter and son and revealed one of them has a very impressive job.

THE former Countdown star, 65, is known for keeping her children out of the spotlight but in a rare instance, she decided to share snaps of herself with her children on social media.

She took to Instagram to post a series of snaps, with the first one showcasing the proud mum with her two children, Katie and Cameron.

In the picture, the trio look directly into the camera and smile from ear to ear as she wrote over it: “Me any my “babies”.”

In another photo, Carol smiled with Katie and in a third, the Pride of Britain Awards presenter took a selfie in a furry coat with a curly hairstyle.

Sharing her New Year’s post, she captioned it: “I rarely show pics of my children as you know, but I’m sitting here at the beginning of 2026 and thinking of the extreme joy to come this year, and just how bloody lucky I am because not only do we love the other but we really like each other too.”

Katie and Cameron are Carol’s children with former husband Patrick King, a professional cricketer whom she married in 1990 and divorced in 2000.

Her post comes after revealing she’s been suffering from a “chronically debilitating” illness.

She revealed the diagnosis while commenting on Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor’s Instagram post.

Carol wrote: “Morning Sally. I’ve done the same this year with a full body MRI and all clear thankfully.

“Having the special blood test for 70 cancers this week. Early detection where possible is now my mantra. The costs have come down dramatically for these services but they are sadly still a lot for most people.”

She then added: “I was struck with sudden and chronically debilitating rheumatoid arthritis almost a year ago and it’s taken a long time to get the meds right, so I no longer take my health for granted in any way xx

“Sending huge love and thanks 🙏🏼 to you for spreading the word and your honesty in all these matters. It helps no end of us mere mortals.”

SAM Thompson has dropped a huge hint he’s split with his new girlfriend in a cryptic Instagram message.

After months of dating, Sam announced at the beginning of December that he and Talitha had made things “official”.

CELEBRITY make-up artist and reality TV star Jasen Kaplan has died, as Kelly Osbourne grieves the loss of her “dear friend”.

The beloved entertainment industry heavyweight sadly passed away on Wednesday in a New York City hospital.

NYPD said they were investigating the death of a man at Kaplan’s apartment building.

The chief medical examiner is still yet to determine the cause of death.

Kaplan, 46, has been remembered by his long-time friend Kelly Osbourne.

“I’m devastated. I love you so much,” Osbourne, 41, wrote on Instagram.

“Thank you for all the love, laughter and joy you brought [to] my life. I hope you are at peace now.

“Life will never be the same without you! RIP my dear friend.”

Osbourne recalled her friend to be the funniest person she knew.

“You were the best wing man a girl could ask for. 25 years of friendship and every second was worth it,” she wrote.

Kaplan made a name for himself when he started working with Brittny and Lisa Gastineau on their 2005 show “Gastineau Girls.”

He went on to become the go-to makeup artist for many celebrities, including Cyndi Lauper, Eva Longoria and Lynda Carter.

He did The Real Housewives of New York City alum Tinsley Mortimer’s makeup for her wedding to Robert Bovard in 2023.

More recently, Kaplan had the chance to work with Bethenny Frankel on numerous campaigns with brands like MCoBeauty and Terez clothing.

He had a strong social media presence, with over 95.4K followers on Instagram, sharing makeup tips and his work wit celebrity clients and brands.

He was the “father” to his beloved dog Coco, understood to be the “love of his life” and featured heavily on his social media.

Kaplan was a contestant on “Finding Prince Charming” , a gay bachelor-style dating show which aired in 2016.

His bio for the show read: “He has a great sense of humor but isn’t afraid to say what’s on his mind. He’s bright, exuberant and completely comfortable with himself.

“Although he is a total flirt and loves dating apps, he’ll only take a relationship to the next level if he really feels like he’s in love.”

IT’S now the beginning of a fresh year, but last year was a tough one for Stormzy.

“These same events also robbed me of the wide-eyed innocence I once navigated the world with.

“Kinda like how you used to believe that Disneyland was powered by rainbows and fairy dust, and then one day you see a headless Mickey Mouse arguing on the phone and smoking a cigarette.

“This made me more resilient and put the final nail in the coffin of my desire to be understood – a part of me that, tbf, was already dying a slow death.”

The lengthy post continued on for eleven images in a carousel, detailing how Stormzy just wanted to get things “off [his]chest before [he] enters the New Year”.

He also shared how he is “eternally grateful” to the people in his life, whether they still work together or not.

He tied the statement off with the same words he scrawled at the start: “Ok, I’m ready.”

Stormzy opted to turn comments off on the simple text post, captioned with a repeat of “Ok, I’m ready.”

These same three words are the only ones in colour among the black and white statement, standing out in red.

It’s unclear exactly what “events” Stormzy is referring to when discussing the difficulty of 2025, but a couple of notable things happened to the star that did become public.

Back in March at the BRIT Awards, he took to the stage wearing a pair of sunglasses to scoop up an award for best British Hop Hop/Grime/Rap Act.

Clarifying to a confused audience why he was wearing shades inside the venue, he explained he had “bruised his cornea” during a game of padel.

“Sorry I’m wearing shade as well because I’ve mashed up my eye playing padel.

Then later on in the year in November, Stormzy shared a devastated post to Instagram sharing that the Rottweiler he owned with ex Maya Jama sadly passed away.

He said: “RIP my no.1 boy. Don’t have much to say, just gutted and heartbroken. I love you so so so much my boy.
