Watch MAFS couple’s disaster honeymoon row explode as groom snaps ‘you’re too much!’ over wife’s ‘annoying’ question

A MARRIED At First Sight honeymoon takes a disastrous turn tonight when a bride piles on the pressure days after her wedding.

Reiss and Leisha walked down the aisle on the E4 show last week.

A man in a white tank top sits on a boat with his head tilted back, eyes closed, enjoying the sun.

But the painter and decorator, and dental industry marketeer failed to click.

They got off to a bad start at the reception when Leisha pummelled him with questions about his life.

In a preview clip for tonight’s show, Leisha and Reiss fail to see eye-to-eye again as they discuss what the future holds for them.

During a boat trip, Leisha asks her husband: “Do you visualise me in your future?”

But her need for reassurance doesn’t go down well.

An annoyed Reiss throws an epic strop and responds: “I can’t cope! You’re too much.

“I don’t need pressure yet, it’s so early.

“I don’t like it. I know you’re saying you want to see the real me you aint going to find that out over night.

“You know I’m a closed book. If you’re constantly pressuring me you’re just going to keep me closed.”

Leisha replied: “It’s just the lack of questions, it makes me feel you don’t really care about me.

“I know you fancy me. Do you want to know are we going to have a future together.”

He replied: “You want to know do I want a wife, to have kids, to settle down. Yes, yes, yes.”

He then dealt the hammer blow, adding: “I don’t know if that’s what I want with you after knowing you three days.”

Speaking to the camera away from his wife, he later vented: “I can’t believe Leisha just ask me that, is she joking?! F hell.”

AWKWARD RECEPTION

After the pair exchanged their wedding rings and said their vows, the registrar declared: “Leisha and Reiss, it’s my huge pleasure to proudly announce you husband and wife.”

The new couple awkwardly leaned in for two kisses on the cheek before stepping back from one another.

Their guests looked on with confused looks on their faces as they clapped for the pair.

It wasn’t the only awkward moment on the E4 show, painter and decorator Reiss struggled as Leisha and her bridesmaid fired a series of questions at him.

During their wedding reception, Leisha asked her new husband: “What’s your exes been like?”

Reiss explained that his ex girlfriends have been “all different”, saying he focuses on a “connection”.

Leisha asked: “Do you get a lot of attention?,” to which he replied: “No, not really.”

Speaking to the camera away from her husband, Leisha said: “I’m so happy with how things are going with me and Reiss.

“It’s in my nature to ask these questions, so I’m just going to keep asking them and I truly want to get to know him to his core.”

Looking uncomfortable, Reiss was then quizzed by the bridesmaid, who asked: “So how many exes have you had?”

Reiss said he’s not one for dating apps and has been longing to be in a relationship.

He said: “Four exes, luckily I’ve never actually dated a psychos.”

They then asked if jealousy on his behalf had caused the relationships to end, which he insisted was not the case.

But the interrogation didn’t stop there. The bridesmaid then asked if he would like kids and Reiss replied: “100% yeah.”

This prompted Leisha to then press him on what he would call his child.

Reiss quickly replied: “Frankie,” which Leisha agreed was a good name.

Speaking in her confessional, Leisha said: “Him telling me he wants kids is a massive turn on for me, I’m ovulating.”

While Reiss felt very differently, saying the the camera: “It started off as a grilling, there’s a lot to take in.”

‘I worked for King Charles for 21 years and even crashed his honeymoon’

Jack Stooks spent 21 years working at the royal residence of Highgrove House and Gardens

King Charles III’s former gardener of 21 years has revealed what it was really like maintaining the landscape garden at the Royal residence.

Jack Stooks was responsible for Highgrove House and Gardens, one of King Charles and Queen Camilla’s most cherished homes in Gloucestershire.

Speaking on Friday’s This Morning, Jack not only provided gardening tips but also disclosed how he secured his position and recounted the occasion he gatecrashed King Charles’ honeymoon with Queen Camilla.

Jack told presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary: “I went on honeymoon with the King!” prompting Dermot, 52, to ask: “What’s that all about?” whilst Alison, 50, gasped: “You gatecrashed it?”

Clarifying what had occurred, Jack recalled: “After the wedding at Windsor, I got to do some cut flowers from the King’s garden, from the Queen’s garden and actually take them down to the wedding. They were actually used at their wedding!”, reports the Express.

“After the wedding, there were trees and things that came out of the chapel and I took those up to Scotland, to Birkhall, so I got to plant them with the King, which was amazing!”

Meanwhile, Jack disclosed how he landed his role, saying: “I wrote and asked for a job, there I was at Highgrove!” following an encounter with the King at his aunty and uncle’s residence where he “seemed nice”.

Noting he served as a gardener for 21 years, he continued: “I left last year! [That job] just from a simple letter!”

Jack previously shared with the Mirror about the King: “He was very much on the ball all the time. If he came home at the weekend, he would be out in the garden checking what’s been done, what hasn’t been done.”

The King, according to Jack, had a deep affection for his garden and would often make comments indicating his keen interest.

“He would be like, ‘This needs doing, that needs doing’,” Jack remembered. “So, it was really good to know that you’re working for somebody that actually took everything in.

“He was interested in the garden he knew what was going on. So, we all had the sense of satisfaction that we would get something right and know that it was actually being enjoyed and admired by the person who owns it.”

Stranded on Honeymoon Island bride reveals show led to life-changing health diagnosis

DAVINA McCall’s dating show has proven life-changing for one bride after it unlocked a hidden disorder.

Gorgeous Millie Thompson, 30, has been diagnosed with autism and ADHD after taking part on Stranded on Honeymoon Island having realised her OCD was so intense she considered smuggling in a pair of socks.

One of the DJ and model’s quirks was she cannot bear to be barefoot, so she thought about sewing a secret set into her wedding dress.

The BBC show sees singles marooned on a deserted beach in only their wedding attire.

Millie told The Sun: “Coming back from the show, I ended up getting tested for ADHD and autism and I found out I have both.

“I have learnt so much about myself, someone described it as being ‘neuro spicy’ and I love that for me.

“It’s lifechanging really.

“I always knew things like I couldn’t be without a pair of socks, I always have to be wearing a pair, but being on the show made everything clear.

“This sounds crazy but I was contemplating sewing some socks into the boob bit of my wedding dress, I was like ‘can I smuggle in some socks?!’ but then I was like, no they’ll be disgusting.

“Now I know that’s why I am how I am.

“I’ve changed so much from it but in such a good, positive way and everyone has noticed.”

Millie was so conscious of being without her comforts, she had her wedding dress custom made with the experience in mind.

She included a bodysuit she could wear like a onesie, and a skirt she could detach and use as a mosquito net.

Millie, from Cheshire, added: “I am such a girly girl, I was combing my hair extensions with a fork.

“But the experience makes you strip everything back and I thought I’d struggle because I’m so OCD but I actually coped really well.”

Viewers saw her struggle with the show’s dramatic jump into the sea that kicks off their stranded experience.

“With Love Island there’s other couples and you can escape, but there’s nothing like Stranded for this, you’ve just got each other.”

After meeting at the altar, the couples then take a boat out to their deserted beach and then plummet into the sea ahead of a swim to land.

But poor Millie can’t swim and she had to fit a life vest over her gorgeous wedding dress.

She said: “That was a massive thing for me because I literally will not get in the water, I can put my feet in but that’s it, so to have to do that was massive.”

But she reckons being out of her comfort zone kickstarted a connection with her groom Jordan in a way that could never happen on Love Island.

While she can’t give away what happens on her journey, Milile added: “You are on a beach with absolutely nothing, you are relying on each other for everything.

Stranded On Honeymoon Island couples has fans totally bewildered ‘Did we miss something?’

Stranded On Honeymoon Island returned to our screens tonight and BBC viewers were totally perplexed by one couple.

Stranded On Honeymoon Island were left scratching their heads as they questioned if they had “missed something” after one couple appeared to already be on the rocks.

The new BBC series, fronted by Davina McCall, follows a group of single people who end up speed dating and, after just five minutes, have to pick their favourite person.

Shortly after, the singletons are paired up by a matchmaker, marry one another and then are left stranded on an island and have to live with the basics.

Last night, the show kicked off with a speed dating event where the singles, following five minutes of chat, are asked to select their favourites. The final couplings are then settled on by professional matchmakers. Viewers saw Sam, 30, married Hannah, 29, Helen, 35, married Abby, 32, while Moray, 28, married Mae, 30.

Now that the first three couples have wed, during tonight’s episode it’s the turn of the remaining pairs to get hitched.

However it was newlyweds Helen and Abby who had everyone talking as they are already showing cracks in their marriage.

Waking up together for the first time on the Island it was clear that Abby is already struggling with her new life on the deserted island.

While making breakfast, Helen went on to say: “Yesterday was, like, such a little dream bubble. And then overnight, and today, it’s like OK, this is reality.”

The new bride admitted: “Abby is struggling with this and I think it’s getting her a bit grouchy, it’s getting her a bit moany but it’s day one. So I don’t know; I don’t know if she’s going to stick this out.”

Turning to her new wife, Helen asked: “Do you think that you would struggle, like in this experience? Did you think that… Because last night was a lot.”

Opening up, Abby admitted: “Yes, it’s hard. I think for me I’m missing my family and I’m missing my friends. I’m definitely learning more things about myself even just from last night’s experience.”

Helen jumped in: “I feel like that is you, right? So it did kind of shock me this morning when you were like, ‘Oh I don’t know, like if I can do this.’

“You’re making me feel like… like can you?”

Abby explained: “No, I do feel like I can. I think I just needed a minute.”

The tension was palpable as a frosty Helen replied: “Sure. But it’s day one so, let’s see.”

Attempted to shift the mood, Abby confirmed: “Yeah, it is day one. You’ve been great, it’s nothing on you. It’s just me.. You know.. adjusting.”

Helen said: “I want to be there for you and I will be.” Abby added: Yeah, I know. I appreciate that.”

It didn’t take long for fans to rush straight to social media to share their reaction as they questioned how their relationship had shifted in just one day.

One fan wrote on X, formally known as Twitter: “#StrandedOnHoneymoonIsland What went on last night then between the two women? Did we miss something? Sure they were happy on last night’s ep.”

Another commented: “She’s only been there a f****** day!” A third said: “She’s only been there a b****** day #StrandedOnHoneymoonIsland.”

Man on honeymoon in Florida struck by lightning on beach, dies

June 23 (UPI) — A 29-year-old Colorado man on his honeymoon died one day after being struck by lightning on a beach in Central Florida.

Jake A. Rosencranz was hit by lightning in New Smyrna Beach while standing in ankle-deep water around 12:30 p.m. Friday, the Daytona Beach News-Journal reported. First responders performed CPR on him and he was taken to a hospital in critical condition, where he died Saturday, Volusia County Beach Safety Director Tammy Malphurs told WKMG-TV.

“So sorry for the tragic loss of a young man here on a delayed honeymoon with his wife,” Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood said. “At 29 years old, he should have had many more anniversaries with her for years to come. Sending sincere condolences to this young woman on behalf of all of us in Volusia County who were hoping against hope that the diligent efforts of our lifeguards, EMS team and ER staff would bring him back to her.”

Earlier he posted on Facebook: “They were visiting our beaches to celebrate their marriage. In one terrifying second everything changed.”

The NSB Fire Department confirmed that two golfers were indirectly struck by lightning at the Venetian Bay Golf Course at around 12:18 p.m. They didn’t require emergency transport to a hospital.

This was Florida’s first lightning fatality of the year.

Malphurs said people are rarely struck by lightning in a storm several miles away.

“We see them, and a lot of times they move in really fast,” she said. “A lot of times they’re miles away and you’ll see a random bolt of lightning, which it happens. It’s rare in this instance, it happened like Friday.”

When lightning is nearby, she said you should seek shelter. If there are no buildings, get into a vehicle with a hard metal top and close the windows.

Beau Webster: Australia all-rounder on ‘honeymoon’ and World Test Championship final

Webster was developing into anything but a gimmick. Like a host of all-rounders, success in one discipline fed the other.

In the 2023-24 season, his 938 runs were by far the most in the Sheffield Shield, supplemented by 30 wickets. Only one other player in Shield history had managed 900 runs and 30 wickets in a single season: the greatest all-rounder of them all, Sir Garfield Sobers.

Webster was getting noticed, but from a recognition point of view, his timing was horrific. Australia have not historically been blessed with seam-bowling all-rounders, but were in a bountiful period with Cameron Green and Mitchell Marsh.

It took a back injury to Green and a dip in form by Marsh for Webster to get his chance in the fifth Test against India at the beginning of this year. His parents, Rod and Tina, were so caught off guard by his selection that they had to make a short-notice trip to Sydney and their plea for a house-sitter in Tasmania hit the headlines., external

With the series still alive, he top-scored with 57 out of 181 in the Australia first innings and followed up with an unbeaten 39, including the winning runs, in the second. He also took a wicket and two smart slip catches. In the two Tests that followed in Sri Lanka, Webster dusted down his off-spin to show his versatility.

Green is fit again, albeit only as a specialist batter. Webster is hoping there’s space in the Australian XI for both of them at Lord’s, then in the Caribbean and the Ashes.

“It breeds the best in me when I’m up against guys and competing,” he says. “I’d welcome the challenge. I can only keep scoring runs and taking wickets to keep my place in that XI, but no doubt it will only become harder and harder.”

The marriage to Maddie came after the Sri Lanka tour.

“Coincidentally with the seam-bowling stuff, Maddie came into my life at the same time as my career took off, so she’ll probably claim some credit,” says Webster.

“Everything that goes with being a professional cricketer – there are more bad days than good – she’s my biggest fan.

“I’m sure we’ll do something for a honeymoon. We’ll find a window at some point in the next few months.”

Webster has already ticked off an Australia debut and a wedding. Now there is a World Test Championship final to win and an Ashes urn to retain.

“That would be the perfect 12 months.”

Every passenger on our honeymoon flight wrote us their top marriage tips – we’ll cherish these heartwarming ones forever

WHEN a flight attendant came across a couple on the way to their wedding, she decided the whole flight should help them celebrate.

And rather than the typical trinkets, this thoughtful crew member decided fellow passengers should give the gift of their best advice.

The unnamed air-hostess asked all the fellow travellers to scribble down their most valuable tip for a successful marriage – and delivered the results to the betrothed pair.

Kirsten and Sam, the happy recipients, shared the heart-warming experience – and the lessons they learned – on TikTok, to the delight of hundreds of thousands.

Kirsten, a pediatric oncologist nurse, said: “The sweet flight attendant helped us ask people for marriage advice.

The pearls of wisdom arrived scrawled on airline napkins, note pads and small scraps of paper – anything passengers could find.

Here are some of the best among them.

A pair of high school sweethearts married 40 years wrote: “Our advice is: Never give up [because] nothing is perfect, don’t sweat the small stuff, never stop communicating, and never go to bed mad.”

Another couple advised: “Keep God at the center of your marriage and have fun together.

“Don’t forget to be best friends [and] laugh at the little things.

“Stick together through the hard times [and] good times will eventually come again.”

Offering a philosophical note, someone wrote: “Unspoken expectations are premeditated resentments.

“Be nice, communicate wants and needs.”

Lovers of 43 years suggested: ““Be quick to forgive and say, ‘I’m sorry,’” which was a remarkably similar sentiment to the decades-together couple.

A long and thoughtful message said: “Always respond to your partner’s bids for attention.

“If they say the sunset is pretty, drop everything and enjoy it together.

“If they ask if they look nice, truly take a moment to take them all in and give them a compliment.

“If they give you a quick hug, hold them longer. These small moments matter for intimacy.”

Kirsten and Sam tied the knot on May 22 in Phoenix, Arizona.

She said the wholesome life advice would serve as a foundation for their relationship, and they were “cherish these forever”.
