Major girl group reunion ‘confirmed’ after member’s cryptic comeback comment

THE Pussycat Dolls have seemingly “confirmed” their reunion by signing with a new talent agent.

The news comes despite feuds and legal battles in the band, formed of Nicole Scherzinger,  Kimberly Wyatt, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Carmit Bachar and Melody Thornton.

CAA music division head Rob Light  and Paul Franklin – a specialist in reunion tours – are now set to manage the band in a telling move.

While Nicole teased the reunion this week by talking about “what’s to come” for the band.

Sharing a clip from their hit song Buttons, Nicole wrote: “From then to now… seeing this video hit 1 billion views on YouTube fills my heart with so much gratitude.

“For the PCD fans. For the memories. For what’s to come.”

Last month, The Sun revealed that the band were “in talks” for a reunion, with the idea spearheaded by Kimberly.

At the time, a source said: “Kimberly has been open about the fact the girls have sorted out their issues.

“She also told pals they’ve been discussing a tour.

“The Pussycat Dolls certainly had their differences over the years, but a comeback would send fans wild.”

The Dolls started off as a burlesque troupe but in 2003 Nicole , Melody and Kaya joined Carmit, Ashley , Jessica and Kimberly to form the group.

They split in 2010.

This is not the first time a reunion has been on the cards, with multiple members of the band reuniting in 2019 before planning a 2020 tour, which was halted due to Covid-19.

It was later cancelled due to the pandemic and legal issues.

Nicole had a bitter row with the band’s founder, Robin Antin, 60, who sued singer for “extortion”.

Robin claimed that Nicole was refusing to take part in the tour unless she received a larger share of the group’s joint firm.

She allegedly demanded her 49 per cent holding in the firm is increased to 75 per cent, giving her creative control of the group and “final decision-making authority”.

According to the lawsuit filed by Robin, Nicole said the “growth of her personal brand” and the “opportunities she would have to forego to engage in the partnership” was why she deserved an increased share.

However, in a fiery retaliation, former X Factor judge Nicole issued a statement through her lawyer, Howard King, in which she branded Robin’s claims as “ludicrous and false”.

Melody wasn’t involved in the last planned reunion after clashing with Nicole over singing the band’s lead vocals.

Pete Davidson, Elsie Hewitt welcome a baby girl: ‘Perfect’

Pete Davidson has officially entered fatherhood, welcoming his first child with British model-actor Elsie Hewitt.

The former “Saturday Night Live” comedian, 32, and his girlfriend, 29, are new parents to a baby girl, Hewitt announced Thursday. “Our perfect angel girl arrived 12/12/2025,” the model captioned her Instagram post.

Hewitt shared scenes from Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson’s arrival, including their first family selfie, images from the labor room and snaps of her own post-push sushi meal. In her caption, Hewitt described her daughter as “my best work yet.”

“I am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief,” she added.

Davidson apparently had other words to herald the arrival of his first child: “Wu tang forever.”

The pair welcomed their first child after less than a year of dating. Davidson (whose dating history notably includes high-profile relationships with Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande) was first romantically linked to Hewitt (who previously dated Jason Sudeikis and Benny Blanco) in March when they were seen kissing in Palm Beach, Fla. Two months after making their relationship red carpet official, the couple announced in July they were expecting a little one.

“welp now everyone knows we had sex,” Hewitt captioned her casual pregnancy announcement.

In addition to recovering from labor, Hewitt revealed that she is simultaneously bouncing back from another procedure. In an Instagram story posted Thursday, Hewitt shared a selfie of herself in a pink hoodie with an ice pack around her cheeks as she held onto her daughter’s car seat.

“Who else had to get a wisdom tooth removed directly from the hospital the day after they gave birth,” she captioned the photo.

He allegedly attacked the girl in West Sussex between June 2016 and October 2016 when he was married to Katie, 47.

She is not a member of his or Katie’s extended family.

Hayler appeared at Lewes Crown Court today where he pleaded not guilty to the four alleged offences.

The ex-stripper, who was charged in October following a probe by Sussex Police, was bailed to next appear at the same court in April.

His Honour Judge Stephen Mooney set a provisional trial set to last one week for next October.

A representative for Hayler previously said: “Kieran Hayler strongly denies the allegations made against him in its entirety.

“Mr Hayler is fully engaged and has been co-operating with the police throughout the investigation and will continue to do so.

“He looks forward to his name being cleared believing in the judicial system to do so.”

Hayler, who has worked as a stripper and actor, married Katie at a luxury resort in the Bahamas in 2013.

He was her third husband following her marriages to singer Peter Andre and cage fighter Alex Reid.

Katie and Hayler split in 2018 following cheating allegations on his side and formally divorced in 2021.

He got engaged to Michelle Penticost but the pair separated in February this year.

Sussex Police said: “We can confirm Kieran Hayler, 38, of Northchapel in West Sussex, has been charged with three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault against a 13-year-old girl.

“The offences are alleged to have occurred at an address in West Sussex between June 1 and October 13, 2016.

“Hayler remains released under investigation and is due to appear before Crawley magistrates’ court on November 19.

“The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has received support from specially trained officers as our enquiries continue.”

A post-mortem found the preliminary cause of Aria’s death was a single stab wound

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of a nine-year-old girl.

Police have named the victim as Aria Thorpe, who was found dead at a house in Lime Close, Weston-super-Mare, on Monday evening.

A post-mortem examination found the preliminary cause of her death was a single stab wound, Avon and Somerset Police said.

The teenage suspect, who cannot be named due to his age, remains in custody and is due to appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court later.

Bunches of brightly flowers line a street corner, around a low brick wall. Some of the bunches of flowers have handwritten notes on them, and there are also several stuffed toys. On the wall are several dandles, including a candle holder shaped like a snowman.

Floral tributes to Aria have been left close to the scene of the incident

Supt Jen Appleford said it was “impossible to adequately describe how traumatic the past 36 hours have been” for Aria’s family.

“The tragic loss of such a young girl has caused a huge amount of shock and upset, with there being a profound sense of loss felt throughout the community,” she added.

She said police officers were working with schools across the area to make sure those affected were being supported, adding: “We are grateful to local residents for the patience shown while we have been carrying out enquiries in the area.”

A police cordon has been in place around Lime Close since Monday, with forensics teams working at the scene as officers carry out house-to-house inquiries.

Neighbours said they feel “shocked” and “horrified” by what has happened, as the usually quiet residential area has been taken over by emergency services.

Supt Appleford said work gathering evidence would continue in the coming days.

The town’s MP, Dan Aldridge, described Aria’s death as an “utterly heartbreaking tragedy for the family and her loved ones”.

“This is a moment that will understandably shock and sadden us all, and I know many in our town will be grieving, anxious, and seeking answers,” he said, adding that there was no indication of any wider threat to the public.

‘Must watch’ period drama dubbed ‘Gossip Girl meets Downton Abbey’ now on Netflix

The ITV period drama boasts an impressive 87% rating on Rotten Tomatoes

A period drama boasting a recognisable face from Outlander has landed on Netflix, with viewers insisting it’s a must watch.

Victoria originally premiered on ITV in 2016 and spanned three series before concluding in 2019. Crafted by bestselling author and screenwriter Daisy Goodwin, the show stars former Doctor Who actress Jenna Coleman in the title role of Queen Victoria.

Coleman, who audiences will recall as Clara Oswald from the time-travelling series, appears alongside fellow Doctor Who alum Tommy Knight, plus Tom Hughes (About Time), Adrian Schiller (Tolkien), and Jordan Waller (The Gilded Age).

The series follows the 19th-century monarch’s rule, spanning from her ascension to the British throne aged merely 18 through to her union with Prince Albert (portrayed by Hughes).

The ensemble also includes Outlander star Nell Hudson, known for playing Laoghaire MacKenzie, who takes on the part of Queen Victoria’s lady’s maid, Nancy Skerrett, reports the Daily Record.

Hudson was utterly charmed by her fellow performers and sang their praises enthusiastically. In a chat with Town and Country, she revealed: “I made such good friends on Victoria, and luckily I’ve forced them all to stay friends with me, and I make them all hang out with me a couple of times a month. [laughs]”.

“I really couldn’t have been around a better bunch of people. It was such a privilege, going to set everyday and hanging out with a bunch of brilliant people, who were also so talented.”

It seems the cast’s behind-the-scenes camaraderie translated brilliantly on screen, as audiences found themselves utterly captivated.

One fan took to IMDb, sharing their emotional journey: “This has been the most amazing series since Downton Abbey I have watched. I laughed, I cried, I got angry. I felt every emotion humanly possible through watching it.

“My mother and I binge watched it together and couldn’t believe how much it draws you in from beginning to end.”

Someone else raved: “The settings, costumes, and general production values were first rate, the show felt incredibly plush and lavish, I shudder to think of the budget for this series. Totally engaging, this was first rate viewing 9/10.”

A third fan added: “If you love period drama and English history, you will be enthralled by Victoria. I wish there were more shows like this on television. A definite must for fans of this genre.”

Victoria, with its impressive 87% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, continues to garner praise. Another fan noted: “This production seems to strive for a cross between Gossip Girl and Downton Abbey, and is thus an amusing trifle.”

Michelle Kwan welcomes a baby sister for eldest girl Kalista

Michelle Kwan’s favorite early Christmas present this year? It’s a little girl, gift-wrapped in a hospital blanket and ready to meet Santa.

The Olympian and former ambassador to Belize just welcomed her second child, Della Rose Kwan, according to a Thursday post on social media.

“My heart doubled in an instant the moment I held her in my arms, and watching my daughter walk into the hospital to meet her baby sister brought tears to my eyes,” the Torrance native wrote on Instagram, captioning a photo of her holding baby Della in the hospital, then talking about her first child, who was born in early 2021.

“I’ve always dreamt of having children, and when Kalista came into the world, I was already beyond grateful for a miracle that once felt impossible after years of trying.”

The 45-year-old is a five-time world champion, nine-time U.S. champion and two-time Olympic medalist, winning a silver and a bronze for figure skating in the 1998 and 2002 Winter Games, respectively. She was an ambassador from 2022 to 2025, during the Biden administration.

Kwan posted additional pictures showing herself and Kalista eating ice cream on the couch in matching Christmas pajamas when mom was still pregnant, an ornament on the Christmas tree holding a photo of the family of three and a short time-lapse video of herself in a black bodysuit showing her midsection growing until she finally holds baby Della in her arms.

Writing that “[g]etting here again has been its own rollercoaster,” she thanked all those who helped “this miracle” to happen. Included in her appreciation was “my love, who I’m so lucky to share my life with,” though she didn’t share that person’s identity.

Kwan was married to attorney and politician Clay Pell from 2013 to 2017.

“After more than a decade of hoping, I still can’t quite believe this moment is real,” she wrote.

“As an Olympian, I’ve pushed my body to its limits and been amazed by its strength — but carrying another life has left me in even greater awe. There were moments of frustration over how little I could control — a humbling reminder that fertility is something none of us can fully predict.”

Kwan then offered well wishes to anyone else dealing with infertility or praying to have children.

“I know what you’re going through,” she said, “and I’m hoping you feel loved and supported in every way as you navigate this journey.”

The tone of the missive is par for the course for Kwan, who explained her approach to life during her competitive years to The Times in early 2020.

“You hope that you made an impression and an imprint, a positive impact on people,” she said at the time, talking about her skating career. “I kind of expressed the journey that I was on, whether it was a good journey or an emotional journey or a sad one, I was never afraid to emote. I feel like the people who partook in that journey experienced a lot of emotional moments during those 20 years with me, and looking back, I was a part of their lives.”

Looks like she’s starting on yet another new journey now.
