TOWIE star Harry Derbidge’s ex-boyfriend has been left heartbroken by the tragic death of his fiancé.

Dean Rowland, 41, announced partner Steven Hewitt’s passing on Facebook today with a selfie of the couple and a devastating statement.

He wrote: “The world didn’t deserve you, the best of the best, you’ll forever be my one true love, I love you so much [broken heart emoji] I can’t believe I’ve got to go on without you.”

One follower wrote: “So sorry to hear this, thinking of you.”

Another said: “Dean I’m so sorry my heart is completely broken for you and all Steven’s family and friends [heartbreak emoji] sending you all of our love xxx.”

Just days ago, Dean reflected on a 2025 packed with fun, laughter and love.

He wrote: “This year gave me memories I will never forget and people I am endlessly grateful for.”

Dean thanked Steven for being “my constant, my calm and my chaos all in one, thank you for being my home wherever we are.”

And he signed off the positive post, writing: “If 2025 taught me anything it’s that life moves fast, moments matter and the right people make everything better. Here’s to growth, love, laughter and whatever comes next.”

The couple, who had been together for four years, got engaged this time last year at the five-star Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland.

In October Dean revealed they were on the hunt for the perfect wedding venue and were finishing off home renovations.

Last January he shared special videos and pictures from the engagement, writing: “I said YES! Completely overwhelmed and filled with joy.

“Stephen surprised me with the most beautiful proposal, and I couldn’t be happier to start this next chapter with the love of my life.

“Here’s to forever and a lifetime of love, laughter, and adventures together.”

Dean was previously engaged to Towie star Harry but they split two years later in 2021.

It came after the former couple were forced to put their adoption plans on hold.

They also cancelled their wedding twice in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Harry said on Towie: “To be with someone for four years… and for it to not work out, it has just been the most heartbreaking like awful thing I’ve had to go through.

“I gave so much to this relationship, I gave everything to it!

“To the point where I’d give so much… that it would actually cause an argument.”

At the time, Dean reflected on their four years together and said they remained amicable and good friends.

He wrote: “After 4 long amazing years, Harry and I have decided to part ways. It’s with a really heavy heart and absolute anxiety that I’m sharing this with you all.

“There are no secret nor salacious events at the root of decision- just two best friends realising it’s time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives possible.

“I would trust him with anything and he still remains that important person in my life.”

He continued: “No relationship is easy, and we all know this, but with my hand on my heart, I can say the last 4 years have been the most amazing memories I could have ever asked for in a human being.

“We have laughed, cried and drunk a lot of wine, and after all of this, I still have the utmost respect for Harry and his decisions going forward.

“Not only was Harry a lifelong partner for me, but he also was my best friend I did everything with, and although I’ve lost the connection on that level he’s still my best friend and someone I trust with my life.”

KELSEY Parker has revealed plans to try for a baby in 2026 after suffering a heartbreaking stillbirth. 

The 35-year-old was left devastated in June when her son Phoenix – her first child with partner Will Lindsay – died just a week before his due date.

Despite being put through every parent’s worst nightmare, Kelsey, who also shares Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four, with late husband Tom Parker, has insisted she plans to add to her family this year. 

Speaking on her Mum’s The Word podcast, which she co-hosts with Georgia Jones, she said: “I just want a better year, it was really really tough, it was s***. 

“I think to continue the path of, ‘is there a baby this year for me’, I could have one this year, which is exciting.

“Also [continuing to] raise awareness and keep doing my charity work.”

The Wanted singer Tom passed away aged 33 in 2022 from a rare, aggressive brain tumour.

Heartbroken Kelsey told her followers in June how Phoenix had been “born sleeping”. 

She added: “Before I receive an influx of lovely messages and heartfelt well wishes, I want to just say that I truly appreciate everything you are all going to say and share.

“But with the news being so raw, I would really like to ensure that we as a family are given space and time to process this devastating and earth-shattering news.

“I love you all and thank you for your understanding and space.”

Following her husband’s tragic death, the family have remained dedicated to raising funds for brain tumour research in Tom‘s honour with an annual charity football match in his memory.

Kelsey went public with her new relationship in September last year, saying she knew her late husband would “send the right man for her“.

Just before Christmas Kelsey paid tribute to her stillborn baby by adding a touching addition to late husband Tom’s memorial.

Kelsey said Tom is “looking after the child she lost in heaven” as she added a plaque to his park bench.

The plaque read: “Phoenix Parker-Lindsay..I walk towards my destiny with ease.”

RYAN Thomas has admitted he almost dumped fiancé Lucy Mecklenburgh after “self sabotaging” during the early stages of their relationship.

The pair are engaged and share two children now but the former Coronation Street star has revealed it all nearly didn’t happen.

The two first met on The Island with Bear Grylls before coming back to the UK and going on proper dates.

Lucy added: “On our first date yeah,” as Ryan jumped in: “But wait wait we’d been on an island for a month.”

Scott interjected: “No no wait but how did it… this is cringing me out.”

Lucy continued: “Well we’ve known each other for like two months, we’d been on the island for a month together.”

“Did you not say ‘Are we official?’, Scott asked as Ryan said: “I would never say that I’m old school.”

Former TOWIE star Lucy then dropped: “It gets worse. He later on told me he was meeting me, because I was working in Manchester, meeting me to say “No, no I’m not interested.’

Ryan interrupted to say: ‘I was just a bit like… ugh I dunno I just found it a bit unattractive that someone actually liked me and once I got them I was like “No it’s not for me.”‘

“Then when I went to meet her…”, he added, as Lucy said: “It’s mad isn’t it.”

Clarifying what he was intending to do, Scott exclaimed: “So you were going to break it off and then you saw her.”

Ryan divulged: “And she looked incredible. And she was like super cool and we had this kiss in the car, yeah in Adam’s car.

“I don’t know why you had your shoes off… but your foot were on the dashboard. And I went ‘Yeah I’m in.’”

The couple got engaged back in June 2019 while on holiday in Italy together.

They welcomed son Roman into the world in March 2020 before having daughter Lilah Rae two years later.

Ryan is also dad to singer and Waterloo Road star, Scarlett Thomas, who he shares with ex Tina O’Brien.

The Celebrity Big Brother star previously opened up about Lucy walking out on him during a big date night.

Speaking on the podcast, he expressed: “We got to the hotel, lovely room, went for dinner in this beautiful new restaurant overlooking the whole of Manchester.

‘It just slowly, I just started to feel it bubbling.

“And every time a conversation come up, it was a debate, right, rather than conversation it was like, you just felt the energy was all off.

“I thought she’s gone to the toilet, 10 minutes has passed, 15 minutes has passed, half an hour passed!

“And I was still sat there. So I text her and said ‘long toilet break’.

“I rang her, and it went boom down, I rang her again, and it went down, and then I was like okay, so she’s not coming back.”
