Love Island alums Tommy and Molly-Mae looked relaxed as the trio arrived at a park.

Molly-Mae wore a pair of black trousers, which were accompanied by an oversized grey jumper.

As for Tommy, he opted for tracksuit bottoms, a long-sleeved black top along with a black gilet.

He could be seen playfully holding Bambi and also carrying her, as she looked into the distance.

Elsewhere, Molly-Mae, 26, marked series two of her Prime Video series Behind It All being released.

It comes as she recently revealed why she’s refusing to put her £600k engagement ring back on – despite reuniting with Tommy.

The couple originally split over cheating allegations last summer, but ultimately got back together officially in May.

Speaking in series two episode one, the fashion designer explained that she wanted some kind of gesture from Tommy before wearing the ring again.

She said: “I’m not putting my ring back on yet just because I don’t feel quite ready.

“And also because I would kinda quite like for him to make a kind of a gesture.

“Not ask me again. That’s a lot but just a nice dinner or something.

“Just to like have that moment of ok, I’ll wear my ring again.”

Following this, Molly-Mae added the two were back together, although still living apart.

Meanwhile, Tommy has denied the cheating allegations but revealed that alcohol played a major part in their split last summer.

Tommy spoke about his lowest points in an interview and revealed he feared his drinking would see him end up in a ditch.

He said: “The turnaround point was in December I thought ‘I can’t do this anymore, I cannot do it’.

“I was like ‘something needs to change’ or else I’m going to end up in a ditch because that was the way I was going.

Hidden Assets : Politics: Quadriplegic Assemblyman Tom Bordonaro does not consider himself an advocate for the disabled. Even so, he is making changes.

Not long ago, California’s pharmacists came to town and hosted a get-acquainted reception for legislators. The fete was held at Frank Fat’s restaurant, a venerable haunt of choice for the capital’s power elite.

Like other freshmen legislators, Assemblyman Tom Bordonaro was eager to attend. There was just one problem: He could not get into the party. Literally.

Bordonaro, 36, is a quadriplegic who uses a wheelchair. Frank Fat’s banquet room is up a flight of stairs; hence, Bordonaro was out of luck.

What is most intriguing about this story is Bordonaro’s reaction. Instead of pitching a fit, the assemblyman adopted a no-big-deal approach: “It’s unfortunate,” he mused recently, “but eventually they’ll get the message and change their ways.”

Elected in November, Bordonaro is the first quadriplegic to serve in the California Legislature–and only the second member in a wheelchair. As a result, he now commands a powerful pulpit from which to trumpet–and perhaps remedy–the troubles of California’s 2.4 million disabled residents. That, however, is not his style.

Indeed, Bordonaro opposed the Americans With Disabilities Act–the landmark federal law banning discrimination against the disabled–and he considers many regulations protecting the disabled too burdensome for business. Progress, he believes, can best be won through public awareness and persuasion–with a carrot, not a stick.

“To the dismay of many folks, I’m just not a huge disabled advocate,” said Bordonaro, a conservative Republican from San Luis Obispo County. “Sure I’ll help on some things, but I was elected to serve my district. That’s my priority and that’s what I’m going to do.”

Given his lukewarm interest in their cause, some disabled activists lament Bordonaro’s election.

Others, however, are more upbeat. “He may not see himself as an advocate, but he is–just by being here,” said Kathleen Barrett, who works for the California Assn. of Persons With Handicaps.

A garrulous man with a self-deprecating wit, Bordonaro has spent half his life in a wheelchair after a car accident when he was 18.

Until last year, Bordonaro was content to help manage his family’s alfalfa and cattle ranching business in Paso Robles.

But when the assemblywoman in his district announced that she was leaving, friends persuaded Bordonaro to run. The political rookie beat six opponents in the GOP primary, then drubbed his Democratic rival.

His disability never came up in the campaign, but he suspects that it may have been an asset: “I think my opponents were afraid to attack me. Who’s gonna beat up on the poor guy in the wheelchair?”

It is unlikely that that will hold true in the Assembly. So far, Bordonaro has kept a low profile. But one of his bills–rescinding conjugal visits for certain state prisoners–is likely to stir a fuss. And another–requiring public disclosure of the names of juveniles arrested for certain crimes–drew fire this week.

Although Bordonaro may hesitate to introduce legislation on behalf of the disabled, he has made a phone call or two.

This year, the DMV issued disabled people new license plates bearing a large, glow-in-the-dark wheelchair logo. Many disabled drivers worried that the highly visible logo told criminals they were vulnerable. The assemblyman intervened, ensuring that those who prefer a less obtrusive plate may get one.

Bordonaro has made a mark in another way as well. Before his arrival in Sacramento, numerous changes were made to the Capitol, leaving it far more accessible to those with disabilities–as mandated by federal law.

Popular airline slammed as staff told two disabled women ‘we forgot about you’

Southwest Airlines is being criticised for failing to communicate changes to its five-hour delayed flight as two disabled women were left behind as the flight took off without them

An airline has been slammed after two women who are both blind were left behind by a plane and told by staff “we forgot about you.”

Southwest Airlines is being criticised for failing to communicate changes to its five-hour delayed flight from New Orleans to Orlando on July 24.

Friends Camille Tate and Sherri Brun were left stranded after the pair were at the airport waiting by the gate, checking the airline’s app for any updates.

However, they were the only two people on the flight when they boarded. “You’re the only two people on this flight because they forgot about you,” Sherri Bun said the two were told.

According to the airline, because the flight was delayed, nearly all of the passengers on the original flight were re-booked on another Southwest flight to Orlando that departed a little earlier from a different gate. It comes after a furious tourist was just ‘offered £21 by easyJet’ after being stranded in Turkey.

Sherri and Camillie were the only two passengers not re-booked on the flight. They even admitted they had no idea another flight was an option.

“Nobody at B6 told us anything. Nobody came to get us at B4. The time passed,” said Sherri. “That airplane took off, and our boarding pass had not been swiped,” said Camille.

The pair remains stunned that they weren’t on the flight. They want the airline to improve its communication to people with disabilities.

“The way they help their customers that require additional assistance needs to change. There needs to be follow through,” said Sherri.

“There needs to be some improvement in how they communicate with their passengers especially those that have disabilities,” Camille added.

The friends were offered an £80 voucher as compensation for the delay, but weren’t eligible for a full refund as the flight departed.

Southwest Airlines has since apologised for the embarrassing incident. It said: “The Customers were scheduled on Flight 2637. Although it ran almost five hours late that day, it remained their same flight number throughout.

“We issued the $100 vouchers as compensation for the delayed travel, but a refund is not available if a Customer actually completes the flight.

“It appears the confusion about a plane coming back to get them might be because many of the Customers on that flight were accommodated on another MCO-bound flight that left a little earlier from a nearby gate. These two Customers were not re-booked on that flight, so their assigned gate never changed. Our records show they flew to MCO on the airplane that had been parked at their original gate.

“As far as accessibility policies, all of our information is found on the Disability-Related Accommodations section of the Help Center. For Customers who are blind, escort and navigation assistance is available from the airport curb to and from gates and between gates for connecting flights.

“To receive assistance, Customers must identify themselves and the type of assistance they require to a Southwest Employee when they arrive at the airport, at any connection points, and when they land at their destination. In the event of a gate change, our Employees are responsible for ensuring all Customers who need assistance reach the new gate.

“We apologise for the inconvenience. Southwest is always looking for ways to improve our Customers’ travel experiences, and we’re active in the airline industry in sharing best practices about how to best accommodate Passengers with disabilities.”
