The New York-born actor has starred in a number of hit shows, including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Bones, and most recently SEAL Team. But where is he now?

David Boreanaz was a little-known actor when his life changed forever in 1997. The star had only appeared in a handful of small film roles and in a single 1993 episode of Married… with Children before landing the role of reluctant vampire Angel in the hit series Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

He instantly became a breakout star, and a household name when his character was given a spin-off series, Angel, which aired for five seasons from 1999 to 2004. But where is the New York-born star now and what has he been up to? We take a closer look at David’s life both on and off the screen.

Acting gigs and health fears

David’s most recent high-profile acting job was starring in SEAL Team, an American military drama television series that follows an elite unit of United States Navy SEALs.

He starred as Master Chief Special Warfare Operator Jason Hayes a.k.a. Bravo 1/1B, the leader of the team, to much acclaim. The seventh and final season of the show premiered in August 2024.

Speaking about the physical toll it took on his body – and explaining why the season would be his last – David, 56, told People: “My body just can’t do it anymore!”

He added: “You learn from the SEALs how to push through pain — I’m talking guys who have had their arm blown off and are cracking jokes because that’s how they deal with it. It’s very intense.

“I take good care of myself, but it gets to a point where your body’s not moving like it used to… I think I’ve had four MRIs in the past four months, for my knees, hips, shoulders. It’s been quite a journey.”

Family life

David has been married to former Playboy model Jaime Bergman since November 2001 and together they share two children – son Jaden, 23, and daughter Bella, 15. Prior to finding love with Jaime, he was married to Ingrid Quinn from 1997 to 1999.

In May this year, David shared a post in celebration of Jaden’s birthday, sharing a series of photos and writing in part: “Happy Birthday son. You shine to the stars and reach for the moon in ways that light up rooms with love and laughter. You are my everything and my world. I love you…”

Scandals

In 2010, David admitted to having an affair with Rachel Uchitel, the same woman with whom Tiger Woods allegedly cheated on his wife with. At the time, his wife Jaime was reportedly pregnant with their second child.

In her statement to Access, Rachel said of their affair: “First of all I want to make it clear that he pursued me. Second, the authentic texts which I have reveal that David Boreanaz repeatedly expressed his deep love and affection towards me.

“Third, I broke off the relationship because I no longer respected or trusted him. Finally, I am deeply hurt and offended that anyone would think that I wanted to break up his family. Nothing could be further from the truth.”

Speaking in October 2011, David told TV Week: “In a sacred ground like marriage, you find yourself out of it at certain times for reasons unknown that can be destructive. There could be a demon that kind of comes out and overtakes you.

“Do I believe in giving up? No, I don’t. I’m a fighter. I’m a lover,” he said. While Jaime said at the time of his confession that she was ‘angry’, the pair decided to work on their marriage.

It’s not the only storm the couple have weathered. In 2010, a co-worker on the set of Bones sued David for alleged sexual harassment, claiming he repeatedly attempted to kiss and fondle her.

David’s spokeswoman at the time called the allegations “fabricated and absurd”. In March 2011, The co-worker then dismissed the lawsuit against David, according to court records. She wrote in an email that it had been “resolved” but did not offer further details.

Future plans

David has hinted at some exciting future endeavours, telling People after SEAL Team ended: “I have plans. My work ethic is always head on a swivel, be in the now, don’t look back, don’t look far down the pipeline.”

Acknowledging at the time that he was ready for a break after starring in back-to-back series for nearly 30 years, he admitted he’s not good at sitting still.

“Vacations are good until, like, the second day, and then I’m bouncing my knees thinking about what we’re going to do next,” he said.

“My mind is always actively going. Work to me is relaxation, it fulfills me.” Work, he said, and spending time with his kids. “That’s it.”

Content cannot be displayed without consent

Certainly, David seems to be embracing his role as a proud father. Speaking last summer, he told the publication: “I just helped my son move out of his apartment in New York. It was a test of patience!

“My son did most of the packing and setting it up for the new tenant while I helped from the outside, but it was a tornado. Parenting is such a journey. It never ends, and it never gets easier!”

The Bones alum continued: “He went to NYU, but he decided to take a break from it during the last year. He’s an artist and a musician so he’s staying true to his soul… you have to go with the beat of your heart.”

As for daughter Bella: “My daughter is an excellent equestrian. She’s a loving adventurous soul. Both of my kids are doing their own thing. I’m very protective of them, but everyone’s great. My son is a singer, an artist, and a musician, my daughter is in high school. Everyone is good.”

Myleene Klass’s ex husband hits back after cheating claim and says he’s banned from seeing his daughters

MYLEENE Klass’ former husband has hit back at the popstar and broadcaster and claimed he’s been banned from seeing his kids.

It comes after the Hear’say hitmaker, 47, candidly opened up on her former husband Graham Quinn’s alleged “cheating” with a fellow celebrity.

During a recent episode of Paul Carrick Brunson‘s We Need To Talk podcast, Myleene told how she walked in on her then partner, 51, and another woman unzipping each other’s clothes at her birthday party.

The Pure and Simple hitmaker — who wouldn’t divulge the female’s name but said she built her career off a “family brand” — revealed: “I walked in on him with a famous person on my birthday on a balcony. It was in my house.”

Now Graham, with whom she shares two daughters, has clapped back.

Pals of the music manager have suggested she is a “vindictive bully.”

A source told MailOnline: “He thinks she’s a bully.

“They believe it was especially ‘vindictive and calculated’ of Myleene to launch the bombshell broadside on what she would have known was the week of Graham’s 51st birthday.”

The Saturdays hitmaker Rochelle Humes recently posted a snap showing Graham on their family holiday to Ibiza.

PARENTING CLASH

As the cheat claims swirl, Graham’s comments about his parenting with MBE winner Myleene – who scooped her accolade services to women’s health – for have resurfaced.

In lines contained in a historic chat with Fathers4Justice, which have only recently resurfaced, the security manager said Myleene had “actively denied” him access to his two kids.

He suggested he was “banging his head against a brick wall” in his attempts for access.

In the piece Graham, who is based in Ibiza, wrote: “I haven’t seen my kids in years.

“The only exception is when Myleene begrudgingly met me in a car park off the North Circular Road in 2014.

“She lowered the window about three inches and I could see the girls in the back. That was it.

“I’ve thrown so much more money at it [trying to see his daughters] and I can’t afford much more.

“I’ve spent £20,000 and am probably further away from them now than I’ve ever been.

“It’s like banging my head against a brick wall.

“I’ve missed so many birthdays and Christmas days. I’ll never get that back.”

Graham, who married Myleene in 2011 and was with the star until their split in 2013, also opened up on the impact on his mental health.

He told how he was depressed “for years” and sought counselling daily.

In his piece, he added: “I’ve tried to get Myleene to see the light, but she’s not interested.

“She knows how much I love those girls and that it’s destroying me, but she doesn’t care – she’s got them all to herself and loves it.

“I don’t even know where they live any more. I can’t see them and I can’t speak to them on the phone. I’m blocked on Twitter and Instagram, so can’t see photos of them.”

Myleene’s rep had no comment when approached.

CHEAT CLAIMS

Graham and Myleene met when he worked as a security guard for Myleene’s pop group.

They had what was described as a “private, intimate” wedding in Norwich where just 16 family and friends were invited.

In the recent podcast, Myleene recently opened up on the infidelity claims.

She explained of Graham and the unnamed famous face: “It was my party.

“They weren’t having sex, but they were unzipping each other.

“[They said] ‘It’s not what you think’, but it is what I think. It’s the first thing they both said.”

Talking of her reaction she told MAFS expert Paul: “I kicked everybody out of the party, including his mum and dad. They went back to Ireland.

“And his dad said, ‘He doesn’t get it from me’. I was like, ‘OK’. I just remember that being quite a weird thing to say.”

Myleene admitted she struggled to see the woman continuing as normal after the run-in, explaining: “I’ve made peace with that situation now.

“But for a long time, it was very difficult to see their life . . . Not that I would wish that on a family. I don’t know, I feel conflicted.

“But my life literally just broke apart very, very publicly.

“And their life, they’ve managed to continue building a family brand on it and it felt so difficult for a long time. This is the person I caught him with.”

Netflix enthusiasts will recognise a familiar face in the latest Trainwreck documentary series.

The anthology of Netflix’s Trainwreck revisits some of the most terrifying and peculiar incidents that once ruled mainstream media. The series and films, from their viewpoint, delve into everything from disastrous festivals and political scandals to and horrific cruises and reality TV catastrophes.

Today’s episode (July 22) was the Trainwreck P. I. Moms, which takes viewers back to 2010 and a reality TV show about a private investigation agency run by soccer mums. Commissioned by Lifetime Networks, the mums were a group of mothers who trained as private investigators for Chris Butler and it was set to air on TV.

The group investigated everything from exposing unfaithful husbands to insurance scams. However, the show never made it to air, reports the Mirror US.

In the documentary, cast and crew reveal the reality TV show and how Chris Butler was subsequently arrested on multiple felony charges.

At the conclusion of Trainwreck, it states: “On May 4 2012, Chris Butler pleaded guilty to selling drugs, extortion, robbery, and planting illegal wiretaps. He was sentenced to eight years in prison.”

According to Netflix’s Tudum: “In 2010, Lifetime commissions a reality TV series about a private investigation agency staffed by soccer moms. Everyone is convinced they have the next big hit on their hands, until the production crew starts to notice something is off.

“The moms’ investigations keep falling apart, leading to allegations of sabotage. At the same time, a mysterious informant accuses the agency’s boss of running an illegal drug operation on the side, abetted by a corrupt cop. For both the TV series and the criminals dealing drugs, it is only a matter of time before things fall disastrously apart.”

Viewers will recognise a familiar face in the latest episode of Trainwreck. Actor Carl Marino, who was alleged to have “ruined” the show before it had the chance to get off the ground, makes an appearance.

But where might viewers have seen Carl Marino before?

Carl Marino portrayed a young Joe Kenda on Homicide Hunter. Homicide Hunter follows Lt Joe Kenda who spent 23 years in the police department where he caught criminals and solved hundreds of homicide investigations – and he shares his memories on the show.

However, fans will likely recognise Carl Marino from the Trainwreck documentary. One fan expressed their surprise on Reddit, saying: “I’m shocked and disappointed in Joe Kenda.”
