The 19th-century townhouse only went on sale yesterday – two days after Lily, 40, released her breakup album which has been branded her “revenge” album by fans.
David had even made a shock “cheating” joke while doing a tour of their New York City home two years prior.
Lily and David bought the property under two separate trusts as co-owners, according to documents seen by The U.S. Sun, and made several renovations worth thousands.
Lying at the heart of Brooklyn and spread across four levels, the house has five bedrooms and four bathrooms interspersed throughout.
The property listing eloquently describes the home as a “layered narrative of traditional English charm, modern Brooklyn sensibilities and rich Italian influence”.
The main level opens out into an exotic living room wrapped in high-end Zuber wallpaper and “detailed crown mouldings”.
With a fireplace at its centre, the room is framed by glass doors that lead to a private backyard with a sauna and cold plunge at the owner’s disposal.
The kitchen is described as spacious with “plain English cabinetry” and houses a huge island as well as a custom-built banquette beneath is windows with natural light flooding the room.
Walk upstairs and you’ll find another sitting area with a fireplace as well as dual walk-in closets alongside the main bedroom.
There are two well-equipped guest bedrooms on the third floor as well as a skylit lounge and a home office.
There’s an additional guest suite on the garden level too with a powder room and casual living room, another fireplace and access to the backyard.
And a fully-furnished basement see’s a gym, ample storage and closet areas as well as a laundry room.
The pair took out a big mortgage on the house which they first purchased on November 16 2020 for $3.35 million.
The loan is listed for $2,512,500 with City National Bank in 2021, and they had until February 1, 2051 to pay it back.
They made extensive renovation on the property filing several building permits, many for tens of thousands, with the most expensive being for $282,600 and $265,600 for general construction.
Lily had moved to New York to start a new life with the US actor, who she wed in 2020 a year after meeting oncelebritydatingappRaya.
But five years later, one local resident said: “It appears no one has been home for quite some time”
“Every house on the street has Halloween decorations, but not Lily and David’s”
“It’s a very family-friendly neighbourhood, Lily was very active in the community when she lived here with David.”
The Smile singer has now moved back to London with her two daughters from her first marriage.

The father of four, nicknamed Goldenballs in his playing days, has planted hundreds of trees, put up 27 bee hives and created a lake with duck house and wooden jetty.
In a special edition of Country Life, he tells how he keeps chickens and has a vegetable plot, where he tends onions, radishes, carrots and kale.
East London-born David tells how he counts fellow converts Vinnie Jones and Guy Ritchie among his country friends.
But he recalls: “My earliest memories of doing anything in the countryside are when I was a Cub, then a Scout, and we used to go camping in Epping Forest.”
His kitchen fitter dad Ted and hairdresser mum Sandra did not have much time for gardening — though grandad Joe would tend to the roses, often damaged by the young David kicking a ball about.
The 50-year-old former Manchester United and Real Madrid star’s interest in country pursuits grew after meeting Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels director Guy, 57.
The ex-England skipper even made a cameo appearance in Ritchie’s 2017 flop King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword.
David says about Guy: “He’s a modern-day caveman, who has made me fall far deeper in love with the countryside and helped me to understand it even more than I did before.
“Sometimes, we sit for hours around a fire, just the two of us, and talk late into the night.”
Ritchie’s sweeping 1,100-acre estate Ashcombe House in Wiltshire is the inspiration for what David is trying to achieve.
And it was during late nights at the homely Georgian property that Becks got to know footballer-turned-actor Vinnie, who has appeared in a number of the director’s projects.
Guest editing 128-year-old Country Life, David admits: “When I was playing, he was one of those footballers you did not want to go near on the pitch.
“He would either grab you, throw you or kick you!
Sometimes, we sit for hours around a fire, just the two of us, and talk late into the night
David Beckham
“Back then, that was his thing and he made a successful career before becoming a pundit, when he did criticise me.
“I didn’t think he liked me. But when I met him later at Guy’s place, we didn’t stop talking.”
‘Solace in the country’
Former Wimbledon hardman Vinnie, 60, has a 147-acre farm in Petworth, West Sussex.
David adds: “He bought me a walking stick he’d made for me and he’s now a great friend, who, like me, has found solace in the country later in life.”
The three stars are now happiest in tweeds and welly boots, a world away from the glamorous lifestyles which made them famous.
Vinnie used to booze too much but tells how he prefers a teetotal life.
He comments: “You’ve got to commit. Do it on a Monday.
“Everyone who has done it says, ‘I wish I’d done it before’.
“You never hear anyone regret giving up booze.”

For the main article in the magazine — marking its 1,000th edition with a 288-page gold embossed issue — David, his tattooed hands poking from his cuffs, gives TV gardening expert Alan Titchmarsh a tour of the family estate
He and fashion designer wife Victoria, 51, bought the farm near Great Tew, in Oxfordshire, for £6million in 2016. It is now estimated to be worth twice that sum.
They have turned a 26-acre plot with one maple tree and a few derelict barns into a landscape of wildflower meadows, native trees and shrubland that form a home for insects and birds.
Proud David reveals: “I can still remember the morning when Victoria and the children were all due to arrive to see the refurbished barns for the first time.
The moment she walked in, she burst out crying
David Beckham
“It was still a complete mess. One of the guys, who was helping with the building work, and I were literally running around laying the rugs, sweeping up and getting all the dust out.
“Then I waited at the front door with a glass of wine for Victoria to arrive.
“And, the moment she walked in, she burst out crying because she couldn’t believe how perfect it was.”
Now the couple often serve their home-grown ingredients in meals served for friends and family.
And in the magazine, David gives the Queen’s son, Tom Parker Bowles, a taste of his culinary skills.
David, originally from Leytonstone, tells Tom: “There’s something so nostalgic about mashed potato, liver, bacon and lots of gravy.

“It’s one of those British comfort classics that my mum used to make for me and was also my grandad’s favourite dish.
“My gran was also a great cook, and it was always a treat going down to the pie and mash shop in Chapel Market.
“If I had to choose my last meal, it would be pie, mash, liquor and jellied eels.”
Previous guest editors of the Country Life have included King Charles, and the most featured face on the cover in the past was the late Queen Mother.
In his cover shot, David looks every bit the rural gent, leaning on a ram’s horn cane and dressed in a tweed jacket.
BRITAIN’S smallest castle, a charming 19th century Gothic turret in the heart of Hertfordshire, has gone up for sale.
The Gazebo Tower is a glorious Grade II listed landmark which dates back to 1833 and is packed with royal-looking features inside its 645sqft of living space.

Described as a “local icon”, this three-storey tower in Ross-on-Wye looks out over the River Wye and the Hertfordshire countryside.
Inside, each of its circular rooms – roughly 16ft across – has been transformed into a kitchen, a bedroom and a living room.
It also comes with a picturesque roof-top terrace, described as offering 360-degree views of the Black Mountains of Southeast Wales, the spire of Saint Mary’s Church, Chase Wood and Ross-on-Wye’s vibrant architecture.
It’s currently available to buy for £330,000.
Estate agents Hamilton Stiller described it “an opportunity to own a landmark and one of Ross-on-Wye’s most striking features.”
One of the most whimsical touches to the property is how the double bed hides a bath underneath – making the most of the space.
The top floor also includes an en-suite wet room and a spiral staircase leading to a battery-operated roof hatch.
Athletes from the Ross Rowing Club can even often be seen sailing down the River Wye from the windows.
The quintessential market town of Ledbury is only 13 miles away, while trains to London Paddington take two hours.
This tower, once owned by Herefordshire Council, was sold in 2001 when its only floor was accessible by ladder.
Inside Cheryl’s six-bedroom £4million mega-mansion she shared with ex-husband as it goes on sale
Tony Billingham, who won the bid by post, lovingly restored the tower into a cozy, functional home and later opened it to visitors, donating proceeds to local charities.
This isn’t the only house that has caught widespread attention recently.
Photos of the property reveal that one of its two bathrooms has been transformed into a home office – giving workers the chance to “do their business” without ever leaving the room.
Baffled house hunters have branded the interior “bonkers”, with photos revealing a quirky layout and eccentric design choices that are anything but ordinary.
Listed for £235,000 in February, the home was purchased by a couple in July after making several visits over the summer.
Nicknamed “the Dolls House” by locals, the petite property is cleverly built in an alleyway between two neighbouring homes and offers breathtaking views of the coast.

NOTHING brings the country together like football.
But there are some people who have more than a little insight into the game and the hype surrounding it – the WAGs.

Belinda Coleman was also once one of them, having a front row seat to all the money, the pleasures – and pitfalls – of life as a Premier League wife.
She was the spouse of the Welsh football coach Chris Coleman – but in 2011, their 19-year relationship came to a bitter end following cheating accusations.
The divorce ended in Chris, now 55, giving Belinda just two months to leave the two bedroom flat she shared with their four kids, Sonny, Christy, Faraday and Georgie – all whilst he planned his marriage to blonde TV presenter Charlotte Jackson.
Belinda previously lifted the lid on how their dream marriage turned into a nightmare – and how his flings led to their split after 19 years together.
Belinda then said. “He’s an adulterer and I just became bored of his indiscretions.
“His affairs were into double figures. And I’d even confronted three or four of the women. I never ranted at them. I just told them they weren’t the first and they wouldn’t be the last.
“And I told him if he wanted to be with them, he should just walk out and leave us alone to get on with our lives.”
Now, over a decade later, Belinda has revealed what life is like when your millionaire marriage ends, the money disappears, and you go from the A-list lifestyle to having the bailiffs at your door.
By 1991, when she met Chris, then a player with Crystal Palace, Belinda owned a flat of her own and was managing a hotel health club.
“I’d been invited to a match by a player who’d come to the health club for physiotherapy. The first time I spoke to Chris in the lounge after the match it was so natural. I had no idea this man would change my life forever,” Belinda told The Telegraph.
Husband given £325k of wife’s £60m fortune in divorce WINS bid to get more cash
Just six months later the pair tied the knot – and according to Belinda, it felt like a fairy tale.
As Chris’ career began to climb, they went from a two-bedroom rental to purchasing a small house before Chris moved to Blackburn – ”and suddenly, there was so much money”, Belinda said.
There were luxurious holidays, shopping sprees galore and private school education for their four kids.
“I decorated our lovely home in the country, called the Old Stables, with all the top-of-the-range equipment I could find.”
But with so much money coming in, there was no planning for their financial future – something Belinda looks back at now and cringes at how ”financially irresponsible” the two were.
Meet the WAGS of the England footballers
England Wags range from childhood sweethearts to recently blossoming love stories.
The fitness instructor has been married to the England captain since 2019 and joined him in Germany with their four children after he joined Bayern Munich.
“I couldn’t be sensible about it because I couldn’t bear to think about it. There was a lot of guilt at having money when people I loved didn’t, so spending it as quickly as I could on myself and others seemed to make sense.”
Of course, there was also the pressure to look the part, which came with a hefty price tag – the scrutiny of Premier League wives and girlfriends was intense.
There were amazing times together, she explained – the fun of supporting their men at their games, the lavish getaways abroad, the luxurious parties and the fun of watching their children grow together.
But the lifestyle also came with lots of troubles to share, such as woman ”falling over” their husbands, which ”took a huge psychological and emotional toll” on Belinda.
As rumours of Chris’s infidelity became louder, with headlines everywhere, the trust between the couple crumbled.
While Belinda was trying her best to pretend everything was okay for the sake of her children, it was just a mask – and in reality, she was losing her mind.
It eventually led the mother-of-four to do things that she wasn’t proud of, including hiring a private detective and hiding a tracker in Chris’s car – something, she now thinks, created ”suffering”.
As for why the separation and then divorce meant swapping a millionaire pad for a two-bed flat, Belinda is frank.
“Despite once having millions, the money had run out. It was my fault too, of course, but suddenly I was facing financial ruin.”
Bailiffs knocking on door
But the worst was yet to come.
One day, Belinda, now 60, heard loud banging at the door – it was two men who turned out to be bailiffs.
Paralysed with fear, she didn’t dare to move, and when the two finally left, she collapsed.
Following their visit, Belinda’s car was repossessed, and then an eviction notice arrived.
Eventually managing to find a private rental she could just about afford, this was the first of 11 forced moves in ten years for Belinda and the children, Sonny, now 32, Christy 30, Faraday, 27, and Georgie, 25.
While she did eventually receive spousal and child maintenance, the money was nothing compared to her previous lavish lifestyle and Belinda felt as if she ”was depriving the children of the life they’d become accustomed to”.
On one occasion, she remembers, her card was declined at the supermarket checkout, despite calculating everything in the trolley to the penny.
Now raising four kids as a single mum, Belinda took whatever jobs she could fit around their schedule, working nights, weekends and 12-hour shifts.
“I packed boxes for a removal company, worked in a call centre and cleaned. One day in 2016, a year after our divorce was finalised, I drove through the wrought-iron gates of the Old Stables. I was there to clean the house we’d once owned.
Standing in the beautiful home, the memories of the happy times came flooding back and Belinda realised just how much her life had changed.
But she refused to feel sorry for herself. Instead, she appreciated being alive and having four wonderful kids, friends and family who loved her.
Then in 2019, during yet another forced house move, she was packing a book – and things in her life were about to change.
The sentence read: ”Sometimes the universe is just waiting for you to say yes.’’
For Belinda, it was a sign – a sign that if she truly wanted something different in her life, she needed to do something different.
This was the start of Belinda’s journey with manifestation, journaling, meditating, visualisation and expressing gratitude daily that turned her life around – as did winning a legal case.
On a whim one day, the mum-of-four wrote herself a cheque for the amount she believed was achievable from an ongoing legal dispute, placing it beside her bed and acknowledging it every day.
In the end, she ended up winning that case against the odds, and the money meant she could finally achieve the dream of owning her very own home.
”The house I bought was listed for exactly the amount I’d written on the cheque.”
Now a qualified motivational coach and NLP (neuro-linguistic processing therapy) practitioner, Belinda has written a book about her journey.
Wag to Warrior, Every Woman’s Roadmap to Overcoming Life’s Challenges and Rewriting Her Story is a book that Belinda hopes will help other women who are struggling, including other WAGs.

Cheryl has now put the huge house on the market for a cool £4M.
It was previously listed in 2017 for £5M, but has since dropped in price.
The Fight For This Love singer’s impressive property comes complete with six bedrooms, a swimming pool and a cinema.
The stunning 8,500 sq ft home also has a bar, wine cellar, huge living room and sprawling garden.
The star pad has a brick exterior and includes a round wing known as The Kiln.
The house actually featured on Channel 4‘s Britain’s Most Expensive Houses
On the show, estate agent Jeremy Fine said of the property: “It’s actually one of my favourite homes I’ve ever dealt with. It’s been super popular with a huge amount of big names, footballers, A-list celebrities.
“Cheryl Cole was living here at the height of her fame and it was an incredible hideaway for her because this house is so tucked away.” Let’s take a look inside…
Cheryl lived at the home with Frenchman Jean for the brief time they were married, and it was built not long before they moved in, in 2015.
The former couple met during Cannes Film Festival in 2014 before tying the knot in a private ceremony on the Caribbean island of Mustique in July of the same year.

The band have been closer than ever after rallying around one another following Sarah Harding‘s tragic passing in 2022.
As well as supporting each other privately, they came together for a huge reunion tour in 2024 which went on to become the UK’s biggest arena tour of the decade so far.

The Edwardian building features in Netflix’s high school comedy drama, Sex Education, which first aired in 2019.
It features prominently throughout the series and fans may have recognised it as the home of high schooler Otis Milburn and his mum Jean, played by Gillian Anderson.
The Scandinavian inspired property has room for 10 people and is located near the Forest of Dean with cycle trails and a river nearby for canoeing and fishing.
Fans will recognise certain rooms in the house from many of the scenes between Otis and Jean.
Built in 1912, it was initially used as a fishing lodge and also featured in Extraordinary Escapes on Channel 4.
With five bedrooms over three floors, the property has breathtaking panoramic views of the valley.
And the main bedroom can be found at the top of the house, spanning the entire floor.
As you approach the Norwegian-inspired home, you are immediately struck by it’s distinctive exterior.
It’s comprised of red wooden slats and white detailing amidst the expansive greenery on the slopes overlooking the River Wye.
It has a winding drive lined with trees leading up to a garage.

Viewers had the chance to own it in 2023 where it hit the market for an eye-watering £1.5 million.

It was done in such a way that it blends effortlessly into the rest of the house.
Move outside and you’ll notice it’s beautiful gardens where there are steps that lead straight down to the river.
It also has a decked balcony where a Swedish hot back and stone pizza oven can be used as you take in the spectacular views.
The property’s 4.5 acres of land includes two greenhouses, a stone and tile outbuilding and an orchard.
It’s currently a private residence but fans used to be able to rent the whole house for £75 per person a night – but you can still admire its beauty from afar.

The family home in Brislington, Bristol, has a bewildering bathroom and kitchen setup that will leave prospective buyers thinking again.
The open-plan utility room may seem perfectly normal at first glance but look a little closer and you’ll find an unwelcome addition.
A surprise toilet can be found alongside the room’s typical kitchen appliances and items – and it’s the butt of jokes online.
The room is home to a washing machine, a fridge-freezer, a sink and even a coffee machine laid out on a cabinet.
But despite food and drink being stored there, there is nothing to separate the toilet from the rest of the room.
The room has been described as the “utility/downstairs WC”.
Listing images were shared on social media, where viewers were left “flabbergasted” by the arrangement, as reported by Luxury Property News.
One person commented: “I get that’s a utility room but… Imagine having your fridge in a windowless room where someone just had a rough time on the throne.
“Or your washing. Either settle for one toilet or put a small cubicle in.”
“This new trend of open plan s***ters has to stop,” another joked.

Someone else wrote: “That’s got to be breaking some health and safety regulations surely?”
“Oh that’s grim, and right next to a kettle and stuff. Imagine how many airborne poop particles are in that fridge and cooking area,” commented another viewer.
Thankfully, the rest of the terraced home looks perfectly ordinary.
It has three bedrooms, a spacious lounge, a dining room, kitchen which opens out onto the back garden and a fully family bathroom upstairs.
And you’ll be pleased to know that there are no other surprise lavatories throughout.
It is currently on the market for £400,000 with Moving You.
It’s not the only property on the market that has some unwelcome additions either.
The Sun recently reported on a perfectly normal looking house that’s hit the market for £435,000 – but it’s hiding a sci-fi surprise inside.

The family had spent their time living in a £3.7million pad – dubbedSheeranville– which boasts a gym and pool, as well as a tree house and even a separate bungalow.
Yet Ed, 34, has said: “I’m just about to move to America.
“I feel like I might be the only person moving to America.
“I’m going on tour there for a while and I have a family so I can’t dip in and out.
“We’re going and settling there.”
Giving a glimpse into his home life on Instagram previously, he uploaded one showing him in a cosy-looking living area complete with a telescope for stargazing.
It also captured a huge library which was the perfect space for Ed and his song writing partners to pen his smash hits.
Land Registry records show that Ed bought his main home — a detached farmhouse and surrounding land — for £895,000 in June 2012
Despite the move, the Afterglow hitmaker has understandably retained his home but he also revealed he has built a second private boozer at his studio.

He said: “People always look at stuff like that in my lifestyle and think it’s a bit weird, but I think to go out and really let loose with camera phones round, you can’t really do that any more – as in like if you’re well-known.
“So it’s having a place where you can have a few pints, a dance, a sing, get a bit silly and not worry about it being on TikTok the next morning.”
OWN GOAL
Ed then admitted he will no longer be able to watch his beloved Ipswich Town, where he owns a 1.4 per cent stake and was their shirt sponsor.
Chatting just before they lost on penalties at Bromley in the Carabao cup four weeks ago, he said the match was going to be the only game he’d be seeing this season before settling in the US.
He said: “I went to almost every game last season – I think I can only make one this season because I’m moving to the States.”
ALL CHANGE
The Shape of You singer previously expressed a desire to move into country music and potentially relocate to the US.
He said earlier this year: “When you transition to country, you can’t transition back.
“Nashville is my favourite city in the States and it’s always been my end goal to move to Nashville and transition to country.”
However, he did not reveal in his more recent interview just before planning to fly out whether it was Nashville where he was now setting up home.

Now Helen has been forced to reduce the price again for a second time after just fourth months of being on the market.
Helen first put the £1.5million six-bedroom family home up for sale in May, before reducing it to £1.195million just four weeks later.
Now, the detached, 5,000sq ft home can be snapped up for a cheeky £995,000.
The former couple, who have three children together, bought the property at Belmont, near Bolton, in June 2021 for £840,000.
It has five reception rooms, six bathrooms and six bedrooms including two en-suites.
The house is situated on the edge of moors and is said to have “breathtaking views”.
The actress will play the evil stepmother in Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs at Liverpool‘s M&S Bank Arena in December.
The stunning star donned a sequinned red and black dress, with black feathered sleeves, and wore a gold and red diamante tiara on her head.
She also held aloft a red apple, symbolic of the poisonous apple so relevant to the Snow White storyline.
A source previously told The Sun: “Helen is excited for panto season and can’t wait to get into character, she’s a brilliant actress and knows how to put on a show.
“She’ll also be pocketing a pretty penny, celebrities and soap stars make good money doing panto and always look forward to it as some extra income.”
Helen, shares daughters Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, as well as four-year-old son Charlie, with her ex Scott Sinclair.
However, the ex-Coronation Street star also recently told The Sun that she was spending Christmas without her children this year, as she and former Chelsea footballer Scott, who most recently played for Bristol Rovers, live so far apart.

NOTHING screams luxury like a top-notch yacht, so it’s no wonder Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has been hosting Max Verstappen on his boat in a bid to woo the popular driver away from Red Bull.
The Formula One World Champion, 27, has been spotted sunning himself topless on the vessel just off the coast of Sardinia.

In photos that emerged last week, he was seen enjoying the heat as he laughed with Toto, 53, who was dressed all in white.
The luxurious yacht, named Mangusta 165, is believed to have cost the racing boss £20million and spends most of the time moored in Monaco when not in use.
F1 is currently on its summer break, with the next race not until August 31 in Zandvoort.
Max’s break with the Mercedes boss has refuelled rumours that he might move to the team when his contract with Red Bull is up.
The four-time world champion told RacingNews365: “I’m in the middle. Maybe it’ll be good, maybe it’ll be bad – we’ll see.
“I’m very open-minded, honestly. I don’t even think about it too much – I’m just enjoying the moment.
“When I sit in the car next year, we’ll figure it out. I’m not making the rules anyway.”
Toto has owned his yacht, which is 50m in length and has a top speed of 25 knots, since 2023.
It boasts five bedrooms and can host 12 guests, who can also enjoy use of the jet skis and a hot tub.
The Mercedes boss isn’t the only F1 star to own a fancy yacht. Here we look at battle of the boats.

He might have spent the beginning of his summer break on Toto’s yacht, but the F1 driver has his own boat – which has been described as a ‘Bond villain’s weekend getaway’.
It can hold up to 12 guests alongside five crew, meaning Max and partner Kelly Piquet have ample space for entertaining as well as room for their daughter, Lily, born in May.
It has an open deck to the rear which is fitted with white couches and is thought to have an area to store a speed boat.
He also has a large stateroom inside, but little else is known about the pricey vessel’s interior.
Max moored the yacht in Monaco this year when he was competing in the principality’s Grand Prix but he hasn’t posted photos since its purchase earlier this year.

British F1 ace George, 27, is the latest driver to join the yacht owner’s club with his Pershing 6X.
He splashed out £2.2million on the luxurious vessel following his success on the track.
The boat might be smaller than grid rival Max’s, but it’s not tiny either.
It has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a kitchen and a spacious upper deck living area.
And he’s been showing the yacht off on his social media with girlfriend Carmen Mundt, 26, and a host of friends on board.
They also have a stash of pricey water toys and the racer has posted videos of him and others on a hydrofoil skimming across the sea.
Like rival Max, George is also spending his summer break from the circuit on the boat off the coast of Sardinia.

Spanish driver Fernando, 44, has owned a Sunreef Power Eco 60 since 2023 after signing an order for it back in 2021.
Each yacht from the brand is a bespoke creation for the buyer.
The 18.3m long vessel is solar-powered, giving the boat eco-friendly credentials that most yachts don’t have.
“I think [Sunreef] is the only company that takes sustainability to a very serious level,” said Alonso during an interview with BOAT International.
“To have a fully electric catamaran powered by solar panels made perfect sense to me.”
The solar panels cover 68.6m squared across the yacht, including the roof and hull sides.
It’s equipped with two 360kw electric motors and a set of 990kwh batteries which are solar powered – making the yacht essentially silent when moving.
One of the smaller yachts owned by an F1 star, it can accommodate up to six guests and four crew.
But, for Fernando, size doesn’t matter.
Alonso said: “On board, all that matters is peace of mind, fresh air, and good company. Yachting should not be about ego.
“For me, it’s about sharing good moments and being respectful towards the environment.”

Billionaire Lawrence, 65, has splashed some of his enormous fortune on a 262-foot long floating mansion for a cool £184.5million.
The Aston Martin F1 team owner downsized from his original yacht, Faith, to Project 714 in March – and has now also renamed it Faith.
The upper decks, enclosed in glass, contain a swimming pool, a games deck and a helicopter landing pad with a hangar below, according to Luxury Launches.
Inside, there are seven guest cabins which can hold up to 14 people as well as space for 20 crew members.
It’s thought the large vessel, which has a top speed of 17knots, has annual running costs of up to £20million.
Lawrence’s previous boat could host up to 18 people across nine cabins and had a crew of 34.
It also boasted a private cinema, nine-meter swimming pool plus a spa and plunge pool.
He sold it to business tycoon Michael Latifi when he decided to downsize to a slightly smaller vessel.

British driver Lewis, 40, is also a member of the F1 yacht club with Sunseeker 90, which he is thought to have bought in 2009 for around £2.9million.
And when he’s not feeling like being on his own boat, he charters other vessels that boast a bigger range of rooms and activities.
Sunseeker 90 is 91.9feet and can sleep up to eight guests. It boasts a top speed of 30 knots meaning it’s a speedy boat.
The yacht is normally moored in Monaco, where Lewis resides during the off season.
It features American walnut carpentry, air-conditioning, a huge kitchen and an entertainment area with a shower where guests can rinse off after a dip in the sea.
He was seen entertaining model Bella Hadid, 28, on a yacht back in 2017, but it’s not clear if he used his own boat or rented one for entertaining.
Lewis has also been spotted entertaining pals over the years, including former teammate Nico Rosberg and his own family.

Ferrari driver Charles, 27, appears to be a big fan of spending time on both his yachts – because who would have one when you could have two?
He owns a Riva 66 Ribelle named Sedici, which is Italian for sixteen – his race number – and a Riva Dolceriva open cruiser.
Sedici is a 20m sports yacht that can reach speeds of up to 37 knots and has three cabins inside.
He brought it to the Monaco Grand Prix this year, like many of his fellow drivers.
It seems to be his favourite of the two boats, as he often shares snaps from holidays on it, many with it in the background while he swims.
His second vessel is named Monza after the world-famous racing circuit – and is a speedy boat.
Charles paid approximately £1.5million for it back in 2020 and reportedly bought it to commemorate winning the Grand Prix at Monza the year before.
It’s 48ft long and can accommodate up to four guests across two cabins.
The lower deck has an L-shaped sofa with a coffee table in the centre. The master cabin has a huge king-sized bed as well as an ensuite.
A SUSPECT has been arrested after American Idol music supervisor Robin Kaye and her husband were found dead in their home.
Robin and husband Thomas DeLuca, both 70, were found dead with gunshot wounds to their heads in their Los Angeles mansion on Monday, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to The U.S. Sun.

Now, police have arrested suspect Raymond Boodarian, 22, although the nature of his arrest is not yet clear.
Family members had called for a welfare check for the couple on Monday, July 14, after they hadn’t been heard from in four days, police said.
When cops arrived at their home in L.A.’s swanky Encino neighborhood, they found blood at the front entrance of the house, TMZ first reported.
Officers smashed a window to get inside, where they discovered the couple’s bodies.

They were both declared dead at the scene at around 2:30 pm.
Footage obtained by ABC affiliateKABCshowed the home’s sliding glass door was shattered.
Neighbor Hannah Massachi, a local realtor, told The U.S. Sun locals are “very shaken” and desperate for answers.
“They were a lovely couple, I saw them a few months ago,” she said, adding, “Why would somebody do this?”
“I’ve lived here for over 30 years. Everyone is proud to live in Encino and all the celebrities are here, all the movie stars. I’ve sold many homes here,” she said.
Police had been called to the couple’s $5 million home just days earlier.
EERIE SCARE
On Thursday, a suspect tried to get into Kaye and Deluca’s house while possibly carrying a gun, residents told NBC affiliate KTLA.
The couple’s neighbors said they called police after someone saw a person hopping the fence.
“We didn’t see or hear anything. My renter called 911 on Thursday because she saw somebody hopping the fence,” neighbor Amee Faggen told KABC before the victims were identified.
“And I have no idea if that was related or not. They came and left, the helicopters and police came.”
It’s unclear if the two incidents are related.
POOL CLEANER SPEAKS OUT
Kaye and Deluca’s pool cleaner, Mauro Quintero, turned up at their home on Tuesday to get paid like usual, he told The U.S. Sun.
Instead, he found crime scene tape and learned they had been murdered.
He said Deluca recently told him about another attempted break-in over a month ago.
“Tom told me about a month ago that people tried to break in in the middle of the night,” Quintero, 55, said, adding that the intruders were scared off by the couple’s two small dogs barking.
“But they have little dogs and they woke him up and they ran off.”
He said the couple put up security cameras after the scare. There were also spikes on the fence surrounding the home.
“They were really nice people, the lady especially,” Quintero recalled.
“I only ever saw the two of them at the house.”
Law enforcement sources said they believe the shooting happened Thursday during a possible burglary at the house, reports NBC4 Washington.
Following their tragic deaths, a spokesperson for American Idol said: “We are devastated to hear of Robin and her dear husband, Tom’s, passing.
“Robin has been a cornerstone of the Idol family since 2009 and was truly loved and respected by all who came in contact with her.
“Robin will remain in our hearts forever and we share our deepest sympathy with her family and friends during this difficult time.”

Liv Conlon gives her 10 tricks for making more out of your home
5
Layering up in the bedroom is key
However, property expert Liv Conlon – who stages homes for a living – has shared her essential 10 tips for boosting value.
And some cost just pennies but can had hundreds to the asking price.
Liv, 26, is the CEO of multi-award-winning ThePropertyStagers.co.uk, which furnishes more than 400 homes a year, as well as a StagerBoss – a coaching business teaching other women how to do the same.
The Scots mum, who was brought up in Glasgow and now lives in Marbella with son Cash and mum Ali, says: “From posh pillows to hotel-style bedding, the right styling can make buyers fall in love and nudge them above the asking price.
“So before you stick up the For Sale sign, check out these smart, simple ways to get buyers battling to pay more than the asking price.”
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
A buyer decides in 10 seconds whether they are going to buy your home or not – so your entrance and hallway need to make a good first impression.
Make it warm and welcoming. Buy a new door mat that’s only used for viewings, with no dirty shoe marks, and place two identical plants at either side of the door – which is either clean, new or given a lick of paint. Opt for colours such as black or navyblue so it looks ‘classy’, rather than something more ‘out there’.
Clear away the clutter, and lose the smelly shoes and dumped coats.
LIVING ROOM VISION
The living room is the heart of the home – and buyers know it. It’s where they picture relaxing with a glass of wine, watching TV, or hosting friends.
Teachers told me I was runing my life leaving school at 16, now I run a seven-figure business
Get this room wrong and you risk turning off even the most interested buyer. Make it feel spacious but not sterile, styled but still homely.
Pull sofas away from the walls to create cosy conversation zones, and use a large rug to anchor the space – this helps define it and adds warmth.
Then ditch harsh overhead lights and go for soft lamps, layered lighting and oversized accessories to give a sense of luxury. Use neutral tones for your sofa and walls, then add depth with textured throws, scatter cushions and artwork.
GO BIG
Tiny trinkets and dinky lamps really don’t cut it when you’re trying to wow a buyer. One of the biggest styling mistakes sellers make is going too small with their accessories – it makes your home look underwhelming.
5
Go big with accessories
If you want to create that lux, showhome feel, size matters. Think big and bold. Oversized lamps on side tables make a dramatic statement, especially when paired with plush sofas or layered cushions.
Chunky candlesticks, large framed art or statement vases add instant impact – and make the space feel styled, not stuffed.
DON’T LOO-SE OUT
Bathrooms are an important room but are often forgotten about when it comes to staging. The key to success with styling this room is to compliment not clutter.
You can do this by adding simple styling accessories, layers and textures. Consider pops of colour in your accessories, such as a soap dispenser or a toothbrush holder, which you can pick up for as little as £3 in places like Home Bargains. This draws the eye and helps your images jump off the page.
5
Don’t forget to add a pop of colour in the bathroom
Add textures with towels and bath mats, but also through the type of glass or ceramic in your accessories. Small touches can have a big impact.
RIGHT RUG
Rugs are the unsung heroes of home staging – they define spaces, add texture and instantly warm up any room. In large, open-plan layouts, rugs create natural boundaries between living, dining and kitchen zones, making the space feel organised and inviting.
Don’t overlook the ‘forgotten’ spaces – utility rooms, hallways or entryways can be transformed with a well-chosen rug to feel cosy and purposeful.
Rugs can tie together the design elements, especially through colour and texture, in a space while providing a cosy and inviting atmosphere.
They can also significantly reduce noise levels by absorbing sound – a quieter home is always more appealing to buyers.
ALL WHITE
Five-star hotels use crisp, white bedding for a reason, as it exudes luxury and cleanliness, and it immediately puts a viewer at ease.
Patterned or busy linens can feel cluttered and overly personal, turning off potential buyers. Investing in high-quality, bright white sheets creates a serene, spa-like oasis that invites buyers to imagine themselves unwinding there.
The clean, neutral backdrop also lets you introduce pops of colour and texture with cushions and throws – easy updates that make the room feel stylish without overwhelming the senses.
GET DRESSED
Layering is the secret to making your home feel styled, warm and high-end – without overdoing it.
In the bedroom, start with white sheets, then double up on duvets: one laid flat, the second folded neatly at the end for a boutique hotel look. Use feather insert cushions -not flat polyfills – and build texture with velvet throws, faux fur or quilted finishes.
In the living room, mix cushion sizes and textures on your sofa – linen, boucle, chunky knit – to add depth. Coffee tables and sideboards should be styled too: think a stack of hardback books, a sculptural candle and one standout vase. Keep it intentional, not cluttered.
STAR OF THE SHOW
Not much beats getting ready at a dressing table. The feeling of space and time – rather than catching a quick glimpse in the closet mirror before rushing out the front door.
Create that same feeling in your bedroom by setting up a designated space in your bedroom to put on make-up and style your hair.
This can be a dual purpose area that could also double up as a work from home space too. To add real luxury, add a table standing mirror, and opt for a mirrored dressing table if your budget allows.
CLEAR OFF
Nothing puts buyers off faster than clutter. It makes rooms feel smaller and chaotic. When people view your home, they’re not just looking at the space – they’re imagining their life in it.
That’s hard to do if every surface is piled high with post, toys or toiletries. Start by stripping back.
Clear kitchen worktops, bedside tables and bathroom counters. Invest in clever storage: ottomans with lift-up lids, under-bed boxes and baskets for toys or blankets.
Hide away anything personal or bulky. Less stuff equals more space.
MIRROR IMAGE
Create symmetry in your rooms with matching bedside tables on either side of the bed. Not only does this add practicality and storage, but it instantly makes the room feel more polished.
Then, top each table with oversized, identical lamps – these create drama and a high-end vibe without breaking the bank.
Symmetry tricks the eye into seeing order and elegance, making your bedroom feel like a five-star retreat buyers won’t forget.
AN iconic Grand Designs house dubbed “perfect” by fans has hit the market for £1.5million after 20 years of “painstaking” renovation.
Green Dragon Barn, in South Hams, Devon, was forged from three connected barns by couple Sue Charman and Martin Whitlock.

The pair took on the mammoth renovation task in 2001, when the property also featured on Kevin McCloud’s show.
After 20 years the eco-project has been completed, but is now listed for sale.
The decision came after Sue sadly died in 2023, and Martin chose to embark on a new chapter elsewhere.
When Grand Designs host Kevin re-visited the five-bedroom home, after last seeing it in 2001, he said: “This is a home lovingly, painstakingly, time-consumingly transformed.
“Resplendent with 20 years of devoted care.”
Martin explained: “The revisit in 2021 was a delight – we were completely ready and the house was looking at its best.
“A complete absence of drama! Of course things were very different back in 2000. We were racing against the clock and the weather, and the programme makers made the most of that.”
The homeowner told how they chose the house in 2000 because they wanted to near the sea, and Totnes.
“The barn was a complete wreck – actually three barns built together over three centuries, and a bigger project than we were planning, but it allowed us to really go to town and create some stunning rooms,” he added.
The couple enlisted the help of architect Adrian Slocombe, of Earthway Design, to navigate how to build on the sloping landscape.
Despite dedicating two decades to the renovation, Martin said the couple relished in the adventure.
“Although it took 20 years, it wasn’t 20 years of work on the house,” he said.
“We moved into two rooms in 2001 and gradually expanded out from there as we found time to do the work in our busy lives.
“So every so often there would be new rooms or features to enjoy. A real adventure.”

The property boasts a large kitchen area which connects to an incredible 30-foot reception – kitted out with an oak floor and wood burning stove.
Potential buyers will also be able to enjoy an atrium and grand hall with dramatic pillar features.
As well as a utility room, there’s a stone larder and box room for more storage.
Upstairs, there’s four spacious bedrooms, two of which offer en-suit shower rooms, as well as a shared family bathroom.
And, one of Martin’s favourite areas is a huge vaulted room that lies beneath the thatch roof.
While creating the stunning renovation, the couple wanted to focus on keeping the project environmentally friendly.
Martin said: “Sue was passionate about environmental issues and we were determined to make the house as natural and sustainable as possible.
“It was a matter of principle but also very much in the spirit of the building.
“So the house is eco-conscious in its use of traditional, natural materials such as lime, stone, cob, slate and thatch, but is also highly insulated, has modern double glazing, a reed bed, a heat recovery system and a wood pellet boiler.”
Outside, the property boasts a private driveway which leads to a large parking and turning area in front of the house and garage.
Green Dragon Barn is now listed for sale by Stags at a guide price of £1,500,000.
Grand Designs’ most ‘bizarre’ house ever leaves fans raging
GRAND Designs’ most ‘bizarre’ house ever has left fans raging – as a pensioner builds a £600k replica of her own house.
In the latest episode of the property show 82-year-old Kathryn decided to build a 21st-century mirror image of her Edwardian home with a budget of £607,000 but she soon run into trouble.
The episode centred around Kathryn, who decided to move out of her home in North London following the death of her late husband.
Speaking to host Kevin McCloud, she said that she could no longer look after her home and that she couldn’t cope due to the stairs.
With the help of her son Gordon, Kathryn explained that she wanted to build a mirror image of her house right next door.
Fans of the show couldn’t understand the widow’s decision and slammed her decision as ridiculous.
“That was one ridiculous, overpriced, unnecessary, rip off builds I’ve seen in the history of this show.
“There’s skullduggery at play here, isn’t there Gordon?!” said one viewer.
Another added: “Omg 900k, would love to know the value now?
“Surely they could have updated the original, made the side a plot of land to sell to help with the costs #GrandDesigns.”
A third stated: “Nah that exterior is awful good lord. 900k??? Could have just fired a stair lift in her old place.”
While another fan added: “Oh dear, overpriced disaster imo. Should have just moved. All that money and already owned the land!”
During the show it was revealed that Kathryn had gone over budget by 100k due to a series of misfortunes out of her control.
Presenter Kevin described it as “dire” financially but worse was still to come.
As she was given a £19,000 bill for road cables to connect the house to electricity, and a dumbfounded Kevin was astonished.
The vast increase in costs caused fans to comment further as they couldn’t believe how much she had spent.
“Has she not heard of a stannah stair lift, what a waste of money” exclaimed a viewer.
“900k! And couldn’t even put a stairlift in! What a waste, should have saved the stress and bought a adapted bungalow.
“And it looks like a 1950s community centre” slated another.
One fan went as far as saying: “£900k for a three bed semi? Someone’s taking the p**s.”
The listing reads: “Green Dragon Barn enjoys a peaceful setting near the popular village of Blackawton, which offers a strong community spirit, a highly regarded primary school, a parish church, and a traditional village pub.
“The vibrant market town of Kingsbridge lies approximately 7 miles to the west and provides a wide range of shops, amenities, and a well-respected secondary school, serving nearby coastal villages such as Salcombe and Thurlestone.
“Totnes, around 7 miles to the north, offers an eclectic mix of independent shops, cafes, and galleries, along with a mainline railway station providing direct services to London in around three hours.
“To the south, the historic town of Dartmouth sits at the mouth of the beautiful River Dart and is renowned for its maritime heritage, excellent sailing facilities, and the prestigious Britannia Royal Naval College, also approximately 7 miles away.”
However, Martin said he “wouldn’t blame” new owners if they want to change the style to suit their personal preferences.
He also highlighted the potential their 1.3 acre garden and orchard have to offer.
Looking forward, Martin said: “I can’t imagine living in any house that I didn’t want to make changes to, so I’m open to a new project if I can find one.
“But whatever happens it will be a lot smaller – something on the scale of Green Dragon Barn is really a once-in-a-lifetime project.”
Elinor and Born Barikor, from Richmond in south west London, have created the “healthy house” for their three children.
The couple’s two sons, Avery and Pascal, both have potentially life-threatening dairy, wheat, egg, gluten, soya, oat, pulses, fruit, nut, dust, pollen and animal fur allergies.
Elinor and Born bought their property in 2018 with the hopes of forging a “safe haven” for the boys.
A 125-year-old Jacobean-style mansion is hitting the auction block for just £288,000.
The catch? Prospective buyers can only view it from a distance.

The Jacobean mansion in north Wales has been put up for sale for just £288,000
4
Originally constructed of stone in 1899 at the cost of just £4,453, a later extension was added to the incredible mansion in 1912
4
The building had been used as office accommodation for a number of years but it is now set to be sold at auction between May 20 and 22
Shire Hall, in Llangefni on the island of Anglesey, north Wales, was built in 1899 and sits overlooking the Afon Cefni river.
It was originally constructed of stone at a cost of £4,453, with an extension added in 1912.
Once used as office space, the building is now derelict following a serious fire, and is considered unsafe to enter.
It’s set to be sold at auction between 20 and 22 May.
Viewings are restricted due to the building’s dangerous condition, including a collapsed roof and major structural damage.
Paul Fosh Auctions, which is handling the sale, says the site has planning permission in place for six riverside apartments.
However, they note that a more extensive development could be possible, depending on future discussions with the local council.
Gemma Vaughan from the auction house said: “The lot offers a most unusual and exciting opportunity for an investor/developer to acquire this historic building in the heart of Llangefni.”
Shire Hall stands on Glanhwfa Road, about a mile from the A55 expressway, which links the island to the rest of north Wales and Cheshire.
Anglesey is well known for its coastal walks and sandy beaches, although Shire Hall itself is far from the seaside charm – with only ruins remaining of its former grandeur.
The sale includes Shire Hall, along with around 90 other lots, in an online auction hosted by Paul Fosh Auctions, starting at 12 noon and running from May 20 to 22.
Another property has left Brits scratching their heads – not because of its price, but also because no one’s allowed inside.
Dubbed the “mansion you can’t go inside,” the eerie estate sits behind locked gates with no signs of life, yet manages to attract curious onlookers and conspiracy theories in equal measure.
Locals say the sprawling home has been sealed up for years, with perfectly manicured gardens but not a soul ever seen entering or leaving.
There’s no for-sale sign, no public records of recent ownership changes, and absolutely no explanation as to why the doors remain firmly shut.
Despite the mystery, the mansion has become an unlikely tourist magnet, with visitors travelling miles just to snap a photo at the gates.
It may not be Britain’s most expensive or oldest home, but it’s certainly one of the strangest, and its secrecy only adds to the eerie fascination.
This comes as Britain’s “loneliest house” went on the market for £250,000, but it comes with a huge catch.
Meanwhile, viewers of Britain’s Most Expensive Houses were left baffled by a rather unusual tactic used in a bid to sell a jaw-dropping £29m mansion.
Plus, the “UK’s smallest house“, measuring less than 2.5 metres wide, has hit the market for £200k – proving once again that when it comes to British property, size, access, and logic don’t always apply.
