THE real reason Brooklyn Beckham blocked his parents David and Victoria has been revealed after he issued a bombshell legal letter to them.

The letter was sent to his mum and dad last Summer and warned them they can only contact him via lawyers and also not to “tag” him on social media.

Brooklyn wanted any attempts to reconcile to be carried out privately rather than in front of the world on social media.

A perceived breach of the legal letter was the reason why Brooklyn blocked his parents online after mum Victoria “liked” a roast chicken video he shared.

Now a source has told the Mirror that he allegedly sent the legal notice in order to protect his mental health.

The insider told the publication: “It had been leading to issues with his mental health….it was to protect himself.”

Brooklyn Beckham shares birthday message to wife amid legal row with parents

They alleged that Brooklyn believes his parents still see him as a child and not as an adult.

The source continued: “Even the Xmas post by his dad was of Brooklyn as a child.”

The inspiring chef is reportedly also hurt by claims that his wife Nicola Peltz is the reason behind the estrangement.

“This narrative is so sexist and misogynistic, and he does not stand for his wife being vilified in this way.

“It’s a story as old as time: blame the woman for the man’s actions. It’s just deeply insulting.”

The Sun has contacted Brooklyn’s representatives for a comment.

Despite cutting contact with his immediate family, the 26-year-old still has a relationship with his grandparents and wider family.

We revealed that Brooklyn has contacted both sets of his grandparents over the past six months.

He has chatted with Tony and Jackie, and Ted and Sandra. He also called them during the festive period.

A source told us: “Brooklyn absolutely adores them, and knows how much pain this is causing everyone.

“So he has reached out in his own time, but tried to keep it low-key so as not to drag them into it.

“Brooklyn is navigating this soul-crushing family feud as best he can but it isn’t easy on anyone. Nicola remains his absolute rock.”

Last month, Brooklyn took to Instagram to demonstrate his chicken-in-beer recipe, prompting a “like” from Victoria.

Within 48 hours, he had blocked his immediate family on social media.

It was initially thought that the Beckham family had unfollowed Brooklyn, but Cruz soon put things straight.

He shared a post that read: “Not true. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son.

“Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked  . . .  as did I.”

Nicola has also blocked her in-laws on social media and has deleted all traces of them from her page.

The actress has taken down a picture of herself with the former Spice Girl which she posted on Posh’s 50th birthday in 2024.

Nicola wore a white corset top and matching trousers designed by Posh Spice in the now deleted picture.

She posed with her arm around Victoria following the premiere of Nicola’s film Lola, saying: “Happy birthday to my beautiful mil [mother-in-law] Victoria Beckham.

“I love you so much and love being your dance ­partner forever.”

A-list fame comes with complications – particularly for Scooter, 44, who sources say is struggling to adjust and gets nervous when 28-year-old Sydney takes “me time”.

Premier League footballers have also been “constantly” sliding into her DMs, with some tracking down her private number, sources say.

Recent Instagram posts showing Sydney enjoying a dreamy solo trip to snowy Lapland only fuelled speculation. She appeared carefree, glowing and having the time of her life — though it remains unclear whether Scooter joined her.

Friends have also raised concerns about the couple’s 16-year age gap.

While Sydney has dated older men before — Davino is 41 — some social media barbs have struck a nerve with Scooter.

Now, however, the spotlight is shining brighter than ever on Tinseltown’s new golden girl never stops.

Neither does the rush for her affections.

Sydney told The Sun last year that her DMs are “not a safe space,” and the messages keep coming.

Coronation Street revealed surprise death news in Monday’s episode of the ITV soap and Debbie Webster has implied that all is not what it seems after the surprise passing

Coronation Street aired scenes of a shock death on Monday evening. Earlier this year, Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) arrived as the long-lost half brother of Kevin Webster, and whilst things were going well to begin with, their reunion quickly soured when it was revealed that Carl had been having an affair with his brother’s wife Abi.

Little is known about Carl’s past, but what has been established is that he grew up in Germany with his parents Bill and Elaine Webster. Bill was the father of Kevin (Michael Le Vell) and Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney), and their mother Alison never appeared on the programme, having died in 1980. Carl was then born to Bill and Elaine off-screen in 1986.

On Monday’s episode of the world’s longest-running TV soap, Abi was at Debbie’s hen-do when she got a panicked phone call and rushed straight home. Once there, Carl revealed to her that his mother had died, and he had been completely unaware that she had been fighting cancer.

For the first time, Carl began to open up about his mother to Abi and hinted at a mystery that was never solved between the pair. He said: “She was… formidable. Not the most loving of mothers, that’s for sure. Our relationship was tricky. I knew she wanted me to settle down, get married and have kids and all then.

“I was immature back then – late developer. She did bail me out a few times, though, let me stay at hers, when I hit the skids. I remember my 30th, I had to come home, tail between my legs, after my latest job and relationship had gone pear-shaped.

“She was back in Southampton then. I must’ve been there a week and I hadn’t really got out of bed. She came in my room one morning, dragged me out of bed and said we were going to the beach. I hadn’t been to the beach with my mum since I was a little boy.

“And I said I was sorry for being a mess. 30 and still kipping in my mum’s spare room. She was quiet for a long time and then said I deserved more from my growing up. But if I knew what had happened, then I would understand why.”

Abi then asked if she ever explained herself to him, and Carl replied: “No. I’m sorry Abi, for being the kind of person that not even a mother can love.” It was then that Abi pulled Carl in close, her eyes wide, clearly worried about what her partner had just said to her. She later reminded him that just because Elaine rarely called, that didn’t make him a bad son, and Debbie then burst in, having heard that something terrible had happened.

Through tears, Carl told his half-sister: “Apparently she’d been in the hospice for months. I didn’t even know that she was ill,” and when he and Abi voiced their dismay that Elaine had never been in touch, Debbie began to justify it. She said: “Well, we don’t know what’s gone on, do we?

“She might not have been well enough.” Carl then asked Debbie when she last spoke to Elaine, and the hotel owner quickly claimed that they hadn’t spoken since Bill died, which would have been in 2023.

But there was a further twist in store when Debbie, who was diagnosed with vascular dementia earlier this year, went home to her fiancé Ronnie. When he said it was odd that Elaine had not got in touch with the family, Debbie revealed: “She tried to. Recently. I just… I just forgot to tell him. With everything going on, it just… it just went out of my head.

“I haven’t told Carl – I can’t. He’d never forgive me. Ronnie, don’t tell him, will you? I feel terrible Really terrible.” When Ronnie reassured Debbie that it wasn’t her fault and she didn’t do it on purpose, she didn’t respond and simply gave a weird look.
