The running order was shared online ahead of the show
Before the show started, pro dancer Julian Caillon shared a blurry picture of the running order.
But as the show got underway, Strictly viewers noticed that Karen Carney was moved from the fourth slot in the line up.
The former footballer was dancing a Cha Cha Cha to She’s a Lady from Miss Congeniality with her pro partner Carlos Gu.
She was supposed to perform after YouTube star George Clarke, but he was followed by Drag Race star La Voix instead.
The eagle-eyed viewers immediately took to X to question the change, with one writing: “I wonder why they changed order with Karen and Carlos and they weren’t in Clauditorium.
“Maybe some wardrobe problem.”
Another added: “why did we skip karen and carlos in the running order.”
In the end, Karen and Carlos performed seventh and scored 25 points.
Here in the UK, many of our towns and cities are connected by an impressive network of trains. A Brit who used Australian transport system for the first time was wowed by one feature

The Brit noticed an unexpected feature on trains in Sydney, Australia (stock image)
A British woman on a working holiday in Sydney, Australia was pleasantly surprised after getting on a train and spotting a “cool” feature – but many people were quick to point out it may not be as unique as she thinks. Despite both the UK and Australia sharing the same native language, there are many differences and culture clashes between the countries.
It can be an incredibly enriching and enlightening experience to live abroad, even in destinations that still speak the same tongue. Many people choose to go travelling around the world, or take jobs that offer them the opportunity to live in a different country, getting first hand experience of contrasting cultures and other ways of life.
Like lots of others, Megan has taken to documenting her experiences on social media, regularly offering snapshots of her new life on TikTok.
In one particularly popular video, Megan shared her awe over the Sydney trains, which feature adjustable seats that can be flipped so they face forwards, backwards, or sideways. This then allows passengers to sit facing others.
Over the top of the footage, captured from her point of view and showing how to easily adjust the train seat, Megan penned: “As a Brit in Australia, this has baffled me…”
In the caption accompanying the clip, she simply added: “Their trains are so much cooler here lol!!”
The video has so far racked up more than 4.6 million views. In the comments section, people were keen to share their thoughts – with many adamant this was a feature here in the UK.

Another agreed: “Trains used to be like this in England”.
A third said: “British trams 100s of years ago did this” while a fourth echoed this: “Trams had this over 100 years ago in Scotland.”
One TikTok user simply said: “Blackpool trams were like this.”
Another shared: “I was on a literal steam engine built in the early 1900s last summer and they had this lol”.
Another joked: “When does this update drop in the UK?”
A local said: “As an Australian this has baffled me too because this is just a Sydney thing”.
Another local was surprised and commented: “TRAINS CAN DO THAT HERE..?”
Someone else observed: “Wait this is so cool”.
Another shared: “I (a Brit) once discovered this on a train in New York by accident and got the whole train of Americans doing it after hahaha”.
And another added: “As an American, I thought all trains did this”.

Reiss admitted he’s looking for a woman with a specific walkCredit: e4
But viewers were left confused when Reiss admitted he’s looking for a woman with a specific walk.
In his VT, Reiss said: “When people first meet me, they think I’m flash because of the looks. I consider myself to be a pretty boy.”
He continued: “If I was to go for a certain woman, I initially look at her teeth, her smile.
“I get a bit silly and I start looking into their walk, making sure they have a nice walk as well.
“A good walk for a woman is when they go one by one and not side by side.”
He then demonstrated using his fingers the type of walk he wants his wife to have.
But E4 viewers were left bemused by the requirement.
One wrote: “What did Reiss mean about a woman’s walk? The only way to do it is one foot in front of the other. It’s just a shuffle otherwise.”
A second posted: “WTF does Reiss mean about ‘I don’t like side by side walk’. He seems like a weirdo but was hoping he would be ‘nicer Steven’.”
A third said: “Hope Reiss demonstrates the crab walk he despises. I want to make sure I walk correctly.”
Shock moment MAFS UK groom squirms as he’s grilled by ‘turned on’ bride seconds after walking up the aisle
This person commented: “What the f*** is Reiss on about? How many women walk like crabs!?”
Someone else said: “Where the f*** did they get him from? At least I now know how to walk,” while this viewer posted: “Leisha better crab walk down that isle.”
“A good walk for a woman is legs going straight of each other one at the time and not side to side. Either the women where he comes from are constantly p***** or have s**t themselves,” another shared.
This person said: “She best walk down the aisle in an assertive…one foot in front of the other yet straight manner.”
While this viewer wrote: “Reiss seems to think he’s gods gift to women as long as they don’t walk like a crab…ok then.”
Another added: “How does he think women walk?”
Reiss, who owns his own painting and decorating company, said he loves to get his hands dirty and isn’t shy when it comes to grafting.
Reiss said: “I’m very close to my family, my nanny Linda is like an angel, she’s my rock. I love playing chess with her.
“My nan and granddad have had a romantic relationship for years, I’m hoping that’s what mine will be like.”
The Essex lad said he’s a romantic at heart and has learnt from the best – so is now ready to settle down.
Reiss, who previously dated Towie star Dani Imbert, also spoke about his most recent split.
He said: “I miss being in a relationship. You can’t really beat it.
“I don’t know if I’ve found the full package.
“I do choose the wrong girls. My last relationship unfortunately came to an end because the bickering became too much.
“I’ve been heartbroken in past relationships. When a girl leaves you, I feel abandoned and I just feel lost.
“Marrying a strange will work because I’ll do anything to find the perfect one.”
Yesterday, E4 viewers saw the pair meet for the first time at the altar.
Reiss could be seen turning around to greet Leisha, who was already laughing away.
The overexcited bride appeared to be too much for Reiss within the first few seconds.
In one scene, she can be seen bending her knees before screaming at the ground in excitment.
Reiss was seen looking on uncomfortably.
Speaking to the camera, Reiss voiced his concern as he said: “She’s 100 miles an hour.
“Let’s hope it doesn’t turn to 1000 miles an hour.”
Still clearly overexcited for her wedding day, Leisha said to the camera: “Buckle up because he’s in for a good ride.”
Ahead of the experiment, Reiss spoke out about his hopes for the show and the kind of bride he was hoping to marry.
His ideal bride is “someone blonde, petite with an element of glamour”

EFL fans have been left baffled over Portsmouth’s goalkeeper substitution.
Keeper Nicolas Schmid was forced off after suffering a first half injury.

Portsmouth’s goalkeepers are the spitting image of one another
And he was replaced by deputy Ben Killip, with the pair sharing an embrace as they switched over.
It was an eye-cathcing sub as Schmid and Killip bore a striking similarity with one another.
They both have curly blond hair and beards, prompting confusion for viewers at home.
One reacted saying: “I swear Portsmouth just bought on a stunt double for their keeper. Absolute doppelganger.”
Another added: “Should have just swapped them at half time without anyone knowing.”
A third wrote: “Bit unfair cloning your starting GK, Pompey.”
And another commented: “Had me questioning my sanity.”
The incident took place during Portsmouth’s 0-0 draw with Southampton in the South Coast derby.
Shortly afterwards the match was interrupted by a pitch invader, who made it as far as the halfway line and appeared to gesture towards the away fans.
Saints also aimed a cheeky dig at their rivals by unveiling a provocative tifo before the match, showing James Beattie celebrating a goal against Pompey in 2003.

LABOUR’s migrant deal with France is already unravelling — as dinghies keep crossing and confusion erupts over how it is meant to work.
Just days after the “one-in, one-out” scheme came into force, footage shared by the Tories shows French warships escorting small boats packed with migrants across the Channel.

More than 25,000 migrants have crossed the Channel in small boats so far in 2025Credit: PA
Ministers are also at odds how the deal is even meant to work, with conflicting statements on whether deportations can go ahead if migrants lodge human rights claims.
Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp, filming off Calais, said: “I’m on the Channel today just off Calais to see if the Government’s new deal with France is working. It isn’t.
“There is a boat full of illegal immigrants crossing right in front of me.
“The French warship is escorting it and & making no attempt at all to stop it.”
At the same time, Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy sparked fresh confusion by claiming migrants removed under the scheme could still have their human rights claims heard – but in France.
Asked whether human rights claims presented a loophole to the returns deal, she told Sky News: “That’s not the case at all … the deal that we’ve struck will allow people with us to send people back to France who have human rights claims.
“Those claims will be heard in France.
“I know that the Conservative Party has been saying that this is a loophole. It isn’t and we’re really confident about that.”
But the terms of scheme published on Tuesday suggest the opposite.
It states that the UK confirms that at the time of their transfer that person will not have an outstanding human rights claim.
And it also makes clear France will not participate in UK legal proceedings.
The Tories also argue the wording opens the door for lawyers to delay or block removals with last-minute claims.
But Home Office officials insist have they prepared for judicial review challenges against certification of a human rights decisions to be heard by UK courts from France.
Ministers hope the new route – where migrants in France apply online – will offer a “safe and legal” alternative to the boats.
But those who have already crossed are not eligible, meaning thousands already here won’t be affected.
Only around 50 people a week are expected to be returned under the deal, which would equate to only one in every 17 small boat arrivals.
The new legal route to Britain only applies to people already in France who have not tried to cross illegally.
To qualify, they must apply online and prove they have close family in the UK, come from a country that is likely to get asylum, or are at risk of being trafficked or exploited.
Unaccompanied children, people with criminal records, and anyone who has previously been deported from the UK are banned from applying.
The deal also reveals that Britain is picking up the tab for both directions of travel – paying for the transport of migrants we send back to France and those we bring in legally.
Alp Mehmet from Migration Watch told The Sun: “This Starmer/Macron wheeze has zero chance of working. It won’t discourage migrants, while smugglers will be tempted to pile in even more people into flimsy vessels. It will have the opposite effect to the one intended.”
The deal will remain in force until June 2026 – but the legal route can be paused automatically if France slows down on taking people back.
Despite Labour’s promise to stop the boats, this year is already on track for a record number of arrivals.
More than 25,000 migrants have crossed the Channel in small boats so far in 2025 – up 49 per cent on the same point last year.
Love Island fans were left shocked during tonight’s episode as Blu and Megan discussed what had been going on in the outside world – something which is usually banned on the show
21:57, 30 Jul 2025Updated 22:19, 30 Jul 2025
Things got personal in last night’s Love Island as the Couple Goals challenge allowed the Islanders to air all their dirty laundry. Tonight things escalated as the Islanders discussed the outside world – which is usually strictly against the rules.
As we know, Megan and Blu re-joined the villa after being booted out weeks ago, and during tonight’s episode Blu spilled all on the outside world, despite Islanders usually having to be shut off from the outside world.
“You know how much I love Megan but I just feel like the first time Megan came in compared to this time is completely different,” Dejon told Blu and Harry, as he continued to drop some home truths.

During her first stint in the villa, Megan formed a connection with Tommy before dumping him for Conor. Blu then revealed that Megan was left “fuming” after seeing Lucy and Tommy in Tape. Conor then confronted Megan about the ongoings, as she admitted they shared a few flirty texts.
However, fans were left baffled that the Islanders had been allowed to speak about the outside world, as one penned: “are they allowed to talk about the outside world like this? Blu is working overtime to get that screentime!”
A second wrote: “Why would they allow Blu to reveal how the public feels?? It goes against the whole point of contestants not allowed contact with the outside world.”
“So the producer are just gonna allow Bly to talk about what happening on the outside??!??????!! Hmmh kinda beat the point of the concept on show having no contact with the outside world….but does kinda cause drama but still.”

Elsewhere, the Islanders had their biggest fallout yet. Last night, during the Couple Goals challenge, the Islanders were asked which couple they thought were the most fake, and the answers caused a stir. Meg and Dejon chose Harry and Shakira, as Meg announced: “I feel like Shakira, you’ve made some very hurtful comments to me that we’re not very nice and I’ve always been there for you.”
Tonight, the arguments continued, as the Islanders were asked: “Which couple are you most scared to give your honest opinion on?”
Shakira and Harry choose Meg and Dejon, as Meg told to Shakira, “I think if people were honest in the first place and told us to our faces instead of saying it constantly behind our back, it would be a different story.”
However, Shakira wasn’t having any of it, as she responded: “You throwing around the fake word is rich to be honest. I don’t know why you keep acting like we’re the best of mates in here. From day one, you were very standoffish with any girl that was posed as a threat.”
The argument continued to escalate as Meg told Shakira she wouldn’t be her friend on the outside. “I will never speak to you on the outside. I honestly can’t stand you sometimes,” Shakira responded.
Will the girls make up?
LOVE ISLAND CONTINUES TOMORROW NIGHT AT 9PM ON ITV2 AND ITVX
The Love Island villa was graced with the arrival of two more bombshells tonight, as Billykiss and Ryan wasted no time in taking some of the Islanders on a date

Love Island fans fume as latest episode cut short(Image: ITV)
The Love Island villa was rocked with even more drama tonight, as bombshells Billykiss and Ryan made their shock entrance into the villa. However, fans were left baffled when tonight’s episode was seemingly cut short just as the drama started to heat up.
The new arrivals wasted no time in getting to know their fellow Islanders, as they headed out on dates straight away. Ryan chose Shakira and Toni to take out on a date, while Billykiss decided to date both Dejon and Conor.
After the dates, Billykiss and Ryan entered the regular villa where they met the rest of the Islanders. Billykiss gathered around the fire pit with the girls while Ryan updated the boys on his dates with Shakira and Toni. However, fans didn’t see much after that, as the show finished 7 minutes earlier than scheduled.

The ITV2 schedule said the episode would be running until 10.05 – but fans’ trip to the villa ended at 9.58 – just as Meg was heard worrying about Dejon’s attraction towards the new bombshell.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan said: “THERES ANOTHER 7 MINUTES LEFT.” A second penned: “No tomorrow night and finishes 6 mins early!”
A third confused fan penned: “Weird part to end it on it ended a few minutes early.”
It seems Dejon is popular amongst the new bombshells, having been chosen for several dates. However, this didn’t go down well with Meg, who was visibly fed up with the number of tests she and Dejon were having to undergo.
Toni and Shakira dated new bombshell Ryan(Image: ITV)
As Billykiss walked through the main villa, Dejon gushed over her figure with the other guys, as a worried Meg said she thinks the new bombshell would be the one to turn heads. However, fans were left fuming when the episode came to an end on the abrupt cliffhanger.
Fans weren’t shown a snippet of tomorrow night either, which has been a reoccurring theme in this series. Although there have been some episodes where they’re shown snippets of the next day – most of the time they wait for the first look the following afternoon to see what’s in store.
Elsewhere, sparks could be flying for Shakira and Ryan as she informed him that she had broken things off with Harry before the date. It came after she became aware of Harry and Helena’s X-rated comments towards each other during last night’s heart rate challenge.
It came at a sensitive time for Shakira, just one day after Harry chose to snog his ex, Helena, in the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge. Enough was enough for Shakira, as earlier in the episode, she was completely over their relationship as she couldn’t be bothered to be involved in the love triangle.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
Turkey has always been a holiday spot I consciously avoided – I’d heard a number of negative things and I suppose those just stuck with me.
Sheena set off from Belfast International to fly to Dalaman(Image: TUI)
Turkey was always a holiday destination BelfastLivereporter Sheena McStravick deliberately steered clear of — she had heard a fair share of negative reviews that seemed to have stuck. As such, she has always chosen the familiar territories of Spain and France for family getaways.
However, she said around the block enough times now to realise that she should visit places firsthand before forming an opinion, so that’s precisely what my family and Sheena did. They set off from Belfast International to fly to Dalaman, a region of Turkey she admitted that she had never come across.
As it turns out, it’s a rather popular tourist hotspot, and two flights were departing from Belfast on the same afternoon they took off. The newly revamped Belfast International Airport was a brilliant kick-off, with the fresh new look and impressive duty-free zone finally fitting for an international airport.
“It was a bustling Monday afternoon with hundreds of others also jetting out of the airport, so it was an absolute blessing to be booked into the Causeway Lounge, avoiding the extremely lengthy queues for the food outlets,” Sheena wrote.
Sheena stayed at the TUI Blue Sensatori Akra in Feithye(Image: TUI)
The lounge was “ideal relaxed beginning” to the holiday, with reserved seating, plenty of room for the kids to watch the planes, a nice selection of soups, wraps, and sweet treats, hot beverages, and a fully stocked bar.
“I’d certainly recommend booking this in advance, as the airport was packed that day. Many folks were unable to gain entry because it had reached capacity with bookings.”
Sheena’s entire holiday was booked via TUI, so everything was sorted, from her flights to transfers to the hotel. They stayed at the TUI Blue Sensatori Akra in Feithye, which was about a 45-minute transfer from the airport and situated in a “really tranquil and serene spot, nestled among a forest and a beach.”
Upon arrival in Dalaman, everything from TUI was very quick and straightforward, the App pinging with their bus number as they exited the plane and collected luggage.
“The TUI Blue hotel had everything we desired and so much more. With two children aged seven and three with us, it was perfect,” she wrote.
Sheena’s room was situated right next to the beach(Image: Tui)
“Upon check-in we were presented with a checklist of items for ‘Little Travellers’ that the hotel could provide if needed, it had everything from pushchairs to nappies, wipes, baby baths, baby monitors, potties, and so much more, I’ve never seen a hotel so well equipped for families with young children.
“Situated right next to the beach, our room on the second floor had absolutely stunning views across the hotel. The hotel also features some incredible swim-up rooms on the ground floor, which looked incredibly relaxing.”
With five swimming pools, including a superb children’s splash pool, water slides, and an adults-only area, there was genuinely something for everyone. Unsurprisingly, Sheena’s two children were glued to the water slides, which were open for two hours each morning and afternoon, perfect for dodging the day’s peak heat.
The hotel also prides itself on a fantastic kids’ club suitable for youngsters aged 3 to 12, as well as a dedicated baby club with a fully equipped nursery.
When it comes to entertainment, this hotel was never short. The evening entertainment provided by the TUI Blue cast team was particularly outstanding, with the nightly appearance of the TUIBots being a major highlight for the kids.
“From Disney-inspired performances to dazzling shows filled with incredible music and dancing, this team ranks among the best I’ve ever seen on holiday. Their patience and kindness towards all the children were truly remarkable.”
The restaurant offered a vast array of fresh produce for breakfast, lunch and dinner(Image: Sheena McStravick)
No matter your preference, there was entertainment for everyone, whether you preferred a more chilled live music setting in the Piano Bar or cool beach vibes with a nightly DJ at the Caretta Cocktail Bar. Conveniently located next to the brilliant outdoor children’s play park, the latter an “absolutely genius idea”.
She added: “Another standout feature was the food. I don’t reckon I’ve ever seen such a variety at an all-inclusive resort! The separate children’s buffet was a massive hit, allowing the little ones to pick their own food and serve themselves.
“The Restaurant offered a vast array of top-notch fresh produce for breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with special themed menus each evening. And if that wasn’t enough, there are an additional five restaurants on site, including Chinese, Turkish and Italian – you certainly won’t be short of options!”
There was “genuinely no need to leave this fantastic resort”, as it included shops, a spa, a gym, tennis courts, a football pitch, and so much more.
However, if you fancied a bit of exploration, the market town of Feithye was just a 15-minute shuttle boat ride away, where you could browse the shops and grab a bite in the cafes and restaurants. You can also get there via a public bus, which picks up right outside the hotel.
The Sensatori Akra, while perfectly suited for families, is also a brilliant spot for a couples getaway or if you have older teenage children.
There are specially designated rooms, a large pool area, restaurant and bar that are adult only and suitable for those aged 16 plus, allowing you to enjoy a more relaxing child-free zone.
“Despite my initial reservations about holidaying in Turkey, this trip has completely dispelled any fears or concerns I had,” Sheena said.
“The numerous individuals I chatted with during my stay echoed the same sentiment: once you’ve experienced Turkey, you won’t want to holiday anywhere else, and I can certainly understand why.
“While other tourist hotspots in Spain seem to actively discourage tourists, Turkey embraces them with open arms and a warm disposition. I’ll definitely be returning!”

Three Love Island boys came up with the plan(Image: ITV/Shutterstock)
Love Island fans were taken aback on Monday nigh by Harry, Dejon and Shea’s “childish” plan. Their antics were quickly rumbled by the other Islanders as it was revealed they had schemed together about who to kiss during the came.
Tommy revealed that he found it suspicious that Harry, Dejon and Shea all ended up kissing the girls that they were most interested in outside of their own couples. Amid Tommy’s probing, Harry cracked as he owned up to their plan.
He revealed: “We were all like, boys lets just forget the question and just say who you wanna kiss – so Shea was like I wanna kiss Megan, when he read it out, me and D said, ‘That’s Megan!’”
The boys created a plan so they could kiss who they wanted to(Image: ITV)
Tommy was stunned as he replied: “Oh my god, f****ng hell! What do you think will happen tonight then? That will all come out?” Harry hit back: “The girls are gonna find out!”
Tommy decided to give the girls a heads up as he took Megan to the Terrace and let her know what he was told. A shocked Megan fumed: “We f***ing knew it!”
Tommy decided to spill more as he said: “Shea said, ‘When it’s my turn say Megan’ – I think that’s out of order. I don’t like confrontation, but I will stand up for what’s right. He failed, you shut him down and he’s still going for it, the only reason I think he’s doing that is to piss me off and he’s f***ing done it.”
Viewers also joined in Tommy and Megan’s anger as they hit out at the trio. One said: “the concept of these 30 year old men making up a secret plan to kiss the girls they want to kiss in a challenge without other people knowing.”
The plan worked until Harry decided to confess(Image: ITV)
Another added: “The whole kissing plan was hella weird, but the way the guys are going about it is making me laugh because they are so oblivious to their stupidity.” Someone else commented: “so harry makes the plan and then is the first to snitch…”
A fourth wrote: “This episode is so childish omds like yall are grown behave.” Others were more confused as to why Harry decided to reveal the plan despite it working for them.
“Harry is a liability why did he tell Tommy the plan?,” asked a viewer. Another added: “None of this would have happened if the guys had kept their devious plan to themselves.”
Someone else commented: “Harry loves chaos because there was no need telling Tommy.” A fan praised: “Harry’s f***ing hilarious icl, what great tv.”
As word of the boys’ plan spread around the Villa, the penny started to drop with some of the Islanders about the choices that were being made in the challenge. Harry protested: “It’s only a challenge” but Tommy made the decision to pull Shea.
A CONFUSED dad has been left stumped by his 10-year-old son’s maths homework with the internet dubbing it ‘absolutely bonkers.’
The father took to Reddit after being left puzzled by a multiple choice question given to his primary school-aged child.

Can you work out the primary school maths problem?Credit: Reddit
While there are four different “answers” to choose from, the concerned dad noted there “must be missing something” from the equation – as none of the options appeared to be correct.
“This particular question was in my son’s math homework from the other day,” he wrote.
“They reviewed the answers in class today and apparently the answer was A.”
The question that has him, and everyone else, scratching their heads was this: Kayla has 18 bottles of bubbles. She wants to give two bottles to each of her six friends. How many bottles will she have left over?
Read More on Brainteasers
Children then had the option of four expressions and were challenged to identify the one that “solves the problem”.
It read: A) (18 divide 2) divide 6, B) (18 divide 2) + 6, C) (18 x 2) – 6, or D) (18 x 2) + 6.
But as the dad – who said he was “curious how they came to this answer” – pointed out, “none of the options seemed right as I was expecting it to be 18 – (6 × 2)”.
Some people rushed to the comments section to try and work out the answer, but most agreed there was an issue with the options provided with describing it as ‘absolutely bonkers’.
“I think it’s more likely a typo or misprint. If they swapped the subtraction and multiplication sign and moved the parentheses on answer choice C, then: (18 x 2) – 6 could become 18 – (2 x 6),” one said.
“You’re correct, the teacher is wrong. If you simplify A, you get 1.5 which doesn’t make any sense in the context of the problem,” mused another.
99 percent of people can’t find the hidden objects in under 20 seconds – are you up to the challenge
While one simply said: “Seems that A is wrong to me too.”
Some tried to make it work, but struggled.
“Really twisting my brain here to make sense of A being correct, but here goes: if you divide 18 bottles by 2 you get 9 bottles in two separate piles. Now give one bottle from each pile to all 6 friends. The result would be 3 bottles leftover in two separate piles, or 6 leftover bottles total. Gymnastics,” declared one.
“A, if they are supposed to use Euclidean divisions (18/2 = she has 9 batches of 2, 9/6 => 1 and remainder is 3),” tried another.
While one described it as “bad logic”, but gave it a stab anyway.
How can optical illusions and brainteasers help me?
Engaging in activities like solving optical illusions and brainteasers can have many cognitive benefits as it can stimulate various brain regions.
Some benefits include:
Cognitive stimulation: Engaging in these activities challenges the brain, promoting mental agility and flexibility.
Problem-solving skills: Regular practice enhances analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Memory improvement: These challenges often require memory recall and can contribute to better memory function.
Creativity: They encourage thinking outside the box, fostering creativity and innovative thought processes.
Focus and attention: Working on optical illusions and brainteasers requires concentration, contributing to improved focus.
Stress relief: The enjoyable nature of these puzzles can act as a form of relaxation and stress relief.
“This is the only way I can get any of the answer choices (and it is A) – I’m not saying it’s correct, only wanted to explain their (wrong) logic:
“She’s splitting the 18 bottles into sets of 2, that’s 18 / 2. Then, she’s splitting those sets of 2 among her 6 friends.
“That’s why you divide by 6 next. That leaves you with A. But as everyone here has said, you and your son are correct. The worksheet is wrong.”
Eventually, the child decided to expose the issue with the question, writing: “None, 18 – (6 x 2).”
The father later returned to update everyone, stating “the worksheet is indeed wrong”.
“I did talk with the teacher and they went over it in class together. The teacher mentioned none of the answers were right and what my son came up with was correct,” he shared.

Good Morning Britain sparked reaction online from ITV viewers after showbiz editor Richard Arnold shared ‘special’ baby news live on air about Peppa Pig’s mother
09:07, 20 May 2025Updated 09:08, 20 May 2025
Good Morning Britain fans were left scratching their heads after Richard Arnold dropped some ‘special’ baby news on the show.
On Monday’s (May 20) episode of ITV’s popular morning programme, presenters Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid were joined by the showbiz guru, who hinted at having ‘special oinking news’ to share.
Richard announced: “I have some baby news for you, what a beautiful day it is today. Now, as you know, I’ve interviewed Hollywood stars, music icons, sporting legends but the nation has been gripped by my biggest ever exclusive chat with Mummy Pig, when she announced, if you remember, her pregnancy back in February.”
He added: “Over 60 million of you on TikTok have been following Mummy Pig and the rest of the pig family while they get ready to welcome their new addition. This was the interview where it all started.”

Revealing the big news, he said: “Since then, Mummy, Daddy and Baby Pig painted Battersea Power Station pink as they revealed the gender of their baby. Peppa and George will be welcoming a little sister and now, it brings me great joy to announce that she’s here!”, reports Bristol Live.
Susanna quickly chimed in with her congratulations, saying: “Aww, congratulations.”
Richard gushed: “It’s a beautiful thing, like I said, Daddy Pig has just shared these pictures with me of Peppa’s brand new baby sister Evie named after Mummy Pig’s Aunt Evie, she was born at 5:34am this morning, thankfully, just in time to watch her first ever Good Morning Britain.
“She’s certainly receiving the royal treatment so far with the town crier announcing her birth and a special plaque, how very royal, all the birthing details unveiled. Beautiful pictures here too, as you can see of the happy family.”
He continued: “Understandably, Mummy Pig is resting but Daddy Pig has let me know he will be free to catch up next week for his first ever TV interview and another glimpse of the new baby. You can find out when Peppa meets the baby this autumn.”

Susanna queried: “Do you know the weight?” To which Richard responded: “I don’t know the weight, I thought it might be a little bit invasive to ask at this stage.”
Susanna retorted: “People always ask the weight.” Richard quipped: “I was nearly ten pounds, you can imagine, it was all head because I’ve always had a smurf like body.”
Wrapping up the segment, Richard announced: “Great news and we will catch up with Daddy Pig next week.”
Confused viewers at home took to social media to express their surprise at the announcement. One viewer tweeted on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Animated pigs ? OMG! This programme gets worse Seek professional help @GMB #GMB.”
One perplexed viewer remarked: “What the f**k is going on? Feel like I’m on drugs #GMB.”
Another posted: “Am I having a fever dream? A whole segment about a cartoon pig? Is this what we’ve become? ! ! #Gmb.”
